VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Respecteer steeds de volgende elementaire voorschriften bij het gebruik, het onderhoud
of de in werking stelling van het apparaat.
De volledige gebruiksaanwijzing lezen
WAARSCHUWINGEN:
1. De roerstaaf nooit verwijderen tijdens het vullen.
2. De bak niet hoger vullen dan de schaalverdeling 12 liter.
3. Het apparaat nooit laten werken zonder, minimaal, de bak dagelijks volledig
schoongemaakt te hebben.
4. Nooit een schuurspons of schuurmiddel gebruiken om het deksel (1), de bak
(2) of de koffer in RVS (10) schoon te maken.
5. De ventilatieopeningen (10) aan de voor- en achterkant van het apparaat
niet versperren.
6. Enkel R134A gebruiken voor het vullen van de koelgroep.
7. De sokkel (10) mag niet ondergedompeld worden in water.
8. Omwille van het risico op elektrocutie, de sokkel niet onderdompelen in
water of een andere vloeistof.
9. De stekker van het apparaat uit de contactdoos halen voor elke ingreep:
schoonmaak, onderhoud.
10. Het is verboden andere vervangingsonderdelen te gebruiken dan de
originele vervangingsonderdelen van SANTOS.
INSTALLATIE.
Installeer het apparaat op een tapkast die het gewicht van een apparaat met volle bak kan
dragen.
Controleer of de ventilatie in het apparaat goed werkt. Aan de voor- en achterkant van het
apparaat dient zich een vrije ruimte van minstens 15 cm te bevinden.
OPGELET : Het apparaat 12 uur laten rusten zonder de stekker in de
contactdoos te steken als het horizontaal of omgekeerd
geplaatst is tijdens het transport of het uitpakken.
Opmerking : Zie de schema’s aan het einde van de handleiding om de hierna
volgende paragrafen beter te kunnen begrijpen.

ELEKTRISCHE AANSLUITING:
De elektrische voeding van het apparaat is beschikbaar in drie enkel fase voltages:
-110-120 V 50/60 Hz : model 34V1
-220-240 V 50 Hz : model 34V2
-220-240 V 60 Hz : model 34V4
Bescherming van de lijn : het apparaat moet aangesloten worden op een standaard
stopcontact 2 polen + aarde. De installatie moet voorzien zijn van een differentiaal
lastschakelaar en een zekering van 16A. De aarding van het apparaat is verplicht.
OPGELET :
Alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten, controleren of de spanning
van het stroomnet overeenkomt met deze van uw apparaat.
Deze bedrijfsspanning staat vermeld:
Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet hij vervangen worden door een speciale
set beschikbaar bij de SANTOS of bij een erkende SANTOS-leverancier.
1ste IN WERKING STELLING (Fig. A).
De onderdelen die in contact met voedingsmiddelen komen naar behoren schoonmaken.
Met een standaard afwasmiddel de volgende onderdelen schoonmaken : het deksel
(2), de roerstaaf (3), de bak (5).
RECYCLAGE VAN HET PRODUCT AAN HET EINDE VAN DE LEVENSDUUR
Dit apparaat is voorzien van het symbool van de selectieve sortering
betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit
betekent dat dit product verwerkt moet worden door een selectief
inzamelingssysteem conform de richtlijn 2002/96/CE (DEEE) – deel
Professionele Apparaten – zodat het gerecycleerd of uit elkaar gehaald
kan worden om de impact ervan op het milieu te verminderen.
Voor meer informatie kunt u contact opnemen met uw verdeler of SANTOS.
Voor de verwijdering of de recyclage van de componenten van het apparaat, gelieve
contact op te nemen met een gespecialiseerde maatschappij of met SANTOS.
De elektronische producten die niet selectief gesorteerd zijn, kunnen mogelijks een
gevaar betekenen voor het milieu.
De verpakkingsmaterialen moeten verwijderd of gerecycleerd worden conform de
geldende wetgeving.

BESCHRIJVING VAN HET APPARAAT
De frisdrankenautomaten hebben een stevige RVS-structuur, met transparante bak
en deksel uit onbreekbaar polycarbonaat. Ze zijn voornamelijk bestemd voor de
horeca: cafés, hotels, restaurants, openbare instanties...
De frisdrankenautomaten nr. 34 zijn verkrijgbaar in uitvoeringen met 1, 2 of 3 bakken
met een capaciteit van 12 liter.
De temperatuur van iedere bak wordt geregeld door een thermostaat die kan worden
ingesteld tussen 4 en 12°C. De thermostaat kan worden bereikt door het zijpaneel te
demonteren.
Op speciale aanvraag kan het koelsysteem worden gevuld met koelvloeistof van het
type R134a. Voor iedere ingreep dient u te controleren welke koelvloeistof er in uw
apparaat wordt gebruikt aan de hand van de naamplaat.
GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
WERKING:
Net als bij een koelkast dient de stekker als hoofdschakelaar. De schakelaars (8) aan de
voorkant zijn voor de bediening van iedere afzonderlijke roerstaaf.
De tijd die benodigd is om de vloeistof te koelen is afhankelijk van vele factoren zoals de
hoeveelheid drank, de begintemperatuur, de kamertemperatuur en de instelling van de

