BELANGRIJKE VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
Wanneer u deze machine of een ander elektrisch apparaat gebruikt, neem dan altijd de
volgende veiligheidsmaatregelen in acht.
Lees de gehele handleiding.
WAARSCHUWINGEN:
1. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt om vast e voedingsmiddelen z oals ijsblokjes of
diepvries producten of droge pr oducten te verwerken, deze z ullen de mo tor
blokkeren of de roerstaven beschadigen.
De vaste v oedingsmiddelen die kunnen worden verwerk t, op de voorwaarde dat
hun hoeveelheid lager is dan 20% met 80% vloeistof zijn :
Fijngehakt ijs
Poeder (oploskoffie, melk ,...)
Zachte ijsbolletjes.
De roerstaven zijn niet ontworpen om fijn te hakken, fijn te malen of te snijden maar
alleen om vloeibare of zalfachtige producten te mixen of te emulgeren.
2. Nooit producten of v oedingsmiddelen toevoegen in de kom tijdens het bereiden
of werking.
3. Nooit de maximale v ulcapaciteit van de k om overschrijden, hierdoor zouden de
producten tijdens het bereiden kunnen overlopen.
De maximale capaciteit van de kom bedraagt 0.560 liter zijnde 19.5 Oz.
4. Het apparaat op een gladde en rechte opper vlakte plaatsen met het oog op de
stabiliteit en de goede werking van de zuignappoten (14).
5. Het is afgeraden het apparaat met een lege kom te laten draaien.
6. Het apparaat niet schoonmaken met een waterstraal of een hoge-druk machine.
7. Om elektrocutie te voorkomen, niet het voetstuk in water of een a ndere vloeistof
onderdompelen.
8. Altijd eerst de steker uit de cont actdoos halen voordat men ingrepen gaat
verrichten op het apparaat zoals schoonmaken, onderhoudswerkzaamheden.
9. Het is verboden andere vervangings delen dan de erkende oorspronkelij ke
SANTOS onderdelen te gebruiken.
Opmerking: Voor het gemak bij het lezen van de volgende paragrafen, verwijzen
wij naar de schema’s aan het eind van de handleiding.

ELEKTRISCHE AANSLUITING :
De elektrische voeding van het apparaat is beschikbaar in twee enkel fase
spanningen :
- 100-120 V, 50/60 Hz
- 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz
Bescherming van de lijn: Het apparaat moet aangesloten worden op een standaard
contactdoos 2 polen + aarde . De installatie moet voorzien zijn van een differentiaal
lastschakelaar en een zekering van 16A. De aarding van het apparaat is verplicht.
LET OP:
op het typeplaatje dat onder aan het apparaat is aangebracht.
op het typeplaatje dat op de laatste pagina van deze handleiding staat.
1ste in werking stelling
De onderdelen die met voedings middelen in contact komen goed schoonm aken (Fig. A,
Fig. B en Fig. C ).
De twee kommen wassen (RVS (1) en plastic (2)) met een standaard afwasmiddel of
in de vaatwasser.
De flexibele roerstaaf (4) die apart meegeleverd wordt op dezelfde manier
schoonmaken.
Voor het schoonmak en van de bolvormige roerstaaf (3) en de deflector ( 5), die op
het apparaat zijn gemonteerd, moet u ze op de volgende manier demonteren:
- De deflector (5) vasthouden en de bolvormige roerstaaf (3) losdraaien.
De bolvormige roerstaaf ( 3) en de deflector (5) wassen met een standaard
afwasmiddel of in de vaatwasser.
Na het wassen de deflector ( 5) en de bolvormige roerstaaf ( 3) opnieuw monteren
zoals volgt :
-De twee platte zijden van de deflector ( 5) doen s amenvallen met die van de
motoras (6).
-De bolvormige roerstaaf (3) vastdraaien.
!
Alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten, cont roleren of de spanning van
het stroomnet overeenkomt met deze van uw apparaat.
Deze waarde staat vermeld:
Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet hij vervangen worden door een
speciale set beschikbaar bij de Maatschappij SANTOS of bij een
erkende SANTOS leverancier.

RECYCLAGE VAN HET PRODUCT AAN HET EINDE VAN DE LEVENSDUUR
Dit apparaat is voorzien van het symbool van de selectieve sortering
betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit betekent
dat dit product verwerkt moet worden door een selectief inzamelingssysteem
conform de richtlijn 2002/96/CE (WEEE) – deel Profe ssionele Apparaten –
zodat het gerecycleerd of uit elkaar gehaald kan worden om de impact ervan
op het milieu te verminderen.
Voor meer informatie kunt u contact opnemen met uw verdeler of met SANTOS.
Voor de v erwijdering of de recyclage van de componenten v an het apparaat, gelieve
contact op te nemen met een gespecialiseerde maatschappij of met SANTOS.
De elektronische producten die niet selectief gesorteerd zijn, kunnen mogelijks een
gevaar betekenen voor het milieu.
De verpakkingsmaterialen moet en verwijderd en gerecycleer d worden conform de
geldende wetgeving.

