contact kunnen komen met voedingsmiddelen.
Gebruikte Europese ge harmoniseerde normen om vermoeden te geven van ove reenstemming
met de essentiële eisen van de hierboven vermelde richtlijnen:
NF EN 12852+A1 : 2010, Machines voor voedingsmiddelen – culinaire bereidingen en
blenders. Voorschriften met betrekkin g tot de veiligheid en de hygiëne.
Deze Europese Norm is een norm van het type C zoals gedefinieerd in de EN ISO 12100. In het
geval de bepalingen van deze norm van het type C verschillen van de bepalingen verm eld in de
normen van het type A o f B, prevale ren de bepalingen van de norm van het type C ov er de
bepalingen van de andere normen. Deze norm verschaft de middelen om te voldoen aan de eisen
van de “machines” Richtlijn nummer 2006/42/CE, (zie bijlage ZA)

BELANGRIJKE VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
Wanneer u deze machine of een ander elektrisch apparaat gebruikt, neem dan altijd de
volgende veiligheidsmaatregelen in acht.
Lees de gehele handleiding.
Opmerking : Voor het gemak bij het lezen van de volgende paragrafen, verwijzen
wij naar de schema’s aan het eind van de handleiding.
WAARSCHUWINGEN
1. Nooit het apparaat zonder vloeistof laten draaien.
2. Dit apparaat niet gebruiken om grote ijsblokj es of diepvries
producten in stukken te snijden. De messen zijn hier niet geschikt voor.
3. Geen droge ingrediënten in de mixer doen voordat men hem in werking stelt.
4. Nooit het deksel ver wijderen als het apparaat niet volle dig tot
stilstand is gekomen .
5. Nooit de kom (1) met toebehoren van het motorblok afhalen als de
motor niet VOLLEDIG tot stilstand is gekomen.
6. Nooit de k om (1) met toebehoren op het motorblok (2) plaats en
als het motorblok in werking is.
ELEKTRISCHE AANSLUITING ;
De voedingsspanning van het apparaat is beschikbaar in twee verschillende
spanningen :
- 110-120 V, 50/60 Hz
- 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz
Bescherming van de lijn: het apparaat moet worden aangesloten op een standaard
contactdoos 2 polen + aarde. De installatie moet voorzien zijn van een differentiaal
stroomonderbreker en een zekering met een kaliber van 16A. De aarding van het
apparaat is verplicht.
LET OP: Alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten, controleren of zijn bedrijfsspanning
overeenkomt met de spanning van uw st roomnet.
Deze bedrijfsspanning staat vermeld:

Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is , moet hij vervangen worden door een
speciale set die bes chikbaar is bij de maatschappij SANTOS of
bij een door SANTOS erkende leverancier.

LET OP: Controleren of de schakelaar aan / uit (6) in de stand 0 staat alvorens de
steker van het netsnoer (7) in de contactdoos van het stroomnet te
steken.

RECYCLAGE VAN HET PRODUCT AAN HET EINDE VAN DE LEVENSDUUR
Dit apparaat is voorzien van het symbool van de selectieve sortering
betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit betekent
dat dit product verwerkt moet worden door een selectief inzamelingssysteem
conform de richtlijn 2002/96/CE (DEEE) – deel Professione le Apparaten –
zodat het gerecycleerd of uit elkaar gehaald kan worden om de impact ervan
op het milieu te verminderen.
Voor meer informatie kunt u contact opnemen met uw verdeler of SANTOS.
Voor de v erwijdering of de recyclage van de componenten v an het apparaat, gelieve
contact op te nemen met een gespecialiseerde maatschappij of met SANTOS.
De elektronische producten di e niet selectief gesorteer d zijn, kunnen mogelijks een
gevaar betekenen voor het milieu.
De verpakkingsmaterialen moet en verwijderd en gerecycleer d worden conform de
geldende wetgeving.

BARMIXER N°33
De barmixer nr 33 is bijzonder geschikt voor bars, café’s, restaurants, cocktail bars,
grote keukens, verse vruchtensappenbars, banketbakkerijen, ijssalons…
Het apparaat is s amengesteld uit een motorblok va n gegoten aluminium en een
verwijderbare mixerkom. De mixerkom bestaat uit een kom me t schaalverdeling van
doorzichtig plastic, een plastic deksel, een doseerdop, een set messen van RVS e n
een koppelsysteem.
De mixer Nr 33 is bestemd voor het m engen van verschillende voedingsproducten in
vloeibare, deegachtige of vast vorm.
Hij is uitermate geschikt voor het bereiden van :
o Drankjes (vruchtencocktails, groentesapjes, punch, siroop, sangria...)
o Kleine hoeveelheden soep, saus, soufflés, groentepurees, vlees- e n
vispâtés, cremes en moes.
o IJsjes, Milk-shake
GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
IN WERKING STELLING :
LET OP : een mixer moet altijd draaien met een minimale
hoeveelheid vloeistof in de kom .
!
Montage en voorbereiding :
1. De naaf-meshouder (7) plaatsen in de moer van de kom (6).
2. De afdichting van de kom (8) plaatsen op de naaf-meshouder (7), er hierbij op
letten dat de afdichting naar behoren op zijn plaats wordt gebracht op de
naaf- meshouder.
LET OP : Het is belangrijk dat men de montagevolgorde van de
verschillende onderdelen in acht neemt zoniet zou het apparaat
ernstige storingen kunnen vertonen (in acht te nemen volgorde : (6)
(7) (8) (5)) (figuur C)..
!
3. De kom (5) vastdraaien en aandraaien op de moer van de kom (6) totdat de
afdichting van de kom zodanig is samengeperst dat het geheel waterdicht is.

4. De kom met toebehoren (1) op het motorblok (2) plaatsen met stilstaande motor

7. Een kleine hoeveelheid
vloeistof of puree in de
kom gieten (totdat de
messen helemaal onder staan) alvorens de niet vloeibare ingrediënten die
gemixt moeten worden toe te voegen. Voor een optimaal resultaat, de niet
vloeibare ingrediënten in stukjes snijden en ze in de kom doen via de opening in
het deksel terwijl de messen draaien.

