TYPEPLAATJE
Op (zie afbeelding als voorbeeld) het apparaat bevindt zich het
typeplaatje. Er wordt verzocht deze niet te verwijderen. Aan de hand van
het typeplaatje kan bijvoorbeeld worden achterhaald wanneer het
apparaat is aangeschaft (zie PO) en uit welke productielijn (zie SN) deze
voortkomt. Deze informatie kan essentieel zijn met betrekking tot
bijvoorbeeld de garantie. Ook bevat het belangrijke informatie zoals de
spanning en het vermogen om het apparaat veilig aan te kunnen sluiten.
TRANSPORT EN OPSLAG:
INDOOR
USE ONLY
Tijdens transport moet het apparaat te allen tijde zorgvuldig worden verpakt en mag het niet
blootstaan aan sterke trillingen of verschuivingen.
Sla het ingepakte apparaat op in een goed geventileerde ruimte zonder corrosieve gassen.
Plaats het nooit ondersteboven en bescherm het tegen regen als u het door omstandigheden
een korte tijdsduur buiten moet opslaan.
VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN EN GEBRUIKSOMGEVING:
1. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal en eventueel aanwezig beschermfolie van het apparaat.
2. Plaats het apparaat waterpas op een stevige en goed geventileerde ondergrond, met links en rechts ten
minste 10 cm vrije ruimte en aan de achterkant ten minste 20 cm vrije ruimte (tot bijv. de muur).
3. Plaats het apparaat niet op tapijt, theedoek, een tafelkleed (vinyl) of een andere ondergrond die niet
bestand is tegen hoge temperaturen.
4. Voorkom blokkade van het ventilatierooster.
5. De directe omgeving van het apparaat kan gedurende het gebruik zeer heet zijn.
Dit betreft niet alleen het oppervlakte boven de friteuse, maar ook de voor, achter en twee zijkanten.
6. De voedingsspanning van het apparaat moet overeenkomen met de spanning van het stroomnet
(230Volt/50Hz).
7. De gebruiker moet een geschikte voedingsschakelaar, zekering en aardlekschakelaar installeren in
de buurt van het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat de schakelaar altijd goed bereikbaar blijft, zodat hij
gemakkelijk te bedienen is of er in geval van gevaar direct actie kan worden ondernomen.
8. Het apparaat moet worden aangesloten op een geaard stopcontact.
Controleer dit voordat u begint.
9. Stop de stekker nooit met natte handen in het stopcontact.
10. Stop de stekker nooit in een verlengsnoer of stopcontact waar meerdere apparaten op aangesloten zijn.

