Gebruikte Europese geharmoniseerde normen om vermoeden te geven van
overeenstemming met de essentiële eisen van de hierboven vermelde richtlijnen:
NF EN 1678+A1 : 2010, Machines voor voedingsmiddelen – Groentesnijder.
Voorschriften met betrekking tot de veiligheid en de hygiëne.
Deze Europese Norm is een norm van het type C zoals gedefinieerd in de EN ISO 12100. In het
geval de bepalingen van deze norm van het type C verschillen van de bepalingen vermeld in de
normen van het type A of B, prevaleren de bepalingen van de norm van het type C over de
bepalingen van de andere normen. Deze norm verschaft de middelen om te voldoen aan de eisen
van de “machines” Richtlijn nummer 2006/42/CE, (zie bijlage ZA)

BELANGRIJKE VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
Wanneer u deze machine of een ander elektrisch apparaat gebruikt, neem dan altijd de
volgende veiligheidsmaatregelen in acht.
Lees de gehele handleiding.
WAARSCHUWINGEN:
1. Geen producten in de goot doen en aandrukken met de stamper als de
machine nog niet is opgestart .
2. Het apparaat niet schoonmaken met een waterstraal of een hoge-druk
machine.
3. Om elektrocutie te voorkomen, niet het voetstuk in water of een andere
vloeistof onderdompelen.
4. Altijd eerst de steker uit de contactdoos halen voordat men ingrepen gaat
verrichten op het apparaat zoals schoonmaken,
onderhoudswerkzaamheden.
5. Het is verboden andere vervangingsdelen dan de erkende oorspronkelijke
SANTOS onderdelen te gebruiken.
ELEKTRISCHE AANSLUITING:
De elektrische voeding van het apparaat is beschikbaar in drie verschillende
spanningen
o 220-240V 50 Hz enkelfase
o 220-240V 60 Hz enkelfase
o 110-120V 50/60 Hz enkelfase
Bescherming van de lijn: het apparaat moet aangesloten worden op een standaard
stopcontact 2 polen + aarde. De installatie moet voorzien
zijn van een differentiaal lastschakelaar en een zekering
van 16A. De aarding van het apparaat is verplicht.

LET OP:
Alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten, controleren of de spanning van het stroomnet
overeenkomt met deze van uw apparaat. Deze waarde staat vermeld:
op het typeplaatje dat onder aan het apparaat is aangebracht.

Opmerking: Voor het gemak bij het lezen van de volgende paragrafen, verwijzen wij
naar de schema’s aan het eind van de handleiding.

Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet hij vervangen worden door een speciale
set beschikbaar bij de Maatschappij SANTOS of bij een erkende SANTOS-
leverancier.
1STE IN WERKING STELLING:
Even de tijd nemen om de lade (1) en de schijf (6) zorgvuldig te wassen voor het eerste
gebruik.
RECYCLAGE VAN HET PRODUCT AAN HET EINDE VAN DE LEVENSDUUR
Dit apparaat is voorzien van het symbool van de selectieve sortering
betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit
betekent dat dit product verwerkt moet worden door een selectief
inzamelingssysteem conform de richtlijn 2002/96/CE (WEEE) – deel
Professionele Apparaten – zodat het gerecycleerd of uit elkaar gehaald kan
worden om de impact ervan op het milieu te verminderen.
Voor meer informatie kunt u contact opnemen met uw verdeler of met SANTOS.
Voor de verwijdering of de recyclage van de componenten van het apparaat, gelieve
contact op te nemen met een gespecialiseerde maatschappij of met SANTOS.
De elektronische producten die niet selectief gesorteerd zijn, kunnen mogelijks een
gevaar betekenen voor het milieu.
De verpakkingsmaterialen moeten verwijderd en gerecycleerd worden conform de
geldende wetgeving.

INLEIDING
RASP N°2
Robuuste constructie (gegoten aluminium en roestvrij staalplaat) met een lade voor
voedingsmiddelen van onbreekbaar plastic, de rasp nr 2 is uitermate geschikt voor
professionele toepassingen: restaurants, pizzeria’s, kaasdelicatessenwinkels,
warenhuizen, grote keukens.
Voorzien van een krachtige motor en een raspschijf met een diameter van 110 mm
met hoog productievermogen van RVS, de gemiddelde afgegeven hoeveelheid van
de rasp bedraagt 50 kg/h.
Wordt standaard geleverd met een schijf met gaten van een ø van 3 mm voor
gruyèrekaas. De rasp nr 2 kan eveneens gebruikt worden met andere schijven op
verzoek:
o Schijven met gaten van ø 2, ø 4, ø 6 of ø 8 mm.
o Speciale schijven voor Parmesankaas en fonduekaas.
De rasp nr 2 is eveneens geschikt voor het raspen van amandelen, hazelnoten of
voor het vervaardigen van paneermeel.

