Gebruikte Europese ge harmoniseerde normen om vermoeden te geven van overe enstemming
met de essentiële eisen van de hierboven vermelde richtlijnen:
NF EN 1678+A1 : 2010, Machines voor voedingsmiddelen – Groentesnijder.
Voorschriften met betrekking tot de veiligheid en de hygiëne.
Deze Europese Norm is een norm van het type C zoals gedefinieerd in de EN ISO 12100. In het
geval de bepalingen van deze norm van het type C verschillen van de be palingen vermeld in de
normen van het type A of B, preval eren de bepalingen van de norm van het type C over de
bepalingen van de andere normen. Deze norm verschaft de middelen om te voldoen aan de eisen
van de “machines” Richtlijn nummer 2006/42/CE, (zie bijlage ZA)

IJSBLOKMOLEN N°53
De ijsblokmolen N° 53 is bestemd voor bars, cafe’s, hotels, restaurants, nachtclubs.
Het apparaat is s amengesteld uit een molenlichaam van plastic voorz ien van
messen van roestvrij staal, een doorzichtig plastic reservoir met een inhoud van 1,3
kg en een standaard ijsbak.
Het apparaat maakt het mogelijk ijsblokjes (kubusvormig of cilindervormig) te malen
gemaakt door de traditionele ijsblokmachines.
Het apparaat is voorzien van een vertr agingsdrijfwerk met planeetwie len en een
asynchroon motor bestuurd door een elektronische kaart.
Het apparaat maakt het mogelijk twee ver schillende groottes fijngestampt ijs te
vervaardigen.
LET OP :
Bij het hanteren, en dus ook bij het uitpakken van de machine, is het verboden
het apparaat beet te pakken of op te tillen aan het vergrendelingshandvat (2) van
het deksel (1). (fig. A)
RECYCLAGE VAN HET PRODUCT AAN HET EINDE VAN DE LEVENSDUUR
Dit apparaat is voorzien van het symbool van de selectieve sortering
betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit
betekent dat dit pr oduct verwerkt moet worden door een selectief
inzamelingssysteem conform de rich tlijn 2002/96/CE (WEEE) – deel
Professionele Apparaten – zodat het gerecycleerd of uit elkaar gehaald kan
worden om de impact ervan op het milieu te verminderen.
Voor meer informatie kunt u contact opnemen met uw verdeler of met SANTOS.
Voor de verwijdering of de recyclage van de componenten van het apparaat, gelieve
contact op te nemen met een gespecialiseerde maatschappij of met SANTOS.
De elektronische producten die niet selec tief gesorteerd zijn, kunnen m ogelijks een
gevaar betekenen voor het milieu.
De verpakkingsmaterialen moet en verwijderd en gerecycleerd worden conform de
geldende wetgeving.
LET OP:
Controleren of het deksel (1) in de gesloten stand staat alvorens de steker van
het netsnoer (10) in het contactblok van uw stroomnet te steken. (fig. B)

WAARSCHUWINGEN:
1. Dit apparaat mag alleen gebruikt worden om kubusvormige of
cilindervormige ijsblokjes te malen waarvan de afmetingen ten
hoogste 30x30x30mm bedragen.
2. Dit apparaat niet gebruiken om diepvriesproducten te malen.
3. Geen voorwerpen steken in de uitvoeropening (9) van het
fijngestampte ijs.
INSTALLATIE, HANTERING
Een enkel persoon kan het apparaat hanteren. Voor een optimaal gebruikscomfort is het
aangeraden het apparaat op een tafel of een werkblad te plaatsen zodat het
bedieningspaneel tegenover u st aat (aangeraden hoogte : 90 cm, aan te passen naar
gelang de gebruiker).
ELEKTRISCHE AANSLUITING
De voeding van het apparaat is beschikbaar in 2 enkel fase voltages :
- 110-120 V, 50/60 Hz : model 53V1
- 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz : model 53
Lijnbescherming : het apparaat moet worden aangesloten op een standaard contactdoos
2 polen + aarde. De installatie moet voorts beschermd worden door een differentiaal
lastschakelaar en een zekering met een kaliber van 16A. De aarding van het apparaat
is verplicht.
LET OP:
Alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten, controleren of de spanning van het
stroomnet overeenkomt met deze van uw apparaat. Deze waarde staat vermeld:
op het typeplaatje (16) dat onder aan het apparaat is aangebracht.

GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
1ste IN WERKING STELLING
De onderdelen die in contact met de ijsb lokjes komen naar behor en schoonmaken
(fig. A).
Het handvat van het deksel ( 2) samenknijpen om het te ontgrendelen, het optillen
om bij het reservoir (3) van de ijsblokjes te komen. Het deksel (1), het réservoir (3),
de ijsbak ( 6) schoonmaken met een niet schurende spons en een normaal
afwasmiddel.
OPSTARTEN
Montage en voorbereiding (fig. A)
1. De druipbak (8) en zijn rooster (7) onder het molenlichaam (9) plaatsen.
GEBRUIK
1. Het apparaat onder spanning zetten door de steker van het netsnoer (10) in de
contactdoos te steken.
2. De ijsbak (6) met ijsblokjes vullen (zie contra-indicaties)
3. De inhoud van de ijsbak in het ijsblokreservoir (3) gieten (fig. C)
4. Het deksel van het reservoir (1) dicht doen en vergrendelen.
5. De ijsbak (zonder het deksel) op de druipbak (8) plaatsen (fig. D).
6. Drukken op de knop die overeenkomt met de gewenste grootte van het
fijngestampte ijs.
Met de linker knop (5) verkrijgt men heel fijn fijngestampt ijs.
Met de rechter knop (4) verkrijgt men grof fijngestampt ijs.
7. (Het fijngestampte ijs valt in de ijsbak) (fig. E).
STOPPEN VAN HET APPARAAT
Om het apparaat te stoppen, als volgt te werk gaan :
1. ofwel drukken op de drukknop van de grootte van het fijngestampte ijs
die men heeft gebruikt « knop brandt » (4 of 5),
2. ofwel het deksel opendoen (1).
3. ofwel de steker uit de contactdoos halen (10)
KIEZEN VAN DE GROOTTE VAN HET FIJNGESTAMPTE IJS
Dit apparaat benodigt geen enkele instelling.
Met de linker knop (5) verkrijgt men heel fijn fijngestampt ijs.
Met de rechter knop (4) verkrijgt men grof fijngestampt ijs.

