Manager, System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager of Microsoft System Center Current Branch wordt uitgevoerd. Dell Command
| Warranty helpt u bij het ophalen van de garantie-informatie voor een lijst van clientsystemen die zijn opgeslagen in de database van de
Configuration Manager, of in een bestand. Clientsystemen worden gespecificeerd aan de hand van hun servicetags.

OPMERKING: Voor het installeren van Dell Command | Warranty moet u zijn aangemeld als systeemadministrator.

1. Download het .exe-bestand voor Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center naar het systeem dat u gebruikt voor het
beheren van uw clients.
2. Klik op het *.exe-bestand en klik vervolgens op Volgende in het welkomstscherm.
3. Ga akkoord met de licentievoorwaarden en klik vervolgens op Volgende.
4. Selecteer de installatie-optie Volledig en klik vervolgens op Volgende.
5. Volg de rest van de installatiewizard.
6. Klik op Voltooien wanneer het proces is voltooid.
Dell Command | Warranty installeren als zelfstandige
applicatie
1. Download het *.exe-bestand voor Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center naar het systeem dat u gebruikt voor het
beheren van uw clients.
2. Klik op het *.exe-bestand en klik vervolgens op Volgende in het welkomstscherm.
3. Ga akkoord met de licentievoorwaarden en klik vervolgens op Volgende.
4. Selecteer de installatie-optie Aangepast en klik op Volgende.
5. Klik op de keuzelijst naast Configuration Manager Extensions en selecteer de optie Deze functie is niet beschikbaar.
6. Klik op Volgende en ga verder met de rest van de installatiewizard.
7. Klik op Voltooien wanneer het proces is voltooid.

Start Dell Command | Warranty met een opdrachtregeltool.
1. Open een opdrachtprompt.
2. Ga naar de map waarin u de Dell Command | Warranty bestanden hebt geplaatst.
Typ bijvoorbeeld: cd C:\Program Files\Dell\Command . . .
3. Typ de naam van het uitvoerbare bestand.
Typ bijvoorbeeld: DellWarranty-CLI.exe

Voordat u Dell Command | Warranty gebruikt, doet u het volgende:
1. Start Dell Command | Warranty.
Zie Dell Command | Warranty starten voor meer informatie.
2. Voer DellWarranty-CLI.exe /H in om het gebruik weer te geven.
OPMERKING: Voor het functioneren van Dell Command | Warranty moet u een /InputFile- of een /
InputCfgMgrConnectionString-parameter opgeven. Zie CLI-opties.

Garantie-informatie ophalen
1. Als het systeem waarop Dell Command | Warranty is geïnstalleerd, toegang heeft tot Configuration Manager en in staat is om
verbinding te maken met internet (inclusief via proxy):
a. Start Dell Command | Warranty.
Zie Dell Command | Warranty starten voor meer informatie.
b. Configureer Dell Command | Warranty.
Zie Dell Command | Warranty configureren voor meer informatie.
c. Garantie-informatie ophalen via de Configuration Manager-database:
● Gebruik de opdracht: DellWarranty-CLI.exe /ICS=”Data Source=[host];Database=[ Configuration Manager dbname];Integrated
Security=true;”
● Verbindingstekenreeks naar de Configuration Manager-database:
"Data Source=[host];Database=[ Configuration Manager dbname];Integrated Security=true;")
"Data Source=[host];Database=[ Configuration Manager dbname];User id=[username];Password=[userpwd]"

De garantie-informatie van de Dell clientsystemen wordt opgehaald en opgeslagen als een .csv-bestand in de map: Default:
[%ProgramData%\Dell\Warranty\][WarrantyOutput_[yyyyMMddhhmmss].csv.
OPMERKING:
Het bestand wordt opgeslagen als WarrantyInformation_YYYY_MM_DD.csv (waarbij YYYY het jaar is,
MM de maand en DD de dag).
2. Als het systeem waarop Dell Command | Warranty is geïnstalleerd geen toegang heeft tot Configuration Manager, maar wel in staat is
om verbinding te maken met internet (inclusief via proxy):
a. Start Dell Command | Warranty.
Zie Dell Command | Warranty starten voor meer informatie.
b. Maak een .csv-bestand met de servicetags.
c. De garantie-informatie ophalen voor de servicetags opgeslagen in het .csv-bestand dat u hebt gemaakt in de vorige stap:
● Voer de volgende opdracht in: DellWarranty-CLI.exe /I=C:\FileName.csv.
De garantie-informatie van de Dell clientsystemen wordt opgehaald en opgeslagen als een .csv-bestand in de map:
Default: [ProgramData\Dell\Warranty\][WarrantyOutput_[yyyyMMddhhmmss].csv. Wanneer u een ander
pad wilt gebruiken dan het standaardpad, gebruikt u de opdrachtregeloptie /Ocs. Zie CLI-opties.
OPMERKING:
Het bestand wordt opgeslagen als WarrantyOutput_[yyyMMddhhmmss].csv (waarbij yyyy het jaar is, MM
de maand, dd de dag, hh het uur, mm de minuut en ss de seconde).
OPMERKING: De standaardnaam kan ook worden overschreven wanneer u de opdrachtregeloptie /Ocs gebruikt.
Als er ongeldige codes worden gevonden in het aanvraagbestand, wordt er een %ProgramData%\Dell\Warranty\]
[WarrantyerrorOutput_[yyyyMMddhhmmss].csv)-bestand gemaakt.

8 Garantie-informatie ophalen
Opdrachtregelinterface (CLI)-opties
Gebruik de volgende CLI-opties en -syntaxis bij het inschakelen van de Warranty-tool.

opdracht /Ocs twee extra tabellen: Dell_Asset
en Dell_AssetEntitlement. Deze tabellen worden
gebruikt voor het opslaan van garantie-
informatie die eerst wordt gewist, en
vervolgens wordt ingevuld vanuit uw /InputFile-
of /InputCfgMgrConnectionString-servicetags.
OPMERKING: Nadat de database is
gemaakt, kunt u de locatie van de bestanden
[warranty dbname].mdf en [Warranty
dbname]_log.ldf wijzigen met behulp van de
SQL-opdracht alter database of SQL
Server Management Studio.
OPMERKING: Als de database al
bestaat en de tabellen Dell_Asset en
Dell_AssetEntitlement niet bestaan, moet u de
tabellen maken.