Ontwerp gelijk aan de rasp nr 2, het enige verschil tussen beide apparaten betreft
de volgende punten:
o Speciale schijf met een afstelbaar mes om de ijsblokjes te breken.
o Plaat van roestvrij staal onder aan de lade

GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
GEBRUIK (figuur 1)
1. De te raspen stukken kaas van te voren klaarmaken (of de ijsblokjes).
2. Controleren of de lade (1) naar behoren op zijn plaats is gebracht (de werking is
onderworpen aan een veiligheidsinrichting die controleert of de lade wel aanwezig
is). Voor het malen van ijsblokjes: de RVS plaat in de lade leggen.
3. Het apparaat in werking stellen door te drukken op de knop Aan / Uit (5).
4. De hendel (4) optillen, een stukje kaas (of ijsblokjes) in het apparaat steken en
zonder te forceren op de hendel drukken.
5. Deze handeling zo vaak als nodig herhalen.
6. Het apparaat uitzetten als men klaar is met de werkzaamheden door te drukken
op de knop Aan / Uit (5).
OPMERKING: als men de lade (1) weghaalt of de goot (3) optilt, zal het apparaat tot
stilstand komen (figuur 6).
Om het apparaat makkelijk schoon te kunnen maken, geen productenrestjes in de lade of
op de raspschijf laten zitten.
VERVANGEN VAN DE SCHIJF
Drukken op het uiteinde van de hendel (4), trekken aan de sluitsleutel (14) en het geheel
eraf halen, goot + hendel optillen om bij de schijf (6) te kunnen komen (figuur 2).
DEMONTEREN (spoed naar links ): (figuur 3)
De schijf stilzetten (6) en de schroef (7) losdraaien in de richting van de pijl (met
de klok mee), met de sluitsleutel (14).
OPNIEUW MONTEREN: (figuur 4)
Kijken op de spie (8) op de motoras gemonteerd is.
Controleren of de afdichting (13) is aangebracht op de schijf (6).
De schijf op de motoras plaatsen waarbij de spie in de spiegroef moet vallen.
De schijf (6) vasthouden en de schroef (7) aandraaien in de richting van de pijl
(tegen de klok in).
AFSTELLING IJSBLOKJESBREKER: (figuur 5)
De stand van het mes van de ijsblokjesmolen kan bijgesteld worden door de 2 schroeven
(9) van de bevestiging van het mes (10) op zijn steun (11) los te draaien en het te
verplaatsen om de snijhoogte in het ijsblokje op te voeren of te verminderen. De 2
schroeven (9) naar behoren aandraaien na de afstelling.

BEVEILIGING TOEGANGS WERKTUIGEN: (figuur 6)
Het apparaat kan pas starten als de hendel (4) niet uit zijn voedingsmiddelen invoergoot
is gegaan (3) en als de lade voor het opvangen van de voedingsmiddelen (1) naar
behoren is gepositioneerd op de geleiding (2).
Als men de lade (1) verwijdert zal de machine tot stilstand komen. Om het apparaat dan
weer op te kunnen starten moet men opnieuw de schakelaar Aan / Uit (5) activeren
(stand 1).
In geval van stroomonderbreking zal de machine ook tot stilstand komen (stand 0) via de
schakelaar Aan / Uit (5).
Als men de hendel optilt om nieuwe producten toe te voegen in de goot (3) zal de motor
afslaan zonder de machine in haar geheel tot stilstand te brengen.
De hendel (4) laten zakken om de motor opnieuw in werking te stellen.
VEILIGHEIDSINRICHTING OVERBELASTING MOTOR:
Als de motor geblokkeerd raakt (vreemd voorwerp, te hard voorwerp, te harde druk met
de fruitstamper op de te verwerken producten), zal de schakelaar Aan / Uit (5)
automatisch teruggaan naar stand 0.
De fout opheffen en opnieuw drukken op de schakelaar Aan / Uit (5) (stand 1).
Als de storing niet verdwijnt, het apparaat buiten spanning zetten (de steker van het
netsnoer uit de contactdoos halen) en er iemand van de onderhoudsdienst bijhalen of
contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS leverancier.
ONDERHOUD
Alvorens ingrepen te verrichten op het apparaat moet men absoluut eerst de steker van
het apparaat uit de contactdoos halen en de startcondensator van de motor ontladen:
Ontladen van de condensator:
Met behulp van een schroevedraaier met geïsoleerd heft de 2 aansluitingen van
de condensator (12) aanraken, als men een elektrische boog ziet wil dit zeggen
dat de condensator ontladen is.
Vervangingsdelen:
BELANGRIJK:Het is verboden andere dan door SANTOS verklaarde oorspronkelijke
vervangingsdelen te gebruiken.
Deze machine benodigt geen enkel specifiek onderhoud, de lagers zijn levenslang
gesmeerd.