8. De draaisnelheid van de messen selecteren naar gelang het gewenste resultaat :
- schakelaar in stand 1 = lage snelheid (12 000 tr/mn)
- schakelaar in stand 2 = hoge snelheid (16 000 tr/mn).
9. Het apparaat stilzetten door de schakelaar aan / uit op de stand 0 te zetten.
LET OP : Men mag de kom met toebehoren (1) niet optillen of op zijn
plaats brengen zolang de motor niet HELEMAAL tot stilstand is gekomen,
op straffe van een voortijdige slijtage van het koppelsysteem.
!
SCHOONMAKEN :
BELANGRIJK :
Altijd en immer het apparaat tot stilstand brengen en de stekker van
het apparaat (10) uit de contactdoos halen.
! Tijdens het schoonmaken en om verw ondingen te voor komen, de naaf-
meshouder en de messen heel voorzichtig hanteren .
Het is niet toegestaan de onderdelen schoon te maken met een
waterstraal of met een hoge druk apparaat.
Het motorblok (2) mag niet in water ondergedompeld worden.
Het is aangeraden het apparaat schoon te maken zodra men
klaar is met de werkzaamheden.

Het schoonmaken zal sneller gaan als de achtergebleven stukjes van de
levensmiddelen nog niet zijn opgedroogd in de kom, op het deksel en op de messen.
Ondanks het feit dat de kom (1) met t oebehoren in de vaatwasser kan zonder dat men
hem hoeft te demonteren, raden wij om hy giënische redenen aan de k om (1) met
toebehoren te demonteren en alle onderdelen hiervan apart te wassen, te weten : de
moer van de kom (6), de afdichting van de kom (8), de naaf-meshouder (7), de ko m
zelf (5), het deksel (3) en de dop (4).
Het voetstuk en de bekleding v an het motorblok moeten schoongemaakt worden met
een zachte en vochtige spons en dan worden afgedroogd.
OPBERGEN :
Om ieder risico van snijwondjes te voorkomen, is het aangeraden de naaf-
meshouder (7) in de kom (5) en de moer van de kom (6) te monteren.
Het deksel van de kom niet hermetisch sluiten als het apparaat wordt opgeborgen.
ONDERHOUD
Het is abs oluut noodzakelijk voor iedere ingr eep op het apparaat, de stekker van het
apparaat uit de contactdoos te halen (10).
Vervangingsdelen:
Deze machine benodigt geen bijzonder onderhoud, de lagers zijn levenslang gesmeerd.
Zie in het geval een ingreep noodzakelijk is om slijtage onderdelen te vervangen zoals de
messen, de elektrische compon enten of andere onderdelen, de lij st van onderdelen (zie
explosietekening aan het eind van de handleiding).
Wij verzoeken u op alle bestellingen van verv angingsdelen, het type, het serienummer en
de elektrische karakteristieken die vermeld staan aan de onderzij de van het apparaat, te
noteren.
Op de bestellingen van vervangingsonderdelen (zie referenties op de explosietekening
aan het einde van de handleiding) het volgende aangeven :
het type,
het serienummer van het apparaat en
de elektrische kenmerken
vermeld onderaan het apparaat.
Vervangen van het koppelsysteem :
BELANGRIJK : (Fig. D).
Het drijfgedeelte (motor) (11) is van soepel rubber.
Het ontvangende gedeelte (messen) (12) is van hard plastic.

Demonteren van het drijfgedeelte (motor) : (Fig. E)
1. Het motorblok op zijn kant leggen .
2. De draaibeweging van het drijfgedeelte van rubber blokkeren. Men kan hiervoor de
naaf-meshouder (7) met de vaste koppeling (12) gebruiken. Neem een dikke doek
om de messen op hun plaats te houden zonder u te snijden.
3. Via het c entrale gaatje in de st aalplaat aan de achterzijde, een platte
schroevedraaier steken in de gleuf van de drijfas (13).
4. De schroevedraaier met de klok mee dr aaien om de motorkoppeling los te draaien
(spoed naar links).

Monteren van het drijfgedeelte (motor) (Fig. F) :
1. Het motorblok (2) op zijn poten zetten .
2. Met de hand de soepele koppeling op de drijfas schroeven (14), tegen de klok in
(spoed naar links).
Naar gelang de versie van de drijfas (er zijn er meerdere), kan het soms nodig zijn een
lage moer aan te brengen op de drijfas alvor ens de soepele koppeling op zijn plaats te
brengen (Fig. G)
Als "D" groter is dan 3mm, is het niet nodig een lage moer aan te brengen.
Als "D" kleiner is dan 3mm, dan moet een lage moer aangebrac ht worden (spoed
naar links) op de drijfas, daarna de soepele koppeling (11) vastschroeven.
!
Demonteren van het ontvangende gedeelte (messen) :
1. De messen op hun plaats houden met een dikke doek
(LET OP : snijwonden mogelijk).
2. Met een tang de vaste koppeling beet pakken en losdraaien met de klok mee
(spoed naar links).

Monteren van het ontvangende gedeelte (messen) (Fig. H) :
1. De messen op hun plaats houden met een dikke doek
(LET OP: snijwonden mogelijk).
2. De lage moer (19) (spoed naar links) aanbr engen in het zesho ekige
vakje van de koppeling van hard plastic (12).
3. Met inachtneming van de volgende volgorde op de as van de messen (15), het fijne
onderlegringetje van RVS (16) en dan het vezel onderlegringetje (17) en tenslotte
het brede onderlegringetje van RVS (18) aanbrengen.
4. De koppeling (12) vastschroeven tegen de klok in (spoed naar links).

