ACE AFM-5 Atemalkoholtester Bedienungsanleitung – DE Breathalyzer Operating Manual – EN Alcotest Notice d’utilisation – FR Alkohol Tester Gebruiksaanwijzing – NL Test alcolico Istruzioni d´uso – IT Alcoholímetro Manual de instrucciones – ES www.alkomat.net 1 Atemalkoholtester ACE AFM-5 Wichtige Hinweise – DE Zur Kalibrierung Jeder Alkoholtester, der bei ACE Instruments gekauft wurde, kann auch von ACE Instruments kalibriert werden. Selbstverständlich kalibrieren wir auch Geräte, die woanders gekauft wurden, sofern diese Geräte baugleich zu den von ACE Instruments vertriebenen Geräten sind. Sie sehen das Fälligkeitsdatum der nächsten Kalibrierung am Kalibrier-Aufkleber auf Ihrem Alkoholtester. Wenn der Aufkleber fehlt, dann sollte die Kalibrierung 6 Monate nach dem Kauf-datum erfolgen: z.B. Kaufdatum: 13.05. = nächste Kalibrierung am 13.11. und danach am 13.05. des folgenden Jahres. Sie können das Gerät zum Kalibrieren an die unter www.alkomat.net angegebene Service-Adresse senden. Warum ist eine Kalibrierung notwendig? Die Kalibrierung muss nicht zwingend vorgenommen werden, die Genauigkeit des integrierten Sensors nimmt jedoch ohne Kalibrierung stetig ab und zusätzlich erlischt die Garantie, wenn die Kalibrier-Intervalle nicht eingehalten werden. ACE Instruments empfiehlt, mindestens ein Mal (1x) pro Woche einen Test mit dem Alkoholtester durchzuführen, unabhängig davon, ob man Alkohol getrunken hat. Zum Erhalt der Messgenauigkeit sollte das Gerät außerdem regelmäßig kalibriert werden. Bei hohen Alkoholkonzentrationen verschiebt sich der Nullpunkt verstärkt. Bei wenig bis gar nicht genutzten Geräten nimmt die Empfindlichkeit des Sensors ebenso ab. 2 3 Wichtige Hinweise zur Testdurchführung und zur Selbsteinschätzung Nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol sollte man mindestens 15 Minuten warten, da sich noch Restalkohol in der Mundhöhle befinden kann, der das Messergebnis beeinflusst. Rauchen sollte vor einem Test ebenso vermieden werden, da Zigarettenrauch dem Sensor schadet. Für jeden Test sollte man ein neues Mundstück verwenden – nicht nur aus hygienischen Gründen, sondern auch, weil ein bereits benutztes Mundstück das nächste Messergebnis beeinflussen kann. Im Mundstück könnte sich Restalkohol befinden, der bei einem erneuten Gebrauch desselben Mundstückes das neue Testergebnis beeinflusst (damit würde z.B. bei einer nüchternen Person eventuell eine Alkoholisierung angezeigt werden). Wenn am Display „FLOW“ bzw. „FLo“ angezeigt wird, dann war die abgegebene Atemprobe nicht ausreichend oder sie wurde zu früh beendet. Pusten Sie bei Ihrer Atemprobe zirka 4 Sekunden konstant und am besten so, als ob Sie ohne Ton pfeifen würden. Die Atemprobe ist beendet, sobald ein zweifacher Piepton zu hören ist. Wenn dieselbe Person 2 Tests hintereinander ausführt, dann sollte sie zwischen den beiden Tests mindestens 3 Minuten warten, da bei zu kurzer Wartezeit zu unterschiedliche Messwerte angezeigt werden können. Die aus der Lunge ausgeatmete Luft ist nach einem Test nicht mehr mit dem gleichen Alkoholgehalt angereichert wie beim kurz davor durchgeführten Test. Darum wird ein sofortiger zweiter Test einen geringeren Messwert anzeigen. Warum die gefühlte Alkoholisierung und das Messergebnis oft nicht übereinstimmen (können) Bei einem Alkoholtest gibt es sehr viele verschiedene Faktoren, die die Höhe des Messwertes beeinflussen. Dazu zählen neben dem Geschlecht, Alter, der Körpergröße und dem Körpergewicht auch der Körperfettanteil sowie die Höhe des Anteils an Körperflüssigkeit. Darüber hinaus sind auch der allgemeine physische und psychische Zustand bzw. die jeweilige Tagesverfassung zu berücksichtigen. Außerdem können die Art der Mahlzeiten vor dem Test (Art des Inhalts und Füllstand des Magens) und die Einnahme von Medikamenten den Messwert beeinflussen. Zu den weiteren Einfluss-Faktoren gehören natürlich die Getränkeart (Prozentanteil des Alkoholgehaltes im Getränk sowie dessen Kohlensäure- und Zuckergehalt), die Trinkgeschwindigkeit und die von der Testperson abhängige, individuelle Dauer in Bezug auf den Alkohol-Aufbau bzw. den Alkohol-Abbau im Körper. Manche Menschen haben schnell einen erhöhten Alkoholgehalt im Blut, bei anderen dauert es länger bis eine Alkoholisierung feststellbar ist. Etwa 40-50% des konsumierten Alkohols befinden sich innerhalb von 15 Minuten im Körper, nach 30 Minuten sind es 65% und nach spätestens 70 Minuten ist der zuvor konsumierte Alkohol zu 100% im Körper aufgenommen. Zu beachten ist dabei aber auch, dass manche Menschen – teils genetisch bedingt – den Alkoholgehalt im Blut schnell wieder abbauen, wogegen andere auch nach einem längeren Zeitraum noch einen erhöhten Alkoholgehalt im Blut aufweisen. Alle mit diesem Alkoholtester ermittelten Messwerte sind stets nur ein Richtwert und nicht rechtsverbindlich. 4 5 Breathalyzer ACE AFM-5 Important Notes – EN On the calibration Each breathalyzer which you buy from ACE Instruments can also be calibrated by ACE Instruments. Of course, we also calibrate devices which were bought from other contractors, as long as these devices are identical in construction to the devices sold by ACE Instruments. You can see the due date of the next calibration on the calibration sticker placed on your breathalyzer. If the sticker is missing, the calibration is to be done 6 months after the purchase date: e.g. purchase date: 13.05. = next calibration on the 13.11. and the next on the 13.05. of the following year. For a calibration service you can send the device to the service address specified at www.alkomat.net. Why is a calibration necessary? The calibration is not mandatory, but the accuracy of the sensor installed in the breathalyzer will decrease steadily without a calibration and additionally guarantee expires, if you don`t pay attention to the calibration ranges. ACE Instruments recommends using the breathalyzer at least once (1x) a week independently of having drunken alcohol or not. To maintain the measurement accuracy, the breathalyzer should also be calibrated periodically. Please also be aware of the several factors of influence on the measuring result Alcohol amount Period of the consumption of alcohol Gender Age Weight Height Drinking habits Health state Vitality of the liver Size of the lung Admission of food during the consumption of alcohol Influence of medicine Which factors influence the measurement accuracy The more often the device is used the more the zero point is influenced. The higher the alcohol concentration is, the more the zero point is relocated. Devices which are used rarely have a decreased sensibility, too. 6 7 Important notes on test execution and self-assessment After the last sip of alcohol you should wait at least 15 minutes, as there may still be residual alcohol in the oral cavity, which influences the measurement result. Also smoking should be avoided before a test, as cigarette smoke harms the sensor. Why the estimated alcoholization and the measurement result in most cases cannot match An alcohol test is affected by a lot of different factors which also affect the test result. Beside the gender, age, body size and body weight, also the body fat percentage and the amount of body fluid have a big influence. For each test you should use a new mouthpiece – not only for hygienic reasons, but also because an already used mouthpiece can influence the next measurement result. The mouthpiece could contain residual alcohol, which would affect the new test result when the same mouthpiece is used again (this for example could show an alcoholization of a person who hasn`t drunken any alcohol). In addition, the general physical and mental state or the current daily constitution have to be taken into consideration. Furthermore, the meals eaten before a breath test (type of content and level of the stomach) and the intake of medication may influence the measurement. If „FLOW“ or „FLo“ appears on the display, the given breath sample was insufficient or ended too soon. Blow into the moutpiece for about 4 seconds constantly (without a break) – preferably as if you were whistling without a sound. If the same person performs 2 tests consecutively, then wait at least 3 minutes between the two tests, as a too short waiting time may cause different measurement results. The air exhaled from the lungs is, after a test, no longer enriched with the same alcohol content as in the previous test. Therefore, an immediate second test will indicate a lower test result. All measured values determined with this breathalyzer are always indicative and not legally binding. 8 Other influencing factors are, of course, the type of drink (percentage of alcohol content in the beverage and its carbon dioxide and sugar content), the drinking rate and the individual subject‘s duration of alcohol build-up or degradation in the body. Some people quickly have a high alcohol content in the blood, with other people it takes longer until an alcoholization is detected. About 40-50% of the consumed alcohol is in the body within 15 minutes, after 30 minutes it is 65% and after 70 minutes the previously consumed alcohol is 100% absorbed in the body. However, it should also be noted that some people – partly due to genetic factors – quickly reduce the alcohol content in the blood, whereas others still have an increased alcohol content in the blood after a longer period of time. 9 Atemalkoholtester ACE AFM-5 Bedienungsanleitung – DE Autorenhaftung Die hier enthaltenen Informationen wurden von der Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH (ACE Instruments) gewissenhaft und unter Annahme ihrer Richtigkeit erstellt. Dieses Gerät liefert Testergebnisse mit einer Messtoleranz von +/- 0,05‰ (Promille) beim Referenzwert von 1,00 Promille und 25°C Umgebungstemperatur. Das Gerät darf nur in Übereinstimmung mit den Anweisungen in der Bedienungsanleitung verwendet werden. Die Messeinheit ‰ (Promille) = Grundeinstellung in der EU. In der „Alcofind“ App kann die Messeinheit in % BAC (USA) oder in mg/L (UK) umgestellt werden. Der ACE AFM-5 ist ein leicht bedienbares Alkoholmessgerät mit elektrochemischem Sensor, welches in Kombination mit Smartphones mit iOS- und Android-System verwendet wird (nicht mit Tablets benutzbar). Vor der Testdurchführung muss die App „Alcofind“ aus dem App Store (iOS) oder Google Play (Android) heruntergeladen bzw. am Smartphone installiert werden. Alle durch dieses Alkoholtestgerät ermittelten Messwerte dienen stets nur als Anhaltspunkt und sind nicht rechtsverbindlich. Atemtests sollten unter Verwendung von aufsteckbaren Mundstücken durchgeführt werden (pro Test sollte ein neues Mundstück verwendet werden). Der ACE AFM-5 entspricht der RICHTLINIE RED 2014/53/EU des europäischen Parlamentes und des Rates, detaillierte Informationen und das Zertifikat (ausgestellt im Dezember 2017 von MiCOM Labs, Inc.: EU Notified Body Number 2280) finden Sie bei der Artikelbeschreibung auf www.alkomat.net unter „Dokumente“. Hinweis zu länderspezifischen Messeinheiten Kunden in UK erhalten den Alkoholtester mit der Grundeinstellung mg/L, Kunden in den USA mit der Grundeinstellung % BAC. Bitte informieren Sie sich bei Bedarf über die aktuellen länderspezifischen Alkoholgrenzen, welche zum Beispiel auf der Website des Verkehrsministeriums oder von Automobilclubs erhältlich sind. Lieferumfang 1 Elektrochemischer Atemalkoholtester ACE AFM-5 1 AAA Batterie (1.5 V) 6 Mundstücke 1 Softtasche 1 Kurzanleitung (Deutsch & Englisch) 1 Bedienungsanleitung (Mehrsprachig) Der ACE AFM-5 misst die Alkoholkonzentration in der Atemluft und berechnet daraus die Blutalkoholkonzentration. Die in Promille ermittelten Messergebnisse werden bei Nutzung des Alkoholtesters in Kombination mit der App auf Ihrem Smartphone als 3-stelliger Zahlenwert mit 2 Dezimalstellen angezeigt und sind 1:1 interpretierbar (z.B. das Display zeigt den Wert 0,36 = 0,36 Promille). Der eingebaute Sensor kann kalibriert werden. Zur Erhaltung der Messgenauigkeit dieses Gerätes empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Kalibrierung. Sie können das Gerät zum Kalibrieren an die unter www.alkomat.net angegebene Service-Adresse senden. 01 02 Bezeichnung der einzelnen Bestandteile 3 1 4 2 J) Führen Sie keinen Test durch in sehr kalter, sehr heißer oder unbelüfteter, rauchiger Umgebung. K) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester so auf, dass das Eindringen von Staub und Flüssigkeiten verhindert wird. L) Pusten Sie nicht zu stark in das Gerät, dies schadet dem Sensor (vor allem, wenn durch das Pusten viel Speichel in das Gerät gelangt). Vorbereitung für den Test 1. Installieren Sie 1 Stück AAA-Batterie im Batteriefach. Entfernen Sie dafür den Batteriefachdeckel an der Rückseite des Gerätes vorsichtig und legen Sie 1 Stück AAA Batterie (Alkaline, 1.5 V) ein. Beachten Sie dabei die Batterie-Polarität (+/-). 2. Stecken Sie ein Mundstück auf die seitliche Öffnung zum Anbringen der Mundstücke. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Mundstück festsitzt. Verwenden Sie für jede Testperson ein neues Mundstück. 