Voorbereiding en gebruik:
1. Vul de bak (2) met maximaal 12 liter. Voor de voorbereiding van de frisdrank volgt u
de aanwijzingen van de fabrikant van de frisdrankenautomaat. Giet altijd eerst het
water, en voeg daarna het product toe.
2. Zet de schakelaar (8) van de roerstaaf op 1.
3. Laat het apparaat zelfs ’s nachts werken. Het koelsysteem stopt wanneer de
gewenste temperatuur bereikt is.
4. Wij raden u aan het verdamptoestel (4) ondergedompeld te laten voor een optimale
werking en de roerstaaf niet stop te zetten zolang de bak niet leeg is.
INSTELLING VAN DE TEMPERATUUR VAN DE DRANK:
De temperatuur van de frisdrank wordt geregeld door in de fabriek ingestelde
thermostaten.
Deze instelling niet wijzigen.

Bak
Bij normale werking komt er lauwe lucht vrij aan de voor- of achterkant van het apparaat.
Als de lucht echter te warm is, dient u de luchtinvoer aan de achterkant van het apparaat
te controleren (vrije ruimte minimaal 15 cm).
In alle gevallen: als de frisdrank in de bak gekoeld is, is de werking van het apparaat
goed.
SCHOONMAKEN:
BELANGRIJK :
De roerstaaf (3) tot stilstand brengen en de stekker uit het
stopcontact halen.
Het apparaat niet schoonmaken met een waterstraal of een
hogedrukapparaat.
Dagelijkse schoonmaak:
Het apparaat moet dagelijks worden schoongemaakt
De bak demonteren en schoonmaken met warm water (geen spons of schuurmiddelen
gebruiken)
Demontage van de bak:
1. Het deksel (1) van de bak verwijderen.
2. De roerstaaf (3) verwijderen.
3. De bak (2) verwijderen door deze op te lichten en uit de koepel van het
verdamptoestel te verwijderen.
4. De pakking van het verdamptoestel (7) verwijderen.
5. De kraan als volgt demonteren:
a. druk de hendel (11) in om de schenkleiding (5) vrij te maken,
b. draai de afvoerbuis (6) los.
Montage van de bak:
De eenheid met de hendel (11) in open positie
plaatsen.
De afvoerbuis (6) op zijn plaats brengen en
vastdraaien.
De pakking van het verdamptoestel (7) op de
bak (2) monteren.
De bak op het verdamptoestel (4) plaatsen en
helemaal naar beneden schuiven.
o Om het plaatsen van de pakking te vereenvoudigen kunt u de koepel van het
verdamptoestel (4) bevochtigen. Of het apparaat aanzetten en wachten tot
er ijs verschijnt op het verdamptoestel alvorens de bak en de pakking naar
onder te duwen.

ONDERHOUD
Voor elke ingreep op het apparaat, de stekker uit de contactdoos
halen
Maandelijks onderhoud
Een keer per maand : het stof verwijderen van de vleugels van de condensator.
Om toegang te verkrijgen tot de condensator dient u het apparaat uit te schakelen en
de zijpanelen (9) los te schroeven.
Vervangingsonderdelen:
BELANGRIJK : Het is verboden andere vervangingsonderdelen dan de
originele vervangingsonderdelen van SANTOS te gebruiken
Bij maandelijks onderhoud benodigt deze machine geen enkel specifiek onderhoud.
Als een ingreep noodzakelijk is om de versleten stukken zoals de bak, het deksel, de
roerstaaf, de afvoerbuis, de elektrische componenten enz. te vervangen, zie dan de lijst
van onderdelen (zie explosietekening aan het einde van de handleiding).
Op de bestellingen van vervangingsonderdelen (zie referenties op de explosietekening
aan het einde van de handleiding), het volgende aangeven :
het type,
het serienummer van het apparaat en
de elektrische kenmerken
aangebracht onderaan het apparaat.