OPHEFFEN VAN STORINGEN
De oorzaak van de storing van het apparaat opsporen.
Het apparaat wil niet starten :
De volgende punten controleren : de voeding via het stroomnet , de staat van het
netsnoer (10)
Het apparaat stopt ten gevolge van een oververhitting van de motor : (het motorblok
is warm)
De motor wordt beschermd door een geïntegreerde thermische beveiliging. Bij
oververhittinig stopt de motor.
De schakelaar aan / uit (9) op de stand 0 zetten, de stekker uit de contactdoos halen.
Wachten tot de motor is afgekoeld (20 tot 45 minuten), dan drukken op de
schakelaar Aan / Uit (9) (stand 1).
Als de storing niet verdwijnt, de stekker van het apparaat uit de cont actdoos halen (10) en
de hulp inr oepen van de servicedienst of contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS
leverancier.
Het apparaat stopt ten gevolge van een overbelasting :
Als de motor geblokk eerd raakt (vreemd v oorwerp, te harde ingr ediënten die de mess en
blokkeren), kan hij heel snel oververhit raken en dan treedt de thermische beveiliging in
werking.
De stekker van het apparaat uit de contactdoos halen (10).
De schakelaar aan / uit (9) op stand 0 zetten.
De kom (1) met toebehoren van het motorblok (2) afhalen en zetten op het aanrecht
of een tafel.
Het deksel (3) van de kom afhalen en met een lang en dun voorwerp de harde
stukjes die de messen blokkeren lospeuteren.
De kom (1) met toebehoren weer op het motorblok plaatsen en het apparaat in
werking stellen.
Als de messen opnieuw geblokkeerd raken, de inhoud van de kom uit de kom
verwijderen en de ingrediënten in nog kleinere stukjes snijden.
Als de storing niet verdwijnt, de stekker van het apparaat uit de cont actdoos halen (10) en
de hulp inr oepen van de servicedienst of contact opnemen met een erkende SANTOS
leverancier.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using, cleaning or maintaining the machine, always follow these instructions:
Read all instructions
DO NOT: 1. Never operate the appliance when it is empty.
2. Do not use this appliance to crush big ice cubes or frozen foods.
The knives are not meant for this.
3. Do not insert dry ingredients into the mixer before switching it on.
4. Do not remove the lid before the appliance has stopped completely.
5. Never remove the bowl assembly (1) from the motor unit before
the motor has stopped COMPLETELY.
6. Never fit the bowl assembly (1) onto the motor unit (2) when
it is in operation.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
The appliance's power supply is available in two single phase voltages:
- 110-120 V, 50/60 Hz
- 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz
Line protection: the appliance must be connected to a standard 2 pole + earth socket. The
set-up must be fitted with a differential circuit breaker and a 16A fuse. The appliance
must be earthed.
TAKE CARE:
Before connecting the machine, check that the mains electrical voltage
is the same as the voltage for your appliance. Its value is shown:
either on the identification plate under the machine.
or on the identification plate on the last page of this manual.
If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced with a special unit
available from SANTOS or a SANTOS-approved dealer.
TAKE CARE: Check that the On / Off switch (6) is in the 0 position before connecting the
power cable plug to your mains electric power socket.

USING FOR THE 1st TIME
Thoroughly clean all parts in contact with the food (Fig. A).

Remove the bowl (1) from the motor unit (2).
Take off the lid (3) and the cap (4) and
wash them with a standard dish
washing product.
Unscrew the bowl (5) from the nut (6)
turning it counter-clockwise (right-hand
thread) (Fig. B).

with the sharp knives, remove the

RECYCLING THE PRODUCT AT THE END OF ITS SERVICE LIFE
This appliance has the recycling symbol marking relating to waste electrical
and electronic equipment. This means that this product must be processed
by a waste sorting system in accordance with Directive 2002/96/CE (WEEE)
– Professional Equipment section – so that it can be either recycled or
disassembled in order to reduce any impact on the environment.
For further information, please contact your dealer or SANTOS..
For the disposal or recycling of the appliance components, please refer to a specialist
company or contact SANTOS.
Electronic products which have not been out-sorted are potentially dangerous for the
environment.
The packaging material should be disposed of or recycled in accordance with regulations
in force.

YOUR BAR MIXER N°33
The bar mixer N° 33 is designed especially for bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants,
cocktail bars, canteens, stores selling fruit juices, cake stores, ice cream parlors.…
The appliance comprises a cast aluminum motor unit and a removable mixing bowl.
This is made up of a transparent plastic graduated bowl, a plastic lid, a measuring
cap, a set of stainless steel knives and a coupling system.
The mixer N° 33 is designed to mix different foodstuffs in the form of liquids, doughs
or solids.
It is ideal for making:
o drinks (fruit, vegetable cocktails, punches, syrups, sangria...)
o small quantities of soup, sauces, soufflés, puréed vegetables, meat and fish
pâtés, creams, stewed fruit.
o Ice creams, milk shakes
Using the MIXER
START-UP:
ATTENTION : a mixer must always be used with a minimum
of liquid in the bowl.

Assembly and preparation:
1. Place the knife hub (7) into the bowl nut (6).
2. Fit the bowl seal (8) onto the knife hub (7), making sure that the seal is seated
properly on the knife hub.
ATTENTION: It is important to duly adhere to the assembly order of the
elements to prevent serious malfunctioning of the appliance (adhere to: (6) (7)
(8) (5)) (fig C).

3. Screw and tighten the bowl

6. Check that the on / off switch
(9) is in position 0 before
plugging in the power cable

7. Add a minimum of liquid or purée (until the knives are completely covered)
before adding the solid ingredients to be mixed. For best results, dice up the
solid ingredients and insert them through the hole in the lid when the knives are
rotating.
8. Select the knife rotation speed depending on the work desired:
- switch to position 1 for low speed (12,000 rpm)
- switch to position 2 for high speed (16,000 rpm).
9. Switch off the appliance by setting the on / off switch to position 0.
ATTENTION: It is important not to remove the bowl assembly (1) or
to fit it before the motor is stopped COMPLETELY to prevent
premature wearing of the coupling system.

