(EN) IN-OUT THERMO MOOD-LIGHT CLOCK WITH RADIO CONTROLLED CLOCK MODEL: 275947 User’s Manual (EN) INSTRUCTION Congratulations on your purchase of this new in-out thermo mood-light clock. This unique product is designed for everyday use for the home or office and is a definite asset of great use. To fully benefit from all the features and understand the correct operation of this product, please read this instruction manual thoroughly. FUNCTIONS OF THE IN-OUT THERMO MOOD-LIGHT CLOCK This In-Out thermo mood-light clock measures the environment of its surrounding area and receives temperature data transmitting from up to 3 outdoor sensors. The data is continuously updated to bring you the latest temperature information displayed on the LCD of the receiving unit. Besides, it has a changeable mood light color to alert user for different temperature range. M D C F B A G E L I H J K ~2~ (EN) FEATURES: MAIN UNIT A. Low battery indicator for remote sensor The low battery icon in the upper LCD indicates the battery condition of the corresponding remote sensor. When low battery icon appears, the displayed sensor temperature is no longer reliable. The user must change batteries at once. B. Indoor indicator Indicates the indoor temperature is displayed. C. Outdoor remote sensor indicator Indicates the current outdoor remote sensor signal received. It can display up to 3 different remote sensors which are placed in 3 different places and within 30 meters (100 feet) distance from the main unit. D. Auto scroll indicator The animated rolling arrow icon is shown to indicate the auto scroll of indoor temperature and 3 different outdoor temperatures. E. Indoor and outdoor maximum temperature indicator Indicate the maximum indoor temperature or the maximum outdoor temperature in the displayed channel. F. Indoor and outdoor minimum temperature indicator Indicate the minimum indoor temperature or the minimum outdoor temperature in the displayed channel. G. Mood Light Indicator Indicate the mood light changes according to indoor temperature or channel #1 temperature. H. Low battery indicator for main unit Shown to indicate the battery in the main unit is low and all displayed information in LCD is no longer reliable. The user needs to change the batteries at once. I. Alarm on icon Appears when alarm is enabled. J. Clock window Displays DCF-77 radio controlled Clock, Calendar or Alarm time. K. Radio reception tower Indicates the condition of DCF-77 radio controlled time reception. L. Temperature window Displays indoor or outdoor temperature M. Colorful mood light The colorful mood light will be only available with the power supplied from a plug-in DC adaptor. ~3~ (EN) DESCRIPTION OF BUTTONS The In-Out thermo mode-light clock has 6 major function buttons on the front side and 1 major function buttons on the rear side. 1. [MANUAL-MOOD-ALERT] SLIDE SWITCH This slide switch has three positions to slide: MANUAL, MOOD, and ALERT. In MANUAL position, press the top of the main unit to turn on mood light for 10 seconds. While mood light is on, every press on the key will extend the light for another 10 seconds. In MOOD position, the mood light will light up permanently and change its color continuously. In ALERT position, the alert light will light up permanently and change its color according to measured ambient temperature on indoor or channel #1 remote sensor. Note: The mood & alert light will be only available when connecting with the DC adaptor. 2. [MODE] Toggle for Clock, Calendar or Alarm display mode. Note: The main unit will auto exit to clock display mode if no key entry for 10 seconds. Press & hold 2 seconds to activate the setting mode of Clock-Calendar or Alarm time. 3. [▲] Press once to increase the setting in Clock/Calendar or Alarm time setting mode. Press & hold 2 seconds to manually activate or deactivate the radio controlled function permanently. 4. [▼] Press once to decrease the setting in Clock/Calendar or Alarm time setting mode. Toggle Daily Alarm on/off while in Alarm display mode. 5. [CH] Press shortly to toggle display of Indoor temperature, remote thermo from Channel #1, Channel #2 and Channel #3 to Auto-scroll mode which alternately display indoor temperature and the three remote temperatures. Note: when in the Auto-scroll mode, scrolling time for Indoor and each channel is 4 seconds. Only registered channel(s) will be shown up in ~4~ 6. 7. - 8. - - (EN) the Auto-scroll mode, unregistered channel(s) will be skipped. Press & hold 2 seconds to activate or deactivate searching mode for remote sensor. [MEM] Toggle to view the Max/Min reading of the Indoor & Outdoor temperature. Press & hold 2 seconds to clear the Max/Min temperature memories of Indoor & all Remote. [ALERT] Press & hold 2 seconds to enter Mood Light setting mode, use [▲] or [▼] button to set Mood Light alert according to Indoor temperature or Channel #1 temperature. Press [ALERT] to confirm. And one button on the bottom [SNOOZE-LIGHT] Press the top of the main unit to activate [SNOOZE-LIGHT] button to turn on backlight for 10 seconds. Meanwhile, the mood light will be light up for 10 seconds if the main unit is connecting with the DC adaptor and the [MANUAL-MOOD-ALERT] slide switch is in the MANUAL position. Stop alarm sound temporary for 5 minutes when alarm sounds. Note: When the clock is beeping, pressing any button will stop it except the [SNOOZE- LIGHT] button. BATTERY INSTALLATION FOR MAIN UNIT 1. Remove the battery door. 2. Insert 3 pieces AAA size 1.5V alkaline battery as indicate by the polarity; 3. Close the battery door. Note: Replace the batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the top-middle of the lower LCD. BATTERY INSTALLATION FOR REMOTE SENSOR 1. Remove the battery door. 2. Insert 2 pieces AAA size 1.5V alkaline battery as indicate by the polarity; 3. Close the battery door. Note: Replace the batteries when the low battery indicator in each channel appears on the top-left of the upper LCD. ~5~ (EN) GETTING STARTED This In-Out thermo mood-light clock was designed for easy set up. For best operation, the following steps are required to be done in the proper sequence. 