Mit dem Kauf des SilverCrest Heizlüfters mit Display SHLF 2000 C1, nachfolgend als Heizlüfter

bezeichnet, haben Sie sich für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden.



Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme mit dem Heizlüfter vertraut und lesen Sie diese

Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch. Beachten Sie vor allem die Sicherheitshinweise und

benutzen Sie den Heizlüfter nur, wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben und für die

angegebenen Einsatzbereiche.

Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung gut auf. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe

des Heizlüfters an Dritte ebenfalls mit aus.

1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Der Heizlüfter wird bestimmungsgemäß verwendet, wenn er ausschließlich zum Heizen oder

Belüften von Innenräumen verwendet wird. Dieser Heizlüfter darf nicht außerhalb von

geschlossenen Räumen und in tropischen Klimaregionen genutzt werden. Ebenso darf der

Heizlüfter nicht in Räumen verwendet werden, in denen besondere Bedingungen, wie z. B. eine

explosionsfähige Atmosphäre (durch Gas, Staub oder Dampf) vorliegen. Dieser Heizlüfter ist nicht

für den Betrieb in einem Unternehmen bzw. den gewerblichen Einsatz vorgesehen. Verwenden Sie

den Heizlüfter ausschließlich in Wohnbereichen für den privaten Gebrauch, jede andere

Verwendung ist nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Dieser Heizlüfter erfüllt alle in der Konformitätserklärung

genannten Normen und Richtlinien. Bei einer nicht mit dem Hersteller abgestimmten Änderung des

Heizlüfters ist die Einhaltung dieser Normen nicht mehr gewährleistet. Aus hieraus resultierenden

Schäden oder Störungen ist jegliche Haftung seitens des Herstellers ausgeschlossen.

Bitte beachten Sie die Landesvorschriften bzw. Gesetze des Einsatzlandes.

2. Lieferumfang

Nehmen Sie den Heizlüfter und alle Zubehörteile aus der Verpackung. Entfernen Sie alle

Verpackungsmaterialien und überprüfen Sie, ob alle Komponenten vollständig und unbeschädigt

sind. Im Falle einer unvollständigen oder beschädigten Lieferung wenden Sie sich bitte an den

Hersteller.

Diese Anleitung ist mit einem ausklappbaren Umschlag versehen. Auf der Innenseite des Umschlags

ist der Heizlüfter mit einer Bezifferung abgebildet. Die Ziffern haben folgende Bedeutung:

folgenden Anweisungen genau durch und beachten Sie alle

Warnhinweise, selbst wenn Ihnen der Umgang mit

elektronischen Geräten vertraut ist. Bewahren Sie diese

Anleitung sorgfältig als zukünftige Referenz auf. Wenn Sie den

Heizlüfter verkaufen oder weitergeben, händigen Sie unbedingt

auch diese Anleitung aus, sie ist Teil des Heizlüfters.

Bedeutung der verwendeten Symbole

GEFAHR! Dieses Symbol, mit dem Hinweis „Gefahr“,

kennzeichnet eine drohende gefährliche Situation, die,

wenn sie nicht verhindert wird, zu schweren

Verletzungen oder sogar zum Tod führen kann.

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

 Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre sind vom Heizlüfter fernzuhalten, es

sei denn, sie werden ständig überwacht.

 Dieser Heizlüfter kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber

sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen

oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und

Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder

bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Heizlüfters

unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren

verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Heizlüfter spielen.

Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern

ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

 Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen den

Heizlüfter nur ein- und ausschalten, wenn sie beaufsichtigt

werden oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des

Heizlüfters unterwiesen wurden und die daraus

resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben, vorausgesetzt,

dass der Heizlüfter in seiner normalen Gebrauchslage

platziert oder installiert ist.

 Kleinteile können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein.

Halten Sie auch die Verpackungsfolien fern. Es besteht

Erstickungsgefahr.

 Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen nicht den

Stecker in die Steckdose stecken, den Heizlüfter nicht

regulieren, den Heizlüfter nicht reinigen und/oder nicht die

Wartung durch den Benutzer durchführen.

 Vorsicht! Einige Teile des Heizlüfters können sehr heiß

werden und Verbrennungen verursachen. Besondere Vorsicht

ist geboten, wenn Kinder und schutzbedürftige Personen

anwesend sind.

 Der Heizlüfter darf niemals in unmittelbarer Nähe eines

Spülbeckens, einer Badewanne, einer Dusche oder eines

Schwimmbeckens verwendet werden, da Spritzwasser in das

Gerät gelangen könnte

 Bei Beschädigungen oder Fehlfunktionen darf der Heizlüfter

nicht mehr in Betrieb genommen werden, um Gefährdungen

zu vermeiden. Lassen Sie den Heizlüfter vom Kundendienst

oder einer ähnlich qualifizierten Person überprüfen und ggf.

reparieren.

 Benutzen Sie den Heizlüfter ausschließlich in Innenräumen

und keinesfalls, um z. B. ein Auto oder Zelt aufzuheizen.

 Bedecken Sie den Heizlüfter niemals mit Wäsche oder

anderen Gegenständen, um diese zu trocknen. Grundsätzlich

darf der Heizlüfter niemals abgedeckt werden, um eine

Überhitzung zu vermeiden.

GEFAHR durch elektrischen Schlag!

 Schließen Sie den Heizlüfter nur an eine immer leicht

zugängliche Netzsteckdose an. Der Heizlüfter darf jedoch

niemals unmittelbar unterhalb einer Wandsteckdose

aufgestellt werden. Betreiben Sie den Heizlüfter

ausschließlich mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen

Spannung!

 Der Heizlüfter, das Netzkabel (9) und der Netzstecker

dürfen nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten getaucht

werden.

 Fassen Sie das Netzkabel (9) und den Heizlüfter nie mit

nassen Händen an.

 Schützen Sie den Heizlüfter vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser.

Sollte Flüssigkeit in den Heizlüfter gelangen, ziehen Sie sofort

den Netzstecker und lassen Sie den Heizlüfter vom

Kundendienst oder einer ähnlich qualifizierte Person

überprüfen und ggf. reparieren.

 Sollte der Heizlüfter ins Wasser gefallen sein, ziehen Sie

sofort den Netzstecker und nehmen Sie erst danach den

Heizlüfter aus dem Wasser heraus.

 Zur vollständigen Netztrennung muss der Netzstecker aus

der Steckdose gezogen werden. Ziehen Sie nie am

Netzkabel (9), um den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose zu

ziehen. Ziehen Sie immer am Netzstecker selbst.

 Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn der

Heizlüfter nicht richtig funktioniert, wenn er nicht benutzt

wird, bei Gewitter und vor jeder Reinigung.

 Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel (9) nicht durch

scharfe Kanten oder heiße Stellen beschädigt werden kann.

 Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel (9) nicht

eingeklemmt oder gequetscht wird.

 Nehmen Sie keine Veränderungen am Heizlüfter vor.

 Wenn das Netzkabel (9) beschädigt ist, muss es durch den

Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich

qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu

vermeiden. Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker oder

Verlängerungskabel und nehmen Sie auch keine Eingriffe am

Netzkabel (9) vor!

Brandgefahr!

 Stellen Sie den Heizlüfter immer auf einem ebenen,

wärmebeständigen Untergrund und nicht in der Nähe von

Wärmequellen und brennbaren Materialien, Flüssigkeiten

oder Gasen auf. Lassen Sie mindestens 1 m Abstand zu allen

Seiten.

 Der Heizlüfter ist nicht dazu bestimmt, mit einer externen

Zeitschaltuhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben

zu werden.

 Wickeln Sie immer das gesamte Netzkabel (9) ab.

 Der Heizlüfter darf nicht abgedeckt werden und es dürfen

sich keine Gegenstände zwischen Lufteintrittsgitter (6) sowie

Luftaustrittsgitter (2) befinden, um eine Überhitzung zu

vermeiden.

 Um einen Hitzestau zu vermeiden, muss die Luft immer frei

ein- und austreten können.

 Während des Betriebes dürfen sich keine brennbaren

Gegenstände, z. B. Vorhänge oder Papier, in unmittelbarer

Nähe des Heizlüfters befinden.

 Achten Sie darauf, dass keine offenen Brandquellen (z. B.

brennende Kerzen) auf oder neben dem Heizlüfter stehen.

Verbrennungsgefahr!

 Die Oberflächen des Heizlüfters können im Betrieb sehr heiß

sein. Greifen Sie das Gerät nur am Griff (5).

 Auch direkt nach dem Ausschalten kann der Heizlüfter noch

sehr heiß sein.

 Lassen Sie den Heizlüfter vor jeder Reinigung abkühlen.

