Um alle Vorzüge des Fieberthermometers optimal nutzen zu

können, sollten Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung vor Inbetriebnahme

sorgfältig durchlesen, für die weitere Benutzung aufbewahren

und auch anderen Benutzern zugänglich machen.

Das Thermometer ist ausschließlich zur Messung der

menschlichen Körper tempe ratur bestimmt.

•

Das Thermometer ist nur für den in der Gebrauchs an wei sung

angegebenen Messort am menschlichen Körper konzipiert.

•

Kindern darf das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt überlassen wer-

den.

•

Kontrollieren Sie das Thermometer vor jeder erneuten Benut-

zung auf Anzeichen von Beschädigung oder Abnutzung. Be-

schädigte oder abgenutzte Thermometer dürfen nicht mehr

verwendet werden.

•

Die Mindestmessdauer bis zum Signalton ist ausnahmslos

einzuhalten. Besprechen Sie die ermittelten Werte mit Ihrem

Hausarzt.

•

Das Thermometer beinhaltet empfindliche elektronische

Bauteile. Schützen Sie es deshalb vor Stößen, Biegungen,

hohen Temperaturen oder direkter Sonnenbe strah lung.

•

Dieses Thermometer ist mit einer flexiblen Mess-Spitze aus-

gestattet und bringt dadurch mehr Komfort und Sicherheit

bei der Messung, insbesondere bei Kleinkindern, Schlafen-

den oder bewußtseinseingeschränkten Personen. Die Spitze

darf nicht weiter als 90° abgebogen werden!

•

Der Betrieb im Bereich starker elektromagnetischer Felder,

wie z.B. neben einem Mobiltelefon, kann zu Fehlfunktionen

führen.

•

Das Thermometer führt beim Einschalten einen Selbsttest

durch. Eine Überprüfung der Messgenauigkeit ist nicht erfor-

derlich.

•

Bei auffälligen Temperaturergebnissen wenden Sie sich bitte

unverzüglich an Ihren Hausarzt.

•

Das Gerät entspricht der EU-Richtlinie für Medizinprodukte

93/42/EEC, dem Medizinproduktegesetz, der europäischen

Norm EN 12470-3: Medizinische Thermometer – Teil 3: Elek-

taktthermometer mit Maximumvorrichtung sowie der

The thermometer is intended to measure the temperature of

the human body.

Children should not use the thermometer without supervision.

Before each use, check the thermometer for signs of damage

or wear. Damaged or worn thermometers should not be used.

Always wait for the acoustic signal which indicates the min-

imum time required for measurement. Discuss the tempera-

ture with your family physician.

The thermometer contains sensitive electronic parts. There-

fore, protect it from blows, bending, high temperature or di-

rect exposure to sunlight.

Using the thermometer in strong electromagnetic fields such

as next to a mobile phone, can cause a malfunction.

This thermometer has a flexible measuring tip to provide

greater comfort and safety during measurement, particularly

in infants and persons who are asleep or have a reduced level

of consciousness. The tip must not be bent more than 90°!

When the thermometer is switched on, it carries out a self-

Die Verwendung von anderem Zubehör, als jenem, welches

der Hersteller dieses Gerätes festgelegt oder bereitgestellt

hat, kann erhöhte elektromagnetische Störaussendungen

oder eine geminderte elektromagnetische Störfestigkeit des

Messmethoden: Temperaturmessung im After (rektal)

Diese Messmethode ist am zuverlässigsten und am genaues-

ten. Führen Sie hierzu die Thermometerspitze vorsichtig 2–3

cm in den After ein.

Temperaturmessung in der Mundhöhle (oral)

Führen Sie hierzu die Thermometerspitze in eine der beiden

Wärmetaschen unter der Zunge oder neben der Zungenwurzel

ein.

Temperaturmessung in der Achselhöhle (axillar)

Diese Messmethode ist relativ ungenau und kann deshalb aus medizini-

scher Sicht nicht empfohlen werden.

Benutzung

Entfernen Sie zunächst die Schutzfolie auf

dem Display. Zum Einschalten drücken Sie

kurz die EIN/AUS Taste. Ein kurzer Signalton

bestätigt das Einschalten. Zunächst führt das Thermometer für

ca. 2 sec. einen Selbsttest durch. Hierbei sind alle Segmente

der Anzeige sichtbar**. Danach erscheint der Referenzwert von

37 °C (98,6 °F). Anschließend blinkt das Mess-Symbol „°C“

(„°F“) und im Display wird „Lo“ angezeigt. Das Thermo meter

ist messbereit. Während der Messung wird die aktuelle Tempe-

ratur laufend angezeigt und das „°C“ („°F“)-Zeichen blinkt. Die

Messung wird beendet, wenn eine Temperaturstabilität erreicht

ist. Ein akustisches Signal ertönt, das „°C“ („°F“)-Zeichen blinkt

nicht mehr und der gemessene Temperaturwert wird angezeigt.

Solange die gemessene Temperatur niedriger als 32 °C

(89,6 °F) ist, erscheint „Lo°C“ („Lo°F“). Höhere Werte werden

direkt angezeigt, z.B. 32,1 °C (89,8 °F). Durch Ver längerung der

Messdauer über den Signalton hinaus, werden genauere Mes-

sergebnisse erzielt. Bei Messungen in der Achselhöhle sollte die

empfohlene Messdauer trotz Signalton eingehalten werden.

Werden Temperaturen über 37,8 °C (100 °F) gemessen, ertönt

ein Fieberalarm (kurze Pieptöne – 10 Sekunden lang.) Werden

Temperaturen über 42,9 °C (109,2 °F) gemessen, so erscheint

das Symbol für „Hi °C“ („Hi °F“). Zur Verlängerung der Batteri-

elebensdauer schalten Sie bitte nach der Messung das Thermo-

meter durch kurzes Drücken der EIN/AUS-Taste aus. Ansonsten

schaltet sich das Thermometer nach ca. 10 Min. automatisch

ab.

