UITPAKKEN
De STREX Autoradio is het centrale onderdeel van een geluidsweergavesysteem dat is ontworpen
voor installatie in een voertuig, meestal een auto, maar het kan ook worden gebruikt aan boord
van touringcars, vrachtwagens, boten, bouw- of landbouwmachines, caravans, enz. Het is een 1-DIN
formaat radio-ontvanger, met enkele extra functies en op afstand te bedienen. Er zijn geen andere
toepassingen voor dit product.
Gebruik de Autoradio alleen zoals beschreven is in deze handleiding. Elk ander gebruik wordt
als oneigenlijk beschouwd en kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel of materiële schade. STREX is niet
aansprakelijk voor schade of letsel die het gevolg is van oneigenlijk of onzorgvuldig gebruik.
Haal alles uit de verpakking en controleer op beschadigingen. Als dit het geval is, gebruik of
installeer de Autoradio dan niet. Wees zeer voorzichtig bij het openen van de verpakking om schade
aan het product te voorkomen.
Vergelijk alle onderdelen met de verpakkingsinhoud. Mis je een onderdeel, of je hebt een
beschadigd onderdeel, neem dan contact met ons op via email: [email protected]
Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal of de batterij van de afstandsbediening niet achteloos rondslingeren.
Het kan gevaarlijk speelmateriaal worden voor kinderen. Gooi het verpakkingsmateriaal pas weg als
de Autoradio geïnstalleerd is en werkt.

Houd plastic zakken en folies uit de buurt van baby’s en kinderen om
verstikkingsgevaar te voorkomen!
Dunne folies kunnen aan de neus en mond blijven plakken en de
ademhaling belemmeren.
Bevat kleine onderdelen, niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 3 jaar of
personen die de neiging hebben niet-eetbare voorwerpen in de mond te
stoppen.
Kleine onderdelen kunnen worden ingeslikt of vast komen te zitten in de
luchtpijp en verstikkingsgevaar opleveren. Als algemene richtlijn geldt
dat verstikkingsgevaar alles is met kleine onderdelen met een diameter
van minder dan 31 mm en een lengte van 57 mm.
De afstandsbediening wordt geleverd met de benodigde
knoopcelbatterij. Wees voorzichtig bij het uitpakken en/of plaatsen van
batterijen.
Knoopcelbatterijen zijn klein en zeer krachtig. Voor kinderen kunnen ze
eruitzien als snoep of munten, en ze kunnen heel gemakkelijk worden
ingeslikt.
●Houd nieuwe en gebruikte knoopcelbatterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen.
●Een ingeslikte knoopcelbatterij kan binnen twee uur interne chemische brandwonden
veroorzaken en tot de dood leiden.
●Als je denkt dat de knoopcelbatterij ingeslikt is of in enig deel van het lichaam is geplaatst, dien je
onmiddellijk medische hulp in te roepen.
●Gooi gebruikte knoopcelbatterijen onmiddellijk weg.

PRODUCT AANSLUITING
De STREX Autoradio maakt gebruik van een ISO-aansluiting. Met deze
universele stekkerinterface is het niet nodig om draden af te knippen of
draden te vervangen. Aansluiten is gewoon een kwestie van plug-and-
play.

