Safety information
For your safety and correct operation of
the appliance, read this manual carefully
before installation and use. Always keep these
instructions with the appliance even if you
move or sell it. Users must fully know the oper-
ation and safety features of the appliance.
Correct use
• Do not leave the appliance unattended dur-
ing operation.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for
domestic use.
• The appliance must not be used as a work
surface or as a storage surface.
• Do not place or store flammable liquids,
highly inflammable materials or fusible ob-
jects (e.g. plastic film, plastic, aluminium) in
or near the appliance.
• Watch out when connecting electric appli-
ances to sockets nearby. Do not allow con-
necting leads to come into contact with or to
catch underneath the appliance or hot cook-
ware.
• Do not do repairs yourself to prevent injury
and damage to the appliance. Always con-
tact your local After Sales Service (refer to
the Service chapter).
Child safety
• Only adults can use this appliance. Children
must get supervision to make sure that they
do not play with the appliance.
• Keep all packaging away from children.
There is a risk of suffocation.
• Keep children away from the appliance
when it is on.
General safety
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Ensure there is a continuous air supply while
using the hob, keep air vents in good con-
dition or install a cooker hood with a venting
hose. Improve ventilation by opening a win-
dow or increasing the extractor speed.
• This appliance is supplied with safety device
in form of the thermocouple. If after ignition
of the burner or during use flame will go out
and the thermocouple will not be heat up
enough gas supply will be interrupted.
Installation
• Make sure that the appliance is not dam-
aged because of transport. Do not connect
a damaged appliance. If necessary, contact
the After Sales Service (refer to the Service
chapter).
• Only an authorized service engineer can in-
stall, connect or repair this appliance. Use
only original spare parts.
• Built-in appliances can only be used after
they are built into suitable built-in units and
work surfaces that meet standards.
• Do not change the specifications or modify
this product. Risk of injury and damage to
the appliance.
Warning! Carefully obey the instructions
for electrical and gas connections.

• Do not install the appliance if it is damaged
during the transportation.
Safety during use
• Remove all packaging, stickers and film from
the appliance before the first use.
Warning! Fire hazard! Overheated fats
and oils can ignite very quickly.
• Switch the burners off after each use.
• Risk of burns! Burners and accessible parts
become hot during use. Make sure pots do
not protrude over the edges of the cooktop.
How to avoid damage to the appliance
• To avoid damaging the hob, do not allow
saucepans or frying pans to boil dry.
• Do not use the burners with empty cookware
or without cookware.
• Never line any part of the appliance with
aluminium foil. Never place plastic or any
other material which may melt on the appli-
ance.

Ignition of the burner
Always ignite the burner before position-
ing pots or pans.
To ignite the burner:
1. Push the control knob completely in and
turn it counter-clockwise to the maximum
position marked
.
2. Keep the knob pushed for about 5 sec; this
will allow thermocouple to heat up, and the
safety device to switch off, otherwise the
gas supply would be interrupted.
3. After the flame is regular, adjust it as pre-
ferred.
If after a few attempts the burner does not
ignite, check that the crown and its cap
are in correct positions.

Warning! Do not keep control knob
pressed for more than 15 seconds.
If the burner does not light after 15 seconds,
release the control knob, turn it into off position
and wait for at least 1 minute before trying to
light the burner again.
Important! In the absence of electricity You
can ignite the burner without electrical device;
in this case approach the burner with a flame,
push the relevant knob down and turn it
counter-clockwise to maximum gas release
position.
Warning! Maintain extreme caution
while operating with open fire in kitchen
environment. Manufacturer declines any
responsibility in case of misuse of flame.
If the burner accidentally goes out, turn
the control knob to the off position and
wait for at least 1 minute before trying to light
it again.
When switching on the mains, after in-
stallation or a power cut, it is quite normal
for the spark generator to be activated auto-
matically.
Turning the burner off
To put the flame out, turn the knob to the sym-
bol
.
Warning! Always turn the flame down or
switch it off before removing the pans of
the burner.
Helpful hints and tips
Energy savings
• If possible, always place lids on the pans.
• As soon as liquid starts boiling, turn down
the flame to barley keep the liquid simmer-
ing.

The bottom of the cookware should be as thick
and flat as possible.
Care and cleaning
Warning! Switch the appliance off and
let it cool down before you clean it.
Warning! For safety reasons, do not
clean the appliance with steam blasters
or high-pressure cleaners.
Warning! Do not use abrasive cleaners,
steel wool pads or acids, they will
damage the appliance.
To remove any food remains wash the enam-
elled elements, "cap" and "crown", with warm
soapy water.