Een ingreep is echter wel nodig om de aan slijtage onderhevige onderdelen te vervangen
zoals de elektrische componenten en de startcondensator en het startrelais. Zie hiervoor
de lijst van onderdelen van uw machine naar gelang de werkingsspanning van uw
apparaat (staat vermeld op de garantiebon die bij het apparaat wordt geleverd en op het
typeplaatje dat zich aan de onderkant van het apparaat bevindt of dat gedownload kan
worden op internet www.santos.fr).
Op de bestellingen van vervangingsonderdelen (zie referenties op de
explosietekening aan het einde van de handleiding), het volgende
aangeven:
het type,
het serienummer van het apparaat en
de elektrische karakteristieken die op het apparaat vermeld
staan.
De schijf in zijn geheel (6) kan worden beschouwd als een aan slijtage onderhevig
onderdeel.
Voor een goede werking van de machine is het aangeraden eveneens de goede staat
van de afdichting (13) te controleren en met name of de lip geen scheurtjes vertoont.
REINIGING
De machine niet schoonmaken mbv een waterstraal of hoge druk
reiniger
1. De machine uitzetten door de schakelaar Aan / Uit te activeren en de steker uit de
contactdoos halen .
2. Het geheel samengesteld uit de goot + de hendel en de raspschijf demonteren.
3. Dit geheel (goot + hendel + raspschijf) wassen evenals de lade met een
afwasmiddel, afspoelen, afdrogen en dan het geheel terug monteren.
4. Het frame met worden schoongemaakt met een vochtige spons en worden
afgedroogd. Af en toe opwrijven met een niet bijtend product voor ruiten of een
metaalschoonmaakmiddel.

OPHEFFEN VAN STORINGEN
De oorzaak van het tot stilstand komen van het apparaat nauwkeurig identificeren.
Het apparaat wil niet starten: (figuur 6)
De volgende punten controleren: de voeding via het stroomnet, de staat van het
netsnoer,
Controleren: de stand van de lade (1) op de geleiding (2), de stand van de hendel
(4) (niet meer dan 2 cm buiten de goot (3)).
Het apparaat komt tot stilstand naar aanleiding van een overbelasting:
- zie hoofdstuk "veiligheidsinrichting overbelasting motor"

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using, cleaning or maintaining the machine, always follow these instructions:
Read all instructions
IMPROPER USE:
1. Do not place food in the channel and press with the plunger before you have
started the machine.
2. Neither a hose nor a pressure hose should be used for cleaning.
3. For electrocution risk protection reasons, never plunge the base into water or
any other liquid.
4. Unplug the appliance before carrying out any work on it: cleaning,
maintenance or repair.
5. The use of spare parts other than certified SANTOS original parts is
prohibited.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
The appliance’s power supply is available in 3 voltages:
o 220-240V 50 Hz single phase

the first time.
RECYCLING THE PRODUCT AT THE END OF ITS SERVICE LIFE
This equipment is marked with the selective sorting symbol relating to
wastes from electrical and electronic equipment. It signifies that this
product should be taken over by a selective collection system conforming
to the Guideline 2002/96/EC (WEEE) – part Professional Equipment – so
that it can be either recycled or dismantled in order to reduce any impact on

INTRODUCTION
Grater N°2
Solidly built (cast aluminum and stainless steel sheet), equipped with an
unbreakable food-quality plastic drawer, grater No. 2 is particularly suited for
professional use: - Restaurants, Pizzerias, Cheese dairies, Supermarkets, Public
Bodies.
It has a powerful motor and a high output, stainless steel grating disc 110 mm in ø;
the average delivery of grated cheese is 50 kg/hr.
Normally supplied with a disc with holes of ø 3 mm for Gruyere, Grater no. 2 can be
used with other discs on request:
o discs with holes of ø 2, ø 4, ø 6 or ø 8 mm.
o special discs for Parmesan and cheese for fondues.
Grater no. 2 is also appropriate for grating almonds and hazelnuts or for making
breadcrumbs.
Ice crusher N°9
Designed in exactly the same way as Grater no. 2, Ice Crusher no. 9 only differs on
the following points:
o specific disc with an adjustable knife to crush the ice cubes,
o stainless steel sheet at the bottom of the drawer.