Speicher

Der letzte Messwert wird automatisch gespeichert. Um diesen

Wert anzuzeigen drücken Sie die EIN/ AUS- Taste. Zunächst

führt das Thermometer einen Selbsttest durch. Danach er-

scheint der zuletzt gespeicherte Messwert für ca. 2 Sek. An-

schließend wird der Referenzwert von 37 °C (98,6 °F) und „Lo“

im Display angezeigt. Das Thermometer ist Messbereit und der

alte gespeicherte Messwert wird automatisch durch den neuen

Messwert ersetzt.

Messeinheit ändern

Sie können sich die Temperatur in Grad Celsius (°C) und Grad

Fahrenheit (°F) anzeigen lassen. Zum Einstellen halten Sie die

EIN/AUS-Taste beim Einschalten länger als 2 Sekunden ge-

drückt bis sich die Messeinheit ändert. Der gespeicherte Wert

wird in der neuen Messeinheit angezeigt.

Batterienwechsel

Das Fieberthermometer enthält eine Langzeit Alkali-Mangan-

Batterie (LR41, 1,5 V),für ca. 2 Jahre. Die Batterie muss ge-

wechselt werden, wenn am rechten, unteren Rand erscheint.

Drücken Sie den Batteriefachdeckel am Ende des Gerätes mit

den Fingern zusammen und ziehen Sie ihn kräftig nach hinten

weg. Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie und ersetzen Sie diese

durch eine Batterie gleichen Typs. Das +Zeichen auf der Batte-

rie muss nach oben zeigen. Stecken Sie anschließend den

Batterie fachdeckel auf das Gehäuse auf.

Die verbrauchten, vollkommen entladenen Batterien müssen

Sie über speziell gekennzeichnete Sammelbehälter, Sonder-

müllannahmestellen oder über den Elektrohändler entsorgen.

Sie sind gesetzlich dazu verpflichtet, die Batterien zu entsor-

gen.

Diese Zeichen finden Sie auf schadstoffhaltigen

Batterien: Pb=Batterie enthält Blei, Cd=Batterie

enthält Cadmium, Hg=Batterie enthält Quecksil-

ber. Für diese Batterie gilt: Pb, Hg.

Hinweise zum Umgang mit Batterien

•

Wenn Flüssigkeit aus einer Batteriezelle mit Haut oder Augen

in Kontakt kommt, die betroffene Stelle mit Wasser auswa-

schen und ärztliche Hilfe aufsuchen.

•

Verschluckungsgefahr! Kleinkinder könnten Batterien

verschlucken und daran ersticken. Daher Batterien für Klein-

kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren!

•

Auf Polaritätskennzeichen Plus (+) und Minus (-) ach ten.

•

Wenn eine Batterie ausgelaufen ist, Schutzhandschuhe an-

ziehen und das Batteriefach mit einem trockenen Tuch reini-

gen.

•

Schützen Sie Batterien vor übermäßiger Wärme.

•

Explosionsgefahr! Keine Batterien ins Feuer werfen.

•

Batterien dürfen nicht geladen oder kurzgeschlossen wer-

den.

•

Bei längerer Nichtbenutzung des Geräts die Batterien aus

dem Batteriefach nehmen.

•

Verwenden Sie nur denselben oder einen gleichwertigen

Batterietyp.

•

Immer alle Batterien gleichzeitig auswechseln.

•

Keine Akkus verwenden!

•

Keine Batterien zerlegen, öffnen oder zerkleinern.

Reinigung/Desinfektion

Vor und nach jeder Benutzung muss das Gerät gereinigt bzw.

desinfiziert werden. Das Thermometer ist 100 % wasserdicht

und kann zur Reinigung bzw. Desinfektion problemlos in Was-

ser oder Desinfektionslösung eingetaucht werden. Das Thermo-

meter darf keinesfalls ausgekocht werden! Verwenden Sie

eines der nachfolgenden aufgeführten Desinfektions mittel nach

Herstellerangaben. Andere Reinigungs mittel oder Methoden

können zu Funktionsstörungen oder Beschädigung des Geräts

führen.

Name des Mittels: Isopropylalkohol 70 %, Gigasept FF, Lysofor-

min, Aseptisol.

Aufbewahrung/Entsorgung

Wenn Sie das Thermometer nicht benützen, bewahren Sie es

bitte in der originalen Schutzhülle auf.

Die Genauigkeit dieses Thermometers wurde sorgfältig geprüft

und wurde im Hinblick auf eine lange nutzbare Lebensdauer

entwickelt. Bei Verwendung des Gerätes in der Heilkunde sind

Messtechnische Kontrollen mit geeigneten Mitteln durchzufüh-

ren. Genaue Angaben zur Überprüfung der Genauigkeit können

unter der Service-Adresse angefragt werden.

Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gerät am

Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmüll

entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann über entspre-

chende Sammelstellen in Ihrem Land erfolgen. Entsor-

gen Sie das Gerät gemäß der Elektro- und Elektronik

Altgeräte EG-Richtlinie – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic

Equipment). Bei Rückfragen wenden Sie sich an die für die

Entsorgung zuständige kommunale Behörde.

Temperature measurement in the anus (rectal)

This method of measurement is most reliable and most accu-

rate. Guide the tip of the thermometer carefully 2 to 3 cm into

the anus.

Measurement in the mouth cavity (oral)

For this purpose, guide the tip of the thermometer carefully into

one of the heat pouches beneath the tongue, to the left or the

right of the root of the tongue.

Measurement of temperature in the armpit (axillary)

This method of measurement is relatively inaccurate. There-

fore, it cannot be recommended from a medical point of view.