1. Insert batteries to the main unit, it will automatically search the remote sensors (while they are in effective transmission range) for 2 minutes and then receive RCC signal for 10 minutes. Note: Main unit can’t be programmed manually during RF searching and RCC reception. 2. Insert batteries to the remote sensor and set it to desired channel by pressing [CH] button. 3. The main unit will show the temperature reading of the remote sensor in corresponding channel if it receives the RF signal and registers the remote sensor successfully. 4. Position the remote unit and main unit within effective transmission range, which is, in usual circumstances, is 30 meters (100 feet). The remote sensor should be placed away from direct sunlight, rain or snow. WIRELESS REMOTE SENSOR REGISTRATION PROCEDURE Within 2 minutes of power up the main unit, activates the sensor as follows: 1. Insert the 2 AAA batteries into the sensor unit while the ‘ ’ icon in the main unit is flashing to prompt the user that the main unit is in sensor searching mode. 2. The LED on the front panel of the sensor will start flashing at a rate of one time per around 2 seconds to indicate channel#1 is in use. While the LED is flashing, press once the [CH] key will change the sensor channel setting to #2. Keep toggle on [CH] key can change channel setting up to #3. The LED is blinking at a frequency to indicate the channel setting. i.e. continuous blinking 2 times indicates channel #2 is selected. If no key entry for 10 seconds, it will exit the channel setting mode and transmit the RF signal of the temperature reading. 3. The main unit will show the temperature reading of the remote sensor in corresponding channel if it receives the RF signal and registers the remote sensor successfully. 4. The ‘ ’ icon in main unit will stop flashing after two minutes to prompt user that it already exits sensor searching mode. In this case, the user ~6~ (EN) must press and hold [CH] button for 2 seconds to re-enter sensor searching mode and repeat above steps if he wants to register a new remote sensor. REMOTE CHANNEL AUTO-SCROLLING This device is equipped with an Auto-scroll function. While the Auto-scroll function is set, the main unit will automatically cycle to display the indoor temperature and the temperature of each remote sensor for 4 seconds. 1. To manually retrieve the specific sensor temperature reading, press [CH] key until desired channel number is displayed. 2. To enable Auto-scroll function, use [CH] button to select channel #1, #2, ... until auto scroll icon appears beside the channel indicator. DCF-77 RADIO CONTROLLED CLOCK The radio-controlled time is calculated by the Cesium Atomic clock of Braunschweig (official clock of Germany). Then the time is coded and transmitted from Mainflingen - near Frankfurt - via a signal on DCF-77 (77.5 kHz). The transmitting range of the signal is 1500 km, which means that most of Western and Central Europe is covered by this signal. Within this range the received time is completely accurate. Once sensor signal(s) are received, the wave icon will flash to indicate that the receiving unit starts to receive the DCF radio controlled time signal. Radio Controlled wave icon indicates 4 levels of signal status: Very weak Weak Mediu Strong As soon as the time signal is received, the wave icon will stay on the LCD, and time and calendar will automatically be updated. Note: During the 10-minute time signal reception, all manual key input will be ignored. In addition, the continuous mood light or Alert light will be turn off temporary until reception is over. You can also press and hold [▲] key for 2 seconds to manually activate the reception in normal mode. SET THE CLOCK, CALENDAR & TEMPERATURE UNIT 1. Press & hold [MODE] button for 2 seconds to enter clock setting mode. Flashing 24Hr will appear. 2. Press [▲] or [▼] button to switch between 24Hr and 12Hr format, and then press [MODE] button to confirm. ~7~ (EN) 3. The hour digits will flash. Use the [▲] button to increase by one hour or [▼] button to decease by one hour to your desired hours. Holding down either button will change the increment unit rapidly. Press [MODE] button to confirm. 4. The minute digits will flash. Use the [▲] or [▼] button to set your desired minutes. Holding down either button will change the increment unit rapidly. Press [MODE] button to confirm. Note: Every change of minute digit will automatically reset the seconds to zero. 5. The year digits will flash. Use the [▲] or [▼] button to set your desired years. Holding down either button will change the increment unit rapidly. Press [MODE] button to confirm. Note: Year range is from 2000 to 2099. 6. The DATE-MONTH/MONTH-DATE digits will flash. Use the [▲] or [▼] button to choose DATE-MONTH or MONTH-DATE, press [MODE] button to confirm. Then use the [▲] or [▼] button to set your desired months and days. Holding down either button will change the increment unit rapidly. Press [MODE] button to confirm. 