• Use this heater only as described

in this manual. Any other use not

recommended by the manufacturer may

cause re, electric shock, or injury to

person.

• There may be trace of odour during the

rst few minutes of initial use. This is

normal and will quickly disappear.

• The heater is not to be used by persons

(including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience and knowledge,

unless they have been given supervision

or instruction.

• The heater must have a minimum 50cm

clearance around all sides of the heater.

• Only operate the heater in an upright

position with both foot bases attached.

• Children must be supervised not to play

with the appliance.

• Children of less than 3 years should

be kept away unless continuously

supervised.

• Do not leave children alone or

unattended in the area where the heater

is in use.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not

be made by children unless continuously

supervised.

• Place the heater on a at, stable, heat-

resistant surface and always keep the

heater in an upright position. Operating

the heater in any other position could

cause a hazard.

• Do not cover, obstruct or push objects

into the vents and opening of the heater

as this may cause an electric shock, re

or damage the heater.

• Do not use this heater to dry or heat

clothes.

• Ensure the heater is not located

immediately below a socket-outlet.

• Never place anything on top of the

heater.

• Do not operate the heater with wet

hands.

• Do not use this heater near water or in

the immediate surroundings of a bath,

shower or a swimming pool. Never

place the heater where it may fall into a

bathtub or other water container.

• Do not allow water or other liquids to

run into the interior of the heater, as

this could create a re and/or electrical

hazard.

• This heater is intended for indoor

household use and similar applications.

Do not use outdoors.

• Never leave the heater unattended while

in use. Always turn the heater o and

disconnected from the power supply

when not in use.

• Do not use the heater while sleeping or

place it near a person who is sleeping.

• Always turn the heater OFF, unplug the

power cord from the electrical outlet

and allow the heater to completely cool

down before handling or cleaning it.

• Avoid placing the power cord in areas

where it can become a tripping hazard.

Do not place the power cord under

carpeting or cover it with rugs, runners

or similar.

• To avoid a circuit overload when using

this heater, do not operate another

high-wattage appliance on the same

electrical circuit.

• Always plug the heater directly into a

wall socket. Avoid using extension leads

where possible as they may overheat

and cause a risk of re.

• Do not use this heater with an external

programmer, timer switch or any other

device which would switch the heater

on automatically unless this has already

been pre-built into the heater by the

manufacturer.

• Do not pull on the power cord. Never

move, carry, or hang the heater by the

power cord.

• Do not kink or wrap the power cord

and plug around the heater, as this

may cause the insulation to weaken

or split, particularly where it enters the

appliance.

• Ensure the mains cable is fully extended

before use and arrange it so that it is not

in contact with any part of the heater.

• The heater should not be used in a

room, of which the oor area is less than

5m².

• Only use this appliance in a well-

ventilated area

• Do not operate the heater with any

safety guards removed.

• Do not operate the heater if there are

signs of damage to the heater, power

cord, or any of the accessories supplied.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer, its

service agent or a similarly qualied

person in order to avoid a hazard.

• Do not attempt to repair or adjust any

electrical or mechanical elements in the

heater. Doing so may be unsafe and will

void your warranty.

• Ensure that the mains supply (including

voltage, frequency and power) complies

with the rating label of the heater.

• Do not use the heater near petrol,

paints, ammable gases, ovens, or other

heating sources.

• Do not use this heater if it has been

dropped.

• Do not use if there are visible signs of

damage to the heater.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Switching Your Heater On and Setting the

Temperature:

1. Insert the plug into the power socket.

2. Turn the power dial to the desired

setting:

• FAN ONLY MODE

• LOW POWER – Low heat (1000W)

• HIGH POWER – High heat (1800W)

• LOW SWING – Low heat oscillation

(1000W)

• HIGH SWING – High heat oscillation

(1800W)

3. Turn the temperature control dial until

you hear a click – this will turn the unit

on. Continue turning the dial to your

desired temperature. The temperature

control dial acts as a thermostat. Once

the room has reached the desired

temperature the unit will switch o.

Switching O:

1. Turn the power dial to the OFF position.

2. Turn the temperature control dial

anticlockwise to the lowest setting.

3. Remove the power plug and store the

heater after the unit has cooled down.

Your Heater’s Safety Guards:

• Your heater will automatically turn o

when it is not upright, due to the tip-over

switch on the bottom of the appliance.

This is to prevent damage to your home

and your heater will turn back on when it

is in its normal upright position.

• Your heater will automatically turn o

when the appliance has overheated.

This may be because there is something

covering the heater. Unplug the

appliance and wait 30 minutes for it to

cool. If there is no damage to the unit,

cord, or plug, plug the unit back in and

use as normal.

einstellen:

• Die Heizung darf nicht in Räumen

verwendet werden, deren Grundäche

weniger als 5 m² beträgt.

• Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur in gut

belüfteten Räumen

3. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler, bis

Sie ein Klicken hören, was bedeutet,

Die Schutzvorrichtungen Ihrer Heizung:

• Ihr Heizgerät schaltet sich aufgrund

des Kippschalters an der Unterseite

des Geräts automatisch aus, wenn es

nicht aufrecht steht. Dies dient dazu,

Schäden an Ihrem Haus zu vermeiden.