USING THE MACHINE
USING (figure 1)
1. Prepare the pieces of cheese to be grated (or the ice cubes) beforehand.
2. Make sure the drawer is correctly in place (1) (operating is servo-controlled by a
safety device linked to the drawer’s presence). For the ice crusher: place the
stainless steel sheet inside the drawer.
3. Start the machine by operating the On/Off button (5).
4. Lift up the lever (4), insert a piece of cheese to be grated (or ice cubes), and push
on the lever steadily without forcing.
5. Repeat the above procedure as many times as necessary.
6. After use, stop the machine by operating the On/Off Button (5).
COMMENT: removing the drawer (1) or lifting up the chute (3) stops the appliance from
working (figure 6).
For easier cleaning, do not leave food to dry in the drawer or on the grating disc.
CHANGING DISC
Push the end of the lever (4), pull on the closing key (14) and remove the chute + lever
unit to get to the disc (6) (figure 2).
TAKING APART (left-handed thread): (figure 3)
Clamp the disc (6) and undo the screw (7) following the arrow (clockwise) with the
closing key (14).
REASSEMBLING: (figure 4)
Check that the key (8) is present on the motor shaft.
Check that the seal (13) is present on the disc (6).
Place the disc on the motor shaft making the key match the key groove.
Clamp the disc (6) and tighten the screw (7) following the arrow (anti-clockwise).
ADJUSTING THE ICE CRUSHER: (figure 5)
It is possible to adjust the position of the knife on the ice crusher disc by loosening the 2
fastening screws (9) fixing the knife (10) onto its support (11) and by moving it to
increase or to reduce the cutting height of the knife into the ice cube.
Tighten the 2 screws (9) carefully after adjusting.

The appliance can only start if the lever (4) is not extending out of the chute to insert the
food (3) and if the drawer catching the food (1) is correctly placed on the slideway (2).
Removing the drawer (1) causes the machine to stop. Re-starting the appliance requires
specific operation of the On / Off switch (5) again (position 1).
A cut in the mains power supply results in the On / Off switch (5) stopping (position 0).
The fact of lifting the lever to add food into the chute (3) causes the motor to stop, without
causing the appliance to stop completely.
Lowering the lever (4) allows the motor to be restarted.
MOTOR OVERLOAD SAFETY FEATURE:
Should the motor become blocked (foreign body, object that is too hard, too much
pressure with the lever on the products being processed), the On / Off switch (5)
automatically trips to the 0 position.
Correct the problem and press the On / Off switch (5) (position 1).
If the problem persists, switch off the power supply to the machine (unplug the cord from
the mains socket) and call in the maintenance service or contact a SANTOS approved
dealer.
MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any work on the appliance, it must in all cases be unplugged from the
mains power supply and the motor start capacitor discharged:
Discharging the capacitor:
Use a screwdriver with insulated handle to touch the 2 connectors on the capacitor
(12). The appearance of an electric arc shows that the capacitor has discharged.
Spare parts:
IMPORTANT:Use of spare parts other than certified original SANTOS parts is prohibited
This machine requires no specific maintenance. The bearings are lubricated for life.
If work is required to replace worn parts such as start relay or the electric or other
components, refer to the parts list (see exploded view at the end of the manual or which
you can download from our website www.santos.fr).

For all spare part orders (see references in the exploded view at the end of the
manual), state:
the type,
the machine serial number and
the electrical specifications recorded under the machine.
The complete disc (6) can be considered to be a part subject to wear.
For the machine to operate properly, it is recommended that a check is also made that
the seal (13) is in good condition, in particular the absence of any signs of tearing of the
lip.
CLEANING
The appliance should neither be cleaned in a jet of water nor with a
high pressure spray.
1. Put the appliance on stop position by pushing the On/Off button and disconnect
the plug.
2. Remove the chute + lever assembly and the grating disk.
3. Wash the chute + lever assembly, the grating disc and the drawer with washing-up
detergent, rinse, dry and reassemble the unit.
4. The frame is to be sponged clean then dried. Polish from time to time with a non-
abrasive product for windows or a cleaning agent for metal.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

PRESENTATION
RAPE N°2
D’une construction robuste (fonte d’aluminium et tôle en acier inoxydable), munie
d’un tiroir en plastique alimentaire incassable, la râpe N° 2 est particulièrement
adaptée à un usage professionnel : - Restaurants, Pizzerias, Fromageries, Grandes
Surfaces, Collectivités
Dotée d’un moteur puissant et d’un disque de râpe d’un ø 110 mm à grand
rendement en acier inoxydable, le débit moyen de râpé est de 50 kg/h.
Livrée normalement avec un disque à trous de ø 3 mm pour le gruyère, la râpe N° 2
peut être utilisée avec d'autres disques sur demande :
o disques à trous de ø 2, ø 4, ø 6 ou ø 8 mm.
o disques spéciaux pour Parmesan et fromage à fondue.
La râpe N° 2 est également bien adaptée pour râper les amandes, noisettes ou
pour réaliser de la chapelure.
BROYEUR A GLACONS N°9
De conception identique à la râpe n° 2, le broyeur à glaçons n° 9 diffère uniquement
sur les points suivants :
o disque spécifique pourvu d'un couteau réglable pour briser les glaçons.
o tôle en acier inox placée dans le fond du tiroir

