Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungs-

anleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicher-

heit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des

Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das

Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen

Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Gerät ist vorgesehen zum Haarstyling von Personen und ausschließlich

zur Verwendung im privaten Bereich.

Es ist nicht vorgesehen zur Verwendung an Tieren und nicht in gewerblichen oder

industriellen Bereichen.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungs-

gemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer

Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte

Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 110 – 240 V ∼,

50/60 Hz an.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort

von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice

austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät

reinigen den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.

► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verle-

gen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder

darüber stolpern kann.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass

oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt

oder beschädigt werden kann.

► Sollte das Gerät beschädigt sein, benutzen Sie es auf keinen

Fall weiter, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen

Sie es vor Beschädigungen.

► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall der

Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.

► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen

Händen an.

► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen

und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen

lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen

und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das

Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des

Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von qualiﬁ-

ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!

► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Strom-

netz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose

ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass niemals Gegenstände in das Gerät

gelangen können, insbesondere nicht metallische Haarklam-

mern, Clips oder Haarnadeln.

► Wenn das Gerät im Badezimmer verwendet wird, ist nach Ge-

brauch der Netzstecker zu ziehen, da die Nähe von Wasser

eine Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

Dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Badewannen, Dusch-

wannen oder anderen Gefäßen benutzen, die Wasser

enthalten. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar,

auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Als zusätzlicher

Schutz wird Ihnen die Installation einer Fehlerstromschutzein-

richtung mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht

mehr als 30 mA im Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen.

Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um Rat.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.

► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen

und schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Beschädigungen.

► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen

Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät

von qualiﬁziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenen-

falls reparieren.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öﬀnen oder repa-

rieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und

die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät

nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Die Geräteteile können im Betrieb heiß werden. Fassen Sie

daher nur den Handgriﬀ und die Tasten an.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Per-

sonen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder menta-

len Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wis-

sen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich

des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden

und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und

die Wartung durch den Benutzer dürfen nicht durch Kinder

durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.

► Schalten Sie das Gerät niemals an, wenn die Schutzkappe

aufgesetzt ist.

► Setzen Sie niemals die Schutzkappe auf, solange das Gerät

noch heiß ist.

► Verwenden Sie nur die mitgelieferten Original-Zubehörteile,

weil diese für das Zusammenwirken mit dem Gerät optimiert

sind. Andere Teile sind möglicherweise nicht ausreichend sicher.

► Halten Sie die Öﬀnungen für den Lufteintritt und Luftaustritt

frei für eine ungehinderte Luftströmung. Sonst kann das Gerät

überhitzen.

► Seien Sie vorsichtig mit Haarspray, Wasserzerstäuber usw.

Zum einen kann es sein, dass Ihnen der Luftzug diese Mittel

vielleicht direkt in die Augen bläst. Zum anderen dürfen diese

aber auch nicht in das Gerät gelangen – weil sie vielleicht

brennbar, aggressiv oder leitfähig sein könnten.

Auspacken

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem

Karton.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

WARNUNG! ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen von Kindern nicht zum Spielen verwendet

werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs-

materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts-

punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀe und

verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungs-

materialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht.

Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien

und trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien

sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen (a) und Ziﬀern (b) mit folgender Bedeutung:

1–7: Kunststoﬀe,

20–22: Papier und Pappe,

80–98: Verbundstoﬀe.

Inbetriebnahme

■ Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass ...

– das Gerät oder die Zubehörteile in einwandfreiem Zustand sind,

– alle Verpackungsmaterialien und ggf. Schutzfolien vom Gerät entfernt

sind.

Haare vorbereiten

♦ Die Haare müssen frei von jeglichen Styling- oder Pﬂegeprodukten sein.

Ausgenommen hiervon ist ein Hitzeschutzspray.

♦ Die Haare müssen trocken sein.

♦ Die Haare müssen gekämmt und frei von Knoten sein.

Bedienen

HINWEIS

► Beim ersten Gebrauch kann es zu leichter Geruchsbildung kommen. Das ist

normal und der Geruch verschwindet nach kurzer Zeit.

Einstellungen

HINWEIS

► Bis auf das Drücken der Taste Release und der Taste Start 1wird jeder

Tastendruck mit einem Signalton bestätigt.

1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Ein Signalton ertönt und

im Display erscheint OFF.

