NEDERLANDS Conceptronic C54APT Snelstart handleiding Hartelijk gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Conceptronic C54APT. In de bijgaande Snelstart handleiding wordt stap voor stap uitgelegd hoe u de Conceptronic installeert. Ingeval van problemen adviseren wij u onze support-site te bezoeken (ga naar: www.conceptronic.net en klik op ‘Support’). Hier vindt u hoogstwaarschijnlijk de oplossing voor uw probleem. Bij software/drivers installatie: Het is mogelijk dat onderstaande installatie iets afwijkt van de installatie op uw computer. Dit is afhankelijk van de Windows versie die u gebruikt 1 MULTI LANGUAGE INSTALLATION Getting started NEDERLANDS • • • • • Voordat u de Conceptronic C54APT kunt configureren, moet u een ethernet verbinding hebben met uw computer. Wees er zeker van dat u een netwerk kaart heeft geïnstalleerd welke goed werkt. Voor een gedetailleerde beschrijving voor het opzetten van een netwerk, zie de uitgebreide handleiding op de CD-ROM. Gebruik een ethernet switch of crossover UTP kabel om de Conceptronic C54APT aan uw computer te verbinden. Laat uw computer een vast IP adres gebruiken om er zeker van te zijn dat u verbinding kunt maken met uw Conceptronic C54APT. Het standaard IP adres van de C54APT: 10.0.0.1 U dient uw computer in dezelfde IP serie te configureren als de Conceptronic C54APT. U kunt een vast IP adres in de 10.0.0.x serie gebruiken. Gebruik deze als ‘Subnet Mask’ 255.0.0.0 De Conceptronic C54APT is beveiligd met een login. De standaard login is: Username: admin Password: <leeg>, (standaard hoeft u geen wachtwoord in te geven.)* * U kunt later in de configuratie van de Conceptronic C54APT uw eigen wachtwoord toekennen. ENGLISH • • • • • Before you can configure the Conceptronic C54APT, you should have an ethernet connection with your computer.Be sure that you have an ethernet card installed and that it is working properly. For a detailed description how to setup a network, see our manual at the CD-ROM Use a network ethernet switch or cross over UTP cable to connect the Conceptronic C54APT to the computer. Use a fixed IP address to be sure that you can connect to the Conceptronic C54APT. Default IP address of the Conceptronic C54APT: 10.0.0.1 You have to configure your computer in the same IP range as the Conceptronic C54APT. You can use a Fixed IP address in the 10.0.0.x range. Use as ‘Subnet Mask’ 255.0.0.0 The Conceptronic C54APT is protected with a login. Default login: Username: admin Password: <empty>, (no password, by default)* * You can set a password later in the configuration of the Conceptronic C54APT. 8 MULTI LANGUAGE INSTALLATION Basic Configuration Conceptronic C54APT 1 NEDERLANDS Voordat u gaat configureren, configureert u eerst uw systeem. Daarna opent u de verkenner, bijv. MS Internet Explorer. Type in: http://10.0.0.1 <enter>. Nu verschijnt een login-scherm. Deze kunt u naar eigen wens wijzigen als u uw netwerk anders geïdentificeerd wil zien. Let erop dat uw draadloze kaarten dezelfde SSID nodig hebben om verbinding te maken. ENGLISH SSID: Service Set Identifier, is a kind of network name, it identifies a wireless network. Change this if you want your network identified by your own chosen name. Please notice, that your wireless cards need the same SSID to connect ESPAÑOL SSID: Service Set Identifier, es una especie de nombre de red que identifica una red inalámbrica. Cámbielo si quiere identificar su red con otro nombre. Tenga en cuenta que sus tarjetas inalámbricas necesitan el mismo SSID para la conexión. 17 MULTI LANGUAGE INSTALLATION 5 NEDERLANDS WEP: Wired Equivalent Privacy, dit is een beveiligings protocol voor draadloze netwerken. Houd deze standaard aan als ‘inactief’ om het netwerk eerst te testen. Nadat het draadloos netwerk goed draait, raden we u aan om WEP te activeren om uw netwerk te beveiligen. Voor het gebruik van encryptie selecteert u WEP. De wireless clients hebben dezelfde ‘Key’ and ‘Key Size’ indien geselecteerd. ENGLISH WEP: Wired Equivalent Privacy, this is a security protocol for Wireless networks. Leave it by default ‘disabled’ to test the wireless network first. After the wireless network is running fine, we recommend enabling WEP, to secure your wireless network. For using encryption select WEP. Standaard zal de Conceptronic C54APT alle DHCP verzoeken van uw netwerk doosturen. Een draadloze client kan binnen een paar minuten in combinatie met de Conceptronic C54APT worden opgestart. A wireless client can be running within a few minutes in combination with the Conceptronic C54APT.