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
UTILISATION (figure 1)
1. Préparer à l’avance les morceaux de fromage à râper (ou les glaçons).
2. S’assurer de la bonne mise en place du tiroir (1) (le fonctionnement est asservi à
une sécurité de présence du tiroir). Pour le broyeur à glaçons : placer la tôle en
inox à l’intérieur du tiroir.
3. Mettre l’appareil en marche en agissant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt (5).
4. Relever le levier (4), introduire un morceau de fromage à râper (ou glaçons). et
pousser sur le levier régulièrement sans effort excessif.
5. Recommencer l’opération autant de fois que nécessaire.
6. Arrêter l’appareil en fin d’utilisation en agissant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt (5).
REMARQUE : le retrait du tiroir (1) ou le relevage de la goulotte (3) arrête le
fonctionnement de l’appareil (figure 6).
Pour une plus grande facilité de nettoyage, ne pas laisser sécher de denrées dans le
tiroir ou sur le disque de râpe.
CHANGEMENT DE DISQUE
Pousser sur l’extrémité du levier (4), tirer sur la clé de fermeture (14) et déposer
l'ensemble goulotte + levier pour accéder au disque (6) (figure 2).
DEMONTAGE (pas à gauche) : (figure 3)
Immobiliser le disque (6) et dévisser la vis (7) suivant la flèche (sens des aiguilles
d’une montre), avec la clé de fermeture (14).
REMONTAGE : (figure 4)
Vérifier la présence de la clavette (8) sur l’axe moteur.
Vérifier la présence du joint (13) sur le disque (6).
Placer le disque sur l’axe moteur en faisant coïncider la clavette avec la rainure
de clavette.
Immobiliser le disque (6) et visser la vis (7) suivant le sens de la flèche (sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre).
REGLAGE DU BRISE GLACE : (figure 5)
Il est possible d'ajuster la position du couteau du disque du broyeur à glaçons en
desserrant les 2 vis (9) de fixation du couteau (10) sur son support (11) et en le
déplaçant pour augmenter ou réduire la hauteur de coupe du couteau dans le glaçon.
Bien resserrer les 2 vis (9) après réglage.

SECURITE ACCES AUX OUTILS : (figure 6)
L'appareil ne peut démarrer que si le levier (4) n'est pas sorti de la goulotte d'introduction
des aliments (3) et si le tiroir de récupération des aliments (1) est correctement
positionné sur la glissière (2).
Le retrait du tiroir (1) provoque l’arrêt de la machine. La remise en marche de l'appareil
nécessite une nouvelle action volontaire sur l’interrupteur Marche /Arrêt (5) (position 1).
Une rupture d’alimentation du secteur provoque l’arrêt (position 0) de l’interrupteur
Marche / Arrêt (5).
Le fait de relever le levier pour ajouter des aliments dans la goulotte (3) provoque l'arrêt
du moteur, sans pour autant provoquer l'arrêt complet de l'appareil.
Baisser le levier (4) permet de remettre en route le moteur.
SECURITE SURCHARGE MOTEUR :
En cas de blocage du moteur (corps étranger, corps trop dur, effort de pression avec le
levier sur les produits traités trop important), l’interrupteur Marche / Arrêt (5) bascule
automatiquement en position 0.
Remédier au défaut, et appuyer sur l’interrupteur Marche / Arrêt (5) (position 1).
Si le problème persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise de cordon
secteur) et faire intervenir une personne du service de maintenance ou contacter un
revendeur agréé SANTOS.
MAINTENANCE
Avant toute intervention sur l'appareil, il est impératif de le débrancher du secteur et de
décharger le condensateur de démarrage du moteur :
Décharge du condensateur :
A l'aide d'un tournevis à manche isolé, toucher les 2 connexions du condensateur
(12), la visualisation d'un arc électrique prouve la décharge du condensateur.
Pièces détachées :
IMPORTANT : Il est interdit d’utiliser des pièces de rechanges autres que celles d’origine
certifiées SANTOS
Cette machine ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier, les roulements sont graissés à
vie.

Si une intervention est nécessaire pour remplacer les pièces d'usure telles que la râpe, le
panier, les composants électriques ou autres, se reporter à la liste des composants (voir
la vue éclatée en fin de manuel ou à télécharger sur internet www.santos.fr ).
Pour toute commande de pièces détachées (voir références sur la vue
éclatée en fin de manuel), préciser :
le type,
le numéro de série de l’appareil
les caractéristiques électriques notées sous l'appareil.
Le disque complet (6) peut être considéré comme une pièce d’usure.
Pour un bon fonctionnement de la machine, il est recommandé de vérifier également le
bon état du joint d'étanchéité (13) et en particulier l’absence de toute trace de
déchirement de la lèvre.
NETTOYAGE
Le nettoyage au jet d'eau et sous pression n'est pas autorisé
1. Mettre l’appareil en position arrêt en agissant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt et
débrancher la fiche prise de courant.
2. Déposer l’ensemble goulotte + levier et le disque de râpe.
3. Laver l’ensemble goulotte + levier, le disque de râpe ainsi que le tiroir avec un
détergent pour vaisselle, rincer, sécher et remonter l’ensemble.
4. Le bâti sera nettoyé à l’éponge humide puis séché. Polir occasionnellement avec
un produit non abrasif pour les vitres ou un nettoyant pour métal.