 Transportieren Sie den Heizlüfter nur im abgekühlten

Zustand. Tragen Sie ihn immer am Griff (5).

Verletzungsgefahr

 Falls Sie Rauchentwicklung, ungewöhnliche Geräusche oder

Gerüche feststellen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker sofort aus

der Netzsteckdose. In diesen Fällen darf der Heizlüfter nicht

weiter verwendet werden, bevor eine Überprüfung durch

einen Fachmann durchgeführt wurde.

 Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel (9) immer so, dass niemand

darüber stolpern kann.

 Halten Sie immer genug Abstand zum Heizlüfter, damit nicht

Haare oder Kleidungsstücke vom Ventilator in den Heizlüfter

eingesogen werden können.

GEFAHR durch Batterien

 Beachten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterie die korrekte

Polarität. Ersetzen Sie eine leere Batterie immer durch eine

Batterie gleichen Typs. Explosionsgefahr!

 Batterien können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein.

Bewahren Sie deshalb Batterien für Kleinkinder unerreichbar

auf. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort ärztliche

Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

 Batterien dürfen nicht aufgeladen, nicht auseinander

genommen, nicht ins Feuer geworfen oder kurzgeschlossen

werden.

 Entfernen Sie eine leere Batterie umgehend, um ein

Auslaufen zu verhindern.

 Wenn Batteriesäure ausgelaufen ist, vermeiden Sie den

Kontakt mit Augen, Haut und Schleimhäuten. Spülen Sie bei

Kontakt mit der Säure die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit

reichlich klarem Wasser aus und suchen Sie umgehend einen

Arzt auf.

WARNUNG vor Sachschäden

 Versuchen Sie nicht, die Schwenkfunktion von Hand zu

drehen. Dabei könnte der Motor beschädigt werden.

 Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden

Reinigungsmittel.

7. Vor der Inbetriebnahme

Entnehmen Sie den Heizlüfter aus der Verpackung und entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial

vollständig. Prüfen Sie den Heizlüfter auf Beschädigungen. Bei Beschädigungen darf der Heizlüfter

nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

7.1 Fernbedienung / Batterie einlegen

Die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung (19) können Sie bei Nichtgebrauch im Fernbedienungsfach (7)

des Heizlüfters aufbewahren. Sie können den Heizlüfter in gleicher Weise am Bedienfeld (1) des

Heizlüfters und über die Fernbedienung (19) bedienen. Die Tasten am Bedienfeld (1) und an der

Fernbedienung (19) sind gleich beschriftet und haben die gleiche Funktion.

Bei Auslieferung ist die Batterie bereits in die Fernbedienung (19) eingelegt. Entfernen Sie

den Plastikstreifen, der aus dem Batteriefach herausragt, um die Batterie zu aktivieren.

Wenn die Batterie in der Fernbedienung (19) leer ist, legen Sie eine neue 3-Volt Batterie vom Typ

CR2025 ein. Gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:

 Drücken Sie die Verschlusslasche am Batteriefach der Fernbedienung (19) zur Mitte hin

(Bild A). Ziehen Sie das Batteriefach heraus.

 Entnehmen Sie die leere Batterie und legen Sie eine neue Batterie ein. Achten Sie auf die

korrekte Polarität (+/-)

 Schieben Sie das Batteriefach zurück in die Fernbedienung (19), bis die Verschlusslasche

einrastet.

8. Inbetriebnahme

GEFAHR! Im Betrieb kann die Temperatur der berührbaren Flächen sehr hoch sein. Es

besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!

GEFAHR! Wickeln Sie immer das gesamte Netzkabel (9) ab. Es besteht Brandgefahr.

GEFAHR! Halten Sie mindestens einen Abstand von einem Meter zu Wänden,

Einrichtungsgegenständen und anderen Geräten. Es besteht Brandgefahr.

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme kann es kurzzeitig zu Geruchsentwicklung bzw. leichter

Rauchentwicklung kommen. Dieses ist normal und völlig unbedenklich. Achten Sie

währenddessen auf ausreichende Lüftung.

 Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter (8) aus.

 Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine immer leicht zugängliche Netzsteckdose.

Sie können den Heizlüfter in gleicher Weise am Bedienfeld (1) des Heizlüfters und über die

Fernbedienung (19) bedienen. Die Tasten am Bedienfeld (1) und an der Fernbedienung (19) sind

gleich beschriftet und haben die gleiche Funktion. Die folgende Beschreibung und die verwendeten

Bezugsnummern beziehen sich auf die Bedienung am Bedienfeld (1).

8.1 Heizlüfter ein- und ausschalten

 Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter (8) ein. Der Hauptschalter (8) und das Display (10) leuchten.

Im Display (10) blinkt der Timer (32). Der Heizlüfter befindet sich nun im Standby-Modus und

kann über das Bedienfeld (1) oder die Fernbedienung (19) bedient werden.

 Um den Heizlüfter zu verwenden, drücken Sie die Taste (11).

Die Betriebskontrollleuchte (14) leuchtet rot.

 Um den Heizlüfter wieder in den Standby-Modus zu schalten, drücken Sie erneut die

Taste (11). Die Betriebskontrollleuchte (14) erlischt.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Heizlüfter im Standby-Modus minimal Strom verbraucht.

 Um den Heizlüfter komplett auszuschalten, muss er am Hauptschalter (8) ausgeschaltet

werden.

Auch bei ausgeschaltetem Hauptschalter (8) liegt im Gerät noch die volle Netzspannung

an. Erst durch das Ziehen des Netzsteckers wird der Heizlüfter komplett stromlos.

8.2 Einstellung der Heizleistung

Bei jedem Einschalten mit der Taste (11) startet der Heizlüfter mit geringer Heizleistung .

Um eine andere Betriebsart zu wählen, gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:

Drücken Sie die Taste „MODE“ (18) so oft, bis die gewünschte Betriebsart im Display (10)

angezeigt wird:

Ventilatorfunktion: Im Ventilatorbetrieb arbeitet der Heizlüfter ohne

Heizfunktion. Oberhalb der Ist-Temperatur werden im Display (10) kleine

blinkende Striche angezeigt.

8.3 Temperatureinstellung im Automatikbetrieb

In der Betriebsart „Auto“ können Sie eine Solltemperatur vorgeben, um in dem beheizten Raum

eine nahezu konstante Temperatur zu erreichen.

Die Einstellung der Soll-Temperatur (34) ist maßgeblich für den Betrieb des Heizlüfters.

Der Heizlüfter schaltet ab, sobald die eingestellte Soll-Temperatur (34) erreicht ist.

 Durch Drücken der Taste „+“ (12) erhöhen Sie die Soll-Temperatur (34) bis auf einen Wert von

maximal 38°C.

 Durch Drücken der Taste „-“ (13) verringern Sie die Soll-Temperatur (34) bis auf einen Wert

von minimal 6°C.

Die eingestellte Soll-Temperatur (34) wird im Display (10) angezeigt. Ebenso wird die aktuelle

Raumtemperatur (33) im Display (10) angezeigt.

Sobald die Raumtemperatur (33) die eingestellte Soll-Temperatur (34) erreicht hat, schaltet der

Heizlüfter automatisch aus.

Der Heizlüfter schaltet sich automatisch wieder ein, wenn die Raumtemperatur (33) unter die

eingestellte Soll-Temperatur (34) sinkt.

8.4 Heizdauer/ Lüftungsdauer einstellen

Der Heizlüfter verfügt über einen Timer (32), über den Sie die Laufzeit des Heizlüfters einstellen

können. Einstellbar ist eine Laufzeit zwischen 1 Minute und 23 Stunden 59 Minuten.

Gehen Sie zur Einstellung der Laufzeit folgendermaßen vor:

 Drücken

Sie die Taste (16). Die Stundenanzeige blinkt.

 Stellen Sie die Stunden mit den Tasten „+“ (12) oder „-“ (13) ein. Um den Fortlauf der Ziffern

zu beschleunigen, können Sie die jeweilige Taste auch gedrückt halten.

 Drücken

Sie erneut die Taste (16). Die Minutenanzeige blinkt.

 Stellen Sie die Minuten mit den Tasten „+“ (12) oder „-“ (13) ein.

Um den Fortlauf der Ziffern

zu beschleunigen, können Sie die jeweilige Taste auch gedrückt halten.

 Drücken

Sie erneut die Taste (16), um den Timer (32) zu starten. Die Restlaufzeit wird im

Display (10) angezeigt.

Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Laufzeit schaltet der Heizlüfter ab.

8.5 Die Schwenkfunktion

Beim Einschalten des Heizlüfters ist die Schwenkfunktion immer deaktiviert.