1. Mundstück und Öffnung zum Anbringen der Mundstücke 2. Startknopf (an der Geräte-Rückseite) 3. Luftauslass (immer freihalten) 4. Batteriefach-Abdeckung (an der Geräte-Rückseite) So erhalten Sie ein möglichst genaues Ergebnis A) Warten Sie nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol mindestens 15 Minuten bis zum Alkoholtest. Essen, trinken und rauchen Sie während dieser Zeit nicht. B) Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse nicht. C) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester nicht an einem kalten oder heißen oder feuchten oder schlecht belüfteten Platz auf. D) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. E) Führen Sie nach längerer Aufbewahrungszeit drei „Einlauftests“ durch, bevor Sie den eigentlichen Alkoholtest durchführen. F) Lassen Sie den Alkoholtester nicht fallen. G) Ersetzen Sie die Batterie, wenn ihre Leistung schwach ist. Verringerte Batteriekapazität führt zu falschen Testergebnissen. H) Führen Sie keinen Test in lauten (Schallwellen stören den Sensor), zugigen oder schlecht belüfteten Plätzen durch. I) Nach einem Testergebnis von 1,00 Promille oder höher benötigt der Sensor eine längere Erholungszeit. Warten Sie in diesem Fall mindestens drei Minuten bis zum nächsten Test. 03 3. Laden Sie die App „Alcofind“ aus dem App Store (iOS) oder aus dem Google Play Store oder (Android) herunter. Ihr Smartphone sollte mindestens das Betriebssystem iOS 7 (Apple) oder höher bzw. OS 4.3 (Android) oder höher nutzen. Nach dem Herunterladen müssen Sie das App auf Ihrem Smartphone öffnen und die gewünschte Sprache auswählen sowie die Messeinheit, dann wählen Sie OK. Sie können die Einstellungen später jederzeit im App ändern. Testdurchführung mit Nutzung des Smartphone-Apps (App Modus) A) Vergewissern Sie sich vor einem Alkoholtest, dass auf Ihrem Smartphone „Bluetooth“ aktiviert ist. Anschließend öffnen Sie die „Alcofind“-App auf Ihrem Smartphone. B) Schalten Sie den ACE AFM-5 ein, indem Sie den Startknopf 1 Sekunde lang drücken. Es erscheint ein blaues, grünes und rotes LED-Licht am Alkoholtester und der Aufwärmprozess beginnt. 04 Hinweis: Wenn Sie die App nicht geöffnet haben und keine Bluetooth-Verbindung zwischen dem Alkoholtester und dem Smartphone besteht, dann wechselt der ACE AFM-5 in der Aufwärmphase automatisch in einen Modus, in welchem Sie den Alkoholtester ohne App nutzen können. C) Wenn Sie den Alkoholtester (mit aktiviertem Bluetooth) in Verbindung mit Ihrem Smartphone nutzen, dann blinkt nach dem Drücken des Startknopfes ein blaues Licht. Es bedeutet, dass sich der Alkoholtester via Bluetooth mit Ihrem Smartphone verbindet. Beim ersten Verbindungsversuch wird ein PINCode abgefragt, der „000000“ lautet (tippen Sie diesen in der App ein). War die Verbindung erfolgreich, so verschwindet das blaue Licht, das grüne sowie das rote Licht beginnen zu leuchten und auf dem Display Ihres Smartphones erscheint „START TEST“. Sie können nun mit dem Test beginnen, indem Sie in der App auf „START TEST“ tippen oder auf dem Alkoholtester den Startknopf kurz drücken. Hinweis: Wenn die App den ACE AFM-5 nicht erkennt, so erscheint eine Abfrage, ob Sie einen anderen Alkoholtester verbinden oder einen neuen Verbindungsversuch starten möchten (klicken Sie für letztere Wahl auf „Cancel“). D) Wählen Sie einen Benutzer aus. Jedes Testergebnis wird für jeden einzelnen Benutzer gespeichert (entweder für Sie selbst oder für jemand anderen). Die Testergebnisse werden anschließend in einer Grafik dargestellt, die über ein Icon am unteren Menü-Rand abrufbar ist. E) In der App sehen Sie den Fortschritt der Aufwärmphase anhand einer kreisförmigen Darstellung. Sobald der Fortschritt die Ziffer 95 erreicht hat, atmen Sie tief ein und machen Sie sich bereit für den Alkoholtest. F) Sobald „Puste“ in der App angezeigt wird, pusten Sie 5 Sekunden lang konstant und ohne Unterbrechung in das am ACE AFM-5 angebrachte Mundstück. Sobald im Display der App die Ziffer 100 erreicht ist und beim Alkoholtester ein Klick ertönt, ist der Test beendet. HINWEIS: Wenn die Kamerafunktion Ihres Smartphones aktiviert ist, dann erstellt die Kamera automatisch ein Bild von der Testperson, sobald der Test beendet ist. G) Wenn die Atemprobe ausreichend war, dann erscheint „Analyse läuft“ auf dem Display der App. Hinweis 1: Wenn die Atemprobe nicht ausreichend war, dann erscheint eine Fehlermeldung am Display der App. Drücken Sie in der App auf „OK“ um einen neuen Test zu starten. Hinweis 2: In der Grafik erscheinen Tests, die ohne Nutzung der App durchgeführt wurden, mit dem Buchstaben „D“. H) Nach dem Analysevorgang wird der beim zuvor erfolgten Test ermittelte Alkohol-Level am Display der App angezeigt. Sie können zu diesem Test-Ergebnis ein Memo hinzufügen, das später in der Grafik-Übersicht angezeigt wird und außerdem als Textnachricht verschickt oder auf Facebook oder Twitter veröffentlicht werden kann. 05 I) Tippen Sie in der App auf „Neuer Test“ oder „Ergebnis“ oder drücken Sie auf den Startknopf des Alkoholtesters um einen weiteren Test durchzuführen (ohne einen Benutzer auswählen zu müssen). Wenn Sie einen komplett neuen Test durchführen wollen (mit Auswahl eines anderen Benutzers), dann drücken Sie in der App auf die „Home“-Taste am unteren Rand des App-Displays. J) Wenn Sie keinen weiteren Test durchführen und das Gerät abschalten wollen, dann drücken 2 Sekunden lang Sie den Startknopf auf dem Alkoholtester, der sich anschließend abschaltet. Hinweis: Der Alkoholtester schaltet sich automatisch aus, wenn er 2 Minuten lang nicht genutzt wird. Wenn Sie die App schließen, während das Smartphone noch mit dem Alkoholtester verbunden ist, dann blinkt das blaue, das grüne und das rote Licht gleichzeitig. Drücken Sie den Startknopf am Alkoholtester, um ihn erneut zu starten. Testdurchführung ohne Nutzung der App (Stand-alone Modus) Hinweis: Um den Stand-alone Modus zu aktivieren, müssen Sie zuerst die App auf Ihrem Smartphone aufrufen sowie den Alkoholtester einschalten. Verbinden Sie dann den Alkoholtester via App mit dem Smartphone und legen Sie (nach erfolgreicher Verbindung) in der App mit dem Limit-Balken das Mess-Limit fest. Sobald Sie das Mess-Limit erfasst haben, drücken Sie auf die Home-Taste in Ihrer App, dadurch wird der Wert gespeichert und auf den Alkoholtester übertragen. Erklärung des „Limit-Balkens“: Damit bestimmen Sie, ab welchem Wert der Alkoholtester ein rotes Licht anzeigt und bis zu welchem Wert er ein grünes Licht anzeigt. Bsp.: Der Limit Balken wurde bei 0,5 Promille festgelegt, dadurch wird bei allen Messergebnissen bis 0,49 Promille am Alkoholtester ein grünes Licht angezeigt und ab 0,5 Promille ein rotes Licht. HINWEIS: Wenn die Batterieladung gering oder die Umgebungstemperatur zu hoch/niedrig ist, dann blinken das blaue, das rote und das grüne Licht gleichzeitig. Ersetzen Sie die Batterie oder gehen Sie an einen Ort, an dem die Umgebungstemperatur zwischen 5-40°C beträgt. A) Schalten Sie den ACE AFM-5 ein, indem Sie den Startknopf 1 Sekunde lang drücken. Am Alkoholtester (beim Mundstückeinlass) beginnt ein blaues, grünes und rotes LED-Licht zu leuchten. Wenn der Alkoholtester nicht mit der auf einem Smartphone installierten App verbunden wird, dann startet er automatisch im Stand-alone Modus. Der Sensor beginnt mit der Aufwärmphase und das blaue Licht blinkt so lange, bis diese Phase beendet ist. Bringen Sie während der Aufwärmphase ein Mundstück am Alkoholtester an (aus Hygienegründen und für plausible Messwerte sollte für jeden Test ein neues Mundstück verwendet werden). HINWEIS: Wenn für den Alkoholtester mit dem „Limit Balken“ noch kein Mess-Limit definiert wurde, dann blinken nach dem Aufwärmprozess das blaue, rote und 06 grüne LED Licht gleichzeitig. In diesem Fall müssen Sie den Alkoholtester mit dem Smartphone verbinden. Öffnen Sie dazu die App auf Ihrem Smartphone und legen Sie unter den Einstellungen den „Limit Balken“ fest. Zusatzhinweis: Wenn Sie den Alkoholtester im Stand-alone Modus benutzen und nebenbei die App auf Ihrem Smartphone öffnen, dann wechselt der Alkoholtester automatisch in den App Modus. Wenn Sie sich im Stand-alone Modus befinden und die App während der Abgabe Ihrer Atemprobe öffnen, dann wechselt der Alkoholtester beim Testende in den App Modus. B) Wenn das blaue Licht nicht mehr blinkt und stattdessen ein grünes und ein rotes Licht seitlich am Alkoholtester gleichzeitig zu blinken beginnen, dann können Sie Ihren Atemtest starten (falls Sie zu lange warten, dann beginnen das blaue, das rote und das grüne Licht gleichzeitig zu blinken und der Alkoholtester schaltet sich automatisch aus). Atmen Sie tief ein und pusten Sie danach 5 Sekunden lang konstant und ohne Pause in das Mundstück in das am Alkoholtester angesteckte Mundstück. Während des Tests blinkt nur mehr das blaue Licht und zwar nur so lange, bis eine ausreichende Atemprobe abgegeben wurde. Der Atemtest dauert nur wenige Sekunden und am Ende verschwindet das blaue Licht. C) Wenn die Atemprobe ausreichend ist, dann blinken das rote und das grüne Licht abwechselnd seitlich am Alkoholtester und kurz danach wird das Messergebnis in Form eines grünen oder roten Lichts angezeigt (dazu wird der zuvor erwähnte Limit Balken herangezogen). Hinweis: Wenn das blaue, das grüne und das rote Licht gleichzeitig blinken, dann war die Atemprobe nicht ausreichend. D) Drücken Sie 1x den Startknopf um einen neuen Atemtest durchführen zu können (so starten Sie auch nach einem erfolgreichen Atemtest einen neuen Test). E) Um den Alkoholtester komplett auszuschalten, drücken Sie 2 Sekunden lang durchgehend den Startknopf. Hinweis: Der Alkoholtester schaltet sich automatisch aus, wenn er 2 Minuten lang nicht genutzt wird. HINWEIS zur Anzeige des grünen bzw. roten Lichts: Es gibt insgesamt 6 Levels - 3 Levels, die nach einem Atemtest ein grünes Licht anzeigen und 3 Levels, die ein rotes Licht anzeigen. Die Anzeige ist abhängig vom festgelegten Limit Balken (siehe unten angezeigte Grafik und hier die rote Linie bei „set value“). 07 Erklärung der Messergebnis-Anzeige Die Zahlenwerte über MESS-LIMIT müssen zum Mess-Limit addiert werden, die Werte unter MESS-LIMIT-Balken müssen vom Mess-Limit abgezogen werden. Beispiel: Wenn Sie 0,50‰ als MESS-LIMIT in der App eingestellt haben und Ihre aktuelle Atemprobe beträgt 0,30‰, dann blinkt das grüne Licht im Abstand von 1 Sekunde. Wenig Alkohol (mittel) Das grüne LED Licht blinkt im Intervall von 1s. Wenig Alkohol (hoch) Das grüne LED Licht leuchtet ständig. *Das voreingestellte Mess-Limit liegt bei 0,50 Promille. Hinweis zum Messergebnis Wenn das Mess-Limit mit dem „Limit Balken“ auf 0,20 Promille gesetzt wurde, werden 2 Bestanden-Levels angezeigt und zwar der Bestanden-Level (hoch) und der Bestanden-Level (mittel). Diese beiden Levels bedeuten, dass noch keine allzu bedenkliche Alkoholisierung vorliegt. Wenn der „Limit Balken“ auf 0,10 Promille gesetzt wurde, wird nur 1 Bestanden-Level angezeigt und zwar der Bestanden-Level (hoch), dies bedeutet, dass die Alkoholisierung wenig bedenklich ist. Hinweis zur Speicherung von Messergebnissen Der Alkoholtester ACE AFM-5 speichert bis zu 30 Messergebnisse, wobei beim 31. Test das älteste Messergebnis automatisch gelöscht wird. Wird der ACE AFM-5 via Bluetooth mit dem Smartphone verbunden, so werden die im Alkoholtester gespeicherten Messergebnisse an die App geschickt und gleichzeitig werden alle am Alkoholtester gespeicherten Messergebnisse automatisch gelöscht. Die in die App über08 nommenen Messergebnisse können über den Daten-Button im App-Menü aufgerufen und in der App-Grafik angesehen werden. In der App-Grafik werden die vom Alkoholtester übernommenen Messergebnisse mit einem „D“ gekennzeichnet. ACE Instruments empfiehlt Benutzen Sie für jede testende Person immer ein neues Mundstück! ACE Instruments übernimmt keine Verantwortung für jegliche Schäden, die durch den Gebrauch eines Mundstückes durch mehrere Personen und für mehrere Tests entstehen können. Benützen Sie stets die hygienisch und einzeln verpackten ACE Instruments Mundstücke. Das Testgerät kommt bei jedem Test innen und außen mit menschlichen Ausscheidungen in Kontakt (Schweiß, Speichel, Blut etc.). Benützen Sie Handschuhe, wenn Sie die für einen Test verwendeten Mundstücke vom Gerät abnehmen, vor allem dann, wenn fremde Personen den Test durchgeführt haben. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) führt in seinem Sortiment dafür geeignete Handschuhe. Wichtige Hinweise Wenn Sie etwas gegessen, Alkohol getrunken oder eine Zigarette geraucht haben, so warten Sie mindestens 20 Minuten bevor Sie mit der Messung beginnen. Dieser Alkoholtester ist ein hochwertiges und empfindliches Messgerät. Um die Messgenauigkeit des elektrochemischen Sensors aufrechtzuhalten, sollte das Gerät regelmäßig benutzt werden. Wird das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt, so kann der Sensor austrocknen. Wir empfehlen, den Alkoholtester mindestens 2x pro Monat für Alkoholtests zu verwenden (auch wenn Sie nichts getrunken haben). Bei Messwerten unter 0,050‰ (ODER 0,005% BAC ODER 0,025mg/l – je nach Einstellung) wird das Testergebnis als 0,000‰ angezeigt. Dies geschieht deshalb, weil bei einem geringen Alkohollevel andere Substanzen in der Atemluft enthalten sein können, welche das Ergebnis der Atemprobe beeinflussen. Durch Änderungen am Produkt können sich die beschriebenen Abläufe ändern. Dies kann ohne Vorankündigung und Anpassung der Bedienungsanleitung geschehen und ist kein Grund zur Reklamation, Retoure oder Preisminderung. