Veiligheidsinstructies
Voordat u het product de eerste keer gaat
gebruiken, moet u er altijd voor zorgen dat:
• U de gebruiksaanwijzing voor de lift en alle
bijbehorende accessoires hebt gelezen en
begrepen.
• De lift geïnstalleerd is volgens de installatie-
instructies.
• De liftaccessoires bedoeld zijn voor gebruik
met de lift en correct gemonteerd zijn.
• De accu’s van lift gedurende ten minste acht
uur geladen zijn.
• Het personeel, dat de apparatuur gaat
gebruiken, een adequate opleiding in het
gebruik van het (aangedreven) 4-punts
kanteljuk en de accessoires heeft gehad.
Belangrijk! Het 4-punts kanteljuk is
uitsluitend ontworpen voor het optillen
van mensen, en slechts één persoon per
keer.
WAARSCHUWING: Om het risico van
elektrische schokken te vermijden,
mag deze apparatuur alleen worden
aangesloten op netvoeding met
beschermende aarde.

Zorg er tijdens het gebruik altijd voor dat:
• De cliënt niet alleen wordt gelaten tijdens
een tilsituatie.
• De liftband niet verdraaid of versleten is en
zich vrij in en uit de lift kan bewegen.
• De accessoires, bijvoorbeeld tilband, geen
tekenen van slijtage of andere schade
vertonen.
• De lift correct is opgehangen aan de lift
band of aanhaakband.
• De juiste types, afmetingen, materialen en
ontwerp van de accessoires zijn gekozen
door een ter zake kundige met betrekking
tot de veiligheid en behoefte van de cliënt.
• De accessoires correct bevestigd zijn. De
bevestigingsclips van de tilband correct
bevestigd zijn aan de bevestigingspennen;
dit moet gecontroleerd worden vóór het
tillen.
Juiste bevestiging van de tilband clip
Belangrijk! Bevestig de tilband nooit op
een andere manier dan getoond in de
afbeelding, de textielen lussen zijn niet
bedoeld voor het bevestigen aan het
kanteljuk.
Human Care verzorgt gerichte training voor het
veilig werken met het (aangedreven) 4-punts
kanteljuk en andere toebehoren, verdere
informatie over tilbanden en andere toebehoren
vindt u op www.humancaregroup.com.
Belangrijk! Als de maximale belasting van
de lift, (aangedreven) 4-punts kanteljuk
en tilband verschilt, dan moet altijd de
laagste maximale belasting worden
aangehouden.
Belangrijk! Om ervoor te zorgen dat de
liftband niet beschadigd raakt, is het
belangrijk dat het (aangedreven) 4-punts
kanteljuk in evenwicht is en dat de tilband
correct opgehangen is. U mag nooit de
liftband en het (aangedreven) 4-punts
kanteljuk vasthouden of er aan trekken
tijdens het verplaatsen van een patiënt.
Het is ook belangrijk dat de liftband
iets onder spanning staat wanneer deze
wordt ingewikkeld.

Bedoeld gebruik
Met het 4-punts kanteljuk kan een cliënt
opgetild en gepositioneerd worden op
een manier die voor zowel de cliënt als de
verzorgende het meest comfortabele en veilig
is, ook tijdens het feitelijke tilproces.
Het 4-punts kanteljuk mag alleen gebruikt
worden met een Human Care plafondlift, HeliQ.
De kantelbeweging is aangedreven, waardoor
de benodigde inspanning van de verzorgende
tot een minimum wordt beperkt. Dit betekent
minder risico’s op arbeidsgerelateerde
lichamelijke klachten.
Bedoeld gebruik van de modellen:
• Small: voor kleinere personen en/of
kinderen, handmatige uitvoering.
• Medium: voor volwassenen en geschikt voor
de meeste tilomstandigheden, aangedreven
uitvoering.
• Large: voor patiënten die meer ruimte
nodig hebben in de tilband vanwege brede
schouders, zwaarlijvigheid of gevoeligheid
voor druk, aangedreven uitvoering.
Het elektrisch aangedreven 4-punt kanteljuk is
ontworpen en getest voor gebruik binnenshuis
en is geclassificeerd als een IPX4 product.
De eisen aan de omgevingsomstandigheden
zijn: omgevingstemperatuur tussen 10 °C en 40
°C, relatieve luchtvochtigheid van 30% tot 75%
en omgevingsdruk tussen 700 hPa en 1060 hPa.
Belangrijk! Het product mag niet worden
ondergedompeld in water.