2) Drücken Sie die Taste Ein/Aus .. Ein Signalton ertönt und im Display

blinkt die Anzeige Temperatur . Die eingestellte Temperatur blinkt mehr-

mals auf, bevor die aktuelle Temperatur angezeigt wird. Das Gerät heizt nun

auf, die aktuelle Temperatur steigt. Sobald die eingestellte Temperatur er-

reicht ist, erklingen 2 Signaltöne und die Anzeige Temperatur  wird dauer-

haft angezeigt.

HINWEIS

► Die eingestellte Temperatur kann immer wieder kurz überschritten werden

und danach wieder abfallen. Das liegt daran, dass das Gerät die einge-

stellte Temperatur versucht zu halten und immer wieder nachheizt.

3) Drücken Sie die Taste Temperatur

 so oft, bis die gewünschte Tempe-

ratur im Display erscheint. Die Temperatur ist abhängig von Ihrem Haartyp:

130 °C sehr feines, strapaziertes und geschädigtes Haar

150 °C feines Haar

170 °C normales Haar

190 °C gewelltes Haar

210 °C kräftiges oder gewelltes Haar

230 °C kräftiges, gelocktes Haar

HINWEIS

► Falls Sie sich nicht sicher sind, welche Temperatur für Ihr Haar ideal ist,

steigern Sie die Temperatur langsam. Fangen Sie mit einer niedrigen Tem-

peratur an und steigern Sie die Temperatur so oft, bis Sie mit dem Ergebnis

zufrieden sind.

4) Drücken Sie die Taste Drehrichtung 6 so oft, bis die gewünschte Dreh-

richtung der Locken eingestellt ist:

5) Drücken Sie die Taste Umdrehungen

, um die Anzahl der Umdrehun-

gen festzulegen. Die eingestellte Anzahl können Sie in der Anzeige Umdre-

hungen  ablesen. Die Anzahl der Umdrehungen richtet sich nach der

Länge der Haare:

HINWEIS

► Der Durchmesser/die Größe der Locken bleibt immer gleich!

6) Je nach Beschaﬀenheit Ihrer Haare und der gewünschten Intensität der Lo-

cken, wählen Sie die Zeit aus, in der die Haarsträhne auf der Rolle  ver-

bleiben und erhitzt werden soll.

Für leichte Wellen wählen Sie eher eine kurze Zeit. Für festere Locken wählen

Sie eine möglichst lange Zeit. Beachten Sie dabei, dass dicke Haare eine

längere Zeit benötigen als dünne Haare, um zum gleichen Ergebnis zu kom-

men.

Sie haben nun alle nötigen Einstellungen vorgenommen. Sie können jederzeit die

Einstellungen durch Drücken der jeweiligen Taste ändern, wenn Sie merken, dass

die Zeit/Temperatur/Umdrehungsanzahl für Ihr Haar nicht ideal ist.

Haare curlen

Wenn Sie alle Einstellungen am Gerät vorgenommen haben und die Anzeige

Temperatur  dauerhaft angezeigt wird (Temperatur erreicht):

1) Um ein Verfangen der Haare in der Lockenkammer zu verhindern, be-

nutzen Sie immer die Haarschablone 3 zum Abtrennen der Haarsträhne.

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Haarsträhne nur so dick ist, wie die gestanzte

Rundung in der Haarschablone 3.

2) Beim Einlegen der Haarsträhne in die Lockenkammer  muss die Öﬀnung

Richtung Kopf weisen. Halten Sie ca. 5 cm Abstand zur Kopfhaut.

Die Haarsträhne muss gerade und gestraﬀt eingelegt werden. Achten Sie

darauf, dass sich die Haarsträhne komplett in der Lockenkammer beﬁndet,

um ein Verfangen von Haaren zu vermeiden.

3) Lassen Sie die Haarsträhne los und drücken und halten Sie die Taste Start1.

Die Rolle beginnt sich zu drehen und die Haarsträhne aufzuwickeln.

4) Sobald die eingestellte Anzahl der Umdrehungen erreicht ist, stoppt die

Rolle und es erklingt ein Signalton. Sie können die Taste Start 1jetzt

loslassen. Die eingestellte Zeit beginnt abzulaufen. Sobald die Zeit abgelau-

fen ist, erklingen 3 Signaltöne.