GEBRUIK IN HANDMATIGE OF AUTOMATISCHE MODUS
Handmatige modus
Als men lang drukt op één van de knoppen (4 of 5) gaat de handmatige modus van
start. De motor blijft draaien zolang men de knop ingedrukt houdt en stopt als men hem
loslaat.
Automatische modus
Als men kort drukt op een van de knoppen (4 of 5) gaat de automatische modus van
start. De motor draait gedurende een geprogrammeerde tijdsduur (1 minuut) en komt dan
tot stilstand.
Opmerking : de tijdklok kan niet bijgesteld worden. De vooringestelde tijdsduur komt
overeen met een volledige maalcyclus van 1.3 kg ijs (maximale inhoud van de trechter).
Tijdens de werking van de automatische cyclus, zal het apparaat tot stilstand komen als
men kort drukt op de knop van de grootte van het fijngestampte ijs waarop men heeft
gedrukt om de cyclus in werking te zetten (knop brandt) (de tijdklok wordt geïnitialiseerd).
Als men tijdens de werking van de automatische cyclus kort drukt op de knop van de
andere grootte van het fijngestampte ijs dat wordt gemaakt (knop brandt NIET), wordt
de rest van het ijs in deze nieuwe grootte fijngestampt zonder dat de tijdklok opnieuw op
geïnitialiseerd.
Als men tijdens de werking van de automatische cyclus het deksel opent (1), komt de
motor tot stilstand.
Als men het deksel (1) dan weer dichtdoet, gaat de motor weer van start. De cyclus gaat
verder daar waar hij was gestopt op het moment dat men het deksel opende (geen
initialisering van de tijdklok bij het openen / sluiten van het deksel).
REINIGEN
BELANGRIJK :
Altijd en immer eerst het apparaat stoppen en de steker van het
netsnoer van het apparaat (10) uit de contactdoos halen.
Het apparaat niet schoonmaken met een waterstraal of onder hoge
druk.

BEVEILIGING OVERBELASTING MOTOR
Als de motor geblokkeerd raakt (vreemd voorwerp, te hard voorwerp) zal het apparaat 2
maal achter elkaar de draairichting van de messen omkeren om het betreffende harde
voorwerp te kunnen verwerken. Dan gaat het verder met de normale cyclus. Als dez e
twee omkeringen van de draairichting het niet mogelijk maken om het probleem op t e
lossen zal het apparaat in de beveiliging springen en komt de motor tot stilstand.
Dit wordt dan gematerialis eerd doordat de twee drukken ( 4) en ( 5) tegelijkertijd gaan
knipperen.
In dit geval : Om het probleem op te lossen : het vreemde voorwerp uit het molenlichaam
halen en het apparaat opnieuw initia liseren (de twee drukknoppen ( 4) en ( 5) tegelijk 2
seconden ingedrukt houden).
Als het pr obleem niet verdwijnt, de steker (10) uit de contactdoos halen en de hulp
inroepen van de onderhoudsdi enst of contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS
leverancier.
BEVEILIGING OVERVERHITTING MOTOR
Als de motor oververhit raakt, stop het apparaat automatisch.
De beveiligingsinrichting wordt automatisch opnieuw ingeschakeld, wachten tot de motor
is afgekoeld (15 tot 30 minuten) alvorens de machine opnieuw op te starten.
Als het pr obleem niet verdwijnt, de steker (10) uit de contactdoos halen en de hulp
inroepen van de onderhoudsdi enst of contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS
leverancier.
BEVEILIGING TOEGANG WERKTUIGEN
Het apparaat kan alleen opstarten als het deksel (1) gesloten is.
Als men het deksel (1) opent, komen de machine en de draaiende onderdelen tot
stilstand.
De machine gaat weer van start zodra men het deksel dicht doet (1).
Als de voeding via het stroomnet wordt onderbroken, komt de machine tot
stilstand.
Om de machine dan opnieuw aan te zetten moet men drukken op één van de 2
drukknoppen (4) of (5).
Veiligheidshalve is het verboden een v inger of de hand te stek en in de uitvoeropening
van het fijngestampte ijs, zelfs als deze opening is verstopt door een opeenhoping van
fijngestampt ijs. Zie in dit geval het hoofdstuk « oplossen van storingen »

ONDERHOUD
Voor iedere ingreep op het apparaat m oet men absoluut eerst de steker uit
de contactdoos halen en de startcondensor van de motor ontladen.
Vervangingsdelen
BELANGRIJK : Het is verboden andere dan door SANTOR verklaarde
oorspronkelijke vervangingsdelen te gebruiken.
Deze machine benodigt geen enkel s peciaal onderhoud, de lager s zijn levens lang
gesmeerd. Zie, indien een ingreep toch noodzakelij k is om aan slijtage onderhav ige
onderdelen te vervangen zoals de molenmessen, de elektrische onderdelen enz.., de lijst
van onderdelen (zie explosietekening aan het eind van de handleiding).
Aangeven op alle bestellingen voor vervangingsdelen (zie referenties op de
explosietekening aan het eind van de handleiding) :
het type,
het serienummer van het apparaat ,
de elektrische karakteristieken (16) die onderaan het apparaat staan vermeld.
OPLOSSEN VAN STORINGEN
De oorzaak van het stoppen van het apparaat nauwkeurig lokaliseren.
In ieder geval, als de storing niet verdwijnt, het apparaat buiten spanning zetten (de steker
van het netsnoer ( 10) uit de contactdoos halen) en de hulp inroepen van de
onderhoudsdienst of contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS leverancier.
Het apparaat wil niet opstarten
Controleren : de voeding via het stroomnet, de staat van het netsnoer (10).
Controleren of het lic htgevende controlelampje dat zich bevindt bij de afvoer van
het molenlichaam ( 9) een tiental seconden brandt als men het apparaat op het
stroomnet aansluit.
Controleren of er geen vreemde voorwerpen vast zitten tussen de messen.
In het apparaat de staat van de elektrische draden en de aansluitingen (ten hoogte
van de draaddoorvoer (13), van het aansluitblok (13) controleren. (fig. F)
De elektrische componenten controleren door ze de een na de ander te vervangen
(condensor, beveiliging deksel, elektronisch moduul, motor).

Het apparaat komt tot stilstand naar aanleiding van een verhitting van de motor
(het motorblok is warm)
Als de motor oververhit raakt, zal het apparaat automatisch tot stilstand komen.
De beveiligingsinrichting wordt automatisch opnieuw ingeschakeld, wachten tot de motor
is afgekoeld (15 tot 30 minuten) alvorens de machine opnieuw op te starten.
Het apparaat komt tot stilstand naar aanleiding van een overbelasting
Een vreemd voorwerp tussen de mess en, een te intens ieve werking kunnen een
overbelasting van de motor met zich meebrengen.
In dit geval kan ofwel de thermische beveiliging ofwel de overstroombeveiliging inwerking
treden en het apparaat tot stilstand brengen.
Als het apparaat war m is, zie het hoofdstuk "het apparaat komt tot stilstand naar
aanleiding van een verhitting van de motorr".
Zoniet, zie het hoofdstuk "beveiliging overbelasting motor".
Het apparaat blijft draaien nadat alle ijsblokjes zijn gemalen
In de automatische modus werkt het apparaat volgens een tijdklok die niet gewijzigd kan
worden met een ingestelde tijdsduur van 1 minuut (tijd nodig om het hele reservoir in fijn
ijs fijn te stampen).
Om over te gaan naar de handmatige modus en het apparaat tot stilstand te brengen,
drukken op de knop die brandt.
De 2 knoppen knipperen tegelijkertijd
Het apparaat is tot stilstand gekomen naar aanleiding van een overbelasting van de
motor. Om dit probleem op te lossen z ie het hoofdstuk "beveiliging overbelasting
motor".