First remove the protective foil from the dis-

play. For switching on, briefly press the on/off

key. A short acoustic signal will announce

that the thermometer is switched on. The thermometer will carry

out a self-test for about 2 seconds. During the selftest all seg-

ments of the display will appear**. Then the reference reading

(37 °C (98,6 °F)) appears. Then the measurement symbol “°C”

(“°F”) flashes and “Lo” is shown on the display. The thermometer

is now ready for use. During the measurement, the current tem-

perature is displayed continuously, and the “°C” (“°F”) symbol

flashes on and off. The measurement is completed when a stable

temperature has been reached. When this stage has been

reached, an acoustic signal is heard, the “°C” (“°F”) symbol

stops flashing and the temperature measured is displayed. As

long as the measured temperature is below 32 °C (89,6 °F),

“Lo°C” (“Lo°F”) will appear. Higher temperatures will be shown

directly, e.g. 32,1 °C (89,8 °F). By prolonging the length of meas-

urement until after the acoustic signal, more accurate measure-

ments can be obtained. In case the temperature is measured in

the armpit, the thermometer should be left in the armpit for the

recommended time of measurement, in spite of the acoustic

signal. If temperatures over 37,8 °C (100 °F) are measured, a

fever alarm sounds (short bleeping tones, 10 seconds long). If

temperatures higher than 42,9 °C (109,2 °F) are measured, the

symbol for “Hi °C” (“Hi °F”) will appear. To prolong the life of the

battery, please switch off the thermometer by briefly pressing

the on/off key after the measurement. Otherwise the thermom-

eter will automatically switch off after 10 minu tes.

Memory

The last measured value will be stored automatically. Press the

ON/OFF button to display this value. The thermometer first carries

out a self test. Next the last stored measured value is displayed

for approx. 2sec and then the reference value of 37 °C (98,6 °F)

and “Lo” is shown on the display. The thermometer is ready to

take a measurement and the previously stored measurement

value is automatically replaced by the new measurement value.

Changing the measuring unit

The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius (°C) and

degrees Fahrenheit (°F). To set the measuring unit press and

hold the On/Off button for longer than 2 seconds when switch-

ing on until the measuring unit changes.

The saved value is displayed in the new measuring unit.

Changing the battery

The clinical thermometer contains a long-lasting alkali-manga-

nese battery (type LR41, 1.5 V) for approximately 2 years. The

battery has to be replaced when appears in the bottom right

corner of the display. Release the battery compartment cover

by gently pressing on the catch. Remove the old battery and

replace it with a battery of the same type. The + sign on the

battery must point upwards. Then close the battery compart-

ment, making sure that the catch clicks into place.

The empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of

through specially designated collection boxes, recycling points

or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the

batteries.

The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful

substances: Pb = Battery contains lead, Cd = Bat-

tery contains cadmium, Hg = Battery contains

mercury. These batteries contain lead (Pb) and

mercury (Hg).

Notes on handling batteries

•

If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, flush

out the affected areas with water and seek medical assis-

tance.

•

Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and choke

on batteries. Store the batteries out of the reach of small chil-

dren.

•

Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.

•

If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the

battery compartment with a dry cloth.

•

Protect the batteries from excessive heat.

•

Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.

Do not charge or short-circuit batteries.

If the device is not to be used for a long period, take the bat-

Cleaning/Disinfection

The device must be cleaned and disinfected before and after

each use. The thermometer is 100 % water-proof. For the pur-

pose of cleaning or disinfection, it can be dipped into water or

disinfectant without any difficulties. Under no circumstances

should the thermometer be boiled! Use one of the following

disinfectants in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruc-

tions. Other cleaning agents or methods could impair the func-

tion of the thermometer or damage it.

Storage/Disposal

When you are not using the thermometer, please retain it in the

original protective cover.

The accuracy of this thermometer has been carefully checked

regularly tested for accuracy by appropriate means. Precise

instructions for checking accuracy may be requested from the

service address.

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the

device in the household waste at the end of its useful

life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or

recycling point. Dispose of the device in accordance

with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic

Méthodes de mesure :

Mesure de la température dans l’anus (mesure rectale)

Cette méthode est la plus fiable et la plus précise. Introduire

doucement la pointe du thermomètre 2 à 3 cm dans le rectum.

Mesure de la température dans la cavité buccale (me-

sure orale)

Pour ce faire, introduire la pointe du thermomètre dans l’une

des deux poches de chaleur située sous la langue, à gauche ou

à droite de la racine de la langue.

Mesure de la température sous l’aisselle (mesure axil-

laire)

Cette méthode de mesure n’est pas très précise et n’est donc

pas recommandée d’un point de vue médical.

Utilisation

Retirez tout d’abord le film de protection de

l’affichage. Pour la mise en marche du ther-

momètre, appuyer brièvement sur la touche

MARCHE/ARRET. Cette action est confirmée par un court signal

sonore. Le thermomètre effectue d’abord un auto-test pendant

env. 2 sec. Tous les segments de l’affichage sont alors visibles**.

Ensuite la valeur de référence de 37 °C (98,6 °F) s’affiche. Le

symbole de mesure «°C» («°F») clignote ensuite et «Lo»

s’affiche à l’écran. Le thermomètre est prêt à fonctionner. Au

cours de la mesure, la température instantanée est indiquée de

manière continue, et le sym bole «°C» («°F») clignote. La mesure

prend fin lorsqu’une température stable est atteinte. Un signal

sonore se déclenche alors, le symbol «°C» («°F») cesse de

clignoter, et la valeur de la température mesurée s’affiche à

l’écran. Tant que la température mesurée est inférieure à 32 °C

(89,6 °F), «Lo°C» («Lo°F») reste affiché. Les températures plus

élevées sont directement affichées, par exemple 32,1 °C

de la pile, il convient d’éteindre le thermomètre après la mesure

en appuyant sur la touche MARCHE/ARRET. Si le thermomètre

n’a pas été mis hors service, il s’éteint automatiquement après

env. 10 minutes.

Mémoire

La dernière valeur mesurée est automatiquement mise en mé-

moire. Pour afficher cette valeur, appuyez sur la touche

MARCHE/ARRÊT. Le thermomètre effectue d’abord un auto-test.

La valeur mesurée enregistrée en dernier apparaît ensuite pen-

dant environ 2secondes. Puis, la valeur de référence «37 °C»

(«98,6 °F») et «Lo» s’affichent à l’écran. Le thermomètre est

prêt à prendre une mesure et l’ancienne valeur mesurée enre-

gistrée est remplacée automatiquement par une nouvelle.