HINWEIS

► Sollte sich eine Haarsträhne in der Lockenkammer  verfangen, stoppt die

Rolle , es erklingen 3 Signaltöne und das Gerät zeigt „Er2“ an. Lösen

Sie durch Drücken der Taste Release

 den Mechanismus und ziehen

Sie die Haarsträhne aus dem Gerät. Drücken Sie anschließend die Taste

Ein/Aus

. und nehmen Sie die gewünschten Einstellungen erneut vor,

um mit dem Curlen fortzufahren.

5) Ziehen Sie das Gerät vom Kopf weg, so dass die Haarsträhne aus der

Lockenkammer  gleitet.

6) Verfahren Sie mit weiteren Strähnen genauso.

7) Wenn Sie mit dem Stylen der Haare fertig sind, drücken und halten Sie die

Taste Ein/Aus

. solange, bis ein Signalton erklingt und das Display OFF

anzeigt.

8) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

9) Sobald das Gerät abgekühlt ist, stecken Sie die Schutzkappe  auf das Gerät.

Automatische Abschaltung

Dieses Gerät ist mit einer automatischen Abschaltung ausgestattet. Nach ca.

55Minuten beginnt das Gerät zu blinken, nach weiteren 5 Minuten schaltet sich

das Gerät automatisch aus, wenn Sie keine Tasten drücken.

HINWEIS

► Die automatische Abschaltung ist nur als Sicherheitseinrichtung konzipiert,

falls Sie vergessen sollten, das Gerät auszuschalten! Sie ersetzt nicht das

Ausschalten mit der Taste Ein/Aus

. und das Ziehen des Netzsteckers.

Reinigen und Pﬂegen

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!

► Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteck-

dose. Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen. Verbrennungsgefahr!

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

►

Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven, chemischen oder scheuernden Reini-

gungsmittel! Diese können die Oberﬂäche des Gerätes angreifen.

■ Reinigen Sie die Außenﬂächen des Gerätes ausschließlich mit einem leicht

feuchten Tuch.

■ Reinigen Sie die Haarschablone 3 mit einem feuchten Tuch.

■ Um die Lockenkammer  und die Rolle  zu reinigen:

– Klappen Sie die Gummilasche nach vorne und halten Sie sie fest.

– Schieben Sie das Reinigungszubehör - in die Lockenkammer  und

drehen Sie es mehrmals um die Rolle .

– Ziehen Sie das Reinigungszubehör - heraus und klappen Sie die

Gummilasche wieder hoch.

■ Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der erneuten Benutzung oder vor dem Verstauen

vollständig trocknen.

Aufbewahren

■ Stecken Sie die Schutzkappe  auf das abgekühlte Gerät.

■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse ! aufhängen.

■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.

Gerät entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Die-

ses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU

(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre

kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.

Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie bei Ihrer

Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.

Das Produkt ist recycelbar, unterliegt einer erweiterten Herstellerverantwortung

und wird getrennt gesammelt.

Garantiebedingungen

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material-

oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für

Sie kostenlos repariert, ersetzt oder der Kaufpreis erstattet. Diese Garantieleis-

tung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der

Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin

der Mangel besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte

oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts be-

ginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch

für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden

und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf

der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpﬂichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor

Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie

erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und

daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an

zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt

oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in

der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwen-

dungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgera-

ten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch be-

stimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwen-

dung und bei Eingriﬀen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Serviceniederlassung

vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Safety information

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying

a mains power voltage of 110 – 240 V ∼, 50/60 Hz.

► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power

cables replaced immediately by an authorised specialist

technician or our Customer Service department.

► Remove the plug from the mains power socket in case of

operating malfunctions and before you clean the appliance.

► Always pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance from the

mains; never pull on the power cable itself.

► Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance

is only completely free of electrical power when unplugged.

► Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the inside of the

appliance, especially metal hair clips, grips or hairpins.

► If the appliance is being used in the bathroom, disconnect

the plug from the mains power socket after use as the close

proximity of water represents a hazard – even when the

appliance is switched oﬀ.

Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers or

other containers ﬁlled with water. The proximity of water

is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched oﬀ. For

additional protection, we recommend that you install a

residual current circuit breaker with an activation power

rating of no more than 30 mA for the power circuit in the

bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.

► Keep the air inlet and outlet openings clear to ensure un impaired

The air ﬂow may blow these substances directly into your eyes.

Unpacking

♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box.

♦ Remove all packaging material.

► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of

suﬀocation.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The

packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and

ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and

reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials

that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material

components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with

abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:

1–7: plastics,

20–22: paper and cardboard,

80–98: composites.