●De rode draad is voor de ACC-contactschakelaar (positieve elektrode). Dit regelt het in- en
uitschakelen wanneer je jouw auto in- of uitschakelt (wanneer je de autosleutel plaatst/
verwijdert). De gele draad is voor een constante stroomvoorziening (positieve elektrode) en
is verantwoordelijk voor de geheugenfunctie. Hoewel deze twee draden positieve elektroden
zijn, zijn hun functies verschillend. Als deze twee draden verkeerd zijn aangesloten, is er geen
geheugenfunctie.
●De rode, gele en zwarte draad (alle drie) moeten tegelijkertijd worden ingeschakeld. Alleen dan
kan de Autoradio goed werken.
●De blauwe draad voor de automatische antennebesturing hoeft niet te worden aangesloten.
Gewoon omwikkelen met isolatietape.
●Er zijn 4 paar luidsprekerdraden. 1 paar moet verbinding maken met 1 luidspreker. Wikkel
andere draden één voor één in met isolatietape als je auto geen 4 luidsprekers heeft. Wikkel ze
niet allemaal samen!
1. (STROOM AAN/UIT)
Druk kort op de knop om de Autoradio aan te zetten.
Houd drie seconden lang ingedrukt om de Autoradio uit te schakelen.
2. MODUS-FUNCTIE SCHAKELAAR
Druk herhaaldelijk op deze knop en het LCD-scherm toont de volgende volgorde: RADIO →USB
→ SD → AUX-IN → BT. Druk er in de Bluetooth-modus kort op om een gesprek te beëindigen.
3. AUTOMATISCHE ZOEKAFSTEMMING (AMS)
In de RADIO-modus, kort indrukken om te bladeren en lang indrukken om de zender
automatisch op te slaan.
Bij het afspelen is het de functie om het nummer te kiezen.
4. BAND KNOP
In de RADIO-modus wordt elke band cyclisch omgeschakeld door op de toets FM1 - FM2 - FM3
te drukken.
5. I◀◀ (het vorige nummer)
In MP3-spelermodus (USB/SD/MMC): vorig nummer.
In RADIO-modus: zoek de vorige radiozender.
6. ▶▶I (het volgende nummer)
In MP3-spelermodus (USB/SD/MMC): volgend nummer.
In RADIO-modus: zoek de volgende radiozender.
7. 1 ▶I KNOP
Geheugenstations 1-6 voor radio regelen het afspelen van jouw muziek die via het externe
USBof SD/MMC-apparaat komt. Druk eenmaal om het afspelen te starten.
Druk tijdens “play” op de knop om het afspelen te pauzeren. Druk opnieuw op de knop om het
afspelen te hervatten.
8. 2/INT KNOP
Wanneer deze knop wordt ingedrukt, wordt de indicatie ‘INT’ weergegeven en worden de eerste
paar seconden van elk nummer afgespeeld. Druk opnieuw om de intro te stoppen en naar de
track te luisteren.

9. 3/RPT KNOP
Wanneer deze knop wordt ingedrukt, wordt de indicatie ‘RPT’ weergegeven en wordt het
geselecteerde nummer continu herhaald totdat de modus voor het herhalen van het nummer
wordt geannuleerd door opnieuw op de knop ‘RPT’ te drukken.
10. 4/RDM KNOP
Wanneer deze knop wordt ingedrukt, wordt de indicatie ‘RDM’ weergegeven en worden
denummers in willekeurige volgorde afgespeeld in plaats van in de normale volgorde. Om de
willekeurige modus te annuleren, druk je opnieuw op de ‘RDM’-knop.
11. 5/-10 KNOP
Druk in de afspeelmodus kort op -10 om 10 nummers terug te gaan. Druk lang om een map te
kiezen.
12. 6/+10 KNOP
Druk in de afspeelmodus kort op +10 om 10 nummers over te slaan. Druk lang om een map te
kiezen.
13. SD KAART SLEUF
Plaats de SD/MMC-kaart in de sleuf door deze voorzichtig naar binnen te duwen. Selecteer
SD met de moduskiezer. De muziek begint automatisch te spelen. De Autoradio ondersteunt
muziekbestandsformaten: MP3 en WMA.
14. AUX-IN AANSLUITING
Steek je draagbare speler in de aansluiting, in elke afspeelmodus komt het geluid via de
autoluidspreker. Gebruik een kabel (niet meegeleverd) met een 3,5 mm connector.
15. USB POORT
Gebruik indien nodig een USB-kabel (niet meegeleverd) om je draagbare mp3-speler of
telefoon aan te sluiten.
Je kunt ook een USB-stick gebruiken om muziek af te spelen.
16. LCD SCHERM
Het LCD-scherm toont de huidige ontvangst en functie.
17. VOLUME / SELECTIEBEDIENING
Draai aan de volumeknop om het volume te regelen.
Om een andere functie te selecteren, druk je kort op de selectieknop totdat de gewenste
functie op het scherm wordt weergegeven. Volume (draaiknop) → selecteren (omlaag drukken)
→ bas → balans hoge tonen → fader → luid → EQ (at-pop-classic-rock).
Kleur van het autoradio display veranderen (indien van toepassing op model)
→ Om een andere kleur te selecteren, druk je enkele keren op de selectieknop tot je bij de
tekst ‘‘AUTO’’ komt. Hierna kun je aan de knop draaien om de gewenste kleur te selecteren.
Druk nogmaals op de selectieknop om de nieuwe kleur vast te zetten.
18. RESET KNOP
Herstel de fabrieksinstellingen.
19. EQ & LOUD KNOP
Equalizer (plat-pop-klassieke-rock); Luidheid AAN/UIT.
20. CLK KNOP
Elektronische klokknop. Houd deze knop ongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt om de tijd in te
stellen.
25. USB POORT 2,1 A STROOM UITGANG
Gebruik deze poort om je mobiele telefoon, tablet, digitale camera of andere apparaten op te
laden.
Speel muziek af via de andere USB-poort, terwijl je jouw apparaat oplaadt via deze poort.

