Branchez l’appareil sur le courant alternatif de 230 volts. Branchez l’appareil uniquement sur une installation électrique conforme aux normes en vigueur avec une protection de circuit temporisée. Vérifiez que l’intensité maximale de tous les appareils se trouvant sur ce disjoncteur ne puisse dépasser l’intensité du disjoncteur (16A). Les réparations sur les appareils électriques doivent être effectuées uniquement par un professionnel qualifié. Une réparation non conforme peut entraîner des risques importants pour l’utilisateur. Ne pas utiliser de multiprises, de rallonge, d’adaptateur pour le branchement de l’appareil, risque de surchauffe et d’incendie. Par mesure de sécurité, débrancher l’appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé et avant toute absence prolongée. Ne jamais tirer sur le cordon d’alimentation, mais sur la prise elle-même pour le débrancher. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation se trouve sous/sur l’appareil. La prise doit être accessible après l’installation. Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon d’alimentation pour déplacer l’appareil. Veillez toujours à ce que le cordon d’alimentation soit libre en cas de changement d’emplacement. N’enroulez 3 FR • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • 4 jamais le cordon d’alimentation autour de l’appareil. Veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne présente pas de risque de faire trébucher. Ne pas recouvrir le cordon d’alimentation par un tapis, moquette, couverture... Toujours tenir la prise lorsque vous branchez ou débranchez l’appareil. Ne débranchez jamais en tirant sur le cordon. Risque de choc électrique et de dommage. Arrêtez d’abord l’appareil avant de retirer la prise secteur. Ne pas placer l’appareil juste en dessous d’une prise murale ou d’un boîtier de connexion. L’appareil doit être stocké dans un endroit sec, à l’abri de l’humidité et dont la température est comprise entre 15°C et 25°C. N’immergez ou ne poser jamais l’appareil dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Débranchez immédiatement la prise secteur si l’appareil se retrouve mouillé ou humide. N’utilisez pas l’appareil avec les mains mouillées ou humides. N’utilisez pas l’appareil en extérieur (il n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation en plein air). Ne laissez pas l’appareil en marche sans surveillance. Ne pas poser d’objets sur le dessus de l’appareil. Ne pas s’assoir sur l’appareil. Ne soumettez pas l’appareil à la chaleur (radiateur, four…), au rayonnement solaire direct ou à l’humidité. Toujours utiliser l’appareil verticalement. Faites attention aux risques de dommages que présentent les arêtes vives de l’appareil. • • • • • • • • EN NL S’assurer que les meubles, les rideaux ou les autres matériaux combustibles sont positionnés à plus d’un (1) mètre de l’appareil. Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, toujours débrancher la prise secteur. AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas couvrir l’appareil. Ne pas placer de matériaux ou de vêtements sur l’appareil ou entraver la circulation d’air autour de l’appareil. NE PAS BLOQUER LA VENTILATION ! Vérifiez régulièrement que les entrées et sorties d’air ne soient pas obstruées. Ne rien introduire à travers la grille de protection (doigt, stylo, outil…) Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil si les grilles de protections ne sont pas installées conformément à la notice. Ne pas démonter la grille de protection pour le nettoyage. Ne pas placer l’arrivée d’air de l’appareil à proximité de murs ou de rideaux (1m). L’obstruction du passage de l’air risquant de réduire son efficacité. Branchement électrique AVERTISSEMENT : cet appareil doit être relié à la terre Branchez l’appareil uniquement sur le courant alternatif de 230 volts (respecter les indications figurant sur la plaque signalétique) et sur une installation électrique conforme aux normes en vigueur. AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION OSCILLATION Pour activer l’oscillation, poussez le bouton de commande de l’oscillation vers le bas (8). Relevez le bouton de commande de l’oscillation (9) pour arrêter l’oscillation. 1. 2. 