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Anwenders, Abweichungen zwischen der Bedienungsanleitung und der tatsächlichen Bedienung dieses Atemalkoholtesters zu erkennen und entsprechend zu reagieren. ACE Instruments warnt Selbst wenn das Gerät Alkoholisierung im „sicheren“ Bereich anzeigt, ist dies nach dem Genuss von Alkohol kein Freibrief für das Lenken eines Fahrzeuges oder eine andere Tätigkeit, die unter Alkoholeinfluss nicht ausgeführt werden sollte. Kalibrierung ACE Instruments empfiehlt die Kalibrierung des im Gerät integrierten Sensors zirka alle 12 Monate oder nach 500 Tests (je nachdem, welches Ereignis früher eintritt). Die Kalibrierung muss nicht zwingend vorgenommen werden, die Genauigkeit des integrierten Sensors nimmt jedoch ohne Kalibrierung stetig ab und zusätzlich erlischt die Garantie für den Sensor. Wir empfehlen die Einsendung als Paket, damit im Fall der Unauffindbarkeit der Abliefernachweis bzw. Nachforschungsauftrag möglich ist. Hinweise zu den Batterien Das Gerät, auf das sich diese Bedienungsanleitung bezieht, enthält im Auslieferungszustand 1 AAA Alkaline-Batterie. Diese Batterie ist nicht dazu bestimmt, wieder aufgeladen zu werden. Ebenso ist die Verwendung einer wiederaufladbaren Batterie im Gerät zu unterlassen, da sonst Schaden am Gerät entsteht. Ist die Batterie leer, so darf sie nicht in den Hausmüll geworfen werden. Altbatterien enthalten möglicherweise Schadstoffe, die Umwelt und Gesundheit schaden können. Bitte geben Sie die Batterien/Akkus im Handel oder an den Recyclinghöfen der Kommunen ab. Die Rückgabe ist unentgeltlich und gesetzlich vorgeschrieben. Batterietausch Zum Batterietausch schieben Sie die Batteriefach-Abdeckung an der Rückseite des Gerätes nach oben und ersetzen Sie die entladene Batterie gegen eine neue Batterie. Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterie auf deren Polarität: Der Minuspol der Batterie muss mit den Federn in der Batteriemulde Kontakt haben. Introduction Thank you for purchasing our ACE AFM-5 Breathalyzer. It measures alcohol concentration in human breath using an electrochemical sensor and calculates the blood alcohol level. The test results are very reliable and have a tolerance of +/- 0.05‰ (per mill) with reference to 1.00‰ at 25°C ambient temperature. The device must only be used pursuant to the instructions mentioned in this manual. The ACE AFM-5 Breathalyzer is an easy-to-use alcohol tester with an electrochemical sensor. It is used in combination with a smartphone (only iOS and Android system possible / no tablets). Before performing the test you have to download the “ALCOFIND“ app from the App Store (iOS) or from Google Play (Android) and install the app on your smartphone. The test result can be interpreted 1:1 (so if the shown test result is, e.g., 0.360, then this means 0.360 per mill). ‰ (per mill) = measurement unit in the EU, in the App “Alcofind“ you can change the measurement unit into % BAC (USA) or into mg/L (UK). The device must only be used pursuant to the instructions mentioned in this manual. All measured values determined by this breathalyzer are always a guide only and are not legally binding. Breath tests should be carried out using clip-on mouthpieces (one new mouthpiece should be used per test for reasons of hygiene and to avoid falsified readings). The ACE AFM-5 complies with DIRECTIVE RED 2014/53/EU of the European Parliament and the Council, detailed information and the certificate (issued in December 2017 by MiCOM Labs, Inc.: EU Notified Body Number 2280) can be found in the article description at www.alkomat.net under „Documents“. Note to country-specific measurement units Customers in the EU get the breathalyzer with ‰ (per mill) as default setting, in the UK the default setting is mg/L and in the USA it is % BAC. In the chapter „Technical data“ you will find information about the accuracy concerning the different measurement units. Please check e.g. the website of the department of transportation, the website of the Ministry of Transport or of automotive clubs to get informed about the current alcohol limits in your country. For a calibration service you can send the device to ACE Instruments (see www.alkomat.net). For each breath test a new mouthpiece is required. 15 16 Label of individual components 3 1 4 K) Store the breathalyzer in a way to avoid penetration by dust or liquids. L) Blowing too hard may cause damage to the sensor as saliva flows into it. Preparation for the test 1. Installing a battery Push up the bottom part of battery cover to open it. Install an AAA battery in the battery compartment while taking note of the battery polarity. Insert bulging parts of the battery cover into the slits and then push down its cover. 2 2. Inserting a mouthpiece Insert a mouthpiece into the slot on the side of the alcohol tester. Ensure whether it securely fits or not. It is highly recommended to use an extra mouthpiece for every test for sanitary reasons. 1. Mouthpiece and Mouthpiece Slot 2. Power Button (on the back of the device) 3. Air Outlet (always keep this part unblocked) 4. Battery Compartment Cover (on the back of the device) This way you receive results that are as accurate as possible A) Wait at least 15 minutes after your last sip of alcohol. Do not eat, drink or smoke during that time. B) Do not open the casing. C) Do not keep the breathalyzer in cold, hot, moist or badly ventilated places. D) Keep the breathalyzer out of the reach of children. E) Conduct three inlet tests after long storage before conducting the actual alcohol test. F) Do not drop the breathalyzer. G) Change the battery if it is depleted. Diminished battery capacity leads to incorrect test results. H) Do not conduct tests in loud (sound waves disrupt the sensor), drafty or poorly ventilated places. I) After a test result of 1.00 per mill (per mill = EU setting) / 0.10% BAC (% BAC = US setting) / 0.50mg/L (mg/L = UK setting) or higher the sensor needs rest time. In this case wait at least three minutes before starting the next test. J) Do not conduct tests in very cold, very hot or an unventilated, smoky ambience. 17 3. Installing the ACE AFM-5 app Download the ALCOFIND app from App store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Note the minimum smartphone requirements: Either an iPhone 4S running iOS 7 and above or Android devices running OS 4.3 and above. Open the app. Select language and unit, then press OK button. NOTE: For changing language and unit later, go to setting at the bottom menu. Operation with App (App mode) Step 1. Open the app. NOTE: Bluetooth must first be switched on in order to connect to the ACE AFM-5. (Go to the settings on your smartphone and turn on Bluetooth.) Step 2. To turn on the ACE AFM-5, press and hold Power button for a second until the Blue, Green and Red LEDs appear on the device as shown in the picture below. Step 3. The Blue LED will blink during pairing process. If pairing is successful, Green and Red LEDs will appear on the device and the screen on your smartphone will show „START TEST“. Tap „START TEST“ on your smartphone (or press Power button on the ACE AFM-5). 18 NOTE: In case of the first pairing process, a PIN Code request will be displayed. Type in „000000“ as PIN Code. NOTE: The app is set to remember and search the device which has paired last time for 30 seconds. If the app is not able to find the previously paired ACE AFM-5 for 30 seconds, the app will show a request message. If you want the app to find another ACE AFM-5, press „OK“, and if you want the app to keep finding the previously paired ACE AFM-5, press „Cancel“. Step 4. Choose a user. Each test result will be saved separately according to the selection of the user. All history of saved test results are viewable from the Graphic Icon at the bottom of the menu. Step 5. The circular bar on the app indicates the progress of warm-up. When warming up gage reaches 95, take a deep breath and get ready for blowing. Step 6. When „Start blowing“ is displayed, blow for 5 seconds into the mouthpiece until the gage reaches 100 or you feel the air has been pulled through the air pump in the ACE AFM-5 with a click. NOTE: If the camera feature is enabled, the camera will automatically capture the image of a user once the blowing has been completed. Step 7. If a sufficient breath sample is taken correctly, the „Analyzing data“ will be shown on the app. NOTE: If insufficient sample is taken, an error message will displayed. To test again, press „OK“ on the app. NOTE: In the graph, the test results performed without app will be shown as „D“. Step 8. After a few seconds the estimated blood alcohol concentration will be displayed on the app in per mill (3 digits, 2 decimals/per mill = default setting). The result may vary depending on the concentration which has been measured during the last test. In this page, the app enables you to make a memo which is viewable with test results from the Graph icon and the test results can be also shareable via Text message, Facebook, or Twitter. Step 9. Tap either „Retest“ or „BAC level“ on the app (or press Power button on the ACE AFM-5) to test again without selecting a user. If you want to start test again from the beginning, tap the Home Icon at the bottom menu. Step 10. Press and hold Power button on the ACE AFM-5 for 2 seconds to turn it off when you have finished testing. NOTE: The device will turn off automatically if the device is not in use for 2 minutes. If you exit the app while the device is working with the app, all Blue, Red and Green LEDs on the device will flicker together. Press Power Button on the device to restart. 19 Operation without App (Standalone mode) NOTE: To activate Standalone mode, you have to pair the ACE AFM-5 with the app and set „Limit Line“ first. (Pair with the app and go to the setting on the app to set „Limit Line“.) Once „Limit Line“ is set, the set value will be sent to the ACE AFM-5, and the test result on Standalone mode will be displayed with indications of Red or Green LEDs according to the set value of „Limit Line“. (After setting the value of „Limit Line“, you should move into Home by tapping the Home Icon at the bottom menu on the app in order to save and transfer the set value to the ACE AFM-5.) NOTE: If the battery is low or the device is in unacceptable temperature range, all Blue, Red and Green LEDs will flicker together. Replace a new battery or try again after the device has reached a temperature within the operating range (5-40°C). Step 1. To turn on the ACE AFM-5, press and hold Power button for a second until the Blue, Green and Red LEDS appear on the device. Step 2. If the app on your smartphone is off and there is no pairing signal from the app, the device will move into the Standalone Mode and starts the warm-up automatically. A Blue LED keeps blinking until the warm-up process is completed. NOTE: If the device doesn‘t have the set value of „Limit line“, all Blue, Red and Green LEDs will flicker together after the warm-up process. Pair the device with the app and set „Limit Line“ on the setting menu of the app. If you turn on the app on you smartphone while using the device in the Standalone Mode, the device will move into the App Mode and start pairing automatically. (If you turn on the app while the device is under the blowing or analyzing process in the Standalone Mode, the device will move into the App Mode after completing these processes.) Step 3. When the Blue LED stops blinking and remains on, it means the device is ready for blowing. Take a deep breath and blow for 5 seconds into the mouthpiece until the Blue LED disappears. Step 4. If a sufficient breath sample is taken correctly, Green and Red LEDs will blink in turns and the test result will be displayed in a few seconds. NOTE: If an insufficient breath sample is taken, blue, red and green LEDs will flicker together. Press Power button to retest. Step 5. Test results will be displayed with indications of Red or Green LEDs according to the set value of „Limit Line“ as follows. Press Power Button to retest. Step 6. Dans ce cas, attendez au moins trois minutes avant tout nouveau test. J) N‘effectuez pas de test dans un environnement très froid ou très chaud, sans aération ou enfumé. K) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool de sorte qu‘aucune intrusion de poussière ou de liquide ne soit possible. L) Ne soufflez pas trop fort dans l‘appareil, cela endommage le capteur (notamment si beaucoup de salive entre dans l‘appareil). Préparation pour le test 1. Installez une pile AAA dans le compartiment à pile. Pour cela, ôtez soigneusement le couvercle du compartiment à pile à l‘arrière de l‘appareil et insérez une pile AAA (alcaline, 1,5 V). Ce faisant, observez la polarité de la pile (+/-). 2. Placez un embout buccal sur l‘ouverture latérale destiné aux embouts buccaux. Vérifiez que l‘embout buccal soit bien fixé. Pendant ce laps de temps, abstenez-vous de manger, de boire ou de fumer. B) N‘ouvrez pas le boîtier. C) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool à l‘abri du froid ou de la chaleur, dans un endroit sec et bien aéré. D) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool hors de portée des enfants. E) Après une longue durée sans utiliser l‘appareil, effectuez trois tests de fonctionnement, avant de procéder au test effectif. F) Ne faites pas tomber l‘unité de test d‘alcool. G) Remplacez les piles lorsque la performance de l‘appareil faiblit. Une capacité réduite des piles conduirait à des résultats erronés. H) Ne faites pas de test dans un endroit bruyant (les ondes sonores perturbent le capteur), exposé aux courants d‘airs ou mal aérés. 29 3. Téléchargez l‘application « Alcofind » dans l‘App Store (iOS) ou le Google Play Store (Android). Votre smartphone doit fonctionner au minimum avec le système d‘exploitation iOS 7 (Apple) ou plus récent, ou bien OS 4.3 (Android) ou plus récent. Après le téléchargement, vous devez ouvrir l‘application sur votre smartphone, sélectionner la langue souhaitée ainsi que l‘unité de mesure, puis appuyer sur OK. Vous pouvez à tout moment modifier les réglages ultérieurement dans l‘application. 