7. The °C/ °F digits will flash. Press [▲] or [▼] button to switch between °C(Centigrade) and °F(Fahrenheit) temperature format, and then press [MODE] button to confirm. Note: If no key press during setting mode for 10 seconds, it will automatically keep the setting and exit to normal display. SET THE DAILY ALARM 1. In Alarm time display mode, press & hold [MODE] button for 2 seconds, the hour digits will flash. Use the [▲] or [▼] button to set your desired alarm hours, then the minute digits will flash. Use the [▲] or [▼] button to set your desired alarm minutes. Holding down either button will change the increment unit rapidly. Press [MODE] button to confirm. 2. In alarm time display mode, press [▼] button once to toggle between enable or disable the daily alarm. 3. When alarm is beeping, press any button will stop it except the [SNOOZE-LIGHT] button. Press the [SNOOZE-LIGHT] button will stop alarm sound temporary for 5 minutes. ~8~ (EN) HOW TO READ INDOOR/OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE 1. When it displays the indoor temperature (not Auto-scrolling), press [CH] button once to switch to channel #1 and display the channel #1 temperature, press [CH] button again will switch to next channel. The sequences are: Indoor→ Channel #1→ Channel #2 →Channel #3 →Auto-Scrolling→ (repeat). 2. In Auto-scroll mode, the upper LCD will alternately display indoor temperature and the registered remote temperatures for 4 seconds. Note: Only registered remote channel(s) will be shown up in the Autoscroll mode and unregistered channel(s) will be skipped. The “--._°C” or “--._°F” will display to prompt the user for a RF loss link in a specific sensor channel. 3. When received indoor temperature is over +60°C (+140.0°F) or outdoor temperature is over +70°C (+158.0°F), “HH.H” will appear on the upper LCD. When received indoor temperature is below -10°C (+14.0°F) or outdoor temperature is below -50°C (-58.0°F), “LL.L” will appear on the upper LCD. HOW TO SET ALERT LIGHT ON INDOOR/CHANNEL #1 Press & hold [ALERT] button for 2 seconds to enter Alert Light setting mode. Press [▲] or [▼] button to select Alert Light monitor according to Indoor temperature or Channel #1 temperature. Press [ALERT] to confirm. Note: The channel #1 Alert light is available only if the channel #1 has been registered successfully. 1. While the Alert lighting color is set to monitor indoor temperature, the color of Alert light and LCD backlight will change according to temperature as in Table 1. FONCTIONS DE L’HORLOGE À ÉCLAIRAGE D’AMBIANCE ET THERMOMÈTRE INT/EXT Cette horloge à éclairage d’ambiance et thermomètre int/ext mesure son environnement proche et peut recevoir les données de température transmises par trois capteurs extérieurs. Les données sont continuellement mises à jour pour vous fournir les plus récentes données de température sur l’écran LCD de l’unité réceptrice. Dès que l’icône de pile faible s’affiche, la température affichée de ce capteur n’est plus fiable. L’utilisateur doit changer les piles immédiatement. B. Indicateur intérieur C. Affiche la température intérieure. D. Indicateur de capteur distant extérieur Indique le signal reçu du capteur distant extérieur actif. Il peut afficher jusqu’à trois capteurs distants différents, positionnés à 3 endroits différents dans un rayon de 30 mètres de l’unité principale. E. Indicateur de défilement automatique L’icône animée représentant une flèche défilante s’affiche pour indiquer le défilement automatique de la température intérieure et des 3 températures extérieures différentes. F. Indicateur de températures maximum intérieure et extérieure Indique la température maximum, intérieure ou extérieure, du canal affiché. G. Indicateur de températures minimum intérieure et extérieure Indique la température minimum, intérieure ou extérieure, du canal affiché. H. Indicateur d’éclairage d’ambiance L’éclairage d’ambiance indique les évolutions de la température intérieure ou de la température extérieure du canal #1. I. Indicateur de pile faible de l’unité principale Cet indicateur s’affiche pour avertir que les piles de l’unité principale sont bientôt épuisées et que les informations affichées sur l’écran LCD ne sont plus fiables. Il faut remplacer les piles immédiatement. J. Icône Alarme Affichée si l’alarme est activée. K. Fenêtre Horloge Affiche l’horloge radiocommandée DCF-77, le calendrier ou l’heure d’alarme. L. Éclairage d’ambiance coloré L’éclairage d’ambiance coloré est disponible uniquement en cas d’alimentation avec l’adaptateur CA. DESCRIPTION DES BOUTONS L’horloge à éclairage d’ambiance et thermomètre int/ext présente 6 boutons de fonctions principales à l’avant et 1 bouton de fonction principale à l’arrière. 1. SELECTEUR [MANUAL-MOOD-ALERT] Ce sélecteur peut adopter trois positions : MANUAL, MOOD et ALERT. Sur MANUAL, appuyez sur le haut de l’unité principale pour allumer l’éclairage d’ambiance durant 10 secondes. Avec l’éclairage allumé, chaque pression sur le bouton prolonge le délai de 10 secondes. En position MOOD, l’éclairage d’ambiance s’allume en permanence et change de couleur continuellement. En position ALERT, l’éclairage d’alerte s’allume en permanence et change de couleur selon la température ambiante mesurée à l’intérieur ou par le capteur distant du canal #1. Remarque : l’éclairage d’ambiance et d’alerte peut s’activer uniquement si l’unité est branchée avec l’adaptateur CA. 2. [MODE] Alternez entre l’affichage de l’Horloge, du Calendrier ou de l’Alarme. Remarque : l’unité principale quitte le mode d’affichage de l’horloge si aucun bouton n’est appuyé pendant 10 secondes. Appuyez sans relâcher pendant 2 secondes pour activer le mode de réglage de l’horloge /calendrier ou de l’heure d’alarme. 