UW DRINK MIXER N°54
De drink mixer N° 54 is spec iaal ontworpen voor bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants,
cocktailbars, grote keukens, vruchtensapboetieken, banketbakkerijen, ijsbereiders …
De drink mixer N° 54 is bestemd om ver schillende voedingsmiddelen in vloeibare of
zalfachtige vorm te mixen en te emulgeren.
Is ideaal voor het bereiden van :
o drankjes (vruchtensapcocktails, groentesap, punchs, siroop,...)
o drankjes met ijs of fijngestampte ijsblokjes,….
o IJs, Milk-shake, smoothies,….
Het apparaat is samengesteld uit een motorblok geplaatst op een kolom van gegoten
aluminium.
2 kommen worden meegelev erd om de producten op te vang en : een kom v an roestvrij
staal en een kom van doorzichtig plastic. De vorm van de bovenrand van de kommen is
zodanig ontworpen dat zij snel op de koms teun kunnen worden geplaatst waarna het
apparaat kan opstarten.
GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
OPSTARTEN :
1. Het apparaat aansluiten.
2. De stelknop (7) van de motorsnelheid draaien tegen de klok in op de stand lage
snelheid (klein merkteken op de knop die zich voor de bediener bevindt).
3. Een kleine hoeveelheid vloeistof (ongeveer 0.25 liter) op de bodem van de RVS
kom (1) of plastic kom (2) gieten.
4. De RVS kom (1) of plastic kom (2) op de komsteun (8) zetten (werkstand) (Fig.
A), het apparaat zal onmiddellijk in lage snelheid opstarten.
5. De stelknop (7) van de motorsnelheid met de klok mee draaien tot aan de hoge
snelheid (groot merkteken op de knop die zich voor de bediener bevindt).
6. Teruggaan naar de lage snelheid door de stelknop (7) van de motorsnelheid tegen
de klok in te draaien tot de stand lage snelheid (klein merkteken op de knop die
zich voor de bediener bevindt) :
- U hebt nu het volledige snelheidsbereik getest.
7. De kom van de komsteun afhalen, het apparaat komt tot stilstand.
8. Eventueel de handelingen 4,5,6 en 7 opnieuw uitvoeren met de tweede kom.
LET OP :
1. In het begin, dwz als u het apparaat net in gebruik hebt genomen, is het
aangeraden op te starten in lage snelheid om opspatten te voorkomen
(kom te vol).
2. Het wordt afgeraden het apparaat onbelast zonder vloeistof te laten
draaien.

RUSTSTAND
Als de kom (1) of (2) wordt gezet in de tweede stand (lage stand) van de komsteun (8),
dan staat hij in de rust- of stilstand (Fig. E)
OPMERKING :
De emulsies en mix worden in het algemeen verkregen in minder dan 1 minuut.
LET OP :
1. Het apparaat komt tot stilstand als men de kom (1) of (2) van de
komsteun (8) afhaalt, maar de draaibeweging gaat nog enkele
seconden door veroorzaakt door de inertie van de motor : de kom niet
verplaatsen om de roerstaaf (3) of (4) en de deflector (5) niet te
beschadigen.
2. Wachten tot de motor helemaal stilstaat alvorens de kom te
verwijderen om opspatten te voorkomen.
REINIGING :
BELANGRIJK :
Om het apparaat te reinigen, het eerst stopzetten en de steker (9) uit de
contactdoos halen.
Het apparaat mag niet met een waterstraal, onder druk gereinigd worden of
door het in vloeistof onder te dompelen.
In het geval tijdens het bereiden van een drankje of een foute handeling,
voedingsmiddelen of projecties terecht zijn gekomen op de zone waar de
kom wordt geplaatst, op de komsteun (8), moet deze zone zo snel mogelijk
worden schoongemaakt met helder water, dan controleren of de
detectievinger (10) aanwezigheid kom nog naar behoren werkt.
Het aangeraden het apparaat schoon te maken zodra men klaar is met de
werkzaamheden.
Het zal makkelijker schoon te maken zijn als de voedingsmiddelen nog niet zijn
opgedroogd in de kom, op de roerstaaf of op de deflector.

Moeten worden schoongemaakt met een standaard afwasmiddelen of in de
vaatwasser worden gedaan.
Gebruik geen schurende middelen, deze zouden de onderdelen kunnen beschadigen

OPSLAG :
De kommen van RVS (1) en plastic (2) kunnen op elkaar worden gestapeld bij het opslaan
van het apparaat.
ONDERHOUD
Voor iedere ingreep op het apparaat, moet men eerst de steker (9) van het apparaat uit de
contactdoos halen.
Deze machine benodigt geen enkel speciaal onderhoud, de lagers en lagerblokken zijn
levenslang gesmeerd.
Zie, indien een ingreep toch noodzakelijk is om aan slijtage onderhavige onderdelen te
vervangen zoals de roerstaven, de deflector, de elektrische onderdelen enz.., de lijst van
onderdelen (zie explosietekening aan het eind van de handleiding).
VERVANGEN VAN DE ROERSTAVEN EN DE DEFLECTOR:
Demonteren van de roerstaaf (3) of (4) en van de deflector (5)(Fig. A , Fig. B en Fig. C) :
Met de hand de roerstaaf (3) of (4) losdraaien terwijl met de andere hand
de deflector (5) vasthoudt om de de motor in rotatie stil te zetten (6).
Montage van de deflector (5) en de roerstaaf (3) of (4)(Fig. A, Fig. B en Fig. C) :
De deflector (5) monteren door de twee platte zijden te doen samenvallen
met de twee platte zijden van de motoras (6). De roerstaaf (3) of (4) met
de hand vastdraaien.
Vervangingsdelen :
BELANGRIJK: Het is verboden andere dan door SANTOS verklaarde
oorspronkelijke vervangingsdelen te gebruiken.
Aangeven op alle bestellingen voor vervangingsdelen (zie referenties op de
explosietekening aan het eind van de handleiding) :
het type,
het serienummer van het apparaat ,
de elektrische karakteristieken die onderaan het apparaat staan vermeld.