First use

■ Before you use the appliance, ensure that ...

– the appliance and its accessory parts are in perfect working condition,

– all packaging materials and any protective ﬁlms have been removed

from the appliance.

Preparing your hair

♦ Ensure that your hair is free of any styling or care products. This does not

apply to heat protection spray.

♦ Your hair must be dry.

♦ Your hair must be combed and free from knots.

Operation

NOTE

► You may notice a slight smell when using the appliance for the ﬁrst time.

This is normal and the smell dissipates after a short time.

Settings

NOTE

► All buttons except the Release button and the Start button 1 sound a

beep when pressed.

1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. You will hear a beep, and OFF

appears on the display.

2) Press the On/Oﬀ button .. You will hear a beep and the temperature

display  ﬂashes. The set temperature ﬂashes several times before the current

temperature is displayed. The appliance now heats up and the current tempera-

ture rises. As soon as the set temperature is reached, you will hear 2 beeps

and Temperature  will light up permanently.

NOTE

► The set temperature may be brieﬂy exceeded occasionally and then drop

again. This happens because the appliance is trying to maintain the set

temperature and reheats repeatedly.

3) Press the Temperature button

 until the desired temperature appears on

the display. The temperature depends on your hair type:

130°C very ﬁne, stressed and damaged hair

150°C ﬁne hair

170°C normal hair

190°C wavy hair

210°C thick or wavy hair

230°C thick, curly hair

NOTE

► If you are not sure what temperature is ideal for your hair, increase the

temperature gradually. Start with a low temperature and increase the

temperature until you are happy with the result.

4) Press the Curl direction button

5) Press the Turns button

 to set the number of revolutions. You can read

oﬀ the set number from the Turns display . The number of turns depends

on the length of the hair:

11–12 > 50 cm

NOTE

► The diameter/size of the curls is always the same!

6) Select the time for which the strand of hair is to stay on the roller  and be

heated according to your hair type and the desired intensity of the curls.

For gentle waves, select a short time. For tighter curls, choose the longest

possible time. Bear in mind that thick hair needs a longer time than ﬁne hair

to achieve the same result.

To set the time, press the Time button

0 until the desired time appears in

the Time display .

You have now made all required settings. You can change the settings at any

time by pressing the relevant button if you ascertain that the time/temperature/

turning speed is not ideal for your hair.

Curling your hair

Once you have made all settings on the appliance and the Temperature display 

is permanently lit up (temperature reached):

1) Always use the hair template 3 to separate the hair strands and prevent the

hair from getting caught in the curling chamber .

Make sure that the hair strand is only as thick as the punched hole in the hair

template 3.

2) When placing the hair strand into the curling chamber , the opening must

be facing towards the head. Hold the appliance around 5 cm from your

scalp. The strand of hair must be inserted straight and taut. To prevent the

hair from getting entangled, make sure that the hair strand is completely in

the curling chamber .

3) Let go of the hair strand and press and hold the Start button 1.

The roller  starts turning and winding up the strand of hair.

4) As soon as the set number of turns has been reached, the roller stops and

the appliance beeps. You can now stop pressing the Start button 1.

The set time starts counting down. As soon as the time has elapsed, you will

hear 3 beeps.

NOTE

► If a strand of hair gets caught in the curl chamber , the roller  stops,

you will hear 3 beeps and “Er2” appears on the display. Press the Release

button

 to release the mechanism and pull the hair strand out of the

device. Then press the On/Oﬀ button

. and make the desired settings

again to continue curling.

5) Pull the appliance away from your head so that the strand slips out of the

curling chamber .

6) Proceed in the same way with the other strands.

7) When you have ﬁnished styling your hair, press and hold the On/Oﬀ

button

. until you hear a beep and OFF appears on the display.

8) Remove the plug from the mains power socket.

9) As soon as the appliance has cooled down, place the protective cap 

onto the appliance.

Automatic switch-oﬀ

This appliance is ﬁtted with an automatic switch-oﬀ system. After approximately

55 minutes, the appliance starts ﬂashing. If you do not press any buttons for

another 5 minutes, the appliance will switch oﬀ automatically.

NOTE

► The automatic switch-oﬀ is designed merely as a safety feature in case

you forget to switch oﬀ the appliance! It is not intended as a substitute for

switching oﬀ the appliance with the On/Oﬀ button

. and pulling out

the plug.