Ihre Heizung schaltet sich wieder ein,

wenn sie sich wieder in einer normalen,

aufrechten Position bendet.

• Ihre Heizung schaltet sich automatisch

aus, wenn das Gerät überhitzt. Dies

kann daran passieren, wenn die Heizung

von etwas verdeckt wird. Ziehen Sie

den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und

warten Sie 30 Minuten, bis sie abgekühlt

Allumer votre chauage et régler la

température:

1. Insérez la che dans la prise de courant.

2. Tournez la molette de puissance sur le

réglage souhaité:

• MODE VENTILATEUR UNIQUEMENT

• FAIBLE PUISSANCE – Faible chaleur

(1000 W)

• HAUTE PUISSANCE – Chaleur élevée

(1800 W)

• FAIBLE OSCILLATION – Faible

3. Tournez la molette de réglage de la

température jusqu’à ce que vous

entendiez un déclic, ce qui signie que

l’appareil est en marche. Continuez à

tourner la molette jusqu’à la température

souhaitée. La molette de contrôle de la

température agit comme un thermostat.

Une fois que la pièce a atteint la

température désirée, l’appareil s’éteint.

Éteindre l’appareil:

1. Tournez la molette de puissance sur la

position OFF.

2. Tournez la molette de réglage de la

température dans le sens inverse des

aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'au réglage

le plus bas.

3. Retirez la che d'alimentation et rangez

le radiateur une fois que l'appareil a

refroidi.

• Votre radiateur s'éteindra

automatiquement lorsqu'il n'est pas à la

verticale, en raison de l'interrupteur de

basculement situé au bas de l'appareil,

et ce an d’éviter le moindre risque

pour votre habitation. Votre radiateur se

rallumera lorsqu’il retrouvera sa position

verticale normale.

• Votre radiateur s’éteindra

automatiquement en cas de surchaue.

Surchaue sans doute causée par

un objet qui recouvre le radiateur.

Débranchez l’appareil et attendez 30

minutes, le temps qu’il refroidisse. Si

l’appareil, le cordon ou la che ne sont

pas endommagés, rebranchez l’appareil

et utilisez-le normalement.

temperatura nché non si sente un clic,

ciò indica l’accensione del dispositivo.

Continuare a ruotare la manopola no

alla temperatura desiderata. Il quadrante

di controllo della temperatura funge da

termostato. L’unità si spegnerà quando

l'ambiente avrà raggiunto la temperatura

desiderata.

Spegnimento:

1. Portare il selettore di alimentazione nella

posizione OFF.

2. Ruotare la manopola di controllo

della temperatura in senso antiorario

sull'impostazione più bassa.

3. Rimuovere la spina di alimentazione e

riporre il riscaldatore dopo che l'unità si

è rareddata.

Protezioni di sicurezza del riscaldatore:

• Il riscaldatore si spegne

automaticamente quando non

è in posizione verticale, a causa

dell'interruttore di ribaltamento nella

parte inferiore dell'apparecchio. Ciò allo

• Gebruik deze kachel alleen zoals

beschreven in deze handleiding. Elk

ander gebruik dat niet door de fabrikant

wordt aanbevolen, kan leiden tot brand,

elektrische schokken of persoonlijk letsel.

• Tijdens de eerste minuten van het

eerste gebruik kan er een geur worden

afgegeven. Dit is normaal en verdwijnt

snel.

• De kachel mag niet worden gebruikt

door personen (inclusief kinderen)

met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke

of mentale vermogens, of gebrek aan

ervaring en kennis, tenzij ze onder

toezicht staan of instructies hebben

gekregen.

• De kachel moet aan alle zijden minimaal

50 cm vrije ruimte hebben.

• Gebruik de kachel alleen rechtop met

beide voetsteunen bevestigd.

• Kinderen moeten onder toezicht staan om

niet met het apparaat te spelen.

• Houd kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar uit de

buurt, tenzij er continu toezicht is.

• Laat kinderen niet alleen of zonder

toezicht in de ruimte waar de kachel

wordt gebruikt.

• Reiniging en gebruikersonderhoud mogen

niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen,

tenzij ze onder voortdurend toezicht

staan.

• Plaats de kachel op een vlakke, stabiele,

hittebestendige ondergrond en houd de

kachel altijd rechtop. Gebruik van de

kachel in een andere positie kan gevaar

veroorzaken.

• Bedek en blokkeer de ventilatieopeningen

niet, en duw geen voorwerpen in de

ventilatie- en andere openingen van

de kachel, dit kan een elektrische

schok, brand of schade aan de kachel

veroorzaken.

• Gebruik deze kachel niet voor het drogen

of verwarmen van kleding.

• Plaats de kachel niet direct onder een

stopcontact.

• Plaats nooit iets op het de kachel.

• Gebruik de kachel niet met natte handen.

• Gebruik deze kachel niet in de buurt van

water of in de directe omgeving van een

bad, douche of zwembad. Plaats de

kachel nooit zo dat hij in een badkuip of

ander waterreservoir kan vallen.