Het fijngestampte ijs stroomt niet meer in de ijsbak
Het apparaat is ontworpen om in één enkele handeling de nutti ge inhoud van een
standaard ijsbak te malen. Als men te veel ijsblokjes in het reservoir doet of als men een te
kleine ijsbak gebruikt (of een te kleine opv angbak), zal het niveau van het fijngestampte ijs
geleidelijk oplopen tot aan de uitvoeropening. Dan kan het fijngestampte ijs niet meer naar
buiten en wordt het samengeperst in het molenlichaam. En in dit geval is het niet
voldoende de ijsbak te verwijderen om de uitvoeropening van het fijngestampte ijs weer te
openen.
BELANGRIJK :
Tijdens de werking van het apparaat, geen harde voorwerpen
steken in de uitvoeropening van het fijngestampte ijs.
Oplossing :
Het apparaat tot stilstand brengen.
De ijsbak legen (gevuld met fijngestampt ijs)
De ijsbak met ijsblokjes vullen en een automatische cyclus in beide groottes starten.
Zonodig enkele ogenblikken wachten tot het ijs smelt.

Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

FOR THE ICE CRUSHER N° 53
Ice crusher N° 53 is designed especially for bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants and
nightclubs.
The appliance comprises a plastic crushing unit fitted with stainless steel blades, a
1.3 kg see-through plastic hopper and a standard ice bucket.
The appliance crushes ice cubes (square or cylindrical) from conventional ice cube
makers.
It is fitted with a planetary reduction gear and asynchronous motor pilot controlled by
an electronic board.
It allows for 2 sizes of crushed ice to be made.
ATTENTION:
For all handling operations including unpacking the machine, do not handle or lift
the appliance by the locking handle (2) of the cover (1) (fig. A).
ATTENTION: Make sure that the cover (1) is in the closed position before plugging the
power cable (10) into the mains supply socket (fig. B).
RECYCLING THE PRODUCT AT THE END OF ITS SERVICE LIFE
This equipment is marked with the selective sorting symbol relating to
wastes from electrical and electronic equipment. It signifies that this product

INSTALLATION AND HANDLING
The machine can be handled by a single person. It is recommended that the appliance be
placed on a table or worktop for more comfortable use with the controls facing you
(recommended height: 90 cm, to be adapted as required for the user).
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The electric power supply for the appliance is available in 2 single-phase voltages:
- 100-120V~ 50/60 Hz : 53V1
- 220-240V~ 50/60 Hz : 53
Line protection: the machine should be connected to a standard 2-pole + earth electric
socket. The set-up must be fitted with a differential circuit breaker and a 16A fuse. The
appliance must be earthed (fig. B).
CARE:
Before connecting the machine, check that the mains electrical voltage
is the same as the voltage for your appliance. Its value is shown:

USING THE APPLIANCE
USING FOR THE 1st TIME
Carefully clean the parts of the machine in contact with the ice cubes (fig. A).
Grip the handle of the cover (2) to unlock it, then lift it up to gain access to the ice
cube hopper (3). Clean the cover (1), hopper (3), ice bucket (6) with a non-abrasive
sponge and standard washing up liquid.
START-UP:
Assembly and preparation

1. Place the drip tray (8) and its holder (7) under the crushing unit (9).
USING
1. Switch on the appliance by plugging in the power cable (10).
2. Fill the ice bucket (6) with blocks of ice (see warning paragraph)
3. Pour the contents of the ice bucket into the ice cube hopper (3) (fig. C)
4. Close and lock the cover (1) of the hopper.
5. Place the ice bucket (without its cover) on the drip tray (8) (fig. D).
6. Press the button corresponding to the size of crushed ice required.
The left-hand button (5) is provided to obtain small-sized crushed ice.
The right-hand button (4) is provided to obtain big-sized crushed ice.
7. (The crushed ice falls into the ice bucket) (fig. E).
HOW TO STOP THE MACHINE
The appliance is stopped either by:
1. pressing the button corresponding to the size of crushed ice being made
"button lit up" (4 or 5),
2. opening up the cover (1).
3. or unplugging the power cable plug (10)
CHOOSING THE SIZE OF CRUSHED ICE
The appliance does not require any adjustment.
The left-hand button (5) is provided to obtain small-sized crushed ice.
The right-hand button (4) is provided to obtain big-sized crushed ice.

USING THE MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC MODE
Manual mode
Prolonged pressing of one of the buttons (4 or 5) starts up the manual mode. The motor
runs for as long as the push button is pressed then stops as soon as it is released.
Automatic mode
Brief pressing of one of the buttons (4 or 5) starts up the automatic mode. The motor
runs for a set programmed time (1 minute) then stops.
Note: the timer cannot be adjusted. The preset time corresponds to complete crushing of
the 1.3 kg of ice (maximum hopper capacity).
During the automatic cycle, briefly pressing of the button for the size of crushed ice in
progress (button lit up) will stop the appliance (timer initialization).
During the automatic cycle, briefly pressing of the button for the other size of crushed
ice in progress (button NOT lit up) will change the crushed ice size without initializing the
timer.
Opening the cover (1) during the automatic cycle will stop the motor.
Closing the cover (1) will start the motor back up. The cycle resumes where it was as soon
as the cover is closed (timer not initialized on opening/closing of cover).
CLEANING
IMPORTANT:
In every case, the machine should be stopped and the machine's
power cable (10) unplugged.
Cleaning with a water spray or pressure spray is not permitted