Gebruiksaanwijzing
●Eerste gebruik: verwijder de plastic afdekking aan de onderkant van de afstandsbediening.
●Dit plastic lipje voorkomt dat de batterij leegloopt en moet voor gebruik worden verwijderd.
●Richt de afstandsbediening op de IR-ontvanger op het voorpaneel van de Autoradio. Voor
optimale prestaties moet u ervoor zorgen dat de afstandsbediening is uitgelijn met de IR-
ontvanger.
●Het maximale bereik van de afstandsbediening is 3 ~ 5 meter.
●Als de afstandsbediening niet goed werkt, neem dan de volgende stappen:
Verwijder alle obstakels tussen de afstandsbediening en de Autoradio.
Verklein de afstand tussen de afstandsbediening en de Autoradio.
Vervang de batterij door een nieuwe batterij.

●Zoek naar Bluetooth-apparaten op je telefoon. De Bluetooth-naam van het apparaat is BT CAR.
●Koppel het apparaat met het wachtwoord “0000”.
●Sommige telefoons maken automatisch verbinding met de radio na het zoeken.
Eenvoudig handsfree bellen met één klik, maakt rijden gemakkelijk en veilig.
Nadat je de Autoradio met Bluetooth hebt verbonden, kun je op de knop klikken om oproepen
te beantwoorden.
Klik op de knop om een gesprek op te hangen.
Met de geheugenfunctie vermijd je het luisteren naar het eerste nummer wanneer de radio is
ingeschakeld. Het geheugen onthoudt frequentie, nummer en volume na het uitschakelen en na
een herstart begint de Autoradio te spelen vanaf het onderbroken nummer.
Geheugen Functie

20 seconden.
Volumeniveau 20. Houd het volumeniveau hetzelfde als voordat
de stroom werd uitgeschakeld.

Algemene Apparaat Veiligheid
●Gebruik de Autoradio niet voor een ander doel dan waarvoor het bedoeld is (zie het hoofdstuk “BEOOGD
GEBRUIK”).
●Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik in een voertuig en moet tegen regen bescherm worden.
●Ga voorzichtig met het apparaat om. Schokken, stoten of een val, zelfs van geringe hoogte, kunnen het
apparaat beschadigen.
●Plaats de Autoradio niet onder mechanische belasting.
●Het apparaat moet correct en veilig worden geïnstalleerd en gemonteerd. Volg de instructies om mogelijk
schade/letsel te voorkomen.
●Gebruik nooit accessoires die niet door de producent worden aanbevolen. Ze kunnen een gevaar vormen
voor de gebruiker en het apparaat beschadigen.
●Steek geen voorwerpen in welke opening ook.
●Oefen geen overmatige kracht uit bij het gebruik van de knoppen op de Autoradio of de
afstandsbediening.
●Raak het scherm niet aan met scherpe voorwerpen.
●Als het niet meer mogelijk is om de Autoradio veilig te gebruiken, stel het apparaat dan buiten gebruik en