OPLOSSEN VAN STORINGEN
De oorzaak van het stoppen van het apparaat nauwkeurig identificeren.
Het apparaat wil niet opstarten
De volgende punten controleren :
De voeding via het stroomnet, de staat van het netsnoer (9).
Of de kom (1) of (2) naar behoren is geplaatst op de komsteun (8). Met name
controleren of het bovenste deel van de kom niet is beschadigd.
Of de plaats waar de kom (1) of (2) moet worden gezet wel naar behoren schoon is.
Het apparaat stopt plotseling na lange tijd gewerkt te hebben : de motor is erg
warm
De motor wordt beschermd door een ingebouwde thermische veiligheidsinrichting. Bij
oververhitting zal de motor automatisch tot stilstand komen.
Het apparaat buiten spanning zetten (de steker van het apparaat (9) uit de
contactdoos halen).
Wachten tot de motor is afgekoeld (20 tot 45 minuten).
De steker weer in de contactdoos steken en de werkzaamheden opnieuw opvatten
door de kom (1) of (2) op de komsteun (8) te plaatsen.
Het apparaat stopt naar aanleiding van een overbelasting:
Als de motor wordt geblokkeerd (vreemd lichaam, te harde voorwerpen of
voedingsmiddelen die de roerstaaf blokkeren), stop het apparaat automatisch.
Het apparaat buiten spanning zetten (de steker van het apparaat (9) uit de
contactdoos halen).
De RVS kom (1) of plastic kom (2) van de komsteun (8) afhalen en op een werkblad
zetten. .
De voorwerpen of stukjes die de roerstaaf blokkeren verwijderen.
Met de hand de thermische veiligheidsinrichting (10) die zich onder aan het apparaat
bevindt (Fig. F) weer inschakelen.
De te verwerken producten of voedingsmiddelen weer in de kom doen.
De steker in de contactdoos steken en de werkzaamheden hervatten door de kom
(1) of (2) op de komsteun (8) te plaatsen.
De motor draait constant zelfs als de kom niet op zijn plaats op de komsteun
staat
De volgende punten controleren :
De goede werking van de detectievinger (10) van de kom in de komsteun (8).
Of de zone om de detectievinger aanwezigheid kom wel schoon is en zonodig deze
zone schoonmaken (Fig. D) .

De motor werkt maar de snelheidsregelaar van de motor niet
De volgende punten controleren :
Meerdere malen achter elkaar het volledige snelheidsbereik van de motor draaien
met de stelknop van de motorsnelheid (7) (Fig. A).
OPMERKING :
Als de storing niet verdwijnt, het apparaat buiten spanning zetten (de steker van het
apparaat (9) uit de contactdoos halen) en een beroep doen op de onderhoudsdienst of
contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS leverancier.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using, cleaning or maintaining the machine, always follow these instructions:
Read all instructions
IMPROPER USE
1. This appliance is not meant to contain solids such as ice cubes, frozen
foodstuffs or products, dry products that would jam the motor or damage the
mixing heads.
The following solids are accepted in a quantity of less than 20% with 80% liquid:
Crushed ice
Powder (soluble coffee, milk,...)
Balls of soft ice cream.
The mixing heads are not designed to grind, crush or cut but only to mix or emulsify
liquid or smooth foodstuffs or products.
2. Never add products or foodstuffs to the cup during preparation or operation.
3. Never exceed the maximum filling level of the cup which may cause
products or foodstuffs to overflow during preparation.
Maximum capacity of cup: 0.560 liter or 19.5 Oz.
4. Place the appliance on a smooth, non-sloped surface to ensure it is stable
and for the suction feet (14) to adhere properly.
5. You are not advised to operate the appliance with an empty cup.
6. The appliance should neither be cleaned in a jet of water nor with a high
pressure spray.
7. For electrocution risk protection reasons, never plunge the base into water or
any other liquid.
8. Unplug the appliance before carrying out any work on it: cleaning, maintenance
or repair.
9. The use of spare parts other than certified SANTOS original parts is prohibited.

CARE:
Before connecting the machine, check that the mains electrical voltage
is the same as the voltage for your appliance. Its value is shown:
either on the identification plate under the machine.

If the power cable (10) is damaged, it should be replaced by a special
assembly available from approved SANTOS dealers or from SANTOS.
USING FOR THE 1st TIME:
Carefully clean the parts in contact with the food (Fig. A, Fig. B and Fig. C).
Wash the two cups (stainless steel (1) and plastic (2)) with standard washing up
liquid or in the dishwasher.
Wash the flexible mixing head (4) supplied separately.
To wash the mixing head (3) and deflector (5) which are assembled on the
appliance, take them down as follows:
-Hold the deflector (5) and unscrew the mixing head (3).
Wash the mixing head (3) and deflector (5) with standard washing up liquid or in the
dishwasher.
Put the deflector (5) and mixing head (3) back after washing as follows:
-Bring the two flat surfaces of the deflector (5) in register with those of the motor
shaft (6).
-Screw on the mixing head (3).
RECYCLING THE PRODUCT AT THE END OF ITS SERVICE LIFE
This equipment is marked with the selective sorting symbol relating to
wastes from electrical and electronic equipment. It signifies that this product
should be taken over by a selective collection system conforming to the
Guideline 2002/96/EC (WEEE) – part Professional Equipment – so that it
can be either recycled or dismantled in order to reduce any impact on the
environment.

YOUR DRINK MIXER N°54
The drink mixer N° 54 is designed especially for bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants,
cocktail bars, canteens, stores selling fruit juices, cake stores, ice cream parlors.…
The drink mixer N° 54 is designed to mix and emulsify different foodstuffs in liquid
and smooth form.
It is ideal for making:
o drinks (fruit, vegetable cocktails, punches, syrups,...)
o drinks with ice cream or crushed ice,….
o Ice creams, milk shakes, smoothies,…
The appliance comprises a motor unit fixed to a cast aluminum column.
2 cups are supplied to hold the products: one stainless steel cup and one see-through
plastic cup. The top part of the cups has been designed for quick fitting on the cup stand
and start up of the appliance.
USING THE APPLIANCE
START-UP:
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. Turn the motor speed knob (7) anti-clockwise to the low speed position (small mark
on the knob in front of the operator).
3. Put a small amount of liquid (approximately 0.25 liter) into the bottom of the
stainless steel (1) or plastic cup (2).
4. Place the stainless steel (1) or plastic cup (2) on the cup stand (8) (operating
position) (Fig. A) and the appliance starts up immediately at low speed.
5. Turn the motor speed knob (7) clockwise to high speed (big mark on the knob in
front of the operator).
6. Go back to low speed by turning the motor speed knob (7) anti-clockwise to the low
speed position (small mark on the knob in front of the operator).
-You have now tested the whole speed range.
7. Take the cup off the cup stand and the appliance will stop.
8. Repeat operations 4, 5, 6, and 7 with the second cup, if required.
TAKE NOTE:
1. For the first few operations, you are advised to start at low speed to
prevent splashing (cup too full).
2. You are not advised to operate the appliance with no liquid inside the
cup.