CLEANING:
IMPORTANT:
In all cases, stop the appliance and unplug the power cable (10).
! To avoid injuring yourself when cleaning, handle the knife hub and the
knives carefully.
The appliance should neither be cleaned in a jet of water nor with
a high pressure spray
The motor unit (2) must not be immersed in water.
You are advised to clean the appliance as soon as it has finished being used.
It will be easier to clean if you do not allow the remaining scraps of food to dry in the
bowl, lid or on the knives.
Although the bowl assembly (1) can be washed in a dish-washer without being
dismantled, for optimum hygiene, you are advised to dismantle the bowl assembly (1)
and wash all the components separately: bowl nut (6), bowl seal (8), knife hub (7), bowl
(5), lid (3) and cap (4).
The base and outside of the motor unit should be cleaned with a soft, damp sponge,
then dried.
STORAGE:
To prevent cuts, you are advised to replace the knife hub (7) back into the bowl (5)
and the bowl nut (6)
Do not fit the lid of the bowl airtight when the appliance is stored away.
This machine requires no particular maintenance because the bearings are lubricated for
life.
If any intervention is necessary to replace parts subject to wear, such as the knives, the
electrical or other components, please refer to the parts lists (see the exploded view at the
end of this manual).

MAINTENANCE
Prior to carrying out any intervention on the appliance, it must be
disconnected from the mains without fail (10).
!
Spare parts:
This machine requires no particular maintenance because the bearings are lubricated for
life.
If any intervention is necessary to replace parts subject to wear, such as the knives, the
electrical or other components, please refer to the parts lists (see the exploded view at the
end of this manual)..
For all spare part orders state:
the type,
the machine serial number and
the electrical specifications
recorded under the machine.
Changing the coupling system:
!IMPORTANT: (Fig. D).
The drive part (motor) (11) is made of flexible rubber.
The receiver part (knives) (12) is made of hard plastic.

1. Lay the motor unit down on its side.
2. Stop the rotation of the rubber drive part. You can use the knife hub (7) fitted with
the rigid coupling (12). Use a thick cloth to hold the knives to prevent you from
getting cut.
3. Via the central hole of the base plate, put a flat-ended screwdriver into the groove
of the motor shaft (13).
4. Turn the screwdriver clockwise to unscrew the motor coupling (left-hand thread).

1. Fit the motor unit (2) onto its legs.
2. By hand, screw the flexible coupling onto the motor shaft (14) anti-clockwise (left-
hand thread).

Depending on the model of the motor shaft, you may sometimes have to screw a low nut
onto the motor shaft before screwing on the flexible coupling. (Fig. G)
If "D" is greater than 3 mm, do not screw on a low nut.
If "D" is less than 3 mm screw a low nut (left-hand thread) onto the motor shaft then
screw on the flexible coupling (11).

Dismantling the receiver part (knives):
1. With a thick cloth, hold the knives (BE CAREFUL there is a risk of cutting yourself).

2. With pliers, catch the rigid coupling and unscrew it clockwise (left-hand thread).

Assembling the receiver part (knives) (Fig. H):
1. With a thick cloth, hold the knives (BE CAREFUL there is a risk of cutting yourself).

2. Fit the low nut (19) (left-hand thread) into the hexagonal housing of the hard plastic
coupling (12).
3. Adhering to this order, put the knives (15) back on the shaft, the thin, stainless steel
washer (16) then the fiber washer (17) and finally the wide stainless steel washer
(18).
4. Screw up the coupling (12) counter-clockwise (left hand thread).

TROUBLESHOOTING
Identifying the cause of appliance stoppage with precision.
The appliance does not start:
Check: the mains supply, the condition of the supply cord (10).
The appliance stops after the motor has overheated: (the motor unit is hot)
The motor is protected by a built-in cut-out system. If it overheats the motor stops.
Turn the On Off switch (9) to position 0, take out the plug.
Wait for the motor to cool down (20 to 45 minutes), then turn the On / Off switch (9)
on (position 1).

If the problem persists, switch off the power supply to the machine (unplug the power
supply cord (10)) and call in the maintenance service or contact a SANTOS-approved
dealer.
The appliance stops following an overload:
If the motor jams (foreign body, matter or food too hard jamming the knives), it may heat
up very quickly and cut out due to overheating.
Switch off the appliance (unplug the power supply cord (10))
Switch the on / off switch (9) to position 0.
Remove the bowl assembly (1) from the motor unit (2) and place it on a work top.
Remove the lid (3) from the bowl and with a long, thin object, shift the hard bits
jamming the knives.
Put back the bowl assembly (1) onto the motor unit and switch back on.
If the knives get jammed again, empty the bowl and cut the food up into small pieces.
If the problem persists, switch off the power supply to the machine (unplug the power
supply cord (10)) and call in the maintenance service or contact a SANTOS-approved
dealer.
The motor runs but the knives do not rotate:

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.

CONTRE INDICATIONS
1. Ne jamais faire fonctionner l'appareil à vide.
!2. Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour écraser de gros glaçons ou aliments
congelés. Les couteaux ne sont pas prévus pour cet usage.
3. Ne pas placer les ingrédients secs dans le mixer avant de le mettre
en marche.
4. Ne pas retirer le couvercle avant l'arrêt complet de l'appareil.
5. Ne jamais soulever l'ensemble bol (1) du bloc moteur avant l'arrêt
TOTAL du moteur.
6. Ne jamais mettre l'ensemble bol (1) en place sur le bloc moteur (2)
pendant que celui-ci est en marche.
BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE ;