SAFETY / MAINTENANCE
MOTOR OVERLOAD SAFETY FEATURE:
If the motor gets blocked (foreign or hard matter), the appliance will perform 2 successive
blade rotation direction changes to make it easier for the hard matter to go through. The
appliance will then resume its normal cycle. If the 2 direction changes are not enough to
overcome this problem, the appliance will then go into the safety state and the motor will
stop.
The safety state is signaled by simultaneously flashing of both push buttons (4) and (5).
In this case: To overcome the fault: remove the foreign matter from the crushing unit, then
initialize the appliance (hold the 2 push buttons (4) and (5) down for 2 seconds).
If the problem persists, switch off the power supply to the machine (unplug the power cord
(10) from the mains socket) and call in the maintenance service or contact a SANTOS
approved dealer.
MOTOR OVERHEATING SAFETY FEATURE
In the event of the motor overheating, the appliance stops automatically.
The protection device is reset automatically, wait for the motor to cool down (15 to 30
seconds) before starting the machine back up.
If the problem persists, switch off the power supply to the machine (unplug the power cord
(10) from the mains socket) and call in the maintenance service or contact a SANTOS
approved dealer.
SAFE ACCESS TO THE TOOLS
The appliance can only be started up if the cover (1) is closed.
Opening the cover (1) will stop the machine and the moving parts.
The machine is started back up as soon as the cover is closed (1).
A cut in the mains power supply will stop the machine.
One of the two push buttons (4) or (5) must be pressed in order to start the
machine back up.
For safety reasons, do not place your finger or part of your hand into the crushed ice outlet
opening, even if it is blocked up by a clump of crushed ice. In this case, refer to the "Fault
finding" section.

MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any work on the appliance, it is essential to unplug it from
the mains and to discharge the motor starting capacitor:
Spare parts
IMPORTANT: Use of spare parts other than certified original SANTOS parts
is prohibited.
This machine requires no particular maintenance because the bearings are lubricated for
life.
If work is required to replace worn parts such as the crushing blades, electrical or other
components, refer to the parts list (see exploded view at the end of the manual).

FAULT FINDING
Carefully determine the reason for the appliance stopping.
In all circumstances, if the problem persists, switch off the appliance (unplug the mains
power cord plug (10)) and call on someone from the maintenance department or contact an
approved SANTOS dealer.
The appliance does not start
Check: the mains power supply and the condition of the power cable (10).
Check that the luminous indicator lamp at the outlet of the crushing unit (9) goes on
for approximately ten seconds when the appliance is connected to the mains power
supply.
Check that there is no foreign matter stuck between the blades.
Inside the appliance, check the condition of the electric wires and connections (at the
grommet (12) and the connection block (13) (fig. F)
Check the electrical components by changing them one at a time (capacitor, cover
safety device, electronic module, motor).
The machine stops because the motor has overheated: (the motor unit is hot)
In the event of the motor overheating, the appliance will stop automatically.
The protection device is reset automatically, wait for the motor to cool down (15 to 30
seconds) before starting the machine back up.
The appliance stops further to an overload
Foreign matter between the blades and intensive use can lead to motor overload.
Under these circumstances, either the thermal protection or the excess current protection
may be activated and stop the machine operating.
If the machine is hot, refer to the section "The machine stops because the motor has
overheated".
If not, refer to the "motor overload safety feature" section.
The appliance continues to operate after processing all the ice cubes
In automatic mode, the appliance operates according to a non-adjustable timer set to 1
minute (time required to process a whole hopper load on small size).
Press the button which is lit up in order to go back to manual mode and stop the appliance.
Both buttons flash simultaneously
The appliance stops further to a motor overload. To overcome this, refer to the "motor
overload safety feature" section.

The crushed ice does not drop into the ice bucket
The appliance is designed to crush the whole capacity of a standard ice cube tray in one go.
If too many ice cubes are loaded into the hopper or if an ice bucket which is too small is
used, the crushed ice level gradually builds up to the outlet opening. As the crushed ice
cannot fall down, it is compacted in the crushing unit. Just removing the ice bucket will not
be enough to unblock the crushed ice outlet opening.
IMPORTANT:
No not insert hard objects into the crushed ice outlet opening
when the appliance is in operation.
Solution:
Stop the appliance.
Empty the ice bucket (filled with crushed ice)
Fill the ice cube hopper and start the automatic cycle of each size back up again.
Wait a few moments for the ice to melt if required.

VOTRE BROYEUR A GLAÇONS N°53
Le broyeur à glaçons N° 53 est dédié aux bars, cafés, hôtels, restaurants, boites de
nuits.
L'appareil est constitué d'un corps de broyage en plastique équipé de couteaux en
acier inoxydable, d'un réservoir en plastique transparent d’une contenance de 1,3 kg
et d’un bac à glaçons standard.
L'appareil permet de briser des glaçons (cubiques ou cylindriques) issus de
machines à glaçons traditionnelles.
L’appareil est équipé d’un réducteur planétaire et d’un moteur asynchrone piloté par
une carte électronique.
L’appareil permet d’obtenir 2 tailles de glace pilée.
ATTENTION:
Pour toutes les manutentions, y compris le déballage de la machine, il est interdit
d'appréhender ou de soulever l'appareil pa r la poignée de verrouillage (2) du
couvercle (1). (fig. A)
ATTENTION: Vérifier que le couvercle (1) est en position fermée avant de brancher la
prise du cordon d’alimentation (10) sur la prise de votre alimentation
secteur. (fig. B)
RECYCLAGE DU PRODUIT EN FIN DE VIE
Cet appareil est marqué du symbole du tri sélectif relatif aux déchets
d’équipements électriques et électroniques. Cela signifie que ce produit doit
être pris en charge par un système de collecte sélectif conformément à la

CONTRE INDICATIONS
1. Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour broyer autre chose que des glaçons
cubiques ou cy lindriques dont l es dimensions n’excèdent pas
30x30x30mm.
2. Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour broyer des aliments congelés.
3. Ne pas introduire d’objet par l’orifice (9) de sortie de la glace pilée.
INSTALLATION, MANUTENTION
Une seule personne est nécessaire à la manipulation de l'appareil. Pour un confort
d'utilisation, il est conseillé de placer l'appareil sur une table ou un plan de travail, de
manière à avoir le panneau de commande en face de soi, (hauteur préconisée : 90 cm, à
adapter suivant l'utilisateur).
BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE
L'alimentation électrique de l'appareil est disponible en 2 voltages monophasés :
- 100-120V~ 50/60 Hz : 53V1
- 220-240V~ 50/60 Hz : 53
Protection de ligne : l'appareil doit être branché sur une prise de courant standard 2 pôles
+ terre. L'installation doit être équipée d'un disjoncteur différentiel et d'un fusible calibré à
16A. (fig. B) La mise à la terre de l’appareil est obligatoire.
ATTENTION :
Avant de brancher l'appareil, vérifier la concordance entre la tension
du réseau électrique et celle de votre appareil. Sa valeur est indiquée:

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
1ere MISE EN ROUTE
Nettoyer correctement les pièces en contact avec les glaçons (fig. A).
Pincer la poignée du couvercle (2) pour le déverrouiller, puis le soulever pour
accéder au réservoir (3) à glaçons. Nettoyer le couvercle (1), le réservoir (3), le bac
à glaçons (6) avec une éponge non abrasive et un produit vaisselle standard.
MISE EN ROUTE
Montage et préparation
(fig. A)
1. Placer le bac à gouttes (8) et sa grille (7) sous le corps de broyage (9).
UTILISATION
1. Mettre l’appareil sous tension en branchant le cordon d’alimentation secteur (10).
2. Remplir le bac à glaçons (6) de blocs de glace (voir les contre-indications)
3. Verser le contenu du bac à glaçons dans le réservoir à glaçons (3) (fig. C)
4. Fermer et verrouiller le couvercle (1) du réservoir.
5. Placer le bac à glaçons (sans son couvercle) sur le bac à gouttes (8) (fig. D).
6. Appuyer sur le bouton correspondant à la taille de glace pilée désirée.
Le bouton de gauche (5) permet d’obtenir de la glace pilée de petite taille.
Le bouton de droite (4) permet d’obtenir de la glace pilée de grosse taille.
7. (La glace pilée tombe dans le bac à glaçons) (fig. E).
ARRET DE L'APPAREIL
L’arrêt de l’appareil s’effectue en actionnant :
1. soit le bouton poussoir correspondant à la taille de glace pilée en cours
de réalisation « bouton allumé » (4 ou 5),
2. soit en ouvrant le couvercle (1).
3. soit en débranchant la prise du cordon secteur (10)
CHOIX DE LA TAILLE DE GLACE PILEE
L’appareil ne nécessite aucun réglage.
Le bouton de gauche (5) permet d’obtenir de la glace pilée de petite taille.
Le bouton de droite (4) permet d’obtenir de la glace pilée de grosse taille.

UTILISATION EN MODE MANUEL OU AUTOMATIQUE
Mode manuel
Un appui Prolongé sur l’un des boutons (4 ou 5) déclenche le mode manuel. Le moteur
tourne pendant le maintien du bouton poussoir en position appuyée puis s’arrête dès que
le bouton est relâché.
Mode automatique
Un appui bref sur l’un des boutons (4 ou 5) déclenche le mode automatique. Le moteur
tourne pendant un temps programmé (1 minute) puis s’arrête.
Note : la minuterie n’est pas ajustable. Le temps préréglé correspond au broyage complet
de 1.3 kg de glace (capacité maximale de la trémie).
Pendant le déroulement du cycle automatique, un appui bref sur le bouton correspondant
àla taille de glace pilée en cours de réalisation (bouton allumé) provoque l’arrêt de
l’appareil (initialisation de la minuterie).
Pendant le déroulement du cycle automatique, un appui bref sur le bouton correspondant
àl’autre taille de glace pilée en cours de réalisation (bouton NON allumé) provoque le
changement de taille de glace pilée, sans réinitialiser la minuterie.
Pendant le déroulement du cycle automatique, l’ouverture du couvercle (1) provoque
l’arrêt du moteur.
La fermeture du couvercle (1) relance le moteur. Le cycle reprend son cours là où en est
le décompte de temps au moment de la fermeture du couvercle (pas d’initialisation de la
minuterie à l’ouverture/fermeture du couvercle).
NETTOYAGE
IMPORTANT :
Dans tous les cas, arrêter l'appareil et débrancher le cordon
d'alimentation de l'appareil (10).
Le nettoyage au jet d'eau ou sous pression n'est pas autorisé

SECURITES / MAINTENANCE
SECURITE SURCHARGE MOTEUR
En cas de blocage du moteur (corps étranger, corps trop dur), l’appareil procède à 2
inversions de sens de rotation des couteaux successives pour faciliter le passage du
corps dur. Puis l’appareil reprend son cycle normal. Si les 2 inversions de sens ne
suffisent pas à corriger le problème, alors l’appareil se met en sécurité et stoppe le
moteur.
La mise en sécurité est matérialisée par le clignotement simultané des 2 boutons poussoir
(4) et (5).
Dans ce cas : Pour remédier au défaut : ôter le corps étranger dans le corps de broyage,
puis initialiser l’appareil (maintenir simultanément les 2 boutons poussoir (4) et (5)
enclenchés pendant 2 secondes).
Si le problème persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise de cordon
secteur (10)) et faire intervenir une personne du service de maintenance ou contacter un
revendeur agréé SANTOS.
SECURITE SURCHAUFFE MOTEUR
En cas de surchauffe moteur, l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement.
Le protecteur est à réarmement automatique, attendre le refroidissement du moteur (15 à
30 minutes), avant de redémarrer la machine.
Si le problème persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise de cordon
secteur (10)) et faire intervenir une personne du service de maintenance ou contacter un
revendeur agréé SANTOS.
SECURITE ACCES AUX OUTILS
L’appareil ne peut démarrer que si le couvercle (1) est fermé.
L’ouverture du couvercle (1) provoque l’arrêt de la machine et l'immobilisation des
éléments en rotation.
La remise en marche de l’appareil est effectuée dès la fermeture du couvercle (1).
Une rupture d’alimentation du secteur provoque l’arrêt de la machine.
La remise en marche de l’appareil nécessite une nouvelle action volontaire sur
l’un des 2 boutons poussoir (4) ou (5).
Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est interdit d’introduire le doigt ou une partie d’une main
par l’orifice de sortie de la glace pilée, même s’il est obstrué par un amas de glace pilée.

MAINTENANCE
Avant toute intervention sur l'appareil, il est impératif de le débrancher du
secteur et de décharger le condensateur de démarrage du moteur :
Pièces détachées
IMPORTANT: Il est interdit d’utiliser des pièces de rechanges autres que
celles d’origine certifiées SANTOS
Cette machine ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier, les roulements sont graissés à vie.
Si une intervention est nécessaire pour remplacer les pièces d'usure telles que les
couteaux de broyage, les composants électriques ou autres, se reporter à la liste des
composants (voir la vue éclatée en fin de manuel).
Pour toute commande de pièces détachées (voir références sur la vue éclatée en fin de
manuel), préciser :
le type,
le numéro de série de l’appareil,
les caractéristiques électriques (16),
notés sous l'appareil.