3. [▲] Appuyez une fois pour augmenter la valeur en cours de réglage en mode de réglage de l’horloge/calendrier ou de l’alarme. Appuyez sans relâcher pendant 2 secondes pour activer /désactiver manuellement en permanence la fonction radiocommandée. 4. [▼] Appuyez une fois pour diminuer la valeur en cours de réglage en mode de réglage de l’horloge /calendrier ou de l’alarme. Activez /désactivez l’alarme quotidienne en mode d’affichage de l’alarme. 5. [CH] Une pression brève suffit pour passer à l’affichage de la température ~ 14 ~ 6. 7. - 8. - - (FRA) intérieure ainsi que des capteurs de température des canaux #1, #2 et #3 en mode de défilement automatique, présentant successivement la température intérieure et les trois températures extérieures. Remarque : en mode de défilement automatique, les températures intérieure et des trois canaux alternent toutes les 4 secondes. Seuls le ou les canaux enregistrés s’affichent en mode de défilement automatique. Les canaux qui ne sont pas enregistrés ne s’affichent pas. Appuyez sans relâcher pendant 2 secondes pour activer /désactiver le mode de recherche de capteur distant. [MEM] Actionnez pour afficher les valeurs maxi. /mini. des températures intérieure et extérieures. Appuyez sans relâcher pendant 2 secondes pour effacer les mémoires des températures intérieures et extérieures. [ALERT] Appuyez sans relâcher pendant 2 secondes pour accéder au mode de réglage de l’éclairage d’ambiance, puis utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] afin de régler l’alerte d’éclairage d’ambiance selon la température intérieure ou la température extérieure du canal #1. Appuyez sur [ALERT] pour confirmer. Et un bouton au fond [SNOOZE-LIGHT] Appuyez sur le haut de l’unité principale pour activer le bouton [SNOOZE-LIGHT] afin d’allumer le rétroéclairage durant 10 secondes. L’éclairage d’ambiance est alors allumé pendant 10 secondes si l’unité principale est alimentée avec l’adaptateur CA et si le sélecteur [MANUAL-MOOD-ALERT] est en position MANUAL. Interrompt la sonnerie de l’alarme temporairement pendant 5 minutes lorsqu’elle retentit. Remarque : si l’horloge émet un bip, une pression sur un bouton quelconque - sauf sur [SNOOZE- LIGHT] – l’interrompt. INSTALLATION DES PILES DE L’UNITÉ PRINCIPALE 1. Ouvrez le compartiment des piles. 2. Insérez 3 piles AAA alcalines de 1,5 V en respectant la polarité indiquée ; 3. Fermez le compartiment des piles. ~ 15 ~ (FRA) Remarque : si l’indicateur de pile faible s’affiche en haut au milieu de l’écran LCD inférieur, remplacez les piles. INSTALLATION DES PILES D’UN CAPTEUR DISTANT 1. Ouvrez le compartiment des piles. 2. Insérez 2 piles AAA alcalines de 1,5 V en respectant la polarité indiquée ; 3. Fermez le compartiment des piles. Remarque : si l’indicateur de pile faible de chaque canal s’affiche en haut à gauche de l’écran LCD supérieur, remplacez les piles. DÉMARRAGE Cette horloge à éclairage d’ambiance et thermomètre int/ext a été pensée pour une configuration simple. Pour qu’elle fonctionne au mieux, procédez comme suit, en respectant l’ordre indiqué. 1. Insérez les piles dans l’unité principale. Elle recherche automatiquement les capteurs distants (s’ils sont actifs et à portée de transmission) pendant 2 minutes puis reçoit le signal RCC pendant 10 minutes. Remarque : l’unité principale n’est pas programmable manuellement durant la recherche RF et la réception RCC. 2. Insérez les piles dans un capteur distant et réglez-le sur le canal voulu en appuyant sur le bouton [CH]. 3. L’unité principale affiche la température du capteur distant du canal correspondant, si elle reçoit le signal RF et enregistre correctement le capteur distant. 4. Positionnez l’unité distante et l’unité principale à une distance permettant une transmission efficace, en général à un maximum de 30 mètres. Le capteur distant ne doit pas être exposé à la lumière directe du soleil, à la pluie ou à la neige. PROCÉDURE D’ENREGISTREMENT DE CAPTEUR DISTANT SANS FIL Dans les 2 minutes suivant la mise sous tension de l’unité principale, activez le capteur comme suit : 1. Insérez les 2 piles AAA dans l’unité du capteur pendant que l’icône « » de l’unité principale clignote pour indiquer à l’utilisateur qu’elle est en mode de recherche de capteur. 2. La DEL du panneau avant du capteur commence à clignoter, environ ~ 16 ~ 3. 4. (FRA) une fois toutes les 2 secondes, pour indiquer que le canal #1 est utilisé. Pendant que la DEL clignote, appuyez une fois sur le bouton [CH] pour changer le réglage de canal de capteur sur #2. Ne relâchez pas le bouton [CH] pour passer au canal #3. La DEL clignote à une fréquence indiquant le réglage du canal, soit clignotement continu à 2 reprises pour indiquer la sélection du canal #2. En l’absence de pression sur un bouton durant 10 secondes, le capteur sort du mode de réglage de canal et envoie le signal RF de température. L’unité principale affiche la température du capteur distant du canal correspondant, si elle reçoit le signal RF et enregistre correctement le capteur distant. L’icône « » de l’unité principale cesse de clignoter après 2 minutes pour indiquer à l’utilisateur que le mode de recherche de capteur n’est plus actif. En ce cas, l’utilisateur doit appuyer sur le bouton [CH] sans le relâcher 2 secondes pour réactiver le mode de recherche de capteur et répéter les étapes précédentes s’il souhaite enregistrer un nouveau capteur. DÉFILEMENT AUTOMATIQUE DES CANAUX DISTANTS Cet appareil dispose d’une fonction de défilement automatique. Si la fonction de défilement automatique est active, l’unité principale fait automatiquement alterner l’affichage de la température intérieure et de celles de chacun des capteurs distants à intervalle de 4 secondes. 