Stainless steel elements wash with water, and
then dry with a soft cloth.
This model is equipped with electrical ignition,
it is obtained through ceramic "candle" and
electrode.
Keep them well clean to avoid difficult light-
ning.
Periodically ask your local Service Centre
to check the conditions of the gas supply
pipe and the pressure adjuster, if it is fitted (this
service is not free of charge).
After cleaning, be sure to wipe dry with a soft
cloth.

the problem yourself. If you cannot find a sol-
ution to the problem yourself, contact your
dealer or the After Sales Service.
If you operated the appliance wrongly, or
the installation was not carried out by a
registered engineer, the visit from the customer
service technician or dealer may not take
place free of charge, even during the warranty
period.

Installation
Manufacturer is not responsible for any injury
to persons and pets or damage to property
caused by failure to comply following require-
ments.
Caution! To proceed with the installation
refer to the assembly instructions.
Warning! Installation process must follow
the laws, ordinances, directives and
standards (electrical safety rules and
regulations, proper recycling in accordance
with the regulations, etc.) in force in the country
of use!
Ensure that the local distribution condi-
tions (nature of the gas and gas pressure)
and the adjustment of the appliance are com-
patible before proceeding with the installa-
tion.
The parameters of adjustment setting for
this appliance are stated on the rating
plate (refer to the Technical data chapter).
Warning! The appliance must be
earthed!

Warning! Risk of injury from electrical
current.
• The electrical mains terminal is live.
• Make electrical mains terminal free of volt-
age.
• Loose and inappropriate plug and socket
connections can make the terminal over-
heat.
• Have the clamping connections correctly in-
stalled.
• Use strain relief clamp on cable.
Important! You must observe the minimum
distances to other appliances and furniture
cabinets or other units according to Assembly
Instruction.
If there is no oven beneath the hob insert a di-
viding panel at a minimum distance of 20 mm
from the bottom of the hob.
Protect the cut surfaces of the worktop against
moisture using a suitable sealant included in
the product in fitting bag. The sealant seals the
appliance to the work top with no gap. Do not
use silicon sealant between the appliance and
the worktop. Avoid installing the appliance
next to doors and under windows as hot cook-
ware may be knocked off the pan support
when doors and windows are opened.
Only an authorized service engineer can in-
stall, connect or repair this appliance. Use only
original spare parts.
Gas Connection
Warning! This appliance is not
connected to a combustion products
evacuation device.
Installation must comply with current local reg-
ulation.
The connection of the cooktop to the gas pipe
network or gas cylinder must be made by
means of a rigid copper or steel pipe with fit-
tings complying with local regulations, or by
means of a continuous surface stainless steel
hose complying with local regulations.
If you see any abnormalities do not repair
the pipe, contact local After Sales Service
(refer to the Service chapter).
The connection must be installed correctly,
fixed into hob connection pipe. Otherwise it
will cause leakage of gas
Warning! Once the installation is
complete, check the perfect seal of every
pipe fixing. Use soapy water, never flame.
Electrical connection
Before connecting, check that the nominal volt-
age of the appliance stated on the rating
plate, corresponds to the available supply
voltage. Also, check the power rating of the
appliance and ensure that the wire is suitably
sized to suit the appliance power rating (refer
to the Technical data chapter).
The rating plate is located on the lower casing
of the hob.
The appliance is supplied with a connection
cable. This has to be provided with a proper
plug, able to support the load marked on the
identification plate (refer to the Technical data
chapter).
The plug has to be fitted in a proper socket. If
connecting the appliance directly to the elec-
tric system, it is necessary that you install a
double pole switch between the appliance
and the electricity supply, with a minimum gap
of 3 mm between the switch contacts. The dou-
ble pole has to be of a type suitable for the
required load in compliance with the current
rules.
The connection cable has to be placed in order
that, in each part, it cannot reach a 90 °C tem-
perature. The blue neutral cable must be con-
nected to the terminal block marked with "N".
The brown (or black) phase cable (fitted in the
terminal block contact marked with "L") must
always be connected to the live phase.
Replacement of the connection cable.
If the connection cable must be replaced, only
a type H05V2V2-F T90 cable must be used.
The cable section must be suitable to the volt-
age and the working temperature. The yel-
low/green earth wire must be approximately
2 cm. longer than the brown (or black) phase
wire.