30 Réalisation du test en utilisant l‘application pour smartphone (mode application) A) Avant d‘effectuer un alcootest, assurez-vous que « Bluetooth » soit activé sur votre smartphone. Ensuite, ouvrez l‘application « Alcofind » dans votre smartphone. B) Allumez l‘ACE AFM-5 en appuyant sur le bouton de démarrage pendant 1 seconde. Une lumière bleue, une lumière verte et une lumière rouge apparaissent sur l‘alcootest et le processus de réchauffement débute. INDICATION : Si vous n‘avez pas ouvert l‘application et qu‘il n‘y a pas de connexion Bluetooth entre l‘alcootest et le smartphone, alors durant la phase de réchauffement, l‘ACE AFM-5 passe automatiquement dans un mode avec lequel vous pouvez utiliser l‘alcootest sans application. C) Si vous utilisez l‘alcootest (avec Bluetooth activé) en association avec votre smartphone, alors une lumière bleue clignote après avoir appuyé sur le bouton de démarrage. Cela signifie que l‘alcootest se connecte à votre smartphone via Bluetooth. Lors de la première tentative de connexion, vous devez saisir dans l‘application le code PIN suivant : « 000000 ». Si la connexion a réussi, alors la lumière bleue disparaît, la lumière verte ainsi que la lumière rouge s‘allument et « START TEST » apparaît sur l‘écran de votre smartphone. Vous pouvez désormais démarrer le test en appuyant sur « START TEST » dans l‘application ou bien en appuyant brièvement sur le bouton de démarrage de l‘alcootest. INDICATION : Si l‘application ne reconnaît pas l‘ACE AFM-5, alors le programme vous demandera si vous souhaitez relier un autre alcootest ou bien lancer une autre tentative de connexion (pour effectuer ce dernier choix, cliquez sur « Cancel »). D) Sélectionnez un utilisateur. Chaque résultat de test est sauvegardé pour chaque utilisateur (soit pour vous ou bien pour quelqu‘un d‘autre). Les résultats du test sont ensuite représentés sous forme de graphique accessible via une icône sur le bord inférieur du menu. E) Dans l‘application, vous pouvez visualiser la progression de la phase de réchauffement via une représentation en forme de cercle. Dès que la progression a atteint le chiffre 95, inspirez profondément et préparez-vous pour l‘alcootest. F) Dès que « Souffler » s‘affiche dans l‘application, soufflez de manière constante pendant 5 secondes, sans interruption, dans l‘embout buccal fixé sur l‘ACE AFM-5. Dès que le chiffre 100 est atteint dans l‘application et que l‘alcootest émet un clic sonore, le test est terminé. INDICATION : Lorsque la fonction appareil photo de votre smartphone est activée, l‘appareil photo prend automatiquement une photo de la personne testée dès que le test est terminé. G) Si le test d‘haleine a été suffisant, alors « Analyse en cours » s‘affiche dans l‘application. 31 INDICATION 1 : Si le test d‘haleine n‘a pas été suffisant, alors un message d‘erreur s‘affiche dans l‘application. Dans l‘application, appuyez sur « OK » afin de démarrer un nouveau test. INDICATION 2 : Sur le graphique, les tests effectués sans utiliser l‘application s‘affichent avec la lettre « D ». H) Après le processus d‘analyse, le niveau d‘alcool déterminé durant le test effectué auparavant s‘affiche dans l‘application. Vous pouvez ajouter un mémo au résultat de ce test. Ce mémo sera ensuite affiché dans l‘aperçu graphique. Il peut être envoyé sous forme de message SMS ou bien publié sur Facebook ou Twitter. I) Dans l‘application, appuyez sur « Nouveau test » ou « Résultat » ou bien appuyez sur le bouton de démarrage de l‘alcootest afin d‘effectuer un autre test (sans devoir sélectionner un utilisateur). Si vous souhaitez effectuer un test totalement nouveau (en sélectionnant un autre utilisateur), alors dans l‘application, appuyez sur le bouton « Home » situé dans le bord inférieur de l‘affichage de l‘application. J) Si vous ne souhaitez pas effectuer d‘autre test et éteindre l‘appareil, alors maintenez le bouton de démarrage de l‘alcootest enfoncé pendant 2 secondes. L‘alcootest s‘éteindra alors. INDICATION : L‘alcootest s‘éteint automatiquement lorsqu‘il n‘est pas utilisé pendant 2 minutes. Si vous fermez l‘application pendant que le smartphone est encore connecté à l‘alcootest, alors la lumière bleue, la lumière verte et la lumière rouge clignotent simultanément. Appuyez sur le bouton de démarrage de l‘alcootest afin de le redémarrer. Réalisation du test sans utilisant l‘application (mode autonome) INDICATION : Afin d‘activer le mode autonome, vous devez d‘abord lancer l‘application sur votre smartphone et allumer l‘alcootest. Connectez ensuite l‘alcootest avec le smartphone via l‘application et définissez (après la connexion) la limite de mesure dans l‘application via la barre de limite. Dès que vous avez défini la limite de mesure, appuyez sur la touche Home dans votre application. Ainsi, la valeur sera sauvegardée et transmise à l‘alcootest. Explication relative à la « barre de limite » : Grâce à celle-ci, vous déterminez à partir de quelle valeur l‘alcootest affiche une lumière rouge et jusqu‘à quelle valeur il affiche une lumière verte. Par ex. : La barre de limite a été définie à 0,5 pour mille, par conséquent, pour tous les résultats mesurés jusqu‘à 0,49 pour mille, une lumière verte s‘affiche, ainsi qu‘une lumière rouge à partir de 0,5 pour mille. INDICATION : Si la charge de la batterie est faible ou que la température ambiante est trop haute/basse, alors la lumière bleue, la lumière rouge et la lumière verte clignotent simultanément. Remplacez la batterie ou bien déplacez-vous vers un endroit où la température ambiante est comprise entre 5°C et 40°C. 32 A) Allumez l‘ACE AFM-5 en appuyant sur le bouton de démarrage pendant 1 seconde. Une lumière bleue LED, une lumière verte LED et une lumière rouge LED s‘allument sur l‘alcootest (au niveau de l‘embout buccal). Lorsque l‘alcootest n‘est pas connecté à l‘application installée sur un smartphone, alors il démarre automatiquement en mode autonome. Le capteur démarre la phase de réchauffement et la lumière bleue clignote jusqu‘à ce que cette phase soit terminée. Durant la phase de réchauffement, fixez un embout buccal sur l‘alcootest (pour des raisons d‘hygiène et des valeurs mesurées plausibles, un nouvel embout doit être utilisé pour chaque test). INDICATION : Si aucune limite de mesure n‘a encore été définie pour l‘alcootest via la « barre de limite », alors la lumière LED bleue, la lumière LED rouge et la lumière LED verte clignotent simultanément après le processus de réchauffement. Dans ce cas, vous devez connecter l‘alcootest au smartphone. Pour cela, ouvrez l‘application sur votre smartphone et définissez la « barre de limite » dans les réglages. INDICATION SUPPLÉMENTAIRE : Si vous utilisez l‘alcootest en mode autonome et ouvrez également l‘application sur votre smartphone, alors l‘alcootest passe automatiquement en mode application. Si vous utilisez l‘alcootest en mode autonome et que vous ouvrez l‘application durant la transmission de votre contrôle de l‘haleine, alors l‘alcootest passe en mode application après la fin du test. B) Lorsque la lumière bleue ne clignote plus et qu‘une lumière verte et une lumière rouge commencent à clignoter simultanément sur le côté de l‘alcootest, alors vous pouvez débuter le test d‘haleine (si vous attendez trop longtemps, alors la lumière bleue, la lumière rouge et la lumière verte commenceront à clignoter simultanément et l‘alcootest s‘éteindra automatiquement). Inspirez profondément et soufflez ensuite de manière constante, pendant 5 secondes et sans effectuer de pause, dans l‘embout buccal fixé sur l‘alcootest. Durant le test, seule la lumière bleue clignote encore jusqu‘à ce qu‘un test d‘haleine suffisant ait été capté. Le test d‘haleine ne dure que quelques secondes. Après cela, la lumière bleue disparaît. C) Lorsque le test d‘haleine est suffisant, alors la lumière rouge et la lumière verte situées sur le côté de l‘alcootest clignotent à tour de rôle. Peu après, le résultat mesuré est affiché sous forme d‘une lumière verte ou d‘une lumière rouge (selon la barre de limite mentionnée ci-dessus). INDICATION : Si la lumière bleue, la lumière verte et la lumière rouge clignotent simultanément, alors le test d‘haleine n‘était pas suffisant. D) Appuyez une fois sur le bouton de démarrage afin d‘effectuer un nouveau test d‘haleine (vous pouvez également démarrer un nouveau test ainsi après un test réussi). E) Afin d‘éteindre complètement l‘alcootest, maintenez le bouton de démarrage appuyé pendant 2 secondes. 33 INDICATION : L‘alcootest s‘éteint automatiquement lorsqu‘il n‘est pas utilisé pendant 2 minutes. INDICATION relative à l‘affichage de la lumière verte ou de la lumière rouge : Il existe au total 6 niveaux: 3 niveaux qui affichent une lumière verte après un test d‘haleine et 3 niveaux qui affichent une lumière rouge. L‘affichage dépend de la barre de limite définie (voir le graphique affiché en-dessous et la ligne rouge pour «set value»). Explication des niveaux des résultats de mesure Les valeurs numériques supérieures à LIMITE E MESURE doivent être ajoutées à la limite de mesure, les valeurs inférieures aux barres LIMITE E MESURE doivent être soustraites de la limite de mesure). Exemple : Si vous avez réglé 0,50‰ comme LIMITE DE MESURE dans l‘application et que votre échantillon d‘haleine actuel est 0,30‰, le témoin vert clignote toutes les 1 seconde. Indication relative au résultat mesuré Lorsque la limite de mesure a été définie à 0,20 pour mille via la «barre de limite», alors 2 niveaux «réussi» sont affichés, le niveau «réussi» (élevé) et le niveau «réussi» (moyen). Ces deux niveaux signifient qu‘il n‘y a pas d‘alcoolémie trop importante. Lorsque la «barre de limite» a été définie à 0,10 pour mille, alors seul 1 niveau «réussi» est affiché, le niveau «réussi» (élevé). Cela signifie que l‘alcoolémie est peu importante. 34 Indication relative à la sauvegarde de résultats mesurés L‘alcootest ACE AFM-5 peut sauvegarder jusqu‘à 30 résultats mesurés. Pour le 31ème test, le résultat mesuré le plus ancien est automatiquement effacé. Si l‘ACE AFM-5 est connecté au smartphone via Bluetooth, alors les résultats mesurés sauvegardés dans l‘alcootest sont transmis à l‘application. Dans le même temps, tous les résultats mesurés sauvegardés dans l‘alcootest sont automatiquement effacés. Les résultats mesurés importés dans l‘application peuvent être consultés via le bouton Données dans le menu de l‘application, puis visualisés dans le graphique de l‘application. Dans le graphique de l‘application, les résultats mesurés importés depuis l‘alcootest sont signalés par un «D». Recommandations d’ACE Instruments Utilisez un embout différent pour chaque personne faisant le test! ACE Instruments décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommage causé par l’utilisation d’un même embout par plusieurs personnes ou pour plusieurs tests. Utilisez toujours les embouts ACE Instruments emballés de façon séparée et hygiénique. À chaque test, l’appareil entre en contact avec des sécrétions humaines externes comme internes (transpiration, salive, sang, etc.). Utilisez des gants lorsque vous retirez l’embout employé pour un test, surtout si le test a été effectué par une personne que vous ne connaissez pas. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) propose, dans sa gamme de produits, des gants prévus à cet effet. Précisions importantes Si vous avez mangé, bu de l‘alcool ou fumé une cigarette, attendez au moins 15 minutes avant de commencer la mesure. Cette unité de test d‘alcool est un appareil sensible et de grande qualité. Afin de préserver la précision de mesure du capteur électrochimique, l‘appareil doit être utilisé régulièrement. En cas d‘inutilisation prolongée de l‘appareil, le capteur peut s‘assécher. Nous conseillons d‘utiliser l‘éthylotest au moins 2x par mois (même si vous n‘avez pas bu d‘alcool). Pour les valeurs en dessous de 0,10‰ (OU 0,01% BAC OU 0,05mg/L – selon le réglage), le résultat affiché sera 0,000‰. Cela s‘explique par le fait que pour un faible niveau d‘alcoolémie d‘autres substances peuvent être contenues dans l‘air expiré et influer sur le résultat du test. Des modifications sur le produit peuvent aboutir à une modification des échéances annoncées. Cela peut se produire sans avertissement préalable et sans adaptation du mode d‘emploi et ne constitue en rien un motif de réclamation, de retour ou de réduction du prix. Il est de la responsabilité de l‘utilisateur d‘identifier les divergences entre le mode d‘emploi et l‘utilisation effective et de réagir en conséquence. 35 Seule l‘utilisation des embouts originaux ACE Instruments garantit la précision du résultat garantit une hygiène parfaite à 100% vous assure le bénéfice de la garantie de l‘appareil Avertissement d‘ACE Instruments Même si, après une prise d‘alcool, l‘appareil affiche une alcoolémie dans la zone de « sécurité », cela ne constitue en rien une autorisation à conduire un véhicule ou à entamer toute autre activité incompatible avec les effets de l‘alcool. Calibrage ACE Instruments recommande le calibrage du capteur intégré à l‘appareil tous les 12 mois environ ou après 500 tests (en fonction de la date de survenue de ces événements). Le calibrage n‘est pas obligatoire, cependant la précision du capteur intégré à l‘unité d‘alcool test diminue progressivement en l‘absence de calibrage. Nous recommandons un envoi sous forme de colis, de sorte qu‘en cas de perte il soit possible de produire une preuve de dépôt ou de faire une demande de recherche. Les notes afférentes aux batteries L‘appareil que concerne le présent mode d‘emploi est livré avec 1 pile alcalines AAA. Ces piles ne sont pas rechargeables. Toute tentative pour les recharger peut entraîner des dommages matériels et personnels. L‘utilisation de piles rechargeables sur cet appareil n‘est également pas possible, sous peine d‘endommager l‘appareil. Une fois les piles déchargées, veuillez ne pas les jeter à la poubelle. Les piles usagées contiennent des substances toxiques qui peuvent nuire à l‘environnement et à la santé. Veuillez vous débarrasser des piles dans les endroits prévus à cet effet chez certains commerçants ou à la déchetterie de votre commune. Cette restitution est gratuite et obligatoire. Veuillez ne jeter les piles déchargées que dans les conteneurs prévus à cet effet et, dans le cas des piles au lithium, veuillez en coller les pôles. 