1. Pour obtenir manuellement la température d’un capteur spécifique, appuyez sur le bouton [CH] jusqu’à l’affichage du numéro de canal voulu. 2. Pour activer la fonction de défilement automatique, utilisez le bouton [CH] pour sélectionner le canal #1, #2, …afin d’afficher l’icône de défilement automatique à côté de l’indicateur de canal. HORLOGE RADIOCOMMANDÉE CDF -77 L’heure radiocommandée est calculée par l’horloge atomique au césium qui se trouve à Braunschweig, l’horloge officielle de l’Allemagne. L’heure est alors codée et transmise sur l’onde porteuse DCF-77 (77.5 kHz) depuis Mainflingen, près de Francfort. La transmission a une portée de 1 500 km, ce qui lui permet de couvrir la plus grande partie de l’Europe centrale et de l’ouest. Dans ces limites, l’heure reçue est tout à fait exacte. Une fois le ou ~ 17 ~ (FRA) les signaux de capteur reçu, l’icône d’onde clignote pour indiquer que l’unité réceptrice commence à recevoir le signal horaire DCF radiocommandé. L’icône d’onde radiocommandée indique 4 niveaux d’état du signal : Très faible Faible Moyen Fort Dès que le signal horaire est capté, l’icône d’onde s’affiche sur l’écran LCD et l’heure ainsi que le calendrier sont mis à jour automatiquement. Remarque : durant les 10 minutes de réception du signal, toutes les actions sur les boutons manuels sont ignorées. En outre, l’éclairage d’ambiance continu et l’éclairage d’alerte sont temporairement interrompus jusqu’à la fin de la réception. Vous pouvez aussi appuyer sur le bouton [▲] sans le relâcher 2 secondes pour activer manuellement la réception en mode manuel. RÉGLAGE DE L’HORLOGE, DU CALENDRIER ET DES UNITÉS DE TEMPÉRATURE 1. Appuyez sur le bouton [MODE] sans le relâcher 2 secondes pour passer en mode de réglage de l’horloge. Un affichage 24H clignote. 2. Appuyez sur le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour alterner entre les deux formats d’heure (24Hr et 12Hr) puis appuyez sur le bouton [MODE] pour confirmer. 3. Les chiffres de l’heure clignotent. Appuyez sur le bouton [▲] pour avancer d’une heure ou sur [▼] pour reculer d’une heure selon l’heure voulue. Si vous maintenez le bouton enfoncé, le réglage change plus rapidement. Appuyez sur [MODE] pour confirmer. 4. Les chiffres des minutes clignotent. Utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour régler les minutes voulues. Si vous maintenez le bouton enfoncé, le réglage change plus rapidement. Appuyez sur [MODE] pour confirmer. Remarque : modifier la valeur du chiffre des minutes remet automatiquement à zéro le chiffre des secondes. 5. Les chiffres des années clignotent. Utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour régler l’année voulue. Si vous maintenez le bouton enfoncé, le réglage change plus rapidement. Appuyez sur [MODE] pour confirmer. Remarque : les années de 2000 à 2099 sont sélectionnables. 6. Les chiffres DATE-MONTH/MONTH-DATE clignotent. Utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour choisir DATE-MONTH ou MONTH-DATE et ~ 18 ~ 7. (FRA) appuyez sur le bouton [MODE] pour confirmer. Puis utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour régler le mois et le jour voulus. Si vous maintenez le bouton enfoncé, le réglage change plus rapidement. Appuyez sur [MODE] pour confirmer. °C/ °F clignotent. Appuyez sur le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour alterner entre le format de température °C (Centigrade) et °F (Fahrenheit) puis appuyez sur le bouton [MODE] pour confirmer. Remarque : en l’absence de pression sur un bouton durant 10 secondes en mode réglage, le réglage actif est automatiquement enregistré et l’affichage revient à la normale. RÉGLAGE DE L’ALARME QUOTIDIENNE 1. En mode d’affichage d’heure d’alarme, appuyez sur le bouton [MODE] sans le relâcher 2 secondes. Les chiffres des heures clignotent. Utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour régler l’heure d’alarme voulu. Les chiffres des minutes clignotent alors. Utilisez le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour régler les minutes de l’alarme voulues. Si vous maintenez le bouton enfoncé, le réglage change plus rapidement. Appuyez sur [MODE] pour confirmer. 2. En mode d’affichage de l’heure d’alarme, appuyez sur le bouton [▼] une seule fois pour activer /désactiver l’alarme quotidienne. 3. Si l’alarme retentit, une pression sur un bouton quelconque - sauf sur [SNOOZE- LIGHT] – l’interrompt. Appuyez sur le bouton [SNOOZELIGHT] pour interrompre temporairement l’alarme durant 5 minutes. LECTURE DES TEMPÉRATURES INTÉRIEURE /EXTÉRIEURES 1. En mode d’affichage de la température intérieure (et pas en mode de défilement automatique), appuyez sur le bouton [CH] une fois pour passer au canal #1 et afficher la température du canal #1. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton [CH] pour passer à un autre canal. La séquence est la suivante : Intérieure→ Canal #1→ Canal #2 →Canal #3 →Défilement auto→ (répétition). 