OPHEFFEN VAN STORINGEN
De oorzaak van de stilstand van het apparaat nauwkeurig opsporen
De roerstaven draaien niet:
Controleren of de respectievelijke schakelaars (8) ingeschakeld zijn (positie 1)
Het volgende controleren : de voeding via het stroomnet, de staat van het netsnoer.
Er lekt vloeistof uit de afvoerbuis:
De soepele afvoerbuis (5) schoonmaken (er zit waarschijnlijk een hard voorwerp
vast in de buis).
De soepele buis (5) is geschikt voor voedingsmiddelen. De buis regelmatige
vervangen om hygiënische redenen.
Het apparaat wordt warm:
Ventilatie is noodzakelijk voor een optimale werking van het apparaat.
Controleren of de ventilatieopeningen (10) aan de voor- en achterkant niet versperd
zijn (vrije ruimte minimaal 15 cm).
Controleren of er stof ligt op de rooster van de condensator (schoonmaken met
behulp van een soepele borstel)
o Toegang tot de rooster: de zijpanelen (9) van het apparaat demonteren
De drank is te warm:
Zie hierboven “Het apparaat wordt warm”
In functie van de hoeveelheid frisdrank en de kamertemperatuur moet u soms enkele
uren wachten om de gewenste temperatuur te bekomen.
Als de temperatuur na stabilisatie nog te hoog is, de thermostaten (12) instellen (een
per bak, er wordt aangeraden alle thermostaten gelijk in te stellen)
o Toegang tot de thermostaten: de zijpanelen (9) van het apparaat demonteren
In het geval van een apparaat met meerdere bakken (2 of 3 bakken) wordt het
afgeraden, ten minste, een bak leeg te laten.
o Het ijs zet zich snel af op de verdampingspot (4) en de thermostaat start snel,
waardoor de compressor tot stilstand komt. De andere bakken worden niet
meer gekoeld.
oDe bakken altijd vullen met minimaal 5 cm frisdrank
Het apparaat werkt voortdurend zonder de frisdrank te koelen:
De installatie laten controleren door een koeltechnicus
Het niveau van de koelvloeistof is aangegeven op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.
Het is absoluut verboden de koelgroep te reinigen en te vullen in een lokaal dat niet
voorzien is om deze gassen te regenereren.
Geen ander koelmiddel dan R134A gebruiken.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

SAFETY RULES
When using, maintaining or disposing of the appliance, always make sure the following
elementary precautions are observed.
Read the whole of the information manual
DO NOT:
1. Never remove the paddle while filling.
2. Do not fill the container beyond the 12 litre mark
3. Never allow the appliance to be used without at the least full daily cleaning of
the juice containers
4. Never use an abrasive sponge or an abrasive product to clean the lid (1),
container (2) or the sheet metal casing (10)
5. Do not obstruct the ventilation vents (10) at the front and back of the
appliance.
6. Use only R134A to charge the condensing unit.
7. The base (10) must not be immersed in water
8. For reasons of protection against the risks of electrocution, do not immerse
the base in water or any other liquid.
9. Unplug the appliance before carrying out any work on it: cleaning, upkeep
and maintenance.
10. The use of spare parts other than certified SANTOS original parts is
prohibited.
INSTALLATION.
Install the appliance on a counter which can take the weight of the appliance with the
container full.
Make sure that proper ventilation in the appliance is possible. A free space of a minimum
of 15 cm must be left at the front and back
CARE: Leave the appliance to stand without plugging in the electrical
plug for 12 hours whenever it has been laid down or turned over
during its transport or unpacking.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
The electric power supply for the appliance is available in 3 single-phase voltages:
- 110-120 V 50/60 Hz: 34V1 model
- 220-240 V 50 Hz: 34V2 model
- 220-240 V 60 Hz: 34V4 model
Line protection: the appliance should be connected to a standard 2-pole + earth electric
socket. The system should be fitted with a ground fault circuit interrupter and a fuse rated
at 10A. The appliance must be earthed.
CARE:
Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains electrical
voltage is the same as the voltage for your machine. This value is given:
If the power supply lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a special assembly
available from approved SANTOS dealers or from SANTOS.
TURNING ON FOR THE FIRST TIME (Fig. A ).
Thoroughly clean all parts coming into contact with the food.
Wash with a standard dishwashing product: the lid (2), paddle (3) and juice container
(5).
RECYCLING THE PRODUCT AT THE END OF ITS SERVICE LIFE
This appliance has the recycling symbol marking relating to waste
electrical and electronic equipment. This means that this product must be
processed by a waste sorting system in accordance with Directive
2002/96/CE (WEEE) – Professional Equipment section – so that it can be
either recycled or disassembled in order to reduce any impact on the
environment.

APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION
Refrigerated drinks dispensers No. 34 are of sturdy construction made of stainless
steel plate and unbreakable transparent polycarbonate container and lid, and are
particularly suitable for professional use: Cafés, Hotels, Restaurants, Collective
caterers, etc.
Refrigerated drinks dispensers No. 34 are available with 1, 2 or 3 containers, each of
a capacity of 12 litres
The temperature of each container is controlled by a thermostat which can be set to
between 4 and 12°C. The thermostat is accessible after removal of the side panel.
Except where specifically required, the cooling unit is charged with R134a-type
refrigerant. Before any work, check the type of fluid for your appliance by referring to
the identification plate.
USING THE APPLIANCE
OPERATION:
As for refrigerators, the mains power plug serves as the main switch. The switches (8)
located on the front panel control each paddle.
The time required to cool the drink depends on many factors such as the volume of the
drink, its original temperature, the ambient temperature, and the thermostat setting.
STARTING UP:
Preparation and use:
1. Fill the container (2) up to a maximum of 12 litres. To prepare the drink, follow the
manufacturer's instructions for the product in question. Always put the water in first,
then add the product,
2. Put the paddle switch (8) to 1.
3. Leave the appliance running, even during the night; the condensing unit will stop
when the temperature is reached.
4. However, for good performance, it is recommended that the evaporator (4) is
always left covered and that the paddle is not stopped while there is still some
product in the container.
SETTING THE DRINK TEMPERATURE:
The temperature of the drink is controlled by factory-set thermostats.
Changing that setting is not advised.
In normal operation, warm air should be released from the front or back panel.