Cleaning and care

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Before cleaning the appliance, always pull out the plug from the mains

power socket. There is a risk of electric shock!

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Allow the appliance to cool down fully before cleaning it. Risk of burns!

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use any aggressive, abrasive or chemical cleaning agents!

These could damage the surfaces of the appliance.

■ Clean the appliance using only a lightly moistened cloth.

■ Clean the hair template 3 with a damp cloth.

■ To clean the curling chamber  and the roller :

– Fold the rubber tab forward and hold it ﬁrmly.

– Slide the cleaning accessory - into the curling chamber  and turn it

several times around the roller .

– Pull out the cleaning accessory - and fold the rubber tab back again.

■ Allow the appliance to dry completely before reusing it or putting it away.

Storage

■ Place the protective cap  on the cooled-down appliance.

■ You can hang up the appliance by the hanger !.

■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free location.

Disposal of the appliance

Never dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of the European Directive

2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal facility or your municipal

waste facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations. Please contact your

waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to

dispose of the worn-out product.

The product is recyclable, subject to extended producer responsibility and is

collected separately.

Dear Customer,

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights

are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a

safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of

purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or

refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that

you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within

the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault

and of when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired

or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the

beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty.

This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and

defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after un-

packing. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject

to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guide-

lines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not

extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which

could be considered as consumable parts such as switches, batteries or parts

made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used

or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the

product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and

actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned

against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.

The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use

of force and modiﬁcations / repairs which have not been carried out by one of

our authorised Service centres.

Consignes de sécurité

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► L'appareil ne doit être branché que dans une prise réglemen-

tairement installée et alimentée par une tension secteur de

110 – 240 V ∼, 50/60 Hz.

► Faites immédiatement remplacer la ﬁche secteur ou le cordon

d'alimentation endommagé par des techniciens spécialisés

agréés ou par le service après-vente pour éviter tout risque.

► En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de nettoyer l'appa-

reil, débranchez la ﬁche secteur de la prise secteur.

► Pour débrancher l'appareil, retirez uniquement la ﬁche sec-

teur de la prise secteur. Ne débranchez pas la ﬁche en tirant

sur le cordon d'alimentation lui-même.

► Évitez de plier ou de coincer le cordon d'alimentation et

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► Après utilisation, débranchez immédiatement l'appareil du ré-

seau électrique. L'appareil ne se retrouve vraiment hors tension

que si vous débranchez sa ﬁche secteur de la prise secteur.

► Veillez à ce qu'aucun objet tel que des pinces à cheveux

métalliques, des clips ou des épingles à cheveux, ne pénètre

dans l'appareil.

► Débranchez la ﬁche de la prise secteur après utilisation

de l'appareil dans une salle de bains: en eﬀet la présence

d'eau constitue un danger même si l'appareil est à l'arrêt.

N'utilisez jamais cet appareil à proximité de baignoires,

receveurs de douche ou d'autres récipients contenant de

l'eau. La proximité de l'eau représente un danger, même

lorsque l'appareil est éteint. À titre de protection supplé-

mentaire, nous recommandons d'installer un disjoncteur

diﬀérentiel (RCD) avec seuil de déclenchement inférieur

ou égal à 30 mA dans le circuit électrique de la salle de

bains. Demandez conseil à votre installateur d'équipement

électrique.

Élimination de l’emballage

L’emballage protège l’appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.

Les matériaux d’emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de

l’environnement et de recyclage permettant leur élimination écologique.

Le recyclage de l’emballage en ﬁlière de revalorisation permet d’économiser des

matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les

matériaux d’emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la réglementation locale.

Recyclez l’emballage d’une manière respectueuse de l’environnement.

Observez le marquage sur les diﬀérents matériaux d’emballage et triez-les séparé-

ment si nécessaire. Les matériaux d’emballage sont repérés par des abréviations (a)

et des numéros (b) qui ont la signiﬁcation suivante:

1–7: Plastiques,

Mise en service

■ Avant de mettre en service l’appareil, veuillez vous assurer que ...

– l’appareil ou les accessoires sont dans un état impeccable,

– tous les matériaux d’emballage et éventuels ﬁlms de protection ont

été retirés de l’appareil.

Préparer les cheveux

♦ Les cheveux ne doivent contenir aucun produit de coiﬀage ou de soin.

