Inleiding

Wij danken u voor de aanschaf van een Nieuwkoop Lux-meter.

Om het instrument optimaal te gebruiken, adviseren wij u om eerst de gehele

gebruiksaanwijzing goed door te lezen.

Voor gebruik

• maak de licht-sensor schoon (witte gedeelte) met een zachte niet schurende doek.

• Druk op de “ON”-toets en het instrument zal de nul afstelling automatisch uitvoeren, op de

display wordt “000”aangegeven. Let op, de sensor mag dan niet zijn aangesloten!

• Sluit de lichtsensor aan op connector “1” en de display zal de waarde laten zien in Lux

• Druk op de verschillende toetsen om de werking te controleren.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Wanneer onderstaande zich voordoet of het display geeft geen goede waarde, kunt u proberen de

batterij te vervangen, anders dient u het instrument op te sturen naar:

Nieuwkoop BV, Aalsmeer of uw eigen leverancier.

• Display geeft aan, vervang de batterij

• Automatische nul afstelling (geen sensor aangesloten) .werkt niet of display is incompleet

• Geen aflezing op het display

• Geen reactie van de sensor

• Toestbord werkt niet

Meet procedure

1. Sluit de sensor aan op het instrument en druk op de ON toets, de display zal een waarde

laten zien in de eenheid “LUX”

2. Houdt de sensor stil tijdens de meting en u kunt de correcte waarde aflezen.

3. Om over te stappen naar een andere eenheid drukt u op de LUX/FC toets

(1 lux = 0.929 F.C.)

4. Automatische schaal keuze: LX-93 kiest zelf de correcte schaal.

5. “HOLD” functie: om de gemeten waarde tijdelijk vast te zetten druk u op de HOLD toets,

wanneer u nogmaals drukt leest u weer de actuele waarde af.

6. Wanneer u klaar bent met meten druk u op de OFF toets en bergt u het instrument en de

sensor weer op in de draagtas om beschadigingen te voorkomen.

Signaal uitgang

• U kunt de lux-meter ook aansluiten op een recorder, controller, converter…

Signaal uitgang: DC 0-2V, 1mV/digit, impedance: 600 Ώ

Connector: Ǿ3.5 mono jackplug.

• Verlengkabel: de maximale lengte van de lage weerstandskabel mag niet meer dan 100

meter zijn.

Belangrijke notities

• Houdt de sensor schoon en zorg ervoor dat er geen krassen op de sensor ontstaan.

• Instrument beschermen tegen hoge temperaturen, hoge vochtigheid en statische

electrische velden.

• Schakel het instrument uit wanneer deze niet in gebruik is en haal de batterij uit het

instrument als deze voor lange tijd niet gebruikt wordt.

• Neem voor service, reparatie e.d. contact op met Nieuwkoop BV of uw eigen leverancier.

Preparation for operating

• Remove the cover of battery chamber then insert battery as + - polarity

• Cleaning phot sensor (white color portion) with cotton buds or soft coth

• Power ON the instrument will be performed “zero point” calibration automatically, then

display show “000”, please must be sure photo sensor and instrument are disconnected

• The photo sensor is inserted in the instrument, then display show Lux value.

• Press the keyboard and check functions

Precaution

When you complete above steps, if you found something wrong as display show belows, please

replace a battery or contact Nieuwkoop BV, Aalsmeer or your own supplier.

• Display show mark, replace battery

• It can not perform “zero point” automatically adjustment or numerial show incompletion

• Display is blank

• No response from sensor

• Keyboard can not be operated

Measuring procedure

1. Connect the photo sensor to the instrument, then turn on ON key, the display will show

numeral and unit “LUX”

2. Hold the sensor stationary during measuring and you can readout the value of Illumination.

3. Unit changeover by pressing the LUX/FC key to choose the required measuringunit in LUX

or F.C. (1 lux = 0.929 F.C.)

4. Auto range: The LX-93 is equipped with auto range function which is shown on the display.

5. “HOLD” function: if you want to keep the measurement dat temporary, press HOLD key,

and press again to release this function.

6. When you finish measurement, press OFF key to turn off the power, meanwhile put the

sensor into the carrying case carefully to avoid scrape of white shield.

• You can connect other accessories for applications such as recorder, controller,

converter…

• Extension cable: the length of low resistance signal cable should not exceed 100 meter for

application.

Safety precautions

• Keep the sensor clean and prevent scrach deformation of the sensor.

• Keep the instrument from high temperatures, high moisture and high statics electricity field.

• Be sure to turn “OFF” the instrument when not using and take out the battery if the

instrument will be used for a long time.

• Please contact our service department before you do adjustment, dismantle or modification

of the instrument.