36 Changement des piles Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à piles et remplacez les piles usagées par deux neuves. Pensez à respecter la polarité : le pôle moins des piles doit être en contact avec le ressort du réceptacle à piles. Puis refermez le couvercle du compartiment et encliquetez-le. Le recyclage des piles est un jeu d‘enfant. Le symbole « corbeille à papier » signifie que les piles ne doivent pas être jetées à la poubelle. Hij is niet aansprakelijk voor kosten of uitgaven voor schades die ontstaan uit het gebruik van de zich in dit document bevindende informatie. Wijzigingen in deze informatie zijn zonder voorafgaande aankondiging voorbehouden. Inleiding Bedankt voor de aankoop van onze alcoholtester ACE AFM-5. Dit toestel biedt u een meettolerantie van +/- 0,05 promille bij een referentiewaarde van 1,00 promille en 25°C omgevingstemperatuur. Om deze redenen mag dit toestel alleen worden gebruikt voor doeleinden vastgelegd in deze gebruiksaanwijzing. ACE AFM-5 is een gemakkelijk te bedienen alcoholmeetapparaat met een elektrochemische sensor. De alcoholtester is compatibel is met smartphones met een iOSen Android-systeem (niet te gebruiken met tablets). Voordat u de test uitvoert, moet de app ‚Alcofind‘ worden gedownload van de App Store (iOS) of Google Play Store (Android) en op de smartphone worden geïnstalleerd. Alle meetwaarden, die door dit alcoholtesttoestel worden gemeten, mogen alleen als indicatie worden beschouwd en zijn juridisch niet bindend. Voor elke ademtest moet een nieuw mondstuk worden gebruikt (om hygiënische redenen en om te foutieve meetgegevens te voorkomen die mogelijk door restalcohol uit een vorig gebruik worden geregistreerd). De ACE AFM-5 voldoet aan RICHTLIJN 2014/53/EU van het Europees Parlement en de Raad, gedetailleerde informatie en het certificaat (afgegeven in december 2017 door MiCOM Labs, Inc.: EU Notified Body Number 2280) vindt u in de artikelbeschrijving op www.alkomat.net onder „Documenten“. Leveromvang 1 Ademalcoholtester ACE AFM-5 met elektrochemische sensor 1 AAA-batterij (1,5 V, alkaline) 6 Mondstukken 1 Reiseetui 1 Snelstartgids (in het Duits en Engels) 1 Gebruiksaanwijzing (meertalig) Het apparaat meet de alcoholconcentratie in de uitgeademde lucht en berekent aan de hand hiervan het promillage in het bloed. De meetresultaten worden in een driecijferige promillewaarde met 2 cijfers na de komma weergegeven op uw smartphone wanneer u de alcoholtester samen met de app gebruikt. Ze zijn 1:1 interpreteerbaar (vb.: het display toont de waarde 0,36 = 0,36 promille). In de app ‚Alcofind‘ kan de meeteenheid worden omgezet in % BAC (USA) of in mg/l (UK). Als het apparaat moet worden gekalibreerd, stuur het dan naar een van de serviceadressen vermeld op www.alkomat.net. 41 42 Identificatie van elke component 3 1 4 2 I) Na een testresultaat van 1,00 promille of hoger moet de sensor langer tot rust komen. Wacht in dat geval ten minste drie minuten voor de volgende test. J) Voer geen tests uit in een zeer koude, zeer warme of slecht verluchte rokerige ruimte. K) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid zo dat er geen stof of vloeistoffen in het toestel kunnen dringen. L) Blaas niet te hard op het toestel. Dit kan de sensor beschadigen (vooral wanneer bij het blazen voor speeksel in het toestel terechtkomt). Voorbereidingen voor de test: 1. Leg 1 AAA-batterij in het batterijvak. Verwijder hiervoor voorzichtig het deksel van het batterijvak aan de achterkant van het apparaat en leg 1 AAA-batterij (alkaline, 1,5 V). Let op de polariteit van de batterij (+/-). 2. Steek een mondstuk in de sleuf aan de zijkant die bedoeld is voor de montage van een mondstuk. Zorg ervoor dat het mondstuk goed vastzit. Gebruik per testpersoon een nieuw mondstuk. 1. Mondstuk en Opening om het mondstuk aan te brengen 2. Startknop (op de achterkant van het apparat) 3. Luchtuitlaat (altijd dit deel gedeblokkeerd) 4. Klep batterijvak (op de achterkant van het apparat) Voor het meest nauwkeurige meetresultaat A) Wacht na de laatste slok alcohol minstens 15 minuten voor u de alcoholtest uitvoert. Eet, drink of rook niet tijdens deze wachttijd. B) Open de behuizing niet. C) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid niet in een koude, warme, vochtige of slecht verluchte ruimte. D) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid buiten het bereik van kinderen. E) Voer, wanneer het toestel lange tijd zonder gebruik werd bewaard, eerst drie “inlooptests” uit voor u de eigenlijke alcoholtest uitvoert. F) Laat de alcohol testeenheid niet vallen. G) Vervang de batterij wanneer de display moeilijk kan worden gelezen. Een lage batterijspanning kan eveneens voor gevolg hebben dat verkeerde metingen worden doorgevoerd. H) Voer geen test uit in een lawaaierige omgeving (lawaai stoort de sensor) of in een slecht verluchte ruimte. 43 3. Download de app ‚Alcofind‘ van de App Store (iOS) of Google Play Store (Android). Uw smartphone moet minstens uitgerust zijn met het besturingssysteem iOS 7 (Apple) of hoger of met OS 4.3 (Android) of hoger. Na het downloaden van de app moet u hem op uw smartphone openen en de gewenste taal alsook de meeteenheid instellen. Daarna klikt u op OK. U kunt de instellingen in de app op elk moment wijzigen. Testen met de smartphone-app (App-modus) A) Controleer voor de alcoholtest of de Bluetooth op uw smartphone is geactiveerd. Daarna opent u de ‚Alcofind‘-app op uw smartphone. B) Zet het ACE AFM-5 aan door 1 seconde op de startknop te drukken. Er verschijnt nu een blauwe, groene en rode led op de alcoholtester en het apparaat begint op te warmen. 44 INSTRUCTIE: Als u de app niet geopend hebt en er is geen bluetoothverbinding gemaakt tussen de alcoholtester en de smartphone, dan gaat het ACE AFM-5 in de opwarmingsfase automatisch over naar een modus waarin de alcoholtester zonder app kan werken. C) Wanneer u de alcoholtester gebruikt in combinatie met uw smartphone (en geactiveerde bluetooth), knippert er op het apparaat een blauwe lampje nadat u de startknop hebt ingedrukt. Dat betekent dat de alcoholtester via bluetooth met uw smartphone in verbinding staat. Wanneer u voor de eerste keer verbinding maakt, wordt er een pincode gevraagd. Deze luidt: 000000 en moet u in de app intypen. Als de verbinding gelukt is, dooft het blauwe lampje. Het groene en het rode lampje lichten nu op en op het display van uw smartphone verschijnt ‚START TEST‘. Nu kunt u met de test beginnen door in de app op ‚START TEST‘ te drukken of op de alcoholtester de startknop kort ingedrukt te houden. INSTRUCTIE: Indien de app het ACE AFM-5 niet herkent, verschijnt de vraag of u graag verbinding wilt maken met een andere alcoholtester of opnieuw wilt proberen (klik op ‚Cancel‘, wanneer u voor de laatste optie kiest). D) Selecteer een gebruiker. Elk testresultaat wordt per gebruiker opgeslagen (ofwel voor uzelf ofwel voor iemand anders). De testresultaten worden vervolgens grafisch weergegeven en zijn te raadplegen via een icoon dat zich op de onderste menubalk bevindt. E) In de app ziet u hoever de opwarmingsfase gevorderd is aan de hand van een cirkel. Zodra het cijfer 95 bereikt is, ademt u diep in en maakt u zich klaar voor de alcoholtest. F) Zodra op de app ‚Blazen‘ verschijnt, blaast u 5 seconden zonder onderbreking in het op het ACE AFM-5 gemonteerde mondstuk. Zodra op het display van de app het cijfer 100 bereikt wordt en de alcoholtester een kliksignaal geeft, is de test afgelopen. INSTRUCTIE: Wanneer de camerafunctie op uw smartphone is geactiveerd, maakt de camera automatisch een foto van de testpersoon zodra de test is afgelopen. G) Indien de blaasproef is gelukt, verschijnt op het display van de app ‚Analyse wordt gemaakt‘. INSTRUCTIE 1: Hebt u niet lang of goed genoeg geblazen, verschijnt er een foutmelding op het display. Druk in de app op ‚OK‘ om een nieuwe test uit te voeren. INSTRUCTIE 2: De tests die werden uitgevoerd zonder de app, krijgen in de grafiek de letter ‚D‘. H) Nadat de analyse is afgerond, verschijnt voor de met succes uitgevoerde test het berekende alcoholpercentage op het display van de app. U kunt aan het testresultaat een nota toevoegen die later in het grafiekoverzicht wordt getoond en als tekstbericht kan worden verzonden of op Facebook of Twitter kan worden gepost. 45 I) Tik in de app op ‚Nieuwe test‘ of ‚Resultaat‘ of druk op de startknop van de alcoholtester om een nieuwe test uit te voeren (zonder te switchen van gebruiker). Wanneer u een compleet nieuwe test wilt uitvoeren (en een andere gebruiker wilt instellen), drukt u in de app op de ‚Home‘-toets op de onderste balk van het display. J) Wanneer u geen nieuwe test wilt uitvoeren en het apparaat wilt uitzetten, drukt u 2 seconden op de startknop van de alcoholtester die hiermee wordt uitgeschakeld. INSTRUCTIE: De alcoholtester schakelt zichzelf automatisch uit wanneer hij 2 minuten niet wordt gebruikt. Wanneer u de app afsluit terwijl de smartphone nog verbonden is met de alcoholtester, knipperen tegelijkertijd het blauwe, groene en rode lampje. Druk op de startknop van de alcoholtester om hem te herstarten. Testen zonder de app (autonoom modus) INSTRUCTIE: Om de Standalone-modus te activeren, moet u eerst de app op uw smartphone oproepen en de alcoholtester activeren. Verbind daarna de alcoholtester via de app met de smartphone en stel (nadat de verbinding is gelukt) in de app de meetgrens met behulp van de ‚grensbalk‘ in. Zodra de meetgrens is geregistreerd, drukt u op de Home-toets in uw app. Zo slaat u de waarde op en wordt hij naar de alcoholtester gestuurd. Verklaring van het begrip ‚grensbalk‘: Hiermee bepaalt u vanaf welke waarde de alcoholtester rood moet oplichten en tot welke waarde hij een groen licht mag geven. Voorbeeld: de grensbalk werd vastgelegd op 0,5 promille; dan brandt er bij alle meetresultaten tot 0,49 promille op de alcoholtester een groen lampje en vanaf 0,5 promille een rood. INSTRUCTIE: Indien de batterij te weinig vermogen heeft of de omgevingstemperatuur is te hoog/laag, dan knipperen tegelijkertijd het blauwe, rode en groene lampje. Vervang de batterij of ga naar een plaats waar de omgevingstemperatuur tussen 5 en 40°C ligt. A) Zet het ACE AFM-5 aan door 1 seconde op de startknop te drukken. Op de alcoholtester (bij de opening van het mondstuk) beginnen nu een blauw, groen en rood ledlampje te branden. Wanneer de alcoholtester niet gekoppeld is aan de op een smartphone geïnstalleerde app, staat hij automatisch in de Standalone-modus. De sensor begint nu met de opwarmingsfase en het blauwe lampje knippert totdat deze fase is afgerond. Tijdens de opwarming plaatst u een mondstuk op de alcoholtester (om hygiënische redenen en om plausibele meetwaarden te bekomen, moet er voor elke test een nieuw mondstuk worden gebruikt). INSTRUCTIE: Wanneer er voor de alcoholtester met behulp van de ‚grensbalk‘ nog geen meetgrens werd vastgelegd, knipperen na de opwarmingsfase tegelijkertijd de blauwe, rode en groene leds. In dit geval moet u de alcoholtester koppelen aan een smartphone. Open hiervoor de app op uw smartphone en bepaal onder het instellingsmenu de waarde van de ‚grensbalk‘. 