Geachte klant,

Lees eerst aandachtig de gebruiksaanwijzing door voordat u uw nieuwe

koelapparaat in gebruik neemt. Hierin staat belangrijke informatie over een

veilig gebruik, over het opstellen en over het onderhoud van het apparaat.

De gebruiksaanwijzing s.v.p. bewaren voor latere naslag. Aan eventuele vol-

gende bezitters van het apparaat doorgeven.

Deze gebruiksaanwijzing is voor meerdere, technisch vergelijkbare modellen

in diverse uitvoeringen bestemd. S.v.p. alleen op de aanwijzingen letten die

op Uw apparaat betrekking hebben.

Met de waarschuwingsdriehoek en/of door signaalwoorden (Waar-

schuwing!, Voorzichtig!, Let op!) wordt de aandacht gevestigd op aanwij-

zingen die belangrijk zijn voor uw veiligheid of voor het juist functioneren

van het apparaat. Hier absoluut op letten.

Na dit symbool wordt uitleg gegeven over de bediening en het prak-tisch

gebruik van het apparaat.

Met het klaverblad worden tips en aanwijzingen voor een econo-mischen

milieuvriendelijk gebruik van het apparaat aangegeven.

Voor eventueel optredende storingen staan in de handleiding aanwijzingen

om deze zelf op te lossen, zie Hoofdstuk "Wat te doen als...". Als deze aanwij-

zingen niet voldoende informatie bieden staat onze klantendienst u te allen

tijde ter beschikking.

Veiligheid

De veiligheid van onze koelapparaten voldoet aan de Europese en Neder-

landse normen. Desondanks zien wij ons genoodzaakt u met de volgende

veiligheidsaanwijzingen vertrouwd te maken:

Reglementaire toepassing

• Het koelapparaat is voor huishoudelijk gebruik bestemd. Het is geschikt

voor het koelen, invriezen en diepgevroren bewaren van levensmiddelen

en voor het maken van ijs. Als het apparaat voor andere doeleinden

gebruikt wordt kan de fabrikant geen verantwoording nemen voor even-

tuele schaden.

• Het ombouwen van of veranderingen aan het koelapparaat aanbrengen

is uit veiligheidsoverwegingen niet toegestaan.

• Als het koelapparaat commercieel of voor andere doeleinden dan voor het

koelen, diepgevroren bewaren en invriezen van levens-middelen gebruikt

wordt, s.v.p. letten op de hiervoor van kracht zijnde wettelijke bepalingen.

Voordat het apparaat voor de eerste keer in gebruik

genomen wordt

• Controleer het koelapparaat op transportschaden. Een beschadigd appa-

raat in geen geval aansluiten! Wend u in geval van schade tot de leve-

rancier.

Koelmiddelen

Het apparaat bevat in het koelvloeistofcircuit de koelvloeistof Isobutan

(R600a), een natuurlijk, zeer milieuvriendelijk gas, dat echter wel brandbaar

is.

• Bij het transport en het opstellen van het apparaat erop letten dat geen

onderdelen van het koelvloeistofcircuit beschadigd worden.

• Bij beschadiging van het koelvloeistofcircuit:

– open vuur en brandhaarden absoluut vermijden;

– het vertrek waar het apparaat staat goed ventileren.

Veiligheid van kinderen

• Verpakkingsdelen (bijv. foliën, piepschuim) kunnen voor kinderen gevaar-

lijk zijn. Stikgevaar! Verpakkingsmateriaal van kinderen weghouden!

• Oude apparaten voor het weggooien onbruikbaar maken. Stekker uit het

stopcontact trekken, stroomkabel doorknippen, eventueel aanwezige

Una preparazione definita dei pezzi di ricambio può risparmiare delle vie

inutili e tempo. Si prega pertanto di indicare i seguenti dati del Vostro appa-

recchio:

• Descrizione modello

• Numero di produzione (No.P)

• Numero di ultimazione (No.U)

Queste indicazioni sono riportate sulla targa matricola situata nell’interno

dell’apparecchio. Allo scopo di aver rapidamente a portatas di mano tutti i

dati, si consiglia di annotarli qui.

Avvertenza: Una chiamata del servizio di assistenza non giustificata é sog-

getta all’obbligo di risarcimento delle spese anche durante la garanzia.

Disposizioni, Norme, Direttive.

L’apparecchiatura é stato concepito per l’impiego domestico ed é stato pro-

dotto sotto l’osservanza delle norme vigenti per questi tipi di apparecchia-

ture. Nella produzione sono stati inoltre presi i particolari provvedimenti

necessari in conformità alla legge sulla sicurezza degli apparecchi (GSG), le

prescrizione sulla prevenzione degli infortuni per impiianti refrigeranti (VBG

20) e le disposizioni della cooperativa tedesca elettricisti (VDE).Il circuito

refrigerante é stata verificata sull’ermeticità.

Questo apparecchio è conforme alle seguenti direttive CEE:

– 73/23/CEE del 19.2.1973 - Direttiva sulle basse tensioni

– 89/336/CEE del 3.5.1989

(compresa successive modifiche del 92/31/CEE) - Direttiva EMV

voorkomen dat spelende kinderen in het apparaat opgesloten raken (stik-

gevaar!) of in andere levensgevaarlijke situaties terecht komen.

• Kinderen kunnen gevaren die in het omgaan met huishoudelijke appara-

ten schuilen vaak niet herkennen. Zorg daarom voor de nodige toezicht

en laat kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.

Bij dagelijks gebruik

• Containers met brandbare gassen of vloeistoffen kunnen lek raken door

de inwerking van koude. Explosiegevaar! Leg geen containers met brand-

bare stoffen zoals bijv. spraybussen, aanstekers, navullin-gen van aan-

stekers etc. in het koelapparaat.

• Flessen en blikken mogen niet in het vriesvak. Ze kunnen springen als de

inhoud bevriest – bij koolzuurhoudende inhoud zelfs exploderen! Leg

nooit limonades, sappen, bier, wijn, champagne etc. in het vriesvak. Uit-

zondering: sterke drank met een zeer hoog alcohol percentage kan in het

vriesvak gelegd worden.

• Consumptie-ijs en ijsblokjes niet direct vanuit de vriesruimte in de mond

steken. Zeer koud ijs kan aan de lippen of de tong vastvriezen en verwon-

dingen veroorzaken.

• Niet met natte handen aan diepvriesartikelen komen. De handen kunnen

daaraan vastvriezen.

• Geen elektrische apparaten (bijv. elektrische ijsmachines, mixers etc.) in

het koelapparaat gebruiken.

• Voor het schoonmaken het apparaat altijd uitzetten en de stekker uit het

stopcontact trekken of de zekering in de woning uitschakelen c.q. er uit

draaien.

• De stekker altijd aan de stekker zelf uit het stopcontact trekken, nooit aan

het snoer.

Bij storing

• Als er een storing aan het apparaat optreedt eerst in de gebruiks-aanwij-

zing kijken onder “Wat te doen als ...”. Als de daar gegeven aanwijzingen

niet verder helpen zelf niet verder aan het apparaat werken.

• Koelapparaten mogen alleen dooor geschoold personeel gerepareerd

worden. Door ondeskundige reparaties kunnen grote gevaren ont-staan.

Wend u zich bij reparaties tot uw vakhandel of tot onze klantendienst.

Informatie over de verpakking van het apparaat

Alle gebruikte grondstoffen zijn milieuvriendelijk! Ze kunnen zonder gevaar

weggegooid of in de vuilverbrandingsoven verbrand worden!

De grondstoffen: de kunststoffen kunnen ook opnieuw gebruikt worden en

worden als volgt gekarakteriseerd:

>PE< voor polyethyleen, bijv. bij de buitenste verpakking en de zakken bin-

nenin.

>PS< voor schuimpolystyrol, bijv. bij de bekledingsdelen, in principe FCKW-

vrij.

De kartonnen delen zijn van oud papier gemaakt en kunnen ook weer bij

het oud-papier gedaan worden.

Weggooien van oude apparaten

Wegens milieuredenen dienen koelapparaten vakkundig ontmanteld te

worden. Dit geldt voor uw huidige apparaat en - als het ook aan vervanging

toe is - ook voor uw nieuwe apparaat.

Waarschuwing! Apparaten die hun tijd gehad hebben onbruikbaar maken

voordat ze weggegooid worden. Stekker er afhalen, netsnoer doorknippen,

eventuele snap- of grendelsloten verwijderen of kapot-maken. Hierdoor

wordt voorkomen dat spelende kinderen in het apparaat opgesloten wor-

den (verstikkingsgevaar!) of in andere levensgevaarlijke situaties terechtko-

men.

Aanwijzingen voor het weggooien:

• Het apparaat mag niet bij het huis- of grofvuil gezet worden.

• Het koelvloeistofcircuit, in het bijzonder de warmtewisselaar aan de ach-

terkant, mag niet beschadigd worden.

• Informatie over afhaaltijden of inzamelplaatsen zijn te verkrijgen bij de

plaatselijke reinigingsdienst of op het gemeentehuis.

Transportbescherming verwijderen

Het apparaat alsmede de onderdelen van het interieur zijn voor het tran-

sport beschermd.

• Alle plakband alsmede bekledingsdelen uit het interieur verwijderen.

Che cosa fare, se ...

Rimedio in caso di disturbi

Probabilmente si tratta di un guasto di lieve entità che potrete eliminare da

soli seguendo le seguenti istruzioni. Non effettuare nessun’altra operazione

qualore le informazioni qui riportate non fossero di alcun aiuto per il caso

concreto.

Avvertenza! Le riparazioni del frigorifero devono essere eseguite unicamen-

te da personale specializzato. Riparazioni improprie possono essere fonte di

gravi pericoli per l’utente. Qualora fosse necessaria una riparazione, siete

pregati di rivolgerVi al Vostro rivenditore autorizzato oppure al nostro ser-

Opstellen

Opstelplaats

Het apparaat in een goed geventileerde en droge ruimte neerzetten.

De omgevingstemperatuur heeft invloed op het stroomverbruik.