2. En mode de défilement automatique, l’écran LCD supérieur alterne l’affichage de la température intérieure et des températures des capteurs distants enregistrés à intervalle de 4 secondes. Remarque : seuls le ou les canaux enregistrés s’affichent en mode de défilement automatique. Les canaux qui ne sont pas enregistrés ne s’affichent pas. « --._°C » ou « --._°F » s’affiche pour indiquer à l’utilisateur la perte du lien RF avec un canal de capteur spécifique. ~ 19 ~ (FRA) 3. En cas de réception d’une température intérieure supérieure à +60°C (+140,0°F) ou d’une température extérieure supérieure à +70°C (+158,0°F), « HH.H » s’affiche dans l’écran LCD supérieur. En cas de réception d’une température intérieure inférieure à -10°C (+14,0°F) ou d’une température extérieure inférieure à -50°C (-58,0°F), « LL.L » s’affiche dans l’écran LCD supérieur. RÉGLAGE DE L’ÉCLAIRAGE D’ALERTE INTÉRIEURE /CANAL #1 Appuyez sur le bouton [ALERT] sans le relâcher 2 secondes pour passer en mode de réglage de l’éclairage d’alerte. Appuyez sur le bouton [▲] ou [▼] pour sélectionner le suivi d’éclairage d’alerte selon la température intérieure ou celle du canal #1. Appuyez sur [ALERT] pour confirmer. Remarque : l’éclairage d’alerte du canal #1 est disponible uniquement si le canal #1 est correctement enregistré. 1. FUNCTIES VAN DE THERMOMETERKLOK VOOR BINNEN EN BUITEN MET SFEERLICHT Deze thermometerklok voor binnen en buiten met sfeerlicht meet de ambiance van de directe omgeving en ontvangt temperatuurgegevens van maximaal 3 buitensensoren. De gegevens worden voortdurend bijgewerkt, zodat u beschikt over de meest recente temperatuurinformatie, die wordt weergegeven op het LCD-scherm van de ontvangstunit. Bovendien is het apparaat voorzien van een in kleur te wijzigen sfeerlicht dat de gebruikers wijst op verschillende temperatuurbereiken. Indicator voor lage batterijspanning buitensensor De indicator voor een lage batterijspanning boven in het LCD-scherm geeft de status van de batterij voor de bijbehorende buitensensor aan. Wanneer de indicator voor een lage batterijspanning wordt weergegeven, is de weergegeven sensortemperatuur niet meer betrouwbaar. De gebruiker moet de batterijen direct verwisselen. B. Indicator voor binnentemperatuur Geeft aan dat de binnentemperatuur wordt weergegeven. C. Indicator voor buitensensor Geeft het huidige buitensensorsignaal aan dat wordt ontvangen. Er kunnen maximaal 3 verschillende buitensensoren worden weergegeven, die zich op 3 verschillende locaties en binnen 30 meter van de hoofdunit bevinden. D. Indicator voor auto-scrollen Het pictogram met de bewegende rollende pijl wordt weergegeven om de auto-scrollmodus voor de binnentemperatuur en 3 verschillende buitentemperaturen aan te geven. E. Indicator voor maximale binnen- en buitentemperatuur Geeft de maximale binnentemperatuur of de maximale buitentemperatuur aan voor het weergegeven kanaal. F. U moet direct de batterij vervangen. I. Alarmpictogram Verschijnt wanneer het alarm is ingeschakeld. J. Klokvenster Hier wordt de radiogestuurde DCF-77-klok, de kalender of de alarmtijd weergegeven. K. Toren voor radio-ontvangst Geeft de status aan van de radiogestuurde DCF-77-tijdontvangst. L. Temperatuurvenster Hier wordt de binnen- of buitentemperatuur weergegeven. ~ 25 ~ (NLD) M. Gekleurd sfeerlicht Het gekleurde sfeerlicht is alleen beschikbaar als het apparaat van stroom wordt voorzien met een voedingsadapter. BESCHRIJVING VAN DE TOETSEN De thermometerklok voor binnen en buiten met sfeerlicht bevat 6 primaire functietoetsen aan de voorkant en 1 primaire functietoets aan de achterkant. 1. SCHUIFSCHAKELAAR [MANUAL-MOOD-ALERT] Deze schuifschakelaar kan naar drie standen worden geschoven: MANUAL, MOOD en ALERT. In de stand MANUAL drukt u op de bovenkant van de hoofdunit om het sfeerlicht 10 seconden in te schakelen. Elke keer dat u op de toets drukt terwijl het sfeerlicht brandt, blijft het licht nog eens 10 seconden langer branden. In de stand MOOD brandt het sfeerlicht continu en verandert ook voortdurend van kleur. In de stand ALERT brandt het waarschuwingslicht continu en verandert van kleur op basis van de gemeten omgevingstemperatuur binnen of van kanaal 1 van de buitensensor. Opmerking: het sfeer- of waarschuwingslicht is alleen beschikbaar wanneer de voedingsadapter wordt gebruikt. 2. [MODE] Hiermee schakelt u naar de weergavemodus voor de klok, de kalender of het alarm. Opmerking: de hoofdunit schakelt automatisch over naar de klokmodus als er 10 seconden lang op geen enkele toets wordt gedrukt. Houd deze toets 2 seconden ingedrukt om de instelmodus voor de klok, de kalender of het alarm te activeren. 3. [▲] Druk eenmaal op deze toets om de instelling voor de klok, de kalender of het alarm te verhogen. Houd deze toets 2 seconden ingedrukt om de radiogestuurde functie handmatig permanent te activeren of deactiveren. 