Not properly tightened screws can cause a high contact resistance, lead to
overheating, and cause a fire hazard!
Not properly connecting the Neutral will damage the device and pose safety
risk!
External voltage risk! An external voltage source can be connected to the
K-Box relay terminals. Even if all the main counters are open/disconnected,
there could still be high voltage on the relay terminal clamps coming from an
auxiliary source (e.g., ripple control, UPS, generator, PV, emergency PSU). Be-
fore any handling verify that there is no voltage source wired to the K-Box.
Warnings
• Read the installation instructions before you connect the system to its power source.
• To prevent the system from overheating, do not operate it in an area that exceeds
the maximum admitted ambient temperature of 55 °C.
• This product relies on the building’s installation for short-circuit (over current) pro-
tection. Ensure that a fuse or circuit breaker no larger than 420 VAC, 65 A is used on
all current-carrying conductors.
• The circuit breaker shall be in front, close to the device, easily reachable by the op-
erator, and it shall be marked as the disconnecting breaker for the device.

• Do not work on the system or connect or disconnect cables during periods of light-
ning activity.
• Device is intended for indoor use only.
• Ultimate disposal of this product should be handled according to all national laws
and regulations.
• Any usage of this device in a manner that does not conform to this manual specifi-
cation can impair the provided safety protection.
Safety Instructions
Read these safety instructions carefully.
• Follow common household electrical safety practices.
• Read all cautions and warnings on the equipment.
• Do not put power to the electrical panel before putting back the cover of the home
distribution box. No live contact shall be accessible.
• Disconnect this equipment from the distribution box before cleaning it. Do not use
liquid or sprayed detergent for cleaning. Use moisture sheet or cloth for cleaning.
• The openings on the enclosure are for air convection and protect the equipment
from overheating. Do not cover the openings.
• Do not pour any liquid into opening. This could cause fire or electrical shock.
• Do not open the enclosure of this product and/or alter this product in any way.
• Have the equipment checked by a service professional if one of the following situa-
tions arises:
o The line is damaged.
o Liquid has entered the equipment.
o The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
o The equipment does not work properly, or you cannot get it to work ac-
cording to user’s manual.
o The equipment has been dropped or damaged.
o The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
• Keep this equipment away from excessive or condensing humidity.
• Do not leave this equipment in an unconditioned environment. Temperatures above
55 °C will damage the equipment.

Overview
Intended Use
K-Box is a custom energy meter with remote controlled relay to be only used in tiko En-
ergy Solutions AG authorized setups.
Any installation or usage which does not conform to tiko Energy Solutions AG setup is
strictly forbidden. tiko Energy Solutions AG is not responsible for any improper installa-
tion/usage of this device.
Features
K-Box features:
• meters instantaneous energy consumption on 3 phases
• remotely controlled relay
• status LEDs showing connection and relay status.
Package Content
Open the package and check that you have all the following items:
• Instruction manual
• K-Box
If any of the parts are incorrect, missing, or damaged, please contact the retailer where
you made your purchase. Keep the carton box, including the original packing materials, in
case you need to return the unit for repair.
Device
IMAGE 1 shows the device from the front. IMAGE 2 shows the device from the bottom
and indicates the phases and neutral terminals.
On the bottom side is a label indicating
• The manufacturer
• The device model number (REF) and the current rating
• The hardware (HW) and firmware (FW) version
• The unique serial/MAC address as text and as barcode code (SN/MAC)

Installation
Installation by person with electronical expertise and trained on this
product only!
Do not install the device unless you have removed the main power supply
(main breaker or fuses)!
Installing the K-Box
Step 1
Remove power from the electrical panel.
Step 2
Remove the cover panel so you can access the wires.
Step 3
Verify that there is no tension on the wires you intend to manipulate.
Step 4
Ensure that there is a short-circuit protection for 3 phases (breaker or
fuse) before the K-Box not larger than 420 V 65 A.
Step 5
Put the K-Box on the DIN rail of the home distribution box and ensure
the hook is locked properly (IMAGE 3).
Remove the protection covers from the terminals (IMAGE 4).
Step 6
Prepare the cables. Refer to Specifications on page 8 for supported rat-
ings and cable diameters.
Step 7
Connect the wires to the K-Box (IMAGE 6):
• From left to right, connect Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Neutral.
• Wires for top terminals are coming from source.
• Wires for bottom terminals are going to load.
Tighten all clamp screws with enough torque. Insufficient
clamping force can result in high contact resistance that
leads to device heating and can result in a fire hazard.
Step 8
Lift the cover of the relay terminals (IMAGE 5). Connect the relay con-
tacts as indicated in IMAGE 7:
• COM – Change over
• NC – Normally closed
• NO – Normally open