Het apparaat daarom

– niet aan directe straling van de zon blootstellen;

– niet bij radiatoren, naast een kachel of andere warmtebronnen plaatsen;

– alleen op een plaats neerzetten waarvan de omgevingstemperatuur ove-

reenkomt met de klimaatcategorie waarvoor het apparaat is ont-worpen.

De klimaatcategorieën staan op het merk- en type-aanduidingsplaatje dat

zich links aan de binnenkant van het apparaat bevindt.

De volgende tabel geeft aan welke omgevingstemperatuur bij welke kli-

maatcategorie behoort:

Als het onvermijdelijk is het apparaat naast een warmtebron te plaat-sen,

aan weerszijden minimaal de volgende afstanden aanhouden:

– tot elektrische kachels 3 cm;

– tot olie- en kolenkachels 30 cm.

Als men zich niet aan deze afstanden kan houden, is een warmte-isolatie-

plaat tussen kachel en koelapparaat aan te bevelen.

Als het koelapparaat naast een ander koel- of diepvriesapparaat staat, is een

afstand van 5 cm aan weerszijden aan te bevelen, zodat zich geen condens

vormt aan de buitenkant van de apparaten.

Consigli per il risparmio energetico

• Non installare l’apparecchio vicino a forni, elementi riscaldanti o altre fon-

ti di calor. Con temperature ambientali elevate il compressore entra in

funzione più spesso e più a lungo.

• Garantire una sufficiente aereazione in entrata e uscita. Non coprire mai

le aperture d’aereazione..

• Non collocare dei cibi caldi nell’apparecchio, lasciarli prima raffreddare.

• Aprire la prota solamente per quanto sia necessario.

• Non regolare una temperatura più fredda di quanto sia necessario..

• Mettere i cibi da scongelare nel comparto refrigerante. Il freddo derivan-

te dal scongelamento aiuta il raffreddamento del comparto refrigerante.

• Mantenere costantemente pulito il condensatore posto sul lato posterio-

re dell’apparecchio.

2. Spegnere l’apparecchio ed estrarre la spina oppure disinsrire rispett. svitare

il fusibile.

3. Sbrinare il congelatore

4. Pulire l’apparecchio e gli accessori interni con un panno morbido imbevuto

di acqua calda. Aggiungere eventualmente del comune detergente per il

lavaggio dei piatti.

5. Risciaquare e asciugare strofinando.

I depositi di polvere sul condensatore situato sul lato posteriore dell’appa-

recchio, riducono notevolmente la potenza di raffreddamento ed aumenta-

no quindi il consumo energetico. Pertanto é necessario pulirlo accurata-

mente una volta l’anno con una spazzola oppure un aspirapolvere.

6. Controllare il foro di scarico del-

l’acqua di sbrinamento, posto

nella parte posteriore della cella

refrigerante. Il foro intasato può

essere liberato utilizzando il puli-

tore verde.

gato bene si può rimettere in ser-

Om veiligheidsredenen moet de

ventilatie zodanig zijn als aange-

Attentie: zorg ervoor dat de

ventilatie openingen tijdens

gebruik niet woden afgedekt.

Elektrische aansluiting

Voor de elektrische aansluiting is een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleer-

de beschermcontactdoos vereist.

De contactdoos moet zodanig worden geïnstalleerd, dat de steker altijd uit

de contactdoos kan worden getrokken.

De elektrische zekering dient minstens 10 Ampère te zijn.

Indien het stopcontact bij een ingebouwd apparaat niet meer toegan-kelijk

is, dient een maatregel in de elektrische installatie er voor te zorgen dat het

apparaat van de stroom kan worden afgesloten (bijv. zekering, beveiligings-

schakelaar, aardlekschakelaar of dergelijke met een contactopeningsbreed-

te van minimaal 3 mm).

• Voor ingebruikneming op het merk– en type–aanduidingsplaatje van het

apparaat controleren of de netspanning en stroomsoort over-eenkomen

met de waarden van het lichtnet op de plaats waar het apparaat komt te

staan.

(d.w.z. 220 tot 240 Volt wisselstroom, 50 Hertz)

Het typeplaatje bevindt zich links aan de binnenkant van het apparaat.

Voor ingebruikname

• Het interieur van het apparaat en alle accessoires schoonmaken voor het

eerste gebruik (zie Hoofdstuk “Reiniging en onderhoud”).

Pulizia e cura

Avvertimento!

• Durante la pulizia, l’apparecchio non deve essere collegato alla rete elet-

trica. Pericolo di scosse di corrente! Prima di eseguire i lavori di pulizia, é

necessario disinserire l’apparecchio, estrarre la spina oppure disinserire

rispett. svitare il fusibile.

• Non pulire mai l’apparecchio con delle idropulitrici a vapore. L’umidità

potrebbe penetrare negli elementi di costruzione elettrici, pericolo di scos-

se di corrente! Il vapore bollente può causare dei dannii ai pezzi in mate-

riale sintetico.

• L’apparecchio deve essere asciutto, ancor prima della nuova messa in ser-

vizio.

Attenzione!

• Oli essenziali e sostanze solventi organiche possono intaccare gli elemen-

ti in materiale sintetico, p.es.

– succhi di limone oppure bucce di arancia;;

– burro acido;

– sostanze detergenti contenenti acido di aceto.

Evitare il contatto degli elementi dell’apparecchio con simili sostanze.

• Non impiegare mai sostanze detergenti graffianti.

1. Togliere i cibi. Avvolgere con più fogli di giornali i surgelati. Riporre il tutto

in un luogo fresco.

Spegnimento dell’apparecchio

Dovesse l’apparecchio essere spento per un lungo periodo:

1. Svuotare lo scomparto refrigerante e congelante .

2. Spegnere l’apparecchio.

3. Togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente oppure disinserire la valvola di sicu-

rezza.

4. Sbrinare lo scomparto congelantee pulire (vedi paragrafo “Pulizia e

cura”)gung und Pflege").

5. Lasciare aperte le porte per evitare la formazione di odori sgradevoli.

Bedienings- en kontroleinrichting

Toetsen voor temperatuurinstelling

De temperatuur wordt ingesteld via de toetsen „+“ (WARMER) en „-“ (KOU-

DER). De toetsen staan in verbinding met de temperatuurindicatie.

• Door te drukken op één van de twee toetsen „+“ (WARMER) of „-“ (KOU-

DER) wordt de temperatuurindicatie van de WERKELIJKE temperatuur (tem-

peratuurindicatie brandt) op de GEWENSTE temperatuur (temperatuurindi-

catie knippert) omgeschakeld.

• Met elke verdere druk op één van beide toetsen wordt de GEWENSTE tem-

peratuur 1 °C verder gesteld. De GEWENSTE temperatur dient binnen 24 uur

te worden bereikt.

Als geen toets wordt ingedrukt, schakelt de temperatuurindicatie na korte

tijd (ca. 5 sec.) automatisch weer op de WERKELIJKE temperatuur terug.

GEWENSTE temperatuur betekent:

De temperatuur die in de koelruimte moet heersen. De GEWENSTE tempe-

ratuur wordt met knipperende cijfers aangegeven.

WERKELIJKE temperatuur betekent:

De temperatuurindicatie geeft de temperatuur aan die op dat moment

werkelijk in de koelruimte heerst. De WERKELIJKE temperatuur wordt met

brandende cijfers aangegeven.

Congelatore

Nello scomparto congelatore si forma uno strato di brina, a causa dell’umi-

dità che si sviluppa durante il funzionamento. Questo deve essere eliminato

periodicamente, utilizzando una paletta raschiabrina.

Uno strato molto spesso di brina nello scomparto congelatore comporta un

consumo maggiore di energia. Perciò é necessario eseguire lo sbrinamento

completo ogniqualvolta si é formato uno strato di 4 mm circa o almeno una

volta l’anno. Inoltre é sempre consigliabile effettuare lo sbrinamento quan-

do l’apparecchio é vuoto o quando il carico é minimo.

Per effettuare un sbrinamento completo procedere come segue:

1. Togliere i cibi congelati, riporli in un luogo fresco.

2. Spegnere l’apparecchiatura o stacca-

re la spina dalla presa di corrente .

3. Lasciare aperta la porta dello scom-

parto congelatore.

4. Inserire la paletta raschiabrina nel

foro per la raccolta dell’acqua di sbri-

namentento e porre al di sotto una

bacinella.

5. Riportare la manopola del termosta-

to nella posizione desiderata e rein-

serire la spina nella presa.

Avvertenza:

Non impiegare mai utensili metallici per asportare la brina.

Si raccomanda di non utilizzare riscaldatori elettrici o altri mezzi meccanici

o artificiali per accelerare il processo di sbrinamento, tranne quelli racco-

mandati in questo libretto.

Un innalzamento della temperatura dei surgelati durante lo sbrinamento

potrebbe ridurne il tempo di conservazione.

Temperatuurindicatie

De temperatuurindicatie kan meerdere soorten informatie aangeven.

• Bij normaal gebruik wordt de temperatuur aangegeven die op dat moment

in de koelruimte heerst (WERKELIJKE temperatuur).

• Tijdens de temperatuurinstelling wordt knipperend de op dat moment inge-

stelde koelruimte temperatuur aangegeven (GEWENSTE temperatuur).

In gebruik nemen - temperatuur instellen

1. Stekker in stopcontact steken.

2. Toets KOELEN AAN/UIT indrukken. Het groene lichtnetlampje gaat branden.

3. Druk op de toetsen „+“ (WARMER) of „-“ (KOUDER). De temperatuurindica-

tie schakelt om en geeft knipperend de op dat moment ingestelde GEWEN-

STE temperatuur aan.

4. Gewenste temperatuur door indrukken van de toetsen „+“ (WARMER) en

„-“ (KOUDER) instellen (zie hoofdstuk "Toetsen voor temperatuurinstelling").

De temperatuurindicatie geeft direct de gewijzigde instelling aan. Met elke

druk op de toets wordt de temperatuur 1 °C hoger ingesteld.

Uit voedingswetenschappelijk standpunt is +5 °C voor de koelruimte koud

genoeg als bewaartemperatuur.