To open the terminal block and reach
the terminals, proceed as follows:
1. insert the point of a screwdriver into one of
the two visible protruding part of the ter-
minal block
2. exert a light pressure and lift
The hob is supplied with a three pole terminal
block designed for a 230 V connection. The
yellow/green earth wire must always be con-
nected to the terminal marked with the symbol
.
Upon completion, secure the connection cable
with the cable clamp and close the terminal
block.
Gas setting conversion
This model is designed for use with natu-
ral gas but can be converted for use with
butane or propane gas providing the correct
injectors. The injectors not supplied with the
appliance have to be ordered from After Sales
Service (refer to the Service chapter).
For data concerning injector replacement, see
chapter "Technical data"
Warning! Conversion or replacement
can only be performed by a registered
installer.
To replace injectors:
1. Remove pan support.
2. Remove burner cap and crown.
3. With a socket spanner 7 unscrew and re-
move the injectors, replace them with the
ones required for the type of gas in use.
4. Reassemble the parts, following the same
procedure backwards.
Important! Replace the rating label (placed
near gas supply pipe) with relevant one for the
new type of gas supply before sealing the
appliance. If the appliance is already sealed
please stick it directly on the user manual
booklet after Technical data chapter close to
the rating plate drawing.

If the feeding gas pressure will be differ-
ent or variable, comparing with the re-
quired, you must install an appropriate pres-
sure adjuster, which is not supplied with the
product and if needed must be ordered sep-
arately from the local After Sales Service (refer
to the Service chapter). The pressure adjuster
must be fitted on gas supply pipe, in compli-
ance with the rules of the force.
The rating plate is located on the lower casing
of the hob.
Adjusting flame level
When hob has been fully installed, it is neces-
sary to check the minimum flame setting:
1. Turn the gas tap to the maximum position
and ignite.

2. Set the gas tap to the minimum flame po-
sition then turn the control knob from mini-
mum to maximum several times. If the flame
is unstable or extinguished, follow the pro-
cedure further.
3. Re-ignite the burner and set to minimum.
4. Remove the control knob.
5. To adjust, use a thin bladed screwdriver
and turn the adjustment screw until the
flame is steady and does not extinguish,
when the knob is turned from minimum to
maximum, and vice versa (see following
picture).
6. Repeat this procedure for all burners.
7. Reassemble the knobs.
Warning! If the appliance is connected
to liquid gas (G31 propane or G30
butane), the regulation screw must be fastened
as tightly as possible.

should be taken to the appropriate collection
point for the recycling of electrical and

IKEA GUARANTEE
How long is the IKEA guarantee valid?
This guarantee is valid for five (5) years from
the original date of purchase of Your appli-
ance at IKEA, unless the appliance is named
LAGAN in which case two (2) years of guar-
antee apply. The original sales receipt is re-
quired as proof of purchase. If service work is
carried out under guarantee, this will not ex-
tend the guarantee period for the appliance,

Who will execute the service?
IKEA service provider will provide the service
through its own service operations or author-
ized service partner network.