buiten bereik van kleine kinderen.
●De Autoradio kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder en personen met
verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis als ze
onder toezicht staan of instructies hebben gekregen over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat en
ze de daaruit voortvloeiende gevaren begrijpen.
●Je mag de Autoradio niet reconstrueren, repareren of demonteren. Dit kan het apparaat
beschadigen.
●Onderhoud, wijzigingen en reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door een
deskundige of in een gekwaliceerde winkel.

bewaard of gebruikt. Stel de apparaten niet bloot aan dramatische temperatuurschommelingen.
Bewaar je apparaten niet voor langere tijd in direct zonlicht.

WAARSCHUWING:
De Autoradio en de afstandsbediening zijn niet waterdicht.
●Gebruik de Autoradio of de afstandsbediening nooit met vochtige of natte handen. Vocht kan
leiden tot elektrische schokken of kortsluitingen.
●Stel de Autoradio of de afstandsbediening niet bloot aan druppels, spatten of regen.
●Giet nooit vloeistoen boven of in de buurt van de Autoradio of de afstandsbediening. Er
bestaat gevaar voor elektrische schokken! Als er toch vloeistof in de behuizing komt, schakel de
Autoradio dan onmiddellijk uit.
●Plaats de afstandsbediening niet in de buurt van vuur of in direct zonlicht. De opwarming van
het apparaat kan extra verwarming, breuk of ontsteking van de batterij veroorzaken.
●Probeer de batterij niet op te laden. Deze batterij is daarvoor niet geschikt.
●Probeer de batterij niet aan te passen of uit elkaar te halen.
●Gebruik je afstandsbediening niet als een batterij geur begint af te geven, oververhit raakt of
begint te lekken.
●Raak geen lekkende materialen aan en adem de dampen van de batterij niet in. Lekkende of
●beschadigde batterijen kunnen bij contact met de huid bijtend letsel veroorzaken, draag daarom
in dat geval geschikte veiligheidshandschoenen.
●Een batterij bevat gevaarlijke stoen. Open de batterij niet en plaats niets in een blootliggende
batterij.
●Sta niet toe dat kinderen en dieren een blootgestelde batterij aanraken.
●Gooi de batterij nooit in het vuur.
●Niet kortsluiten. Bij kortsluiting kan een batterij exploderen of lekken.
●Een lege batterij kan nog steeds gevaarlijk zijn.
●Slik de batterij niet in. Roep onmiddellijk medische hulp in als de batterij wordt ingeslikt.
●Reinig de batterijcontacten en ook die van het apparaat voordat je de batterij installeert.
●Zorg ervoor dat de batterij correct is geplaatst met betrekking tot polariteit (+ en -).
●Onderzoek je apparaat en zorg ervoor dat het batterijvak goed is vastgemaakt.
●Vervang de batterij alleen door een batterij van hetzelfde formaat en hetzelfde type.
●Gebruik de batterij binnen de aanbevolen gebruiksperiode.
●Houd de batterij uit de buurt van kinderen, baby’s of dieren.

●Gebruik dit apparaat met een 12-volt auto-accu en negatieve massa. Als je dit niet doet, kan dit
●leiden tot brand of storing.
●Om kortsluiting in het elektrische systeem te voorkomen, moet je de (-) accukabel loskoppelen
voordat je met de installatie begint.
●Voordat je de aansluitingen maakt, moet je het contact uitschakelen om kortsluiting te
voorkomen.
●Leg geen bedrading onder schroeven.
●Leg de draden niet op plaatsen waar ze aan hoge temperaturen worden blootgesteld. Als
de isolatie van de draden erg heet wordt, kunnen ze beschadigd raken, wat kan leiden tot
kortsluiting of storing en mogelijk blijvende schade aan de Autoradio.
●Om veiligheidsredenen altijd isolatietape bij niet-aangesloten kabels voorzien.