However, if it is excessively hot, check the air inlet at the back of the appliance (minimum
15 cm free space).
In any event, if the drink in the container is cold, the appliance is working properly.
CLEANING:
IMPORTANT:
Stop the paddle (3) and unplug the appliance power lead.
Cleaning with a water spray or pressure spray is prohibited
Daily cleaning:
The appliance must be cleaned every day
Remove the juice container and clean with hot water (never an abrasive sponge or
product)
Removing the juice container:
1. Raise the container lid (1).
2. Take off the paddle (3)
3. Remove the container (2) by lifting it to separate it from the evaporator dome.
4. Remove the evaporator seal (7).
5. Take off the tap as follows:
a. Push the lever (11) to release the pourer spout (5),
b. Unscrew the distribution nozzle (6).
Assembling the juice container:
Position the lever assembly (11) in the open
position.
Introduce the distribution nozzle (6) and screw
back in.
Place the evaporator seal (7) on the container
(2).
Put the container in place on the evaporator
(4) and push it fully down.
o To facilitate insertion of the seal, moisten the evaporator dome (4). Or start
up the appliance and wait until frost appears on the evaporator before
pushing the container and seal down

MAINTENANCE
Before any work on the appliance, it is essential to unplug the
appliance from the mains
Monthly maintenance
Once a month: remove any dust from the condenser fins.
To access the condenser: unplug the appliance and unscrew the side panels (9).
Spare parts:
IMPORTANT: The use of spare parts other than certified SANTOS original
spare parts is prohibited
Apart from the monthly maintenance, this machine requires no specific maintenance.
If work is required to replace wear parts such as the juice container, lid, paddle,
distribution nozzle or the electrical or other components, refer to the components list (see
the exploded view at the end of the manual).
For all spare part orders (see references in the exploded view at the end of the manual),
state:
the type,
the appliance serial number and
the electrical specifications
marked on the appliance.

FAULT FINDING
Identify the exact causeof the appliance stoppage
The paddles do not turn:
Make sure that you have indeed actuated (position 1) the respective switches (8)
Check the mains power supply and the condition of the power supply lead.
Liquid drips from the distribution nozzle:
Clean the flexible distribution spout (5) (a solid body is probable stuck inside).
The flexible spout (5) is a consumable. For hygiene reasons, do not hesitate to
replace it regularly
The appliance overheats:
Ventilation is required to ensure the proper performance of the appliance
Make sure that the front and back ventilation vents (10) are not obstructed (leave a
gap of at least 15cm).
Check that there is no dust on the condenser grid (clean using a soft brush)
o Access to the grid: remove the appliance side panels (9)
The temperature of the juice is too high:
See previous section "the appliance overheats"
Depending on the volume of product and the ambient temperature, it is sometimes
necessary to wait several hours before reaching the desired temperature.
If after stabilisation the temperature is inadequate, then adjust the thermostats (12)
(one per juice container; it is recommended that the same setting is used on all the
thermostats)
o Access to the thermostats: remove the appliance side panels (9)
For multi-container appliances (2 or 3 containers), leaving at least one container
with no liquid is not recommended.
o Frost quickly forms on the evaporation cup (4) and the thermostat is quickly
triggered, thus stopping the compressor. The other containers are no longer
cooled.
oAlways fill the containers with a minimum of 5 cm of liquid
The appliance runs continually without cooling the juice:
Have the system checked by a refrigeration engineer
The refrigerant charge is stated on the appliance identification plate.
Draining and filling the condensing unit is absolutely prohibited in any place not
equipped to collect such gasses.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

CONTRE INDICATIONS :
1. Ne jamais enlever l’agitateur pendant le remplissage.
2. ne pas remplir le bac au-delà de la graduation 12 litres
3. Ne jamais laisser fonctionner l’ appareil sans, au moins, un nettoyage
quotidien complet des bacs à jus
4. ne jamais utiliser d’é ponge abrasive ou d e produit a brasif pour nettoyer le
couvercle (1), bac (2) ou le coffre en tôle (10)

INSTALLATION.

cm minimum doit être laissé sur la face avant et sur fa face arrière
ATTENTION : Laisser l’appareil au repos sans brancher la prise de
courant pendant 12h, si lors de son transport ou de son
déballage, il a été couché ou retourné..

BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE :
L'alimentation électrique de l'appareil est disponible en 3 voltages monophasés :
- 110-120 V 50/60 Hz : modèle 34V1
- 220-240 V 50 Hz : modèle 34V2

Protection de ligne : l'appareil doit être branché sur une prise de courant standard 2 pôles
+ terre. L'installation doit être équipée d'un disjoncteur différentiel et d'un fusible calibré à
16A. La mise à la terre de l’appareil est obligatoire.