4. [▼] Druk eenmaal op deze toets om de instelling voor de klok, de kalender of het alarm te verlagen. ~ 26 ~ 5. - 6. - 7. - 8. - - (NLD) Schakel het dagelijkse alarm in/uit terwijl u zich in de weergavemodus voor het alarm bevindt. [CH] Druk kort op deze toets om te wisselen tussen de weergave van de binnentemperatuur, de buitentemperatuur van kanaal 1, kanaal 2 en kanaal 3, of om naar de auto-scrollmodus te schakelen, waarmee afwisselend de binnentemperatuur en de drie buitentemperaturen worden weergegeven. Opmerking: wanneer de auto-scrollmodus is ingeschakeld, bedraagt de scrolltijd voor binnen en voor elk kanaal, 4 seconden. Alleen geregistreerd kanalen worden weergegeven in de auto-scrollmodus, niet geregistreerde kanalen worden overgeslagen. Houd de toets 2 seconden ingedrukt om de zoekmodus voor de buitensensor te activeren of deactiveren. [MEM] Druk hierop om te schakelen tussen de maximum- of minimumlezing van de binnen- en buitentemperatuur. Houd de toets 2 seconden ingedrukt om het geheugen voor de maximum- of minimumtemperatuur binnen en voor alle buitensensoren te wissen. [ALERT] Houd deze toets 2 seconden ingedrukt om naar de instelmodus voor het sfeerlicht te gaan; gebruik de toets [▲] of [▼] om de sfeerlichtwaarschuwing in te stellen op basis van de binnentemperatuur of de temperatuur van kanaal 1. Druk op [ALERT] om te bevestigen. Plus één toets aan de onderkant [SNOOZE-LIGHT] Druk op de bovenkant van de hoofdunit om de toets [SNOOZE-LIGHT] in te schakelen, zodat de achtergrondverlichting 10 seconden lang brandt. Intussen brandt het sfeerlicht 10 seconden als de hoofdunit is aangesloten met behulp van de voedingsadapter en als de schuifschakelaar [MANUAL-MOOD-ALERT] in de stand MANUAL staat. Onderbreek het alarmgeluid 5 minuten wanneer het alarm afgaat. Opmerking: wanneer de klok piept, kunt u dit stoppen door op elke toets behalve de toets [SNOOZE- LIGHT] te drukken. ~ 27 ~ (NLD) BATTERIJEN PLAATSEN IN DE HOOFDUNIT 1. Verwijder de batterijklep. 2. Plaats 3 AAA-alkalinebatterijen van 1,5 V zoals wordt aangegeven door de polariteitaanduiding; 3. Sluit de batterijklep. Opmerking: vervang de batterijen wanneer de indicator voor een lage batterijspanning middenboven in het onderste LCD-scherm verschijnt. BATTERIJN PLAATSTEN IN DE BUITENSENSOR 1. Verwijder de batterijklep. 2. Plaats 2 AAA-alkalinebatterijen van 1,5 V zoals wordt aangegeven door de polariteitaanduiding; 3. Sluit de batterijklep. Opmerking: vervang de batterijen wanneer de indicator voor een lage batterijspanning op elk kanaal linksboven in het bovenste LCD-scherm verschijnt. AAN DE SLAG Deze thermometerklok voor binnen en buiten met sfeerlicht is ontworpen met het oog op een eenvoudige installatie. Voor de beste werking moeten de volgende stappen in de juiste volgorde worden uitgevoerd. 1. Plaats batterijen in de hoofdunit. De unit zoekt automatisch 2 minuten lang naar de buitensensors (wanneer deze zich in het effectieve zendbereik bevinden) en ontvangt vervolgens 10 minuten lang een RCC-signaal. Opmerking: tijdens het RF-zoekmodus en de RCC-ontvangst kan de hoofdunit niet handmatig worden geprogrammeerd. 2. Plaats batterijen in de buitensensor en stel deze in op het gewenste kanaal door op de toets [CH] te drukken. 3. Op de hoofdunit wordt de temperatuurmeting van de buitensensor op het bijbehorende kanaal weergegeven, mits het RF-signaal wordt ontvangen en de buitensensor correct wordt geregistreerd. 4. Plaats de buitenunit en de hoofdunit binnen een effectief zendbereik; meestal is dat 30 meter. De buitensensor mag niet in direct zonlicht, regen of sneeuw worden geplaatst. ~ 28 ~ (NLD) REGISTRATIEPROCEDURE VOOR DRAADLOZE BUITENSENSOR Binnen 2 minuten na het inschakelen van de hoofdunit wordt de sensor als volgt geactiveerd: 1. Plaats de 2 AAA-batterijen in de sensorunit terwijl het pictogram op de hoofdunit knippert om aan te geven dat de hoofdunit zich in de sensor-zoekmodus bevindt. 2. De LED op het voorpaneel van de sensor knippert één keer per circa 2 seconden om aan te geven dat kanaal 1 wordt gebruikt. Terwijl de LED knippert, drukt u één keer op de toets [CH] om de instelling van het sensorkanaal te wijzigen in 2. Door nogmaals op de toets [CH] te drukken, kunt u naar kanaal 3 gaan. De LED knippert met een bepaalde frequentie om aan te geven welk kanaal is ingesteld; voortdurend 2 keer knipperen betekent bijvoorbeeld dat kanaal 2 is geselecteerd. Als er 10 seconden lang op geen enkele toets wordt gedrukt, wordt de modus voor de kanaalinstelling afgesloten en wordt het RF-signaal van de temperatuurmeting verzonden. 3. Op de hoofdunit wordt de temperatuurmeting van de buitensensor op het bijbehorende kanaal weergegeven, mits het RF-signaal wordt ontvangen en de buitensensor correct wordt geregistreerd. 4. Het pictogram op de hoofdunit stopt na twee minuten met knipperen om aan te geven dat de sensor-zoekmodus niet meer actief is. In dat geval moet de gebruiker de toets [CH] 2 seconden ingedrukt houden om weer naar de sensor-zoekmodus te gaan en de bovenstaande stappen te herhalen als hij een nieuwe buitensensor wil registreren. AUTO-SCROLLMODUS VOOR BUITENKANALEN Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een auto-scrollfunctie. Wanneer deze functie is ingesteld, wordt op de hoofdunit automatisch 4 seconden lang achtereenvolgens de binnentemperatuur en de temperatuur van elke buitensensor weergegeven. 1. Als u een specifieke sensortemperatuur handmatig wilt opvragen, drukt u op de toets [CH] tot het gewenste kanaalnummer wordt weergegeven. 