Die integrierte Schwenkfunktion bewirkt, dass der Heizlüfter hin und her schwenkt und so die

ausströmende Luft gleichmäßiger im Raum verteilt wird.

 Mit der Taste (17) schalten Sie die Schwenkfunktion ein bzw. aus.

Bei eingeschalteter Schwenkfunktion wird im Display (10) „Osc“ (27) angezeigt.

8.6 Die Frostwächter-Funktion

Die aktivierte Frostwächter-Funktion sorgt dafür, dass die Temperatur in einem Raum nicht unter

7°C sinkt. Sobald die Raumtemperatur (33) auf 7°C gefallen ist, beginnt der Heizlüfter zu heizen

und schaltet wieder ab, wenn die Raumtemperatur (33) 9°C erreicht hat.

 Um die Frostwächter-Funktion zu aktivieren, drücken Sie die Taste „MODE“ (18) so oft, bis im

Display (10) das Symbol angezeigt wird.

 Um die Frostwächter-Funktion zu deaktivieren, drücken Sie die Taste „MODE“ (18) einmal.

Das Symbol erlischt und der Heizlüfter befindet sich im Ventilatorbetrieb.

8.7 Der Überhitzungsschutz

Der Heizlüfter ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Heizelement bei einer internen

Überhitzung automatisch abschaltet. Der Ventilator läuft dagegen weiter, um die Abkühlung des

Heizlüfters zu beschleunigen. Sobald sich der Heizlüfter wieder abgekühlt hat, schaltet das

Heizelement selbstständig wieder ein.

BRANDGEFAHR!

Der Überhitzungsschutz löst in der Regel nicht grundlos aus. Überprüfen Sie folgende

Punkte:

 Kann der Heizlüfter seine Wärme ungehindert abgeben?

 Steht der Heizlüfter zu dicht an einer Wand oder einem anderen Gegenstand?

 Ist der Heizlüfter abgedeckt?

 Sind Lufteintrittsgitter (6) sowie Luftaustrittsgitter (2) des Heizlüfters frei?

 Ist der Ventilator durch Fremdkörper blockiert?

Beseitigen Sie offensichtliche Probleme umgehend oder wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller.

Wenn der Überhitzungsschutz ohne ersichtlichen Grund wiederholt auslöst, könnte ein

technischer Defekt vorliegen. Betreiben Sie in diesem Fall den Heizlüfter nicht länger und

wenden Sie sich bitte an den Hersteller.

8.8 Kippsicherung

Der Heizlüfter ist mit einem Sicherheitsschalter (4) ausgerüstet. Dieser befindet sich am

Geräteboden. Sobald der Heizlüfter schräg steht oder sogar umfällt, wird er durch den

Sicherheitsschalter (4) automatisch ausgeschaltet.

 Stellen Sie den Heizlüfter in eine aufrechte, sichere Position, in der der Sicherheitsschalter (4)

gedrückt ist.

 Der Heizlüfter wird nicht automatisch wieder eingeschaltet. Bitte wählen Sie erneut die

gewünschte Funktion.

BRANDGEFAHR! Der Sicherheitsschalter (4) darf nicht manipuliert oder blockiert

werden, um den Heizlüfter in anderer als in aufrechter Position betreiben zu können.

9. Fehlerbehebung

Der Heizlüfter zeigt keine Funktion

 Prüfen Sie, ob der Netzstecker richtig in die Netzsteckdose eingesteckt ist.

 Prüfen Sie, ob die Netzsteckdose Spannung liefert. Kontrollieren Sie gegebenenfalls die

Haussicherungen.

 Prüfen Sie, ob der Hauptschalter (8) eingeschaltet ist.

Der Heizlüfter heizt nicht

 Prüfen Sie, ob die Soll-Temperatur (34) bereits erreicht ist.

 Prüfen Sie, ob der Heizlüfter in aufrechter Position steht und der Sicherheitsschalter (4) betätigt

wird.

 Prüfen Sie, ob der Heizlüfter im Lüfter-Modus betrieben wird

 Der interne Überhitzungsschutz wurde aktiviert. Lassen Sie den Heizlüfter abkühlen und prüfen

Sie, ob Lufteintrittsgitter (6) sowie Luftaustrittsgitter (2) frei sind.

 Das Heizelement ist defekt. Wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst.

Die Bedienung über die Fernbedienung (19) funktioniert nicht

 Richten Sie die Fernbedienung (19) direkt auf das Bedienfeld (1) des Heizlüfters. Hier befindet

sich der Infrarot-Empfänger (15). Achten Sie darauf, dass sich keine Gegenstände zwischen

Fernbedienung (19) und Heizlüfter befinden.

 Eventuell ist die Entfernung zwischen Heizlüfter und Fernbedienung (19) zu groß. Verringern

Sie die Entfernung.

 Die Batterie der Fernbedienung (19) ist leer. Legen Sie eine neue 3-Volt Batterie vom Typ

CR2025 ein.

10. Wartung / Reinigung

10.1 Wartung

Reparaturarbeiten sind erforderlich, wenn der Heizlüfter beschädigt wurde, Flüssigkeit

oder Gegenstände ins Innere des Gehäuses gelangt sind, der Heizlüfter Regen oder

Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wurde oder wenn der Heizlüfter nicht einwandfrei funktioniert oder

heruntergefallen ist. Falls Sie Rauchentwicklung, ungewöhnliche Geräusche oder Gerüche

feststellen, schalten Sie den Heizlüfter sofort aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose. In diesen Fällen darf der Heizlüfter nicht weiter verwendet werden, bevor

eine Überprüfung durch einen Fachmann durchgeführt wurde. Lassen Sie alle

Reparaturarbeiten nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchführen. Öffnen Sie niemals

das Gehäuse des Heizlüfters.

10.2 Reinigung

GEFAHR! Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker vor der Reinigung aus der Netzsteckdose, es

besteht Stromschlaggefahr!

GEFAHR! Warten Sie, bis der Heizlüfter abgekühlt ist. Andernfalls besteht Gefahr durch

Verbrennungen!

Reinigen Sie den Heizlüfter in regelmäßigen Abständen. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung ein leicht

angefeuchtetes Tuch und keinesfalls Lösungsmittel oder Reiniger, die Kunststoffe angreifen.

Sollten das Lufteintrittsgitter (6) oder das Luftaustrittsgitter (2) des Heizlüfters verschmutzt sein,

können Sie diese auch mit einem Staubsauger absaugen.

11. Lagerung bei Nichtbenutzung

GEFAHR! Warten Sie, bis der Heizlüfter abgekühlt ist. Andernfalls besteht Gefahr durch

Verbrennungen bzw. Brandgefahr!

Wenn Sie den Heizlüfter für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht einsetzen möchten, ziehen Sie das

Netzkabel (9) aus der Netzsteckdose. Sie können das Netzkabel (9) in Schleifen zusammenlegen

und mit Hilfe des am Netzkabel (9) befestigten Klettbandes zusammenbinden. Bewahren Sie den

Heizlüfter an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direktes Sonnenlicht auf.

12. Umwelthinweise und Entsorgungsangaben

Die mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichneten Geräte unterliegen der europäischen

Richtlinie 2012/19/EU. Alle Elektro- und Elektronikaltgeräte müssen getrennt vom

Hausmüll über dafür staatlich vorgesehene Stellen entsorgt werden. Mit der

ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung des alten Gerätes vermeiden Sie Umweltschäden

und eine Gefährdung der persönlichen Gesundheit. Weitere Informationen zur

fan heater, you have opted for a quality product.

Before first using it, familiarise yourself with the way the fan heater works and read these operating

instructions through carefully. Be careful to follow the safety instructions and only use the fan heater

as described in the operating instructions and for the applications given.

Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If you pass the fan heater on to someone else,

make sure to give them all the relevant documents with it.

1. Intended use

The fan heater is designed exclusively for heating and ventilating inside spaces. This fan heater may

not be used outdoors or in tropical climates. The fan heater may also not be used in spaces where

there are specific conditions such as an explosive atmosphere (e.g. because of gas, dust or steam).

This fan heater has not been designed for corporate or commercial use. Use the fan heater in

domestic environments for private applications only. Any other use does not correspond to the

intended use. This fan heater fulfils all standards and directives listed in the Declaration of

Conformity. In the event of any modification to the fan heater that was not approved by the

manufacturer, compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The manufacturer shall not

be liable for any damage or malfunctions resulting from such modifications.

General safety instructions

 Keep children under 3 away from the fan heater unless they

are under constant supervision.

 This fan heater may be used by children of 8 years or over or

by persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments or

those with no knowledge or experience providing they are

supervised or they have been given instructions on the proper

use of the fan heater and they understand the associated

risks. Children must not play with the fan heater. The product

must not be cleaned or maintained by unsupervised children.