Avant de brancher l' appareil, vérifier la c oncordance entre la tension

Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un ensemble

1ere MISE EN ROUTE (Fig. A ).
Nettoyer correctement les pièces en contact avec les aliments.
Laver avec un produit vaisselle standard : le couvercle ( 2), l’agitateur (3), le bac à jus
(5).

DESCRIPTION DE L’APPAREIL
D'une construction robuste en tôle d'acier inoxydable, bac et couvercle en
polycarbonate incassable transparent, les Distributeurs de boisson réfrigérée N° 34
sont particulièrement adaptés à un usage professionnel : Cafés, Hôtels, Restaurants,
Collectivités...
Les Distributeurs de boisson réfrigérée N° 34 sont disponibles en 1, 2 ou 3 bacs
d'une capacité de 12 litres chacun
La température de chaque bac est contrôlée par un thermostat réglable entre 4 et
12°C. Le thermostat est accessible après démontage du panneau latéral.
Sauf demande spéciale, le groupe de froid est chargé en fluide frigorigène type
R134a. Avant toute intervention, assurez-vous du type de fluide de votre appareil en
vous reportant à sa plaque signalétique.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
FONCTIONNEMENT :
Comme pour un réfrigérateur, la prise de courant fait office d'interrupteur général. Les
interrupteurs (8) situés en face avant, commandent chaque agitateur.
Le temps nécessaire pour refroidir la boisson dépend de nombreux facteurs tels que la
quantité de boisson, sa température initiale, la température ambiante, le réglage du
thermostat.
MISE EN ROUTE :
Préparation et utilisation :
1. Remplir le bac (2) jusqu'à 12 litres maximum. Pour la préparation de la boisson,
suivre les instructions du fabricant de produit concentré. Verser toujours l'eau en
premier, puis ajouter le produit,
2. Mettre l'interrupteur (8) de l'agitateur sur 1.
3. Laisser fonctionner l'appareil même pendant la nuit, le groupe frigorifique s'arrêtera
lorsque la température sera atteinte.
4. Toutefois pour un bon rendement, il est conseillé, de toujours laisser l'évaporateur
(4) immergé et de ne pas arrêter l'agitateur tant qu'il reste du produit dans le bac.
REGLAGE DE LA TEMPERATURE DE LA BOISSON :
La température de la boisson est régulée par des thermostats pré-réglés en usine.
Il est déconseillé de modifier ce réglage.
En marche normale de l'air tiède doit s'échapper de la face avant ou arrière.

Toutefois si l'échauffement était excessif vérifier la bonne entrée d'air à l'arrière de
l'appareil (espace libre de 15 cm minimum).
En tout état de cause, si la boisson est froide dans le bac, l'appareil marche correctement.
NETTOYAGE :
IMPORTANT :
Arrêter l'agitateur (3) et débrancher le cordon d'alimentation
de l'appareil.
Le nettoyage au jet d'eau ou sous pression n'est pas autorisé
Nettoyage journalier :
Le nettoyage de l'appareil doit être fait tous les jours
Démonter le bac à jus et procéder au nettoyage avec de l’eau chaude (ne pas utiliser
d'éponge ni produits abrasifs)
Démontage du bac à jus :
1. Enlever le couvercle (1) du bac.
2. Oter l'agitateur (3)
3. Enlever le bac (2) en le soulevant pour le séparer du dôme de l'évaporateur.
4. Enlever le joint d'évaporateur (7).
5. Démonter le robinet comme suit :
a. pousser le levier (11) pour dégager le tube verseur (5),
b. dévisser la buse d'écoulement (6).
Assemblage du bac à jus :
Mettre en place l'ensemble levier (11) en position
ouvert.
Introduire la buse d'écoulement (6) et revisser.
Monter le joint d'évaporateur (7) sur le bac (2).
Mettre le bac en place sur l'évaporateur (4) et le
pousser vers le bas à fond.
o Pour faciliter le passage du joint, humidifier le
dôme de l'évaporateur (4). Ou mettre en route
l’appareil et attendre l’apparition de givre sur l’évaporateur avant de pousser le bac
et le joint vers le bas

MAINTENANCE
Avant toute intervention sur l'appareil, il est impératif de débrancher
l'appareil du secteur
Entretien mensuel
Une fois par mois : dépoussiérer les ailettes du condenseur.
Pour l'accès au condenseur : débrancher l'appareil et dévisser les panneaux latéraux
(9).
Pièces détachées :
IMPORTANT : Il est interdit d’utiliser des pièces de rechanges autres que
celles d’origine certifiées SANTOS
Hors l’entretien mensuel, cette machine ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier.
Si une intervention est nécessaire pour remplacer les pièces d'usure telles que le bac à
jus, le couvercle, l’agitateur, la buse d’écoulement, les composants électriques ou autres,
se reporter à la liste des composants (voir la vue éclatée en fin de manuel).
Pour toute commande de pièces détachées (voir références sur la vue éclatée en fin de
manuel), préciser :
le type,
le numéro de série de l’appareil et
les caractéristiques électriques
notés sous l'appareil.