11. Indien de stekker niet goed aansluit op het stopcontact, mag u deze uit veiligheidsvoorzorgen hier niet
op aansluiten.
12. Voordat u het apparaat in werking zet dient u te controleren of het apparaat beschadigd is en of alle
benodigde onderdelen aanwezig zijn.
13. Controleer altijd of de aansluitingen van alle elektrische onderdelen van het apparaat stevig vastzitten.
14. Als de stroomkabel vervangen moet worden, moet dit worden uitgevoerd door een vakman.
De kabel dient te worden vervangen door eenzelfde/gelijke kabel.
15. Laat reparaties van het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door een professionele (erkende)
elektro-installateur.
16. Als u iets abnormaals constateert, dient u het apparaat direct uit te schakelen en wellicht uw
servicemonteur te contacteren. Na het controleren en/of verhelpen van het probleem kunt u weer
verdergaan.
17. Gebruik bij reparatie geen onderdelen anders dan die CaterChef standaard meelevert en dus niet van
CaterChef afkomstig zijn. CaterChef neemt geen verantwoordelijkheid voor schade toegebracht aan het
apparaat door gebruik van de ’verkeerde’ onderdelen.
18. Houdt kinderen te allen tijde buiten de directe omgeving van het apparaat,
dit om met name de kans op gevaar en brandwonden te voorkomen.
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:
Let op! Zorg dat de friteuse niet oververhit kan raken en verwarm de friteuse daarom nooit in lege
toestand. Dit kan het apparaat direct en serieus beschadigen en daarom gevaarlijke situaties creëren.
ONTVETTEN:
1. Voordat u het apparaat in werking stelt dient u het van binnen schoon te maken met een natte doek
en een kleine hoeveelheid schoonmaakmiddel. Spoel de bak nooit af onder de kraan, dit kan de
elektrische onderdelen ernstig beschadigen. Zorg bovendien dat voordat u het apparaat in werking
stelt, u het goed heeft afgedroogd.
2. Plaats de onderdelen terug in het apparaat en vul de bak met frituurvet.
REGULIER GEBRUIK:
1. Verlaat de omgeving van het apparaat nooit gedurende gebruik.
(Onder gebruik valt ook de afkoelperiode).
2. Verplaats het apparaat nooit gedurende gebruik.
3. Raak de binnenpan nooit aan gedurende gebruik.
4. Het apparaat dient alleen te worden gebruikt waarvoor het is ontworpen.
5. Na gebruik of indien u het apparaat en zijn omgeving wil verlaten, dient het apparaat te worden
uitgeschakeld. (Gebruik hiervoor de schakelaar, die u op de voorzijde van het apparaat kunt vinden).
6. Trek bij ontkoppeling van het apparaat van het stroomnet, nooit aan het snoer, maar uitsluitend aan de
stekker.
7. Laat om enig (brand)gevaar te voorkomen de stekker na gebruik nooit in het stopcontact zitten,
8. Wanneer u het apparaat verplaats, dient u dit te doen door het apparaat aan de onderzijde op te
tillen.
GEBRUIKSINSTRUCTIES
1. Vul de frituurbak met olie. Vul de frituurpan niet hoger dan het maximaal niveau zoals is aangegeven
aan de binnenzijde van de frituurpan.
2. 1) Stop de stekker in het stopcontact, het groene lampje zal gaan branden.
2) Draai de thermostaat rechtsom en zet deze op de door u gewenste temperatuur.
Het gele indicatielampje zal gaan branden. De elementen zullen heet worden en de olie zal op
temperatuur gaan komen.

1. 1) Wanneer de olie de gewenste temperatuur heeft bereikt, zal de thermostaat zich automatisch
uitschakelen.
2) Wanneer de olie weer onder de gewenste temperatuur daalt, zal de thermostaat automatisch
aanslaan totdat de gewenste temperatuur weer is bereikt.
Het gele indicatie lampje zal weer aangaan.
3) De friteuse zal dit herhaaldelijk blijven doen teneinde de juiste temperatuur te behouden.
4. De deksel is ontworpen om de frituurpan hygiënisch af te sluiten. Wanneer de hete frituurpan wordt
afgesloten let er dan op dat er geen condensvorming plaats vindt onder de deksel zodat er geen vocht
in de hete olie valt.
5. Na gebruik zet de thermostaat op nul en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
6. Ververs of verschoon de olie alleen wanneer deze is afgekoeld. Doe het volgende:
1) Als eerste, haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2) Verwijder frituurmand en kruimelrooster
3) Haal daarna de elementunit uit de behuizing
4) Nu kan de frituurpan goed worden schoongemaakt.
7. Om de levensduur te verlengen is het noodzakelijk regelmatig alle onderdelen goed schoon te maken.
Dit betreft de buitenzijde van de elementunit, de buitenmantel, frituurmand en de frituurpan.
8. De friteuse beschikt over een maximaalbeveiliging. Deze komt in werking wanneer
de olie temperatuur over de toegestane waarde gaat van 230°C.
Als deze wordt ingeschakeld, laat de friteuse afkoelen en druk de maximaal beveiliging na de
afkoelingsperiode weer in om de friteuse weer in gebruik te stellen.
9. Voor extra veiligheid is er een micro-switch gemonteerd aan de onderzijde van de elementunit.
Deze zorgt ervoor dat de elementunit alleen ingeschakeld kan worden wanneer deze op de juiste wijze
wordt geplaatst. Wordt de elementunit verwijderd dan zal het element niet functioneren.
10. Verschoon de frituurolie regelmatig. Dit voorkomt overkoken en bevorderd de kwaliteit van het voedsel.
WAARSCHUWING!
• Zorg er voor bij ingebruikname dat handen, stekker en schakelaars droog zijn.
• De frituurolie mag niet onder het minimum niveau komen zoals is aangeven aan de
binnenzijde van de
frituurpan.
• Spoel de elementunit nooit af onder de kraan.
• Gebruik nooit oude olie, dit voorkomt zgn. “overkoken”. Dit is ook zeer slecht voor de gezondheid.
• Zorg ervoor dat de te frituren producten niet nat zijn, of dat er geen omringende ijskristallen aan het
product hangen. Wanneer dit wel is kunnen er ernstige ongelukken gebeuren.
PROBLEEM OPLOSSINGEN
Probleem: Oorzaak: Oplossing:

Het bovenstaande is ter indicatie. Mochten er problemen voordoen ga nooit zelf
zoeken naar het probleem, maar laat deskundig personeel zoeken naar de oorzaak.