Danger! An external voltage source can be present on the
wires to be connected to the relay clamps!
An auxiliary source (e.g., ripple control, UPS, generator, PV,
emergency PSU) can supply voltage even if the all the main
counters are open/disconnected.
Before any handling verify that there is no voltage on any
wires you handle.
Step 9
Close the relay cover. Put back the protection covers for the phase and
neutral terminals (IMAGE 8). Ensure the orientation of the covers (IM-
AGE 9).
Step 10
Put back the cover panel of the home distribution box to cover the elec-
trical contacts. Be sure that no electrical contact can be touched.
Step 11
Power on the system by enabling power in the electrical panel.
Step 12
To finalize the installation, all tiko devices must be configured using the
installation app.
Operation
Device Operation
The operation of the K-Box is subject to the control of the full system and operated by
the Data Center through the Gateway (M-Box). No user interaction is required.
On the front, there are two buttons, offering the following functionalities:
• Service – not used anymore (no function assigned)
• Heating Powered
o Single Press – change relay state. If the K-Box is connected to the
backend, the relay might switch back as it is overwritten by the
backend settings.
o Long press (10 s) – reset device.
LED Explanation
On the front, there are two green LEDs indicating:
• Link – on if connected via Gateway (M-Box) to backend
• Heating Powered – relay status (on if closed)

Uninstalling
External voltage risk! An external voltage source can be connected to the
K-Box relay terminals. Even if all the main counters are open/disconnected,
there could still be high voltage on the relay terminal clamps coming from
an auxiliary source (e.g., ripple control, UPS, generator, PV, emergency
PSU). Before any handling verify that there is no voltage source wired to
the K-Box.
Step 1
Remove power from the electrical panel.
Step 2
Remove power from any auxiliary circuit (e.g., ripple control, UPS, gen-
erator, PV, emergency PSU).
Step 3
Verify that there is no tension on the K-Box clamps.
Step 4
Remove the cover panel. Unwire and remove the device.
Step 5
Put the cover panel back. Ensure that no electrical contact can be
touched.
Step 6
Power on the system.
Step 7
If the device remains property of tiko Energy Solutions AG or
its authorized reseller, it must be returned. Otherwise, the
ultimate disposal of a device shall be handled according to
national laws and regulations.

auf diesem Produkt geschult!
Trennen Sie alle Energiequellen vor der Bedienung dieses Geräts!
Benützen Sie immer angemessene Schutzkleidung!
Gefahr! Hochspannung!
Niemals lose Kabel berühren! Lebensgefahr!
Ausschliesslich für Gebrauch mit Strom/Spannung wie auf dem Geräteetikett
angegeben! Anderenfalls ist eine Beschädigung des Gerätes und damit ein
Stromschlag oder eine Brandgefahr möglich!
Nicht genügend angezogene Schrauben von Klemmen verursachen einen ho-
hen Kontaktwiderstand, welcher zu Überhitzung und Brandgefahr führen
kann!
Nicht richtig verbundener Neutralleiter beschädigt das Gerät und stellt ein Si-
cherheitsrisiko dar!
Achtung Fremdspannung! Möglicherweise ist eine fremde Spannungsquelle an
die K-Box-Relaisklemmen angeschlossen. Selbst wenn alle Hauptzähler of-
fen/getrennt sind, kann sich auf den Relaisklemmen immer noch Spannung von
einer fremden Quelle befinden (z.B. Rundsteuerung, unterbrechungsfreie
Stromversorgung, Generator, PV, Notstromaggregat). Stellen Sie vor jedweder
Handhabung sicher, dass keine Spannungsquelle mehr mit der K-Box verbun-
den ist.
Warnungen
• Lesen Sie die Installationsanweisungen, bevor Sie dieses Gerät an eine Stromquelle
anschliessen.
• Um das System vor Überhitzung zu schützen, betreiben Sie es nicht in einer Umge-

Sicherheitshinweise

Jegliche Installation oder Verwendung, welche nicht den Richtlinien von tiko Energy Solu-
tions AG entspricht, ist strikte verboten. tiko Energy Solutions AG ist nicht verantwortlich
für unsachgemässe(n) Installationen oder Gebrauch dieses Geräts.

Packungsinhalt
Öffnen Sie die Verpackung und überprüfen Sie, ob folgende Artikel vorhanden sind:
• Gebrauchsanweisung
• K-Box
Sollten Artikel fehlen, falsch sein oder Beschädigungen aufweisen, kontaktieren Sie bitte
den Händler, bei dem Sie Ihren Kauf getätigt haben. Behalten Sie die Kartonschachtel
einschliesslich der Originalverpackung für den Fall, dass Sie das Gerät zur Reparatur ein-
senden müssen.

Gerät
BILD 1 zeigt das Gerät von der Vorderseite. BILD 2 zeigt das Gerät von unten und kenn-
zeichnet die Klemmen für die Phasenleiter sowie den Neutralleiter.
Auf der Unterseite befindet sich eine Etikette mit den folgenden Informationen:
• Hersteller
• Geräte-Modellnummer (REF) und Betriebsleistung
• Hardware- (HW) und Firmwareversion (FW)
• Eindeutige Seriennummer (MAC-Adresse) als Text und Strichcode (SN/MAC)
Installation
Installation ausschliesslich durch Person mit Sachkenntnis in Elektronik
und auf diesem Produkt geschult!
Gerät nicht installieren, solange nicht die Hauptstromversorgung ab-ge-
schaltet ist (Hauptschalter oder Sicherung)!
Installation der K-Box
Schritt 1
Schalten Sie im Verteilkasten den Strom ab.
Schritt 2
Entfernen Sie die Abdeckungen, um Zugang zu den Kabeln zu haben.
Schritt 3
Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine Spannung auf den zu manipulierenden
Kabeln befindet.
Schritt 4
Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich ein Kurzschlussschutz für 3 Phasen (Schal-
ter oder Sicherung) nicht grösser als 420 VAC 65 A vor der K-Box be-
findet.
Schritt 5
Klemmen Sie die K-Box auf die Hutschiene im Verteilkasten und stellen
Sie sicher, dass der Verschluss eingerastet ist (BILD 3).
Entfernen Sie die Schutzabdeckungen von den Schraubklemmen
(BILD 4).
Schritt 6
Bereiten Sie die Kabel vor. Erlaubte Kabelquerschnitte sind unter Tech-
nische Daten auf Seite 17 aufgeführt.