AIDE AU DEPANNAGE
Identifier avec précision la cause de l'arrêt de l'appareil.
Dans tous les cas, si le problème persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la
prise du cordon secteur (10)) et faire intervenir une personne du service de maintenance ou
contacter un revendeur agréé SANTOS.
L'appareil ne démarre pas
Contrôler : l'alimentation secteur, l'état du cordon d'alimentation (10).
Vérifier que le voyant lumineux situé en sortie de corps de broyage (9) s'allume
pendant une dizaine de secondes dès le raccordement de l’appareil au secteur.
Vérifier qu’il n’y a pas de corps étrangers coincés entre les couteaux.
A l'intérieur de l'appareil, vérifier l'état des fils électriques et des connections (au
niveau du passe fils (12), au niveau du bloc de raccordement (13) (fig. F)
Vérifier les composants électriques en les remplaçant les uns après les autres
(condensateur, sécurité couvercle, module électronique, moteur).
L'appareil s'arrête suite à une chauffe moteur : (le bloc moteur est chaud)
En cas de surchauffe moteur, l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement.
Le protecteur est à réarmement automatique, attendre le refroidissement du moteur (15 à
30 minutes), avant de redémarrer la machine.
L'appareil s'arrête suite à une surcharge
Un corps étranger entre les couteaux, un fonctionnement intensif peut provoquer une
surcharge moteur.
Dans ces conditions, soit le protecteur thermique, soit le protecteur de sur-intensité peut
s'activer et stopper le fonctionnement de l'appareil.
Si l'appareil est chaud, alors voir la partie "L'appareil s'arrête suite à une chauffe
moteur".
Dans le cas contraire, voir la partie "sécurité surcharge moteur".
L'appareil continue de fonctionner après avoir passé tous les glaçons
En mode automatique, l’appareil fonctionne suivant une minuterie non modifiable d’une
durée de 1 minute. (temps nécessaire pour passer la totalité du réservoir en version petite
taille).
Pour repasser en mode manuel et arrêter l’appareil, appuyer sur le bouton allumé.
Les 2 boutons clignotent simultanément
L’appareil s’arrête suite à une surcharge moteur. Pour y remédier, voir la partie "sécurité
surcharge moteur".

La glace pilée ne s’écoule plus dans le bac à glaçons
L’appareil est défini pour broyer d’un seul trait, la capacité utile d’un bac à glaçons standard.
Dans le cas d’un chargement trop important de glaçons dans le réservoir ou dans le cas
d’une utilisation d’un bac à glaçons trop petit (ou utilisation d’un réceptacle trop petit), le
niveau de glace pilée monte progressivement jusqu’à l’orifice de sortie. La glace pilée ne
pouvant plus sortir, elle est compactée dans le corps de broyage. Le simple fait de retirer le
bac à glaçons n’est pas suffisant pour libérer l’orifice de sortie de la glace pilée.
IMPORTANT :
Pendant le fonctionnement de l’appareil, ne pas introduire
d’objet dur par l’orifice de sortie de la glace pilée.
Remède :
Arrêter l’appareil
Vider le bac à glaçons (rempli de glace pilée)
Remplir le réservoir de glaçons et relancer un cycle automatique de chaque taille.
Au besoin, attendre quelques instants que la glace fonde.

Depuis le 01.01.95, tous nos appareils sont conformes CE et revêtus du label CE. Notre garantie
est de douze mois à partir de la date de fabrication figurant sur la plaque signalétique. La garantie
est strictement limitée au remplacement gratuit de toute pièce d'origine reconnue par nous
défectueuse à la suite d'un défaut ou d'un vice de construction et identifiée comme appartenant à
l'appareil considéré. Elle ne s'applique pas aux avaries résultant d'une installation ou d'une utilisation
non-conforme aux prescriptions accompagnant chaque appareil (manuel d'utilisation) ou dans le cas
d'un manque évident d'entretien ou de non observation des règles élémentaires de sécurité
électriques. La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas d’usure naturelle. Tout remplacement de pièce
sous garantie est effectué après renvoi de la pièce défectueuse en nos ateliers en port payé,
accompagnée d'une copie de la Déclaration de conformité sur laquelle figure le numéro de série
de l'appareil. Tout appareil est muni d'une plaque signalétique conforme CE et dont un double
figure dans la Déclaration de conformité (N° de série, date de fabrication, caractéristiques
électriques…). En cas d'avarie grave jugée réparable uniquement dans nos ateliers, et après
accord préalable de nos services, tout appareil sous garantie est expédié par le Distributeur en
port payé. En cas de réparation ou reconditionnement d'appareil hors garantie, le transport aller-
retour est à la charge du Distributeur. Les pièces et main-d’oeuvre sont facturées aux tarifs en
vigueur (tarif pièces détachées – tarif horaire – main-d’oeuvre). Il peut être fourni un devis préalable.
Les moulins à café non munis de meules originales SANTOS ne sont pas pris sous garantie. Les
conditions de garantie, réparation, reconditionnement, des moulins à café espresso font l’objet d’une
notice spécifique. Notre garantie ne s’étend pas au paiement de pénalités, à la réparation des
préjudices directs ou indirects et notamment à tout manque à gagner résultant de la non-conformité
ou défectuosité des produits, la responsabilité globale de SANTOS étant limitée au prix de vente du
produit livré et à l’éventuelle réparation des produits défectueux.
En cas de révélation d'une défectuosité pendant la période de garantie, le Distributeur doit, sauf
accord contraire écrit de SANTOS, indiquer à son client, de cesser toute utilisation du produit
défectueux. Une telle utilisation dégagerait SANTOS de toute responsabilité.

unterscheiden, die in den Normen vom Typ A oder B genannt werden, haben die Bestimmungen der
Norm vom Typ C vor denen der anderen Normen Vorrang. Die vorliegende Norm ermöglicht es, sich

IHR EISZERKLEINERER Nr. 53
Der Eiszerkleinerer Nr. 53 ist für Bars, Ca fes, Hotels, Restaurants und Nac htlokale
bestimmt.
Das Gerät besteht aus einem Kunststoff-Mahlkörper mit rostfreien Edelstahlmessern,
einem transparenten Kunststoffbehälter mi t einem Fassungsvermögen von 1,3 k g
und einer Standard-Eisauffangschale.
Mit dem Gerät lassen sich in herkö mmlichen Eiswürfelmaschinen hergestellte
Eiswürfel (eckige oder runde) verarbeiten.
Das Gerät ist mit einem Planetengetri ebe und einem über eine Elektronikkarte
gesteuerten Asynchronmotor ausgerüstet.
Mit dem Gerät können die Eiswürfel fein- oder grobkörnig zerkleinert werden.
Das Gerät darf auf keinen Fal l - auch ni cht beim Auspacken der Maschine - an
dem Verriegelungsgriff (2) des Deckels (1) festgehalten oder angehoben w erden.

ACHTUNG: Bevor Sie den Stecker des Stromkabels ( 1) an Ihre Netzsteckdos e
anschließen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Deckel ( 2) richtig

Das Gerät ist mit dem Symbol für die Mülltrennung elektrischer und
elektronischer Geräte gekennz eichnet. Das bedeutet, dass das Produkt
gemäß der Richtlinie 2002/96/EG (Elektro- und El ektronik-Altgeräte) –
Abschnitt Gewerblich genutzte Geräte – von einer Mülltrennungsfirma
übernommen werden muss, um entweder recycelt oder zerlegt zu werden
und schädliche Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu vermeiden.