What does this guarantee cover?
The guarantee covers faults of the appliance,
which have been caused by faulty construction
or material faults from the date of purchase
from IKEA. This guarantee applies to domestic
use only. The exceptions are specified under
the headline “What is not covered under this
guarantee?” Within the guarantee period, the
costs to remedy the fault e.g. repairs, parts, la-
bour and travel will be covered, provided that
the appliance is accessible for repair without
special expenditure. On these conditions the
EU guidelines (Nr. 99/44/EG) and the respec-
tive local regulations are applicable. Replaced
parts become the property of IKEA.
What will IKEA do to correct the problem?
IKEA appointed service provider will examine
the product and decide, at its sole discretion,
if it is covered under this guarantee. If consid-
ered covered, IKEA service provider or its au-
thorized service partner through its own serv-
ice operations, will then, at its sole discretion,
either repair the defective product or replace
it with the same or a comparable product.
What is not covered under this guarantee?
• Normal wear and tear.
• Deliberate or negligent damage, damage
caused by failure to observe operating in-
structions, incorrect installation or by con-
nection to the wrong voltage, damage
caused by chemical or electro-chemical re-
action, rust, corrosion or water damage in-
cluding but not limited to damage caused by
excessive lime in the water supply, damage
caused by abnormal environmental condi-
tions.
• Consumable parts including batteries and
lamps.
• Non-functional and decorative parts which
do not affect normal use of the appliance,
including any scratches and possible color
differences.
• Accidental damage caused by foreign ob-
jects or substances and cleaning or unblock-
ing of filters, drainage systems or soap
drawers.
• Damage to the following parts: ceramic
glass, accessories, crockery and cutlery bas-
kets, feed and drainage pipes, seals, lamps
and lamp covers, screens, knobs, casings
and parts of casings. Unless such damages
can be proved to have been caused by pro-
duction faults.
• Cases where no fault could be found during
a technician’s visit.
• Repairs not carried out by our appointed
service providers and/or an authorized
service contractual partner or where non-
original parts have been used.
• Repairs caused by installation which is faulty
or not according to specification.
• The use of the appliance in a non-domestic
environment i.e. professional use.
• Transportation damages. If a customer
transports the product to their home or other
address, IKEA is not liable for any damage
that may occur during transport. However,
if IKEA delivers the product to the customer's
delivery address, then damage to the prod-
uct that occurs during this delivery will be
covered by this guarantee.
• Cost for carrying out the initial installation of
the IKEA appliance. However, if an IKEA
service provider or its authorized service
partner repairs or replaces the appliance
under the terms of this guarantee, the serv-
ice provider or its authorized service partner
will re-install the repaired appliance or in-
stall the replacement, if necessary.
This restriction do not apply to fault-free work
carried out by a qualified specialist using our
original parts in order to adapt the appliance
to the technical safety specifications of another
EU country.
How country law applies
The IKEA guarantee gives You specific legal
rights, which covers or exceed local demands.
However these conditions do not limit in any
way consumer rights described in the local
legislation

Area of validity
For appliances which are purchased in one EU
country and taken to another EU country, the
services will be provided in the framework of
the guarantee conditions normal in the new
country. An obligation to carry out services in
the framework of the guarantee exists only if
the appliance complies and is installed in ac-
cordance with:
• the technical specifications of the country in
which the guarantee claim is made;
• the Assembly Instructions and User Manual
Safety Information;
The dedicated After Sales Service for IKEA
appliances:
Please do not hesitate to contact IKEA After
Sales Service to:
1. make a service request under this guaran-
tee;
2. ask for clarification on installation of the
IKEA appliance in the dedicated IKEA
kitchen furniture. The service won’t provide
clarifications related to:
– the overall IKEA kitchen installation;
– connections to electricity (if machine
comes without plug and cable), to water
and to gas since they have to be execu-
ted by an authorized service engineer.

Lees voor uw eigen veiligheid en correcte

Installatie

Oververhitte vetten en oliën kunnen snel
in brand vliegen.
• Schakel de branders na elk gebruik uit.
• Gevaar voor brandwonden! Branders en
toegankelijke onderdelen worden tijdens
het gebruik heet. Zorg ervoor dat pannen
niet uitsteken buiten de randen van de
kookplaat.
Voorkoming van beschadiging van het
apparaat
• Om te voorkomen dat de kookplaat be-
schadigd raakt, steelpannen of braadpan-
nen niet droog laten koken.
• Gebruik de branders niet met lege pannen
of zonder pannen.
• Leg nooit aluminiumfolie over welk deel van
het apparaat ook. Leg nooit kunststof ma-
terialen op het apparaat, deze kunnen
smelten.

Dagelijks gebruik
Ontsteking van de brander
Ontsteek de brander altijd voordat u er
potten of pannen op plaatst.
Om de brander te ontsteken:
1. Druk de regelknop volledig in en draai de
knop linksom in de stand maximaal, die
gemarkeerd is met
.
2. Houd de knop ongeveer 5 seconden inge-
drukt; daardoor wordt het thermokoppel
opgewarmd en de veiligheidsinrichting uit-
geschakeld, anders wordt de gastoevoer
onderbroken.
3. Als de vlam regelmatig brandt, stel hem
dan overeenkomstig uw wensen af.
Als de brander na een aantal pogingen
nog steeds niet wil ontsteken, controleer
dan of de vlamverdeler en de deksel correct
zijn aangebracht.

