un emploi ménager normal et non à un emploi

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
• L’appareil doit uniquement être utilisé
conformément au mode d’emploi ! Tout autre usage
est interdit !
Aucune responsabilité ne sera acceptée et la
garantie sera invalidée en cas de dommages dus à
une mauvaise utilisation, à un mauvais usage et au
non-respect des prescriptions de sécurité !
• La maison ne répond pas des dommages liés au
gel occasionnés par une puissance de chauffage
trop faible pour la taille de la pièce, une mauvaise
isolation thermique de la pièce, une mauvaise
utilisation ou en cas de force majeure (par ex.
panne de courant).
• Ne brancher les appareils que sur le secteur,
conformément à la plaquette signalétique !
• Ne jamais toucher les pièces se trouvant sous
tension ! Danger de mort !
• Ne jamais commander l’appareil avec des mains
mouillées ! Danger de mort !
• Placer l’appareil de sorte que les personnes se
tenant dans une baignoire, une douche ou une
bassine contenant de l’eau ne puissent pas toucher
les éléments de commande.
• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans des pièces avec
baignoire, douche ou piscine, ou à proximité de
lavabos ou raccordements d’eau.
• Ne pas soumettre l’appareil à la pluie ou autres
sources d’humidité ! L’appareil n’est pas compatible
avec un usage à l’extérieur. L’appareil doit
exclusivement être installé à l’intérieur !
• Ne jamais mettre en service l’appareil si celui-ci ou
le câble d’alimentation sont endommagés. Danger :
risque de blessures !
• Vérifier régulièrement que le cordon d’alimentation
n’est pas endommagé !
• Si le cordon d’alimentation présente des
dommages ou si l’appareil est tellement
endommagé que les composants électriques sont
découverts, le déconnecter immédiatement du
réseau et s’adresser au revendeur.
• Des réparations non conformes peuvent conduire
à des dangers considérables pour l’utilisateur !
• Les réparations et interventions sur l’appareil ne
sont permises que par du personnel spécialisé
agréé.
• Ne pas entreposer ou utiliser de matériaux ou
d’aérosols facilement inflammables à proximité de
l’appareil en service. Risque d’incendie !
• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans une atmosphère
facilement inflammable (par ex. à proximité de gaz
inflammables ou de bombes aérosol). Risque
d’explosion et d’incendie !
• Ne pas mettre l’appareil en service dans un
garage ou un local exposé à un risque d’incendie,
tel que des étables, des hangars à bois, etc.
• Attention ! Ne pas introduire d’objets étrangers
dans les ouvertures de l’appareil ! Risque de
blessures (électrocution) et de dommages sur
l’appareil !
• L’appareil doit en permanence pouvoir aspirer et
expirer l’air !
• Placer l’appareil de manière à exclure tout contact
par inadvertance.

• Cet appareil n’a pas été conçu pour être utilisé par
des personnes (y compris des enfants) dont les
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont
réduites, ou n’ayant ni connaissance ni expérience,
à moins qu’elles n’aient été instruites de la manière
de l’utiliser ou ne soient supervisées par une
personne responsable de leur sécurité.
• Veiller à ce que les enfants n’aient pas l’occasion
de jouer avec les appareils électriques !
• Pendant l’utilisation, la prise de courant doit être
accessible à tout moment afin de permettre de
débrancher rapidement.
• Attention ! Afin d’éviter tout risque lié à une

EMBALLAGE
• Après le déballage, vérifier si l’appareil n’a pas
subi de dommages de transport et si la fourniture
est complète.
• En cas de dommages ou de fourniture
incomplète, veuillez-vous adresser à votre
revendeur !
• Ne pas jeter le carton d’origine ! Il sera nécessaire
pour le stockage et l’expédition afin d’éviter tout
dommage dû au transport !
• Recycler en bonne et due forme le matériau
d’emballage ! Les sacs en plastique ne doivent pas
être laissés à la portée des enfants !

