WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only
and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other
application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial
environment.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
The external flexible cable of the transformer cannot be replaced, if the
cord of this transformer is damaged, it is necessary to dispose the
transformer and replaced by a transformer of the same model.
The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with
the appliance.
The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage
corresponding to the marking on the appliance.
For the details regarding filling, cleaning and descaling for the appliance
please see section “Operation, Cleaning and maintenance & descaling”
on pages 03-05.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not tilt or attempt to move the humidifier while it is operating or filled with
water. UNPLUG the humidifier before moving.
• Do not place the humidifier directly on wood furniture or other surfaces that
could be damaged by water.
• Do not operate the humidifier without water.
• In case that the humidifier is used in a closed or small room, check periodically
for proper ventilation, as excessive humidity could cause condensation on walls
or furniture.
• In case that the moisture is noticed on the inside of windows, please turn the
humidifier OFF.
• Do not use detergent to clean any part of the humidifier.
• Do not refill the humidifier without first unplugging it from the mains socket.
Failure to do this may cause personal injury.
• Do not place anything over mist outlet when the humidifier is operating.
• Do not allow the mist outlet to directly face the wall. Mist could cause damage,
particularly to wallpaper.

OPERATION
The humidifier is designed to continuously produce cold
mist for a maximum of 10 hours.
1. Place the humidifier on a firm, flat surface, about 10 cm
away from the wall.
2. Remove the water tank.
•Always make sure that the appliance is turned off and
unplugged from the mains socket before removing and
filling the water tank.
3. Turn the water tank upside down and unscrew the
water tank cap.
4. Fill the water tank with cold fresh water.
• DO NOT fill with warm water as this may cause leaking.
• WARNING! DO NOT pour water directly into the base
as water may enter the air vent which will cause damage
to the appliance.

5. Screw the tank cap back onto the water tank.
6. Turn the water tank over and place on the base,
making sure it fits in place.
7. Connect the power adapter to the humidifier and then
plug the power adapter into the wall socket.
8. Turn on the humidifier by pressing .
• The appliance will start producing cold mist.
9. To activate the nightlight function, press again.
• The blue light will illuminate.
10. Press a third time to turn off the humidifier.
• The humidifier will stop producing mist and nightlight
function is deactivated.

Auto shut-off
When the humidifier runs out of water, the red indicator
light on the button will illuminate and
the mist output will stop.
Refill the water tank with cold fresh water following the
instructions above. The red indicator light will go out.
DO NOT fill the water tank with water from the mist outlet.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the humidifier from
the mains socket.
To maintenance the performance of the humidifier, it is
important to clean it on a regular basis.
Important:
DO NOT leave water in the water tank or the base when
the appliance is not in use as it may result in the build-up
of mineral deposits and bacteria.
It is recommended to you perform water changes at least
once a week.
Empty the water tank and the humidifier base. Wipe and
dry with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel.
Replace the water tank.
Do not immerse the base in water.
Never use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
Descaling
Fill the base with white vinegar. Let it stand for 15 minutes
and then empty. Wipe off the scale and clean the
transducer in the base with the supplied cleaning brush.

NOTE: Never allow water or any other liquid to enter the
air vent of the base.
Storage
Make sure the humidifier is dried completely before storing.
Store in a cool dry place.

Le câble souple externe de ce transformateur ne peut pas être remplacé;
en cas d'endommagement du cordon, il convient de mettre le
transformateur au rebut et de le remplacer par un transformateur de
même modèle. L’appareil doit être utilisé uniquement avec l’alimentation
fournie avec l’appareil.
L’appareil doit être alimenté uniquement sous la très basse tension de
sécurité correspondant au marquage de l’appareil.

et du détartrage sont définis en pages 18-21 à la section “UTILISATION,
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN & DETARTRAGE”.
Débrancher l'appareil lors du remplissage et nettoyage.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES
• Ne penchez pas et n’essayez pas de déplacer l’humidificateur quand
il est en fonctionnement ou qu’il est rempli d’eau. DÉBRANCHEZ l’
humidificateur avant de le déplacer.
• Ne placez pas l’humidificateur directement sur un meuble en bois ni
sur aucun autre type de surface pouvant être endommagée par de l’eau.
• Ne laissez jamais l’humidificateur fonctionner sans eau.
• Si l’humidificateur est utilisé dans une pièce petite ou fermée, vérifiez
régulièrement qu’elle est suffisamment aérée, car une humidité
excessive peut provoquer de la condensation sur les murs et les
meubles.
• S’il y a de la condensation sur le côté intérieur des fenêtres, éteignez
l’humidificateur.
• Ne nettoyez jamais aucune pièce de l’humidificateur avec du détergent.
• Ne rajoutez jamais d’eau dans l’humidificateur sans l’avoir
préalablement débranché de la prise secteur. Ne pas respecter cette
exigence peut provoquer des blessures corporelles.
• Ne placez aucun objet sur la buse de sortie quand l’humidificateur est
en fonctionnement.
• Veillez à ce que la brume ne soit pas rejetée par l’appareil directement
sur un mur. L’humidité peut en effet le détériorer, notamment s’il est
recouvert de papier peint.

