Be sure to observe the polarity markings which are engraved inside the battery compartment, then close the cover. Note : Do not mix different type of battery or old batteries with new ones. Insert the AC adaptor’s cable plug tip into the DC IN 6V Jack at the back of the unit, then insert the moulded plug (with blades) into the wall outlet. Note : Always Power off the unit before switching to AC adaptor supply. In the event of AC power cut/off, user needs to readjust the Time and Alarm. Display Backlight Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to turn on the LCD backlight for 7 seconds. Press other buttons may also turn on the backlight plus activating their associated function. Short press UP or DOWN displays the ` ` icon & Alarm Time for 2 seconds. 14 13 6 12 Activate / Deactivate Alarm 1. Press POWER till the Power LED turns off. 2. To activate the Alarm, press & hold UP for about 2 seconds till the `AL` icon turns on. The ` ` icon & Alarm Time appears for 2 seconds. 3. To deactivate the Alarm set, press & hold DOWN for about 2 seconds till the `AL` icon turns off. 11 7 10 8 9 Alarm Sounded - Wake by USB (mp3) / Buzzer LCD Display AC Adaptor IN Jack & AUX IN Jack 23 MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT SUN 20 18 Note : The Alarm Function will only work if the unit is in Power-Off (i.e. POWER LED turns off ; USB or AUX IN is not playing). 1. When the alarm time is reached, the ` ` icon flashes. 2. If USB Drive is docked, the first mp3 track “0001” is played automatically at factory-set volume level. 3. If USB Drive is not docked or battery power is too low to play the USB drive, then buzzer will sound instead. Snooze / Reset Alarm 19 AL 21 Aansluiting van de AC Druk op POWER totdat de STROOM LED uitgaat. The Snooze function is repeatable in the next 120 minutes. 2. Press POWER or AL SET to cancel Snooze and reset the Alarm. The ` ` icon disappears. The alarm will sound again tomorrow at the same time. 3. The USB/Buzzer alarm will be reset automatically if no key is pressed in the next 120 minutes. 22 Instelling van de Kloktijd 1. Als tijdens welke fase dan ook geen toets gedurende 7 seconden (time-out periode) wordt ingedrukt, wordt de laatst geselecteerde waarde automatisch opgeslagen. Instelling van de Alarmtijd 1. Druk op POWER totdat de STROOM LED uitgaat. 2. Druk en houd de ALARMINSTELLING-toets in voor ongeveer 2 seconden tot het Alarm Aan ` `- icoon aangaat. De UUR-cijfers zullen oplichten. Het kort indrukken van OMHOOG of OMLAAG zal het ` `-icoon & Alarmtijd voor 2 seconden weergeven. Activeren / Annuleren van het Alarm 1. Druk op POWER totdat de STROOM LED uitgaat. 2. Om het Alarm te activeren, druk en houd OMHOOG in voor ongeveer 2 seconden tot het `AL`icoon aangaat. Het ` `-icoon & Alarmtijd worden voor 2 seconden weergegeven. 3. Om het ingestelde Alarm te annuleren, druk en houd OMLAAG in voor ongeveer 2 seconden tot het `AL`-icoon uitgaat. Alarm Gaat Af – Wordt wakker door USB (mp3) / Zoemer Opmerking : De Alarmfunctie werkt alleen wanneer het Apparaat uitstaat (m.a.w. de STROOM LED staat uit; USB of AUX IN worden niet afgespeeld). 1. Wanneer de alarmtijd is bereikt, licht het ` `-icoon op. 2. Als de USB-Drive is aangesloten, wordt het eerste mp3 nummer “0001” automatisch afgespeeld op het door de fabriek ingesteld volumeniveau. 3. Make sure that your USB Drive/iPod shuffle contains music in mp3 format. 2. User MUST use the AC adaptor when playing iPod shuffle, otherwise the battery power will be drained away by the iPod. Always power off before inserting/removing the USB to/from the USB Port. 3. Insert the USB Drive and press POWER till the POWER LED turns on. 4. The LCD displays “rEAd”, then the first track “0001” is played automatically. On some MP3 Player you may need to press V II to start playing. 5. Use the Buttons on this unit to control the playback. Short press Ic c or v v I to jump to the previous/next track. Long press Ic c or v v I to fast scroll backward/forward to other tracks. Press V II to play/pause. 6. Press + / – to turn the volume up/down, “L: 0 to L:15” is displayed. 1. Druk op SNOOZE/LIGHT om de USB/Zoemer voor ongeveer 9 minuten tijdelijk uit te zetten. Het alarm zal morgen op dezelfde tijd weer afgaan. 3. Als gedurende de volgende 120 minuten geen toets wordt ingedrukt, wordt het USB/ZOEMERalarm automatisch opnieuw ingesteld. Listening to AUX IN 1. Press POWER till the POWER LED turns on. Plug one end of the Line Cord into the AUX IN Socket of this unit and the other into the Headphone Jack of the iPod, Mp3 Player, Discman or other music source. 2. Use the controls located on the external device to navigate, select, play the content and adjust the volume level. Note : When the AUX IN Jack is engaged, the output audio signal from the USB Drive is muted. Afspelen van mp3 Muziek via Uw USB-Drive / iPod wisselaar 1. Zorg ervoor dat Uw USB-Drive/iPod wisselaar muziek bevat in mp3 formaat. 2. De gebruiker MOET de AC adapter gebruiken wanneer de iPod wisselaar wordt afgespeeld, anders worden de batterijen door de iPod volledig uitgeput. Zet het apparaat altijd uit alvorens het aansluiten/verwijderen van de USB op/van de USB-Poort. 3. Plaats de USB-drive en druk op POWER tot de STROOM LED aangaat. 4. Het LCD-scherm vertoont "rEAd" en het eerste nummer “0001” wordt automatisch afgespeeld. Bij sommige MP3-spelers moet U misschien eerst op V II drukken om het afspelen te starten. 5. Gebruik de Toetsen op dit apparaat om het afspelen te bedienen. Druk kort op Ic c of v v I om naar het voorafgaande/volgende nummer te springen. Druk lang op Ic c of v v I om versneld achterwaarts/voorwaarts te bladeren naar andere nummers. Druk op V II om af te spelen of te pauzeren. 6. Druk op + / - om het volume hoger/lager te zetten, "L: 0 tot L:15" wordt vertoond. Trouble Shooting Beluisteren van AUX IN When powered by Battery alone and the batteries are running LOW, it may not be able to read the USB Drive. Replace by new batteries. If this device hangs and is not responding to any button comand, remove all batteries, unplug the USB Drive, iPod, AUX IN device, AC Power Adaptor. Wait for 1 minute until all residual power is drained. Then reinstall new batteries, reconnect AC Power Adaptor and press POWER to power up again. 1. Druk op POWER tot de STROOM LED aangaat. Als dit apparaat hangt en niet reageert op enige toetsenbediening, verwijder dan alle batterijen, koppel de USB-Drive, iPod, AC Stroomadapter en het AUX IN apparaat af. Wacht voor 1 minuut lang totdat alle overige stroom is uitgeput. Herplaats dan nieuwe batterijen, sluit de AC Stroomadapter opnieuw aan en druk op POWER om het apparaat weer aan te zetten.