 Children of between 3 and 8 may only switch the fan heater

on and off if they are supervised or have been instructed in

the safe use of the fan heater and understood the resulting

risks, providing the fan heater is placed or installed in its

normal place of use.

 Small parts can be fatal if swallowed. Keep the packaging

away from children and persons with disabilities. There is a

risk of suffocation.

 Children of between 3 and 8 may not insert the plug into the

mains socket, adjust the fan heater, clean the fan heater or

carry out user maintenance.

 Caution! Some parts of the fan heater can get very hot and

cause burns. Be particularly careful if children or persons

requiring extra protection are present.

 The fan heater must not be operated in the immediate vicinity

of a basin, a bathtub, a shower or a swimming pool as water

splashes could get into the device.

 If it is damaged or malfunctions, the fan heater must not be

used, in order to prevent damage. Get customer services or a

 Only use the fan heater indoors, not for heating up a car or

tent, for example.

 Never cover the fan heater with washing or other objects to

dry them. Essentially, to prevent overheating, the fan heater

should never be covered.

DANGER: Risk of electric shock!

 Only plug the mains plug into an easily accessible mains

socket. The fan heater should never be placed immediately

below a wall mains socket. Operate the fan heater only at

the voltage indicated on the rating plate!

 The fan heater, the power cable (9) and the mains plug must

not be immersed in water or other liquids.

 Never touch the power cable (9) or the fan heater with wet

hands.

 Protect the fan heater from drips and splashes. If liquid

penetrates into the fan heater, unplug the mains plug

immediately and get the fan heater checked or repaired if

necessary by customer service or similarly qualified

personnel.

 If the fan heater falls into water, unplug the mains plug

immediately and only then remove the fan heater from the

water.

 To disconnect properly from the mains, the mains plug must

be pulled out of the socket. Never pull on the power cable

(9) to remove the mains plug from the mains socket. Always

pull on the mains plug itself.

 Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if the fan heater

is not working properly, not in use, during thunderstorms and

before cleaning.

 Make sure that the power cable (9) cannot be damaged by

sharp edges or hot spots.

 Make sure that the power cable (9) cannot become crushed

or squashed.

 Do not modify the fan heater in any way.

 If the power cable (9) is damaged, it must be replaced by

the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified

person, in order to avoid any possible danger. Never use

adapter plugs or extension cables and do not tamper with

the power cable (9)!

Risk of fire!

 Always place the fan heater on an even, heat-resistant

surface away from heat sources and combustible materials,

liquids or gases. Leave clearance of at least 1 m on all sides.

 The fan heater is not designed to be operated with an

external timer or a separate remote control system.

 Always unwind all the power cable (9).

 The fan heater must not be covered and no objects must be

inserted into the air inlet grille (6) or the air outlet grille (2) to

avoid overheating.

 In order to avoid a build-up of heat, the air needs to be able

to go in and out freely.

 When the device is in use, burnable objects such as curtains

or paper should be kept away from the fan heater.

 Make sure that no fire hazards (e.g. burning candles) are

placed on or near the fan heater.

Risk of getting burnt!

 The surfaces of the fan heater can get very hot when in use.

Only hold the device by the handle (5).

 The fan heater can still be very hot even after it has been

switched off.

 Always allow the fan heater to cool before cleaning.

 Only transport the fan heater when it has cooled down.

Always carry it by the handle (5).

Risk of injury

 If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or strange smells,

unplug the mains plug from the mains socket immediately. If

this occurs, the fan heater should no longer be used until it

has been inspected by authorised service personnel.

 Lay the power cable (9) so it does not present a trip hazard.

 Always keep enough clearance from the fan heater to ensure

that hair or clothing cannot be sucked into the fan heater by

the fan.

HAZARD from batteries

 Always pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting

the battery. When it is empty, replace it with a battery of the

same type. Risk of explosion!

 Batteries can represent choking hazards. Therefore, always

keep batteries out of reach of children. If a battery is

swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

 Batteries must not be recharged, dismantled, discarded of in

fire or short-circuited.

 Remove empty batteries immediately to prevent leaks.

 If battery acid has leaked out, avoid contact with eyes, skin

and mucus membranes. In the event of contact with acid,

rinse the affected parts immediately with plenty of clean

water and seek medical attention.

WARNING about property damage

 Do not attempt to swivel the unit by hand. This could damage

the motor.

 Do not use any abrasive or astringent detergents.

7. Before you start

Please unpack the fan heater and remove all packaging material. Inspect the fan heater for any

damage. If the fan heater is damaged, do not use it.

7.1 Remote control / inserting the battery

The remote control (19) supplied can be stored in the remote control compartment (7) of the fan

heater when not in use. You can operate the fan heater in the same way from the control panel (1)

of the fan heater or using the remote control (19). The buttons on the control panel (1) and on the

remote control (19) have the same labels and the same function.

The battery has already been fitted into the remote control (19). Remove the plastic strip

sticking out of the battery compartment in order to activate the battery.

If the battery in the remote control (19) is empty, replace it with a new type CR2025 3 Volt battery.

The procedure is as follows:

 Press the closure flap on the battery holder of the remote control (19) towards the centre

(Diagram A). Pull the battery holder out.

 Remove the empty battery and insert a new battery. Make sure the polarity is correct (+/-).

 Push the battery holder back into the remote control (19) until the closure flap clicks into

place.

8. Getting started

DANGER! When switched on, the temperature of exposed surfaces may be very high.

There is a risk of getting burnt!

DANGER! Always unwind all the power cable (9). There is a risk of fire.

DANGER! Keep a clearance of at least one metre to walls, furniture and other devices.

There is a risk of fire.

When you use it for the first time, smells or slight smoke may develop. This is normal and

perfectly safe. However, do make sure there is sufficient ventilation.

 Switch the main switch (8) off.

 Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible mains socket.

You can operate the fan heater in the same way from the control panel (1) of the fan heater or

using the remote control (19). The buttons on the control panel (1) and on the remote control (19)

have the same labels and the same function. The description below and the reference numbers

used relate to operation from the control panel (1).

8.1 Switching the fan heater on and off

 Switch the main switch (8) on. The main switch (8) and the display (10) light up. The timer (32)

flashes on the display (10). The fan heater is now in standby mode and can be operated from

the control panel (1) or the remote control (19).

 To use the fan heater, press the button (11).

The power indicator (14) goes red.

 To switch the fan heater back to standby mode, press the button (11) again. The power

indicator (14) then goes out.

Please note that the fan heater consumes minimal electricity when in standby mode.

 In order to switch the fan heater off completely, it needs to be switched off from the main switch

(8).

Even when the main switch (8) off, the full mains voltage is live in the device. Only

unplugging the mains plug disconnects the fan heater completely.

8.2 Setting the heat level

Every time you switch it on using the button (11) , the fan heater starts up in with low heat output

To select a heat function, proceed as follows:

Press the “MODE” (18) button until the operating mode you want is shown on the display (10):

Low power: The fan heater works at 900 W - 1000 W.

High power: The fan heater works at 1800 W - 2000 W.

Automatic mode: The heat output is automatically adjusted to the room

temperature (33).

Frost-guard function: The fan heater switches on when the room

temperature (33) is at 6°C.

Fan function: In fan mode, the fan heater works without heating. Above the

actual temperature, the display (10) shows small flashing dashes.

8.3 Setting the temperature in automatic mode

In “Auto” mode, you can define a target temperature in order to achieve a virtually constant

temperature in the room heated.

The setting of the target temperature (34) is important for the operation of the fan heater.

The fan heater switches off when the set target temperature (34) is reached.

 Pressing the “+” button (12) increases the target temperature (34) to a value of maximum

38°C.

 Pressing the “-” button (13) decreases the target temperature (34) to a value of minimum 6°C.

The target temperature (34) set is shown on the display (10). The current room temperature (33) is

also shown on the display (10).

As soon as the room temperature (33) reaches the set target temperature (34), the fan heater

automatically switches off.

The fan heater automatically switches back on again when the room temperature (33) falls below

the set target temperature (34).

8.4 Setting the heating/ventilation time

The fan heater has a timer (32) which allows you to set the running time for the fan heater. The time

can be set between 1 minute and 23 hours 59 minutes.

The procedure for setting the running time is as follows:

 Press

the button (16). The hour display flashes.

 Set the hours using the “+” (12) and “-” (13) buttons. You can hold the relevant button pressed

down to make the numbers count faster.

 Then

press the button (16) again. The minute display flashes.

 Use the “+” (12) and “-” (13) buttons to set the minutes.

 Press

the button (16) again to start the timer (32). The remaining time is indicated on the

display (10).