À l’exception d’un aérosol destiné à les protéger de la chaleur.

♦ Les cheveux doivent être secs.

♦ Les cheveux doivent avoir été peignés et ne pas présenter de nœuds.

Utilisation

REMARQUE

► Une légère odeur peut se dégager lors de la première mise en service.

Ce phénomène est normal et l'odeur disparaît rapidement.

Réglages

REMARQUE

► À l’exception de l’appui sur la touche Release et sur la touche Démar-

rage 1, chaque pression de touche est conﬁrmée par un signal sonore.

1) Branchez la ﬁche secteur dans une prise secteur. Un signal sonore retentit

et OFF apparait à l’écran.

2) Appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt

.. Un signal sonore retentit et

l’aﬃchage de la température  clignote sur l’écran. La température réglée

clignote plusieurs fois avant que la température actuelle s’aﬃche. L’appareil

se met à chauﬀer et la température actuelle augmente. Dès que la tempé-

rature réglée est atteinte, 2 signaux sonores retentissent et l’aﬃchage de la

température  reste allumé en permanence.

REMARQUE

► La température réglée peut être répétitivement dépassée brièvement, et

redescendre ensuite. Cela vient du fait que l'appareil tente de maintenir la

température réglée et se remet à chauﬀer régulièrement.

3) Appuyez répétitivement sur la touche Température

 jusqu’à ce que la

température souhaitée s’aﬃche à l’écran. La température dépend de votre

type de cheveux:

REMARQUE

► Si vous ne savez pas quelle température est idéale pour vos cheveux,

augmentez-la lentement. Commencez à une température réduite et aug-

mentez-la progressivement jusqu'à ce que le résultat soit satisfaisant.

4) Appuyez répétitivement sur la touche Sens de rotation 6 jusqu’à ce que

le sens de rotation des boucles voulu soit réglé:

5) Appuyez sur la touche Tours

 pour déterminer le nombre de tours.

Vous pouvez lire le nombre réglé dans l’aﬃchage du nombre de tours .

Le nombre de tours dépend de la longueur des cheveux:

5 – 7 env. 20 – 30 cm

8 – 10 30 – 50 cm

11 – 12 > 50 cm

REMARQUE

► Le diamètre/la taille des boucles reste toujours identique!

6) Suivant la nature de vos cheveux et l’intensité voulue des boucles, choisissez

combien de temps vos mèches de cheveux doivent rester sur le rouleau 

et être chauﬀées.

Pour des ondulations légères, choisissez un temps plutôt court. Pour des

boucles plus serrées, choisissez un temps le plus long possible. Notez à cette

occasion que les cheveux épais demandent plus de temps que les cheveux

ﬁns pour obtenir le même résultat.

Pour régler le temps, appuyez répétitivement sur la touche Minuterie

jusqu’à ce que le temps souhaité s’aﬃche dans l’aﬃchage du temps .

Temps réglable Température

3 – 12 secondes 130°C – 230°C

Vous venez d’eﬀectuer tous les réglages nécessaires. Vous pouvez modiﬁer à

tout moment les réglages en appuyant sur la touche respective si vous remarquez

que le temps/la température/le nombre de tours ne convient pas idéalement à

vos cheveux.

Boucler les cheveux

Après avoir eﬀectué tous les réglages sur l’appareil, et que l’aﬃchage de la

température  est aﬃché en permanence (

température atteinte):

1) Aﬁn d’éviter que les cheveux ne se coincent dans le compartiment de

bouclage  utilisez toujours le gabarit pour les cheveux 3 pour séparer

les mèches de cheveux. Veillez à ce que l’épaisseur de la mèche ne soit pas

plus épaisse que l’arrondi ménagé dans le gabarit pour les cheveux 3.

2) Lors de la mise en place de la mèche de cheveux dans le compartiment de

bouclage  l’ouverture doit pointer en direction de la tête. Maintenez un

écart d’environ 5cm avec le cuir chevelu. La mèche de cheveux doit être

placée droite et tendue. Veillez à ce que les mèches de cheveux se trouvent

entièrement dans le compartiment de bouclage  pour éviter que les che-

veux ne restent accrochés.

3) Lâchez la mèche de cheveux, appuyez et maintenez la touche Démarrage 1

enfoncée. Le rouleau  commence à tourner et à enrouler la mèche de cheveux.