●Kijk niet naar het scherm van de Autoradio en richt je ogen niet op het scherm wanneer je
langere tijd rijdt.
●Houd rekening met het volgende wanneer je naar je Autoradio luistert:
– Zet het volume niet zo hoog dat je omgevingsgeluid, verkeer en voertuigen buiten niet kunt
horen.
– Als het volume te hoog is, kan dit gehoorbeschadiging of -verlies veroorzaken.
– Luister gedurende een redelijke tijd op een redelijk volume.
– Pas op dat je het volume niet continu naar boven bijstelt terwijl je gehoor zich aanpast.
– Minimaliseer het volume voordat je de Autoradio inschakelt om gehoorbeschadiging door
plotselinge blootstelling aan een te hoog volume te voorkomen.
●Plaats de afstandsbediening op een plaats waar deze niet kan bewegen tijdens het remmen of
andere handelingen. Er kan een gevaarlijke situatie ontstaan als de afstandsbediening tijdens
het rijden valt en vast komt te zitten onder de pedalen.

ONDERHOUD & SERVICE
●Gebruik de Autoradio niet in een auto die niet over een ACC-kabel of circuit beschikt.
●Zorg ervoor dat de motor van je voertuig draait tijdens het gebruik van de Autoradio. Als je
de Autoradio gebruikt zonder dat de motor draait, kan de accu leeglopen. Dit kan worden
voorkomen door de Autoradio correct te installeren.
●Als de batterij wordt losgekoppeld of ontladen, wordt het geheugen gewist en moet je de
Autoradio opnieuw programmeren.
●Zet de stroom uit voordat je gaat reinigen. Een zachte droge doek wordt aanbevolen voor het
reinigen van de buitenkant van de Autoradio.
●Pas op dat je tijdens het schoonmaken niet te veel druk op het scherm of de knoppen uitoefent.
●Dompel de Autoradio niet onder in water of andere vloeistoen. Het is niet toegestaan om het
apparaat met water af te spoelen, om te voorkomen dat het water in het elektrische circuit lekt
en storingen veroorzaakt.
●Gebruik in geen geval agressieve reinigingsmiddelen, reinigingsalcohol of andere chemische
oplossingen, omdat deze de behuizing kunnen binnendringen of de functionaliteit kunnen
aantasten.
●Gebruik voor het schoonmaken geen staalborstel, staalwol of andere schurende voorwerpen.
●Reiniging mag niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen.
●De Autoradio en de afstandsbediening hebben geen onderhoud nodig.
●Je mag de Autoradio of de afstandsbediening niet reconstrueren, zelf repareren of demonteren.
●Controleer regelmatig op beschadigingen en ernstige slijtage.
WAARSCHUWINGEN:
●Probeer de Autoradio of de afstandsbediening niet te openen voor
onderhoud. Het verwijderen van de behuizing of een onjuiste hermontage
kan elektrische schokken, schade, kortsluitingen of brand veroorzaken.
●Als je om welke reden dan ook de behuizing opent, vervalt de garantie. De
apparaten bevatten geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden
onderhouden. Alleen de batterij van de afstandsbediening en de zekering
van de Autoradio kan worden vervangen.

The STREX Car Radio is the central part of a sound reproduction system designed for installation in
a vehicle, usually, a car, although it is also can be used onboard coaches, trucks, boats, construction
or agricultural machinery, caravans, etc. It is a 1-DIN size radio receiver, with some additional
functions and it can be remotely controlled. There are no other uses for this product.
Only use the Car Radio as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and may
result in personal injury or material damage. STREX is not liable for damage or injury resulting from
improper or careless use.
Remove everything from the packaging and check for damage. If this is the case, do not use or
install the Car radio. Be very careful when opening the package to avoid damage to the product.