5. Als na het instellen van de temperatuur de toetsen niet meer worden inge-

drukt, schakelt de temperatuurindicatie na korte tijd (ca. 5 seconden) om en

geeft weer de WERKELIJKE temperatuur aan die op dat moment in de koel-

ruimte heerst. De indicatie gaat van knipperen naar constant branden.

De compressor start en loopt dan automatisch.

Aanwijzing: als de instelling veranderd wordt, start de compressor niet

direct als op dat ogenblik automatisch wordt ontdooid. Omdat de bewaar-

temperatuur in de koelruimte snel wordt bereikt, kunt u direct na het

inschakelen levensmiddelen in de koelruimte leggen.

COOLMATIC

De COOLMATIC-functie is geschikt voor het snel afkoelen van grotere hoe-

veelheden in de koelruimte, bijv. dranken, salades ter gelegenheid van een

feestje.

1. Door te drukken op de COOLMATIC toets wordt de COOLMATIC-functie

ingeschakeld. Het gele lampje gaat branden.

De COOLMATIC-functie zorgt nu voor intensief koelen. Daarbij wordt auto-

matisch een GEWENSTE temperatuur van +2 °C ingesteld. Na verloop van 6

uur wordt de COOLMATIC-functie automatisch beëindigd. Het gele lampje

gaat uit. De oorspronkelijk ingestelde GEWENSTE temperatuur geldt dan

weer en de temperatuurindicatie geeft weer de temperatuur aan die op dat

moment in de koelruimte heerst.

Sbrinamento

Frigorifero

Sulla parete posteriore dello scomparto refrigerante, si forma uno stra-

to di brina durante il funzionamento del compressore, che viene elimi-

nato automaticamente durante le pause di funzionamento dello stesso.

L’acqua derivante dallo sbrinamento, tramite un apposito convogliatore

posto nella parte posteriore dello scomparto refrigerante, attraverso un

foro di scarico, viene raccolta in una bacinella posta sopra il compressore,

da dove evapora.

Calendario di congelamento

• I simboli sui cassetti indicano diversi tipi di prodotti da congelare.

• Le cifre indicano il periodo di

immagazzinaggio in mesi per

ciascun tipo di prodotto da con-

gelare. Se é valido il valore supe-

riore oppure quello inferiore del

periodo di immagazzinaggio

indicato, dipende dalla qualità

dei prodotti alimentari e dal

proprio pretrattamento prima

del congelamento. Per gli ali-

menti notevolmente grassi vale

sempre il valore inferiore.

Cubetti di ghiaccio

1. Riempire a 3/4 la bacinella ghiaccio con acqua fredda e riporla nel cassetto

congelatore.

2. Per togliere i cubetti pronti é sufficiente torcere la bacinella o metterla bre-

vemente sooto l’acqua corrente.

Attenzione! Si raccomanda di non usare utensili appuntiti o a spigoli per

staccare la bacinella eventualmente rimasta attaccata. Utilizzare la paletta

raschiabrina in dotazione.

functie te allen tijde handmatig beëindigd worden. Het gele lampje gaat uit.

Vakantiefunctie

Bij de vakantiefunctie is de temperatuur ingesteld op +15°C. Zodoende kunt

u tijdens een lange periode van afwezigheid (bijv. vakantie) de deur van de

lege koelkast dus dicht laten in plaats van deze open te laten staan, zonder

dat er onaangename luchtjes ontstaan. Voordeel: het ongemerkt sluiten van

de betreffende deuren: aangezien de deur al dicht is, is het niet meer moge-

lijk dat de deur ongemerkt wordt gesloten door mensen die tijdens uw

afwezigheid toegang tot de woning heben. Zonder de Vakantiefunctie zou-

den onaangename luchtles het gevolg hiervan zijn.

1. Om de vakantiefunctie in te stellen, dient men op toets (C) te drukken°.

2. Men dient nu net zolang op de toets voor temperatuurverhoging te drukken

tot de letter “H” (holiday) op de temperatuuraanduiding verschijnt. De tem-

peratuuraanduiding wijzigt de getoonde temperatuur telkens met 1°C tot

+8°C. Na +8°C volgt de waarde +15°C, aangeduid met de letter “H”. NU

bevindt de koelkast zich op de energiebesparende stand van de vakantie-

functie.

Interieur

Legvlakken

Naargelang het model is het appa-

raat voorzien van glas legvlakken.

Het legvlak van glas boven de groen-

te- en fruitbakken moet altijd op die

plaats blijven liggen, opdat groente

en fruit langer vers blijven.

De overige legvlakken zijn in hoogte

verstelbaar:

Daartoe de legvlak zover naar voren trekken tot hij naar boven of onderen

bewogen kan worden en eruit gehaald kan worden.

Om de legvlakken op een andere hoogte te zetten in omgekeerde volgorde

te werk gaan.

Plaatsen van grote verpakkingen:

De voorste helft van de tweedelige legvlak eruit halen en op een andere

hoogte erin schuiven. Hierdoor wordt ruimte gewonnen om op de daaron-

der gelegen legvlak grote verpakkingen te plaatsen.

Congelazione e surgelazione

Il vostro congelatore é adatto sia per la conservazione i surgelati che per la

congelazione di cibi freschi.

Attenzione

• La temperatura nello scomparto congelatore dev’essere di -18°C o infrio-

re prima di introdurre i cibi per la congelazione.

• Attenersi per la congelazione ai quantitativi indicati sulla targa matrico-

la.Il quantitativo per la congelazione é la quantità massima di cibi freschi

che possono essere congelati in 24 ore. Volendo effettuare la congelazio-

ne di cibi freschi per più giorni consecutivi, ridurre il quantitativo riporta-

to sulla targa a 2/3 o 3/4.

• Lasciare raffreddare eventuali cibi caldi prima di congelarli. Il calore por-

ta a una forte formazione di brina ed un elevato consumo energetico.

• Rispettare le date di scadenza indicato sulle confezioni dal produttore

• I cibi una volta scongelati non possono venir ricongelati previa cottura.

• I contentitori di gas infiammabili oppure liquidi mediante l’effetto del

freddo possono perdere la propria ermeticità. Pericolo di espolsione! Non

immagazzinare mai dei contenitori con sostanze infiammabili, come p.es.

bombole spray, accendini e cartucce di rifornimento, ecc. nell’apparecchio

refrigerante.

• Le bottiglie e le lattine non devono essere collocatenella cella di congela-

mento. Queste possono scoppiare non appena si congela il contenuto,

mentre i liquidi contenenti anidride carbonica possono addirittura esplo-

dere! Non collocare mai della limonata, succhi, birra,vino, spumante, ecc.

Ad eccezione: I superalcoolici possono essere immagazzinati nella cella di

congelamento.

• Avvolgere ermeticamente gli alimenti prima della congelazione in modo

da evitare che si asciughino, perdano gli aromi o che i sapori si trasmet-

tano agli altri cibi congelati.

Attenzione! Mai toccare i cibi congelati con le mani bagnate. La pelle

potrebbe rimanere attaccata.

1. Porre gli alimenti impacchettati nei cassetti . Porre gli alimenti freschi da

congelare nel cassettosuperiore insieme alla massa eutettica. I cibi non

congelati non devono venire in contatto con la merce già congelata, altri-

menti la merce congelata potrebbe scongelarsi inalcuni punti.

2. Se si vuole congelare la quantità massima di congelazione si deve attivare

12 ore prima la congelazione rapida . Con quantità inferiori bastano 4-6 ore

prima. La luce spia gialla si accende. Dopo aver raggiunto la temperatura

ottimale spegnere la congelazione rapida. La luce spia gialla si spegne.

3. Collocare i prodotti congelati possibilmente in modo separato nei cassetti.

Variabele binnendeur

Schuifje links:

Als de ventilatiesleuven open zijn,

heerst t.g.v. sterkere luchtcirculatie

een laag luchtvochtigheidsgehalte in

de groente- en fruitbakken.

Als de ventilatiesleuven dicht zijn,

blijft het natuurlijke vochtigheid-

sgehalte van de levensmiddelen in de

groente- en fruitbakken langer

behouden.

Variabele box

Sommige modellen hebben een

variabele box dat naar de zijkant ver-

schoven kan worden en onder een

deurvak is aangebracht.

De box kan onder ieder deurvak wor-

den aangebracht.

Voor het omzetten het deurvak met de variabele box naar boven uit de hou-

ders in de deur tillen en de beugel uit de geleider onder het deurvak uitne-

men.

Inzetten op een andere hoogte geschiedt in omgekeerde volgorde.

FROSTMATIC

La funzione FROSTMATIC accelera la fase di congelamento degli alimenti

freschi proteggendo contemporaneamente le vivande già congelate da un

riscaldamento indesiderato.

1. Premendo il tasto FROSTMATIC si inserisce la cosiddetta funzione FROST-

MATIC e si accende la spia gialla.

Se la funzione FROSTMATIC non viene revocata manualmente, i componenti

elettronici dell’apparecchio la disinseriscono dopo 24 ore. La spia gialla si

spegne.

2. Premendo nuovamente il tasto FROSTMATIC è possibile revocare manual-

mente la funzione FROSTMATIC in qualsiasi momento. La spia gialla si spegne.

Tasto disattivazione allarme

Un aumento anomalo della temperatura del vano congelatore (es. mancan-

za di energia elettrica) viene indicato dal lampeggio della lampada spia (O)

e da un segnalatore acustico.

Al ripristino delle condizioni normali il segnalatore acustico si spegne men-

tre continua a lampeggiare la lampada spia d’allarme.

Premendo il tasto d’allarme appare sull’indicatore per alcuni secondi la tem-

peratura più calda raggiunta nel vano.

Spegnimento dell’apparecchio

Per spegnere il frigorifero basta tenere premuto il tasto ON/OFF per ca. 5

secondi. Sul display della temperatura viene visualizzato un cosiddetto „Count

down“ (conto alla rovescia) da “3” a “1”. Una volta raggiunta la posizione “1”, lo

scomparto frigorifero si disinserisce ed il display della temperatura si spegne.