AIDE AU DEPANNAGE
Identifier avec précision la cause de l'arrêt de l'appareil
Les agitateurs ne tournent pas :
Assurer vous d’avoir bien actionné les interrupteurs (8) respectifs (position 1)
Contrôler : l'alimentation secteur, l'état du cordon d'alimentation.
Du liquide goutte de la buse d’écoulement :
Procéder au nettoyage du tube d’écoulement souple (5) (un corps rigide est
probablement coincé à l’intérieur).
Le tube souple (5) est un consommable. Pour des raisons d’hygiène, ne pas hésiter
à le remplacer régulièrement
L’appareil chauffe :
Une ventilation est nécessaire pour assurer un bon rendement de l’appareil
Assurer vous de n’avoir pas obstrué les ouïes de ventilation (10) avant et arrière
(laisser un vide de 15cm, au moins).
Vérifier l’absence de poussière sur la grille du condenseur (procéder au nettoyage à
l’aide d’une brosse souple)
o Accès à la grille : démonter les panneaux latéraux (9) de l’appareil
La température du jus est trop élevée :
Voir la partie précédente « l’appareil chauffe »
En fonction de la quantité de produit et de la température ambiante, il est parfois
nécessaire d’attendre plusieurs heures avant d’obtenir la température recherchée.
Si après stabilisation, la température n’est pas suffisante, alors procéder au réglage
des thermostats (12) (un par bac à jus, il est conseillé d’avoir le même réglage sur
tous les thermostats)
o Accès aux thermostats : démonter les panneaux latéraux (9) de l’appareil
Dans le cas d’un appareil multi-bac (2 ou 3 bacs), il est déconseillé de laisser, au
moins, un bac sans liquide.
o Le givre se fixe rapidement sur le pot d’évaporation (4) et le thermostat se
déclenche rapidement, arrêtant ainsi le compresseur. Les autres bacs ne sont
plus refroidis.
o Toujours remplir les bacs avec 5 cm de liquide au minimum
L’appareil fonctionne en permanence sans refroidir le jus :
Faire contrôler l’installation par un frigoriste
La charge de fluide frigorifique est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil.
Il est absolument interdit de procéder à la purge et au remplissage du groupe
frigorifique, dans tout local non prévu pour récupérer ces gaz.

Depuis le 01.01.95, tous nos appareils sont conformes CE et revêtus du label CE. Notre garantie
est de douze mois à partir de la date de fabrication figurant sur la plaque signalétique. La garantie
est strictement limitée au remplacement gratuit de toute pièce d'origine reconnue par nous
défectueuse à la suite d'un défaut ou d'un vice de construction et identifiée comme appartenant à
l'appareil considéré. Elle ne s'applique pas aux avaries résultant d'une installation ou d'une utilisation
non-conforme aux prescriptions accompagnant chaque appareil (manuel d'utilisation) ou dans le cas
d'un manque évident d'entretien ou de non observation des règles élémentaires de sécurité
électriques. La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas d’usure naturelle. Tout remplacement de pièce
sous garantie est effectué après renvoi de la pièce défectueuse en nos ateliers en port payé,
accompagnée d'une copie de la Déclaration de conformité sur laquelle figure le numéro de série
de l'appareil. Tout appareil est muni d'une plaque signalétique conforme CE et dont un double
figure dans la Déclaration de conformité (N° de série, date de fabrication, caractéristiques
électriques…). En cas d'avarie grave jugée réparable uniquement dans nos ateliers, et après
accord préalable de nos services, tout appareil sous garantie est expédié par le Distributeur en
port payé. En cas de réparation ou reconditionnement d'appareil hors garantie, le transport aller-
retour est à la charge du Distributeur. Les pièces et main-d’oeuvre sont facturées aux tarifs en
vigueur (tarif pièces détachées – tarif horaire – main-d’oeuvre). Il peut être fourni un devis préalable.
Les moulins à café non munis de meules originales SANTOS ne sont pas pris sous garantie. Les
conditions de garantie, réparation, reconditionnement, des moulins à café espresso font l’objet d’une
notice spécifique. Notre garantie ne s’étend pas au paiement de pénalités, à la réparation des
préjudices directs ou indirects et notamment à tout manque à gagner résultant de la non-conformité
ou défectuosité des produits, la responsabilité globale de SANTOS étant limitée au prix de vente du
produit livré et à l’éventuelle réparation des produits défectueux.
En cas de révélation d'une défectuosité pendant la période de garantie, le Distributeur doit, sauf
accord contraire écrit de SANTOS, indiquer à son client, de cesser toute utilisation du produit
défectueux. Une telle utilisation dégagerait SANTOS de toute responsabilité.