The STREX Car Radio is using an ISO socket. With this universal plug
interface, there is no
need to trim wires or change wires. Connecting is just a matter of plug-
and-play.

●The red wire is for the ACC ignition switch (positive electrode). It controls turning on/o when
you power on/o your car (when you insert/remove your car key). The yellow wire is for a
constant power supply (positive electrode) and is responsible for the memory function. Although
these two wires are positive electrodes, their functions are dierent. If these two wires are
connected wrong, there is no memory function.
●The red, yellow, and black wire (all three) has to be powered on simultaneously. Only then the
Car radio can work well.
●The blue wire for the auto antenna control doesn’t need to be connected. Just wrap it up with
insulated tape.
●There are 4 pairs of speaker wires. 1 pair must connect to 1 speaker. Wrap up other wires one by
one with insulated tape if your car does not have 4 speakers. Do not wrap them all together!

2. MODE-FUNCTION SELECTOR
Push this button repeatedly and the LCD will display the following sequence: RADIO →USB
→ SD → AUX-IN → BT. BT. In the Bluetooth mode, short press to end a call.
3. AUTO SEEK SEARCH TUNING (AMS)
In the RADIO Mode, short press for browsing, and long press to automatically save the station.
In playback, the function is to choose the song.
4. BAND BUTTON
In the RADIO mode, each band is toggled cyclically by pressing the key FM1 - FM2 - FM3.

9. 3/RPT BUTTON
When this button is pressed, the ‘RDM’ indication is displayed and the tracks are played in

When this button is pressed, the ‘RDM’ indication is displayed and the tracks are played in

11. 5/-10 BUTTON
In playback mode, short press to -10 to go back 10 songs. Long press to choose a folder..
12. 6/+10 BUTTON
In playback mode, short press +10 to skip 10 songs. Long press to choose a folder.
13. SD CARD SLOT
Insert the SD/MMC card in the slot by pushing it gently inward. Select SD with the mode
selector. The music starts to play automatically. The Car Radio supports music le formats:
MP3 and WMA.
14. AUX-IN JACK
Insert your portable player into the jack, in any playing mode, audio will come through the car
speaker. Use a cable (not included in the package) with a 3.5mm connector.
15. USB PORT
Use a USB cable (not included in the package) if necessary, to connect your portable MP3
player or telephone.
You can also use a USB stick to play back music.
16. LCD DISPLAY
The LCD display shows the actual reception and function.
17. VOLUME / SELECT CONTROL

To select another function, press the select button shortly until the desired function is shown
on the display. Volume (rotate knob) → select (push down) → bass → treble balance → fader →

‘’AUTO’’. After this you can turn the knob to select the desired color. Press the knob button
again to lock in the new color.

Equalizer (at-pop-classic-rock); Loudness ON/OFF.
20. CLK BUTTON
Electronic clock button. Press and hold this button for about 3 seconds to set the time.

Use this port for charging your mobile phone, tablet, digital camera, or other devices.
Play music by using the other USB port, while charging your device with this port.

General Information
Operating Instructions
●First-time use: Remove the plastic cover on the bottom of the remote controller. This plastic tab
prevents the battery from draining and must be removed before use.
●Aim the remote control unit at the IR receiver located on the front panel of the Car Radio. For
optimum performance, make sure there is a clear line of sight between the remote control unit
and the IR receiver.
●The maximum range of the remote control unit is 3 ~ 5 meters.
●If the remote controller does not work properly, please take the following steps:
●Remove all obstacles between the remote controller and the Car Radio.
●Reduce the distance between the remote controller and the Car Radio.
●Replace the battery with a new battery.

●Pair to the device using the password “0000”.
●Some phones automatically connect to the radio after searching.
Easy one-click Bluetooth hands-free calls, makes driving convenient and safe.
After connecting the Car Radio with Bluetooth, you can click on the button to answer calls.
Click on the. button to hang up a call.
With the memory function, you avoid listening to the rst song whenever the Radio is turned on.
The memory remembers frequency, track, and volume after a power o and after a restart, the Car
Radio starts playing from the interrupted song.