LIEU D’INSTALLATION
• L’écartement entre l’appareil et tout objet
inflammable (par ex. les rideaux), les murs ou toute
autre structure doit être de 1m minimum.
• Ne pas mettre l’appareil sur des surfaces instables
(par ex. un lit) car il pourrait se renverser.
• Ne jamais placer l’appareil directement sous une
prise de courant murale.
• L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé sur des tapis à
fibres longues.
CORDON D’ALIMENTATION
• Utiliser uniquement des rallonges testées
correspondant à la puissance de l’appareil !
• Positionner le câble de telle sorte que personne ne
puisse trébucher et renverser l’appareil.
• Le cordon d’alimentation ne doit pas entrer en
contact avec des parties brûlantes de l’appareil!
• Ne jamais débrancher le radiateur en tirant sur le
câble !
• Ne jamais déplacer l’appareil en tirant sur le câble
et ne jamais utiliser le câble pour porter l’appareil !
• Ne pas enrouler le câble autour du radiateur ! Ne
pas utiliser le radiateur si le câble est enroulé ! Cela
vaut en particulier en cas d’utilisation d’un enrouleur
de câble.
• Ne pas coincer le câble, ne pas le tendre sur des
arêtes coupantes, ne pas le poser au-dessus de
plaques de cuisinière ou de flammes ouvertes !
MISE EN SERVICE ET
FONCTIONNEMENT
Lors de sa première mise en fonctionnement, votre
appareil peut dégager une légère odeur. Ceci est
normal et prévoyez par conséquent une ventilation
suffisante. Cette odeur ne sera que provisoire et
s’estompera rapidement.

Le thermostat est réglé automatiquement.
Dès que la température désirée est atteinte,
l'appareil s'éteindra. Si la température baisse, le
thermostat remettra l'appareil en marche afin de
maintenir une température constante dans la pièce.
Un témoin lumineux vous permettra de vérifier que
la régulation thermostatique s’effectue
correctement. Pendant les temps de chauffe, ce

voyant sera allumé puis s’éteindra lorsque la
température réglée est atteinte.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
• Débranchez toujours la fiche de la prise murale
avant de nettoyer l'appareil.
• Pour éviter tout risque de décharge électrique,
nettoyez votre appareil avec un chiffon doux et
humide, ne l'immergez jamais dans de l'eau ou
dans tout autre liquide.
• Vous pouvez utiliser un aspirateur ou une
brosse pour nettoyer les grilles de sortie d’air.
Cet entretien est à effectuer régulièrement pour
garantir un fonctionnement convenable de votre
appareil.
MAINTENANCE
Mettre tout d’abord l’appareil hors tension et
retirer la fiche secteur de la prise !
Nettoyer le boîtier avec un chiffon humide, un
aspirateur ou une brosse.
Ne pas utiliser de détergents abrasifs ou corrosifs
!
Pour nettoyer l’appareil, ne jamais utiliser de
produits inflammables tels que de l’essence ou de
l’alcool.
Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ! Danger
de mort !
Les zones d’aspiration et d’échappement sont à
nettoyer régulièrement à l’aide d’un aspirateur.
Si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil pendant une
période prolongée, vous devez le protéger contre la
poussière et la saleté.
SERVICE APRÈS-VENTE
_ Un commutateur endommagé doit être remplacé
dans nos ateliers du service après-vente.
_ Si le remplacement du câble d’alimentation est
nécessaire, cela doit être réalisé par le fabricant
ou son agent pour éviter un danger.
Les réparations et interventions réalisées sur
l’appareil ne sont permises que par du personnel
spécialisé agréé !
Adressez-vous à votre revendeur.
Attention ! Les interventions non conformes
annulent toute garantie.
Des réparations non conformes peuvent conduire

normaal huishoudelijk gebruik en niet voor
industriële doeleinden.
VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• Het apparaat mag uitsluitend worden gebruikt
zoals beschreven in de gebruiksaanwijzing. Ieder
ander gebruik is niet toegestaan! Bij schade door
onjuist gebruik en door het niet in acht nemen van
de veiligheidsvoorschriften, vervalt iedere
aanspraak op garantie!
• Voor vorstschade die veroorzaakt is door een voor
de te verwarmen ruimte te kleine
verwarmingscapaciteit, slechte warmte-isolatie van
de ruimte, onjuiste bediening of door overmacht
(bijv. stroomstoring), kunnen wij niet aansprakelijk
worden gesteld.
• Het apparaat alleen op wisselstroom – spanning
conform het typeplaatje - aansluiten!
• Nooit onder spanning staande delen aanraken!

• Het apparaat nooit met natte handen bedienen!

• Het apparaat moet zodanig geplaatst worden, dat
de bedieningsdelen niet aangeraakt kunnen worden

wateraansluitingen gebruiken.