Schritt 7
Schliessen Sie die Kabel in den Klemmen der K-Box an (BILD 6):
• Von links nach rechts: verbinden Sie Phase 1, Phase 2,
Phase 3, Neutralleiter
• Kabel in die oberen Klemmen stammen aus der Stromquelle
• Kabel in den unteren Klemmen führen zur Last
Ziehen Sie nun nochmals alle Klemmen mit genügend Dreh-
moment an. Ungenügende Klemmkraft resultiert in hohem
Kontaktwiderstand, welcher zu Überhitzung und Entzün-
dung führen kann!
Schritt 8
Heben Sie die Abdeckung der Klemmen für das Relais an (BILD 5). Ver-
binden Sie die Relais-Kontakte wie in BILD 7 dargestellt:
• COM – Wechselkontakt
• NC – Ruhekontakt
• NO – Arbeitskontakt
Gefahr! Eine Fremdspannungsquelle kann durch die Kabel
zu den Relaisklemmen vorliegen!
Eine Hilfsquelle (z.B. Rundsteuerung, unterbrechungsfreie
Stromversorgung, PV, Notstromaggregat) kann Spannung
zuführen, obwohl alle Hauptzähler offen/getrennt sind.
Stellen Sie vor jedweder Handhabung sicher, dass sich auf
keinem Kabel Spannung befindet, welches Sie berühren.
Schritt 9
Schliessen Sie die Abdeckung des Relais. Bringen Sie die Abdeckungen
der Klemmen für die Phasen und den Neutralleiter wieder an (BILD 8).
Beachten Sie die Orientierung der Abdeckungen (BILD 9).
Schritt 10
Bringen Sie die Abdeckungen im Verteilkasten wieder an, um die Kon-
takte zu bedecken. Stellen Sie sicher, dass kein elektrischer Kontakt
berührt werden kann!
Schritt 11
Schalten Sie das System ein, indem Sie im Verteilkasten den Strom wie-
der einschalten.
Schritt 12
Um die Installation abzuschliessen, müssen alle tiko-Geräte mittels der
Installations-App konfiguriert werden.

Betrieb
Betrieb des Geräts
Der Betrieb der K-Box wird vom Gesamtsystem kontrolliert und via das Gateway (M-Box)
von Datacenter gesteuert. Es ist kein Eingriff des Benutzers nötig.
Auf der Vorderseite befinden sich zwei Tasten mit den folgenden Funktionen:
• Service – nicht mehr in Gebrauch (keine Funktion zugeordnet)
• Heating Powered
o Einfaches Drücken – Relais-Stellung wechseln. Wenn die K-Box mit
dem Backend verbunden ist, schaltet das Relais wieder in den ur-
sprünglichen Zustand zurück, da die Stellung vom im Backend hinter-
legten Wert überschrieben wird.
o Langes Drücken (10 s) – Gerät zurücksetzen
LED-Legende
Auf der Vorderseite zeigen zwei grüne LEDs folgende Informationen an:
• Link – mit Backend verbunden via Gateway (M-Box)
• Heating Powered – Relais-Stellung (LED an, wenn geschlossen)

Deinstallation
Achtung Fremdspannung! Möglicherweise ist eine fremde Spannungs-
quelle an die K-Box-Relaisklemmen angeschlossen. Selbst wenn alle
Hauptzähler offen/getrennt sind, kann sich auf den Relaisklemmen immer
noch Spannung von einer fremden Quelle befinden (z.B. Rundsteuerung,
unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung, Generator, PV, Notstromaggregat).
Stellen Sie vor jedweder Handhabung sicher, dass keine Spannungsquelle
mehr mit der K-Box verbunden ist.
Schritt 1
Schalten Sie im Verteilkasten den Strom ab.
Schritt 2
Entfernen Sie die Energie von allen zusätzlichen Schaltkreisen (z.B.
Rundsteuerung, unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung, PV, Notstrom-
aggregat).
Schritt 3
Stellen Sie sicher, dass auf keiner Klemme der K-Box Spannung vorliegt.
Schritt 4
Entfernen Sie die Abdeckungen, um Zugang zu den Kabeln zu haben.
Lösen Sie die Kabel und entfernen Sie das Gerät.
Schritt 5
Bringen Sie die Abdeckungen im Verteilkasten wieder an, um die Kon-
takte zu bedecken. Stellen Sie sicher, dass kein elektrischer Kontakt be-
rührt werden kann!
Schritt 6
Schalten Sie das System ein.
Schritt 7
Bleibt das Gerät Eigentum der tiko Energy Solutions AG oder
des autorisierten Händlers, muss es zurückgegeben werden.
Andernfalls muss die endgültige Entsorgung eines Gerätes in
Übereinstimmung mit den nationalen Gesetzen und Vor-
schriften erfolgen.