IDLE POSITION
Placing the cup (1) or (2) in the second position (lower position) on the cup stand (8) puts
it into the idle or stop position (Fig. E)
NOTE:
Emulsions or mixes are usually obtained in under 1 minute.
TAKE NOTE:
1. The appliance stops when the cup (1) or (2) is removed from its stand
(8), however, a rotation movement does persist for a few seconds due
to motor inertia: do not allow the cup to be off center so as not to
damage the mixing head (3) or (4) and deflector (5).
2. Wait for the motor to stop before removing the cup completely and
avoid splashes.
CLEANING:
IMPORTANT:
When cleaning, stop the appliance and unplug the appliance’s power cord
(9).
The appliance must not be cleaned with a water jet, pressurized water or
immersed.
If, during preparation or incorrect handling, food or splashes have got into
the cup positioning area or on the cup stand (8), you are advised to clean
this area quickly with clean water and check the cup presence detection
finger (10) is working properly.
You are advised to clean the appliance as soon as you have finished using it.
It will be easier to clean if you do not wait until food has dried in the cup, on the mixing
head or deflector.

Do not use abrasive products that could damage the parts.
STORAGE:

MAINTENANCE
Before any servicing of the appliance, it is essential to unplug the appliance from the
mains supply (9).
This machine requires no particular maintenance because the bearings are lubricated for
life.
If any intervention is necessary to replace parts subject to wear, such as the mixing heads,
the deflector, electrical or other components, please refer to the parts list (see the
exploded view at the end of this manual).
CHANGING THE MIXING HEADS AND DEFLECTOR:
Taking down the mixing head (3) or (4) and deflector (5)(Fig. A, Fig. B and Fig. C):
Unscrew the mixing head (3) or (4) by hand holding the deflector (5) to
stop the motor shaft (6) from turning.
Mounting the deflector (5) and mixing head (3) or (4)(Fig. A, Fig. B and Fig. C):
Put back the deflector (5) making the two flat surfaces register with the two
flat surfaces of the motor shaft (6). Screw on the mixing head (3) or (4) by
hand.
Spare Parts:
IMPORTANT: Use of spare parts other than certified original SANTOS
parts is prohibited

FAULT FINDING
Identifying the cause of appliance stoppage precisely.
The appliance does not start
Check:
the mains supply, the condition of the supply cord (9).
the cup (1) or (2) is fitted properly on the cup stand (8). Check in particular that the
top part of the cup is not damaged.
the cleanness of the cup (1) or (2) positioning area.
The appliance stops suddenly after operating for a long time: the motor is very hot
The motor is protected by an integral thermal protection. In the event of overheating, the
motor stops automatically.
Switch off the appliance (unplug the power supply cord (9)).
Wait for the motor to cool down (20 to 45 minutes).
Plug back in and resume work by placing the cup (1) or (2) on the cup stand (8).
The machine stops because of an overload:
If the motor is jammed (foreign body, object or hard foodstuffs blocking the mixing head),
the appliance stops automatically.
Switch off the appliance (unplug the power supply cord (9)).
Take the stainless steel (1) or plastic cup (2) off the cup stand (8) and place it on a
worktop.
Remove the objects or hard bits blocking the mixing head.
Reset the thermal protection device (10) underneath the appliance manually (Fig. F).
Put the products or foodstuffs to be processed back in the cup.
Plug back in and resume work by placing the cup (1) or (2) on the cup stand (8).
The motor runs all the time even without the cup on the cup stand
Check:
the operation of the cup detection finger (10) in the cup stand (8).
the cleanness of the cup presence detection finger area and clean this area if
required (Fig. D).
The motor is running but the speed variation is not working
Check:
go through the whole speed range of the motor with the motor speed knob (7) (Fig.
A) several times.

If one of these problems persists, disconnect the electric power supply (unplug the power
supply cord (9)) and call on someone from the maintenance department or contact an
approved SANTOS dealer.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.

CONTRE INDICATIONS :
1. Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à contenir des éléments solides tels que glaçons,
aliments ou produits congelés, produits secs qui occasionnent un blocage
moteur ou une détérioration des agitateurs.
Les éléments solides tolérés en quantité inférieure à 20% avec 80% de liquide
sont :
Glace pilée ou concassée
Poudre (café soluble, lait,...)
Boules de glace molle.
Les agitateurs ne sont pas prévus pour broyer, concasser ou couper, mais
uniquement pour mélanger ou émulsionner des aliments ou produits liquides ou
onctueux.
2. Ne jamais faire d’ajouts de produits ou d’aliments dans le bol en cours de
préparation et de fonctionnement.
3. Ne jamais dépasser le volume de remplissage maxi du bol sous peine de
débordement des produits ou aliments en cours de préparation.
La capacité maximale du bol est de 0.560 litre soit 19.5 Oz.
4. Poser l’appareil sur un plan lisse et non incliné pour assurer une bonne stabilité
et une bonne efficacité des pieds ventouses (14).
5. Il est déconseillé de faire fonctionner l'appareil avec le bol vide.

BRANCHEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE :
L’alimentation électrique de l'appareil est disponible en 2 voltages
o 220-240V 50/60 Hz monophasé
o 110-120V 50/60 Hz monophasé
Protection de ligne : l'appareil doit être branché sur une prise de courant standard 2 pôles
+ terre. L'installation doit être équipée d'un disjoncteur différentiel et
d'un fusible calibré à 16A. ou à la valeur appropriée selon les codes
locaux d’installation électriques en tenant compte du courant
consommé par l’appareil. La mise à la terre de l’appareil est
obligatoire
ATTENTION :
soit sur la plaque signalétique située sous l'appareil.
soit sur la plaque signalétique apposée sur la dernière page de ce
manuel.
Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un
ensemble spécial disponible auprès d'un revendeur agréé SANTOS ou
auprès de la Société SANTOS.
1ere MISE EN ROUTE
Nettoyer correctement les pièces en contact avec les aliments (Fig. A, Fig. B et Fig. C ).
Laver les deux bols (inox (1) et plastique (2)) avec un produit vaisselle standard ou
au lave-vaisselle.
Laver de la même manière l’agitateur souple (4) et l’agitateur à ailettes (16) fourni
séparément.
Pour procéder au lavage de l’agitateur sphérique (3) ainsi que du déflecteur (5) qui
sont montés sur l’appareil, les démonter de la manière suivante :
-Tenir le déflecteur (5) et dévisser l’agitateur sphérique (3).
Laver l’agitateur sphérique (3) et le déflecteur (5) avec un produit vaisselle standard
ou au lave-vaisselle.
Remonter le déflecteur (5) et l’agitateur sphérique (3) après lavage en procédant de
la manière suivante :
-Faire coopérer les deux plats du déflecteur (5) avec ceux de l’axe moteur (6).
-Visser l’agitateur sphérique (3).