AIDE AU DEPANNAGE
Identifier avec précision la cause de l'arrêt de l'appareil.
L'appareil ne démarre pas : (figure 6)
Contrôler : l'alimentation secteur, l'état du cordon d'alimentation,
Contrôler : la position du tiroir (1) sur sa glissière (2), la position du levier (4) (pas
plus de 2 cm à l'extérieur de la goulotte (3)).
L'appareil s'arrête suite à une surcharge :

Depuis le 01.01.95, tous nos appareils sont conformes CE et revêtus du label CE. Notre garantie
est de douze mois à partir de la date de fabrication figurant sur la plaque signalétique. La garantie
est strictement limitée au remplacement gratuit de toute pièce d'origine reconnue par nous
défectueuse à la suite d'un défaut ou d'un vice de construction et identifiée comme appartenant à
l'appareil considéré. Elle ne s'applique pas aux avaries résultant d'une installation ou d'une utilisation
non-conforme aux prescriptions accompagnant chaque appareil (manuel d'utilisation) ou dans le cas
d'un manque évident d'entretien ou de non observation des règles élémentaires de sécurité
électriques. La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas d’usure naturelle. Tout remplacement de pièce
sous garantie est effectué après renvoi de la pièce défectueuse en nos ateliers en port payé,
accompagnée d'une copie de la Déclaration de conformité sur laquelle figure le numéro de série
de l'appareil. Tout appareil est muni d'une plaque signalétique conforme CE et dont un double
figure dans la Déclaration de conformité (N° de série, date de fabrication, caractéristiques
électriques…). En cas d'avarie grave jugée réparable uniquement dans nos ateliers, et après
accord préalable de nos services, tout appareil sous garantie est expédié par le Distributeur en
port payé. En cas de réparation ou reconditionnement d'appareil hors garantie, le transport aller-
retour est à la charge du Distributeur. Les pièces et main-d’oeuvre sont facturées aux tarifs en
vigueur (tarif pièces détachées – tarif horaire – main-d’oeuvre). Il peut être fourni un devis préalable.
Les moulins à café non munis de meules originales SANTOS ne sont pas pris sous garantie. Les
conditions de garantie, réparation, reconditionnement, des moulins à café espresso font l’objet d’une
notice spécifique. Notre garantie ne s’étend pas au paiement de pénalités, à la réparation des
préjudices directs ou indirects et notamment à tout manque à gagner résultant de la non-conformité
ou défectuosité des produits, la responsabilité globale de SANTOS étant limitée au prix de vente du
produit livré et à l’éventuelle réparation des produits défectueux.
En cas de révélation d'une défectuosité pendant la période de garantie, le Distributeur doit, sauf
accord contraire écrit de SANTOS, indiquer à son client, de cesser toute utilisation du produit
défectueux. Une telle utilisation dégagerait SANTOS de toute responsabilité.

Die vorliegende europäische Norm ist eine Norm vom Typ C, wie in der EN ISO 12100 definiert.
Falls die Bestimmungen der vorliegenden Norm vom Typ C sich von den Bestimmungen
unterscheiden, die in den Normen vom Typ A oder B genannt werden, haben die Bestimmungen
der Norm vom Typ C vor denen der anderen Normen Vorrang. Die vorliegende Norm ermöglicht
es, sich an die Anforderungen der „Maschinenrichtlinie“ Nr. 2006/42/EG, (siehe Anhang ZA)
anzupassen.

WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Wie bei allen anderen elektrischen Geräten, sind auch bei der Verwendung dieses
Gerätes folgende Sicherheitshinweise zu beachten:

Hinweis: Zum leichteren Verständnis der folgenden Abschnitte verweisen wir auf
die Abbildungen am Ende des Handbuches.
SACHWIDRIGER EINSATZ:
1. Keine Lebensmittel mit dem Stößel in den Einfüllstutzen drücken, bevor die
Maschine läuft
2. Das Reinigen unter einem Wasserstrahl oder mit Hochdruck ist nicht
zulässig.
3. Den Sockel nie in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigkeit tauchen, um
Stromschläge zu vermeiden.
4. Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät den Netzstecker ziehen (Reinigung, Pflege,
Wartung).
5. Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet werden.
ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS:
Das Netzteil des Gerätes ist für 3 Netzspannungen erhältlich
o 220-240V 50 Hz Wechselstrom
o 220-240V 60 Hz Wechselstrom
o 110-120V 50/60 Hz Wechselstrom
Leitungsschutz: das Gerät muss an eine Standardsteckdose mit 2 Polen + Erdung
angeschlossen werden. Die Anlage muss durch einen
Fehlerstromschutzschalter und eine 16 A Sicherung geschützt sein. Die
Erdung des Geräts ist Pflicht.
ACHTUNG:
Vor dem Anschluss des Geräts die Übereinstimmung der Spannung der
Stromversorgung mit der Gerätespannung überprüfen. Der Wert ist abzulesen:
entweder auf dem Typenschild unter dem Gerät,
oder auf dem Typenschild auf der letzten Seite dieses Handbuchs.
Wenn das Stromkabel beschädigt ist, muss es durch einen speziellen Bausatz
ersetzt werden, der bei der Firma SANTOS oder einem SANTOS
Vertragshändler erhältlich ist.

ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME:
Vorsichtshalber die Schublade (1) und die Scheibe (6) vor dem ersten Gebrauch
waschen.
RECYCLING DES ALTGERÄTS
Das Gerät ist mit dem Symbol für die Mülltrennung elektrischer und
elektronischer Geräte gekennzeichnet. Das bedeutet, dass das Produkt
gemäß der Richtlinie 2002/96/EG (Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte) –
Abschnitt Gewerblich genutzte Geräte – von einer Mülltrennungsfirma
übernommen werden muss, um entweder recycelt oder zerlegt zu werden
und schädliche Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu vermeiden.
Für nähere Informationen kontaktieren Sie Ihren Händler oder das Unternehmen

Zur Entsorgung und zum Recycling der Bauteile des Geräts wenden Sie sich bitte an
einen Fachbetrieb oder an das Unternehmen SANTOS.
Elektronikartikel, die nicht einer Mülltrennung unterzogen wurden, können die Umwelt
gefährden.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien müssen gemäß den geltenden Bestimmungen vernichtet

DARSTELLUNG
REIBE Nr. 2
Die Reibe Nr. 2 eignet sich dank ihrer soliden Bauweise (aus Aluminiumguß und
rostfreiem Edelstahlblech) und ihrer Schublade aus unzerbrechlichem
lebensmitteltauglichen Kunststoff besonders gut für den professionellen Einsatz:
Restaurants, Pizzerias, Käsegeschäfte, Supermärkte, Großküchen
Sie ist mit einem kräftigen Motor und einer Reibscheibe hoher Leistung von ø 110
mm aus rostfreiem Edelstahl ausgerüstet, wodurch ihr durchschnittliches
Reibvolumen bei 50 kg/h liegt.
Die normalerweise samt Scheibe mit Löchern von ø 3 mm für Schweizer Käse
gelieferte Reibe Nr. 2 kann auf Wunsch auch in Verbindung mit anderen Scheiben
eingesetzt werden:
o Scheiben mit Löchern von ø 2, ø 4, ø 6 oder ø 8 mm.
o Spezialscheiben für Parmesan und Fondue-Käse.
Die Reibe Nr. 2 eignet sich außerdem ausgezeichnet zum Reiben von Mandeln,
Haselnüssen oder zur Herstellung von Paniermehl.
EISZERKLEINERER Nr. 9
Der Eiszerkleinerer von gleicher Bauweise wie die Reibe Nr. 2 unterscheidet sich
lediglich in folgenden Punkten:
o spezielle Scheibe mit einstellbarem Messer zum Zerkleinern der Eisstücke.
o Blech aus rostfreiem Edelstahlblech auf Schubladenboden

GEBRAUCH DES GERÄTS
BETRIEB (Abbildung 1)
1. Die zu verarbeitenden Käsestücke (oder Eisstücke) vorbereiten.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, daß die Schublade (1) richtig geschlossen ist (der Betrieb
wird durch die Sicherheitseinrichtung der Schubladenerkennung angesteuert). Für
den Eiszerkleinerer: das Edelstahlblech in die Schublade einsetzen.
3. Das Gerät durch Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters (5) starten.
4. Den Hebel (4) anheben, ein Stück zu reibenden Käse (oder Eisstücke) einfüllen
und den Hebel gleichmäßig ohne übermäßige Kraftanwendung herunterdrücken.
5. Diesen Arbeitsgang sooft wie nötig wiederholen.
6. Das Gerät bei Ende des Betriebs durch Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters (5)
abschalten.
HINWEIS: das Herausziehen der Schublade (1) oder das Hochschwenken des
Einfüllschachtes (3) stoppt den Betrieb des Gerätes (Abbildung 6).
Zur leichteren Reinigung Nahrungsmittelreste nicht in der Schublade oder auf der
Reibscheibe antrocknen lassen.
AUSWECHSELN DER SCHEIBE
Auf das Ende des Hebels (4) drücken, den Verschlusshebel (14) zurückziehen und den
Einfüllschacht samt Hebel abnehmen, um Zugang zur Scheibe (6) zu erhalten (Abbildung
2).
AUSBAU (Linksgewinde) : (Abbildung 3)
Die Scheibe (6) festsetzen und die Schraube (7) in Pfeilrichtung (im
Uhrzeigersinn) mit dem Verschlusshebel (14) herausschrauben.
WIEDEREINBAU: (Abbildung 4)
Überprüfen, ob sich die Passfeder (8) auf der Motorwelle befindet.
Überprüfen ob sich die Dichtung (13) auf der Scheibe (6) befindet.
Die Scheibe auf die Motorwelle aufsetzen, wobei die Paßfeder in ihrer Nut sitzen
muß.
Die Scheibe (6) festsetzen und die Schraube (7) in Pfeilrichtung (gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn) einschrauben.
EINSTELLUNG DES EISZERKLEINERERS: (Abbildung 5)
Es ist möglich, die Position des Messers auf der Scheibe des Eiszerkleinerers
einzustellen, indem man die 2 Befestigungsschrauben (9) des Messers (10) auf seinem
Halter (11) löst und es zum Höher- oder Tieferstellen der Schnitts des Messers am
Eisstück verschiebt.
Die 2 Schrauben (9) nach der Einstellung wieder gut festziehen.