At the end of the set running time, the fan heater switches off.

8.5 Swivel function

When the fan heater is switched on, the swivel function is always deactivated.

The built in swivel function allows the fan heater to swivel backwards and forwards and distribute

the air flow evenly around the room.

 Use the button (17) to switch the swivel function on or off.

If the swivel function is switched on, the display (10) shows “Osc” (27).

8.6 Frost-guard function

If the frost-guard function is activated, it makes sure that the temperature in a room does not fall

below 7°C. If the room temperature (33) falls to 7°C, the fan heater starts heating and switches off

again when the room temperature (33) reaches 9°C.

 To activate the frost-guard function, press the “MODE” button (18) until the display (10) shows

the symbol.

 To deactivate the frost-guard function, press the “MODE” button (18) once. The symbol

disappears and the fan heater reverts to fan mode.

8.7 Overheating protection

The fan heater is fitted with overheating protection which automatically switches off the heating

element in the event of internal overheating. The fan continues running to accelerate the cooling of

the fan heater. As soon as the fan heater has cooled down again, the heating element switches

back on automatically.

FIRE HAZARD!

The overheating protection does not normally trigger for no reason. Check the following:

 Can the fan heater emit heat without impairment?

 Is the fan heater too close to a wall or another object?

 Is the fan heater covered?

 Are the air inlet grille (6) and the air outlet grille (2) on the fan heater free?

 Is the fan blocked by a foreign body?

Confirm any obvious problems immediately or consult the manufacturer. If the overheating

protection triggers again without an obvious reason, there could be a technical fault. In

this case, stop using the fan heater and consult the manufacturer.

8.8 Tilt protection

The fan heater is fitted with a safety switch (4). This is on the base of the device. If the fan heater is

not straight or falls over, the safety switch (4) triggers automatically.

 Place the fan heater in an upright, safe position where the safety switch (4) is pressed.

 The fan heater does not switch back on automatically. Please select the function you want

again.

FIRE HAZARD! The safety switch (4) must not be tampered with or blocked in order to

operate the fan heater in a non-upright position.

9. Troubleshooting

The fan heater is not working

 Check that the mains plug is correctly inserted into the mains socket.

 Check whether the mains socket is live. If necessary, check the house fusebox.

 Check if the main switch (8) is switched on.

The fan heater is not heating.

 Check whether the target temperature (34) has already been reached.

 Check whether the fan heater is upright and the safety switch (4) is activated.

 Check whether the fan heater is in fan mode

 The internal overheating protection has been triggered. Allow the fan heater to cool and check

that the air inlet grille (6) and the air outlet grill (2) are free.

 The heating element is faulty. Contact customer service.

Cannot control the unit using the remote control (19).

 Point the remote control (19) directly at the control panel (1) of the fan heater. This is where the

infrared receiver (15) is. Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control (19)

and the fan heater.

 The distance between the fan heater and the remote control (19) could be too great. Reduce

the distance.

 The remote control (19) battery is empty. Insert a new CR2025 3V battery.

10. Maintenance/cleaning

10.1 Servicing

Servicing is required if the fan heater has been damaged in any way, for example, if

liquid has entered the product, if the fan heater has been exposed to rain or moisture, if

the fan heater is not working normally or if the product has been dropped. If you notice

any smoke, unusual noises or strange smells, switch off the fan heater immediately and

remove the mains plug from the mains socket. In these cases, the fan heater should no

longer be used until it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. All repairs must

be carried out by qualified service personnel. Never open the housing on the fan heater.

10.2 Cleaning

DANGER! Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket before you start to clean, there

is the risk of electric shock!

Clean the fan heater at regular intervals. To clean the fan heater, use a slightly damp cloth. Never

use any solvents or cleaners that may damage the plastic.

If the air inlet grille (6) or the air outlet grille (2) of the fan heater get dirty, you can also clean them

with a vacuum cleaner.

11. Storage when not in use

If the fan heater is to be left unused for a long period of time, unplug the power cable (9) from the

mains socket. You can wind the power cable (9) into coils and tie it together with the Velcro on the

power cable (9). Keep the fan heater in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

12. Environmental regulations and disposal information

Devices marked with this symbol are subject to the European Directive

2012/19/EU. All electrical and electronic devices must be disposed of separately

from household waste at official disposal centres. Proper disposal of old devices

prevents damage to the environment or your health. For further information about

proper disposal, contact your local council, recycling centre or the shop where you

bought the device.

Dispose of all packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Cardboard

packaging can be taken to paper recycling centres or public collection points for

recycling. Any film or plastic contained in the packaging should be taken to your

public collection points for disposal.

Please note the markings on the packaging material when disposing of it, it is

labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b), the meanings of which are as

follows:

Disposal of batteries

Respect the environment. Old batteries must not be disposed of with domestic

waste. They must be handed in at a collection point for waste batteries. Please

note that batteries must be disposed of fully discharged at appropriate collection

points for old batteries. To prevent any short circuits cover the battery poles of not

fully discharged batteries with insulating tape.

Warranty of TARGA GmbH

Dear Customer,

This device is sold with three years warranty from the date of purchase. In the event of product

defects, you have legal rights towards the seller. These statutory rights are not restricted by our

warranty as described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period commences upon the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a

safe place as it is required as proof of purchase. If any material or manufacturing faults occur within

three years of purchase of this product, we will repair or replace the product free of charge as we

deem appropriate.

Warranty period and legal warranty rights

The warranty period is not extended in the event of a warranty claim. This also applies to replaced

and repaired parts. Any damage or defects discovered upon purchase must be reported

immediately when the product has been unpacked. Any repairs required after the warranty period

will be subject to charge.

Scope of warranty

The device was carefully manufactured in compliance with stringent quality guidelines and

subjected to thorough testing before it left the works. The warranty applies to material and

manufacturing faults. This warranty does not cover product components which are subject to normal

wear and which can therefore be regarded as wearing parts, or damage to fragile components

Avant de l’utiliser, veuillez vous familiariser avec le fonctionnement du radiateur soufflant et lire ce

manuel d’utilisation avec la plus grande attention. Veillez à respecter les consignes de sécurité et

n’utilisez le radiateur soufflant que de la manière décrite dans le manuel d’utilisation et pour les

5. Instructions de sécurité

Avant d'utiliser le radiateur soufflant pour la première fois,

veuillez lire attentivement les remarques ci-dessous et tenir

compte de tous les avertissements, même si vous avez

l'habitude de manipuler des appareils électroniques. Conservez

ce manuel en lieu sûr afin de pouvoir vous y reporter à tout

moment. Si vous vendez ou cédez le radiateur soufflant à une

tierce personne, il est indispensable que vous lui remettiez

également ce manuel, qui fait partie intégrante du produit.

Consignes générales de sécurité

 Maintenez les enfants de moins de 3 ans à distance du

radiateur soufflant, à moins qu'ils soient sous surveillance

constante.

 Ce radiateur soufflant peut être utilisé par les enfants de plus

de 8 ans, par les personnes souffrant de handicaps

physiques, sensoriels ou mentaux, ou qui ne possèdent pas

les connaissances ou l’expérience nécessaires, à condition

qu’ils soient supervisés ou qu’ils aient reçu les instructions

nécessaires pour une bonne utilisation du radiateur soufflant

et qu’ils aient compris les risques existants. Les enfants ne

doivent pas jouer avec le radiateur soufflant. Le produit ne

doit pas être nettoyé ou entretenu par les enfants sans

surveillance.

 Les enfants de 3 à 8 ans ne peuvent allumer et éteindre le

radiateur soufflant que s'ils sont supervisés ou s'ils ont reçu

les instructions nécessaires pour l'utiliser en toute sécurité et

compris les dangers impliqués, à condition que celui-ci ait été

placé ou installé à son endroit normal d'utilisation.

 L'ingestion accidentelle des petites pièces peut être fatale.

Conservez l'emballage hors de portée des enfants ainsi que

des personnes handicapées. Risque d'asphyxie.

 Les enfants de 3 à 8 ans ne doivent pas insérer la fiche dans

la prise de courant, régler le radiateur soufflant, le nettoyer

ou réaliser toute autre opération d'entretien incombant à

l'utilisateur.

 Attention ! Certaines parties du radiateur soufflant peuvent

 Le radiateur soufflant ne doit pas être utilisé à proximité d'un

bassin, d'une baignoire, d'une douche ou d'une piscine car

des éclaboussures d'eau pourraient pénétrer dans l'appareil.

 S'il est endommagé ou ne fonctionne pas correctement, le

radiateur soufflant ne doit pas être utilisé afin d'éviter tout

dommage. Demandez à un centre d'assistance clientèle ou à

une personne qualifiée d'inspecter le radiateur soufflant et de

le réparer si nécessaire.