Utilisez uniquement avec le courant ou la tension indiqué sur l’étiquette de
l’appareil ! Cela pourrait endommager l’appareil et présenter un risque de dé-
charge électrique ou d’incendie !
Des vis mal serrées peuvent provoquer une résistance de contact élevée, une
surchauffe et un risque d’incendie !
Si vous ne connectez pas correctement le neutre, vous risquez d’endommager
l’appareil et de poser des problèmes de sécurité !
Risque de tension externe ! Une source de tension externe peut être raccordée
aux bornes du relais de la K-Box. Même si le disjoncteur général (AGCP) ainsi
que tous les disjoncteurs et interrupteurs principaux sont ouverts ou déconnec-
tés, il peut toujours y avoir une présence de tension sur les bornes du relais
provenant d'une source auxiliaire (par ex. commande d'ondulation, onduleur,
groupe électrogène, panneau solaire, alimentation de secours…). Avant toute
intervention, vérifiez l’absence de tension sur toutes les bornes de la K-Box.
Avertissements

• Pour éviter toute surchauffe du système, ne le faites pas fonctionner dans une zone
dépassant la température ambiante maximale autorisée de 55 °C.
• Ce produit dépend de l’installation du bâtiment pour la protection contre les courts-
circuits (surtension). Assurez-vous qu’un fusible ou un disjoncteur ne dépassant pas
420 VCA, 65 A est utilisé sur tous les conducteurs de courant.
• Le disjoncteur doit être à l’avant, à proximité de l’appareil, facilement accessible par
l’opérateur, et doit être marqué comme disjoncteur de déconnexion de l’appareil.
• Ne travaillez pas sur le système et ne connectez pas ou ne débranchez pas les câbles
lorsqu'il y a de l’orage.
• L’appareil est destiné à être utilisé à l’intérieur uniquement.
• L’élimination finale de ce produit doit être effectuée conformément à toutes les lois
et réglementations nationales.
• Toute utilisation de cet appareil d’une manière non conforme aux instructions de ce
manuel peut compromettre la sécurité assurée.
Consignes de sécurité
Lisez attentivement ces instructions.
• Suivez les pratiques de sécurité courantes en matière d'électricité domestique.
• Lisez toutes les mises en garde et avertissements sur l’équipement.
• Ne mettez pas le panneau électrique sous tension avant de remettre le couvercle du
boîtier de distribution domestique. Aucun contact direct ne doit être accessible.
• Déconnectez cet équipement de la boîte de distribution avant de le nettoyer. N'uti-
lisez pas de détergent liquide ou pulvérisé pour le nettoyage. Utilisez un chiffon hu-
mide pour le nettoyage.
• Les ouvertures sur le boîtier sont destinées à la convection de l’air et protègent l’équi-
pement contre la surchauffe. Ne couvrez pas les ouvertures.
• Ne versez pas de liquide dans l’ouverture. Cela pourrait provoquer un incendie ou
une décharge électrique.
• N’ouvrez pas le boîtier de ce produit et / ou n'apportez aucune modification à ce
produit.
• Faites vérifier l’équipement par un professionnel si l’une des situations suivantes se
présente :
o La ligne est endommagée.
o Du liquide est entré dans l’équipement.
o L’équipement a été exposé à l’humidité.
o L’équipement ne fonctionne pas correctement ou vous ne pouvez pas le
faire fonctionner conformément au manuel d’utilisation.
o L’équipement est tombé ou a été endommagé.
o L’équipement présente des signes évidents de casse.
• Maintenez cet équipement à l’écart de l’humidité excessive ou de la condensation.
• Ne laissez pas cet équipement dans un environnement inapproprié. Des tempéra-
tures supérieures à 55 °C endommageront l’équipement.

Appareil
L’IMAGE 1 montre la face avant de l’appareil. L’IMAGE 2 montre le dessous de l'appareil
et indique les bornes de phases et de neutre.
Sur le côté gauche se trouve une étiquette indiquant
• Le nom du constructeur
• Le numéro de modèle de l’appareil (REF) et le courant nominal
• La version du matériel (HW) et du firmware (FW)
• L’adresse série/MAC unique sous forme de texte et de code-barres (SN/MAC)
Installation
Installation uniquement par une personne possédant une expertise en
électronique et formée à ce produit !
N’installez pas l’appareil avant d’avoir débranché l’alimentation princi-
pale (disjoncteur principal ou fusibles) !
Installer la K-Box
Étape 1
Coupez l’alimentation du panneau électrique.
Étape 2
Retirez le cache de protection pour pouvoir accéder aux fils.
Étape 3
Vérifiez l’absence de tension sur les fils que vous devez manipuler.
Étape 4
Assurez-vous que la protection contre les courts-circuits pour 3 phases
(disjoncteur ou fusible) devant la K-Box ne dépasse pas 420 V 65 A.
Étape 5
Placez la K-Box sur le rail DIN du boîtier de distribution domestique et
assurez-vous que le crochet est correctement verrouillé (IMAGE 3).
Retirez les caches de protection des bornes (IMAGE 4).
Étape 6
Préparez les câbles. Reportez-vous à Caractéristiques à la page 26 pour
connaître les valeurs nominales et les diamètres de câble compatibles.