3. Veuillez lire attentivement ces instructions avant d’utiliser l’appareil et conservez-les pour une consultation ultérieure. Vérifiez si la tension de votre réseau électrique local correspond à celle qui figure sur l’appareil. Avant la première utilisation, retirez les films ou autocollants protecteurs de l’appareil. ASSEMBLAGE 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Placez le support en position verticale. Fixez le moteur au support (11) à l’aide de la vis du support (12). Dévissez le capuchon de l’hélice (2) en tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Dévissez l’écrou de sécurité (4) de l’arbre du moteur (6) en le tournant dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre. Fixez la grille arrière (5) sur l’arbre du moteur (6) en alignant bien les 3 trous sur les 3 embouts situés à l’avant du moteur. Fixez la grille arrière à l’aide de l’écrou de sécurité (4) en le tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Fixez l’hélice du ventilateur (3) sur l’arbre du moteur (6). Serrez le capuchon de l’hélice (2) dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre. (Important : assurez-vous que le capuchon de l’hélice (2) est suffisamment serré sur la surface de l’arbre du moteur (6). Dévissez la vis (14) située en bas de la grille. Assemblez la grille frontale (1) et la grille arrière (5) en plaçant le crochet (15) en haut. Serrez à l’aide des loquets situés tout autour de la grille et placez la vis de fixation située sur le bas de la grille (14) pour votre sécurité. Assurez-vous d’avoir tout bien fixé. www.ewt-france.com 3. 4. Branchez l’appareil sur la prise secteur. Activez le ventilateur en tournant le bouton de contrôle de vitesse (9) situé à l’arrière dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Le bouton permet également de régler la vitesse en sélectionnant la position RAPIDE ”3”, MOYENNE ”2” ou LENTE ”1”. Pour régler la direction du flux d’air vers le haut ou vers le bas, relevez ou baissez l’unité du moteur ou la grille arrière. Veillez à ne pas insérer les doigts à travers la grille. Tournez le bouton dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre pour éteindre le ventilateur. VITESSE Tournez le bouton de contrôle de vitesse (9) pour régler la vitesse de ventilation sur la position RAPIDE ”3”, MOYENNE “2” ou LENTE “1”. Tournez le bouton dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre pour arrêter la ventilation. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN • • • • • • Toujours débrancher l’appareil du secteur et le laisser refroidir complètement avant de le nettoyer. Ne pas utiliser d’éponge abrasive, de tampon à récurer ou de brosse dure pour nettoyer l’appareil. Nettoyer avec précaution la partie située près du moteur. Utiliser uniquement un chiffon humide pour nettoyer les surfaces extérieures de l’appareil. Ne pas immerger le corps principal dans l’eau. Éviter que le moteur ou les autres composants électriques ne soient en contact avec de l’eau. Toujours entreposer l’appareil dans un environnement à faible taux d’humidité. CET APPAREIL EST CONÇU UNIQUEMENT POUR UN USAGE DOMESTIQUE GARANTIE Cet appareil EWT® est assorti d’une garantie de (2) ans à compter de la date d’achat sous les conditions d’utilisation normales. La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages dus directement ou indirectement à une utilisation abusive, à la négligence, à une utilisation non conforme, aux accidents, réparations non conformes ou modifications ainsi qu’à un défaut d’entretien. Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future use. Check that the voltage of your local electricity network complies with the one which appears on the appliance. Before using the appliance for the first time, remove the appliance’s protective films or stickers. ASSEMBLY 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Place the bracket into vertical position. Attach the motor (7) to the bracket (11) using the mounting screw (12). Unscrew the blade centre cap (2) by turning it in a clockwise direction. Unscrew the safety nut (4) of the motor shaft (6) by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction. Attach the back grill (5) to the motor shaft (6) making sure that you align the three holes with the three mounting stubs located at the front of the motor. Attach the back grill using the safety nut (4) by turning it in a clockwise direction. Attach the fan blade (3) to the motor shaft (6). Tighten the blade centre cap (2) by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction. (Important: make sure that the blade centre cap (2) is sufficiently tightened to the surface of the motor shaft (6). Unscrew the mounting screw (14) located on the bottom of the grill. Assemble the front grill (1) and the back grill (5) by placing the hook (15) at the top. Tighten using the locking latches located all around the grill and screw in the small mounting screw on the bottom of the grill (14) for your safety. Ensure that all elements are correctly attached. www.ewt-france.com 3. 4. EN NL Plug the appliance into the socket. Activate the fan by turning the speed control button (9) located at the back in a clockwise direction. The button also allows you to set the speed by selecting the FAST “3”, MEDIUM “2” or SLOW “1” positions. In order to set the direction of the air flow upwards or downwards, lift or lower the motor unit or the back grill. Make sure that your fingers do not go through the grill. Turn the button in an anti-clockwise direction to switch the fan off. SPEED Turn the speed control button (9) to set the fan speed to the FAST “3”, MEDIUM “2” or SLOW “1”. Turn the button in an anti-clockwise direction to stop the fan. OSCILLATION In order to activate the oscillation function, push the oscillation control button downwards (8). Push the oscillation control button (9) upwards again to stop oscillation. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE • • • • • • Always unplug the appliance from the electricity supply and let it cool down completely prior to cleaning it. Do not use an abrasive sponge, a scouring pad or a stiff brush to clean the appliance. Clean the area close to the motor very carefully. Only use damp cloth to clean the outer surfaces of the appliance. Do not immerse the main body of the appliance into water. Make sure that the motor and the appliance’s other electrical components do not come into contact with water. Always store the appliance in an environment with as little dampness as possible. THIS APPLIANCE IS DESIGNED FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY 9 FR EN NL WARRANTY INFORMATION RELATING TO ECO-DESIGN OF FANS This EWT® appliance comes with a two- (2) year warranty which begins on the date of purchase and only applies to use under normal conditions. The warranty does not apply to damage incurred as a direct or indirect result of inappropriate use, negligence, improper use, accidents, improper repairs or lack of maintenance. Please keep your receipt/invoice as proof of purchase. The accessories which come with this are consumables and the warranty pertaining to them is limited to one (1) month. Information required for fans, in compliance with regulation (EU) N° 206/2012 in application of Directive 2009/125/CE by the European Parliament and Council concerning the eco-design requirements applicable to air conditioners and fans. Controleer dat de spanning van uw plaatselijke elektriciteitsnet overeenstemt met de vermelde waarde op het toestel. Verwijder vóór het eerste gebruik alle folies of zelfklevers van het toestel. MONTAGE 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Plaats de houder verticaal. Bevestig de motor (7) op de houder (11) met behulp van de schroef van de houder (12). Schroef de propellerdop (2) los door deze met de wijzers van de klok mee te draaien. Draai de veiligheidsmoer (4) van de aandrijfas los door deze tegen de wijzers van de klok in te draaien. Bevestig het achterste rooster (5) op de aandrijfas (6) door de 3 gaatjes te laten samenvallen met de 3 opzetstukjes aan de voorkant van de motor. Bevestig het achterste rooster met behulp van de veiligheidsmoer (4) door deze met de wijzers van de klok mee te draaien. Bevestig de propeller van de ventilator (3) op de aandrijfas (6). Draai de propellerdop (2) vast door deze tegen de wijzers van de klok in te draaien. (Belangrijk: Zorg dat de propellerdop (2) goed vast zit op het oppervlak van de aandrijfas (6)). Draai de schroef (14) onderaan het rooster los. Monteer het voorste rooster (1) en het achterste rooster (5) door het haakje (15) omhoog te zetten. Zet vast met behulp van de grendeltjes rond het rooster en draai de bevestigingsschroef onderaan het rooster (14) vast voor uw veiligheid. Zorg dat alles goed vast zit. www.ewt-france.com 3. 4. EN NL Steek de stekker van het toestel in het stopcontact. Zet de ventilator aan door de bedieningsknop voor de snelheid (9) achteraan met de wijzers van de klok mee te draaien. Met deze knop kunt u ook de snelheid instellen door de stand SNEL “3”, MEDIUM “2” of LANGZAAM “1” te selecteren. Zet om de richting van de luchtstroom naar boven of naar beneden te richten de motoreenheid of het achterste rooster rechtop of naar beneden. Zorg dat u uw vingers niet door het rooster steekt. Draai de knop tegen de wijzers van de klok in om de ventilator uit te zetten. SNELHEID Draai aan de bedieningsknop voor de snelheid (9) om de ventilatiesnelheid op SNEL “3”, MEDIUM “2” of LANGZAAM “1” te zetten. Draai de knop tegen de wijzers van de klok in om de ventilatie te stoppen. DRAAIEN Duw om de ventilator te laten draaien de bedieningsknop voor draaien in (8). Trek de bedieningsknop voor het draaien (9) uit om het draaien te stoppen. REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD • • • • • • Trek steeds de stekker van het toestel uit het stopcontact en laat het volledig afkoelen voordat u het reinigt. Gebruik geen schuurspons, schuurdoek of harde borstel om het toestel te reinigen. Reinig de zone in de buurt van de motor uiterst voorzichtig. Gebruik enkel een vochtige doek om de buitenoppervlakken van het toestel te reinigen. Houd de romp van het toestel niet onder water. Vermijd elk contact van de motor of andere elektrische onderdelen met water. Bewaar het toestel steeds in een omgeving met een lage vochtigheidsgraad.