Protection de ligne : l'appareil doit être branché sur une prise de courant standard 2 pôles
+ terre. L'installation doit être équipée d'un disjoncteur différentiel et d'un fusible calibré à
16A. La mise à la terre de l’appareil est obligatoire.
ATTENTION :
Avant de brancher l' appareil, vérifier la c oncordance entre la tension
du réseau électrique et celle de votre appareil. Sa valeur est indiquée :
soit sur la plaque signalétique située sous l'appareil.
soit sur la plaque signalétique apposée sur la dernière page de ce manuel.
Si le câble d'alimentation (10) est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un ensemble
spécial disponible auprès d'un revendeur agréé SANTOS ou aupr ès de la Société

VOTRE MIXER DE BAR N°33
Le mixer de bar N° 33 est particulièrement dédié aux bars, cafés, hôtels, restaurants,
bars à cocktails, collectivités, boutiques à jus de fruits frais, pâtissiers, glaciers.…
L'appareil est constitué d'un bl oc moteur en fonte d'alum inium et d'un bol de mixage
amovible. Ce dernier est composé d' un bol gradué en plastique transparent, d'un
couvercle en plastique, d' un bouchon doseur, d'un ensemble de couteaux en ac ier
inoxydable et d'un système d'accouplement.
Le mixer N° 33 est destiné à mélanger différents produits alimentaires sou s forme
liquide, pâteuse ou solide.
Il est idéal pour la préparation de :
o boissons (cocktails de fruits, de légumes, punchs, sirops, sangria...)
o de petites quantités de potages, sauces , soufflés, purées de légumes, pâtés
de viande et de poisson, crèmes, compotes.

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL

minimum de liquide dans le bol.
Montage et préparation :

1. Placer le moyeu porte couteaux (7) dans l'écrou de bol (6).
2. Placer le joint de bol (8) sur le moyeu porte couteaux (7), en vous assurant que le
joint est correctement plaqué sur le moyeu porte couteaux .
ATTENTION : Il est important de bien respecter l'ordre de montage
des éléments sous peine de graves dysfonctionnements de

réaliser l'étanchéité en

7. Introduire un minimum de
liquide ou de purée (jusqu'à ce que les couteaux soient totalement immergés)
avant d'y ajouter les ingrédients solides à mixer. Pour un meilleur résultat,
couper les ingrédients solides en cubes et les engager par l'orifice du couvercle
pendant que les couteaux tournent.

8. Choisir la vitesse de rotation des couteaux en fonction du travail recherché :
- interrupteur en position 1 pour une petite vitesse (12 000 tr/mn)
- interrupteur en position 2 pour une grande vitesse (16 000 tr/mn).
9. Arrêter l'appareil en plaçant l'interrupteur marche / arrêt sur la position 0.
ATTENTION : Il est important de ne pas soulever l'ensemble bol (1)
ou de le mettre en place avant l'arrêt TOTAL du moteur sous peine
d'une usure prématurée du système d'accouplement.

NETTOYAGE :
IMPORTANT :
Dans tous les cas, arrêter l'appareil et débrancher le cordon
d'alimentation de l'appareil (10).
! Pendant le nettoyage, pour ne pas vous blesser, manipuler avec
précaution le moyeu porte couteaux et les couteaux.
Le nettoyage au jet d'eau ou sous pression n'est pas autorisé
Le bloc moteur (2) ne doit pas être plongé dans l'eau.
Il est conseillé de procéder au nettoyage de l’appareil aussitôt le travail terminé.
Le nettoyage sera plus facile si vous n'attendez pas que les aliments aient séchés
dans le bol, le couvercle, ou sur les couteaux.
Même si l'ensemble bol (1) peut être lavé en lave vaisselle sans être démonté, il est
conseillé, pour une meilleure hygiène, de démonter l'ensemble bol (1) et de laver
séparément tous les éléments le constituant : l'écrou de bol (6), le joint de bol (8), le
moyeu porte couteaux (7), le bol (5), le couvercle (3) et le bouchon (4).
Le socle et l’habillage du bloc moteur seront nettoyés avec une éponge douce humide,
puis séchés.
STOCKAGE :
Afin de réduire les risques de coupure, il est conseillé de remonter le moyeu porte
couteaux (7) dans le bol (5) et l'écrou de bol (6)
Ne pas fermer hermétiquement le couvercle du bol lorsque l'appareil est rangé.
MAINTENANCE
Avant toute intervention sur l'appareil, il est impératif de débrancher l'appareil du
secteur(10).
Pièces détachées :
Cette machine ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier, les roulements et paliers sont
graissés à vie.
Si une intervention est nécessaire pour remplacer les pièces d'usure telles que les
couteaux, les composants électriques ou autres, se reporter à la liste des composants
(voir la vue éclatée en fin de manuel).
Pour toute commande de pièces détachées (voir références sur la vue éclatée en fin de
manuel), préciser :
le type,
le numéro de série de l’appareil et
les caractéristiques électriques
notés sous l'appareil.

1. Coucher le bloc moteur sur le côté.
2. Immobiliser en rotation la partie motrice en caoutchouc. Il est possible d'utiliser le
moyeu porte couteaux (7) équipé de l'accouplement rigide (12). Utilisez un gros
chiffon pour maintenir les couteaux et éviter de vous couper.
3. Par le trou central de la tôle de fond, placer un tournevis plat dans la rainure de
l'axe moteur (13).
4. Tourner le tournevis dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour dévisser
l'accouplement moteur (pas à gauche).

En fonction des différentes versions d'axe de moteur, il est parfois nécessaire de visser un
écrou bas sur l'axe moteur avant de visser l'accouplement souple. (Fig. G)
Si "D" est supérieure à 3mm alors, il ne faut pas visser d'écrou bas.
Si "D" est inférieure à 3mm alors il faut viser un écrou bas (pas à gauche) sur l'axe
moteur puis viser l'accouplement souple (11).