 Utilisez uniquement le radiateur soufflant à l'intérieur, et non,

par exemple, pour chauffer une voiture ou une tente.

 Ne couvrez jamais le radiateur soufflant avec du linge ou

d'autres objets pour les faire sécher. D'une manière

générale, pour éviter tout risque de surchauffe, le radiateur

soufflant ne doit jamais être couvert.

DANGER : risque d'électrocution !

 Branchez la fiche d’alimentation uniquement sur une prise de

courant facile d’accès. Le radiateur soufflant ne doit jamais

être placé juste en-dessous d'une prise de courant. Utilisez le

radiateur soufflant uniquement à la tension indiquée sur la

plaque signalétique !

 Le radiateur soufflant, le cordon d'alimentation (9) et la fiche

d'alimentation ne doivent pas être immergés dans de l'eau ou

d'autres liquides.

 Ne touchez jamais le cordon d'alimentation (9) ou le

radiateur soufflant avec les mains mouillées.

 Protégez le radiateur soufflant des gouttes d'eau et des

éclaboussures. Si du liquide pénètre dans le radiateur

soufflant, débranchez immédiatement la fiche d'alimentation

et faites inspecter ou réparer si nécessaire le radiateur

soufflant par un centre d'assistance clientèle ou un technicien

qualifié.

 Si le radiateur soufflant tombe dans l'eau, débranchez

immédiatement la fiche d'alimentation et, seulement après

l'avoir fait, retirez le radiateur soufflant de l'eau.

 Pour déconnecter correctement l’appareil du secteur, la fiche

d’alimentation doit être débranchée de la prise de courant.

Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon d'alimentation (9) pour

débrancher la fiche d'alimentation de la prise de courant.

Tirez toujours sur la fiche d'alimentation elle-même.

 Débranchez la fiche d'alimentation de la prise de courant si

le radiateur soufflant ne fonctionne pas correctement, n'est

pas utilisé, pendant les orages et lors de son nettoyage.

 Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation (9) ne puisse pas

être endommagé par des arêtes tranchantes ou des points

chauds.

 Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation (9) ne puisse pas

être écrasé ou aplati.

 Ne modifiez le radiateur soufflant en aucune manière.

 Si le cordon d’alimentation (9) se trouve endommagé, il doit

être remplacé par le fabricant, son centre d'assistance

clientèle ou un technicien qualifié, afin d’éviter tout danger

éventuel. N'utilisez jamais d'adaptateurs ou de rallonges et

ne modifiez pas le cordon d'alimentation (9) !

Risque d'incendie !

 Placez toujours le radiateur soufflant sur une surface plane et

résistante à la chaleur, à bonne distance des sources de

chaleur et matériaux combustibles, des liquides ou des gaz.

Laissez un espace libre d'au moins 1 m sur tous les côtés.

 Le radiateur soufflant n'est pas conçu pour être utilisé avec

une minuterie externe ou avec un système de commande à

distance séparé.

 Déroulez toujours complètement le cordon d'alimentation (9).

 Le radiateur soufflant ne doit pas être couvert et aucun objet

ne doit être inséré dans la grille d'entrée d'air (6) ou la grille

de sortie d'air (2) pour éviter toute surchauffe.

 Afin d'éviter l'accumulation de chaleur, l'air doit pouvoir

entrer et sortir librement de l'appareil.

 Lorsque l'appareil est en cours d'utilisation, les objets

inflammables tels que les rideaux ou le papier doivent être

tenus à distance du radiateur soufflant.

 Veillez à ne pas placer d'objets présentant un risque

d'incendie (par exemple, des bougies allumées) sur le

radiateur soufflant ou à proximité.

Risque de brûlure !

 Les surfaces du radiateur soufflant peuvent devenir très

chaudes lors de l'utilisation. Utilisez toujours la poignée (5)

pour tenir l'appareil.

 Le radiateur soufflant peut être encore très chaud, même

après avoir été éteint.

 Attendez toujours que le radiateur soufflant ait complètement

refroidi avant de procéder à son nettoyage.

 Attendez que l'appareil ait complètement refroidi avant de le

transporter. Utilisez toujours la poignée (5) pour le porter.

Risque de blessure

 En présence de fumée, d'odeur ou de bruits inhabituels,

débranchez immédiatement la fiche d'alimentation de la

prise de courant. Si une telle situation se produit, cessez

d’utiliser le radiateur soufflant et faites-le réviser par un

technicien agréé.

 Placez le cordon d'alimentation (9) de sorte que l'on ne

risque pas de trébucher dessus.

 Restez toujours à une distance suffisante du radiateur

soufflant pour être sûr que vos cheveux ou vêtements ne

soient pas aspirés dans ce dernier par le ventilateur.

DANGER lié aux piles

 Faites toujours attention de bien respecter la polarité lors de

l'insertion de la pile neuve. Lorsqu'elle est épuisée,

remplacez-la par une pile du même type. Risque

d'explosion !

 Les piles comportent un risque d'étouffement. Veillez donc à

les conserver hors de portée des enfants. En cas d'ingestion

accidentelle, consultez immédiatement un médecin.

 Les piles ne doivent pas être rechargées, démontées, jetées

au feu ou court-circuitées.

 Retirez immédiatement les piles épuisées afin d'éviter les

fuites.

 Si la pile fuit, évitez tout contact de l'acide avec les yeux, la

peau et les muqueuses. En cas de contact avec de l'acide,

rincez immédiatement les parties affectées avec une grande

quantité d'eau propre et consultez un médecin.

matériels

 N'essayez pas de faire tourner l'appareil à la main. Vous

pourriez endommager le moteur.

 N'utilisez pas de détergents abrasifs ou astringents.

7. Avant de commencer

Veuillez déballer le radiateur soufflant et retirer tous les matériaux d’emballage. Inspectez le

radiateur soufflant afin de détecter tout dommage éventuel. Si le radiateur soufflant est

endommagé, ne l’utilisez pas.

7.1 Télécommande / insertion de la pile

La télécommande (19) fournie peut être rangée dans le compartiment pour télécommande (7) du

radiateur soufflant lorsqu'elle n'est pas utilisée. Vous pouvez commander le radiateur soufflant de la

même manière depuis son panneau de commande (1) ou en utilisant la télécommande (19). Les

boutons situés sur le panneau de commande (1) et sur la télécommande (19) possèdent les mêmes

étiquettes et les mêmes fonctions.

La pile a déjà été insérée dans la télécommande (19). Retirez la bandelette en plastique

du compartiment de la pile afin d'activer la pile.

Si la batterie de la télécommande (19) est épuisée, remplacez-la par une pile neuve de type

CR2025 3 Volts. Pour ce faire, procédez comme suit :

 Poussez la languette de fermeture du support de pile de la télécommande (19) vers le centre

(Schéma A). Sortez le support de pile.

 Retirez la pile épuisée et insérez une pile neuve. Veillez à bien respecter la polarité (+/-).

 Repoussez le support de pile dans la télécommande (19) jusqu'à ce que la languette de

fermeture soit bien en place (vous entendrez un clic).

8. Mise en route

DANGER ! Lorsque l’appareil est allumé, la température des surfaces exposées peut être

très élevée. Elles présentent un risque de brûlure.

DANGER ! Déroulez toujours complètement le cordon d'alimentation (9). Dans le cas

contraire, un incendie pourrait se déclencher.

DANGER ! Installez l'appareil à une distance d'au moins un mètre des murs, meubles et

autres appareils. Dans le cas contraire, un incendie pourrait se déclencher.

Quand vous utilisez l’appareil pour la première fois, des odeurs ou une légère fumée

peuvent être dégagées. Ce phénomène est normal et ne présente aucun danger.

Cependant, assurez-vous que la ventilation est suffisante.

 Coupez l'interrupteur principal (8).

 Branchez la fiche d’alimentation sur une prise de courant facile d’accès.

Vous pouvez commander le radiateur soufflant de la même manière depuis son panneau de

commande (1) ou en utilisant la télécommande (19). Les boutons situés sur le panneau de

commande (1) et sur la télécommande (19) possèdent les mêmes étiquettes et les mêmes fonctions.

La description ci-dessous et les numéros de référence utilisés se réfèrent à l'utilisation du panneau

de commande (1).

8.1 Mise en marche et arrêt du radiateur soufflant

 Allumez l'interrupteur principal (8). L'interrupteur principal (8) et l'écran (10) s'allument. Le

symbole de la minuterie (32) clignote sur l'écran (10). Le radiateur soufflant est désormais en

mode veille et peut être commandé depuis le panneau de commande (1) ou la

télécommande (19).