Avvertenza:

Se la spina è staccata oppure manca l’alimentazione di corrente non è pos-

sibile modificare le impostazioni dell’apparecchio. Dopo averlo collegato alla

rete, l’apparecchio si riporta nello stato di funzionamento in cui si trovava

prima dell’interruzione di corrente.

Se l’apparecchio resta spento per lunghi periodi di tempo, si dovrà procede-

re come segue:

1. Spegnete l’apparecchio tenendo premuto il tasto ON/OFF finché non si spe-

gne il display (vedi sopra).

2. Estrarre la spina di rete oppure disinserire rispett. svitare il fusibile.

3. Sbrinate lo scomparto congelatore e pulite accuratamente l’apparecchio

(vedi il paragrafo "Pulizia e manutenzione").

4. Infine, lasciate aperta la porta per evitare che si formino cattivi odori all’in-

terno dell’apparecchio.

Koelen van levensmiddelen

Voor een optimaal gebruik van de koelruimte adviseren wij u de volgende

eenvoudige regels in acht te nemen:

• Plaats geen warme of dampende spijzen of dranken in de koelruimte;

• dek vooral sterk geurend voedsel af of verpak het;

• plaats de levensmiddelen zo, dat de lucht vrij eromheen kan circuleren.

Enkele belangrijke tips:

Vlees (alle soorten): wordt in plastic zakjes op de glazen plaat boven de

groentelade geplaatst.

Bewaar vlees niet langer dan één of twee dagen.

Gekookt voedsel, koude schotels enz.: kunnen, goed afgedekt, op elk roo-

ster geplaatst worden.

Fruit en groente: worden schoongemaakt in de groentelade(n) gelegd.

Boter en kaas: worden, om blootstelling aan de lucht te voorkomen, in spe-

ciale koeldozen bewaard of in plastic- of aluminiumfolie verpakt.

Flessen melk: worden, goed gesloten, in het flessenrek geplaatst.

Bewaar niet-luchtdicht verpakte bananen, aardappelen, uien of knoflook

niet in de koelkast.

Display della temperatura

Il display della temperatura può visualizzare diverse informazioni.

• Durante il funzionamento normale viene visualizzata la temperatura attual-

mente presente nello scomparto congelatore (temperatura EFFETTIVA).

• Durante la regolazione della temperatura, la temperatura impostata in quel

momento nello scomparto congelatore (temperatura NOMINALE) viene

visualizzata sul display con cifre lampeggianti.

Messa in esercizio - Regolazione della temperatura

1. Inserire la spina di rete nella presa.

2. Premete il tasto ON/OFF. Si illumina la spia verde di controllo. La lampada

spia d’alarme (O) continua a lampeggiare, finché la temperatura interna

impostata non viene raggiunta. Si attiva il segnalatore acustico.

3. Premete il tasto „+“ (J) oppure „-“ (L). Il display della temperatura si com-

muta e visualizza, lampeggiando, la temperatura NOMINALE correntemen-

te impostata.

4. Regolate la temperatura desiderata premendo il tasto „+“ (J) e „-“ (L) (vedi

il paragrafo “Tasti di regolazione della temperatura”). Il display della tempe-

ratura visualizza immediatamente la nuova impostazione. Ad ogni pressio-

ne dei tasti si aumenta la temperatura di 1 ˚C.

Secondo la scienza dell'alimentazione, -18˚C per lo scomparto congelatore

sono sufficienti come temperatura di conservazione.

5. Il segnalatore acustico si spegne, quando viene raggiunta la temperatura

impostata. Premere il tasto disattivazione alarme per disinserire la lampada

spia d’alarme.

Massa eutettica

L’apparecchio può essere dotata di una o più all’interno una massa eutetti-

che.

In caso di interruzione della corrente o di mal funzionamento dell’apparec-

chiatura la massa eutettica aumenterà di qualche ora la conservzione dei

cibi congelati. Per usufruire nel modo migliore la massa eutettica, quest’ul-

tima deve essere posta nel cassetto superiore. La massa euttetica può esse-

re usata anche come elemento raffreddante per la borse termiche.

Tasti di regolazione della temperatura

La regolazione della temperatura avviene tramite i tasti „+“ e „-“.

I tasti sono collegati al display della temperatura.

• Premendo uno dei due tasti „+“ (PIÙ CALDO) oppure „-“ (PIÙ FREDDO), il

display della temperatura si commuta dalla temperatura REALE (Il display

della temperatura è acceso) sulla temperatura NOMINALE (Il display della

temperatura lampeggia).

• Ad ogni ulteriore pressione di uno dei due tasti si aumenta la temperatura

NOMINALE di 1 ˚C. La temperatura nominale deve essere raggiunta entro le

24 ore.

• Premendo un tasto, il display della temperatura si riporta automaticamen-

te sulla temperatura REALE dopo circa 5 secondi.

Temperatura NOMINALE significa:

la temperatura che dovrebbe essere presente all’interno dello scomparto

congelatore. La temperatura NOMINALE viene visualizzata da cifre lampeg-

gianti.

Temperatura REALE significa:

il display della temperatura visualizza la temperatura effettivamente pre-

sente in quel momento nello scomparto congelatore. La temperatura REA-

LE viene visualizzata da cifre che restano accese.

en geeft knipperend de op dat moment ingestelde GEWENSTE temperatuur

aan.

4. Gewenste temperatuur door indrukken van de toetsen „+“ (J) en „-“ (L)

instellen (zie hoofdstuk "Toetsen voor temperatuurinstelling"). De tempera-

tuurindicatie geeft direct de gewijzigde instelling aan. Met elke druk op de

toets wordt de temperatuur 1 °C hoger ingesteld.

Uit voedingswetenschappelijk standpunt is -18 °C voor de diepvriezer koud

genoeg als bewaartemperatuur.

5. Het geluidsalarm wordt uitgeschakeld zodra de ingestelde temperatuur

bereikt worden. Druk op de alarmtoers om het alarmcontrolelampje uit te

schakelen.

Koude-accu

In één van de laden van de vriesruimte bevindt zich twee koude-accus.

Als de stroom uitvalt of bij een storing aan het apparaat verlengt de kou-

de-accu de tijd tot de diepvriesartikelen te warm worden met meerdere

uren. De koude-accu kan dit echter alleen optimaal doen als ze in de boven-

ste la vooraan boven op de diepvriesartikelen gelegd wordt. De koude-accu

kan tijdelijk ook als koelelement voor koeltassen gebruikt worden.

FROSTMATIC

De FROSTMATIC-functie versnelt het invriezen van verse levensmiddelen en

beschermt tegelijkertijd de reeds ingevroren waren tegen ongewenste

verwarming.

1. Door te drukken op de FROSTMATIC toets wordt de FROSTMATIC-functie

ingeschakeld. Het gele lampje gaat branden.

Refrigerazione dei cibi e delle bevande

Per utilizzare nel modo migliore lo scomparto refrigerante è necessario:

• non introdurre nella cella vivande calde o liquidi in evaporazione;

• coprire o avvolgere gli alimenti, specie se contengono aromi;

• disporre gli alimenti in modo che l’aria possa circolare liberamente attor-

no ad essi.

Carne (di tutti i tipi): va avvolta in sacchetti di plastica e posta sul vetro

sopra il cassetto verdura.

In questa posizione si potrà conservare per uno o due giorni al massimo.

Cibi cotti piatti freddi, ecc. devono essere ben coperti e possono essere

disposti su qualsiasi griglia.

Frutta e verdura: saranno messe, previa pulitura, nel/ nei cassetto/i previ-

sto/i a tale scopo.

Burro e formaggio devono essere conservati negli appositi contenitori o

avvolti in fogli di plastica o alluminio per evitare il contatto con l’aria.

Latte in bottiglia: ben chiuse poste nel portabottiglie.

Banane, patate, cipolla ed aglio, se non sono confezionati, non vanno

messi in frigorifero.

Als de FROSTMATIC-functie niet handmatig beëindigd wordt, schakelt de

elektronica van het apparaat de FROSTMATIC-functie na 24 uur uit. Het gele

lampje gaat uit.

2. Door opnieuw op de FROSTMATIC toets te drukken kan de FROSTMATIC-

functie te allen tijde handmatig beëindigd worden. Het gele lampje gaat uit.

Toets om het alarm uit te schakelen

Een abnormale verhoging van de temperatuur in de diepvries (bijv. uitval-

len van de elektriciteit) wordt aangeduid door het knipperen van het con-

trolelampje (O) en door een geluidsignaal.

Wanneer de normale omstandigheden hersteld worden, gaat het geluidsa-

larm uit, terwijl het alarmcontrolelampje blijft knipperen.

Door op alarmtoets (P) te drukken, verschijnt op de aanduiding (K) gedu-

rende enkele seconden de hoogste temperatuur die in de diepvriezer ont-

staan is.

Apparaat uitschakelen

Om uit te schakelen toets AAN/UIT ca. 5 seconden ingedrukt houden. In de

temperatuurindicatie begint een "count down", daarbij wordt van "3" naar

"1" teruggeteld. Bij bereiken van "1" schakelt de koelruimte uit. De tempe-

ratuurindicatie gaat uit.

Aanwijzing:

De instelling van het apparaat kan niet veranderd worden, als de stekker uit

het stopcontact getrokken is of als er anderszins geen elektriciteit aanwezig

is. Na aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet start het apparaat weer op de stand

waar het voor de stroomonderbreking op stond.

Als het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt:

1. Apparaat uitschakelen door toets AAN/UIT in te drukken tot de indicatie

uitgaat (zie boven).

2. Stekker uit het stopcontact halen of zekering uitschakelen, er resp. uithalen.

3. Vriesvak ontdooien en apparaat grondig reinigen (zie hoofdstuk "Reiniging

en onderhoud").

4. Daarna de deuren open laten staan om reukvorming te voorkomen.

Invriezen en diepgevroren opslaan

In uw koelapparaat kunt u diepvriesproducten bewaren en verse leven-

smiddelen zelf invriezen.

Attentie!

• Voor het invriezen van levensmiddelen dient de temperatuur in de vrie-

sruimte –18 °C of lager te zijn.