4. Visser l'accouplement (12) en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une
montre (pas à gauche).

AIDE AU DEPANNAGE
Identifier avec précision la cause de l'arrêt de l'appareil.
L'appareil ne démarre pas :
Contrôler : l'alimentation secteur, l'état du cordon d'alimentation (10).
L'appareil s'arrête suite à une chauffe moteur : (le bloc moteur est chaud)
Le moteur est protégé par un protecteur thermique intégré. En cas de surchauffe, le
moteur s'arrête.
Actionner l’interrupteur Marche Arrêt (9) sur la position 0, débrancher la prise de
courant.
Attendre le refroidissement du moteur (20 à 45 minutes), puis appuyer sur
l’interrupteur Marche / Arrêt (9) (position 1).
Si le problème persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise du cordon
secteur (10)) et faire intervenir une personne du service de maintenance ou contacter un
revendeur agréé SANTOS.
L'appareil s'arrête suite à une surcharge :
En cas de blocage du moteur (corps étranger, corps ou aliments trop durs bloquant les
couteaux), il peut chauffer très rapidement et se mettre en sécurité surchauffe.
Mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise du cordon secteur (10))
Basculer l'interrupteur marche / arrêt (9) sur la position 0.
Enlever l'ensemble bol (1) du bloc moteur (2) et le poser sur une table de travail.
Oter le couvercle (3) du bol et avec un objet long et fin, déplacer les morceaux durs
bloquant les couteaux.
Replacer l'ensemble bol (1) sur le bloc moteur et remettre en marche.
Si les couteaux se bloquent à nouveau, vider le contenu du bol et recouper les
aliments en plus petits morceaux.
Si le problème persiste, mettre l’appareil hors tension (débrancher la prise du cordon
secteur (10)) et faire intervenir une personne du service de maintenance ou contacter un
revendeur agréé SANTOS.

Depuis le 01.01.95, tous nos appareils sont conformes CE et revêtus du label CE. Notre garantie
est de douze mois à partir de la date de fabrication figurant sur la plaque signalétique. La garantie
est strictement limitée au remplacement gratuit de toute pièce d'origine reconnue par nous
défectueuse à la suite d'un défaut ou d'un vice de construction et identifiée comme appartenant à
l'appareil considéré. Elle ne s'applique pas aux avaries résultant d'une installation ou d'une utilisation
non-conforme aux prescriptions accompagnant chaque appareil (manuel d'utilisation) ou dans le cas
d'un manque évident d'entretien ou de non observation des règles élémentaires de sécurité
électriques. La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas d’usure naturelle. Tout remplacement de pièce
sous garantie est effectué après renvoi de la pièce défectueuse en nos ateliers en port payé,
accompagnée d'une copie de la Déclaration de conformité sur laquelle figure le numéro de série
de l'appareil. Tout appareil est muni d'une plaque signalétique conforme CE et dont un double
figure dans la Déclaration de conformité (N° de série, date de fabrication, caractéristiques
électriques…). En cas d'avarie grave jugée réparable uniquement dans nos ateliers, et après
accord préalable de nos services, tout appareil sous garantie est expédié par le Distributeur en
port payé. En cas de réparation ou reconditionnement d'appareil hors garantie, le transport aller-
retour est à la charge du Distributeur. Les pièces et main-d’oeuvre sont facturées aux tarifs en
vigueur (tarif pièces détachées – tarif horaire – main-d’oeuvre). Il peut être fourni un devis préalable.
Les moulins à café non munis de meules originales SANTOS ne sont pas pris sous garantie. Les
conditions de garantie, réparation, reconditionnement, des moulins à café espresso font l’objet d’une
notice spécifique. Notre garantie ne s’étend pas au paiement de pénalités, à la réparation des
préjudices directs ou indirects et notamment à tout manque à gagner résultant de la non-conformité
ou défectuosité des produits, la responsabilité globale de SANTOS étant limitée au prix de vente du
produit livré et à l’éventuelle réparation des produits défectueux.
En cas de révélation d'une défectuosité pendant la période de garantie, le Distributeur doit, sauf
accord contraire écrit de SANTOS, indiquer à son client, de cesser toute utilisation du produit
défectueux. Une telle utilisation dégagerait SANTOS de toute responsabilité.

WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Wie bei allen anderen elektrischen Geräten, sind auch bei der Verwendung dieses
Gerätes folgende Sicherheitshinweise zu beachten:
Alle Anweisungen lesen.
Hinweis: Zum leichteren Verständnis der folgenden Abschnitte verweisen wir auf
die Abbildungen am Ende des Handbuches.
SACHWIDRIGER EINSATZ
1. Gerät nie leer laufen lassen.
2. Gerät nie zum Zerkleinern von großen Eiswürfeln oder Tiefgefrorenem
benutzen. Die Messer sind nicht dazu vorgesehen.
!3. Keine trockenen Zutaten vor dem Einschalten in den Mixer geben.
4. Die Abdeckung nicht entfernen, bevor das Gerät völlig zum Stillstand
gekommen ist.
5. Nie den Behälterteil (1) vor dem VÖLLIGEN Stillstand des Motors vom
Motorblock heben.
6. Nie den Behälterteil (1) auf den Motorblock (2) setzen, wenn dieser läuft.
ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS:
Das Netzteil des Geräts ist in 2 Wechselstrom Netzspannungen erhältlich:
- 110-120 V, 50/60 Hz
- 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz
Leitungsschutz: das Gerät muss an eine Standarddose mit 2 Polen + Erdung
angeschlossen werden. Die Anlage muss durch einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter und eine
16 A Sicherung geschützt sein. Die Erdung des Geräts ist Pflicht.
ACHTUNG:
Vor dem Anschluss des Geräts die Übereinstimmung der Spannung der
Stromversorgung mit der Gerätespannung überprüfen. Der Wert ist abzulesen:
entweder auf dem Typenschild unter dem Gerät,
oder auf dem Typenschild auf der letzten Seite dieses Handbuchs.
Wenn das Stromkabel beschädigt ist, muss es durch einen speziellen Bausatz
ersetzt werden, der bei der Firma SANTOS oder einem SANTOS Vertragshändler
erhältlich ist.