Waarschuwing! Houd de

Als de brander na 15 seconden nog niet
brandt, de bedieningsknop loslaten en min-
stens 1 minuut wachten voordat u opnieuw
probeert de vlam te ontsteken.
Belangrijk! Als er geen elektriciteit is kunt u
de brander zonder de elektrische voorziening
aansteken; breng een vlam dichtbij de
brander, druk de bijbehorende knop in en
draai hem tegen de klok in op de maximale
stand.
Waarschuwing! Wees uiterst voorzichtig
bij het gebruik van open vuur in een
keuken. De fabrikant kan niet aansprakelijk
gesteld worden in geval van onjuist gebruik
van de vlam.
Als de brander onbedoeld uit gaat, draai
de bedieningsknop dan in de uitstand en
wacht minstens 1 minuut voordat u hem op-
nieuw probeert aan te steken.
Bij het weer inschakelen van de netspan-
ning, na installatie of stroomuitval is het
normaal dat de vonkontsteking automatisch
geactiveerd wordt.

Nuttige aanwijzingen en tips
Energiebesparing
• Sluit pannen, indien mogelijk, altijd af met
een deksel.
• Zodra vloeistof begint te koken, de vlam
laag zetten en de vloeistof laten pruttelen.
Gebruik potten en pannen met een bodem die
overeenkomt met de afmeting van de gebruik-

Onderhoud en reiniging

leiding en de drukregelaar (indien aan-
wezig) regelmatig te controleren (deze service
is niet gratis).

Als er een storing optreedt, probeer dan eerst

Montage
De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor let-
sel aan personen of huisdieren of schade aan
eigendom veroorzaakt door het niet opvolgen
van de volgende vereisten.
Let op! Raadpleeg de montage-

voorschriften, richtlijnen en normen die
van kracht zijn in het land waar het apparaat
wordt gebruikt dienen in acht genomen te

Verzeker u ervan dat de plaatselijke dis-
tributieomstandigheden (aard van het
gas en gasdruk) en de afstelling van het ap-
paraat in overeenstemming zijn voordat u het
apparaat installeert.
De instellingsparameters voor dit appa-
raat zijn vermeld op het typeplaatje (zie
hoofdstuk Technische gegevens).
Waarschuwing! Dit apparaat moet
geaard worden!
Waarschuwing! Risico op verwonding
door elektrische stroom.
• De netaansluiting staat onder stroom.
• Schakel de stroomtoevoer naar de netaan-
sluiting uit.
• Loszittende en onvakkundig aangebrachte
stekkerverbindingen kunnen oververhitting
van de aansluiting veroorzaken.
• Klemaansluitingen vakkundig uitvoeren.
• Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet wordt belast
door trekken.
Belangrijk! U moet de minimale afstanden ten
opzichte van andere apparaten en
keukenkastjes of andere eenheden in acht
nemen in overeenstemming met de Montage-
instructies.
Als er geen oven onder het kooktoestel is,
plaats dan een scheidingspaneel op een mi-
nimale afstand van 20 mm van de onderkant
van het kooktoestel.
Bescherm de uitgesneden oppervlakken van
het werkblad tegen vocht met een geschikt af-
dichtmiddel, zoals het product in het meege-
leverde plastic zakje. De afdichting dicht de
opening tussen het apparaat en het werkblad
af. Gebruik geen siliconen afdichtmiddel tus-
sen het apparaat en het werkblad. Installeer
het apparaat niet naast deuren en onder ra-
men; warm kookgerei kan van de pannen-
steunen worden gestoten als deuren en ramen
worden geopend.
Dit apparaat mag alleen geïnstalleerd, aan-
gesloten en gerepareerd worden door een er-
kende servicemonteur. Gebruik alleen origi-
nele reserveonderdelen.
Gasaansluiting
Waarschuwing! Dit apparaat mag niet
aangesloten worden op een
afvoerinrichting voor verbrandingsproducten.
De installatie moet voldoen aan de geldende
plaatselijke voorschriften.
De aansluiting van de kookplaat op de gas-
leiding of gasfles moet uitgevoerd worden met
een onbuigzame koperen of stalen pijpleiding
met fittingen die voldoen aan de plaatselijke
voorschriften, of met een roestvrij stalen slang
zonder onderbrekingen die voldoet aan de
plaatselijke voorschriften.