worden bewaard!
• Het apparaat nooit inschakelen,wanneer het
apparaat of het netsnoer beschadigd zijn! Gevaar
voor verwondingen!
• Controleer het netsnoer regelmatig op
beschadigingen!
• Vertoont het netsnoer beschadigde plekken of is
het apparaat zo sterk beschadigd dat elektrische
delen bloot liggen, onmiddellijk van het net
loskoppelen en zich tot uw leverancier wenden.
• Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen de gebruiker in
groot gevaar brengen!
• Alleen bevoegd personeel mag het apparaat
openen en repareren!
• Geen licht ontvlambare stoffen of sprays bewaren
of gebruiken in de buurt van het apparaat als dat in
werking is. Brandgevaar!
• Het apparaat niet in een licht ontvlambare
omgeving (bijv. in de buurt van brandbare gassen of
spuitbussen) gebruiken! Gevaar voor explosies en
brand!
• Apparaat niet in garages of brandgevaarlijke
ruimtes zoals stallingen, houten schuren enz. in
gebruik nemen.
• BELANGRIJK! Plaats geen vreemde objecten in
de openingen van het apparaat!
Verwondingsgevaar (elektrische schok) en
beschadiging van het apparaat!
• Het apparaat moet altijd vrij lucht kunnen
aanzuigen en uitblazen!
• Plaats het apparaat zo dat niemand het per
ongeluk kan aanraken. Gevaar voor
brandwonden!
• WAARSCHUWING: OM OVERVER-HITTING TE
VERMIJDEN, DE RADIATOR NIET AFDEKKEN.
• De de radiator heeft een waarschuwingssymbool
met de aanduiding dat deze niet afgedekt
mag worden.
• Het apparaat is niet geschikt om op vaste
leidingen aan te sluiten.
• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door
personen (inclusief kinderen) met verminderde
fysieke, sensorische of mentale capaciteiten, of
gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, tenzij onder toezicht
of als zij instructies hebben ontvangen over het
gebruik van het apparaat van een persoon die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
• Kinderen mogen het apparaat alleen onder
toezicht gebruiken!
• Let op, zorg dat kinderen niet de gelegenheid
hebben met het apparaat te spelen!

• De gebruiksaanwijzing hoort bij het apparaat en
moet zorgvuldig worden bewaard! Wanneer het
apparaat van eigenaar verandert, moet de
gebruiksaanwijzing eveneens worden overhandigd!
BELANGRIJK - Indien het stroomsnoer van het
apparaat beschadigd is dient het te worden
vervangen door de fabrikant, door de
servicemonteur of door een gelijkaardig bevoegd
persoon om gevaar te vermijden.

VERPAKKING
• Na het uitpakken het apparaat op transportschade
en volledigheid controleren! Bij schade of een
onvolledige levering a.u.b. contact met uw
leverancier opnemen!
• De originele doos niet weggooien! Deze heeft u
nodig om het apparaat in te bewaren en te
versturen en zo transportschade te voorkomen!
• Het verpakkingsmateriaal op de juiste wijze bij het
afval doen! Plastic zakken kunnen levensgevaarlijk
speelgoed vormen voor kinderen!

Verpakkingsmateriaal is geen

STANDPLAATS
• De afstand tussen apparaat en brandbare
voorwerpen, wanden en andere structuren moet
minstens 1m bedragen. De apparaatopeningen
nooit blokkeren!
• Het apparaat niet op een onstabiele ondergrond
(bijv. een bed) zetten, omdat het dan kan kantelen!
• Het apparaat nooit vlak onder een stopcontact
plaatsen!
• Het apparaat mag niet direct op hoogpolig tapijt
worden gebruikt.
SNOER
• Gebruik alleen een verlengsnoer dat overeenstemt
met de nominale waarde van het apparaat!
• Zorg dat niemand over het snoer kan struikelen en
zo het apparaat kan omgooien.
• Het snoer mag niet in aanraking komen met hete
delen van het apparaat!
• De stekker nooit aan het snoer uit het stopcontact
trekken!
• Het apparaat nooit bewegen door aan het snoer te
trekken en het apparaat nooit aan het snoer dragen!
• Het snoer niet om het apparaat wikkelen! Het
apparaat niet met opgerold snoer gebruiken!Dit
geldt met name bij gebruik van een kabelhaspel.
• Het snoer niet vastklemmen of over scherpe
randen trekken. Het snoer niet op hete kookplaten
of open vuur leggen!
GEBRUIK
Wanneer het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt
aangezet, zal het een lichte geur afgeven. Dit is
perfect normaal, zorg dus voor voldoende ventilatie.
Deze geur is slechts tijdelijk en zal snel verdwijnen.