SACHWIDRIGER EINSATZ
1. Dieses Gerät ausschließlich zum Ze rkleinern von maximal 30x30x30
mm großen runden oder eckigen Eisstücken verwenden.
2. Das Gerät nicht zum Zerkleinern von tiefgefrorenen Leb ensmitteln
verwenden.
3. Keine Gegenstände in die Ausgangsöffnung (9) für das verarbeitete Eis
einführen.
INSTALLATION, HANDHABUNG
Das Gerät kann von einer Per son transportiert werden. Für den Bedienungskomfort
empfiehlt es sich, das Gerät auf einen T isch oder eine Arbeitsplatte zu stellen, um das
Bedienungsfeld vor Augen zu haben (empfohlene Höhe: 90 cm, der Größe des Benutzers
anpassen).
Anmerkung: Zum leichteren Verständnis der folgenden Abschnitte verweisen wir
auf die Abbildungen am Ende des Handbuchs.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
Das Netzteil des Gerätes ist für 2 Wechselstrom-Netzspannungen erhältlich:
- 100-120V~ 50/60 Hz : Modell 53V1
- 220-240V~ 50/60 Hz : Modell 53
Leitungsschutz: Das Gerät muss an eine Standardsteckdose 2-polig + Schutzkontakt
angeschlossen werden. Die Installation muss mit einem FI-Schutzschalter und einer 16 A-
Sicherung ausgerüstet sein. Die Erdung des Geräts ist Pflicht. (Abb. B)
ACHTUNG:
BENUTZUNG DES GERÄTS
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Die mit den Eiswürfeln in Kontakt kommenden Teile gründlich reinigen (Abb. A).
Zum Entriegeln den Griff des Deckels (2) drücken und diesen anschließe nd
anheben, um Zugang zum Eiswürfelbehälter ( 3) zu erhalten. Den Deckel ( 1), den
Behälter (3) und die Eisauffangschale (6) mit einem nicht kratzenden Schwamm und
einem handelsüblichen Geschirrspülmittel abwaschen.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Montage und Vorbereitung
(Abb. A)
1. Die Tropfenauffangschale (8) mit dem Gitter (7) unter den Mahlkörper (9) stellen.
BENUTZUNG
1. Das Gerät durch Anschließen des Stromkabels (10) unter Spannung setzen.
2. Die Eisschale (6) mit Eisstücken füllen (siehe Gegenanzeigen)
3. Den Inhalt der Eisschale in den Eiswürfelsammelbehälter (3) (Abb. C) schütten.
4. Den Deckel (1) des Behälters schließen und verriegeln.
5. Die Eisschale (ohne Deckel) auf die Tropfenauffangschale (8) (Abb. D) stellen.

oder auf dem Typenschild auf der letzten Seite dieses Handbuchs.
Wenn das Stromkabel ( 10) beschädigt ist, muss es durc h einen speziellen Bausatz
ersetzt werden, der bei der F irma SANTOS oder einem SANTO S Vertragshändler
erhältlich ist.

Vor dem Anschluss des Geräts die Übereinstimmung der Spannung der
Stromversorgung mit der Gerätespannung überprüfen.

6. Den der Verarbeitungsart des Eiswürfels entsprechenden Knopf betätigen.
Durch Betätigung des linken Knopfes (5) erhält man fein zerkleinertes Eis.
Durch Betätigung des rechten Knopfes (4) erhält man grob zerkleinertes Eis.
7. (Das verarbeitete Eis fällt in die Eisschale ) (Abb. E).
STOPP DES GERÄTS
Das Gerät wird gestoppt:
1. entweder durch Betätigung des der gerade laufenden Verarbeitung (fein
oder grob) entsprechenden Drucktasters (4 oder 5) „Knopf leuchtet“.
2. oder durch Öffnen des Deckels (1)
3. oder durch Herausziehen des Stromkabels (10)
WAHL DER VERARBEITUNG (FEIN ODER GROB)
Es braucht keine Einstellung am Gerät vorgenommen zu werden.
Durch Betätigung des linken Knopfes (5) erhält man fein zerkleinertes Eis.
Durch Betätigung des rechten Knopfes (4) erhält man grob zerkleinertes Eis.

BENUTZUNG IM HAND- ODER AUTOMATIKBETRIEB
Handbetrieb
Bei längerem Druck auf einen der Knöpfe (4 oder 5 ) stellt sich die Maschine auf
Handbetrieb. Der Motor läuft, solange der Knopf eingedrückt bleibt und stellt sich ab,
sobald der Knopf losgelassen wird.
Automatikbetrieb
Bei kurzem Druck auf einen der Knöpfe (4 oder 5 ) stellt sich die Maschine auf
Automatikbetrieb. Der Motor läuft für eine vorprogrammi erte Zeit (1 Minute) und ble ibt
dann stehen.
Anmerkung: Der Zeitschalter lässt sich nicht einstellen. Die voreingestellte Zeit entspricht
dem kompletten Verarbeitungsvorgang für 1, 3 kg Eis (maximales Fassungsvermögen des
Trichters).
Während des Ablaufs des Au tomatikzyklus bewirkt ein kurzer Druck auf den der gerade
laufenden Verarbeitung (fein oder grob) entspreche nden Knopf (Knopf leuchtet) den
Stopp des Geräts (Initialisierung der Schaltuhr).
Während des Ablaufs des Automatikzyklus bewirkt ein kurzer Druck auf den der anderen
Verarbeitungsart entsprechenden Knopf (Knopf leucht et NICHT) einen Wechsel der
Eisverarbeitungsart ohne Reinitialisierung der Schaltuhr.
Während des Ablaufs des Automatikzyklus bewirkt die Öffnung des Deckels (1) den
Stopp des Motors.
Bei Schließen des Deckels ( 1) läuft der Motor wieder an. Der Zyklus wird entsprechend
der zum Zeitpunkt der Deckelschließ ung abgelaufenen Zeit wiederaufgenommen (kei ne
Initialisierung der Schaltuhr bei Öffnung/Schließung des Deckels).
REINIGUNG
WICHTIG:
Auf jeden Fall das Gerät a bschalten und das Stromkabel des
Gerätes (10) vom Netz ziehen.
Das Reinigen unter einem Wasserstrah l oder mit Hochdru ck ist
nicht zulässig.