46 EXTRA INSTRUCTIE: Wanneer u de alcoholtester in de Standalone-modus gebruikt en daarnaast de app op uw smartphone opent, schakelt de alcoholtester automatisch over naar de App-modus. Wanneer het apparaat zich in de Standalone-modus bevindt en de app wordt tijdens het afnemen van een blaastest geopend, schakelt de alcoholtester na afloop van de test over naar de App-modus. B) Als het blauwe lampje niet meer knippert en in plaats daarvan een groen en rood lampje aan de zijkant van de alcoholtester tegelijkertijd beginnen te knipperen, kunt u met de ademtest starten (als u te lang wacht, beginnen het blauwe, rode en groene lampje tegelijkertijd te knipperen en schakelt de alcoholtester zichzelf automatisch uit). Adem diep in en blaas 5 seconden lang constant en zonder pauze uit in het mondstuk dat op de alcoholtester is gemonteerd. Tijdens de test knippert nu alleen nog het blauwe lampje en zodra er een blaastest met succes is afgerond, dooft ook deze led. De ademtest duurt slechts enkele seconden en als hij is afgerond, dooft het blauwe lampje. C) Indien de blaastest is gelukt, knipperen het rode en groene lampje aan de zijkant van de alcoholtester afwisselend en kort daarna wordt het meetresultaat weergegeven in de vorm van een groen of rood lampje (gebaseerd op de instelling van de grensbalk, zoals hierboven wordt beschreven). INSTRUCTIE: Indien het blauwe, groene en rode lampje tegelijkertijd knipperen, is de blaastest niet gelukt. D) Druk 1x op de startknop om een nieuwe blaastest te doen (dit moet u ook doen wanneer u een nieuwe test wilt uitvoeren na een geslaagde ademtest). E) Om de alcoholtester volledig uit te zetten, houdt u 2 seconden de startknop ingedrukt. INSTRUCTIE: De alcoholtester schakelt zichzelf automatisch uit wanneer hij 2 minuten niet wordt gebruikt. INSTRUCTIE betreffende het verschijnen van het groene of rode lampje: In totaal zijn er respectievelijk 6 en 3 niveaus: 6 die na een ademtest een groen licht geven en 3 niveaus die een rood licht geven. Welk lampje er oplicht, is afhankelijk van de waarde die u met de grensbalk hebt ingesteld (zie de hieronder afgebeelde grafiek en de rode lijn bij ‚Set value‘). Verklaring van het weergegeven meetresultaat De numerieke waarden boven MEET-LIMIET moeten bij de meetgrens worden opgeteld, de waarden onder MEET-LIMIET balken moeten van de meetgrens worden afgetrokken. Voorbeeld: Als u 0,50‰ als MEET-LIMIET in de app hebt ingesteld en uw huidige ademtest is 0,30‰, knippert het groene licht elke 1 seconde. Informatie over het meetresultaat Wanneer de meetgrens met behulp van de ‚grensbalk‘ op 0,20 promille werd ingesteld, worden 2 ‚groene‘ levels weergegeven: het niveau (hoog) en niveau (gemiddeld). Beide niveaus betekenen dat er nog een klein alcoholpromille in het bloed aanwezig is. Indien de ‚grensbalk‘ op 0,10 promille werd ingesteld, wordt er slechts 1 ‚groen‘ niveau weergegeven, namelijk het niveau (hoog). Dat betekent dat het promillage in het bloed weinig problemen stelt. Informatie over de opslag van meetresultaten De alcoholtester ACE AFM-5 slaat maximaal 30 meetresultaten op, waarbij bij de 31e test het oudste meetresultaat automatisch wordt gewist. Wanneer het apparaat ACE AFM-5 via bluetooth met de smartphone wordt verbonden, worden de in de alcoholtester opgeslagen meetresultaten naar de app gestuurd en tegelijkertijd worden alle op de alcoholtester 47 48 opgeslagen meetresultaten automatisch gewist. De meetresultaten die in de app zijn opgeslagen, kunt u via het App-menu en de bestandsknop oproepen en in de App-grafiek bekijken. In de App-grafiek worden de meetresultaten die afkomstig zijn van de alcoholtester aangegeven met de letter ‚D‘. Aanbevelingen van ACE Instruments Gebruik voor elke testpersoon een nieuw mondstuk! ACE Instruments erkent geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor mogelijke schade die is ontstaan door gebruik van hetzelfde mondstuk door meerdere personen in meerdere tests. Gebruik steeds een hygiënisch afzonderlijk verpakt mondstuk van ACE Instruments. Het testtoestel komt bij elke test in contact met menselijke sappen (zweet, speeksel, bloed, enz.). Gebruik handschoenen wanneer u mondstukken, die u voor de test gebruikt, wisselt, vooral wanneer het toestel wordt gebruikt om u vreemde personen te testen. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) heeft in haar assortiment geschikt handschoenen. Belangrijke richtlijnen Wanneer u iets hebt gegeten, alcohol hebt gebruikt of een sigaret hebt gerookt, moet u minstens 15 minuten wachten voor u de test uitvoert. Deze alcohol testeenheid is is een hoogwaardig en gevoelig meettoestel. Om de meetnauwkeurigheid van de elektrochemische sensorte vrijwaren, moet het toestel regelmatig worden gebruikt. Wanneer het toestel voor een langere periode niet wordt gebruikt, kan de sensor uitdrogen. We adviseren om de alcoholtester ten minste twee keer per maand te gebruiken om te testen op alcohol (ook wanneer u geen alcohol hebt gedronken). Bij meetwaarden lager dan 0,07‰ (OF 0,007% BAC OF 0,035mg/L – afhankelijk van de instelling) wordt het testresultaat aangegeven als 0,000‰. Dit gebeurt omdat bij deze geringe alcoholhoeveelheid andere substanties in de ingeademde lucht kunnen zitten die het resultaat van de ademtest kunnen beïnvloeden. Gebruik alleen de originele ACE Instruments mondstukken zo niet kan de nauwkeurigheid van de meetresultaten niet worden gewaarborgd deze resultaten kunnen alleen 100% worden gewaarborgd bij hygiënisch gebruik zo niet vervalt de garantieperiode Waarschuwing ACE Instruments Ook wanneer het toestel het alcoholgehalte als “veilig” aanduidt, mag dit niet als een vrijgeleide worden beschouwd om alcohol te drinken en achter het stuur te kruipen of een andere activiteit uit te voeren die niet mag worden uitgevoerd onder invloed van alcohol. 49 Kalibratie ACE Instruments adviseert om de sensor in het toestel om de twaalf maanden of na 500 tests opnieuw te laten kalibreren (afhankelijk welke van de twee voorwaarden eerst is bereikt). Deze kalibrering is niet verplicht, maar zonder kalibrering zal de nauwkeurigheid van de ingebouwde sensor automatisch verminderen. U kunt de toestel ter kalibrering opsturen naar een van de serviceadressen vermeld op www.alkomat.net. We adviseren dat u het toestel als pakket verzend, waardoor het pakket u zal worden teruggestuurd in het geval de geadresseerde niet kan worden gevonden. De batterij notities Het toestel waarop deze gebruiksaanwijzing betrekking heeft wordt geleverd met 1 AAA alkaline batterij. Deze batterije is niet oplaadbaar. De poging om deze batterije op te laden kan personen kwetsen en stoffelijke schade veroorzaken. Bovendien mogen in dit toestel geen oplaadbare batterijen worden gebruikt. Deze kunnen het toestel beschadigen. Als de batterije leeg is, mogen ze niet met het huishoudafval worden afgevoerd. Alkaline batterijen bevatten schadelijke stoffen die het milieu en de volksgezondheid kunnen schaden. Breng de batterijen binnen in de winkel of geef ze af in het gemeentelijk containerpark. Deze ophaling is verplicht en wettelijk voorgeschreven. Werp lege batterijen weg in de daartoe bestemde container en kleef de polen van lithiumbatterijen af. Vervangen van de batterijen Verwijder de klep van het batterijvak van het toestel en vervang de gebruikte batterijen door twee nieuwe. Let op de polariteit: de minpool van de batterij moet contact maken tegen het veertje van het batterijvak. Sluit vervolgens de klep van het batterijvak terug op de behuizing (tot u een klik hoort). Het recyclen van batterijen is de gemakkelijkste manier om te zorgen voor het milieu. Onderstaande pictogrammen geven aan dat oude batterijen en accu’s niet bij het huisvuil mogen worden geplaatst. Garantie en Aansprakelijkheid De ACE Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH (ACE Instruments) geeft voor het product, waarbij deze garantie- en aansprakelijkheidsverklaring is bijgesloten – in alle versies en aanduidingen - een garantie van twee jaar na aankoop op materiaal- en afwerkingsfouten; een garantie van één jaar op de sensor zonder componenten voor het nemen van 51 een monster. Niet onder de garantie vallen componenten die bij werkzaamheid onvermijdelijk vernietigd worden (bijv. zekeringen). De garantie geldt vanaf de datum van uitlevering of vanaf de datum van de eerste ingebruikname (hier geldt steeds het kortere tijdsbestek), wanneer dit in de meegeleverde documenten van het product van ACE Instruments niet anders vermeld is. Reparatie- of onderhoudswerkzaamheden door ongekwalificeerd personeel leiden net zo tot wegvallen van de garantie als niet vrijgegeven gebruiksmaterialen of reserveonderdelen. Il dispositivo è facile da usare e ha un sensore elettrochimico che misura la concentrazione di alcol nel respiro e calcola la concentrazione di alcol nel sangue. Questo dispositivo fornisce risultati di prova con una tolleranza di misurazione di +/0,05‰ (per mille = g/L) al livello di riferimento di 1,00‰ e 25°C temperatura ambiente. ACE AFM-5 è un dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia semplice da utilizzare, dotato di un sensore elettrochimico utilizzabile in combinazione con smartphone con sistema iOS e Android (non utilizzabile con tablet). Prima di eseguire il test è necessario scaricare e installare sullo smartphone l’app “Alcofind” dall’App Store (iOS) o Google Play (Android). K) Conservare l‘unità di alcol test in modo tale da evitare che penetrino polvere e liquidi. L) Non soffiare troppo forte nel boccaglio che è dannoso per Sensore (soprattutto quando molto di saliva penetrare l‘apparecchio). Preparazione per il test 1. Inserire 1 batteria AAA nel vano batterie. Rimuovere con attenzione il coperchio del vano batterie sul lato posteriore dell’apparecchio e inserire una batteria AAA (alcalina da 1,5 V). Prestare attenzione alla polarità della batteria (+/-). 2. Inserire un bocchino sull’apposita apertura laterale. Assicurarsi che il bocchino sia correttamente fissato. Durante questi 15 minuti non si deve mangiare, bere o fumare. B) Non aprire l‘alloggiamento. C) Non custodire l‘unità di alcol test in un luogo freddo o caldo o umido o male arieggiato. D) Conservare l‘unità di alcol test lontano dalla portata dei bambini. E) Dopo un lungo periodo di immagazzinaggio, effettuare tre test di prova prima di effettuare il test vero e proprio. Effettuare la prova del tasso alcolico. F) Non lasciare mai cadere l‘unità di alcol test. G) Sostituire le batterie se scatta l’avviso batteria. La ridotta capacità della batteria può determinare il fallimento del test. H) Non effettuare i test in luoghi rumorosi (le onde acustiche disturbano il sensore), esposti alle correnti d‘aria o non ventilati. I) Dopo un risultato del test pari o superiore all‘1,00 per mille, il sensore deve essere fatto riposare per un periodo di recupero. In questo caso attendere almeno tre minuti fino al test seguente. 57 3. Scaricare l’app “Alcofind” dall’App Store (iOS) o Google Play Store o (Android). Lo smartphone deve possedere un sistema operativo iOS 7 (Apple) o superiore, oppure OS 4.3 (Android) o superiore. A download avvenuto, aprire l’app sul proprio smartphone e selezionare la lingua e l’unità di misura desiderata, dopodiché selezionare OK. Le impostazioni potranno essere modificate poi in qualsiasi momento nell’app. Svolgimento del test con utilizzo dell’app per smartphone (modalità app) A) Prima di un alcool test, assicurarsi che il “Bluetooth” sia attivo sullo smartphone. Aprire quindi l’app “Alcofind” sul proprio smartphone. B) Accendere ACE AFM-5, tenendo premuto il pulsante di avvio per 1 secondo. Compare una luce LED blu, verde e rossa sul dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia e il processo di riscaldamento ha inizio. AVVERTENZA: Se l’app non è stata aperta e non è presente un collegamento Bluetooth tra dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia e smartphone, ACE AFM-5 passa nella fase di riscaldamento in automatico ad una modalità in cui è possibile utilizzare il dispositivo senza app. 58 C) Se il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia (con Bluetooth attivato) viene utilizzato insieme con il proprio smartphone, il pulsante di avvio si illumina poi di blu dopo essere stato premuto. Questo indica che il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia è collegato allo smartphone tramite Bluetooth. Al primo tentativo di collegamento verrà richiesto un codice PIN, corrispondente a “000000” (digitarlo nell’app). Se il collegamento è andato a buon fine, la luce blu scompare, mentre la luce verde e rossa iniziano a lampeggiare e sul display dello smartphone compare la scritta “START TEST”. Ora è possibile iniziare il test, toccando “START TEST” nell’app o premendo brevemente il pulsante di avvio del dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia. AVVERTENZA: Se l’app non riconosce ACE AFM-5 una domanda chiederà se si desidera collegare un altro dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia o se si desidera fare un ulteriore tentativo di collegamento (per l’ultima scelta fare clic su “Cancel”). D) Selezionare un utente. Per ciascun utente verrà salvato un risultato del test (sia personale che relativo ad altri). I risultati del test verranno infine rappresentati in una grafica, la quale può essere richiamata tramite un’icona sul bordo inferiore del menu. E) Nell’app è possibile visualizzare l’avanzamento della fase di riscaldamento sotto forma di elemento circolare. Non appena l’avanzamento ha raggiunto la cifra 95%, inspirare profondamente e prepararsi per l’alcool test. F) Non appena viene visualizzato “Soffiare” nell’app, soffiare per 5 secondi in maniera costante e senza interruzione nel bocchino applicato su ACE AFM-5. Non appena l’app mostra il numero 100 e il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia emette un clic, il test è concluso. AVVERTENZA: Se la modalità fotocamera è attiva sullo smartphone, la fotocamera scatterà automaticamente un’immagine della persona sottoposta al test al termine dello stesso. G) Se il campione si è rivelato sufficiente, l’app indicherà “Analisi in corso” sul display. AVVERTENZA 1: Se il campione si è rivelato insufficiente, l’app indicherà una notifica di errore sul display. Premere “OK” nell’app per avviare un nuovo test. AVVERTENZA 2: I test eseguiti senza aiuto dell’app vengono indicati nella grafica con la lettera „D“. H) Dopo il processo di analisi viene visualizzato sul display dell’app il livello di alcool rilevato durante il test svolto precedentemente. A questo risultato di test è possibile aggiungere un promemoria che verrà visualizzato successivamente nella panoramica relativa alla grafica e inviato inoltre come messaggio di testo oppure pubblicato su Facebook o Twitter. I) Nell’app toccare su “Nuovo test“ o “Risultato” o premere sul pulsante di avvio del dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia per eseguire un altro test (senza dover selezionare 59 un utente). Se si desidera svolgere un nuovo test (selezionando un altro utente), premere il pulsante “Home” nell’app sul bordo inferiore del display dell’app. J) Se non si desidera eseguire altri test e si vuole spegnere il dispositivo, tenere premuto per 2 secondi il pulsante di avvio sul dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia, che infine si spegnerà. AVVERTENZA: Il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia si spegne automaticamente se non viene utilizzato per oltre 2 minuti. Chiudendo l’app, se lo smartphone è