Étape 7
Connectez les fils à la K-Box (IMAGE 6) :
• De gauche à droite, connectez la phase 1, la phase 2, la
phase 3, le neutre
• Les fils des terminaux supérieurs proviennent de la source
• Les fils des terminaux inférieurs vont charger
Resserrez toutes les vis de serrage avec suffisamment de
couple. Une force de serrage insuffisante peut entraîner une
résistance de contact élevée entraînant le chauffage de
l’appareil et un risque d’incendie.
Étape 8
Soulevez le couvercle des bornes du relais (IMAGE 5). Connectez les
contacts du relais comme indiqué dans l’IMAGE 7 :
• COM : basculement
• NC : fermé normalement
• NO : ouvert normalement
Danger ! Une tension externe peut être présente sur les fils
à raccorder aux bornes du relais !
Une source auxiliaire (par ex. commande d'ondulation, on-
duleur, groupe électrogène, panneau solaire, alimentation
de secours…) peut fournir une tension même si le disjonc-
teur général (AGCP) ainsi que tous les disjoncteurs et inter-
rupteurs principaux sont ouvert ou déconnectés.
Avant toute intervention, vérifiez l’absence de tension sur
tous les fils que vous devez manipuler.
Étape 9
Fermez le couvercle du relais. Remettez les caches de protection des
bornes de phase et de neutre (IMAGE 8). Faites attention à l’orientation
(IMAGE 9).
Étape 10
Remettez en place le cache de protection du boîtier de distribution do-
mestique pour couvrir les contacts électriques. Assurez-vous qu’aucun
contact électrique ne peut être touché.
Étape 11
Mettez le système sous tension en activant l’alimentation dans le pan-
neau électrique.
Étape 12
Pour finaliser l’installation, tous les appareils tiko doivent être configu-
rés à l’aide de l’application d’installation.

Fonctionnement
Fonctionnement de l’appareil
Le fonctionnement de la K-Box est soumis au contrôle de l’ensemble du système et est
géré par le centre de données via la passerelle (M-Box). Aucune intervention de l’utilisa-
teur n’est nécessaire.
Sur la face il y a deux boutons présenter les fonctionnalités suivantes :
• Service – n’en plus utilisé (aucune fonction assignée)
• Heating Powered
o Seule pression – commuter le relais. Si la K-Box est connecté au back-
end, le relais pourrait commuter en arrière comme la position est subs-
titué par la configuration du backend.
o Longe pression (10 s) – réinitialiser l’appareil
Explication des voyants
Sur la face il y a deux voyants verts qui indiquent
• Link – allumé si connecté au backend par la passerelle (M-Box)
• Heating Powered – position du relais (allumé si fermé)

Désinstallation
Risque de tension externe ! Une source de tension externe peut être raccor-
dée aux bornes du relais de la K-Box. Même si le disjoncteur général (AGCP)
ainsi que tous les disjoncteurs et interrupteurs principaux sont ouverts ou
déconnectés, il peut toujours y avoir une tension sur les bornes du relais
provenant d'une source auxiliaire (par ex. commande d'ondulation, ondu-
leur, groupe électrogène, panneau solaire, alimentation de secours…).
Avant toute intervention, vérifiez l’absence de tension sur toutes les bornes
de la K-Box.
Étape 1
Coupez l’alimentation du panneau électrique.
Étape 2
Couper l'alimentation de tout circuit auxiliaire (commande d'ondulation,
onduleur, groupe électrogène, panneau solaire, alimentation de se-
cours…).
Étape 3
Vérifiez l’absence de tension sur toutes les bornes de la K-Box.
Étape 4
Retirez le cache de protection. Débranchez et retirez l’appareil.
Étape 5
Replacez le cache de protection. Assurez-vous qu’aucun contact élec-
trique ne peut être touché.
Étape 6
Mettez le système sous tension.
Étape 7
Si l’appareil reste la propriété de tiko Energy Solutions AG ou
de son revendeur agréé, il doit être rendu. Sinon, l’élimination
finale d’un appareil doit être effectuée conformément aux
lois et réglementations nationales.