Avant de brancher l'appareil, vérifier la concordance entre
la tension du réseau électrique et celle de votre appareil.

VOTRE DRINK MIXER N°54
Le drink mixer N° 54 est particulièrement dédié aux bars, cafés, hôtels, restaurants,
bars à cocktails, collectivités, boutiques à jus de fruits frais, pâtissiers, glaciers.…
Le drink mixer N° 54 est destiné à mélanger et à émulsionner différents produits
alimentaires sous forme liquide ou onctueux.
Il est idéal pour la préparation de :
o boissons (cocktails de jus de fruits, de jus de légumes, punchs, sirops,...)
o boissons avec crème glacée ou glaçons concassés,….
o Glaces, Milk-shake, smoothies,….
L'appareil est constitué d'un bloc moteur fixé sur une colonne en fonte d'aluminium.
2 bols sont fournis afin de contenir les produits : un bol en acier inoxydable et un bol en
plastique transparent. La forme supérieure des bols permet un positionnement rapide
sur le support de bol et assure le démarrage de l’appareil.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
MISE EN ROUTE :
1. Brancher l’appareil.
2. Tourner le bouton de réglage (7) de la vitesse du moteur dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une montre sur la position petite vitesse (petit repère du bouton devant
l’opérateur).
3. Mettre un peu de liquide (environ 0,25 litre) au fond du bol en acier inoxydable (1)
ou du bol en plastique (2).
4. Positionner le bol en acier inoxydable (1) ou le bol en plastique (2) sur le support de
bol (8) (position travail) (Fig. A), l’appareil démarre instantanément en petite
vitesse.
5. Tourner le bouton de réglage (7) de la vitesse du moteur dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre jusqu’à la grande vitesse (grand repère du bouton devant l’opérateur).
6. Revenir en petite vitesse en tournant le bouton réglage (7) de la vitesse du moteur
dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre sur la position petite vitesse (petit
repère du bouton devant l’opérateur) :
-Vous avez ainsi testé toute la plage de vitesse.
7. Retirer le bol de sur le support de bol, l’appareil s’arrête.
8. Refaire éventuellement les manipulations 4, 5, 6, et 7 avec le deuxième bol.
ATTENTION
:
1. Pour les premières manipulations, il est conseillé de démarrer en petite
vitesse afin d’éviter les éclaboussures (bol trop plein).
2. Il est déconseillé de faire fonctionner l’appareil à vide sans liquide.

POSITION REPOS
La mise en place du bol (1) ou (2) sur la deuxième position (position basse) du support de
bol (8) est une position de repos ou d’arrêt (Fig. E)
NOTA :
Les émulsions et les mélanges sont en général obtenus en moins de 1 minute.
ATTENTION :
1. L’arrêt de l’appareil se produit lorsque l’on enlève le bol (1) ou (2) de
son support (8), mais il subsiste un mouvement de rotation pendant
quelques secondes dû à l’inertie du moteur : Ne pas excentrer le bol
afin de ne pas détériorer l’agitateur (3) ou (4) ou (16) et le déflecteur
(5)
2. Attendre l’arrêt du moteur avant d’ôter totalement le bol pour éviter les
éclaboussures.
NETTOYAGE :
IMPORTANT :
Pour le nettoyage, arrêter l'appareil et débrancher le cordon d'alimentation
secteur (9) de l'appareil.
Il est interdit de nettoyer l’appareil au jet d'eau, sous pression ou par
immersion.
Si en cours de préparation ou au cours d’une mauvaise manipulation, des
aliments ou des projections se sont répandus dans la zone de
positionnement du bol, sur le support de bol (8), il est recommandé de
nettoyer rapidement cette zone à l’eau claire et de vérifier le bon
fonctionnement du doigt de détection (10) de présence du bol.
Il est conseillé de procéder au nettoyage de l’appareil aussitôt le travail terminé.
Le nettoyage sera plus facile si vous n'attendez pas que les aliments aient séché dans
le bol, sur l’agitateur ou sur le déflecteur.

STOCKAGE :
Les bols inox (1) et les bols plastiques (2) sont empilables pour le stockage
MAINTENANCE
Avant toute intervention sur l'appareil, il est impératif de débrancher le cordon
d’alimentation secteur (9) de l'appareil.
Cette machine ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier, les roulements et paliers sont
graissés à vie.
Si une intervention est nécessaire pour remplacer les pièces d'usure telles que les
agitateurs, le déflecteur, les composants électriques ou autres, se reporter à la liste des
composants (voir la vue éclatée en fin de manuel ou à télécharger sur internet
www.santos.fr ).
REMPLACEMENT DES AGITATEURS ET DU DEFLECTEUR :
Démontage de l’agitateur (3) ou (4) ou (16) et du déflecteur (5)(Fig. A , Fig. B et Fig. C) :
Dévisser, à la main l’agitateur (3) ou (4) ou (16) en tenant, avec la main, le
déflecteur (5) pour immobiliser en rotation l’axe moteur (6).
Montage du déflecteur (5) et de l’agitateur (3) ou (4)(Fig. A, Fig. B et Fig. C) :
Monter le déflecteur (5) en faisant coopérer les deux plats avec les deux
plats de l’axe moteur (6). Visser, à la main, l’agitateur (3) ou (4) ou (16).
Pièces détachées :
IMPORTANT : Il est interdit d’utiliser des pièces de rechanges autres que
celles d’origine certifiées SANTOS