SICHERHEITSEINRICHTUNG ZUM SCHUTZ VOR WERKZEUGEN: (Abbildung 6)
Das Gerät kann nur gestartet werden, wenn der Hebel (4) nicht aus dem Einfüllschacht
herausgeschwenkt ist und die Schublade zum Auffangen der Nahrungsmittel (1) richtig
auf der Gleitschiene (2) positioniert ist.
Das Herausziehen der Schublade (1) verursacht das Abschalten der Maschine. Der
Neustart des Gerätes erfordert die erneute bewußte Betätigung des Ein-/Ausschalters (5)
(Position 1).
Der Ausfall der Netzspannung verursacht das Abschalten (Position 0) des Ein-
/Ausschalters (5).
Das Anheben des Hebels zum Einfüllen von Nahrungsmitteln in den Einfüllschacht (3)
verursacht den Stop des Motors, ohne jedoch das Gerät vollständig auszuschalten.
Das Absenken des Hebels (4) ermöglicht das Wiederanlaufen des Motors.
SICHERHEIT BEI ÜBERLASTUNG DES MOTORS:
Wenn der Motor blockiert (Fremdkörper, zu harter Gegenstand, mittels Hebel auf die
Nahrungsmittel ausgeübter Druck ist zu groß), springt der Ein-/Ausschalter (5)
automatisch auf Position 0.
Den Fehler beheben, und den Ein-/Ausschalter (5) (Position 1) drücken.
Wenn das Problem weiter besteht, das Gerät ausschalten (Netzstecker (10) ziehen) und
einen Wartungsmechaniker oder SANTOS Vertragshändler einschalten.
WARTUNG
Vor jedem Eingriff an der Zentrifuge muss das Gerät vom Netz genommen werden und
der Anfahrkondensator des Motors entladen werden:
Entladen des Kondensators
Mit Hilfe eines am Griff isolierten Schraubenziehers die beiden Anschlüsse des
Kondensators (12) berühren, das Auftreten eines Lichtbogens belegt die
Entladung des Kondensators. Abb. 14
Ersatzteile
WICHTIG: Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet
werden.

Die Maschine ist weitgehend wartungsfrei, die Rollager sind lebenslang geschmiert.
Verschleißteile hingegen, z.B. die elektrischen Bauteile wie Anfahrkondensator und
Anfahrrelais müssen ausgetauscht werden siehe die Liste der Bauteile

Bei allen Bestellungen von Ersatzteilen (Artikelnummern siehe Explosionszeichnung
am Ende des Handbuchs) bitte folgende Angaben unter dem Gerät ablesen und
mitteilen:
den Typ,
die Seriennummer des Geräts und
die unter dem Gerät angebrachten elektrischen Kenndaten.
Die gesamte Scheibe (6) kann als Verschleißteil betrachtet werden.

Zum störungsfreien Betrieb der Maschine wird empfohlen, den einwandfreien Zustand
der Dichtung (13) zu überprüfen und hierbei insbesondere darauf zu achten, daß die
Dichtlippe keinerlei Zerreißspuren aufweist.
REINIGUNG
Das Reinigen unter einem Wasserstrahl oder mit Hochdruck ist
nicht zulässig.

1. Das Gerät durch Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters auf Aus stellen und den
Netzstecker herausziehen.
2. Den Einfüllschacht samt Hebel und Reibscheibe abbauen.
3. Einfüllschacht samt Hebel und Reibscheibe sowie die Schublade mit einem
Geschirrspülmittel reinigen, abspülen, trocknen und beide wieder einbauen.
4. Das Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Schwamm reinigen und danach abtrocknen.
Gelegentlich mit einem nicht scheuernden Glasreiniger oder einem
Metallreinigungsmittel polieren.

Prüfen: Stromversorgung über das Netz, Zustand des Stromkabels;
Überprüfen: Position der Schublade (1) auf ihrer Gleitschiene (2), Position des
Hebels (4) (nicht mehr als 2 cm außerhalb des Einfüllschachtes (3)).

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.