Scollegare tutte le fonti di alimentazione prima di eseguire qualsiasi manipola-
zione!
Utilizzare sempre dispositivi di protezione adeguati!
Pericolo! Alta tensione!
Non toccare mai i conduttori scollegati! Pericolo di vita!
Utilizzare solo per corrente/tensione come indicato sull'etichetta del disposi-
tivo! In caso contrario, si possono causare danni al dispositivo e provocare
scosse elettriche o incendi!
Le viti non serrate correttamente possono causare un'elevata resistenza di con-
tatto, provocare il surriscaldamento e causare incendi!
Il collegamento non corretto del neutro può danneggiare il dispositivo e com-
portare un rischio per la sicurezza!
Rischio di tensione esterna! Una sorgente di tensione esterna può essere colle-
gata ai terminali del relè della K-Box. Anche se i contatori principali sono
aperti/scollegati, potrebbe ancora essere presente dell'alta tensione sui termi-
nali dei morsetti del relè proveniente da una sorgente ausiliaria (per esempio con-
trollo ripple, UPS, generatore, PV, PSU di emergenza). Prima di qualsiasi inter-
vento verificare che non ci sia una sorgente di tensione collegata alla K-Box.
Avvertenze
• Leggere le istruzioni di installazione prima di collegare il sistema all'alimentazione.
• Per evitare il surriscaldamento del sistema, non utilizzarlo in un'area con temperatura
eccedente quella ambiente massima consentita di 55 °C.
• La protezione contro i cortocircuiti (sovracorrente) di questo prodotto è fornita
dall'impianto dell'edificio. Accertarsi di utilizzare un fusibile o interruttore automatico
non superiore a 420 VCA, 65 A su tutti i conduttori di corrente.

• L'interruttore deve trovarsi davanti e in prossimità del dispositivo, deve essere facil-

• Il dispositivo è destinato esclusivamente all'uso interno.
• Lo smaltimento definitivo di questo prodotto deve essere gestito in conformità a

Installazione

Verificare l'assenza di tensione sui cavi che dovete manipolare.

Accertarsi che sia presente una protezione da cortocircuito per 3 fasi
(interruttore automatico o fusibile) a monte del K-Box non superiore a
420 V 65 A.

Collocare il K-Box sulla guida DIN della scatola di distribuzione dome-
stica e assicurarsi che il gancio sia bloccato correttamente (IMMA-
GINE 3).
Rimuovere i coperchi di protezione dai terminali (IMMAGINE 4).
Punto 6
Preparare i cavi. Fare riferimento Specifiche alla pagina 34 per i valori
nominali e i diametri dei cavi supportati.
Punto 7
Collegare i conduttori al K-Box (IMMAGINE 6):
• Da sinistra a destra, collegare Fase 1, Fase 2, Fase 3, Neutro
• I conduttori per i terminali superiori provengono dalla fonte
• I conduttori provenienti dai terminali inferiori vanno al carico

Stringere tutte le viti di serraggio con una coppia suffi-
ciente. Una forza di serraggio insufficiente può provocare
un'elevata resistenza di contatto che porta al riscalda-
mento del dispositivo e può provocare un rischio di incen-
dio.
Punto 8
Sollevare il coperchio dei terminali del relè (IMMAGINE 5). Collegare i
contatti del relè come indicato nell'IMMAGINE 7:
• COM – Sostituzione
• NC – Normalmente chiuso
• NO – Normalmente aperto
Pericolo! Una sorgente di tensione esterna può essere pre-
sente sui morsetti del relè!
Una sorgente ausiliaria (per esempio controllo ripple, UPS,
generatore, PV, PSU di emergenza) può fornire tensione an-
che se tutti i contatori principali sono aperti/scollegati.
Prima di qualsiasi intervento verificare che non ci sia ten-
sione su nessuno dei cavi coinvolti.
Punto 9
Chiudere il coperchio del relè. Riposizionare i coperchi di protezione per
i terminali di fase e neutri (IMMAGINE 8). Prestare attenzione all’orien-
tamento (IMMAGINE 9).
Punto 10
Riposizionare il pannello di copertura della scatola di distribuzione do-
mestica per coprire i contatti elettrici. Assicurarsi che nessun contatto
elettrico possa essere toccato.
Punto 11
Accendere il sistema attivando l'alimentazione nel quadro elettrico.
Punto 12
Per finalizzare l'installazione, tutti i dispositivi tiko devono essere con-
figurati mediante l'app di installazione.
Funzionamento
Funzionamento del dispositivo
Il funzionamento di K-Box è soggetto al controllo dell'intero sistema e gestito dal Data
Center attraverso il Gateway (M-Box). Non è richiesta alcuna interazione da parte
dell’utente.
Sulla facciata frontale la K-Box è dotata di due pulsanti con le seguenti funzioni:
• Service – non più utilizzato (nessuna funzione assegnata)
• Heating Powered

o Singola pressione – cambia lo stato del relè. Nel caso la K-Box fosse
connessa al backend, lo stato del relè potrebbe tornare nella posizione
originale, in quanto comandata dal backend.
o Pressione lunga (10 s) – reset del dispositivo
Spiegazione LED
I due LED sulla facciata frontale indicano:
• Link – acceso se connesso al backend attraverso il Gateway (M-Box)
• Heating Powered – stato del relè (acceso a relè chiuso)
Disinstallazione
Rischio di tensione esterna! Una sorgente di tensione esterna può essere
collegata ai terminali del relè della K-Box. Anche se i contatori principali
sono aperti/scollegati, potrebbe ancora essere presente dell'alta tensione
sui terminali dei morsetti del relè proveniente da una sorgente ausiliaria
(per esempio controllo ripple, UPS, generatore, PV, PSU di emergenza).
Prima di qualsiasi intervento verificare che non ci sia una sorgente di ten-
sione collegata alla K-Box.