AIDE AU DEPANNAGE
L'appareil ne démarre pas
Contrôler :
l'alimentation secteur, l'état du cordon d’alimentation secteur (9).
la bonne mise en place du bol (1) ou (2) sur le support de bol (8). Contrôler en
particulier si le bol n’est pas détérioré dans sa partie supérieure
La propreté de la zone de mise en place du bol (1) ou (2).
L'appareil s'arrête brusquement, après avoir fonctionné longtemps : le moteur
est très chaud
Le moteur est protégé par un protecteur thermique intégré. En cas de surchauffe, le
moteur s'arrête automatiquement.
Mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise du cordon d’alimentation secteur
(9) de l’appareil).
Attendre le refroidissement du moteur (20 à 45 minutes).
Rebrancher et reprendre le travail en positionnant le bol (1) ou (2) sur le support de
bol (8).
L'appareil s'arrête suite à une surcharge :
En cas de blocage du moteur (corps étranger, corps ou aliments trop durs bloquant
l’agitateur), l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement.
Mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise du cordon d’alimentation secteur
(9) de l’appareil ).
Enlever le bol inox (1) ou le bol plastique (2) du support de bol (8) et le poser sur une
table de travail.
Oter les objets ou les morceaux durs bloquant l’agitateur.
Réarmer manuellement le protecteur thermique (10) placé sous l’appareil (Fig. F).
Remettre les produits ou les aliments à travailler dans le bol.
Rebrancher et reprendre le travail en positionnant le bol (1) ou (2) sur le support de
bol (8).
Le moteur fonctionne tout le temps même sans le bol en position sur le support
de bol
Contrôler :
le fonctionnement du doigt de détection (10) du bol dans le support de bol (8).
l'état de propreté de la zone du doigt de détection de présence du bol et si besoin
procéder au nettoyage de cette zone (Fig. D) .
Le moteur fonctionne, mais la variation de la vitesse du moteur ne se fait pas
Contrôler :
faire plusieurs fois toute la plage de réglage de la vitesse du moteur avec le bouton
de réglage de la vitesse du moteur (7) (Fig. A).

Si l’un de ces problèmes persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise du
cordon d’alimentation secteur (9) de l’appareil) et faire intervenir une personne du service

Depuis le 01.01.95, tous nos appareils sont conformes CE et revêtus du label CE. Notre garantie
est de douze mois à partir de la date de fabrication figurant sur la plaque signalétique. La garantie
est strictement limitée au remplacement gratuit de toute pièce d'origine reconnue par nous
défectueuse à la suite d'un défaut ou d'un vice de construction et identifiée comme appartenant à
l'appareil considéré. Elle ne s'applique pas aux avaries résultant d'une installation ou d'une utilisation
non-conforme aux prescriptions accompagnant chaque appareil (manuel d'utilisation) ou dans le cas
d'un manque évident d'entretien ou de non observation des règles élémentaires de sécurité
électriques. La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas d’usure naturelle. Tout remplacement de pièce
sous garantie est effectué après renvoi de la pièce défectueuse en nos ateliers en port payé,
accompagnée d'une copie de la Déclaration de conformité sur laquelle figure le numéro de série
de l'appareil. Tout appareil est muni d'une plaque signalétique conforme CE et dont un double
figure dans la Déclaration de conformité (N° de série, date de fabrication, caractéristiques
électriques…). En cas d'avarie grave jugée réparable uniquement dans nos ateliers, et après
accord préalable de nos services, tout appareil sous garantie est expédié par le Distributeur en
port payé. En cas de réparation ou reconditionnement d'appareil hors garantie, le transport aller-
retour est à la charge du Distributeur. Les pièces et main-d’oeuvre sont facturées aux tarifs en
vigueur (tarif pièces détachées – tarif horaire – main-d’oeuvre). Il peut être fourni un devis préalable.
Les moulins à café non munis de meules originales SANTOS ne sont pas pris sous garantie. Les
conditions de garantie, réparation, reconditionnement, des moulins à café espresso font l’objet d’une
notice spécifique. Notre garantie ne s’étend pas au paiement de pénalités, à la réparation des
préjudices directs ou indirects et notamment à tout manque à gagner résultant de la non-conformité
ou défectuosité des produits, la responsabilité globale de SANTOS étant limitée au prix de vente du
produit livré et à l’éventuelle réparation des produits défectueux.
En cas de révélation d'une défectuosité pendant la période de garantie, le Distributeur doit, sauf
accord contraire écrit de SANTOS, indiquer à son client, de cesser toute utilisation du produit
défectueux. Une telle utilisation dégagerait SANTOS de toute responsabilité.

Wie bei allen anderen elektrischen Geräten, sind auch bei der Verwendung dieses
Gerätes folgende Sicherheitshinweise zu beachten:

SACHWIDRIGER EINSATZ:
1. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Aufnahme von festen Körpern wie Eiswürfeln,
gefrorenen Lebensmitteln und Produkten sowie Trockenprodukten bestimmt, die
zu einem Blockieren des Motors oder einer Beschädigung der Rührer führen
können.
Zu den zulässigen höchstens 20% Feststoffen gehören bei einer Mindestmenge
von 80% Flüssigkeit:
zerstoßenes Eis,
Pulver (löslicher Kaffee, Milch, ...) und
weiche Eiskugeln.
Die Rührer sind nicht zum Mahlen, Zerkleinern oder Schneiden, sondern nur zum
Mischen und Emulsionieren von flüssigen oder sämigen Lebensmitteln bestimmt.
2. Nie während der Zubereitung oder im Betrieb Produkte oder Lebensmittel in
den Behälter hinzugeben.
3. Nie die Höchstfüllmenge für den Behälter überschreiten, ansonsten können die
zubereiteten Produkte oder Lebensmittel überquellen.
Das Fassungsvermögen des Behälters beträgt 0.560 Liter (19.5 Oz).
4. Das Gerät auf einem glatten, nicht geneigten Untergrund aufstellen, damit es
stabil ist und die Saugfüße (14) wirksam funktionieren.
5. Das Gerät sollte nicht mit leerem Behälter betrieben werden.
6. Das Reinigen unter einem Wasserstrahl oder mit Hochdruck ist nicht zulässig.
7. Den Sockel nie in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigkeit tauchen, um
Stromschläge zu vermeiden.
8. Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät den Netzstecker ziehen (Reinigung, Pflege,
Wartung).
9. Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet werden.