Als u afwijkingen aan de leiding consta-
teert, deze niet repareren maar contact
opnemen met uw plaatselijke Klantenservice
(zie hoofdstuk Service).
De aansluiting moet correct geïnstalleerd wor-
den, vastgezet aan de aansluitpijp van de
kookplaat. Anders kan er gas gaan lekken
Waarschuwing! Controleer, na
voltooiing van de installatie, of alle
leidingfittingen perfect afgedicht zijn. Gebruik
hiervoor zeepsop en nooit een vlam.
Elektrische aansluiting
Controleer vóór de aansluiting of het nominale
voltage op het typeplaatje van het apparaat
overeenkomt met de aanwezige netspanning.
Controleer ook het vermogen van het appa-
raat en zorg ervoor dat de bedrading de juiste
lengte heeft voor het vermogen (zie hoofdstuk
Technische gegevens).
Het typeplaatje bevindt zich aan de onder-
kant van de kookplaat.
Het apparaat is voorzien van een aansluit-
snoer. Dit moet voorzien zijn van een geschikte
stekker, die geschikt is voor de belasting die
vermeld is op het identificatieplaatje (zie
hoofdstuk Technische gegevens).
De stekker moet in een geschikt stopcontact
worden gestoken. Als het apparaat recht-
streeks aangesloten wordt op het elektriciteits-
net, moet u een tweepolige schakelaar mon-
teren tussen het apparaat en de elektrische
voeding, met een opening tussen de contact-
punten van de schakelaar van minstens 3 mm.
De tweepolige schakelaar moet geschikt zijn
voor de vereiste belasting en voldoen aan de
geldende voorschriften.
Het aansluitsnoer moet zodanig geplaatst
worden dat het nergens een temperatuur kan
bereiken van 90 °C. De blauwe neutraaldraad
moet aangesloten worden op de eindklem ge-
markeerd met "N". De bruine (of zwarte) fa-
sedraad (gemonteerd in het contact van de
eindklem gemarkeerd met "L") moet altijd
worden aangesloten op de fase van het voe-
dingsnet.
Vervanging van het aansluitsnoer.
Als het aansluitsnoer vervangen moet worden,
uitsluitend een kabel van het type H05V2V2-
F T90 gebruiken. De doorsnede van het snoer
moet geschikt zijn voor het voltage en de be-
drijfstemperatuur. De geel/groene aarde-
draad moet ongeveer 2 cm. langer zijn dan de
bruine (of zwarte) fasedraad.
Om het klemmenbord los te maken en
de klemmen te kunnen bereiken, gaat u
als volgt te werk:
1. steek de punt van een schroevendraaier in
een van de twee zichtbare uitstekende de-
len van het klemmenbord
2. oefen een lichte druk uit en til het op
De kookplaat is uitgerust met een driepolig
klemmenbord, ontworpen voor een aanslui-
ting van 230 V. De geel/groene aardedraad
moet altijd aangesloten worden op de klem
met het symbool
.

Maak ten slotte het aansluitsnoer vast met de
kabelklem en sluit het klemmenbord.
Omzetting gasinstelling
Dit model is ontworpen voor gebruik met
aardgas maar kan omgebouwd worden
voor gebruik met een butagas of propaangas,
door de juiste sproeiers te monteren. Deze
sproeiers worden niet bij het apparaat gele-
verd, maar moeten besteld worden bij de
Klantenservice (zie hoofdstuk Service).
Zie, voor gegevens met betrekking tot de ver-
vanging van de sproeiers, hoofdstuk "Techni-
sche gegevens"
Waarschuwing! Ombouw of vervanging
mag alleen verricht worden door een
erkend installateur.
Sproeiers vervangen:
1. Verwijder de pannensteun.
2. Verwijder de branderdeksel en de kroon.
3. Draai met behulp van een sleutel 7 de
sproeiers los en verwijder ze, vervang ze
door de sproeiers die vereist zijn voor het
soort gas dat u gebruikt.
4. Zet de onderdelen in omgekeerde volgor-
de weer terug.
Belangrijk! Vervang het typeplaatje (dat
vlakbij de gastoevoerleiding zit) door het
plaatje voor de nieuwe gassoort voordat u het
apparaat afdicht. Als het apparaat al
afgedicht is, plak het plaatje dan op de
gebruiksaanwijzing, na het hoofdstuk
Technische gegevens, in de buurt van de
tekening van het typeplaatje.
Het plaatje kunt u vinden in het zakje dat
bij het apparaat geleverd is
Als de druk van het toevoergas anders of
variabel is, in vergelijking met hetgeen
vereist is, moet u een geschikte drukregelaar
installeren, die niet bij het product is geleverd
en die apart besteld moet worden bij de Klan-
tenservice (zie hoofdstuk Service). De drukre-
gelaar moet op de gastoevoerleiding gemon-
teerd worden, in overeenstemming met de
geldende voorschriften.
Het typeplaatje bevindt zich aan de onder-
kant van het apparaat
Vlamhoogte instellen
Nadat de kookplaat volledig geïnstalleerd is,
moet u de minimuminstelling van de vlam con-
troleren:
1. Draai de gaskraan op de maximale stand
en ontsteek de vlam.
2. Zet de gaskraan op de stand voor mini-
mumvlam en draai de bedieningsknop een
paar keer van minimum op maximum. Als
de vlam onstabiel is of uit gaat, gaat u als
volgt te werk.
3. Steek de brander weer aan en zet hem op
de minimumstand.
4. Verwijder de bedieningsknop.
5. Gebruik een kleine platte schroevendraai-
er en draai de stelschroef tot de vlam sta-
biel is en niet dooft als de knop van mini-
mum naar maximum wordt gedraaid, en
omgekeerd (zie volgende afbeelding).
6. Herhaal deze procedure voor alle bran-
ders.
7. Monteer de knoppen weer.