Rimuovere l'alimentazione dal quadro elettrico.
Punto 2
Rimuovere l'alimentazione da qualunque circuito ausiliario (per esempio
controllo ripple, UPS, generatore, PV, PSU di emergenza).

Verificare l'assenza di tensione su tutti i terminali della K-Box.

Rimuovere il pannello di copertura. Scollegare e rimuovere il dispositivo.

Riposizionare il pannello di copertura. Assicurarsi che nessun contatto

Accendere il sistema.

Nel caso che il dispositivo rimane di proprietà di tiko Energy
Solutions AG o del relativo rivenditore autorizzato, egli deve
essere restituito. Altrimenti, lo smaltimento definitivo di un
dispositivo deve essere gestito in conformità alle leggi e alle

Gevaar! Hoogspanning!
Raak nooit losgemaakte draden aan! Levensgevaar!
Gebruik alleen stroom/spanning zoals aangegeven op het apparaatlabel! Als u
dit niet doet, kan dit schade aan het apparaat veroorzaken een elektrische
schok of en brand veroorzaken!
Niet goed vastgedraaide schroeven kunnen een hoge contactweerstand, over-
verhitting en brand veroorzaken!
Als de Neutral niet goed wordt aangesloten, kan het apparaat worden bescha-
digd en kan er een veiligheidsrisico ontstaan!
Extern spanningsrisico! Een externe spanningsbron kan aangesloten zijn op de
K-Box-relaisklemmen, zelfs als alle hoofdtellers open / losgekoppeld zijn, kan
er zich nog steeds een hoogspanning op de relaisklemmen bevinden, komend
van een hulpbron (bijv. rimpelregeling, UPS, generator, PV, nood-PSU). Contro-
leer vóór elke handeling of er geen spanningsbron op de K-Box is aangesloten.
Waarschuwingen
• Lees de installatie-instructies voordat u het systeem op de stroombron aansluit.
• Om te voorkomen dat het systeem oververhit raakt, mag u het niet gebruiken in een
ruimte die de maximaal toegelaten omgevingstemperatuur van 55 °C overschrijdt.

• Dit product is afhankelijk van de installatie van het gebouw voor kortsluiting stroom-
begrenzing Zorg ervoor dat een zekering of stroomonderbreker niet groter dan
420 VAC, 65 A wordt gebruikt op alle stroomvoerende geleiders.
• De stroomonderbreker bevindt zich vooraan, dicht bij het apparaat, gemakkelijk be-
reikbaar voor de operator en moet worden gemarkeerd als de hoofdschakelaar voor
het apparaat.
• Werk niet aan het systeem of verbind of ontkoppel kabels niet tijdens perioden van
bliksemactiviteit.
• Apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis.
• De uiteindelijke verwijdering van dit product moet worden uitgevoerd volgens alle
nationale wet- en regelgeving.
• Elk gebruik van dit apparaat op een manier die niet voldoet aan deze handleiding,
kan de geboden veiligheidsbescherming beïnvloeden.
Veiligheidsinstructies
Lees deze veiligheidsinstructies aandachtig door.
• Volg de gebruikelijke procedures voor elektrische huishoudelijke veiligheid.
• Lees alle waarschuwingen op de apparatuur.
• Zet geen stroom op het elektrische paneel voordat u de afdekking van de thuisver-
deelkast terugplaatst. Er zal geen live contact toegankelijk zijn.
• Koppel dit apparaat los van de verdeelkast voordat u het schoonmaakt. Gebruik geen
vloeibaar of gespoten schoonmaakmiddel voor het schoonmaken. Gebruik een voch-
tige doek of doekje om schoon te maken.
• De openingen in de behuizing zijn voor luchtconvectie en beschermen de apparatuur
tegen oververhitting. Dek de openingen niet af.
• Giet geen vloeistof in de opening. Dit kan brand of een elektrische schok veroorza-
ken.
• Open de behuizing van dit product niet en/of wijzig dit product op geen enkele ma-
nier.
• Laat de apparatuur controleren door een servicemedewerker als zich een van de vol-
gende situaties voordoet:
o Het snoer is beschadigd.
o Er is vloeistof in de apparatuur gekomen.
o De apparatuur is blootgesteld aan vocht.
o De apparatuur werkt niet correct of u kunt het niet volgens de gebruikers-
handleiding laten werken.
o Het apparaat is gevallen of beschadigd.
o Het apparaat vertoont duidelijke tekenen van breuk.
• Houd dit apparaat uit de buurt van extreme of condenserende vochtigheid.
• Laat dit apparaat niet achter in een ongeconditioneerde omgeving. Temperaturen
boven 55 °C zullen de apparatuur beschadigen.
• Bewaar deze handleiding voor later gebruik.

Inhoud van de verpakking

Als een van de onderdelen onjuist is, ontbreekt of beschadigd is, neem dan contact op
met de winkel waar u uw aankoop hebt gedaan. Bewaar de kartonnen doos, inclusief het
originele verpakkingsmateriaal, voor het geval u het apparaat voor reparatie moet retour-
neren.

AFBEELDING 1 toont het apparaat vanaf de voorkant. AFBEELDING 2 toont het appa-
raat vanaf de onderkant en geeft de fasen en neutrale aansluitingen aan.