SCHOONMAKEN EN ONDERHOUD:
Stap 1: Na gebruik dient het apparaat eerst te worden uitgeschakeld, waarna u de strekker uit het
stopcontact dient te verwijderen. Doe dit, te allen tijde, in de beschreven volgorde. Dit voorkomt
kortsluiting of ander mogelijk gevaar.
Stap 2: Wacht tot het apparaat volledig is afgekoeld.
Stap 3: Verwijder het lekrooster.
Stap 4: Maak het apparaat van binnen en buiten schoon met een natte doek en een kleine hoeveelheid
reinigingsmiddel en droog het vervolgens zorgvuldig af. Gebruik geen wasbenzine, verdunner,
schuurborstel of polijstpoeder om de inductiefriteuse schoon te maken.
• Let op! Spoel het apparaat niet af met water. (Houdt het niet onder de kraan).
Dit kan het apparaat en zijn onderdelen beschadigen en dit kan leiden tot gevaar.
• Reinig het apparaat nooit met een rvs-borstel. Dit veroorzaakt krassen en beschadigd het apparaat.
• Bewaar het apparaat binnen en droog.
• Zorg dat voordat u het apparaat wilt onderhouden, de stekker uit het stopcontact is verwijderd.
Als het apparaat niet werkt of is beschadigd, controleer dan het volgende:
1. Of de stekker in het stopcontact zit;
2. Of de stekker en/of het snoer beschadigd zijn.
Indien het probleem nummer 2 betreft of indien er een ander probleem optreed, dient u contact op te
nemen met uw lokale dealer of erkende servicemonteur.
Volgens de richtlijn betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (AEEA) moet
AEEA gescheiden ingezameld en verwerkt worden. Als dit product in de toekomst ooit afgedankt
moet worden, doe dit dan NIET via het huishoudelijk afval. Breng dit product indien mogelijk
naar een afvalstation.

TYPE PLATE
There is a type plate (the picture is an example) on the device. You are
requested not to remove it.
The type plate can for example be used to determine, when the item was
purchased (view PO) and from which production line (view SN) it
originates. This information may be essential with regard to warranty.
It also contains important information such as the voltage and power
supply which determines the ability to connect the device safe.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE:
INDOOR
USE ONLY
As long as the products are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down.
This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully.
Make sure you prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store
this product outside or in open air for a longer period of time than a few hours
(not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive
gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take
measures to protect them from rain or moisture.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT:
1. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device.
2. This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should
be free from obstacles for more than 10cm. It’s back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a brick
wall etc) for more than 20cm.
3. The supply voltage of the device (230 Volt/50Hz/1Ph) must be compressed with the voltage of the
mains.
4. The user should install the suitable power switch, fuse and leakage-protector near to the equipment.
5. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at
any time needed. This is a safety instruction.
6. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another surface that cannot
withstand high temperatures. This could cause fire hazard.
7. Avoid blockings of the ventilation grille.
8. Be carefull. The immediate vicinity of the device can be very hot during use.
This concerns not only the surface above the fryer, but also the front, back, left and right side.

9. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.
Before starting up, you should check whether the socket you want to use is grounded.
10. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands. This is very dangerous.
11. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are
connected.
12. If the plug does not connect properly to the socket, it may not be connected for safety reasons.
13. Before usage you should check whether all components are available and whether the appliance is not
damaged.
14. Make sure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not, and
whether the safety grounding is reliable or not.
15. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model.
16. Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterChef.
CaterChef is not taking any responsibilty for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.
17. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the appliance, do not do this by yourself. This is forbidden.
This must always be done by a professional electrician.
18. You are able to adjust the temperature to the required degree scale to let the food reach the ideal
cooking temperature.
19. If there are any abnormal phenomenon’s during usage, you must turn off the appliance immediately.
Please contact your local dealer in case of doubt about the product it’s safety. Do not repair the
appliance by yourself. This should always be done by a technical professional.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
Pay attention! Ensure that the fryer cannot overheat and therefore never heat the fryer when empty. This
could immediately and seriously damage the device and therefore create dangerous situations.
DEGREASE:
1. Before operating for the first time, clean the device from the inside (including the lid) with a wet cloth
and a small amount of detergent. Do not rinse the appliance under the tap, this could cause serious
damage to the appliance. In addition, make sure that you have dried it properly before you start
operating the device.
2. Replace the parts (such as the grid) and fill the gastronorm sized pan with frying-oil.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Never leave the area around the appliance during use.
(Use also includes the cooling down period).
2. Never move the appliance during use.
3. Never touch the inner pan during use.
4. The device should only be used for its intended purpose.
5. Cooling down: After usage (and after turning thermostat back to 0 and turning the switch OFF), the
appliance needs to cool down for a minimum time of 30 minutes. To prevent any burning injuries or
other danger, do not touch, move or use the appliance during this period of time.
6. After usage, turn off the switch.
7. After usage the electricity needs to be cut from the socket to prevent fire hazard.
This to prevent short circuit or danger.
8. When you move the product from its place, always pick it up from the lower side of the appliance.
Never pick it up from the upper side to prevent any damage to the appliance.
USER INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fill the deep fryer with oil. Do not fill the fryer higher than the maximum level as indicated on the inside
of the fryer.
2. 1) Put the plug in the wall socket, the green light will go on.
2) Turn the thermostat clockwise and set it to the desired temperature.
The yellow indicator light will go on. The elements will get hot and the oil will heat up.

3. 1) When the oil has reached the desired temperature, the thermostat will automatically turn off.
2) When the oil drops below the desired temperature again, the thermostat will automatically turn on
until the desired temperature is reached.
3) This process will continue constantly to maintain the correct temperature.
4. The lid is designed to hygienically close the fryer. When closing the hot fryer, make sure that there is no
condensation under the lid so that no moisture falls into the hot oil.
5. After use, set the thermostat to zero and unplug the power cord.
6. Change the oil when it has cooled down.
1) Do the following:First, unplug the power cord.
2) Remove the frying basket and crumb grid.
3) Then remove the element-unit from the fryer’s base.
4) The fryer can now be cleaned properly.
7. To extend the lifetime of the fryer it is necessary to clean all parts regularly. This concerns the outside of
the element unit, the outside jacket, frying basket and the frying pan.
8. The fryer has a maximum-protection. It comes into effect when the oil it’s temperature exceeds the
permitted value of 230°C.
When it is turned on, allow the fryer to cool down and then press the maximum protection to return the
fryer to service.
9. For extra safety, a micro-switch is mounted on the bottom of the element unit. This ensures that the
element unit can only be switched on if it is placed correctly. If the element unit is removed, the element
cannot be heated.
10. Change the cooking oil regularly to strive to the most healthy food and to prevent the fryer from boiling-
over.
WARNING!
• When operating, hands, plug and switch must be dry.
• Oil should not be lower than the minimum indicated level.
• Do not use water to wash the electric terminal box directly.
• Do not use old oil to fry for it may cause over boiling.
• Do not fry food too wet as it may cause accidents.
TROUBLESHOOTING.
Problem: Causes: Solution:

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the
socket. Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Wait until the device has cooled down completely.
Step 3: Remove the grid.
Step 4: Clean the in- and outside of the device with a wet cloth and a small amount of cleaning-detergent
and then dry it thoroughly. Do not use benzine, thinner, scouring brush or polishing powder to
clean the induction fryer.
• Pay attention! Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap).
This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations;
• Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device;
• Use a vacuum cleaner to (gently) remove dirt and debris from the air-ventilation-grille;
• Always store the appliance inside and keep it dry;
• Before maintaining the appliance, always make sure you have removed the plug from the socket.
If the appliance does not work or is damaged, check the following:
1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
2. Whether the plug and / or the cord is damaged.
If it is nr. 2 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.
According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be
separately collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product
please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE
collecting points where available.