2. Als u de auto-scrollfunctie wilt inschakelen, gebruikt u de toets [CH] om kanaal 1, 2, enz. te selecteren tot het pictogram voor automatisch scrollen wordt weergegeven naast de kanaalindicator. ~ 29 ~ (NLD) RADIOGESTUURDE DCF-77-KLOK De radiogestuurde tijd wordt berekend door de cesium-atoomklok van Braunschweig (officiële klok van Duitsland). Vervolgens wordt de tijd gecodeerd en via een signaal op DCF-77 (77,5 kHz) overgebracht vanuit Mainflingen (nabij Frankfurt) . Het zendbereik van het signaal is 1500 km, wat betekent dat het grootste deel van West- en Midden-Europa dit signaal kan ontvangen. Binnen dit bereik is de ontvangen tijd volledig nauwkeurig. Zodra er een of meer sensorsignalen worden ontvangen, begint het golf-pictogram te knipperen om aan te geven dat de ontvangstunit het radiogestuurde DCF-tijdsignaal ontvangt. Het golfpictogram voor de radiosturing geeft 4 niveaus voor de signaalstatus aan: Zeer zwak Zwak Gemiddeld Sterk Zodra er een tijdsignaal wordt ontvangen, blijft het pictogram met de golflengte zichtbaar in het LCD-scherm en worden de tijd en datum automatisch bijgewerkt. Opmerking: gedurende de 10 minuten dat het signaal wordt ontvangen, wordt alle handmatige toetsinvoer genegeerd. Bovendien wordt het continue sfeerlicht of waarschuwingslicht tijdelijk uitgeschakeld tot de ontvangst is voltooid. U kunt ook de toets [▲] 2 seconden ingedrukt houden om de ontvangst in de normale modus handmatig te activeren. DE KLOK, KALENDER EN TEMPERATUUREENHEID INSTELLEN 1. Houd de toets [MODE] 2 seconden ingedrukt om naar de modus voor de klokinstelling te gaan. 24Hr wordt knipperend weergegeven. 2. Druk op de toets [▲] of [▼] om tussen de indeling 24Hr en 12Hr te schakelen en druk vervolgens ter bevestiging op de toets [MODE]. 3. De uuraanduiding gaat knipperen. Gebruik de toets [▲] om de waarde met één uur te verhogen en de toets [▼] om de waarde met één uur te verlagen totdat u het gewenste aantal uren hebt bereikt. Als u een van beide knoppen ingedrukt houdt, kunt u de instelling sneller wijzigen. Druk op de toets [MODE] om de selectie te bevestigen. 4. De minutenaanduiding gaat knipperen. Gebruik de toets [▲] of [▼] om de gewenste minuten in te stellen. Als u een van beide knoppen ingedrukt houdt, kunt u de instelling sneller wijzigen. Druk op de toets [MODE] om de selectie te bevestigen. ~ 30 ~ 5. 6. 7. (NLD) Opmerking: bij elke wijziging van de minutenaanduiding wordt het aantal seconden automatisch op nul gezet. De jaaraanduiding gaat knipperen. Gebruik de toets [▲] of [▼] om het gewenste jaar in te stellen. Als u een van beide knoppen ingedrukt houdt, kunt u de instelling sneller wijzigen. Druk op de toets [MODE] om de selectie te bevestigen. Opmerking: U kunt een jaartal tussen 2000 en 2099 instellen. De aanduiding voor DATE-MONTH/MONTH-DATE gaat knipperen. Gebruik de toets [▲] of [▼] om DATE-MONTH of MONTH-DATE te kiezen. Druk op de toets [MODE] om de selectie te bevestigen. Gebruik de toets [▲] of [▼] om de gewenste maand en datum in te stellen. Als u een van beide knoppen ingedrukt houdt, kunt u de instelling sneller wijzigen. Druk op de toets [MODE] om de selectie te bevestigen. De aanduiding °C/ °F gaat knipperen. Druk op de toets [▲] of [▼] om te schakelen tussen °C (graden Celsius) en °F (graden Fahrenheit) voor de temperatuurindeling. Druk vervolgens ter bevestiging op de toets [MODE]. Opmerking: als er in de instelmodus 19 seconden lang op geen enkele toets wordt gedrukt, wordt de huidige instelling automatisch behouden en keert de unit terug naar de normale weergave. HET DAGELIJKSE ALARM INSTELLEN 1. Houd in de weergavemodus voor de alarmtijd de toets [MODE] 2 seconden ingedrukt, waarna de uuraanduiding gaat knipperen. Gebruik de toets [▲] of [▼] om het gewenste uur voor het alarm in te stellen, waarna de minutenaanduiding gaat knipperen. Gebruik de toets[▲] of [▼] om de gewenste minuten voor het alarm in te stellen. Als u een van beide knoppen ingedrukt houdt, kunt u de instelling sneller wijzigen. Druk op de toets [MODE] om de selectie te bevestigen. 2. Als de unit in de weergavemodus voor de alarmtijd staat, drukt u eenmaal op de toets [▼] om te schakelen tussen het aan- en uitzetten van het dagelijkse alarm. 3. Wanneer het alarm piept, kunt u dit stoppen door op elke toets behalve de toets [SNOOZE- LIGHT] te drukken. Als u op de knop [SNOOZELIGHT] drukt, wordt het alarmgeluid 5 minuten onderbroken. ~ 31 ~ (NLD) DE BINNEN-/BUITENTEMPERATUUR AFLEZEN 1. Wanneer de binnentemperatuur wordt weergegeven (niet in de autoscrollmodus), drukt u één keer op de toets [CH] om de temperatuur van kanaal 1 weer te geven. Als u nogmaals op de toets [CH] drukt, gaat u verder naar het volgende kanaal. De volgorde is: Binnen→ kanaal 1→ kanaal 2 →kanaal 3 →auto-scrollen→ (herhalen). 2. In de auto-scrollmodus worden in het bovenste LCD-scherm afwisselend 4 seconden lang de binnentemperatuur en de geregistreerde buitentemperaturen weergegeven. Opmerking: alleen geregistreerd buitenkanalen worden weergegeven in de auto-scrollmodus, niet geregistreerde kanalen worden overgeslagen. De aanduiding ‘--._°C’ of ‘--._°F’ wordt weergegeven om aan te geven dat RF-verbinding met een specifiek sensorkanaal is verbroken. 3. Wanneer de ontvangen binnentemperatuur meer dan +60°C (+140,0°F) bedraagt of de buitentemperatuur meer dan +70°C (+158,0°F), wordt ‘HH.H’ weergegeven in het bovenste LCD-scherm. Wanneer de ontvangen binnentemperatuur minder dan -10°C (+14,0°F) bedraagt of de buitentemperatuur minder dan -50°C (-58,0°F), wordt ‘LL.L’ weergegeven in het bovenste LCD-scherm. HET WAARSCHUWINGSLICHT VOOR BINNEN/KANAAL 1 INSTELLEN Houd de toets [ALERT] 2 seconden ingedrukt om naar de instelmodus voor het waarschuwingslicht te gaan. Druk op de toets [▲] of [▼] om het waarschuwingslicht in te stellen voor bewaking van de binnentemperatuur of de temperatuur van kanaal 1. Druk op [ALERT] om te bevestigen. Opmerking: het waarschuwingslicht voor kanaal 1 is alleen beschikbaar als kanaal 1 correct is geregistreerd. 1. Wanneer het waarschuwingslicht is ingesteld op bewaking van de binnentemperatuur, verandert de kleur van het waarschuwingslicht en de LCD-achtergrondverlichting op basis van de temperatuur, zoals toegelicht in Tabel 1.