General Device Safety
●Do not use the Car Radio for any other purpose other than its intended use (see the chapter “INTENDED
USE”).
●This device is intended for use in a vehicle only and must be protected from rain.
●Handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts, or a fall even from a low height can damage the device.
●Do not place the Car Radio under mechanical stress.
●The device needs to be properly and securely installed and mounted. Follow the instructions to prevent
any possible damage/injury.
●Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. They can pose a danger to the user and
damage the device.
●Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
●Do not apply excessive force when using the buttons on the Car Radio or the remote controller.
●Do not touch the display with sharp objects.
●If it is no longer possible to operate the Car Radio safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. A safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the device:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

●The Car Radio and the remote controller are not toys. Keep and store them out of the reach of
small children.
●The Car Radio can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device safely and they understand the
resulting hazards.
●You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the Car Radio. This can damage the device.
●Maintenance, modications, and repairs may only be carried out by an expert or a qualied
shop.
●Check the device from time to time for damage. Never use the device if it shows signs of
damage.
●Make sure your vehicle battery supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the
device.
●Make sure to follow the wiring connections as mentioned in the chapter “PRODUCT
CONNECTION”.
●If there’s a smoke, re, or a strange odor coming from your device, you should turn o the Car
radio immediately.
●Do not cover the ventilation holes as this may cause the Car Radio to overheat. This poses a risk
of re, electric shock, or injury.
●Make sure that the ventilation around the device is good.
●Prolonged parking in direct sunlight can cause high temperatures in your car, which can damage
your Car Radio if used. Therefore, allow the interior of the car to cool down before using the car
radio.
●The Car Radio is designed to work best in normal ambient temperatures between 10° and 60°C.
The Car Radio may be damaged and the battery life of the remote controller may be shortened
if the device is stored or used outside this temperature range. Do not subject the devices to
dramatic changes in temperature. Do not store your devices in direct sunlight for extended
periods.
●Do not use the Car Radio and the remote controller in a tropical climate.

WARNING:
The Car Radio and the remote controller are not waterproof.
●Never use the Car Radio or the remote controller with damp or wet hands. Moisture can cause
electric shock or short circuits.
●Do not expose the Car Radio or the remote controller to dripping, splashing, or rain.
●Never pour liquids over or near the Car Radio or the remote controller. There is a risk of electric
shock! If liquid does get into the housing, turn o the device immediately.
●Do not place the remote controller near a re, or in direct sunlight. The heating of the device can
cause additional heating, breaking, or ignition of the battery.
●Do not attempt to charge the battery. This battery is not suitable for this.
●Do not attempt to modify or disassemble your battery.
●Do not use your remote controller if the battery begins to emit odor, overheats, or begins to
leak.
●Do not touch any leaking materials or breathe fumes emitted from the battery. A leaking or
damaged battery can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective
gloves.
●The battery contains dangerous substances, do not open the battery or insert anything into the
exposed battery.
●Do not allow children and animals to touch an exposed battery.
●Never throw the battery into a re.
●Do not short circuit the battery. The battery can explode or leak if shorted.
●A at battery can still be dangerous.
●Do not swallow the battery. Immediately seek medical advice if the battery is swallowed.
●Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device before battery installation.
●Ensure the battery is installed correctly concerning polarity (+ and -).
●Examine your device and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured.
●Only replace the battery with the same size and the same type of battery.
●Use the battery within the recommended usage period.
●Keep the battery away from children, babies, or animals.