• Let op het op het typeplaatje aangegeven vriesvermogen. Het vries-ver-

mogen is de maximale hoeveelheid verse waren die binnen 24 uur inge-

vroren kunnen worden. Als er gedurende meerdere dagen achter elkaar

ingevroren wordt, neem dan slechts 2/3 tot 3/4 van de hoeveelheid aan-

gegeven op het typeplaatje. De kwaliteit is beter, als de levensmiddelen

snel tot in de kern bevriezen.

• Warme levensmiddelen voor het invriezen laten afkoelen. De warmte leidt

tot verhoogde ijsvorming en verhoogt het energieverbruik.

• Bij het bewaren van kantenklare diepvriesproducten dient u zich beslist

aan de door de fabrikant opgegeven bewaartijd te houden.

• Eenmaal ontdooide levensmiddelen zonder verdere verwerking (berei-

den tot panklare gerechten) in geen geval een tweede keer invriezen.

• Containers met brandbare gassen of vloeistoffen kunnen lek raken door

de inwerking van koude. Explosiegevaar! Leg geen containers met brand-

bare stoffen zoals bijv. spraybussen, aanstekers, navullingen van aan-

stekers etc. in het vriesapparaat.

• Flessen en blikken mogen niet in de vriesruimte. Ze kunnen springen als

de inhoud bevriest – bij koolzuurhoudende inhoud zelfs exploderen! Leg

nooit limonades, sappen, bier, wijn, champagne etc. in de vriesruimte. Uit-

zondering: sterke drank met een zeer hoog alcoholpercentage kan in de

vriesruimte gelegd worden.

• Alle levensmiddelen voor het invriezen luchtdicht verpakken, zodat ze

niet uitdrogen, de smaak niet verloren gaat en de smaak niet op andere

diepvriesproducten overgebracht wordt.

Voorzichtig! Diepvriesartikelen niet met natte handen aanraken. De handen

kunnen daaraan vast vriezen.

1. De verpakte levensmiddelen in de laden leggen. De in te vriezen levensmid-

delen in de bovenste lade van het apparaat plaatsen. Niet-bevroren artike-

len mogen niet in aanraking komen met reeds bevroren waren omdat

anders de bevroren artikelen kunnen ontdooien.

2. Als u de maximale invrieskapaciteit wilt benutten, moet u 24 uur van te

la temperatura NOMINALE di origine preimpostata e l’indicazione della tem-

peratura indica di nuovo la temperatura di raffreddamento momentanea.

2. La funzione può essere terminata manualmente in qualsiasi istante ese-

guendo ancora una volta nella medesima sequenza i passi sopra descritti

necessari all’inserimento della funzione.

Funzione vacanza “H”

Con la funzione vacanza la temperatura il scomparto refrigerante é impo-

stata a +15°C. Con ciò lei ha la possibilità durante una lunga assenza (es.

vacanze) di tenere il vano refrigerante vuoto con la porta chiusa anziché

aperta -senza la formazione di cattivi odori sgradevoli o muffe-. Vantaggio:

non é più possibile una chiusura inavvertita delle porte tramite persone che

accedono al vostro appartamento. Senza la funzione vacanza la conse-

quenza sarebbe la formazione di odori sgradevoli e muffe .

1. Per attivare la funzione vacanza premere il tasto (C)

2. Tenere premuto il tasto + ,finché non appare sull’indicatore di temperatura

la lettera “H”. Nel display la temperatura visualizzata si modifica fino a +8°C

in passi di 1°C. Dopo aver raggiunto il valore di +8°C segue il valore +15°C

espresso con la lettera “H”. Ora l’apparecchiatura si trova nella funzione

vacanza con risparmio energetico.

Attentie! Een eventueel vastgevroren ijsbakje in geen geval met

spitse of scherpe voorwerpen losmaken. Gebruik de bijgevoegde ijs-

schraper.

Diepvrieskalender

• De symbolen op de laden geven de

diverse soorten diepvriesproducten

aan.

• De getallen geven voor iedere soort diepvriesproduct de opslagtijd in

maanden aan. Of de hoogste of de laagste waarde van de aangegeven

opslagtijd geldt, hangt af van de kwaliteit van de levensmiddelen en de

behandeling voorafgaand aan het invriezen. Voor levensmiddelen met

een hoog vetgehalte geldt altijd de laagste waarde.

Ontdooiing van het toestel

Het ontdooien van de koelruimte

Als de compressor loopt vormt zich op de achterwand van de koelruimte

een rijplaag. Deze laag wordt automatisch verwijderd, wanneer de com-

pressor stilstaat. Het dooiwater wordt in een gootje in de achterwand van

de koelruimte opgevangen en via een afvoeropening naar een verzamelbak

boven de compressor gevoerd, alwaar het verdampt.

Het ontdooien van de vriesruimte

In het vriesvak slaat het vocht dat ontstaat tijdens de werking van het appa-

raat en tijdens het openen van de deur neer. Daardoor vormt zich in de vrie-

sruimte een rijplaag. Deze dient regelmatig verwijderd te worden met

Il display della temperatura può visualizzare diverse informazioni.

• Durante il funzionamento normale viene visualizzata la temperatura attual-

mente presente nello scomparto frigorifero (temperatura EFFETTIVA).

• Durante la regolazione della temperatura, la temperatura impostata in quel

momento nello scomparto frigorifero (temperatura NOMINALE) viene

visualizzata sul display con cifre lampeggianti.

Messa in esercizio - Regolazione della temperatura

1. Inserire la spina di rete nella presa.

2. Premete il tasto ON/OFF. Si illumina la spia verde di controllo.

3. Premete il tasto „+“ (PIÙ CALDO) oppure „-“ (PIÙ FREDDO). Il display della

temperatura si commuta e visualizza, lampeggiando, la temperatura NOMI-

NALE correntemente impostata.

4. Regolate la temperatura desiderata premendo il tasto „+“ (PIÙ CALDO) e „-“

(PIÙ FREDDO) (vedi il paragrafo “Tasti di regolazione della temperatura”). Il

display della temperatura visualizza immediatamente la nuova impostazione.

Ad ogni pressione dei tasti si aumenta la temperatura di 1 ˚C.

Secondo la scienza dell'alimentazione, +5 ˚C per lo scomparto frigorifero

sono sufficienti come temperatura di conservazione.

5. Se dopo aver impostato la temperatura non viene più premuto alcun tasto,

il display della temperatura si commuta dopo breve tempo (ca. 5 sec.) e

visualizza nuovamente la temperatura REALE correntemente presente all’in-

terno dello scomparto frigorifero. Le cifre visualizzate sul display non lam-

peggiano più, bensì restano accese.

Il compressore si avvia, dopodiché funziona in automatico.

Avvertenza: in caso di modifica della regolazione, il compressore non si

avvierà immediatamente se è in corso lo sbrinamento automatico. Poiché la

temperatura di conservazione nello scomparto frigorifero viene raggiunta

rapidamente, potete riporre le vivande ed i cibi in frigorifero subito dopo

averlo acceso.

COOLMATIC

La funzione COOLMATIC è adatta per il raffreddamento rapido di grandi

quantitativi di prodotto da refrigerare nella cella refrigerante, p. es. bevan-

de, insalate in occasione di una festa.

1. Premendo il tasto COOLMATIC si inserisce la cosiddetta funzione COOLMA-

TIC e si accende la spia gialla.

bruik. Ontdooi daarom minstens éénmaal per jaar, resp. als zich een rij-

Ga als volgt te werk:

1. Verwijder de diepvriesproducten, wikkel ze in enkele lagen krantenpapier en

bewaar ze op een koele plaats.

2. Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de steker uit de contactdoos of schakel de

veiligheids-zekering uit of draai deze los.

3. Laat de deur van de vriesruimte openstaan.

4. Steek de kunststofschraper in de

opening onder de vries-ruimte en

plaats daar een schaaltje of teiltje

onder.

5. Bewaar de schraper zodat u hem

opnieuw kunt gebruiken.

6. Draai de thermostaatknop in de

gewenste stand of steek de steker

weer in het stopcontact. Na twee of

drie uur kunt u de diepvriesproduc-

ten weer terugplaatsen.

Belangrijk

Gebruik geen metalen voorwerpen om de rijplaag te verwijderen.

Gebruik geen elektrische verwarmingsapparaten o.i.d. om het ontdooi-

proces te versnellen. Houd u aan de aanwijzingen in dit boekje.

Temperatuurstijging van diepvriesproducten kan hun houdbaarheids-duur

verkorten.

Apparaat uitzetten

Als het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt:

1. Levensmiddelen uit koelruimte en vriesvak nemen.

2. Apparaat uitzetten, daartoe de temperatuurregelaar op stand “0” draaien.

3. Stekker uit het stopcontact halen of zekering uitschakelen, er resp. uithalen.

4. Diepvriesruimte ontdooien en grondig reinigen (zie hoofdstuk “Reini-ging

en onderhoud”).

La regolazione della temperatura avviene tramite i tasti „+“ (PIÙ CALDO) e

„-“ (PIÙ FREDDO).

I tasti sono collegati al display della temperatura.

• Premendo uno dei due tasti „+“ (PIÙ CALDO) oppure „-“ (PIÙ FREDDO), il

display della temperatura si commuta dalla temperatura REALE (Il display

della temperatura è acceso) sulla temperatura NOMINALE (Il display della

temperatura lampeggia).

• Ad ogni ulteriore pressione di uno dei due tasti si aumenta la temperatura

NOMINALE di 1 ˚C. La temperatura NOMINALE dovrebbe essere raggiunta

entro 24 ore.

Premendo un tasto, il display della temperatura si riporta automaticamen-

te sulla temperatura REALE dopo circa 5 secondi.

Temperatura NOMINALE significa:

la temperatura che dovrebbe essere presente all’interno dello scomparto fri-

gorifero. La temperatura NOMINALE viene visualizzata da cifre lampeg-

gianti.

Temperatura REALE significa:

il display della temperatura visualizza la temperatura effettivamente pre-

sente in quel momento nello scomparto frigorifero. La temperatura REALE

viene visualizzata da cifre che restano accese.