die Abbildungen am Ende der Biedienungsanleitung.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS:
Das Netzteil des Gerätes ist für 2 einphasige Netzspannungen erhältlich :
- 100-120 V, 50/60 Hz
- 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz
Leitungsschutz: das Gerät muß an eine Standarddose mit 2 Polen + Erdung
angeschlossen werden. Die Anlage muß durch einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter und eine
16 A Sicherung geschützt sein. Die Erdung des Geräts ist Pflicht. (Abb. B)
ACHTUNG:
entweder auf dem Typenschild (16) unter dem Gerät,
oder auf dem Typenschild auf der letzten Seite dieses Handbuchs.
Wenn das Stromkabel (10) beschädigt ist, muß es durch einen speziellen
Bausatz ersetzt werden, der bei Firma SANTOS oder einem SANTOS
Vertragshändler erhältlich ist.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Die mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommenden Teile ordentlich reinigen (Abb. A, Abb. B
und Abb. C ).
Die beiden Behälter (aus Edelstahl (1) und Plastik (2)) mit einem herkömmlichen
Spülmittel oder in der Geschirrspülmaschine reinigen.
Den extra gelieferten elastischen Rührer (4) auf die gleiche Weise reinigen.
Den auf das Gerät montierten runden Rührer (3) und den Abweiser (5) vor dem
Reinigen wie folgt abnehmen:
- Den Abweiser (5) festhalten und den runden Rührer (3) abschrauben.
Den runden Rührer (3) und den Abweiser (5) mit einem herkömmlichen Spülmittel
oder in der Geschirrspülmaschine reinigen.
Den Abweiser (5) und den runden Rührer (3) nach dem Reinigen wie folgt wieder
anbauen:
- Die beiden Flachprofile des Abweisers (5) mit denen der Motorwelle (6) in
Übereinstimmung bringen.
- Den runden Rührer (3) festschrauben.

Vor dem Anschluss des Geräts die Übereinstimmung der
Spannung der Stromversorgung mit der Gerätespannung
überprüfen. Der Wert ist abzulesen:

RECYCLING DES ALTGERÄTS
Das Gerät ist mit dem Symbol für die Mülltrennung elektrischer und
elektronischer Geräte gekennzeichnet. Das bedeutet, dass das Produkt
gemäß der Richtlinie 2002/96/EG (Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte) –
Abschnitt Gewerblich genutzte Geräte – von einer Mülltrennungsfirma
übernommen werden muss, um entweder recycelt oder zerlegt zu werden
und schädliche Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu vermeiden.

IHR DRINKMIXER NR. 54
Der Drinkmixer Nr. 54 eignet sich insbesondere für Bars, Cafés, Hotels, Restaurants,
Cocktailbars, Kantinen, Stände mit frischem Obstsaft, Konditoreien, Eiscafés, usw..
Der Drinkmixer Nr. 54 ist zum Mischen und Emulsionieren verschiedener
Lebensmittel in flüssiger und sämiger Form bestimmt.
Er eignet sich bestens für die Zubereitung von:
o Getränken (Fruchtcocktail, Gemüsesaft, Punsch, Sirup, usw.)
o Getränke mit Eiscreme oder zerkleinerten Eiswürfeln, ...
o Eis, Milkshake, Smoothies, ...
Das Gerät besteht aus einem Motorblock, der an einem Ständer aus Gußaluminium
befestigt ist.
Zwei mitgelieferte Behälter nehmen das Produkt auf: ein Behälter aus Edelstahl und ein
Behälter aus durchsichtigem Plastik. Die obere Form der Behälter ermöglicht ein
schnelles Einsetzen auf der Halterung und führt zum Start des Geräts.
BENUTZUNG DES GERÄTS
INBETRIEBNAHME:
1. Das Gerät anschließen.
2. Den Schalter (7) zur Drehzahlregelung des Motors gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf die
niedrige Geschwindigkeitsstufe stellen (kleine Markierung des Schalters vor dem
Benutzer).
3. Ein wenig Flüssigkeit (circa 0.25 Liter) auf den Grund des Edelstahl- (1) bzw.
Plastikbehälters (2) geben.
4. Den Edelstahl- (1) bzw. Plastikbehälter auf der Halterung (8) anbringen
(Arbeitsstellung) (Abb. A), das Gerät startet sofort auf niedriger Geschwindigkeit.
5. Den Schalter (7) zur Drehzahlregelung des Motors im Uhrzeigersinn auf die hohe
Geschwindigkeitsstufe stellen (große Markierung des Schalters vor dem Benutzer).
6. Rückkehr zur geringen Geschwindigkeit durch Drehen des Schalters (7) zur
Drehzahlregelung des Motors gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf die niedrige
Geschwindigkeitsstufe (kleine Markierung des Schalters vor dem Benutzer).
- Auf diese Weise haben sie den gesamten Drehzahlbereich getestet.
7. Den Behälter von der Halterung abnehmen, das Gerät stoppt.
8. Eventuell die Schritte 4, 5, 6 und 7 mit dem zweiten Behälter wiederholen.
ACHTUNG:
1. Zu Beginn des Einsatzes wird ein Start auf niedriger Geschwindigkeit
empfohlen, um Spritzer zu vermeiden (Behälter zu voll).
2. Das Gerät sollte nicht leer, ohne Flüssigkeit betrieben werden.