Handbediening (A) (model S, M & L)
Het product is voorzien van een handgreep om
de verplaatsing van de cliënt tijdens gebruik
te vergemakkelijken en om te zorgen voor een
ergonomische rotatie van het kanteljuk.
Noodstop (B) (model M & L)
In geval van nood kan de noodstop geactiveerd
worden door op de RODE knop te drukken. Om
de noodstop te resetten, moet u de RODE knop
rechtsom draaien.
Bedieningspanelen NL
De bedieningspanelen, gelegen aan elke
kant van het product (alleen Medium en
Large uitvoeringen), zijn uitgerust met twee
knoppen voor de kantelfunctie, één voor het
verplaatsen van de patiënt van een liggende
naar een zittende positie (1) en één voor het
verplaatsen van de cliënt van een zittende
naar een liggende positie (2). Elke knop moet
ingedrukt worden gehouden om een beweging
te realiseren.

Plaats het kanteljuk op een geschikt oppervlak.
Voer voldoende liftband uit en bevestig het
kanteljuk aan de haak aan de liftband door de
haak diagonaal van onderen in te voeren, zie
afbeelding. Het product is nu klaar voor gebruik.

A: Stroomaansluiting
Plaats de plafondlift (1) op een geschikt oppervlak.
Sluit de voedingskabel (2) aan op de T-splitter (3).
Als een aangedreven traverselift wordt gebruikt,
moet deze op het open uiteinde van de T-splitter
(4) worden aangesloten. Sluit de T-splitter aan op
het laadcontact van de aangedreven traverse op de
plafondlift (5).
B: Bevestiging van het juk aan de haak
van de plafondlift
Plaats het aangedreven 4-punts kanteljuk
op een geschikt oppervlak. Voer voldoende
liftband uit en bevestig het kanteljuk aan de
haak van de liftband door de haak diagonaal van
onderen in te voeren. Sluit de voedingskabel
aan op het kanteljuk. Schakel de hoofdstroom
op de plafondlift in en maak de noodschakelaar
van het aangedreven 4-punts kanteljuk vrij. Het
product is nu klaar voor gebruik.

Schakel de hoofdstroom van de plafondlift uit.
Ontkoppel de voedingskabel van het kanteljuk.
Plaats het kanteljuk op een geschikt oppervlak.
Voer voldoende band uit en haal het kanteljuk
los van de haak aan de liftband door de haak
diagonaal van bovenaf door te voeren, zie
afbeelding.