• Zorg dat er geen water of andere

vloeistoen in de kachel terechtkomen,

hierdoor zou brand en/of elektrisch

gevaar kunnen ontstaan.

• Deze kachel is bedoeld voor huishoudelijk

gebruik binnenshuis en soortgelijke

toepassingen. Niet buitenshuis gebruiken.

• Laat de kachel tijdens gebruik nooit

onbeheerd achter. Schakel de kachel

altijd uit en haal de stekker uit het

stopcontact als hij niet wordt gebruikt.

• Gebruik de kachel niet terwijl je slaapt

en plaats hem niet naast een slapende

persoon.

• Schakel de kachel altijd UIT, trek de

stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de

kachel volledig afkoelen voordat je hem

vastpakt of schoonmaakt.

• Leg de stroomkabel niet op plekken waar

men erover zou kunnen struikelen. Leg de

stroomkabel niet onder vloerbedekking en

bedek hem niet met vloerkleden, lopers of

dergelijke.

• Om een overbelasting van het circuit

te voorkomen wanneer je deze kachel

gebruikt, mogen geen andere apparaten

met een hoog wattage op hetzelfde

elektrische circuit worden gebruikt.

• Sluit de kachel altijd rechtstreeks aan

op een stopcontact. Vermijd, waar

mogelijk, het gebruik van verlengsnoeren,

aangezien deze kunnen oververhitten,

waardoor brandgevaar kan ontstaan.

• Gebruik deze kachel niet met een externe

programmeur, tijdklokschakelaar of

enig ander instrument dat de kachel

automatisch zou kunnen inschakelen,

tenzij dit een door de fabrikant

ingebouwde functie van de kachel betreft.

• Trek niet aan de stroomkabel. Verplaats,

draag of hang de kachel nooit aan de

stroomkabel.

• Knik of wikkel de stroomkabel en de

stekker niet om de kachel, dit kan de

isolatie verzwakken of splijten, vooral

op het punt waar de kabel het apparaat

binnenkomt.

• Zorg dat de stroomkabel voor gebruik

volledig is uitgerold en plaats hem zo

dat hij niet in contact staat met enig

onderdeel van de kachel.

• De kachel mag niet worden gebruikt in

een kamer met een vloeroppervlak kleiner

dan 5m².

• Gebruik dit apparaat alleen in een goed

geventileerde ruimte

• Gebruik de kachel niet als er

veiligheidsvoorzieningen zijn verwijderd.

• Gebruik de kachel niet als er tekenen

zijn van schade aan de kachel, de

stroomkabel of een van de meegeleverde

accessoires. Als de stroomkabel

beschadigd is, moet deze, om gevaar

te voorkomen, worden vervangen door

de fabrikant, diens serviceagent of een

vergelijkbaar gekwaliceerd persoon.

• Probeer geen elektrische of mechanische

elementen in de kachel te repareren of

aan te passen. Dit kan onveilig zijn en

maakt de garantie ongeldig.

• Zorg dat de stroomtoevoer (inclusief

spanning, frequentie en vermogen)

overeenkomt met het typeplaatje van de

kachel.

• Gebruik de kachel niet in de buurt van

benzine, verf, brandbare gassen, ovens of

andere warmtebronnen.

• Gebruik deze kachel niet als hij is

gevallen.

• Gebruik de kachel niet als deze zichtbare

tekenen van schade vertoont.

BEDIENINGSINSTRUCTIES

De kachel aanzetten en de temperatuur

instellen:

1. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

2. Draai de aan-/uitknop naar de gewenste

instelling:

• ALLEEN VENTILATORMODUS

• LAAG VERMOGEN – weinig warmte

(1000W)

• HOOG VERMOGEN – veel warmte (1800

• LANGZAAM DRAAIEN – Lage warmte-

oscillatie (1000W)

• SNEL DRAAIEN – Hoge warmte-

oscillatie (1800W)

3. Draai aan de temperatuurregelaar tot

je een klik hoort – hiermee wordt het

apparaat ingeschakeld. Blijf aan de knop

draaien om de gewenste temperatuur

in te stellen. De temperatuurregelaar

fungeert als thermostaat. Zodra de

kamer de gewenste temperatuur heeft

bereikt, schakelt het apparaat uit.

Uitschakelen:

1. Draai de aan-/uitknop naar de UIT-

positie.

2. Draai de temperatuurregelaar linksom

naar de laagste stand.

3. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact,

laat de kachel afkoelen en berg hem

vervolgens op.

Veiligheidsvoorzieningen op de kachel:

• Dankzij de kantelschakelaar aan de

onderkant van het apparaat gaat de

kachel automatisch uit als hij niet

rechtop staat. Dit is om schade aan je

woning te voorkomen en de kachel gaat

weer aan als hij wel rechtop staat.

• De kachel gaat automatisch uit als hij

oververhit is geraakt. Dit kan zijn omdat

er iets op de kachel ligt. Haal de stekker

uit het stopcontact en wacht 30 minuten

om hem af te laten koelen. Als er geen

schade is aan het apparaat, de kabel of

de stekker, steek dan de stekker weer

in het stopcontact en gebruik hem zoals

normaal.
