Instructions for Use  Please read the instructions carefully before use.  Remove all packaging before use.  Position under heel/heels so that the heel/heels immerse into the gel sac/sacs.  The Softform Heelpad is designed to be used in conjunction with the Softform OdstockWedge to provide improved support of the lower limb/limbs. Product Description The Invacare range of Softform Heelpads offers exceptional pressure reducing qualities, specific to the individual needs of the body. The Softform Heelpad is designed to reduce pressure on the vulnerable heel area. The controlled volume of gel within the sac/sacs allows pressure displacement and even weight distribution. Pressure on the patient's heel/heels is kept to a minimum when the heel/heels is/are in contact with the gel sac/sacs. The heavy duty water-resistant cover provides a vapour-permeable, two-way stretch surface to promote patient comfort and maximise the effectiveness of the foam core. Repositioning It is very important for the patient to reposition themselves, or to be repositioned, on a regular basis. This relieves pressure; helps prevent both tissue compression and potential ulcer formation. Cleaning, Disinfection and Re-processing  The cleaning protocols should be undertaken as part of a cleaning regime or in the event of a change of user. The cover can be wiped down using a solution of neutral detergent and hot water, applied with a single-use wipe. Cleaning agents containing phenols or alcohols should not be used.  In the event of the cover becoming contaminated, please ask your Infection Control Officer for advice or alternatively to disinfect the cover apply a 0.1% chloride solution with a single use wipe and rinse with clean water.  The Heelpad is provided with disposable Platilon covers, facilitating improved infection control. Additional covers may be purchased separately. Changing the cover The cover cannot be changed as it is welded to prevent fluid ingression. Disposable covers are provided to facilitate infection control. No se debe utilizar agentes de limpieza que tengan alcohol o fenoles.  En caso de que la funda esté contaminada, por favor pregunte a su Oficial de Control de Infecciones por consejo o bien, desinfectar la funda aplicando 0.1% de solución de cloro con un paño de una única utilización y enjuague con agua limpia.  El Heelpad se entrega con fundas Plantilon, mejorando el control de infecciones. Estas fundas adicionales se pueden comprar por separado. Cambio de la funda La funda no puede ser cambiada ya que está sellada para prevenir el ingreso de fluidos. Se entregan fundas desechables para facilitar el control de infección. Sostituzione della fodera La fodera non può essere cambiata in quanto è saldata al fine di impedire l'ingresso di fluidi. Sono fornite fodere removibili supplementari per facilitare il controllo di possibili infezioni. Description du produit La gamme d'aide technique à la posture Cale talon permet d'obtenir d'excellentes répartitions des pressions tout en assurant un maximum de confort pour le patient. La première prévention de l'escarre au lit consiste à changer les points d'appui du corps sur le matelas en moyenne toutes les 3 heures pour limiter la compression trop prolongée des vaisseaux en regard des saillies osseuses et pour permettre l'irrigation des tissus. La Cale talon est conçu pour réduire la pression sur les zones sensibles du talon. Le contrôle du volume des poches de gel permet un déplacement des pressions et même une répartition du poids. La pression sur les talons d'un patient est minimale quand les talons sont en contact avec les poches de gel. La housse est imperméable aux liquides, perméable à la vapeur d'eau, bi-extensible pour assurer un très bon confort et maximiser les caractéristiques de la mousse et du gel. Produktbeschreibung Die Invacare® Softform® Fersenpolster bieten eine außergewöhnliche, den individuellen Bedürfnissen des Patienten angepasste Druckentlastung. Es entlastet die besonders empfindlichen Fersen durch Druckverteilung in den Gelsäcken und eine gleichmäßige Gewichtsverteilung. Die Druckbelastung auf die Fersen wird auf ein Minimum reduziert, wenn die Fersen auf den Gelsäcken liegen. Der bi-elastische, atmungsaktive, wasserundurchlässige Bezug bietet dem Patienten höchsten Komfort und maximiert die Wirksamkeit des Fersenkissens. Umlagerung Es ist sehr wichtig, dass der Patient regelmäßig seine Position ändert oder umgelagert wird. Dies führt zu einer Druckentlastung und wirkt so der Bildung von Druckstellen und Druck-geschwüren entgegen. Reinigung, Desinfektion und Wiederaufbereitung Während der Benutzung sollte das Fersenpolster einmal wöchentlich mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden. Der Bezug kann mit einem Neutralreiniger (mildes, handelsübliches Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel) und heißem Wasser abgewischt werden. Bei starker Verschmutzung empfehlen wir die Reinigung mit einer verdünnten Reinigerlösung bei 80°C in der Waschmaschine. Bei der Reinigung sollten keine Reiniger verwendet werden, die Phenol oder Alkohol Enthalten. Im Falle einer Kontaminierung wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Hygienebeauftragten. Der Bezug kann mit einer 0,1%igen Chlorlösung mit einem Einmaltuch abgewischt werden. Danach mit Klarwasser abspülen. D Bezug Öffnen Sie den Reißverschluss des Bezuges und ziehen Sie ihn vorsichtig vom Fersenkissen. Beim Beziehen des Fersenkissens mit einem neuen Bezug achten Sie bitte darauf, dass sich die Ecken des Fersenkissens korrekt in den Ecken des Bezuges befinden. Danach schließen Sie den Reißverschluss. Hinweise zum Wiedereinsatz des Fersenpolster Bei einem Patientenwechsel muss das Fersenpolster, wie in Punkt Reinigung, Desinfektion und Wiederaufbereitung beschrieben, gereinigt und desinfiziert werden. Bitte reinigen Sie den Bezug beim Patientenwechsel. Es sollte ein Reinigungsprotokoll als Teil des Reinigungssystems geführt Werden. Zubehör Zu den Fersenpolstern kann als Unterstützung das Invacare® Softform® Keilkissen eingesetzt werden. Es reduziert zusätzlich den Druck auf die Fersen indem Knie und Hüfte gebeugt und die Knie gleichzeitig angehoben werden. Qualität und Entflammbarkeit Invacare® ist gem.