UTILISATION
L’humidificateur est conçu pour produire continuellement
une brume froide pendant 10 heures au maximum.
1. Posez l’humidificateur sur une surface plane et rigide, à
environ 10 cm au minimum des murs.
2. Sortez le réservoir d’eau.
• Vérifiez toujours que l’appareil est éteint et débranché
de la prise secteur avant de le retirer et de remplir son
réservoir d’eau.
3. Retournez le réservoir d’eau
et dévissez son bouchon.

4. Remplissez le réservoir avec de l’eau propre froide.
• NE LE REMPLISSEZ PAS avec de l’eau chaude,
car cela peut provoquer une fuite.
• AVERTISSEMENT ! NE VERSEZ PAS l’eau
directement dans la base, car l’eau risque d’entrer
dans les orifices de ventilation et d’endommager
l’appareil.
5. Revissez le bouchon sur le réservoir.
6. Réinstallez le réservoir sur la base en veillant à
correctement le positionner.

7. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur dans l’humidificateur et
branchez la fiche de l’adaptateur secteur dans une prise
murale.
8. Appuyez sur pour allumer l’humidificateur.
• L’appareil commence à produire de la brume.
9. Pour allumer la veilleuse, appuyez à nouveau sur .
• La lumière bleue s’allume.
10. Appuyez une troisième fois sur pour éteindre
l’humidificateur.
• L’humidificateur arrête de produire de la brume et la
veilleuse s’éteint.
Arrêt automatique
Quand il n’y a plus d’eau dans l’humidificateur, le voyant
rouge du bouton s’allume et la production de brume
s’arrête.
Remplissez le réservoir d’eau avec de l’eau propre froide
en respectant les instructions susmentionnées. Le voyant
rouge s'éteint. NE REMPLISSEZ PAS le réservoir d’eau
en versant l’eau par la buse de sortie de la brume.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Avant de nettoyer l’humidificateur, éteignez-le et
débranchez-le de la prise secteur.
Pour préserver les performances de l’humidificateur,
il est important de le nettoyer régulièrement.
Important :
NE LAISSEZ PAS d’eau dans le réservoir d’eau ou sur la
base de l’appareil quand vous ne l’utilisez pas, car cela
peut provoquer le développement de dépôts minéraux et
de bactéries.
Il est recommandé de changer l’eau au moins une fois
par semaine.
Videz le réservoir d'eau et la base de l’humidificateur.
Essuyez-les et séchez-les avec une serviette en papier
ou un chiffon propre et sec.
Réinsérez le réservoir d’eau.
N’immergez pas la base dans de l’eau.
N’utilisez jamais de nettoyant chimique ou abrasif.
Détartrage
Remplissez la base avec du vinaigre blanc. Laissez
reposer 15 minutes, puis videz-la. Essuyez le tartre pour
l’enlever et nettoyez le transducteur de la base avec la
brosse de nettoyage fournie.

REMARQUE : Veillez à ce que ni de l’eau ni aucun autre
liquide ne pénètrent dans les orifices de ventilation de la
base.
Vérifiez que l’humidificateur est entièrement sec avant de
le ranger.
Rangez-le dans un endroit frais et sec.

WAARSCHUWINGEN
Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik en mag niet
voor andere doeleinden of toepassingen worden gebruikt, zoals
niet-huishoudelijk gebruik of in een commerciële omgeving.
Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar oud en
personen met beperkte fysische, visuele of mentale mogelijkheden,
of die een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis hebben indien ze gepaste
instructies hebben gekregen zodat ze het apparaat op een veilige
manier kunnen gebruiken en op de hoogte zijn van de gevaren die het
gebruik van het apparaat met zich meebrengt. Laat kinderen niet met
het apparaat spelen. Kinderen mogen het apparaat niet zonder toezicht
reinigen of onderhouden.
Het extern, flexibel snoer van de transformator kan niet worden
vervangen. Als het snoer van deze transformator beschadigd is, gooi
de transformator weg en vervang door een transformator van hetzelfde
model.
Gebruik alleen het snoer dat met het apparaat is meegeleverd.
Controleer of de netspanning overeenstemt met de spanning vermeld
op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.
Voor details over het vullen, reinigen en ontkalken van het apparaat,
zie de sectie "Werking, reiniging en onderhoud & ontkalking” op
pagina’s 26-28.
Voordat u het apparaat vult of schoonmaakt, haal de stekker uit het
stopcontact.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
• Hel de bevochtiger niet over of verplaats deze niet wanneer in werking
of gevuld met water. Haal de stekker UIT het stopcontact voordat u de
bevochtiger verplaatst.
• Plaats de bevochtiger niet rechtstreeks op houten meubilair of andere
oppervlakken die door water beschadigd kunnen worden.
• Gebruik de bevochtiger niet zonder water.
• In geval de bevochtiger in een afgesloten of kleine kamer wordt
gebruikt, controleer regelmatig op een juiste ventilatie. Overmatige
vochtigheid kan condensatie op muren of meubilair veroorzaken.
• In geval vocht aan de binnenzijde van de vensters wordt
waargenomen, schakel de bevochtiger UIT.
• Maak geen enkel onderdeel van het apparaat schoon met een
schoonmaakmiddel.
• Haal eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact alvorens de bevochtiger
opnieuw te vullen, anders kan dit persoonlijk letsel veroorzaken.
• Plaats niets over de neveluitlaat wanneer de bevochtiger in werking is.
• Richt de neveluitlaat niet rechtstreeks naar een muur. Nevel kan
schade, in het bijzonder aan behangpapier, veroorzaken.