RUHESTELLUNG
Das Einsetzen des Behälters (1) bzw. (2) auf der zweiten Stellung (untere Position) der
Halterung (8) entspricht einer Warte- oder Ruhestellung (Abb. E).
HINWEIS:
Emulsionen und Mischungen werden allgemein in weniger als einer Minute erreicht.
ACHTUNG:
1.Der Stop des Geräts erfolgt, wenn Behälter (1) bzw. (2) von der
Halterung (8) genommen wird; aufgrund der Trägheit des Motors
dauert die Drehbewegung jedoch noch einige Sekunden an: Den
Behälter nicht wegziehen, um die Rührer (3) oder (4) bzw. den
Abweiser (5) nicht zu beschädigen.
2.Den Stop des Motors abwarten, bevor der Behälter endgültig
abgenommen wird, um Spritzer zu vermeiden.
REINIGUNG:
WICHTIG:
Vor dem Reinigen immer das Gerät abstellen und das Stromkabel (9) des
Geräts ziehen.
Das Gerät darf nicht unter einem Wasserstrahl oder mit Druckreiniger
gereinigt werden oder in Wasser eingetaucht werden.
Wenn während der Zubereitung oder bei einer fehlerhaften Betätigung
Lebensmittel oder Spritzer in den Aufnahmebereich des Behälters auf die
Halterung (8) gelangen, wird zu einer umgehenden Reinigung dieses
Bereichs mit klarem Wasser und zur Kontrolle des Fühlers (10) der
Behälterkontrolle geraten.
Es wird empfohlen, die Reinigung sofort nach Beendigung der Arbeit
vorzunehmen.
Die Reinigung gestaltet sich einfacher, wenn Sie nicht warten, bis die Lebensmittel im
Behälter, am Rührer oder Abweiser antrocknen.
Alle Teile:
Edelstahlbehälter (1),
Plastikbehälter (2),
runder Rührer (3),
elastischer Rührer (4) und
Abweiser (5)
müssen mit einem herkömmlichen Spülmittel oder im Geschirrspüler gereinigt werden.
Keine Scheuermittel verwenden, um die Teile nicht zu beschädigen.

LAGE3RUNG:
Edelstahl- (1) und Plastikbehälter (2) können zum Lagern gestapelt werden.
WARTUNG
Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät muß das Gerät durch Ziehen des Stromkabels (9) vom Netz
genommen werden.
Die Maschine ist weitgehend wartungsfrei, die Rollager und Lager sind lebenslang
geschmiert.
Wenn ein Eingriff zum Austausch von Verschleißteilen wie Rührern, Abweiser,
elektrischen oder anderen Bauteilen notwendig ist, siehe die Liste der Bauteile (siehe
Explosionszeichnung am Ende des Handbuchs).
AUSTAUSCH DER RÜHRER UND DES ABWEISERS:
Abbauen des Rührers (3) bzw. (4) und des Abweisers (5) (Abb. A, Abb. B und Abb. C):
den Rührer (3) bzw. (4) von Hand abschrauben, dabei den Abweiser (5)
mit der Hand festhalten, um die Drehung der Motorwelle (6) zu blockieren.
Einbau des Abweisers (5) und des Rührers (3)bzw. (4) (Abb. A, Abb. B und Abb. C):
Den Abweiser (5) einbauen, dabei die beiden Flachprofile mit denen der
Motorwelle (6) in Übereinstimmung bringen. Von Hand den Rührer (3)
bzw. (4) anschrauben.
Ersatzteile:
WICHTIG: Es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von SANTOS verwendet
werden.
Bei allen Bestellungen von Ersatzteilen (Artikelnummern siehe Explosionszeichnung
am Ende des Handbuchs) bitte folgende Angaben machen:
Typ,
Seriennummer des Geräts,

HILFE BEI STÖRUNGEN
Die Ursache des Anhaltens des Geräts genau ermitteln.
Das Gerät springt nicht an:
Überprüfen:
Stromversorgung über das Netz, Zustand des Stromkabels (9);
den korrekten Sitz des Behälters (1) bzw. (2) auf der Halterung (8). Insbesondere
überprüfen, ob der Behälter in seinem oberen Bereich nicht beschädigt ist.
die Sauberkeit des Einsetzbereichs des Behälters (1) bzw. (2).
Das Gerät stoppt nach längerem Betrieb plötzlich: der Motor ist heiß.
Der Motor besitzt eine eingebaute thermische Sicherung. Beim Überheizen schaltet der
Motor automatisch ab.
Das Gerät ausschalten (Netzstecker (9) des Geräts ziehen)
Abkühlen des Motors abwarten (20 bis 45 Minuten).
Wieder anschließen und die Arbeit durch Einsetzen des Behälters (1) bzw. (2) auf
der Halterung (8) wieder aufnehmen.
Das Gerät stoppt nach einem Überhitzen des Motors:
Bei einem Blockieren des Motors (Fremdkörper, zu harte Gegenstände oder Lebensmittel
blockieren die Rührer) stoppt das Gerät automatisch.
Das Gerät ausschalten (Netzstecker (9) des Geräts ziehen).
Den Edelstahl- (1) bzw. Plastikbehälter (2) von der Halterung (8) nehmen und auf
eine Arbeitsplatte stellen.
Die den Rührer blockierenden Gegenstände oder harten Stücke entfernen.
Den unter dem Gerät angebrachten Wärmeschutzschalter (10) von Hand
zurückstellen (Abb. F).
Die zu bearbeitenden Produkte und Lebensmittel wieder in den Behälter
zurückgeben.
Wieder anschließen und die Arbeit durch Einsetzen des Behälters (1) bzw. (2) auf
der Halterung (8) wieder aufnehmen.
Der Motor funktioniert ständig, selbst ohne in die Halterung eingesetzten
Behälter
Überprüfen:
die Funktion des Fühlers (10) für den Behälter an der Halterung (8);
die Sauberkeit des Bereichs des Fühlers für die Behälterkontrolle und falls nötig
diesen Bereich reinigen (Abb. D).
Der Motor funktioniert, nicht aber die Geschwindigkeitsregelung
Überprüfen:
mehrere Male den gesamten Drehzahlbereich über den Schalter der
Drehzahlregelung (7) prüfen (Abb. A).

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.