Reiniging en onderhoud

Om hygiënische redenen dient het apparaat aan de binnenkant met toe-

behoren geregeld gereinigd te worden.

Waarschuwing!

• Het apparaat mag tijden het schoonmaken niet op het elektriciteits-net

aangesloten zijn. Gevaar voor schokken! Zet voor het schoonmaken het

apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact of schakel c.q. draai de

zekering er uit.

• Het apparaat nooit met stoomreinigingsapparaten schoonmaken. Er kan

vocht in de elektrische onderdelen komen. Gevaar voor schokken! Hete

damp kan kunstoffen onderdelen beschadigen.

• Het apparaat dient droog te zijn voordat het weer in gebruik genomen

wordt.

Let op!

• Etherische oliën en organische oplosmiddelen kunnen kunststof onderde-

len aantasten, bijv.

– Sap van citroen– of sinaasappelschillen;

– boterzuur;

– schoonmaakmiddelen die azijnzuren bevatten.

Dergelijke substanties niet in contact brengen met apparaatonderdelen.

• Geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen gebruiken.

1. Koel– en diepvriesartikelen er uit halen. Diepvriesartikelen in meerdere

lagen kranten verpakken. Alles afgedekt op een koele plaats leggen.

2. Vriesvak voor het schoonmaken ontdooien (zie hoofdstuk “Ontdooien”).

3. Apparaat uitzetten en de stekker uit het stopcontact halen of de zeke-ring

uitschakelen c.q. er uitdraaien.

4. Apparaat en interieur met een doek en lauwwarm water schoonmaken.

Eventueel een beetje normaal afwasmiddel gebruiken.

5. Daarna met schoon water afnemen en droogmaken.

Stof op de condensor verhoogt het energieverbruik. Daarom eenmaal per

jaar de condensor aan de achterkant van het apparaat met een zachte bor-

stel of met de stofzuiger voorzichtig schoonmaken.

Collegamento elettrico

Per effettuare il collegamento eletrrico é necessario impiegare la spina

con contatto di protezionz installata conformemente alle prescrizioni

vigenti. Il fusibile elettrico deve corrispondere ad almeno 10 Ampère. Nel

caso non sia possibile accedere alla presa dopo l’installazione, é necessa-

rio prender un idoneo provvedimento per garantire nell’installazione

elettrica la separazione dalla rete dell’apparecchio (p.es. fusibile, inter-

ruttore LS, interruttore di protezione contro correnti errate oppure simi-

li con una ampiezza di apertura del contatto di almeno 3mm.

• Prima della messa in servizio, verificare se la tensione di collegamento ed

il tipo di corrente riportati sulla targa matricola corrispondono ai valori

della rete elettrica del luogo di installazione..

Tips om energie te besparen

• Het apparaat niet in de buurt van kachels, verwarmingselementen of

andere warmtebronnen plaatsen. Bij een hoge omgevingstemperatuur

werkt de compressor vaker en langer.

• Zorgen voor voldoende be- en ontluchting aan de onderkant van het

apparaat. Ventilatieopeningen nooit afdekken.

• Geen warme spijzen in het apparaat zetten. Warme spijzen eerst laten

afkoelen.

• Deur slechts zo lang open laten als nodig is.

• De temperatuur niet lager dan nodig instellen.

• Diepvriesartikelen voor het ontdooien in de koelruimte leggen. De koude

in de diepvriesartikelen wordt zo voor koeling van de koelruimte gebruikt.

• Houd de warmte afgevende verdamper, het metalen rooster aan de ach-

terzijde van het toestel, schoon.

Wat te doen als ...

Hulp bij storingen

Het kan bij een storing om kleine defecten gaan die u zelf aan de hand van

de volgende aanwijzingen kunt oplossen. Voer zelf geen verdere werk-

zaamheden uit als de volgende informatie in concrete gevallen niet verder

helpt.

Waarschuwing! Reparaties aan het koelapparaat mogen alleen door

geschoold personeel uitgevoerd worden. Door ondeskundige reparaties kun-

nen grote gevaren ontstaan voor de gebruiker. Wend u bij reparatie tot onze

klantendienst.

Nel caso sia inevitabile effettuare l’installazione accanto ad un fonte di calo-

re, é necessario mantenere le seguenti distanze minime:

– dai forni elettrici 3 cm;

– dai forni a nafta e carbone 30 cm.

Nel caso non possano essere mantenute queste distanze, é necessario inse-

rire una piastra di protezione contro il calore tra il forno e l’apparecchio

refrigerante.

Se l’apparecchio refrigerante è posto accanto ad un altro apparecchio refri-

gerante oppure congelante é necessario mantenere una distanza laterale di

5 cm, allo scopo di evitare che si possa formare della condensa sui lati ester-

ni degli apparecchi.

Pertano l’apparecchio dovrebbe

– non essere esposto direttamente ai raggi solari;

– non essere messo accanto ad elementi di calore oppure ad un forno o altre

simili fonti di calore;

– essere messo in un luogo la cui temperatura ambientale corrisponda alla

classe climatica per la quale é stato concepito.

Informazione sull’imballaggio dell’apparecchio

Tutti i materiali di produzione impiegati sono tollerabili perl’ambiente! Que-

sti possono essere depositati senza pericoli oppure smaltiti nell’impianto

bruciatore di rifiuti urbani!

Riguardo i materiali di produzione: I materiali sintetici possono essere anche

riciclati e sono contrassegnati nella seguente maniera:

>PE< per politilene, p. es. nell’involucro esterno e nei sacchetti all’interno.

>PS< per polistirolo schiumoso, p.es. nei pezzi di imbottitura, in linea di

massima privi di propellenti.

I pezzi di cartone vengono realizzati con carta riciclata e devono essere

rimessi nella raccolta della carta vecchia.

Smaltimento di apparecchi vecchi

Per motivi ecologici é necessario smaltire conformemente gli apparecchi

vecchi. Ciò vale sia per il Vostro apparecchio finora usato ed anche per il

Vostro apparecchio nuovo.

Attenzione! Gli apparecchi vecchi che non servono più, devono essere resi

inutilizzabili prima dello smaltimento. Estrarre la spina di rete, spezzare il

cavo di rete, rimuovere oppure distruggere le eventuali chiusure lampo di

bloccaggio. Mediante ciò si evita che si possano chiudere dentro dei

bambini che giocano (pericolo di soffocamento!) oppure che possano

trovarsi in altre situazioni pericolose per la vita.

Avvertenze sullo smaltimento :

• L’apparecchio non deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani o ingom-

branti.

• Il circuito refrigerante, in particolare lo scambiatore di calore situato nel-

la parte inferiore dell’apparecchio, non deve essere danneggiato.

• Le informazioni concernenti i termini del ritiro oppure dei luoghi di rac-

colta sono accessibili presso l’amministrazione comunale locale.

Rimuovere la sicura del trasporto

L’apparecchio nonché gli accessori interni sono protetti per il traporto

• Rimuovere dall’interno dell’apparecchio tutti i nastri adesivi nonchè i pez-

zi di imbottitura.

6. De afdekking weer monteren en de bevestigingsschroef aandraaien.

• Molto spesso i bambini non possono rendersi conto dei pericoli a cui sono

esposti durante il maneggio con gli apparecchi domestici. Pertanto è

necessario prendere degli idonei provvedimenti di salvaguardia eviatando

inoltre di lasciar giocare i bambini con tali apparecchi!!

Nel servizio quotidiano

• I contentitori di gas infiammabili oppure liquidi mediante l’effetto del

freddo possono perdere la propria ermeticità. Pericolo di espolsione! Non

immagazzinare mai dei contenitori con sostanze infiammabili, come p.es.

bombole spray, accendini e cartucce di rifornimento, ecc. nell’apparecchio

refrigerante.

• Le bottiglie e le lattine non devono essere collocatenella cella di congela-

mento. Queste possono scoppiare non appena si congela il contenuto,

mentre i liquidi contenenti anidride carbonica possono addirittura esplo-

dere! Non collocare mai della limonata, succhi, birra,vino, spumante, ecc.

Ad eccezione: I superalcoolici possono essere immagazzinati nella cella di

congelamento.

• Non ingoiare i gelati oppure i cubetti di ghiaccio appena estratti dalla cel-

la di congelamento. Il gelato oppure ghiaccio molto freddo si può conge-

lare alla lingua o alle labbra e causare quindi delle ferite.

• Non toccare i prodotti congelati con le mani bagnate. Le mani si potreb-

bero congelare sul prodotto.

• Non impiegare mai dei piccoli elettrodomestici (p.es. macchine elettriche

da gelato, mescolatori, ecc.) nell’apparecchio refrigerante.

• Prima di eseguire i lavori di pulizia, é necessario disinserire l’apparecchio,

estrarre la spina oppure disinserire rispett. svitare il fusibile dell’abitazione.

• Estrarre la spina di rete dalla presa tirando sempre dalla parte della spina,

mai dal cavo.

Nel caso di un disturbo

• Se nell’apparecchio dovesse verificarsi per qualche volta un disturbo, si

prega di leggere in queste istruzioni per l’uso sotto “ Che cosa fare, se...”.

Nel caso non siano sufficienti le avvertenze riportate, si prega di non ese-

guire ulteriori lavori atunomi di riparazione

• Gli apparecchi refrigeranti devono essere riparati esclusivamente da perso-

ne specializzate. Mediante le riparazioni non appropriate possono crearsi

dei notevoli pericoli. Nel caso della necessità di una riparazione, si prega di

rivolgersi al proprio fornitore oppure presso il nostro servizio di assistenza.

fabricage zijn speciaal die maatregelen genomen die vereist zijn vol-

gens de Duitse wet op de veiligheid van toestellen (GSG), volgens de

Duitse voorschriften ter voorkoming van ongevallen bij koude-

installaties (VBG 20) en volgens de bepalingen van de ver-eniging

van Duitse elektotechnici (VDE). De koudecirculatie is op dichtheid

Aan de hand van deze nummers kan onze service-afdeling de juiste

voorbereidingen treffen, zodat de machine bij het eerste bezoek van de

servicetechnicus weer hersteld kan worden. Op deze manier hoeft u sle-

chts één maal thuis te blijven.