Modifier l’unité de mesure

Vous pouvez afficher la température en degrés Celsius (°C) ou

en degrés Fahrenheit (°F). Pour régler l’unité, maintenez la

touche MARCHE/ARRÊT enfoncée au démarrage pendant plus

de 2 secondes jusqu’à ce que l’unité de mesure soit modifiée.

La valeur mémorisée sera affichée dans la nouvelle unité.

Remplacement des piles

Le thermomètre médical contient une pile longue durée alcali

manganèse (LR41, 1,5 V) utilisable 2 ans environ. La pile doit

être changée quand s’affiche sur le bord inférieur droit. Des

doigts, comprimez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à

l’extrémité du thermomètre et tirez-le fortement vers l’arrière.

Retirez la pile usée et remplacez-la par une pile du même type.

Le pôle + de la pile doit être dirigé vers le haut. Ensuite adaptez

le couvercle du compartiment à piles sur le thermomètre.

Les piles usagées et complètement déchargées doivent être

mises au rebut dans des conteneurs spéciaux ou aux points de

collecte réservés à cet usage ou bien déposées chez un reven-

deur d’appareils électriques. L’élimination des piles est une

obligation légale qui vous incombe.

Ces pictogrammes se trouvent sur les piles à substances no-

cives : Pb = pile contenant du plomb, Cd=pile

contenant du cadmium, Hg = pile contenant du

mercure. Piles: Pb, Hg. Pour ces piles: Pb, Hg.

Remarques relatives aux piles

•

Si du liquide de la cellule de pile entre en contact avec la

peau ou les yeux, rincez la zone touchée avec de l’eau et

consultez un médecin.

•

Risque d’ingestion ! Les enfants en bas âge pourraient

avaler des piles et s’étouffer. Veuillez donc conserver les piles

hors de portée des enfants en bas âge !

•

Respectez les signes de polarité plus (+) et moins (-).

•

Si la pile a coulé, enfilez des gants de protection et nettoyez

le compartiment à piles avec un chiffon sec.

Protégez les piles d’une chaleur excessive.

Entretien/Désinfection

tante sans problème aucun. Le thermomètre ne doit en aucun

cas être placé dans l’eau bouillante ! Utiliser l’un des désinfec-

tants énumérés ci-dessous, conformément aux indications du

fabricant. D’autres produits ou méthodes de nettoyage peuvent

occasionner des dysfonctionnements ou endommager l’appa-

reil.

Utilizzo

Rimuovere in primo luogo il film protettivo

termina quanto si raggiunge una temperatura stabile. Entra un

funzione un segnale acustico, il simbolo “°C” (“°F”) cessa di

lampeggiare e viene visualizzata la temperatura misurata.

Fino a quando la temperatura misurata rimane al di sotto di 32 °C

(89,6 °F), appare il simbolo “Lo°C” (“Lo°F”). Valori superiori

vengono indicati direttamente con un segnale acustico, ad es.

Указания по электромагнитной совместимости

ленных в настоящей инструкции по применению, в том

Методы измерения:

измерение температуры в заднем проходе (ректально)

Этот метод измерения является самым надежным и точ-

ным. Для этого следует ввести наконечник термометра в

задний проход на 2–3см.

Измерение температуры в полости рта (орально)

Введите для этого наконечник термометра в одну из двух

полостей под языком или рядом с корнем языка.

Измерение температуры подмышкой (подмышечно)

Этот метод измерения является сравнительно неточным и

поэтому с м

Использование

Вначале удалите защитную пленку с дис-

плея. Для включения коротко нажмите

клавишу ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ. Короткий звуковой сигнал подтвердит

включение. Термометр сначала в течение 2 секунд проводит

самотестирование.

При этом видны все сегменты индика-

ции**.

Затем появляется базовое значение 37 °C (98,6 °F).

При этом видны все сегменты индикации. Затем замигает

символ измерения «°C» («°F») инадисплее появится надпись

«Lo». Это означает, что термометр готов к работе. Во время

измерения происходит непрерывная индикация текущей

температуры, и мигает символ «°C» («°F»). Измерение закан-

чивается, когда изменение показания температуры прекра-

щается. При этом выдается звуковой сигнал, прекращается

мигание символа «°C» («°F»), и видно значение темп ературы.

Если измеренная температура ниже 32 °C (89,6 °F), то появ-

ляется символ «Lo°C» («Lo °F»). Если температура выше

32 °C (89,6 °F), то она видна на дисплее, например, 32,1 °C

(89,8 °F). Если продолжать измерение после звукового

сигнала, то точность измерения повышается. При измерении

подмышкой следует соблюдать рекомендуемую продолжи-

тельность процесса, несмотря на звуковой сигнал. Если из-

меряется температура свыше 37,8 °C (100 °F), звучит

акустическая сигнализация (короткие сигналы – в течение

10 секунд). Если температура превышает 42,9 °C (109,2 °F),

то появляется символ «Hi °C» («Hi °F»). Чтобы увеличить срок

службы батарейки, выключайте термометр после измерения

коротким нажатием клавиши ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ. Если не сделать

это, термометр выключится автоматически через 10 минут.

Сохранение в памяти

Последнее измеренное значение автоматически запоми-

нается. Для просмотра данного значения нажмите кнопку

ВКЛ./ВЫКЛ. Сначала термометр выполнит самопроверку.

После этого втечение примерно 2секунд будет показано

значение последнего измерения. Затем надисплее ото-

бразится значение нормы 37 °C (98,6 °F) инадпись «Lo».

Термометр готов кработе. Сохраненное ранее значение

измерения автоматически заменяется новым значением.

Изменение единицы измерения

Вы можете определять температуру в градусах Цельсия

(°C) или градусах Фаренгейта (°F). Для настройки удержи-

вайте кнопку ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ нажатой более 2 секунд, пока

единица измерения не изменится. Сохраненное в памяти

значение указывается в новой единице измерения.