De thermostaat wordt automatisch geregeld.
Wanneer de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is, wordt
het toestel automatisch uitgeschakeld. Indien de
temperatuur weer daalt, schakelt de thermostaat het
toestel weer aan. Op die manier kunt u steeds een
constante temperatuur in de kamer behouden.
Een controlelampje duidt de regeling van de
thermostaat aan. Wanneer het toestel opwarmt,
brandt het controlelampje. Zodra de gewenste
temperatuur bereikt is, gaat het controlelampje uit.
ONDERHOUD
• Eerst het apparaat uitschakelen en de stekker uit
het stopcontact trekken!
• De behuizing met een vochtige doek, stofzuiger of
stofborstel reinigen.
• Geen schurende of caustische reinigingsmiddelen
gebruiken!
• Gebruik nooit licht ontvlambare
schoonmaakproducten zoals benzine of spiritus om
het apparaat te reinigen.
• Het apparaat nooit in water onderdompelen!
Levensgevaarlijk!
• Aanzuig- en uitblaasbereik moeten regelmatig met
een stofzuiger worden gereinigd.
• Wanneer u het apparaat langere tijd niet gebruikt,
moet u het tegen overmatig stof en vuil
beschermen.
SERVICEDIENST
_ Beschadigde schakelaars moeten in de
werkplaats van onze klantendienst hersteld
worden.
_ Als de vervanging van de voedingskabel
noodzakelijk is, moet dit plaatsvinden door de
fabrikant of zijn agent om een gevaar te
voorkomen.
Alle reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd door
bevoegd personeel!
Neem contact op met een leverancier.
Door ondeskundige ingrepen gaat het recht
op garantie verloren. Let op!
Ondeskundige reparaties en uitgevoerd door
onbevoegde personen kunnen ernstig gevaar
opleveren voor de gebruiker!
In verband met de technische verdere
ontwikkeling zijn veranderingen aan de constructie
of uitvoering voorbehouden zonder voorafgaande

OPSLAG
Reinig zorgvuldig de gehele machine en het
toebehoren.
Berg de machine op buiten het bereik van
kinderen, in een stabiele en veilige positie en op
een droge plaats met een gematigde temperatuur.
Vermijd te hoge en te lage temperaturen.
Bescherm de machine tegen direct invallend licht.
Bewaar ze, indien mogelijk, op een donkere plaats.
Bewaar de machine niet in plastic of Nylon
zakken om te vermijden dat er zich vocht ophoopt.

PACKAGING
· After unpacking the appliance, check the same for
transport damage and the contents for
completeness!
In the event of damage or an incomplete delivery,
contact your authorised retailer!
· Do not discard the original box! It can be used for
storage and dispatch to avoid transport damage!
· Dispose of the packaging material in a proper
manner! Plastic bags should be kept away from
children!

LOCATION
· The appliance should be placed with a minimum
distance of 1m from flammable objects, walls or
other structures! The appliance openings must not
be obstructed in any way!
· Do not place the appliance on instable surfaces
(e.g. a bed), where it can tip over!
· The appliance must not be located below a socket
outlet!
· The appliance must not be operated directly on
high pile carpets .
POWER CORD
· Only use an approved extension cord that is
suitable for the appliance rating!
· Position the power cord so that it does not pose a
tripping hazard and possibly cause the appliance to
be knocked over.
· The power cord must not come into contact with
hot appliance parts!
· Never pull the plug out of the socket at the cord!
· Never move the appliance by pulling at the cord or
use the cord for carrying purposes!
· Do not coil the cord around the appliance! Do not
use the appliance with the cord coiled!
This applies particularly if a cable drum is used.
· Do not crush the cord or drag it over sharp edges.
Do not place it over heated hotplates or naked
flames!
OPERATION
When the appliance is switched on for the first time,
a slight smell may be emitted. Please ensure
sufficient ventilation. This smell will disappear very
quickly.

Thermostat
The thermostat is regulated automatically. When the
desired temperature is reached, the unit will
automatically off. Once the temperature has fallen,
the heater will on again.
A pilot light will allow you to check the thermostatic
regulation. When the appliance is heating, this pilot
light will be on. It will go out when the desired
temperature is reached.
MAINTENANCE
· Switch off the appliance first and disconnect the
plug from the socket!·
· Clean the housing with a moist cloth, vacuum
cleaner or brush.· Do not use any abrasive or
caustic cleaning agents!· Do not use any flammable
cleaning agents e.g. petrol or spirit for cleaning the
appliance.· Never immerse the appliance in water!

· Air inlet- and outlet area should be cleaned with a
vacuum cleaner regularly
· If the appliance is not used for extended periods,
it must be protected against excessive dust and dirt.
SERVICE DEPARTMENT
_ Damaged switches must be replaced by our after-
sales service department.
_ If replacing the power cord is necessary, it
should be done by the manufacturer or his agent
to avoid a hazard.
· All repairs must be referred to authorised
personnel!
· See your local dealer.
· Any tampering with the appliance will invalidate
the warranty.
· Repairs carried out improperly and by unqualified
persons may have serious consequences for the
user!
· In the interests of further development, the
appliance may be subject to constructional or
design changes without prior notice.