Als u toch voor één van de in deze gebruiksaanwijzing vermelde sto-

ringen of vanwege foutieve bediening de AEG-service afdeling

inschakelt, wordt dit bezoek ook tijdens de garantietermijn niet door

onze garantiebepalingen gedekt.

Elektrische toestellen van AEG voldoen aan de betreffende veiligheids-

bepalingen.

Reparaties aan elektische toestellen mogen alleen door vakmensen wor-

den uitgevoerd. Onvakkundige reparaties kunnen tot aanzienlijke risico’s

voor de gebruiker leiden. Wend u daarom altijd tot de AEG service-

afdeling. Voor reparaties uitgevoerd door anderen kan AEG geen aan-

sprakelijkheid aanvaarden. Alleen originele AEG-onderdelen voldoen

aan alle eisen!

Onze service-afdeling voert reparaties uit overeenkomstig de voorwaar-

den die tussen de Consumentenbond en de VLEHAN (Vereniging Leve-

ranciers Elektrotechnische Huishoudelijke Apparaten Nederland) zijn

overeengekomen.

• Per motivi si sicureza non é consentito in nessun caso apportare delle

modifiche o trasformazioni.

• Nel caso si voglia impiegare l’apparecchio refrigerante nell’ambito

imprenditoriale oppure per scopi differenti dal raffreddamento, congela-

mento di prodotti alimentari, si prega di osservare le disposizioni de legge

vigenti per il Vostro settore.

Prima della prima messa in servizio

• Verificare l’apparecchio su eventuali danni causati dal trasporto. Non col-

legare in nessun caso un apparecchio danneggiato! In caso di danni rivol-

gersi al fornitore..

Sostanza refrigerante

L’apparecchio contiene nel circuito refrigerante un gas naturale denomina-

to Isobutano (R600a), avente una elevata tolleranza per l’ambiente, il quale

é tuttavia infiammabile.

• Osservare durante il trasporto e l’installazione dell’apparecchio che non

venga danneggiato alcun elemento delcircuito refrigerante.

• In caso di danneggiamenti al circuito refrigerante:

– evitare assolutamente fiamme libere e fonti incendianti;

– provvedere ad una buona aerazione del locale in cui si trova l’apparecchio.

Sicurezza dei bambini

• I pezzi di imballaggio (p.es. foglie, polistirolo) possono essere pericolosi per

i bambini. Pericolo di soffocamento! Mantenere il metriale di imballaggio

The safety aspects of our refrigerators/freezers comply with accepted tech-

nical standards and the German Appliance Safety Law. Nevertheless, we

consider it our obligation to make you aware of the following safety infor-

mation:

Intended use

• The refrigerator is intended for use in the home. It is suitable for the coo-

ling, freezing and storing of frozen food, as well as for making ice. If the

appliance is used for purposes other than those intended or used incor-

rectly, no liability can be accepted by the manufacturer for any damage

that may be caused.

• Alterations or changes to the freezer are not permitted for reasons of

safety.

• If you use the refrigerator in a commercial application or forpurposes

other than the cooling, freezing or frozen storage of foods,please obser-

ve all valid legal regulations for your application.

Prior to initial start–up

• Check the refrigerator for transport damage. Under no circumstance

should a damaged appliance be plugged in! In the event of damage, please

contact the vendor.

Refrigerant

The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit

of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compa-

tibility, which is nevertheless flammable.

• During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that

none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

• If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:

– avoid open flames and sources of ignition;

– thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.

Safety of children

• Packaging (e.g. wraps, polystyrene) can be dangerous for children. There is

a risk of suffocation! Keep packaging material away from children!

• Please make old appliances unusable prior to disposal. Pull out the mains

plug, cut off the mains cable, break or remove spring or boltcatches, if fit-

ted. By doing this you ensure that children cannot lock themselves in the

• Often children cannot recognise the hazards present in household

appliances. It is therefore important that you ensure adequate supervision

and never let children play with the appliance!

Daily Operation

• Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures.

There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any containers with flamma-

ble materials such as, for example, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill car-

tridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer.

• Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer compartment. They can

burst when the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even

explode! Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in

the freezer compartment. Exception: high alcohol content spirits can be

stored in the freezer compartment.

• Do not put ice creams or ice cubes in the mouth immediately after remo-

val from the freezer compartment. Very cold ice can freeze to the lips or

tongue and cause injury.

• Do not touch frozen food with wet hands. Your hands could freeze to the

food.

• Do not operate any electrical appliances in the refrigerator/freezer (e.g.

electric ice cream makers, mixers etc.).

• Before cleaning the appliance, always switch off the appliance and unplug

it, or pull the house fuse or switch off the circuit breaker.

• When unplugging always pull the plug from the mains socket, do not pull

on the cable.

In case of malfunction

• If the a malfunction occurs on the appliance, please look first in the "What

Disposal

Appliance Packaging Information

All materials are environmentally sound! They can be dumped or burned at

an incinerating plant without danger!

About the materials: The plastics can be recycled and are identified as fol-

lows:

>PE< for polyethylene, e.g. the outer covering and the bags in the interior.

>PS< for polystyrene foam, e.g. the pads, which are all free of chlorofluo-

rocarbon.

The carton parts are made from recycled paper and should be disposed of

at a waste-paper recycling collection location.

Disposal of old Appliances

For environmental reasons, refrigeration appliances must be disposed of

properly. This applies to your old appliance, and - at the end of its service

life - for your new appliance as well.

Warning! Before disposing of old appliances make them inoperable. Remo-

ve plug from mains, sever the power cable, remove or destroy any snap or

latch closures. This eliminates the danger that playing children lock them-

selves into the appliance (danger of suffocation!) or place themselves into

other life-endangering situations.

Disposal:

• The appliance may not be disposed of with domestic waste or bulky refu-

se.

• The refrigerant circuit, especially the heat exchanger at the back of the

appliance, may not be damaged.

• Information concerning collection schedules or locations can be obtained

from the local disposal authorities or town hall.

If installation next to a source of heat is unavoidable, the following mini-

mum clearances must be maintained at the sides of the appliance:

– for electric cookers 3 cm;

– for oil and coal fired ranges 30 cm.

If these clearances cannot be maintained a heat insulating pad is required

between the cooker and the refrigeration appliance.

If the refrigeration appliance is installed next to another refrigerator or free-

zer a clearance of 5 cm at the sides is required, in order to prevent the for-

mation of condensation on the outside of the appliance.

Installation

Installation Location

The appliance should be set up in a well ventilated, dry room.

Energy use is affected by the ambient temperature. The appliance should

therefore

– not be exposed to direct sunlight;

– not be installed next to radiators, cookers or other sources of heat;

– only be installed at a location whose ambient temperature corresponds to

the climate classification, for which the appliance is designed.

The climate classification can be found on the serial plate, which is located

at the left on the inside of the appliance.

The following table shows which ambient temperature is correct for each

climate classification: each climate classification:

in several layers of newspaper. Store it in a cool place, well covered.

2. Defrost the freezer compartment prior to cleaning (see "Defrosting" sec-

tion).

3. Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off

or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.

4. Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm

water. Commercially available dish washing detergents may also be used.

5. After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry.

Accumulation of dust at the condenser increases energy consumption. For

this reason carefully clean the condenser at the back of the appliance once

a year with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.

Energy Saving Tips

• Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other sources of

warmth. High ambient temperatures cause longer, more frequent opera-

tion of the compressor.

• Ensure sufficient air circulation and exhaust at the appliance base and at

the back wall of the appliance. Never cover air vent openings.

• Do not place warm foods into the appliance. Allow warm foods to cool

first.

• Only leave door open as long as necessary.

• Do not set temperature any colder than necessary.

• Put frozen food in the fridge to defrost. The cold in the frozen food will

then be used to cool the fridge.

• Keep the heat emitting condenser, the metall grille on the rear wall of

your appliance, always clean.

What to do if ...

Correcting Malfunctions

A malfunction may be caused by only a minor fault that you can rectify

yourself using the following instructions. Do not perform any other work on

the appliance if the following information does not provide assistance in

your specific case.

Prior to Initial Start–Up

• Please clean the appliance interior and all accessories prior to initial start-

up (see section: “Cleaning and Care”).

Electrical connection

Before initial start-up, refer to the appliance rating plate to ascertain if sup-

ply voltage and current values correspond with those of the mains at the

installation location.

e.g.: AC 220 ... 240 V 50 Hz or

220 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz

(i.e. 220 to 240 volts alternating current, 50 Hertz)

The rating plate is inside the appliance on the left.

A correctly installed, earthed socket is required for the electrical supply. The

supply must have a fuse rating of at least 10 Amps.

If the socket is not accessible once the appliance is built in, the electrical

installation must include suitable means of isolating the appliance from the

mains (e.g. fuse, cut-out, current trip or similar with a minimum contact

separation of 3 mm).

Attention: The mains connection cable may only be replaced by a skilled

electrician. Please contact your dealer or our customer service department

for repairs.

Cleaning and Care

For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories,

should be cleaned regularly.

Warning!

• The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning. Dan-

ger of electrical shock! Before cleaning switch the appliance offand rem

ve the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker

or fuse.

• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumu-

late in electrical components, danger of electrical shock! Hot vapours can

lead to the damage of plastic parts.

• The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.

Attention!

• Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g.

– lemon juice or the juice from orange peals;

– butyric acid;

– cleansers which contain acetic acid.

Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts.

• Do not use any abrasive cleansers.

Temperature setting buttons

The temperature is adjusted using the „+“ (WARMER) and „-“ (COLDER) but-

tons. These buttons are connected to the temperature display.

• The temperature display is switched over from the display of the ACTUAL

temperature (Temperature display is illuminated) to the display of the DESI-

RED temperature (Temperature display flashes) by pressing one of the two

buttons, „+“ (WARMER) or „-“ (COLDER).

• Each time one of the two buttons is pressed again the DESIRED temperatu-

re is adjusted by 1 °C. The DESIRED temperature must be reached within 24

hours.