Замена батарейки

Термометр содержит щелочно-марганцевую батарейку

(LR41, 1,5 В), рассчитанную приблизительно на 2 года ра-

боты. Батарейку необходимо заменить, если в правом ниж-

нем углу появляется . Сдавите пальцами крышку отсека

для батареек на конце прибора и сильно сдвиньте ее назад

Вытащите старую батарейку и замените ее новой такого же

типа. Символ «+» на батарейке должен быть обращен

вверх. Затем установите крышку на корпус.

Выбрасывайте использованные, полностью разряженные

батарейки в специальные контейнеры, сдавайте в пункты

приема спецотходов или в магазины электрооборудования.

Закон обязывает пользователей обеспечить утилизацию

батареек.

Эти знаки предупреждают о наличии в батарей-

ках токсичных веществ: Pb = свинец, Cd=кад-

мий, Hg = ртуть. Касается данных батареек: Pb,

Hg.

Обращение с элементами питания

•

При попадании жидкости из аккумулятора на кожу или в

глаза необходимо промыть соответствующий участок

большим количеством воды и обратиться к врачу.

•

Опасность проглатывания мелких частей! Малень-

кие дети могут проглотить батарейки и подавиться ими.

Поэтому батарейки необходимо хранить в недоступном

для детей месте!

•

Обращайте внимание на обозначение полярности: плюс

(+) и минус (-).

•

Если батарейка потекла, очистите отделение для бата-

реек сухой салфеткой, надев защитные перчатки.

•

Защищайте батарейки от чрезмерного воздействия

тепла.

•

Опасность взрыва! Не бросайте батарейки в огонь.

•

Не заряжайте и не замыкайте батарейки накоротко.

•

Если прибор длительное время не используется, извле-

ките из него батарейки.

•

Используйте батарейки только одного типа или равно-

ценных типов.

•

Заменяйте все батарейки сразу.

•

Не используйте перезаряжаемые аккумуляторы!

•

Не разбирайте, не открывайте и не разбивайте бата-

рейки.

Чистка/дезинфекция

Перед каждым использованием и после него устройство

необходимо очищать и дезинфицировать. Термометр явля-

ется полностью (на 100%) водонепроницаемым и поэтому

может быть без всяких осложнений опущен для чистки и,

соответственно, дезинфекции в воду или дезраствор. Кате-

горически запрещается кипятить термометр! Для дезинфек-

ции используйте одно из приведенных далее

дезинфицирующих средств в соответствии с данными изго-

товителя. Другие чистящие средства или методы могут

привести к нарушению работы или повреждению прибора.

Хранение/Утилизация

Когда термометр не используется, храните его в первона-

чальном защитном футляре.

Точность данного термометра была тщательно проверена,

Memoria

L’ultimo valore misurato viene memorizzato automaticamente

e visualizzato subito dopo l’accensione e l’auto-test. Premere

il pulsante ON/OFF per visualizzare tale valore. Il termometro

procede innanzi tutto a un autotest. Poi l’ultimo valore di

misurazione memorizzato compare per circa 2 sec. Infine il

display visualizza il valore di riferimento di 37 °C (98,6 °F) e

“Lo”. Il termometro è pronto per la misurazione e il vecchio

valore di misurazione memorizzato viene sostituito automati-

camente con il nuovo valore di misurazione.

Cambio dell’unità di misura

La temperatura può essere indicata in gradi centigradi (°C) e

in gradi Fahrenheit (°F). Per l’impostazione, tener premuto il

pulsante durante l’accensione più a lungo di 2 secondi finché

l’unità di misura non cambia.

Il valore memorizzato viene indicato nella nuova unità di mi-

sura.

Sostituzione delle batterie

Il termometro clinico contiene una batteria alcalina al manga-

nese di lunga durata (LR41, 1,5 V), con un’autonomia di circa

2 anni. La batteria deve essere sostituita quando appare la

lettera nel margine inferiore destro. Comprimere con le dita il

coperchio del vano batteria all’estremità dell’apparecchio e ti-

rarlo con forza all’indietro. Estrarre la batteria esausta e sosti-

tuirla con una batteria dello stesso tipo. Il segno + sulla batteria

deve essere rivolto verso l’alto. Riapplicare quindi il coperchio

sul vano batteria.

Smaltire le batterie esauste e completamente scariche negli

appositi punti di raccolta, nei punti di raccolta per rifiuti tos-

sici o presso i negozi di elettronica. Lo smaltimento delle

batterie è un obbligo di legge.

I simboli riportati di seguito indicano che le bat-

terie contengono sostanze tossiche. Pb=batte-

ria contenente piombo, Cd = batteria contenente

cadmio, Hg= batteria contenente mercurio.

Queste batterie contengono Pb, Hg.

Avvertenze sull’uso delle batterie

•

Se il liquido della batteria viene a contatto con la pelle e

con gli occhi, sciacquare le parti interessate con acqua e

consultare il medico.

•

Pericolo d’ingestione! I bambini possono ingerire le

batterie e soffocare. Tenere quindi le batterie lontano dalla

portata dei bambini!

•

Prestare attenzione alla polarità positiva (+) e negativa (-).

•

In caso di fuoriuscita di liquido dalla batteria, indossare

guanti protettivi e pulire il vano batterie con un panno

asciutto.

•

Proteggere le batterie dal caldo eccessivo.

Rischio di esplosione! Non gettare le batterie nel

Le batterie non devono essere ricaricate o mandate in cor-

Pulizia/Disinfezione

Il termometro è completamente impermeabile e può essere

immerso senza problemi nell’acqua o in soluzioni disinfet-

tante. Non bollire il termometro in nessun caso! Utilizzare uno

dei disinfettanti elencati di seguito, seguendo le istruzioni del

produttore. Altri detergenti o metodi possono causare anoma-

lie di funzionamento o danni allo strumento.

Conservazione/Smaltimento

Metody pomiaru: Pomiar temperatury wodbycie

Ta metoda jest najbardziej wiarygodna i dokładna. Należy

ostrożnie wprowadzić końcówkę termometru do odbytu na

głębokość 2–3 cm.

Pomiar temperatury wjamie ustnej

Należy wprowadzić końcówkę termometru wjedną zdwóch

przestrzeni pod językiem lub obok nasady języka.