Onderhoudsinstructies voor het 4-punts kanteljuk NL
Jaarlijkse inspectie
Het 4-punts kanteljuk moet minstens eenmaal
per jaar visueel geïnspecteerd worden door
iemand met Human Care-kwalificaties en in
overeenstemming met de richtlijn van Human
Care. Er moet met name aandacht worden
besteed aan onderdelen die slijtage vertonen.
Schoonmaken
Voor het reinigen van het oppervlak van
het 4-punts kanteljuk mogen alleen zuur-
en chloridevrije schoonmaakmiddelen
gebruikt worden, zoals warm water of een
zeepoplossing, met een zachte katoenen doek.
Na afloop van het schoonmaken moet het
product met water worden afgespoeld en
drooggewreven met een doek.
Ontsmetten
Als het 4-punts kanteljuk ontsmet moet
worden, kan het oppervlak van het gehele
product gereinigd worden met behulp van
ontsmettingsmiddelen zoals 70% ethanol, 45%
isopropanol of vergelijkbaar.
Service
Installatie, service en onderhoud mogen alleen
uitgevoerd worden door personeel met Human
Care-kwalificaties en in overeenstemming met
de richtlijn van Human Care. Alleen originele
reserveonderdelen mogen gebruikt worden.
Verwachte levensduur
Het 4-punts kanteljuk is getest volgens EN
ISO 10535, wat betekent dat het blijft werken
gedurende 11.000 tilcycli bij maximale
tilcapaciteit of 10 jaar met de juiste service en
onderhoud.
Recycling
Zodra het product het einde van zijn technische
levensduur heeft bereikt, moeten de
samenstellende delen volgens aanwijzingen
van de lokale autoriteiten worden afgevoerd.
Voor een optimale recycling moeten metalen
onderdelen worden behandeld als metaalafval.
Plastic onderdelen kunnen worden gesorteerd
als restafval.
Probleemoplossing NL
Beschrijving Actie
Er gebeurt niets wanneer u op de knop omhoog of op de
knop omlaag drukt op het bedieningspaneel.
1) Controleer of de netschakelaar op de lift aan staat.
2) De liftbatterijen zijn volledig ontladen. Laad de lift
onmiddellijk op.
3) De noodstop is niet ingedrukt. Deactiveer deze door de
rode knop rechtsom te draaien.
Er gebeurt niets wanneer er wordt geprobeerd een persoon
op te tillen.
Neem het oplossen van problemen in de
gebruikshandleiding van de specifieke lift door.
De clips kunnen niet losgemaakt worden van het
aangedreven 4-punts kanteljuk.
Zorg ervoor dat u het vergrendelingsmechanisme opent
door op de knoppen aan de zijkant van de clip te drukken.

Safety instructions
Before using for the first time, always ensure
that:
• You have read and understood the user
manual for the lift and all of its accessories.
• The lift has been installed in accordance
with the installation instructions.
• The lift accessories are intended for use with
the lift and must be correctly fitted.
• The lift´s batteries have been charged for at
least eight hours.
• Personnel, who use the equipment, have
been given adequate training in the use of
the (Powered) 4-point Spreader Bar and its
accessories.
Important! The 4-point Spreader Bar is
designed exclusively for lifting people,
and only one person at a time.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric
shock, this equipment must only be
connected to a supply main with
protective earth.

During use, always ensure that:
• The client is not left unattended during a
lifting situation.
• The lift belt is not twisted or worn and that
it moves freely in and out of the lift.
• Accessories, e.g. slings are showing no signs
of wear or other damages.
• The lift is correctly suspended in the lift belt
or distance strap.
• The right types, sizes, materials and design
of the accessories have been selected by
a proffessional with respect to the client´s
safety and need.
• The accessories have been correctly
attached. The sling´s clips are attached
correctly to the mounting pins, this should
be checked before lifting.

Important! Never attach the slings in any
other way then displayed in the image,
the textile loops are not for attaching to
the Spreader Bar.
Human Care provides suitable training in safe
operation of the (Powered) 4-point Spreader
Bar and other accessories, further information
about slings and other accessories can be found

Important! If the maximum load differs
between lift, (Powered) 4-point Spreader
Bar and slings, then the lowest maximum
load shall always be used.
Important! To ensure that the lift belt
will not be damaged, it is important that
the (Powered) 4-point Spreader Bar is
balanced and that the sling is suspended
correctly. Never hold or pull the lift belt
and (Powered) 4-point Spreader Bar when
moving a patient. It is also important that
the lift belt is tensioned as it is wound in.