SICHERHEITSBESTIMMUNGEN
Bei Benutzung, Wartung und Entsorgung des Geräts ist stets auf die Einhaltung der
folgenden grundlegenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu achten.
Bitte die Anleitung vollständig lesen.
SACHWIDRIGER EINSATZ
1. Den Rührer nie während des Füllvorgangs herausnehmen.
2. Den Behälter nie über die 12-Liter-Markierung hinaus füllen.
3. Das Gerät nie ohne eine z umindest tägliche Komplettreinigung des
Saftbehälters betrieben.
4. Nie einen scheuernden Schwamm oder ein Scheuermittel zum Reinigen vo n
Deckel (1), Behälter (2) oder Blechgehäuse (10) benutzen.
5. Die Lüftungsschlitze (10) auf der Vorder- und Rück seite des Geräts nicht
verstellen.
6. Ausschließlich R134A für das Kühlaggregat benutzen.
7. Das Gestell (10) darf nicht in Wasser getaucht werden.
8. Das Gestell nie in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigk eit tauchen, um
Stromschläge zu vermeiden.
9. Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät den Ne tzstecker ziehen (Reinigung, Pflege,
Wartung).
10. Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet werden.
INSTALLATION
Das Gerät auf einer Arbeitsfläche aufstellen, die das Gerätegewicht mit vollem Behälter
aushält.
Auf die gute Belüftung des Geräts achten. Ei nen Freiraum von mindestens 15 cm auf der
Vorder- und Rückseite des Geräts lassen.
ACHTUNG: Das Gerät 12 h lang nicht ans Stromnetz anschließen und
ruhen lassen, wenn es beim Transport oder dem Auspacken
auf die Seite oder auf den Kopf gestellt wurde.

1. INBETRIEBNAHME (Abb. A)
Die mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommenden Teile ordentlich reinigen.
Mit einem gebräuchlichen Spülmittel reinigen: Deckel (2), Rührer (3) und Saftbehälter
(5).
RECYCLING DES ALTGERÄTS
Das Gerät ist mit dem Symbol für die Mülltrennung elektrischer und
elektronischer Geräte gekennzeichnet. Das Gerät muss gemäß Richtlinie
2002/96/EG (Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte) – Abschnitt Gewerblich
genutzte Geräte – von einer Mülltrennungsfirma übernommen werden
muss, um entweder recycelt oder zerlegt zu werden, um schädliche
Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu vermeiden.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS

Die Kaltgetränkeautomaten Nr. 34 sind robust aus Edelstahlblechen gebaut,
Behälter und Deckel bestehen aus unzerbrechlichem, transparentem Polycarbonat.
Sie eignen sich hervorragend für den gewerblichen Gebrauch in Cafés, Hotels,
Restaurants, Kantinen, usw.
Die Kaltgetränkeautomaten Nr. 34 sind mit 1, 2 oder 3 Behältern à 12 Litern lieferbar.
Die Temperatur jedes Behälters wird über ein von 4 bis 12°C einstellbares
Thermostat geregelt. Das Thermostat ist nach Abbau des Seitenblechs zugänglich.
Ohne besondere Aufforderung wird das Kühlaggregat mit einem Kühlmittel des Typs
R134a geliefert. Vor jedem Eingriff den Kühlmitteltyp Ihres Geräts auf dem
Geräteschild kontrollieren.
BENUTZUNG DES GERÄTS
BETRIEB
Wie bei einem Kühlschrank dient der Netzstecker als Hauptschalter. Die Schalter (8) auf
der Vorderseite betätigen die einzelnen Rührer.
Die zum Kühlen des Getränks erforderliche Zeit hängt von zahlreichen Faktoren ab, z.B.
der Getränkemenge, der Anfangs- und Umgebungstemperatur sowie der
Thermostateinstellung.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Vorbereitung und Benutzung:
1. Den Behälter (2) mit maximal 12 Litern füllen. Zur Vorbereitung des Getränks die
Hinweise des Herstellers des jeweiligen Produkts beachten. Immer zuerst Wasser,
dann das Produkt hinzufügen.
2. Den Schalter (8) des Rührers auf 1 stellen.
3. Das Gerät selbst nachtsüber betreiben, das Kühlaggregat schaltet selbsttätig ab,
wenn die Temperatur erreicht ist.
4. Für gute Leistungen empfiehlt es sich, den Verdampfer (4) immer eingetaucht zu lassen
und den Rührer nicht anzuhalten, solange sich noch Produkt im Behälter befindet.
EINSTELLEN DER GETRÄNKETEMPERATUR:
Die Getränketemperatur wird über werksmäßig voreingestellte Thermostate reguliert.
Von einer Änderung dieser Einstellung wird abgeraten.
Im Normalbetrieb entweicht lauwarme Luft auf der Vorder- oder Hinterseite des Geräts.