Pomiar temperatury pod pachą

Ta metoda pomiaru jest stosunkowo niedokładna idlatego nie

jest zalecana zmedycznego punktu widzenia.

Użytkowanie

Należy najpierw zdjąć folię ochronną

z wyświetlacza. W celu włączenia

urządzenia należy nacisnąć przycisk

włączania/wyłączania. Krótki sygnał dźwiękowy potwierdza

włączenie. Termometr najpierw przeprowadza autotest przez

około 2 sekund. Wszystkie segmenty wyświetlacza są wido-

czne**. Pojawia się wartość referencyjna wynosząca

37°C(98,6°F). Następnie miga symbol pomiaru „°C” („°F”) ina

wyświetlaczu pojawia się „Lo”. Termometr jest gotowy do po-

miaru. Podczas pomiaru wyświetlana jest wsposób ciągły ak-

tualna temperatura imiga symbol „°C” („°F”). Pomiar zostaje

zakończony po osiągnięciu stabilnej temperatury. Rozlega się

sygnał dźwiękowy, symbol „°C” („°F”) przestaje migać

iwyświetlana jest zmierzona temperatura. Jeśli zmierzona

temperatura jest niższa niż 32°C(89,6°F), wyświetlany jest

symbol „Lo °C” („Lo °F”). Wyższe wartości, takie jak np.

32,1°C(89,8°F), są wyświetlane bezpośrednio. Przedłużenie

czasu pomiaru po pojawieniu się sygnału dźwiękowego powo-

duje zwiększenie dokładności pomiaru. Podczas wykonywania

pomiaru pod pachą należy wykonywać pomiar przez zalecany

czas pomimo rozbrzmiewającego sygnału dźwiękowego. Jeśli

zmierzona temperatura jest wyższa niż 37,8°C(100°F), rozbrz-

miewa alarm podwyższonej temperatury (krótkie sygnały

dźwiękowe, trwające 10 sekund). Wprzypadku zmierzenia

temperatury przekraczającej 42,9°C(109,2°F) pojawi się sym-

bol „Hi °C” (Hi°F), który oznacza nadmierną temperaturę.

Wcelu przedłużenia żywotności baterii należy po dokonaniu

pomiaru wyłączyć termometr, wciskając przycisk włączania/

wyłączania. Wprzeciwnym razie termometr wyłączy się auto-

matycznie po upływie ok. 10 minut.

Pamięć

Ostatnia wartość pomiarowa jest zapisywana automatycznie.

Aby wyświetlić tę wartość, należy nacisnąć przycisk włączania/

wyłączania. Termometr najpierw przeprowadza autotest.

Następnie przez ok. 2 swyświetlany jest wynik ostatnio wyko-

nanego pomiaru. Później na wyświetlaczu pojawia się wartość

referencyjna 37°C(98,6°F) oraz symbol „Lo”. Termometr jest

gotowy do pomiaru, apoprzedni wynik pomiaru zostaje auto-

matycznie zastąpiony nowym.

Zmiana jednostki pomiaru

Temperatura może być wyświetlana wstopniach Celsjusza (°C)

oraz Fahrenheita (°F). Aby zmienić ustawienia, należy wcisnąć

przycisk włączania/wyłączania podczas włączania

iprzytrzymać go przez ponad 2 sekundy aż zmieni się jed-

nostka. Zapisana wartość zostanie wtedy wyświetlona po

przeliczeniu na nową jednostkę.

Wymiana baterii

Termometr lekarski jest wyposażony w baterię alkaliczno-

manganową (LR 41, 1,5 V), która wystarcza na ok. 2 lat

użytkowania. Baterię należy wymienić, gdy wprawym dolnym

roku wyświetla się symbol . Należy ścisnąć dwoma palcami

pokrywę komory baterii, która znajduje się na końcu urządzenia

i mocno ściągnąć tę pokrywę w tył. Wyjąć starą baterię

iwymienić ją na nową baterię tego samego typu. Symbol + na

baterii musi być ustawiony do góry. Następnie należy nacisnąć

pokrywę komory baterii na obudowę.

Zużyte, całkowicie rozładowane baterie należy wyrzucić do

specjalnie oznakowanych pojemników zbiorczych albo

przekazać do punktów zbiórki odpadów specjalnych lub sklepu

ze sprzętem elektrycznym. Użytkownik jest zobowiązany do

utylizacji baterii zgodnie zprzepisami.

Na bateriach zawierających szkodliwe związki

znajdują się następujące oznaczenia: Pb = bateria

zawiera ołów, Cd = bateria zawiera kadm,

Hg=bateria zawiera rtęć. Wprzypadku tej baterii:

Wskazówki dotyczące postępowania zbateriami

•

Jeśli dojdzie do kontaktu elektrolitu ze skórą lub oczami,

należy przemyć podrażnione miejsca wodą iskontaktować

się zlekarzem.

Niebezpieczeństwo połknięcia! Małe dzieci mogą

połknąć baterie i udusić się nimi. Dlatego należy

przechowywać baterie w miejscach niedostępnych dla

małych dzieci!

Zwracać uwagę na znaki polaryzacji plus (+) iminus (-).

Jeśli zbaterii wycieknie elektrolit, należy założyć rękawice

Zagrożenie wybuchem! Nie wrzucać baterii do ognia.

Nie wolno ładować ani zwierać baterii.

należy wyjąć baterie zkomory baterii.

Należy używać tylko baterii tego samego lub równoważnego

typu.

Czyszczenie/dezynfekcja

Przed ipo każdym użyciu należy wyczyścić lub zdezynfekować

urządzenie. Termometr jest w100% wodoszczelny imoże być

zanurzanywodzie lub roztworze środka do dezynfekcji wcelu

czyszczenia lub dezynfekcji. Wżadnym przypadku nie wolno

umieszczać termometru we wrzącej cieczy! Należy używać

jednego zniżej podanych środków do dezynfekcji zgodnie zza-

leceniami producenta. Inne metody lub środki czyszczące mogą

prowadzić do zakłóceń wdziałaniu lub awarii urządzenia.