 Pour utiliser le radiateur soufflant, appuyez sur le bouton (11).

Le voyant d'alimentation (14) devient rouge.

 Pour remettre le radiateur soufflant en mode veille, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton (11).

Le voyant d'alimentation (14) s’éteint alors.

Sachez que le radiateur soufflant consomme un peu d'électricité lorsqu’il est en veille.

 Pour éteindre complètement le radiateur soufflant, il faut le faire en coupant l'interrupteur

principal (8).

Mais même avec l'interrupteur principal (8) coupé, l'appareil reste alimenté en électricité.

Ce n'est qu'en débranchant la fiche d'alimentation que le radiateur soufflant sera

totalement déconnecté.

8.2 Réglage du niveau de chaleur

À chaque fois que vous l'allumez à l'aide du bouton (11) , le radiateur soufflant se met en marche avec une

faible puissance de chauffe .

Pour sélectionner une fonction de chauffage, procédez comme suit :

Appuyez sur le bouton « MODE » (18) jusqu'à ce que le mode de fonctionnement de votre choix

soit affiché sur l'écran (10) :

Puissance faible : le radiateur soufflant fonctionne à 900 W - 1000 W.

Puissance élevée : le radiateur soufflant fonctionne à 1800 W - 2000 W.

Mode automatique : la puissance calorifique est automatiquement

ajustée en fonction de la température de la pièce (33).

Fonction hors gel : le radiateur soufflant s'allume lorsque la température

de la pièce (33) atteint les 6 °C.

Fonction ventilateur : en mode ventilateur, le radiateur soufflant fonctionne sans

chauffer. Au-dessus de la température actuelle, l'écran (10) affiche de petits tirets qui

clignotent.

8.3 Réglage de la température en mode automatique

En mode « Auto », vous pouvez définir une température cible afin d'obtenir une température

pratiquement constante dans la pièce chauffée.

Le réglage de la température cible (34) est important pour le fonctionnement du radiateur

soufflant. Le radiateur soufflant s'éteint lorsque la température cible réglée (34) est

atteinte.

 Le fait d'appuyer sur le bouton « + » (12) permet d'augmenter la température cible (34) jusqu'à

une valeur maximale de 38 °C.

 Le fait d'appuyer sur le bouton « - » (13) permet de diminuer la température cible (34) jusqu'à

une valeur minimale de 6 °C.

La température cible (34) réglée est affichée sur l'écran (10). La température actuelle de la

pièce (33) est également affichée sur l'écran (10).

Dès que la température de la pièce (33) atteint la température cible réglée (34), le radiateur

soufflant s'éteint automatiquement.

Le radiateur soufflant se rallume automatiquement lorsque la température de la pièce (33) descend

en-dessous de la température cible réglée (34).

8.4 Réglage du temps de chauffage/ventilation

Le radiateur soufflant possède une minuterie (32) qui vous permet de régler le temps de

fonctionnement de ce dernier. Le temps peut être réglé entre 1 minute et 23 heures et 59 minutes.

La procédure de réglage du temps de fonctionnement est la suivante :

 Appuyez sur

le bouton (16). L’affichage des heures clignote.

 Réglez les heures à l'aide des boutons « + » (12) et « - » (13). Vous pouvez garder ces

boutons enfoncés pour accélérer le réglage.

 Ensuite,

appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton (16). L’affichage des minutes clignote.

 Utilisez les boutons « + » (12) et « - » (13) pour régler les minutes.

Vous pouvez garder ces

boutons enfoncés pour accélérer le réglage.

 Appuyez de nouveau sur

le bouton (16) pour lancer la minuterie (32). Le temps restant est

indiqué sur l'écran (10).

À la fin du temps de fonctionnement réglé, le radiateur soufflant s'éteint.

8.5 Fonction de rotation

Lorsque le radiateur soufflant est allumé, la fonction de rotation est toujours désactivée.

La fonction de rotation intégrée permet au radiateur soufflant de tourner vers l'avant et vers l'arrière

et de distribuer le flux d'air uniformément dans toute la pièce.

 Utilisez le bouton (17) pour activer ou désactiver la fonction de rotation.

Si la fonction de rotation est activée, l'écran (10) affiche l'indication « Osc » (27).

8.6 Fonction hors gel

Si la fonction hors gel est activée, elle assure que la température dans la pièce ne descendra pas

en-dessous de 7 °C. Si la température de la pièce (33) descend en-dessous de 7 °C, le radiateur

soufflant commence à chauffer puis s'éteint à nouveau lorsque la température de la pièce (33)

atteint 9 °C.

 Pour activer la fonction hors gel, appuyez sur le bouton « MODE » (18) jusqu'à ce que

l'écran (10) affiche le symbole .

 Pour désactiver la fonction hors gel, appuyez une fois sur le bouton « MODE » (18). Le

symbole disparaît et le radiateur soufflant repasse en mode ventilateur.

8.7 Protection contre la surchauffe

Le radiateur soufflant est équipé d'une protection contre la surchauffe qui éteint automatiquement la

résistance en cas de surchauffe interne. Le ventilateur continue de fonctionner pour accélérer le

refroidissement du radiateur soufflant. Dès que le radiateur soufflant a refroidi suffisamment, la

résistance est automatiquement rallumée.

RISQUE D’INCENDIE !

Normalement, la protection contre la surchauffe ne se déclenche pas sans raison.

érifiez

les aspects suivants :

 Le radiateur soufflant peut-il émettre de la chaleur sans être entravé ?

 Le radiateur soufflant est-il trop près d'un mur ou d'un autre objet ?

 Le radiateur soufflant est-il couvert ?

 La grille d'entrée d'air (6) et la grille de sortie d'air (2) situées sur le radiateur

soufflant sont-elles dégagées ?

 Le ventilateur est-il bloqué par un corps étranger ?

Vérifiez immédiatement s'il existe des problèmes apparents ou consultez le fabricant. Si la

protection contre la surchauffe se déclenche à nouveau sans raison apparente, il peut

s'agir d'une défaillance technique. Dans ce cas, arrêtez d'utiliser le radiateur soufflant et

consultez le fabricant.

8.8 Protection contre le basculement

Le radiateur soufflant est équipé d'un interrupteur de sécurité (4). Il est situé sur la base de

l'appareil. Si le radiateur soufflant n'est pas bien à niveau ou s'il tombe, l'interrupteur de sécurité (4)

se déclenche automatiquement.

 Placez le radiateur soufflant dans une position droite et sûre dans laquelle l'interrupteur de

sécurité (4) se trouve enfoncé.

 Le radiateur soufflant ne se rallume pas automatiquement. Veuillez sélectionnez de nouveau la

fonction de votre choix.

RISQUE D’INCENDIE ! L'interrupteur de sécurité (4) ne doit pas être manipulé ou

bloqué afin d'utiliser le radiateur soufflant dans une position qui n'est pas droite.

9. Résolution des problèmes

Le radiateur soufflant ne fonctionne pas.

 Vérifiez que la fiche d’alimentation est correctement insérée dans la prise de courant.

 Vérifiez que la prise de courant est bien alimentée. Si nécessaire, vérifiez la boîte à fusibles de

la maison.

 Vérifiez si l'interrupteur principal (8) est allumé.

Le radiateur soufflant ne chauffe pas.

 Vérifiez si la température cible (34) a déjà été atteinte.

 Vérifiez si le radiateur soufflant est bien à niveau et si l'interrupteur de sécurité (4) est activé.

 Vérifiez si le radiateur soufflant est en mode ventilateur.

 La protection contre la surchauffe interne s'est déclenchée. Laissez le radiateur soufflant

refroidir et vérifiez que la grille d'entrée d'air (6) et la grille de sortie d'air (2) ne sont pas

obstruées.

 La résistance est défectueuse. Contactez le centre d'assistance clientèle.

Impossible de commander l'appareil avec la télécommande (19).

 Orientez la télécommande (19) en direction du panneau de commande (1) du radiateur

soufflant. C'est là que se trouve le récepteur infrarouge (15). Vérifiez l’absence d’obstacles

entre la télécommande (19) et le radiateur soufflant.

 Il se peut que la distance entre le radiateur soufflant et la télécommande (19) soit trop grande.

Réduire la distance.

 La pile de la télécommande (19) est épuisée. Insérez une pile CR2025 3 V neuve.