Installatie
Installatie door persoon met elektronische expertise en alleen getraind
op dit product!
Installeer het apparaat niet tenzij u de hoofdvoeding hebt verwijderd
(hoofdschakelaar of zekeringen)!
De K-Box installeren
Stap 1
Verwijder de stroom van het elektrische paneel.
Stap 2
Verwijder het afdekpaneel zodat u bij de draden kunt.
Stap 3
Controleer of er geen spanning is op de draden die u moet gebruiken.
Stap 4
Zorg voor een kortsluitbeveiliging voor 3 fasen (onderbreker of zeke-
ring) voordat de K-Box die niet groter is dan 420 V 65 A.
Stap 5
Plaats de K-Box op de DIN-rail van de thuisverdeelkast en zorg ervoor
dat de haak goed is vergrendeld (AFBEELDING 3).
Verwijder de beschermkappen van de aansluitingen (AFBEELDING 4).
Stap 6
Bereid de kabels voor. Raadpleeg Specificaties op pagina 42 voor onder-
steunde toelaatbare belastingen en kabeldiameters.
Stap 7
Sluit de draden aan op de K-Box (AFBEELDING 6):
• Sluit van links naar rechts fase 1, fase 2, fase 3, neutraal aan
• Draden voor bovenste aansluitingen zijn afkomstig van de
bron
• Draden voor onderste aansluitingen zijn bedoeld voor het la-
den
Draai alle klemschroeven vast met voldoende aandraaimo-
ment. Onvoldoende klemkracht kan resulteren in een hoge
contactweerstand die leidt tot verwarming van het appa-
raat en kan brandgevaar veroorzaken.

Stap 8
Til de kap van de relaisaansluitingen op (AFBEELDING 5). Sluit de re-
laiscontacten aan zoals aangegeven in AFBEELDING 7:
• COM – Omschakeling
• NC – gewoonlijk gesloten
• NO – gewoonlijk open
Gevaar! Een externe spanningsbron kan aanwezig zijn op de
draden die moeten aangesloten worden op de relaisklem-
men!
Elke hulpbron (bijv. rimpelregeling, UPS, generator, PV,
nood-PSU) kan spanning geven zelfs als alle hoofdtellers
open/losgekoppeld zijn.
Controleer voor elke handeling of er geen spanning aanwe-
zig is op alle draden.
Stap 9
Sluit de relaiskap. Plaats de beschermkappen voor de fase- en neutrale
aansluitingen terug (AFBEELDING 8). Besteed aandacht aan de oriën-
tatie (AFBEELDING 9).
Stap 10
Plaats het afdekpaneel van de thuisverdeelkast terug om de elektrische
contacten te bedekken. Zorg dat er geen elektrisch contact kan worden
aangeraakt.
Stap 11
Schakel het systeem in door de stroom in te schakelen in het elektrische
paneel.
Stap 12
Om de installatie te voltooien, moeten alle tiko-apparaten aan de hand
van de installatie-app worden geconfigureerd.
Bediening
Werking van het apparaat
Elke verdere werking van de K-Box is onderworpen aan de controle van het volledige
systeem en wordt beheerd door het datacenter via de Gateway (M-Box). Geen gebrui-
kersinteractie vereist.
De K-Box beschikt over twee drukknoppen:
• Service – niet meer gebruikt (geen functie toegewezen)
• Heating Powered
o Een keer indrukken – relaisstatus wijzigen. Als de K-Box is verbonden
op de backend, kan het relais terugschakelen omdat het wordt over-
schreven door de backendistellingen.
o Lang indrukken (10 s) – hardware-reset het apparaat

LED-toelichting
Aan de voorzijde de K-Box heeft twee groene LED’s die aangeven
• Link – aan indien verbonden met de backend via Gateway (M-Box)
• Heating Powered – relaisstatus (aan indien gesloten)
Deïnstalleren
Extern spanningsrisico! Een externe spanningsbron kan aangesloten zijn op
de K-Box-relaisklemmen, zelfs als alle hoofdtellers open / losgekoppeld
zijn, kan er zich nog steeds een hoogspanning op de relaisklemmen bevin-
den, komend van een hulpbron (bijv. rimpelregeling, UPS, generator, PV,
nood-PSU). Controleer vóór elke handeling of er geen spanningsbron op de
K-Box is aangesloten.
Stap 1
Verwijder de stroom van het elektrische paneel.
Stap 2
Schakel de stroom van alle hulpbronnen (bijv. rimpelregeling, UPS, ge-
nerator, PV, nood-PSU)
Stap 3
Controleer of er geen spanning staat op alle poorten van de K-Box.

Verwijder het afdekpaneel. Koppel het apparaat los en verwijder het.

Plaats het afdekpaneel terug. Zorg dat er geen elektrisch contact kan
worden aangeraakt.

Het systeem inschakelen.

Als het apparaat blijft eigendom van tiko Energy Solutions AG
of zijn geautoriseerde wederverkoper, moet het worden ge-
retourneerd. Anders moet de uiteindelijke afvoer van een ap-
paraat volgens de nationale wet- en regelgeving worden uit-
gevoerd.