ancora collegato con il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia, la luce rossa, verde e blu lampeggeranno contemporaneamente. Premere il pulsante di accensione sul dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia per riavviarlo. Svolgimento del test senza utilizzo dell’app (modalità autonoma) AVVERTENZA: Per avviare la modalità Stand-alone, richiamare innanzitutto l’app dal proprio smartphone e accendere il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia. Collegare poi il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia tramite app con lo smartphone e definire (a collegamento avvenuto) i limiti di misurazione utilizzando l’apposita barra nell’app. Una volta registrato il limite di misurazione, premere sul pulsante Home dell’app, in modo tale da salvare il valore e trasmetterlo al dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia. Spiegazione della ”Barra del limite”: In questo modo si definisce a partire da quale valore il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia mostri una luce rossa e fino a quale valore mostri una luce verde. Es.: La barra del limite è stata fissata a 0,5 grammi al litro: così per tutti i risultati di misurazione fino a 0,49 grammi al litro verrà visualizzato sul dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia una luce verde e, a partire da 0,5 grammi al litro, verrà visualizzata una luce rossa. AVVERTENZA: Se la carica della batteria è esigua o se la temperatura ambiente è troppo alta/bassa, la luce blu, rossa e verde lampeggiano contemporaneamente. Sostituire la batteria o spostarsi in un punto in cui la temperatura ambiente è compresa tra 5 e 40°C. A) Accendere ACE AFM-5, tenendo premuto il pulsante di avvio per 1 secondo. Sul dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia (all’entrata del bocchino) inizia ad illuminarsi un LED blu, verde e rosso. Se il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia non è collegato ad un’app installata su smartphone, viene avviata in automatico la modalità Standalone. Il sensore avvia la fase di riscaldamento e la luce blu lampeggia fino al termine della fase stessa. Durante la fase di riscaldamento inserire un bocchino nel dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia (per motivi di igiene e per valori di misurazione plausibile è necessario utilizzare un nuovo bocchino per ciascun test). 60 AVVERTENZA: Se per il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia con “Barra limite” non è stato ancora definito alcun limite di misurazione, successivamente al processo di riscaldamento i LED blu, rosso e verde lampeggiano contemporaneamente. In questo caso è necessario collegare il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia con lo smartphone. Aprire quindi l’app sul proprio smartphone e definire la “Barra limite” alla voce impostazioni. AVVERTENZA EXTRA: Se il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia viene utilizzato in modalità Stand-alone e viene intanto aperta l’app sullo smartphone, il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia passa automaticamente in modalità app. Se si è in modalità Stand-alone e viene intanto aperta l’app durante l’emissione del campione, il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia passa automaticamente in modalità app al termine del test. B) Se la luce blu non lampeggia più e al suo posto iniziano a lampeggiare contemporaneamente una luce rossa e una verde a lato del dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia, è possibile avviare il test del respiro (se si attende troppo a lungo la luce verde, rossa e blu iniziano a lampeggiare il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia si spegne automaticamente). Inspirare profondamente e soffiare per 5 secondi in maniera costante e senza pause nel bocchino inserito nel dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia. Durante il test solo la luce blu lampeggia e ciò fino a quando il campione è stato emesso in maniera sufficiente. Il test del respiro dura pochi secondi e al termine la luce blu scompare. C) Se il campione è sufficiente, la luce verde e rossa lampeggiano in maniera alternata a lato del dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia e subito dopo il risultato della misurazione viene visualizzato sotto forma di una luce verde o rossa (per questo viene utilizzata la barra limite precedentemente menzionata). AVVERTENZA: Se la luce blu, verde e rossa lampeggiano contemporaneamente, il campione non è sufficiente. D) Premere 1 volta il pulsante di avvio per poter eseguire un nuovo test del respiro (in questo modo è possibile avviare un nuovo test anche dopo un test del respiro avvenuto correttamente). E) Per spegnere completamente il dispositivo di misurazione del tasso di alcolemia, tenere premuto per 2 secondi il pulsante di avvio. AVVERTENZA: Il dispositivo per la misurazione del tasso di alcolemia si spegne automaticamente se non viene utilizzato per oltre 2 minuti. AVVERTENZA in caso di visualizzazione di luce verde o rossa: Esistono in tutto 6 livelli; 3 livelli che visualizzano una luce verde successivamente ad un test del respiro, e 3 livelli che invece visualizzano una luce rossa. La visualizzazione dipende dalla barra limite fissata (vedere la grafica indicata di seguito e la linea rossa di “set value”). 61 Spiegazione della visualizzazione dei risultati di misurazione I valori numerici sopra LIMITE DEL COLTELLO devono essere aggiunti al limite di misura, i valori sotto le barre LIMITE EL COLTELLO devono essere sottratti dal limite di misura. Es.: Se nell’app è stato impostato un limite di misurazione per la barra limite di 0,5 grammi al litro e la prova del respiro attuale porta un risultato di 0,3 grammi al litro, il LED verde lampeggerà ad intervalli di 1 secondo. Avvertenza per il risultato del test Se il limite di misurazione è stato impostato con la “Barra limite” a 0,20‰, verranno visualizzati 2 livelli di superamento, ovvero il livello di superamento (alto) e il livello di superamento (medio). Entrambi i livelli indicano che non si è in presenza di un livello alcolemico di livello critico. Se la “Barra limite” è stata impostata a 0,10‰, verrà visualizzato solo 1 livello di superamento, ovvero il livello di superamento (alto). Questo indica che il livello alcolemico è di bassa criticità. 62 Avvertenza per il salvataggio dei risultati di misurazione Il dispositivo di misurazione del tasso di alcolemia ACE AFM-5 salva fino a 30 risultati di misurazione, in cui il trentunesimo test, essendo il test più obsoleto, viene cancellato automaticamente. Se ACE AFM-5 viene collegato allo smartphone tramite Bluetooth, i risultati salvati nel dispositivo di misurazione del tasso di alcolemia verranno inviati all’app e contemporaneamente tutti i risultati di misurazione salvati nel dispositivo di misurazione del tasso di alcolemia verranno cancellati automaticamente. I risultati di misurazione trasferiti nell’app possono essere richiamati tramite pulsante dati nel menu dell‘app ed essere visualizzati nella grafica dell’app. I risultati di misurazione trasferiti dal dispositivo di misurazione del tasso di alcolemia verranno contrassegnati con una “D” nella grafica dell’app. ACE Instruments consiglia Utilizzate un bocchino nuovo per ogni persona da controllare! ACE Instruments non si assume nessuna responsabilità per alcun danno causato dall’utilizzo di un bocchino da parte di più persone e per più test. Utilizzate sempre i bocchini ACE Instruments igienici e in confezione singola. Questa unità alcol test per ogni test entra in contatto internamente ed esternamente con secreti umani (sudore, saliva, sangue ecc.). Utilizzate i guanti quando togliete i bocchini utilizzati per un test dal misuratore, soprattutto se il test è stato eseguito da persone estranee. L’ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) mette a disposizione nella sua gamma di prodotti dei guanti appositi. Avvertenze importanti Se avete mangiato qualcosa, bevuto dell‘alcol oppure fumato una sigaretta aspettate almeno 15 minuti prima di procedere alla misurazione. Questa unità alcol test è un misuratore pregiato e sensibile. Onde mantenere la precisione di misurazione del sensore elettrochimico, l‘apparecchio va utilizzato regolarmente. Se l‘apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un lungo periodo il sensore potrebbe seccarsi. Consigliamo di utilizzare l‘etilometro eseguendo test di tasso alcolemico di almeno 2 volte al mese (anche se non avete bevuto dell‘alcol). In caso risultassero valori inferiori allo 0,100‰ (OPPURE 0,010% BAC OPPURE 0,050mg/L – a seconda dell‘impostazione) il risultato del test viene indicato con 0,000‰. Ciò avviene perché in caso di un basso livello d‘alcol possono essere presenti altre sostanze nell‘aria espirata, le quali possono influenzare il risultato della prova. A seguito di modifiche del prodotto le sequenze operative possono subire dei cambiamenti. Ciò può accadere senza comunicazione preliminare e con adeguamento delle istruzioni per l‘uso e non costituisce motivo di reclamo, restituzione o riduzione del prezzo. L‘utente, è tenuto a riconoscere le 63 differenze tra le istruzioni per l‘uso e l‘uso effettivo e a reagire di conseguenza. La calibratura non deve essere impellente, tuttavia la precisione II cala senza la calibratura. L´apparecchio può essere inviato per la calibratura all´indirizzo dal sito www.alkomat.net. Si consiglia di inviare l´apparecchio come pacco postale così in caso di irreperibilità della ricevuta di consegna per esempio, sia possibile l´indagine dell´ordine. Note alle batterie Il dispositivo a cui si riferiscono queste istruzioni per l‘uso contiene un (1) batterie AAA (1,5V, Alcalini). Queste batterie non devono essere ricaricate. Se si tenta di ricaricarle si possono causare danni agli oggetti e lesioni alle persone. Non è consentito neppure l‘uso di batterie ricaricabili, poiché queste potrebbero danneggiare il dispositivo stesso. Le batterie scariche non possono essere gettate nei rifiuti domestici. Le batterie vecchie possono contenere sostanze inquinanti che possono nuocere all‘ambiente e alla salute. Si prega di smaltire le batterie nelle rivendite specializzate o nei centri di riciclaggio dei Comuni. La restituzione è gratuita e prescritta dalla legge. Si prega di gettare solo le batterie scariche negli appositi contenitori e, in caso di batterie al litio, di scollegare i poli. Cambio batteria Per cambiare le batterie estrarre il coperchio del vano batterie e sostituire le batterie vecchie con delle batterie nuove. Rispettare la polarità: i poli negativi delle batterie devono essere a contatto con le molle all‘interno del vano. Quindi chiudere con cautela il coperchio del vano batterie. Tutte le batterie vengono riciclate. Possono essere riciclate materie prime importanti come ferro, zinco o nichel: non lasciate che queste vadano perse. Il riciclaggio delle batterie è il modo più facile per rispettare l‘ambiente. 64 Il simbolo del cassonetto significa che: le batterie non possono essere gettate nei rifiuti domestici. Este aparato tiene una tolerancia de medición de +/- 0.05‰ (por mil) con el valor de referencia de 1.00 por mil y 25°C temperatura ambiente. En la aplicación «Alcofind» se puede cambiar la unidad de medición a % BAC (EE. UU.) o mg/l (Reino Unido). El aparato sólo puede ser usado conforme a las instrucciones del manual de instrucciones. El alcoholímetro ACE AFM-5 es un medidor de manejo sencillo con sensor electroquímico que se puede utilizar junto con teléfonos inteligentes con sistema iOS o Android (no es compatible con tabletas). Antes de realizar una prueba de alcoholemia, es necesario descargar la aplicación «Alcofind» desde la App Store (iOS) o Google Play (Android) e instalarla en el dispositivo móvil. El aparato sólo puede ser usado conforme a las instrucciones del manual de instrucciones. Todos los valores de medición indicados por este aparato de pruebas de alcohol sirven siempre sólo como punto de referencia y no son legalmente vinculantes. En cada test de respiración se debe usar una boquilla nueva (por razones higiénicas y para evitar mediciones defectuosas que pueden resultar por posibles restos de alcohol en una boquilla ya utilizada). El ACE AFM-5 cumple con la DIRECTIVA ROJA 2014/53/UE del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, información detallada y el certificado (emitido en diciembre de 2017 de MiCOM Labs, Inc: EU Notified Body Number 2280) se puede encontrar en la descripción del artículo en www.alkomat.net bajo “Documents”. Si se utiliza el alcoholímetro junto con la aplicación, los resultados obtenidos se muestran como un valor de 3 cifras con 2 decimales y se puede interpretar 1:1 (por ejemplo, la pantalla muestra el valor 0.36 = 0.36 por mil). Pueden enviar el aparato para calibrar a la dirección indicada en www.alkomat.net). 69 70 Descripción de las diferentes partes del aparato 3 1 4 2 J) No realice ninguna prueba en un entorno muy frío, muy caliente, mal ventilado o con humo. K) Guarde la unidad de prueba de alcohol de forma que no le entre polvo ni líquidos. L) No sople con demasiada fuerza sobre el aparato, pues esto puede dañar el sensor (ante todo, si al soplar llega mucha saliva al aparato). Preparación para la prueba 1. Coloque una pila AAA en el compartimento correspondiente. Para ello, retire con cuidado la tapa del compartimento en la parte posterior del medidor e introduzca una pila AAA (alcalina, 1.5 V). Al hacerlo, tenga en cuenta la polaridad (+/-). 