4) Une fois le nombre de tours réglé atteint, le rouleau  s’arrête et un signal

sonore retentit. Vous pouvez maintenant relâcher la touche Démarrage 1.

Le temps réglé commence à s’écouler. Dès que le temps réglé est écoulé,

3signaux sonores retentissent.

REMARQUE

► Si une mèche de cheveux reste coincée dans le compartiment de bou-

clage le rouleau  s’arrête, 3 signaux sonores retentissent et l’appareil

aﬃche «Er2». Débloquez le mécanisme et sortez la mèche de cheveux de

l’appareil en appuyant sur la touche Release

. Appuyez ensuite sur la

touche Marche/Arrêt

. et procédez à nouveau aux réglages souhaités

pour continuer de boucler les cheveux.

5) Éloignez l’appareil de la tête aﬁn que la mèche glisse hors du compartiment

de bouclage .

6) Procédez de la même manière avec les mèches suivantes.

7) Une fois que vous avez ﬁni de coiﬀer vos cheveux, appuyez sur la touche

Marche/Arrêt

. jusqu’à ce qu’un signal sonore retentisse et que l’écran

aﬃche OFF.

8) Débranchez la ﬁche secteur de la prise secteur.

9) Dès que l’appareil a refroidi, insérez le capuchon de protection  sur l’appareil.

Coupure automatique

Cet appareil est doté d’un dispositif de coupure automatique. Au bout d’env.

55minutes l’appareil se met à clignoter, au bout de 5 minutes supplémentaires,

il s’éteint automatiquement si vous n’appuyez sur aucune touche.

REMARQUE

► La coupure automatique a été conçue uniquement comme dispositif de

sécurité pour le cas où vous oublieriez d'éteindre l'appareil! Elle ne rem-

place aucunement l'extinction manuelle avec la touche Marche/Arrêt

ni le retrait de la ﬁche secteur de la prise secteur.

Nettoyage et entretien

■ Nettoyez les surfaces extérieures de l’appareil uniquement avec un chiﬀon

légèrement humide.

■ Nettoyez le gabarit pour cheveux 3 avec un chiﬀon humide.

■ Pour nettoyer le compartiment de bouclage  et le rouleau :

– rabattez la languette en caoutchouc vers l’avant et maintenez-la.

– Introduisez l’accessoire de nettoyage - dans le compartiment de

bouclage  et faites-le tourner plusieurs fois autour du rouleau .

– Sortez l’accessoire de nettoyage - et relevez à nouveau la languette

en caoutchouc.

■ Laissez entièrement sécher l’appareil avant de l’utiliser à nouveau ou de le

ranger.

Rangement

■ Insérez le capuchon de protection  sur l’appareil refroidi.

■ Vous pouvez suspendre l’appareil par son œillet de suspension !.

■ Conservez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et exempt de poussière.

Recyclage de l’appareil

Ne jetez en aucun cas l’appareil avec les ordures ménagères.

Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2012/19/EU

Recyclez l’appareil par l’intermédiaire d’une entreprise de traitement des déchets

Cet appareil est garanti 3 ans à partir de la date d’achat. Si ce produit venait

à présenter des vices, vous disposez de droits légaux face au vendeur de ce

produit. Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par notre garantie présentée

Conditions de garantie

La période de garantie débute à la date d’achat. Veuillez bien conserver le ticket

de caisse. Celui-ci servira de preuve d’achat.

Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de ce produit, un vice de

matériel ou de fabrication venait à apparaître, le produit sera réparé, remplacé

gratuitement par nos soins ou le prix d’achat remboursé, selon notre choix. Cette

prestation sous garantie nécessite, dans le délai de trois ans, la présentation

de l’appareil défectueux et du justiﬁcatif d’achat (ticket de caisse) ainsi que la

description brève du vice et du moment de son apparition.

Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le produit réparé ou un

nouveau produit en retour. Aucune nouvelle période de garantie ne débute avec

Période de garantie et réclamation légale pour vices cachés

L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette dispositi-

on s’applique également aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages et

vices éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être signalés immédiatement

après le déballage. Toute réparation survenant après la période sous garantie

Étendue de la garantie

L’appareil a été fabriqué avec soin conformément à des directives de qualité

La prestation de la garantie s’applique aux vices de matériel et de fabrication.

Cette garantie ne s’étend pas aux pièces du produit qui sont exposées à une usure

Cette garantie devient caduque si le produit est détérioré, utilisé ou entretenu de