Bei exzessiver Erwärmung den einwandfreien Lufteintritt auf der Rückseite des Geräts
kontrollieren (Freiraum mindestens 15 cm).
Wenn das Getränk im Behälter kalt ist, funktioniert das Gerät auf alle Fälle einwandfrei.
REINIGUNG
WICHTIG:
Den Rührer (3) abstellen und das Stromkabel des Geräts
ziehen.
Das Reinigen unter einem Wasserstrahl oder mit Hochdruck ist
nicht zulässig.
Tägliche Reinigung:
Das Gerät muss täglich gereinigt werden.
Den Saftbehälter abbauen und mit heißem Wasser reinigen (keinen Schwamm und
keine Scheuermittel benutzen).
Abbau des Saftbehälters:
1. Den Deckel (1) des Behälters abnehmen.
2. Den Rührer (3) herausnehmen.
3. Den Behälter (2) herausnehmen, dabei anheben, um ihn vom Kegel des
Verdampfers zu trennen.
4. Die Verdampferdichtung (7) herausnehmen.
5. Den Hahn wie folgt abbauen:
a. den Griff (11) schieben, um das Auslaufschlauch (5) freizugeben;
b. die Auslassdüse losschrauben (6).
Zusammenbau des Saftbehälters:
Die Baugruppe Hebel (11) in offener Stellung
einsetzen.
Die Auslassdüse (6) einsetzen und
festschrauben.
Die Verdampferdichtung (7) auf dem Behälter
(2) einsetzen.
Den Behälter auf dem Verdampfer (4)
einsetzen und bis ganz nach hinten schieben.
o Um das Einführen der Dichtung zu erleichtern, den Kegel des Verdampfers
(4) anfeuchten. Oder das Gerät einschalten und das Entstehen von Reif am
Verdampfer abwarten, bevor Behälter und Dichtung nach unten geschoben
werden.
Den Rührer (3) einsetzen.

WARTUNG
Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät muss dieses unbedingt vom Netz
genommen werden.
Monatliche Reinigung
Einmal monatlich: die Flügel des Kondensators entstauben.
Zugriff zum Kondensator: den Netzstecker des Geräts ziehen und die Seitenwände (9)
lösen.
Ersatzteile:
WICHTIG: Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet
werden.
Mit Ausnahme der monatlichen Reinigung erfordert die Maschine keinen besonderen
Unterhalt.
Wenn ein Eingriff zum Austausch von Verschleißteilen wie Saftbehälter, Deckel, Rührer,
Auslassdüse, elektrischen oder anderen Bauteilen notwendig ist, siehe die Liste der
Bauteile (Explosionszeichnung am Ende des Handbuchs).
Bei allen Bestellungen von Ersatzteilen (Artikelnummern siehe Explosionszeichnung
am Ende des Handbuchs) bitte folgende Angaben machen:

HILFE BEI STÖRUNGEN
Die Ursache des Stops des Geräts genau ermitteln.
Die Rührer drehen sich nicht:
Sicherstellen, dass die jeweiligen Schalter (8) betätigt wurden (Position 1).
Überprüfen: Stromversorgung über das Netz, Zustand des Stromkabels;
Flüssigkeit tropft aus der Auslassdüse:
Den Auslaufschlauch (5) reinigen (wahrscheinlich hat sich im Inneren ein Festkörper
festgesetzt).
Beim Auslaufschlauch (5) handelt es sich um ein Verschleißteil. Aus
Hygienegründen den Schlauch regelmäßig ersetzen.
Erhitzen des Geräts:
Für gute Geräteleistungen ist eine Ventilation erforderlich.
Sicherstellen, dass die vorderen und hinteren Lüftungsschlitze (10) nicht verstopft
sind (mindestens 15 cm Freiraum lassen).
Auf Staub auf dem Gitter des Kondensators achten (ggf. mit einer weichen Bürste
reinigen).
o Zugriff auf das Gitter: die Seitenwände (9) des Geräts abbauen.
Zu hohe Safttemperatur:
Siehe den Abschnitt „Erhitzen des Geräts“.
In Abhängigkeit von der Produktmenge und der Umgebungstemperatur sind
manchmal mehrere Stunden notwendig, bis die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht ist.
Wenn die Temperatur nach der Stabilisierung nicht ausreicht, die Thermostate (12)
regeln (eines je Saftbehälter; es wird empfohlen, alle Thermostate gleich
einzustellen).
o Zugriff auf die Thermostate: die Seitenwände (9) des Geräts abbauen.
Im Fall eines Geräts mit mehreren Behältern (2 oder 3), wird selbst von nur einem
Behälter ohne Flüssigkeit abgeraten.
o Schnell setzt sich Reif am Verdampferrohr (4) ab, das Thermostat löst schnell
aus und stoppt den Kompressor. Die übrigen Behälter werden nicht mehr
gekühlt.
o Die Behälter immer mit mindestens 5 cm Flüssigkeit füllen.
Der Behälter ist im Dauerbetrieb, kühlt den Saft aber nicht mehr:
Das Gerät von einem Kältetechniker untersuchen lassen.
Das erforderliche Kühlmittel ist auf dem Geräteschild vermerkt.
Es ist streng untersagt, das Kühlaggregat in einem nicht für das Auffangen der Gase
vorgesehenen Raum zu entleeren oder befüllen.
Nur R134A verwenden.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.