2. Coloque una boquilla en la abertura lateral prevista para ello. Asegúrese de que la boquilla queda bien sujeta. No comer, beber ni fumar durante este tiempo. B) No abrir la carcasa. C) No guardar la unidad de prueba de alcohol en un lugar frío, caliente, húmedo o mal ventilado. D) Mantenga la unidad de prueba de alcohol fuera del alcance de los niños. E) Después estar guardado mucho tiempo, haga tres pruebas antes de efectuar la verdadera prueba de alcohol. F) No deje caer la unidad de prueba de alcohol. G) Reemplazar la pila si el rendimiento es bajo. Una pila baja produce resultados de prueba falsos. H) No realice ninguna prueba si hay ruido fuerte (la ondas sonoras afectan al sensor), o con corrientes de aire o en lugares mal ventilados. I) Después de un resultado de prueba de 1.00 por mil o superior el sensor necesita más tiempo de recuperación. Espere en este caso al menos tres minutos hasta la prueba siguiente. 71 3. Descargue la aplicación «Alcofind» desde la App Store (iOS) o Google Play (Android). Su móvil debe tener al menos un sistema operativo iOS 7 (Apple) o superior, o bien un sistema OS 4.3 (Android) o superior. Una vez descargada la aplicación, ábrala, seleccione el idioma deseado y la unidad de medición, y después seleccione Aceptar. Los ajustes se pueden modificar posteriormente tantas veces como se desee. Realización de la prueba utilizando la aplicación para móvil (modo con aplicación) A) Antes de llevar a cabo la prueba, asegúrese de que ha activado la señal Bluetooth de su teléfono móvil. A continuación, abra la aplicación «Alcofind». B) Encienda el alcoholímetro ACE AFM-5 pulsando durante 1 segundo el botón de inicio. Al hacerlo, se ilumina un indicador LED azul, verde y rojo en el alcoholímetro y comienza la fase de preparación. AVISO: Si no tiene abierta la aplicación ni se ha establecido la conexión por Bluetooth entre el teléfono y el alcoholímetro, el ACE AFM-5 cambia automáticamente durante la fase de preparación a un modo que permite su uso sin aplicación. 72 C) Si utiliza el alcoholímetro (con el Bluetooth activado) en combinación con su teléfono móvil, al pulsar el botón de inicio parpadea una luz azul. Esto quiere decir que el alcoholímetro se está conectando por Bluetooth con el teléfono móvil. Para establecer la conexión por primera vez, introduzca el código PIN «000000» en la aplicación. Si la conexión se establece correctamente, el indicador azul se apaga, el verde y el rojo se iluminan, y en la pantalla del móvil aparece el mensaje «EMPEZAR PRUEBA». En ese momento puede comenzar la prueba tocando «EMPEZAR PRUEBA» o pulsando brevemente el botón de inicio del alcoholímetro. AVISO: Si la aplicación no reconoce el alcoholímetro ACE AFM5, aparecerá un mensaje para que conecte otro alcoholímetro o vuelva a intentar establecer la conexión (para seleccionar esta última opción, elija «Cancelar»). D) Seleccione un usuario. Los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas se almacenan en el perfil de cada usuario (usted u otra persona). A continuación, los resultados se muestran en un gráfico al que se puede acceder mediante un icono situado en la barra inferior del menú. E) En la aplicación se muestra el avance de la fase de preparación en forma de círculo. En cuanto se alcance el valor 95, inspire profundamente y prepárese para la prueba. F) Cuando aparezca el mensaje «Sople» en la aplicación, espire de manera constante e ininterrumpida durante 5 segundos en la boquilla del alcoholímetro ACE AFM-5. Al terminar la prueba, aparece la cifra 100 en la pantalla de la aplicación y suena un clic en el alcoholímetro. AVISO: Si tiene activada la cámara del móvil, esta tomará automáticamente una foto de la persona que esté realizando la prueba nada más concluir esta. G) Si la prueba se realiza correctamente, aparece el mensaje «Analizando...» en la pantalla de la aplicación. AVISO 1: Si la prueba no se realiza correctamente, aparece un mensaje de error en la pantalla de la aplicación. Seleccione «Aceptar» para empezar una nueva prueba. AVISO 2: Las pruebas realizadas sin utilizar la aplicación aparecen representadas en el gráfico con la letra «D». H) Tras el análisis, se muestra el nivel de alcohol obtenido durante la prueba en la pantalla de la aplicación. Puede añadir una nota al resultado que se mostrará posteriormente en el gráfico y que además puede enviarse como mensaje de texto o publicarse en Facebook o Twitter. I) Seleccione en la aplicación «Nueva prueba» o «Resultado» o pulse el botón de inicio del alcoholímetro para llevar a cabo otra prueba (sin tener que seleccionar un usuario). Si desea realizar una prueba con otro usuario, seleccione la tecla «Inicio» que aparece en la parte inferior de la pantalla de la aplicación. J) Si no quiere realizar más pruebas, apague el alcoholímetro pulsando durante 2 segundos el botón de inicio. 73 AVISO: El alcoholímetro se apaga automáticamente si no se utiliza durante 2 minutos. Si cierra la aplicación mientras el alcoholímetro está conectado con el móvil, los indicadores azul, verde y rojo parpadean simultáneamente. Pulse el botón de inicio del alcoholímetro para volver a empezar. Realización de la prueba sin utilizar la aplicación para móvil (modo sin conexión) AVISO: Para activar el modo sin conexión, abra en primer lugar la aplicación en su teléfono móvil y encienda el alcoholímetro. Conecte el alcoholímetro con el móvil a través de la aplicación y, una vez establecida la conexión, fije el límite de medición. Una vez fijado, seleccione el botón Inicio de la aplicación para que se guarde el valor y se transmita al alcoholímetro. Así funciona el límite de medición: Este límite le permite establecer a partir de qué valor se ilumina un indicador rojo en el alcoholímetro y hasta qué valor se muestra un indicador verde. Por ej.: Si el límite se ha establecido en 0.50 per mill, el alcoholímetro muestra una luz verde cuando registra menos de 0.49 y una luz roja cuando registra más de 0.5. AVISO: Si la batería se está agotando o la temperatura ambiente es demasiado alta o baja, los indicadores azul, rojo y verde parpadean simultáneamente. Cambie la pila o sitúese en un lugar donde la temperatura ambiente esté entre los 5 y los 40 ºC. A) Encienda el alcoholímetro ACE AFM-5 pulsando durante 1 segundo el botón de inicio. En el alcoholímetro (en la zona de la boquilla) se ilumina un indicador LED azul, verde y rojo. Si el alcoholímetro no está conectado con la aplicación del teléfono móvil, se activa automáticamente el modo sin conexión. El sensor comienza la fase de preparación y el indicador azul parpadea hasta que está listo. Durante la fase de preparación, coloque una boquilla en el alcoholímetro (por motivos de higiene y para garantizar que se obtienen resultados fiables, utilice una boquilla nueva en cada prueba). AVISO: Si no ha definido un valor límite de medición para el alcoholímetro, tras la fase de preparación los indicadores azul, rojo y verde parpadean simultáneamente. En ese caso, debe conectar el alcoholímetro al teléfono. Para ello, abra la aplicación y vaya a los ajustes para establecer el límite de medición. AVISO ADICIONAL: Si abre la aplicación en su teléfono mientras está utilizando el modo sin conexión, el alcoholímetro cambiará automáticamente al modo con aplicación. Si está en modo sin conexión y abre la aplicación en su teléfono mientras está realizando una prueba, el alcoholímetro cambiará automáticamente al modo con aplicación una vez terminada la prueba. 74 B) Cuando la luz azul deje de parpadear y en su lugar empiecen a parpadear simultáneamente el indicador rojo y verde en el lateral del alcoholímetro, puede comenzar la prueba de alcoholemia (tenga en cuenta que, si espera demasiado, los tres indicadores empezarán a parpadear a la vez y el alcoholímetro se apagará automáticamente). Inspire profundamente y después espire durante 5 segundos de forma constante e ininterrumpida en la boquilla del alcoholímetro. Durante la prueba parpadea únicamente el indicador azul, que se apaga una vez que se ha podido realizar la medición. La prueba dura solo unos segundos y, al terminar, se apaga el indicador azul. C) Si el aire espirado ha sido suficiente para obtener un resultado, los indicadores rojo y verde empiezan a parpadear alternativamente en el lateral del alcoholímetro y, poco después, se muestra el resultado por medio del indicador verde o rojo (teniendo en cuenta el valor límite fijado). AVISO: Si los tres indicadores parpadean a la vez, el aire espirado no ha sido suficiente para calcular el resultado. D) En ese caso, pulse el botón de inicio para realizar otra prueba (al igual que haría para realizar otra prueba tras obtener un resultado). E) Para apagar el alcoholímetro, pulse durante 2 segundos el botón de inicio. AVISO: El alcoholímetro se apaga automáticamente si no se utiliza durante 2 minutos. AVISO sobre los indicadores verde y rojo: Hay un total de 6 niveles: 3 niveles que muestran una luz verde tras la prueba y otros 3 que muestran una luz roja. El indicador depende del valor límite de medición fijado (ver gráfico en la parte inferior y línea roja en «valor fijado»). Explicación de los niveles de los resultados de medición Los valores numéricos por encima de LÍMITE DE CUCHILLA deben sumarse al límite de medición, los valores por debajo de las barras de LÍMITE DE CUCHILLA deben restarse del límite de medición. Ejemplo: Si ha establecido 0.50‰ como el LÍMITE DE CUCHILLA en la aplicación y su muestra de aliento actual es 0.30‰, la luz verde parpadeará cada 1 segundo. Alcoholemia reducida (alto) El indicador LED verde se ilumina de forma continua. -0.10‰ -0.20‰ Menos que -0.20‰ Aviso visual en la pantalla *El límite preestablecido es de 0.50 por mil. Aviso sobre el resultado de la prueba Si el límite de medición se ha fijado en 0.20‰, se muestran 2 niveles, el nivel (alto) y el nivel (medio). Ambos implican que el nivel de alcoholemia aún no es demasiado preocupante. Si el límite de medición se ha fijado en 0.10‰, solo se muestra 1 nivel, el nivel (alto), lo que quiere decir que el nivel de alcoholemia es poco preocupante. Aviso sobre el almacenamiento de los resultados El alcoholímetro ACE AFM-5 guarda hasta 30 resultados. Al almacenar el 31º, se borra automáticamente el resultado más antiguo. Si el alcoholímetro ACE AFM-5 se conecta con el teléfono móvil a través del Bluetooth, los resultados de las pruebas se envían a la aplicación y todos los resultados 75 76 almacenados en el alcoholímetro se borran automáticamente. Los resultados guardados en la aplicación se muestran representados en el gráfico y se accede a ellos seleccionando el botón de datos del menú. Las pruebas realizadas sin utilizar la aplicación aparecen representadas en el gráfico con la letra «D». ACE Instruments recomienda ¡Utilice siempre una boquilla nueva para cada persona! ACE Instruments no asume ninguna responsabilidad por cualquier daño causado por el uso de una boquilla para varias personas. Utilice siempre la boquilla ACE Instruments higiénica y envasada individualmente. En cada prueba con el aparato de pruebas entra en contacto excreciones humanas (sudor, saliva, sangre, etc.). Utilice guantes para quitar una boquilla usada, especialmente si se ha usado con personas extrañas. ACE Technik (www.acetechnik.de) incluye guantes apropiados en su surtido. Advertencia importante Si ha comido algo, ha bebido alcohol o ha fumado un cigarrillo, debe esperar al menos 15 minutos antes de empezar con la medición. Esta unidad de prueba de alcohol es un medidor de alta calidad y sensible. Para mantener la precisión del sensor sensor electroquímico, el aparato debe ser utilizado regularmente. Si el aparato no se utilizado durante un período de tiempo largo, el sensor puede secarse. Recomendamos realizar al menos 2 pruebas de alcohol (incluso si no se ha bebido alcohol). Esto sucede porque en niveles muy bajos de alcohol puede haber otras sustancias en el aire aspirado que influyen en el resultado de la prueba. Las modificaciones del producto pueden cambiar el funcionamiento descrito. Esto puede realizarse sin previo aviso y la adaptación de las instrucciones no es ninguna razón para realizar reclamaciones, devoluciones o reducción del precio. Es responsabilidad del usuario reconocer y reaccionar a las divergencias entre el manual de instrucciones y el funcionamiento real. Utilice solamente boquillas originales ACE Instruments Asegúrese de la precisión de los resultados Garantice el 100% de seguridad de higiene Asegure la garantía completa del aparato 77 ACE Instruments avisa Incluso si el aparato indica el nivel “seguro”, después de beber alcohol no hay garantía para conducir un vehículo u otra actividad que no se debe realizar bajo la influencia del alcohol. Calibración ACE Instruments recomienda la calibración del sensor del aparato después de 500 pruebas o aproximadamente cada 12 meses (lo que ocurra primero). La calibración no debe necesariamente realizarse antes, aunque la exactitud del sensor integrado decrece continuamente. Notas para las baterías El aparato al que se refiere este manual de instrucciones contiene una (1) pila alcalinas AAA. Esta pila no es adecuadas para ser recargadas. El intento de recarga puede causar daños a personas y cosas. No se pueden emplear pilas recargables en el aparato, puesto que pueden dañar el aparato. Si la pila está vacías no se pueden tirar con la basura doméstica. La pilas usada contiene contaminantes que pueden dañar el medio ambiente y la salud. La pila se debe entregar en el comercio o en los puntos de reciclaje del municipio. La devolución es gratuita y legalmente obligatoria. Cambio de las pilas Quite la tapa del compartimento de pilas y sustituya las pilas gastadas por dos nuevas.