SICHERHEITSVORRICHTUNGEN / WARTUNG
ÜBERLASTSCHUTZ DES MOTORS
Bei Blockieren des Motors (Fremdkörper, zu harter Körper) ändert das Gerät
nacheinander 2mal die Drehrichtung der Messer, um den Durchlauf des harten Körpers zu
erleichtern. Dann kehrt das Gerät zum normalen Zyklus zurück. Wenn die 2
Drehrichtungswechsel nicht ausreichen, um das Problem zu beseitigen, schaltet das Gerät
auf Sicherheit und stoppt den Motor.
Die Sicherheitsabschaltung wird durch das glei chzeitige Blinken der beiden Drucktaster
(4) und (5) angezeigt.
In diesem Fall : Um den Fehler zu beheben: den Fremdkörper aus dem Mahlkörper
entfernen und anschließend das Gerät initialisieren (die 2 Drucktaster (4) und (5) 2
Sekunden lang eingedrückt halten).
Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, die Spannungsversorgung des Geräts unterbrechen
(das Stromkabel ( 10) ziehen) und einen Kundendiensttechniker oder einen SANTOS
Vertragshändler einschalten.
ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ DES MOTORS
Bei Überhitzung des Motors schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab.
Die Schutzvorrichtung hat ei ne Rückstellautomatik; vor Wi edereinschalten der Maschine
warten, bis der Motor abgekühlt ist (15 bis 30 Minuten).
Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, die Spannungsversorgung des Geräts unterbrechen
(das Stromkabel ( 10) ziehen) und einen Kundendiens ttechniker oder einen SANTOS
Vertragshändler einschalten.
SICHERHEITSEINRICHTUNG ZUM SCHUTZ VOR WERKZEUGEN
Das Gerät kann nur bei geschlossenem Deckel (1) anspringen.
Bei Öffnung des Deckels (1) stoppt die Maschine und die rotierenden Elemente
hören auf sich zu bewegen.
Sobald der Deckel (1) wieder geschlossen wird, läuft die Maschine wieder an.
Bei Unterbrechungder Netzstromversorgung stoppt die Maschine.
Um das G erät wiedereinzuschalten, muss erneut einer der beiden Drucktaster (4)
oder (5) betätigt werden.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist es untersagt, einen Finger oder einen Teil der Hand in die
Ausgangsöffnung für das verarbeitete Eis zu stecken, auch wenn diese durch das Eis
verstopft ist. In diesem Fall verweisen wir auf den Abschnitt « Pannenhilfe »

WARTUNG
Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät mu ss das Gerät vom Netz genommen
und der Anfahrkondensator des Motors entladen werden:
Ersatzteile
WICHTIG: Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet werden.
Die Maschine ist weitgehend wartungsfrei, die Rolllager sind lebenslang geschmiert.
Wenn ein Eingriff zum Austausch von Verschleißteilen, wie Zerkleinerungsmesser,
elektrische oder andere Bauteile erforderlich ist, verweisen wir auf die Liste der Bauteile
(siehe Explosionszeichnung am Ende des Handbuchs).
Bei allen Bestellungen von Er satzteilen (Artikelnummern siehe Explos ionszeichnung
am Ende des Handbuchs) bitte folgende Angaben machen:
Typ,
Seriennummer des Geräts,
elektrische Angaben (16)
auf der Unterseite des Geräts.
PANNENHILFE
Die Ursache für den Stopp des Geräts genau ermitteln.
Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, auf jeden Fall die Sp annungsversorgung des Geräts
unterbrechen (das Stromkabel ( 10) ziehen) und einen Kundendiensttechniker oder
SANTOS Vertragshändler einschalten.
Das Gerät springt nicht an
Überprüfen: Stromversorgung über das Netz, Zustand des Stromkabels (10).
Überprüfen, ob die am Mahlkörperausgang (9) befindliche Kontrollleuchte bei
Anschluss das Geräts an das Netz ca. zehn Sekunden leuchtet.
Überprüfen, ob keine Fremdkörper zwischen den Messern verkeilt sind.
Im Innern des Geräts den Zustand der Stromdrähte und Verbindungen (an der
Drahtdurchführung (12), am Anschlussblock (13) (Abb. F) überprüfen.
Die elektrischen Bauteile überprüfen, indem man sie nachein ander austauscht
(Kondensator, Deckelsicherung, elektronische Baugruppe, Motor).
Das Gerät stoppt nach einer Überhitzung des Motors: (der Motorblock ist heiß)
Bei Überhitzung des Motors schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab.
Die Schutzvorrichtung hat eine Rückstellautomatik, vor Wieder einschaltung der Maschine
warten, bis der Motor abgekühlt ist (15 bis 30 Minuten).

Das Gerät stoppt nach einer Überlastung des Motors:
Ein Fremdkörper zwischen den Messern oder ein zu intensiver Betrieb können zu einer
Überlastung des Motors führen.
In diesen Fällen kann entweder der Temperaturwächter oder der Überstromschutzschalter
auslösen und den Betrieb des Geräts verhindern.
Wenn das Gerät heiß läuft, siehe Abschnitt "Das Gerät stoppt nach einer Überhitzung
des Motors".
Ansonsten verweisen wir auf den Abschnitt "Überlastschutz des Motors".
Das Gerät läuft weiter, nachdem alle Eiswürfel verarbeitet sind
Im Automatikbetrieb arbeitet das Gerät nach ei nem nicht verstellbaren Zeitschalter für die
Dauer von 1 Minute. (erforderliche Zeit, um den gesamten Behälterinhalt fein zu
verarbeiten).
Um wieder in den Handbetrieb zu schalten und das Gerät zu stoppen, den leuchtenden
Knopf betätigen.
Beide Knöpfe blinken gleichzeitig
Das Gerät stoppt nach einer Überlastung des Motors: Um Abhilfe zu schaffen siehe
Abschnitt "Überlastschutz des Motors".
Das verarbeitete Eis läuft nicht mehr in die Eisauffangschale
Das Gerät wurde konzipiert, um den Inhalt ei ner Standard-Eisschale in einem Arbeitsgang
zu verarbeiten. Wenn sich eine zu große Menge von Eiswür feln im Behälter befindet oder
wenn eine zu kleine Eisschale verwendet wird (oder bei Verwendung eines zu k leinen
Auffangbehälters), steigt die Menge des verarbeiteten Eises allmählich bis zur
Ausgangsöffnung. Da das verarbeitete Eis nicht mehr austret en kann, wird es im
Mahlkörper komprimiert. Durch das Entfernen der Eisschale allein lässt sich die
Verstopfung an der Ausgangsöffnung für das verarbeitete Eis nicht beheben.
WICHTIG:
Bei laufendem Gerät keine harten Gegenstände in die
Ausgangsöffnung für das verarbeitete Eis stecken.
Abhilfe:
Das Gerät abschalten
Die (mit zerkleinertem Eis gefüllte) Eisschale leeren.
Den Eiswürfelbehälter füllen und erneuteinen Automatikzyklus für jede
Verarbeitungsart starten.
Nötigenfalls einen Augenblick warten, bis das Eis schmilzt.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.