ACHTUNG:
Überprüfen ob der Ein- / Ausschalter (6) auf 0 steht, bevor Sie den Stecker
des Stromkabels in die Steckdose Ihrer Netzversorgung
stecken.

RECYCLING DES ALTGERÄTS
Das Gerät ist mit dem Symbol für die Mülltrennung elektrischer und
elektronischer Geräte gekennzeichnet. Das bedeutet, dass das Produkt
gemäß der Richtlinie 2002/96/EG (Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte) –
Abschnitt Gewerblich genutzte Geräte – von einer Mülltrennungsfirma
übernommen werden muss, um entweder recycelt oder zerlegt zu werden
und schädliche Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu vermeiden.
Für nähere Informationen kontaktieren Sie Ihren Händler oder das Unternehmen
SANTOS.
Zur Entsorgung und zum Recycling der Bauteile des Geräts wenden Sie sich bitte an
einen Fachbetrieb oder an das Unternehmen SANTOS.
Elektronikartikel, die nicht einer Mülltrennung unterzogen wurden, können die Umwelt
gefährden.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien müssen gemäß den geltenden Bestimmungen vernichtet
oder recycelt werden.

IHR BARMIXER NR. 33
Der Barmixer Nr. 33 ist für Bars, Cafés, Hotels, Restaurants, Cocktail-Bars,
Kantinen, Stände mit frischem Obstsaft, Konditoreien, Eiscafés, usw. bestimmt.
Das Gerät besteht aus einem Motorblock aus Aluminiumguß und einem
abnehmbaren Mixbehälter. Letzterer besteht aus einem TRANSPARENTEN
Kunststoffbehälter mit Skala, einer Abdeckung aus Kunststoff, einem
Dosierverschluß, einem Messersatz aus rostfreiem Edelstahl und einem
Anschlußsystem.
Der Mixer Nr. 33 ist für das Mixen verschiedener Lebensmittelprodukte in flüssiger,
zähflüssiger oder fester Form bestimmt.
Er eignet sich ideal für die Zubereitung von:
o Getränken (Frucht- und Gemüsecocktails, Punch, Sirup, Sangria, usw.)
o kleinen Mengen Suppen, Saucen; Aufläufe, Gemüsepürees, Fleisch- und
Fischpastete, Cremes, Kompott.
o Eis, Milk-Shakes
Benutzung des MIXERS
INBETRIEBNAHME:
ACHTUNG: während des Betriebs des Mixers muß immer ein
wenig Flüssigkeit im Behälter vorhanden sein.
Aufbau und Vorbereitung:
!
1. Die Messeraufnahme (7) auf der Behältermutter (6) platzieren.
2. Die Behälterdichtung (8) auf der Messeraufnahme (7) platzieren, dabei auf den
richtigen Sitz der Dichtung auf der Messeraufnahme achten.
ACHTUNG: Es ist wichtig, die Reihenfolge beim Einbau der
Elemente zu beachten. Anderenfalls besteht die Gefahr
gravierender Fehlfunktionen. (beachten: (6) (7) (8) (5)) (Abb. C)

3. Behälter (5) fest auf

Ein-/Ausschalter (9) auf Position 0 steht, bevor der Stecker des Stromkabels (10)
in die Steckdose gesteckt wird.

7. Eine Mindestmenge Flüssigkeit oder Püree einfüllen (bis die Messer
vollständig eingetaucht sind), bevor feste Zutaten zum Mixen hinzugegeben
werden. Für ein besseres Resultat feste Zutaten in Würfel schneiden und sie über
die Öffnung der Abdeckung einführen, während die Messer sich drehen.
8. Drehzahl der Messer in Abhängigkeit von der zu leistenden Arbeit einstellen:
- Schalter auf Position 1 für eine kleine Drehzahl (12 000 U/min)
- Schalter auf Position 2 für eine große Drehzahl (16 000 U/min).
9. Gerät abstellen, indem der Ein-/Ausschalter auf Position 0 gestellt wird.
ACHTUNG: Es ist wichtig, vor dem VOLLSTÄNDIGEN Stoppen des
Motors nicht das Behälterteil (1) zu entnehmen oder einzusetzen.
Gefahr des vorzeitigen Verschleißes des Anschlußsystems.

REINIGUNG:
WICHTIG:
Immer das Gerät abstellen und den Netzstecker (10) ziehen.
! Während der Reinigung die Messeraufnahme und die Messer mit
Vorsicht behandeln, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.
Das Reinigen unter einem Wasserstrahl oder mit Hochdruck ist
nicht zulässig.
Der Motorblock (2) darf nicht in Wasser getaucht werden.

Es wird zur sofortigen Reinigung des Geräts nach Beendigung des
Arbeitseinsatzes geraten.
Die Reinigung ist einfacher, wenn Sie nicht warten, bis die Lebensmittel im Behälter,
am Deckel oder an den Messern antrocknen.
Obgleich das Behälterteil (1) zusammengebaut in der Geschirrspülmaschine gereinigt
werden kann, ist es ratsam, das Behälterteil (1) auseinanderzubauen und die
einzelnen Teile getrennt zu reinigen: Behältermutter (6), Behälterdichtung (8),
Messeraufsatz (7), Behälter (5), Abdeckung (3) und Verschluß (4).
Den Sockel und das Gehäuse des Motorblocks mit einem feuchten, weichen
Schwamm reinigen und danach abtrocknen.
LAGERUNG:
Um die Gefahr von Schnittverletzungen zu reduzieren, wird geraten, die
Messeraufnahme (7) wieder in den Behälter (5) und auf der Behältermutter (6) zu
montieren.
Die Behälterabdeckung nicht hermetisch verschließen, wenn das Gerät gelagert
wird.
WARTUNG
Vor jedem Eingriff am Gerät muß der Netzstecker (10) gezogen werden.
Ersatzteile:
Die Maschine ist weitgehend wartungsfrei, die Rollager sind lebenslang geschmiert.
Wenn ein Eingriff notwendig ist, um Verschleißteile wie Messer, elektrische oder andere
Bauteile zu ersetzen, ist die Nomenklatur einzusehen (siehe Explosionszeichnung am
Ende des Handbuchs).
Bei allen Bestellungen von Ersatzteilen (Artikelnummern sind der Explosionszeichnung
zu entnehmen) bitte folgende Angaben machen:
Typ,
Seriennummer des Geräts und
die elektrischen Daten
abzulesen unter dem Gerät.
Ersetzen des Anschlußsystems:

Ausbau des Antriebsteils (Motor): (Abb. E)
1. Motorblock auf die Seite legen.
2. Rotation des Antriebsteils aus Gummi verhindern. Es ist möglich, die
Messeraufnahme (7) mit dem festen Anschluß (12) zu verwenden. Einen dicken
Lappen benutzen, um die Messer zu halten und Schnittverletzungen zu vermeiden.
3. Einen flachen Schraubenzieher durch die zentrale Öffnung des unteren Blechs in
die Rille der Motorwelle (13) halten.
4. Den Schraubenzieher im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um den Motoranschluß zu lösen
(Linksgang).

1. Den Motorblock (2) auf die Füße stellen.
2. Von Hand den weichen Anschluß im Uhrzeigersinn auf die Motorwelle (14)
schrauben (Linksgang).

In Abhängigkeit von den verschiedenen Versionen der Motorwelle, kann notwendig sein,
eine niedrige Mutter auf die Motorwelle zu schrauben, bevor der weiche Anschluß
aufgeschraubt wird. (Abb. G)
Wenn "D" größer als 3mm ist, keine niedrige Mutter anbringen.
Wenn "D" kleiner als 3mm ist, muß eine niedrige Mutter (Rechtsgang) auf der
Motorwelle angebracht werden, dann den weichen Anschluß (11) anschrauben.

1. Mit einem dicken Lappen die Messer halten (ACHTUNG vor
Schnittverletzungen).
2. Die niedrige Mutter (19) (Linksgang) in der sechseckigen Aufnahme aus Hartgummi
(12) platzieren.
3. In gleicher Reihenfolge wieder die kleine Unterlegscheibe aus Edelstahl (16), die
Unterlegscheibe aus Faser (17) und schließlich die große Unterlegscheibe aus
Edelstahl (18) auf der Messerwelle (15) einbauen.
4. Den Anschluß (12) durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn anschrauben
(Linksgang).

PANNENHILFE
Die Ursache des Stops des Geräts genau ermitteln.
Das Gerät springt nicht an:
Prüfen: Stromversorgung über das Netz, Zustand des Stromkabels (10).
Das Gerät stoppt nach einem Überhitzen des Motors: (der Motorblock ist heiß)
Der Motor besitzt einen eingebauten Wärmeschutz. Beim Überhitzen schaltet der Motor ab.
Den Ein-/Ausschalter (9) auf Position 0stellen und den Netzstecker ziehen.
Abkühlen des Motors abwarten (20 bis 45 Minuten), dann den Ein-/Ausschalter (9)
drücken (Position 1).
Wenn das Problem weiter besteht, das Gerät ausschalten (Netzstecker (10) ziehen) und
einen Wartungsmechaniker oder SANTOS Vertragshändler einschalten.
Das Gerät stoppt infolge einer Überlastung:
Wenn der Motor blockiert (Fremdkörper, zu harte Gegenstände oder Lebensmittel, die die
Messer blockieren), kann er sich schnell erhitzen und die Überlast-Sicherheit auslösen.
Gerät abschalten (Netzstecker (10) ziehen).
Ein-/Ausschalter (9) auf Position 0stellen.
Das Behälterteil (1) vom Motorblock (2) nehmen und auf eine Arbeitsfläche legen.
Die Abdeckung (3) des Behälters abnehmen und mit einem langen, dünnen
Gegenstand die die Messer blockierenden Teile entfernen.
Das Behälterteil (1) wieder auf den Motorblock (2) setzen und einschalten.
Wenn die Messer erneut
blockieren, den Behälter leeren
und die Lebensmittel in kleinere
Stücke schneiden.

Since the 01.01.95, all our appliances comply with CE and possess the CE label. Our guarantee is of
12 months from the manufacturing date mentioned on the descriptive plate. Warranty is strictly
limited to the free replacement of any part of origin recognized by us as defective due to a defect or
building default and identified as belonging to the concerned appliance. Warranty does not apply to
damages resulting from installation or use non-complying with our appliance data sheet (user’s
manual) or in case of an evident lack of maintenance or disrespect of elementary security electric
rules. It does not apply in case of regular wear and tear. Any replacement of parts under warranty will
be realized after return of the defective part in our workshops, postage paid, supported by a copy of
a conformity statement on which appears the serial number of the appliance. Every appliance is
equipped with a descriptive plate conforming to the EC recommendations and of which a duplicate
exists in the conformity statement (serial number, manufacturing date, electrical characteristics …).
In case of serious damage judged repairable only in our workshops, and after prior consent from our
departments, any appliance under guarantee is sent by the Distributor, carriage paid. In case of
repairs or reconditioning of appliances not under guarantee, the round trip transport is payable by the
distributor. The parts and workforce are invoiced at the current rate. A preliminary estimate can be
supplied.
Coffee grinder not using SANTOS original burrs are not taken under guarantee. The warranty
conditions, repairs, reconditioning, of the espresso coffee grinder are the object of a specific note.
Our guarantee does not extend to the payment of penalties, the repair of direct or indirect damages
and notably to any loss of income resulting from the nonconformity or the defectiveness of products,
SANTOS's global responsibility being limited to the sale price of the delivered product and to the
possible repair of the defective products.
In case of revelation of an imperfection during the warranty period, the Distributor has to, unless a
different written agreement of SANTOS, indicate to his customer to stop any use of the defective
product. Such a use would release SANTOS of any responsibility.