Intended use
The 4-point spreader bar makes it possible
to lift and reposition a client in the most
comfortable and safe way for both the client
and the caregiver, even during the actual lifting
process.
The spreader bar shall only be used together
with Human Care´s overhead lift HeliQ.
The tilting movement is powered, which means
that the needed efforts of the caregiver are
reduced to a minimum, meaning lesser risks for
work related injuries.
Intended use of the sizes:
• Small: for smaller persons and/or children,
manual version.
• Medium: for adults and appropriate for
most of the lifting situations, powered
version.
• Large: for patients who require more space
in the sling because of broad-shouldered,
obese or sensitivity to pressure, powered
version.
The Powered 4-point Spreader Bar has been
designed and tested for use indoors and is
classified as an IPX4 product.
The climatic conditions should be as follows:
ambient temperature from 10°C to 40 °C,
relative ambient humidity from 30% to 75% and
ambient pressure from 700 hPa to 1060 hPa.
Important! The product must not be
immersed in water.

Hand maneuvering (A) (Model S, M & L)
The product is equipped with a handle to ease
movement of the patient during use and enabling
ergonomic rotation of the Spreader Bar.
Emergency stop (B) (Model M & L)
In case of an emergency, the emergency stop
can be activated by pressing the RED button. To
reset the emergency stop, turn the RED button
clockwise.
Control panels ENG
The control panels, located on each side of the
product (Medium and Large versions only),
are equipped with two tilting buttons, one
for moving the patient from laying to seating
position (1) and one for moving the patient
from seating to laying position (2). Each button
need to be pressed continuously to achieve any
movements.

Feed out enough of the lift belt and connect
the Spreader Bar to the hook on the lift belt by
threading the hook diagonally from below, see
figure. The product is now ready for use.

A: Power connection
Place the overhead lift (1) on a suitable surface.
Connect the power supply cable (2) to the
T-Splitter (3). If a power traverse lift is used
connect it to the open end of the T-Splitter (4).
Connect the T-Splitter to the Power Traverse
contact on the overhead lift (5), see figure.
B: Attachement of the bar to hook of
overhead lift
Place the Powered 4-point Spreader Bar on a
suitable surface. Feed out enough of the lift
belt and connect the Spreader Bar to the hook
on the lift belt by threading the hook diagonally
from below, see figure. Connect the power
supply cable to the Spreader Bar. Switch on the
main power on the overhead lift and release
the Powered 4-point Spreader Bar emergency
switch. The product is now ready for use.

lift. Disconnect the power supply cable of the
Spreader Bar. Place the Spreader Bar on a
suitable surface. Feed out enough of the belt
and disconnect the Spreader Bar from the hook
on the lift belt by threading the hook diagonally
from above, see figure.

Care instructions for the 4-point Spreader Bar ENG
Annual inspection
The 4-point Spreader Bar shall be inspected
visually at least once a year by someone with
Human Care qualifications and in accordance
with Human Care’s directive. Pay particular
attention to parts that show wear.
Cleaning
When cleaning the surface of the 4-point
Spreader Bar only use acid- and chloride-free
detergents, like warm water or a soap solution,
with a soft cotton swab. The cleaning sessions
shall always end with water rinse and drying
with a swab. The product shall be dry before
attaching to the lift.
Disinfecting
If the 4-point Spreader Bar needs to be
disinfected, the surface of the entire product
can be cleaned using disinfectants, 70%
ethanol, 45% isopropanol or similar should be
used.
Service
Installation, service and maintenance shall only
be performed by personnel with Human Care
qualifications and in accordance with Human
Care’s directive. Only original spare parts may
be used.
Expected service life
The 4-point Spreader Bar is tested according
to EN ISO 10535, which means it functions
for 11 000 lifting cycles at maximum lifting
capacity or for 10 years with correct service
and maintenance.
Recycling
Once the product has reached the end of
its technical life, it must be disposed of in
constituent parts according to local authorities.
Metal parts must be treated as metal waste for
optimum recycling. Plastic parts can be sorted
as residual waste.
Troubleshooting ENG
Description Action
Nothing happens when you press the Up button or the Down
button on the control panels.
1) Check that the mains switch on the lift is on.
2) The lift batteries are fully discharged. Charge the lift
immediately.
3) The emergency stop is not pushed in. Deactivate by
turning the red button clockwise.
Nothing happens when trying to lift a person. Please go through the troubleshooting in specific lift user
manual.