Przechowywanie/utylizacja

Jeśli termometr nie jest używany, należy go przechowywać

woryginalnym etui.

Dokładność termometru została starannie sprawdzona. Po-

nadto został on zaprojektowany do długotrwałego użytkowania.

Wprzypadku korzystania zurządzenia wpraktyce lekarskiej

należy przeprowadzać kontrole pomiarowe za pomocą odpo-

wiednich środków. Szczegółowe dane dotyczące sprawdzania

dokładności można uzyskać, kontaktując się zserwisem.

W związku z wymogami w zakresie ochrony

środowiska nie należy wyrzucać urządzenia po

zakończeniu eksploatacji wraz z odpadami do-

mowymi. Należy je oddać do utylizacji wodpowiednim

punkcie gromadzenia odpadów. Urządzenie należy

zutylizować zgodnie zdyrektywą WE ozużytych urządzeniach

Belangrijke veiligheidsrichtlijnen – bewaar deze voor

later gebruik.

Om optimaal gebruik te kunnen maken van de functies van de

koortsthermometer, moet u voor het gebruik de gebruikshand-

leiding aandachtig doorlezen, deze voor later gebruik bewaren

en deze ook voor andere gebruikers toegankelijk maken.

De thermometer is uitsluitend bestemd voor het meten van

de lichaamstemperatuur van mensen.

De thermometer is alleen bestemd voor gebruik op de in de

gebruiksaanwijzing aangegeven plek van het menselijk li-

chaam.

Laat kinderen het apparaat niet zonder toezicht gebruiken.

Controleer de thermometer voor elk gebruik op tekenen van

beschadiging of slijtage. Als de thermometer beschadigd of

versleten is, mag deze niet meer worden gebruikt.

De minimale meetduur tot aan het geluidssignaal moet zon-

der uitzonderingen worden aangehouden. Bespreek de ge-

meten waarden met uw huisarts.

De thermometer bevat gevoelige elektronische componen-

ten. Bescherm de thermometer daarom tegen schokken,

buigen, hoge temperaturen en blootstelling aan direct zon-

licht.

•

Deze thermometer is voorzien van een flexibele meetpunt en

biedt daardoor meer comfort en veiligheid bij het meten,

voornamelijk bij kleine kinderen, slapende personen of per-

sonen met een beperkt bewustzijn. De punt mag niet verder

dan 90° worden gebogen!

•

Gebruik in de buurt van sterke elektromagnetische velden,

zoals naast een mobiele telefoon, kan leiden tot storingen.

•

De thermometer voert bij het inschakelen een zelftest uit. De

meetnauwkeurigheid hoeft niet te worden gecontroleerd.

•

Neem bij opvallende temperatuurresultaten onmiddellijk

contact op met uw huisarts.

•

Het apparaat voldoet aan de EU-richtlijn 93/42/EEC voor me-

dische hulpmiddelen, de Duitse wet inzake medische hulp-

middelen, de Europese norm EN 12470-3: Medische

thermometers – Deel 3: Prestatie van compacte elektrische

IEC 61000-4-3, IEC 61000-4-8) en is onderworpen aan bij-

zondere veiligheidsmaatregelen op het gebied van elektro-

magnetische compatibiliteit. Let er daarbij op dat draagbare

en mobiele HF-communicatieapparatuur dit apparaat nega-

tief kan beïnvloeden. U kunt uitgebreide informatie aanvra-

aan het eind van de gebruiksaanwijzing nalezen.

Aanwijzingen met betrekking tot elektromagnetische

compatibiliteit

•

Het apparaat is geschikt voor gebruik in alle omgevingen die

in deze gebruiksaanwijzing worden vermeld, waaronder de

thuisomgeving.

•

Het apparaat kan bij de aanwezigheid van elektromagneti-

sche storingen onder omstandigheden mogelijk slechts be-

perkt worden gebruikt. Als gevolg daarvan kunnen bijv.

foutmeldingen ontstaan of kan het display/apparaat uitval-

len.

•

Het gebruik van dit apparaat direct naast andere apparaten

of opgestapeld met andere apparaten moet worden verme-

den, omdat dit een onjuiste werking tot gevolg kan hebben.

Als gebruik op de hiervoor beschreven wijze noodzakelijk is,

moeten dit apparaat en de andere apparaten in de gaten

worden gehouden om er zeker van te zijn dat ze correct wer-

ken.

Het gebruik van andere toebehoren dan de toebehoren die de

keurige methode. Breng hiervoor de punt van de thermometer

voorzichtig 2–3 cm in de anus aan.

Temperatuurmeting in de mondholte (oraal)

Breng hiervoor de punt van de thermometer in een van de twee

warmtezakjes onder de tong of naast de tongwortel aan.

Temperatuurmeting in de okselholte (axillair)

Deze meetmethode is relatief onnauwkeurig en kan daarom

vanuit medisch oogpunt niet worden aangeraden.

Gebruik

Verwijder eerst de beschermfolie van het

display. Druk kort op de AAN/UIT-toets om

het apparaat in te schakelen. Er klinkt een

kort geluidssignaal om te bevestigen dat het apparaat wordt

ingeschakeld. Allereerst wordt er door de thermometer ca. 2

sec. een zelftest uitgevoerd. Hierbij worden alle segmenten van

het display weergegeven**. Daarna verschijnt de referentie-

waarde van 37 °C (98,6°F). Vervolgens knippert het meetsym-

bool “°C” (“°F”) en op het display wordt “Lo” weergegeven. De

thermometer is klaar voor gebruik. Tijdens de meting wordt de

actuele temperatuur continu weergegeven en knippert het “°C”

(“°F”)-teken. De meting wordt beëindigd zodra er een stabiele

temperatuur is bereikt. Er klinkt een akoestisch signaal, het

“°C” (“°F”)-teken knippert niet meer en de gemeten tempera-

tuurwaarde wordt weergegeven. Zolang de gemeten tempera-

tuur lager is dan 32 °C (89,6°F) wordt “Lo °C” (“Lo°F”)

weergegeven. Hogere waarden worden meteen weergegeven,

bijv. 32,1 °C (89,8°F). Door de meetduur tot na het geluidssig-

naal te verlengen, worden de meetresultaten nog nauwkeuriger.