If neither button is pressed, the temperature display automatically switches

back after a short period (approx. 5 sec.) to the display of the ACTUAL tem-

perature.

DESIRED temperature means:

The temperature that has been selected for inside the fridge. The DESIRED

temperature is indicated by flashing numbers.

ACTUAL temperature means:

The temperature display indicates the current temperature inside the fridge.

The ACTUAL temperature is indicated with illuminated numbers.

Defrosting

Refrigerator

Frost is automatically eliminated

from the evaporator of the refrigera-

tor compartment every time the

motor compressor stops, during nor-

mal use. The defrost water drains out

through a trough into a special con-

tainer at the back of the appliance,

over the motor compressor, where it

evaporates.

Freezer

The freezer compartment, however, will become progrssively covered with

frost. This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whe-

never the tickness of the frost exceeds 4 mm. During this operation it is not

necessary to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.

However when the ice becomes very thick on the inner liner, complete

defrosting should be carried out as follows:

1. Remove the frozen food from the

freezer, wrap it in several layers of

newspaper and put it in a very cool

place.

2. Switch off the appliance and pull out

the plug, or remove or unscrew the

safety fuses.

3. Leave the freezer compartment door

open.

4. Insert the plastic scraper into the

recess provided under the defrost

water channel and place a collecting

basin under it.

5. Once defrosting is completed keep the scraper for future use;

6. Turn the thermostat knob to the required setting or replace the plug in the

power socket.

Warning!

Never use metal tools to scrape off the frost

Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the

• During normal operation, the temperature currently present in the fridge

(ACTUAL temperature) is displayed.

• When the temperature is being adjusted a flashing display indicates the

fridge temperature currently set (DESIRED temperature).

Starting Up - Setting the Temperature

1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket.

2. Press ON/OFF button. The green mains pilot indicator illuminates.

3. Press either the „+“ (WARMER) or „-“ (COLDER) button. The temperature

display switches over and the DESIRED temperature currently set flashes on

the temperature display.

4. Set the required temperature by pressing the „+“ (WARMER) or „-“ (COLDER)

buttons (see section "Temperature setting buttons"). The temperature

display will immediately show the changed setting. Each time the button is

pressed the temperature is adjusted by 1 °C.

From a food safety point of view +5 °C should be considered sufficiently

cold for storing food in the fridge.

5. Once the required temperature has been set, after a short period (approx. 5

sec.) the temperature display will change and again indicate the current

ACTUAL temperature inside the fridge. The display will change from flashing

to continuous illumination.

The compressor will start and then run automatically.

Information! When the setting is changed, the compressor does not start

immediately if automatic defrosting is currently taking place. As the stora-

ge temperature within the fridge is reached quickly you can store food

immediately after switching on.

COOLMATIC

The COOLMATIC function is suited for quick cooling of large quantities of

goods in the refrigerator, e.g. drinks and salads for a party.

1. The COOLMATIC function is switched on by pressing the COOLMATIC but-

ton. The yellow light illuminates.

The COOLMATIC function now provides for intensive cooling. A DESIRED

temperature of +2 ˚C is automatically selected. The COOLMATIC function is

ended automatically after a period of 6 hours. The originally selected DESI-

RED temperature is again valid. The temperature display shows the ACTUAL

refrigerator temperature.

2. The COOLMATIC function can be ended manually at any time by pressing

the COOLMATIC button again. The yellow light goes out.

Freezing Calendar

• The symbols on the drawers show different types of frozen goods.

• The numbers indicate storage times

in months for the appropriate

types of frozen goods. Whether

the upper or lower value of the

indicated storage time is valid

depends on the quality of the

foods and pre-treating before

freezing. The lower value applies to

foods with high fat content.

Preparation of Ice Cubes

1. Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 full with cold water, place it in the freezer com-

partment and leave to freeze.

2. To loosen the frozen cubes, either bend the ice cube tray or hold it under

running water for a few seconds.

Important! Never try to free an ice tray that is frozen to the freezer com-

partment using pointed or sharp edged objects. Use the ice scraper supplied.

Caution! Do not touch frozen food with wet hands. Your hands could free-

ze to the food.

1. Place the packed food in the drawers. Place food to be frozen in the upper

compartment. Unfrozen food must not touch items already frozen,

otherwise the frozen food could begin to defrost.

2. Place frozen foods in the drawers sorted by type, as far as possible.

Interior Accessories

Storage Shelves

The glass shelf above the fruit and

vegetable compartment should

always remain in position, to ensure

fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer.

The remaining storage shelves can be

adjusted to various heights:

Pull the storage shelf forward until it

can be tipped up or down and remo-

ved.

To insert at a different height use the

same procedure in reverse.

Adjustment for tall goods:

Remove the front half of the two-part vario glass storage shelf and insert it

at a different level. Space is thus gained for storage of tall goods on the

underlying storage shelf.

Variable Inner Door

The door compartments can be pulled up and removed, and inserted at

other positions as needed.

Holiday function

The hloiday function sets the temperature at +15°C. This function allows

you to keep the refrigerator shut and empty during a long holiday period

(e.g.) the summer holidays) without the formation of a bad smell. If the door

is left open it can be accidentally shut by persons that haveaccess to the

apartment during your absence with the consequent formation of bad

smells. The holiday function avoids all this.

1. To turn on the holiday function, press button (C).

2. Keep button “+” pressed until the letter “H” (Holiday) appears on the tem-

perature indicator. The temperature indicator can modify the displayed

temperature up to +8°C, 1° at a tim. 8°C will be followed by +15°C, expres-

sed by the letter “H”. Now the refrigerator is in the “holiday” function in the

energy-saving mode.

Freezing and storing frozen food

You can use your freezer for freezing fresh food yourself.

Important!

• The temperature in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder

before freezing food.

• Please observe the freezing capacity given on the rating plate. The free-

zing capacity is the maximum quantity of fresh food that can be frozen

within a period of 24 hours. If you wish to freeze food several days in a

row, please observe a maximum capacity of only 2/3 to 3/4 of that on the

rating plate. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen

right through to the core as quickly as possible.

• Allow warm food to cool down before freezing. The warmth will cause

increased ice formation and increase the power consumption.

• Please note the maximum storage times specified by the manufacturer.

• Thawed foods which have not been processed further (cooked into meals)

may not under any circumstances be frozen a second time.

• Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures.

There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any containers with flamma-

ble materials such as, for example, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill car-

tridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer.

• Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer. They can burst when

the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even explode!

Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in the free-

zer. Exception: high alcohol content spirits can be stored in the freezer.

• All foods must be packed air tight prior to freezing, so that they do not

dry out or lose their flavour, and so that no flavour contamination of

other frozen goods occurs.

If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period:

1. Switch off the appliance, holding down the ON/OFF button until the display

goes off (see above).

2. Remove the mains plug or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.

3. Defrost the freezer compartment and clean the appliance thoroughly (see

section: “Cleaning and Maintenance”).

4. Finally, leave the doors open so as to avoid a build up of odours.

Moisture regulator

There is an adjustable air grille in front of the shelf above the fruit and vege-

table compartments.

The opening in the ventilation slots can be adjusted with the slider.

Right slider: Ventilation slots opened.

With the ventilation slots open, more air circulation results in a lower air

moisture content in the fruit and vegetable compartments.

Left slider: Ventilation slots closed.

When the ventilation slots are closed,

the natural moisture content of the

food in the fruit and vegetable com-

partments is preserved for longer.

Variable Storage Box

Some models are equipped with a

variable storage box which is fitted

under a door shelf compartment and

can be slid sideways.

The box can be inserted under any

door shelf compartment.

1. To change the position of the stora-

ge box; lift the shelf compartment

with the box upwards and out of the

holders in the door and remove the

retaining bracket out of the guide

under the shelf compartment.

2. Reverse the above operation to insert

the shelf at a different height.

From a food safety point of view -18 °C should be considered sufficiently

cold for storing food in the freezer.

5. The buzzer stops,when the set temperature is reached.Press the alarm but-

ton to turn off the alarm light

Ice pack

There is an ice pack in one drawer of the freezer.

In the event of a power failure or malfunction, the ice pack will lengthen

the amount of time it takes for the frozen food to become too warm by

several hours. The ice pack can only fulfil this task optimally if it is placed in

the uppermost drawer, at the front, above the frozen food. You can use the

ice pack for cooling cold bags.

FROSTMATIC

The FROSTMATIC function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the

same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming.

1. The FROSTMATIC function is switched on by pressing the FROSTMATIC but-

ton. The yellow light illuminates.

If the FROSTMATIC function is not ended manually, the appliance electro-

nics switch off the FROSTMATIC function after 24 hours. The yellow light

goes out.

2. The FROSTMATIC function can be ended manually at any time by pressing

the FROSTMATIC button again. The yellow light goes out.

Alarm reset button

In the event of an abnormal temperature rise inside the freezer (e.g. power

cut) warning light (O) will start to flash and a buzzer will sound.

After the temperature has returned to normal, the warning light (O) will

continue to flash, although the buzzer has stopped.

When the alarm button is pressed, the warmest temperature reached in the

compartment flashes on the indicator.

Switching the Appliance off

To switch off, hold down the ON/OFF button for approx. 5 seconds. This will

result in a countdown from "3" to "1" taking place in the temperature

display. On reaching "1" the fridge will switch off. The temperature display

will go off.

Note:

The appliance cannot be switched on or off if unplugged, or if there is no

power being supplied to it. Following connection to the mains power sup-

ply, the appliance returns to the same operating state as before the inter-

ruption of main power.

Fresh food refrigeration

To obtain the best performance:

• do not store warm food or evaporating liquide in the refrigeator

• do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour.

• Position food so that air can circuiate freely round it.

Useful hints:

Meat (all types): wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the

vegetable drawer(s)For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the

most.

Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc: these should be covered and may be placed

on any shelf.

Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the

special drawer(s) provided.

Butter and cheese: these should be placed in special airtight containers or wap-

ped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible.

Milk bootles: these should have a cap and should be stored in the bottle rack

on the door.

Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the

refrigerator.