Waarschuwing! Als het apparaat
aangesloten is op vloeibaar gas (G31
propaan of G30 butaan), moet de stelschroef
zo vast mogelijk gedraaid worden.

Het symbool op het product of op de
verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als
huishoudafval mag worden behandeld, maar
moet worden afgegeven bij een verzamelpunt
waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur
wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt dat dit
product op de juiste manier wordt verwijderd,
voorkomt u mogelijke negatieve gevolgen
voor mens en milieu die zich zouden kunnen
voordoen in geval van verkeerde
afvalverwerking. Voor gedetailleerdere
informatie over het recyclen van dit product,
kunt u contact opnemen met de gemeente, de
gemeentereiniging of de winkel waar u het
product hebt gekocht.
Verpakkingsmaterialen
De materialen die voorzien zijn van het sym-
bool
kunnen gerecycled worden. Gooi de
verpakking in een geschikte verzamelcontai-
ner om het te recyclen.
Voor het afdanken van het apparaat
Waarschuwing! Voer de volgende
stappen uit voor het afdanken van het
apparaat:
• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Snijd het netsnoer door en gooi deze weg.
IKEA GARANTIE
Hoe lang is de garantie van IKEA geldig?
Deze garantie is vijf (5) jaar geldig vanaf de
oorspronkelijke datum van aankoop van uw
apparaat bij IKEA, tenzij het apparaat van het
merk LAGAN is, dan geldt een garantieperio-
de van twee (2) jaar. De originele kassabon is
nodig als aankoopbewijs. Als er tijdens de ga-
rantieperiode werkzaamheden worden uitge-
voerd, wordt de garantie- periode van het
apparaat niet verlengd, dat geldt ook voor de
nieuwe onderdelen.
Welke apparatuur valt niet onder de vijf (5)
jaar garantie van IKEA?
De apparaten van het merk LAGAN en alle
apparaten die gekocht zijn vóór 1 augustus
2007.
Wie zal de service uitvoeren?
De IKEA servicedienst zal de service uitvoeren
via het eigen bedrijf of het erkende service-
partnernetwerk.
Wat valt er onder de garantie?
De garantie dekt storingen van het apparaat,
die veroorzaakt zijn door verkeerde construc-
tie of materiaalfouten vanaf de aankoopda-
tum bij IKEA. Deze garantie is uitsluitend van
toepassing bij huishoudelijk gebruik. De uit-
zonderingen worden onder de hoofding “Wat
valt er niet onder deze garantie?” gespecifi-
ceerd. Binnen de garantieperiode worden er
geen kosten om de storing te verhelpen aan-
gerekend, d.w.z. reparaties, onderdelen, ar-
beidsloon en transport, op voorwaarde dat
het apparaat toegankelijk is voor reparatie
zonder speciale kosten en dat het defect be-
trekking heeft op verkeerde constructie of ma-
teriaalfouten die onder de garantie vallen. Op
deze voorwaarden zijn de EG-richtlijnen (Nr.
99/44/EG) en de respectievelijke plaatselijke
voorschriften van toepassing. Vervangen on-
derdelen worden het eigendom van IKEA.