Bij metingen in de okselholte moet de aanbevolen meetduur

ondanks het geluidssignaal worden aangehouden. Als er tem-

peraturen van meer dan 37,8 °C (100°F) worden gemeten,

klinkt er een koortsalarm (korte pieptonen – 10 seconden lang).

Als er temperaturen van meer dan 42,9 °C (109,2°F) worden

gemeten, wordt “Hi °C” (“Hi°F”) weergegeven. Druk kort op de

AAN/UIT-toets om de thermometer na het gebruik uit te scha-

kelen en zo de levensduur van de batterij te verlengen. Wanneer

de thermometer niet wordt gebruikt, wordt deze na ca. 10min.

automatisch uitgeschakeld.

Geheugen

De laatste meetwaarde wordt automatisch opgeslagen. Druk op

de AAN/UIT-toets om deze waarde weer te geven. Eerst voert de

thermometer een zelftest uit. Daarna wordt de laatst opgesla-

gen meetwaarde ongeveer 2sec. weergegeven. Vervolgens

worden de referentiewaarde van 37 °C (98,6°F) en “Lo” op het

display weergegeven. De thermometer is klaar voor gebruik en

de oude opgeslagen meetwaarde wordt automatisch door de

nieuwe meetwaarde vervangen.

Meeteenheid wijzigen

U kunt de temperatuur laten weergeven in graden Celsius (°C)

of graden Fahrenheit (°F). Om de meeteenheid in te stellen,

houdt u de AAN/UIT-toets tijdens het inschakelen langer dan

2seconden ingedrukt totdat de meeteenheid verandert. De

opgeslagen waarde wordt in de nieuwe meeteenheid weerge-

geven.

Batterij vervangen

De koortsthermometer bevat een duurzame alkalinebatterij

(LR41, 1,5V), die ca. 2 jaar meegaat. Wanneer rechtsonder in

de rand verschijnt, moet de batterij worden vervangen. Druk het

deksel van het batterijvak aan het uiteinde van het apparaat

met de vingers samen en trek het krachtig naar achteren toe

van het apparaat af. Haal de oude batterij uit het batterijvak en

vervang deze door een batterij van hetzelfde type. Het “+”-

teken op de batterij moet naar boven wijzen. Plaats het deksel

van het batterijvak vervolgens weer op de behuizing.

Deponeer de gebruikte, volledig lege batterijen in de daarvoor

specifiek bestemde afvalbakken of bied ze bij het afvalverwer-

kingsstation of de elektronicazaak aan als chemisch afval. U

bent wettelijk verplicht de batterijen correct te verwijderen.

Deze tekens kunt u aantreffen op batterijen met

schadelijke stoffen: Pb = batterij bevat lood,

Cd=batterij bevat cadmium, Hg=batterij bevat

kwik. Voor deze batterij geldt: Pb, Hg.

Aanwijzingen met betrekking tot het gebruik van

batterijen

•

Als vloeistof uit een batterijcel in aanraking komt met de huid

of de ogen, moet u de betreffende plek met water spoelen en

een arts raadplegen.

•

Gevaar voor inslikken! Kleine kinderen kunnen batte-

rijen inslikken, met verstikking als gevolg. Bewaar batterijen

daarom buiten bereik van kleine kinderen!

•

Neem de aanduiding van de polariteit (plus (+) en min (−)) in

acht.

•

Als er een batterij is gaan lekken, moet u veiligheidshand-

schoenen aantrekken en het batterijvak met een droge doek

reinigen.

•

Bescherm batterijen tegen overmatige hitte.

•

Explosiegevaar! Werp batterijen niet in vuur.

•

Batterijen mogen niet worden opgeladen en niet worden

kortgesloten.

•

Haal de batterijen uit het batterijvak als u het apparaat lan-

gere tijd niet gebruikt.

•

Gebruik alleen hetzelfde of een gelijkwaardig type batterij.

•

Vervang altijd alle batterijen tegelijk.

•

Gebruik geen accu’s!

•

Haal batterijen niet uit elkaar, open ze niet en hak ze niet in

stukken.

Reiniging/desinfectie

Reinig en desinfecteer het apparaat voor en na elk gebruik. De

thermometer is 100% waterdicht en kan voor het reinigen c.q.

desinfecteren zonder problemen in water of in een desinfecte-

rend middel worden ondergedompeld. De thermometer mag

niet worden uitgekookt! Gebruik een van de hierna genoemde

desinfecterende middelen volgens de aanwijzingen van de fa-

brikant. Andere reinigingsmiddelen of -methoden kunnen leiden

tot storingen of beschadiging van het apparaat.

Naam van het middel: isopropylalcohol 70%, gigasept FF, Lyso-

formin, Aseptisol.

Opbergen/verwijderen

Berg de thermometer op in de originele beschermhuls, wanneer

u de thermometer niet gebruikt.

De nauwkeurigheid van deze thermometer is zorgvuldig gecon-

troleerd en het apparaat is ontwikkeld met het oog op een lange

levensduur. Wanneer het apparaat in de geneeskunde wordt

gebruikt, moeten meettechnische controles met daarvoor ge-

schikte middelen worden uitgevoerd. Uitgebreide informatie

over het controleren van de nauwkeurigheid kan worden aan-

gevraagd via het servicepunt.

Met het oog op het milieu mag het apparaat aan het

einde van zijn levensduur niet met het gewone huisvuil

worden weggegooid. U kunt het apparaat inleveren bij

gespecialiseerde inzamelpunten in uw land. Verwijder

het apparaat conform de EU-richtlijn voor afgedankte

elektrische en elektronische apparatuur – WEEE (Waste Electri-

cal and Electronic Equipment). Voor meer informatie kunt u

contact opnemen met de verantwoordelijke instanties voor af-

valverwijdering in uw gemeente.