WERKING
De luchtbevochtiger is ontworpen om gedurende maximum
10 uur een continue koude nevel te produceren.
1. Plaats de bevochtiger op een stevig, vlak oppervlak, op
circa 10 cm van de muur.
2. Verwijder het waterreservoir.
• Zorg dat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld en de stekker
uit het stopcontact is gehaald voordat u het
waterreservoir verwijdert en vult.
3. Draai het waterreservoir ond
ersteboven en schroef de
dop van het reservoir los.

4. Vul het waterreservoir met koud, vers water.
• Vul het reservoir NIET met warm water, dit kan lekkage
veroorzaken.
• WAARSCHUWING! Giet GEEN water rechtstreeks in
het voetstuk, water kan in de luchtopening terechtkomen
en schade aan het apparaat veroorzaken.
5. Schroef de dop opnieuw op het waterreservoir vast.
6. Draai het waterreservoir opnieuw om en plaats het in de
juiste positie terug op het voetstuk.

7. Sluit de netadapter aan op de bevochtiger en steek
vervolgens de stekker in een stopcontact.
8. Druk op om de bevochtiger in te schakelen.
• Het apparaat start met het produceren van een
koude nevel
9. Om de nachtlampfunctie te activeren,
druk nogmaals op .
• Het blauwe lampje brandt.
10. Druk een derde keer op om de bevochtiger uit te
schakelen.
• De bevochtiger stopt met het produceren van nevel en
de nachtlamp dooft.
Automatische uitschakeling
Zodra er zich geen water meer in het waterreservoir
bevindt, brandt het rode controlelampje op de knop
en stopt de neveluitvoer.
Vul het waterreservoir met koud, vers water volgens
bovenstaand vermelde instructies. Het rode controlelampje
dooft. Vul het waterreservoir NIET met water via de
neveluitlaat

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Voordat u de bevochtiger schoonmaakt, schakel deze uit
en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Een regelmatig onderhoud van de bevochtiger is nodig
om een juiste werking te handhaven.
Belangrijk:
Laat GEEN water in het waterreservoir of het voetstuk
achter wanneer het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt, dit kan
leiden tot het vormen van kalkaanslag en bacteriën.
Het is aanbevolen om het water minstens eenmaal per
week te vervangen.
Ledig het waterreservoir en het voetstuk van de
bevochtiger. Veeg schoon en droog met een schone,
zachte doek of papieren doek.
Plaats het waterreservoir terug.
Dompel het voetstuk niet in water.
Gebruik geen schurende of chemische
schoonmaakmiddelen.
Ontkalking
Vul het voetstuk met witte azijn. Laat gedurende 15
minuten in het voetstuk en ledig vervolgens. Veeg de
kalkaanslag weg en reinig de transductor in het voetstuk
met behulp van de meegeleverde reinigingsborstel.

OPMERKING: Zorg dat er geen water of andere vloeistof
in de luchtopening van het voetstuk terechtkomt.
Opslag
Zorg dat de bevochtiger volledig droog is voordat u deze
opbergt. Berg op in een koele, droge ruimte.

Gooi dit apparaat en de verpakking weg in overeenstemming met
de geldende wetgeving en voorschriften.
Aangezien dit apparaat elektronische componenten bevat moet
het apparaat en toebehoren aan het einde van hun levensduur
afzonderlijk van het huisafval worden weggegooid.
Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie over
afdanking en recycling.
Lever het apparaat in bij het inzamelpunt van uw gemeente voor
recycling. Bij sommige inzamelpunten kunt u het apparaat gratis
inleveren.