Wat zal IKEA doen om het probleem op te
lossen?
De door IKEA aangestelde servicedienst zal
het product onderzoeken en bepalen, dit uit-
sluitend ter eigen beoordeling, of het gedekt
wordt door deze garantie. Als het gedekt blijkt
te zijn, zal de IKEA servicedienst of de erkende
servicepartner dan via het eigen bedrijf, uit-
sluitend ter eigen beoordeling, ofwel het de-
fecte product repareren of het vervangen door
hetzelfde of een vergelijkbaar product.
Wat valt er niet onder deze garantie?
• Normale slijtage.
• Opzettelijk aangebrachte schade of schade
door verwaarlozing, schade veroorzaakt
door het niet opvolgen van de bedienings-
handleiding, onjuiste installatie of aanslui-
ting op een verkeerd voltage, schade ver-
oorzaakt door chemische of elektro-chemi-
sche reactie, roest, corrosie of waterschade,
maar niet beperkt tot schade veroorzaakt
door overmatig kalkgehalte van de water-
toevoer, schade veroor zaakt door abnor-
male omgevingsomstandigheden.
• Verbruiksonderdelen, met inbegrip van
batterijen en lampjes.
• Niet-functionele en decoratieve onderdelen
die niet van invloed zijn op het normale ge-
bruik van het apparaat, inclusief eventuele
krassen en mogelijke kleurverschillen.
• Onvoorziene schade veroorzaakt door
vreemde voor-werpen of stoffen en het rei-
nigen of deblokkeren van filters, afvoersys-
temen of wasmiddellades.
• Schade aan de volgende onderdelen: glas-
keramiek, accessoires, serviesgoed en be-
stekmandjes, toevoer- en afvoerpijpen, af-
dichtingen, lampen en lampenkapjes, scher-
men, knoppen, behuizingen en gedeeltes
van behuizingen, tenzij kan worden aange-
toond dat deze veroorzaakt zijn door fabri-
cagefouten.
• Gevallen waarbij geen storing geconsta-
teerd kon worden tijdens het bezoek van
een technicus.
• Reparaties die niet zijn uitgevoerd door on-
ze aange-stelde servicediensten en/of een
erkende contractuele servicepartner of
wanneer er niet-originele onderdelen ge-
bruikt zijn.
• Reparaties die veroorzaakt zijn door instal-
latie die verkeerd of niet in overeenstem-
ming met de specificatie is uitgevoerd.
• Gebruik van het apparaat in niet-huishou-
delijke omgeving d.w.z. professioneel ge-
bruik.
• Transportschade. Indien het apparaat door
een klant naar zijn huis of een ander adres
vervoert, kan IKEA niet aansprakelijk ge-
steld worden voor eventuele transportscha-
de. Indien IKEA het apparaat aflevert op het
door de klant aangegeven adres, dan is
eventuele schade die ontstaan is tijdens de
aflevering gedekt door de garantie.
• Kosten voor de uitvoering van de installatie
van het IKEA-apparaat. Indien de IKEA ser-
vicedienst of de erkende servicepartner het
apparaat, binnen de voorwaarden van de-
ze garantie, repareert of vervangt, zal de
servicedienst of de erkende servicepartner,
indien nodig, het gerepareerde apparaat
of het vervangende apparaat installeren.
Deze beperking is niet van toepassing op fout-
loze werkzaamheden uitgevoerd door een
gekwalificeerd specialist met gebruik van on-
ze originele onderdelen teneinde het appa-
raat aan te passen aan de technische veilig-
heidsspecificaties van een ander EU-land.
Hoe zijn de landelijke wetten van toepassing
De garantie van IKEA geeft u specifieke wet-
telijke rechten, die op zijn minst voldoen aan
alle plaatselijke wettelijke eisen die per land
verschillend zijn.
Gebied van geldigheid
Voor apparaten die in een EU-land zijn aan-
geschaft en meegenomen worden naar een
ander EU-land, zal de dienstverlening uitge-
voerd worden in het kader van de garantie-
voorwaarden die in het nieuwe land gebrui-
kelijk zijn. Een verplichting om diensten te ver-
lenen in het kader van de garantie bestaat
uitsluitend als:

• het apparaat en de installatie ervan vol-
doen aan de technische specificaties van
het land waarin aanspraak gemaakt wordt
op de garantie;
• het apparaat en de installatie ervan in over-
een-stemming zijn met de montage-instruc-
ties en de veiligheidsinformatie die in de
gebruikershandleiding staan.
De speciale Klantenservice voor apparaten
van IKEA:
Aarzel alstublieft niet om contact op te nemen
met de speciale IKEA Klantenservice om:
1. een beroep te doen op deze garantie;
2. uitleg te vragen over de installatie van het
IKEA appa-raat in het daarvoor bedoelde
keukenmeubel van IKEA. De service geeft
u geen uitleg met betrekking tot:
– de volledige installatie van uw IKEA keu-
ken;