10. Entretien/nettoyage

10.1 Réparation

Des réparations sont nécessaires si le radiateur soufflant a été endommagé, par exemple

si du liquide a pénétré à l’intérieur de l’appareil, si ce dernier a été exposé à la pluie ou à

l’humidité, s’il ne fonctionne pas normalement ou s’il est tombé. En cas de fumée, d’odeur

ou de bruit inhabituel, éteignez immédiatement le radiateur soufflant et débranchez-le de

la prise de courant. Si de telles situations se produisent, cessez d’utiliser le radiateur

soufflant et faites-le réviser par un technicien agréé. Toutes les réparations doivent

10.2 Nettoyage

DANGER ! Débranchez la fiche d’alimentation de la prise de courant avant de

commencer à nettoyer l’appareil, afin d’éviter tout risque d’électrocution !

DANGER ! Attendez que le radiateur soufflant ait refroidi. Sinon, vous risqueriez de vous

brûler !

Nettoyez le radiateur soufflant à intervalles réguliers. Pour nettoyer le radiateur soufflant, utilisez un

chiffon légèrement humide. N’utilisez jamais de solvants ou de détergents qui pourraient

endommager le plastique.

Si la grille d'entrée d'air (6) ou la grille de sortie d'air (2) du radiateur soufflant est sale, vous

pouvez également les nettoyer à l'aide d'un aspirateur.

11. Stockage en cas de non-utilisation

DANGER !

brûler ou un incendie pourrait se déclencher !

Si vous n'utilisez pas le radiateur soufflant pendant une période prolongée, débranchez le cordon

d'alimentation (9) de la prise de courant. Vous pouvez enrouler le cordon d'alimentation (9) et

l'attacher avec la bande Velcro se trouvant sur ce dernier. Rangez le radiateur soufflant dans un

endroit propre et sec à l'abri des rayons directs du soleil.

12. Réglementation environnementale et informations sur la mise

au rebut

Les appareils portant ce symbole sont soumis à la directive

européenne 2012/19/EU. Les appareils électriques ou électroniques usagés ne

doivent en aucun cas être jetés avec les déchets ménagers, mais déposés dans des

centres de collecte officiels. En respectant les normes d’élimination des appareils

usagés, vous participez activement à la protection de l’environnement et préservez

votre santé. Pour plus d’informations sur les normes d’élimination en vigueur,

contactez votre mairie, votre centre de recyclage local ou le magasin où vous

avez acheté l’appareil.

Les matériaux d’emballage doivent être mis au rebut de manière respectueuse de

l'environnement. Les cartons d’emballage peuvent être déposés dans des centres

de recyclage du papier ou dans des points de collecte publics destinés au

recyclage. Tous les films ou plastiques contenus dans l’emballage doivent être

déposés dans des points de collecte publics.

Veuillez tenir compte des marquages présents sur le matériau d'emballage lors de

sa mise au rebut. Il comporte des abbréviations (a) et des numéros (b), qui ont la

signification suivante :

1–7 : plastique / 20–22 : papier et carton / 80-98 : matériaux composites

Le produit est recyclable, il est soumis à la responsabilité du fabricant et doit être

collecté séparément.

Mise au rebut des piles usagées

Respectez l’environnement. Les piles/batteries usagées ne doivent pas être jetées

avec les déchets ménagers mais déposées dans des points de collecte

spécialement habilités à cet effet. Sachez que les piles/batteries doivent être

complètement déchargées avant d'être mises au rebut dans des points de collecte

appropriés pour les piles/batteries usagées. Afin d'éviter tout risque de court-

circuit, recouvrez de ruban isolant les bornes des piles qui ne sont pas entièrement

déchargées.

Cet appareil a été testé et certifié conforme aux exigences de base et aux autres

exigences de la directive sur la compatibilité électromagnétique 2014/30/EU, de

la directive concernant les appareils basse tension 2014/35/EU et de la directive

La garantie accordée sur ce produit est de trois ans à partir de la date d'achat. En cas de vice sur

ce produit, vous disposez de droits que vous pouvez faire valoir vis-à-vis du vendeur du produit.

L’exercice de ces droits n’est pas limité par notre garantie exposée ci-après.

Conditions de garantie

La période de garantie commence à la date d’achat. Merci de conserver soigneusement le ticket

de caisse d’origine. Il vous sera demandé comme preuve d’achat. Si un vice matériel ou de

fabrication survient dans les trois ans qui suivent la date d’achat de ce produit, le produit sera

réparé ou remplacé gratuitement, le choix restant à notre discrétion.

Période de garantie et droits résultant de vices

La période de garantie n’est pas prolongée en cas de son exercice. La même chose s’applique

pour les pièces remplacées et réparées. Les dégâts et vices éventuellement présents dès l’achat

doivent être signalés immédiatement dès le déballage. Une fois la période de garantie écoulée,

toute réparation est payante.

Prestations incluses dans la garantie

L’appareil a été fabriqué selon des directives qualité strictes et a été soigneusement contrôlé avant

d’être livré. La garantie s’applique aux défauts matériels ou de fabrication. Cette garantie ne

s'étend pas aux pièces soumises à une usure normale et qui peuvent donc être considérées comme

des pièces d’usure, ni aux dégâts sur les pièces fragiles comme p. ex. les interrupteurs, les piles

rechargeables ou les pièces en verre. Cette garantie est invalidée si le produit est endommagé, est

utilisé ou entretenu de manière inappropriée. Pour assurer une utilisation conforme du produit,

toutes les instructions indiquées dans le mode d’emploi doivent être soigneusement respectées. Les

utilisations et manipulations non conseillées dans le mode d’emploi ou qui font l’objet d’un

avertissement doivent impérativement être évitées. Ce produit est destiné exclusivement à une

utilisation privée et non commerciale. La garantie prend fin en cas de manipulation abusive et

inappropriée, de recours à la force et d'interventions qui ne sont pas effectuées par notre service

technique autorisé. La réparation ou le remplacement du produit ne prolonge pas d'autant la

période de garantie.

Processus d’application de la garantie

Afin de permettre un traitement rapide de votre demande, nous vous prions de suivre les indications

suivantes :

jointe. Si un problème survient qui ne peut être résolu de cette manière, merci de vous

- S’il est impossible d’apporter une solution par téléphone, notre assistance téléphonique

organisera une intervention technique en fonction de l’origine de la panne.

Indépendamment de la garantie commerciale souscrite, le vendeur reste tenu des défauts de

conformité du bien et des vices rédhibitoires dans les conditions prévues aux articles L217-4 à

L217-13 du Code de la consommation et aux articles 1641 à 1648 et 2232 du Code Civil.

Article L217-16 du Code de la consommation

Lorsque l‘acheteur demande au vendeur, pendant le cours de la garantie commerciale qui lui a été

consentie lors de l‘acquisition ou de la réparation d‘un bien meuble, une remise en état couverte

par la garantie, toute période d‘immobilisation d‘au moins sept jours vient s‘ajouter à la durée de

la garantie qui restait à courir. Cette période court à compter de la demande d‘intervention de

l‘acheteur ou de la mise à disposition pour réparation du bien en cause, si cette mise à disposition

est postérieure à la demande d‘intervention.

Article L217-4 du Code de la consommation

Le vendeur livre un bien conforme au contrat et répond des défauts de conformité existant lors de

la délivrance.

Il répond également des défauts de conformité résultant de l‘emballage, des instructions de

montage ou de l‘installation lorsque celle-ci a été mise à sa charge par le contrat ou a été réalisée

sous sa responsabilité.

Article L217-5 du Code de la consommation

Le bien est conforme au contrat :

1° S´il est propre à l‘usage habituellement attendu d‘un bien semblable et, le cas échéant :

- s‘il correspond à la description donnée par le vendeur et posséder les qualités que

celui-ci a présentées à l‘acheteur sous forme d‘échantillon ou de modèle ;

- s‘il présente les qualités qu‘un acheteur peut légitimement attendre eu égard aux

déclarations publiques faites par le vendeur, par le producteur ou par son

représentant, notamment dans la publicité ou l‘étiquetage ;

2° Ou s‘il présente les caractéristiques définies d‘un commun accord par les parties ou être propre

à tout usage spécial recherché par l‘acheteur, porté à la connaissance du vendeur et que ce

dernier a accepté.

L‘action résultant du défaut de conformité se prescrit par deux ans à compter de la délivrance du

bien.

Article 1641 du Code civil

Le vendeur est tenu de la garantie à raison des défauts cachés de la chose vendue qui la rendent

impropre à l‘usage auquel on la destine, ou qui diminuent tellement cet usage que l‘acheteur

ne l‘aurait pas acquise, ou n‘en aurait donné qu‘un moindre prix, s‘il les avait connus.

Article 1648 1er alinéa du Code civil

L‘action résultant des vices rédhibitoires doit être intentée par l‘acquéreur dans un délai de deux

ans à compter de la découverte du vice.

Les pièces détachées indispensables à l’utilisation du produit sont disponibles

pendant la durée de la garantie du produit.