Safety During Installation
Safety While Driving
●Use this unit with a 12-volt car battery and negative ground. Failure to do so may result in re or
malfunction.
●To avoid short circuits in the electrical system, disconnect the (-) battery cable before beginning
installation.
●Before making the connections, turn o the ignition to avoid short circuits.
●Do not place wiring under screws.
●Do not run the wires where they will be exposed to high temperatures. If the insulation of the
wires becomes very hot, they can become damaged, causing a short circuit or malfunction and
possibly permanent damage to the Car Radio.
●For safety reasons, always provide insulating tape with unconnected cables.
●After installing the car radio,
●Do not use the car radio if it distracts your attention from driving your car safely. If you are
having trouble using the car radio or reading the screen, park your car in a safe place and apply
the parking brake before making any necessary adjustments.
●Do not look at the screen of the car radio and do not focus your eyes on the screen when driving
for an extended period.
●Keep the following in mind when listening to your car radio:
– Don’t turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear ambient noise, trac, and vehicles
outside.
– If the volume is too high, it may cause hearing damage or loss.
– Listen at a reasonable volume for a reasonable amount of time.
– Be careful not to continuously adjust the volume upwards as your hearing adjusts.
– Minimize the volume before turning on the car radio to avoid hearing damage from sudden
– exposure to excessive volume.
●Place the remote control where it cannot move during braking or other operations. A dangerous
situation can arise if the remote control falls and gets caught under the pedals while driving.

CLEANING
MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
●Do not use the car radio in a car that does not have an ACC wire or circuit available.
●Make sure your vehicle’s engine is running while using the car radio. Using the car radio without
the engine running can drain the battery. This can be prevented by correctly installing the car
radio.
●If the battery is disconnected or discharged, the memory will be erased and you will need to
reprogram the car radio.
●Put the power o before cleaning.
●A soft dry cloth is recommended for cleaning the exterior of the Car Radio.
●Be careful not to put too much pressure on the display or buttons while cleaning.
●Do not immerse the Car Radio in water or any other liquids. It is not allowed to rinse the device
with water, to prevent the water from leaking into the electrical circuit and causing malfunctions.
●Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol, or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
●Do not use a wire brush, steel wool, or other abrasive objects for cleaning.
●Cleaning must not be performed by children.
●The Car Radio or the remote controller does not require any maintenance.
●You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the Car Radio or the remote controller.
●Check regularly for damage and severe wear.
WARNINGS:
●Do not attempt to open the Car Radio or the remote controller for
maintenance. Removing the housing or improper reassembly may cause
electric shocks, damage, short circuit, or re.
●If for any reason you open the housing, the warranty will become null and
void. The devices contain no user-serviceable parts. Only the battery of the
remote controller and the fuse of the Car Radio can be replaced.
●To obtain maintenance or service, please contact us rst at our email

qualied shop.

●Store the devices in a place not exposed to sunlight & humidity, which is dust-free.
●Do not store the devices in extremely high or extremely low temperatures. This can damage the
devices.
●Store the Car Radio, the remote controller, and the accessories beyond the reach of small
children.
●Remove the battery from the remote controller before long-time storage.
●Protect the Car Radio and the remote controller against vibrations and shocks during transport.
This product complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE).
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the appliance indicates that,
at the end of its life, the product must be disposed of separately from
normal household waste and taken to a separate collection center for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment or returned to the seller
at the time a new similar device is purchased.
The user is responsible for taking the device to a waste collection service
at the end of its service life. Correct separate collection of waste with a
view to subsequent recycling, processing, and environmentally friendly
disposal of the device helps to prevent possible negative impacts on the
environment and health and promotes the recycling of the materials of
which the product is composed. The unlawful disposal of the product by
the user results in administrative sanctions laid down by law. For more

The remote controller contains a small Lithium button cell battery that cannot be
disposed of with normal household waste. The battery should be recycled
following your local regulations.
Remove the battery from the remote controller before disposal.
As an end consumer, you are legally obliged to hand in all empty batteries
following KCA regulations (small chemical waste).
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just
dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure they
are collected for recycling.

in materials and workmanship. STREX, at its discretion, will replace or repair this product or any

replacement unit will be returned to you for no charge and will be covered under this warranty for the
