Ce manuel d’utilisation comprend des indications sur le
fonctionnement de l’appareil et les précautions à suivre pour la
sécurité de l’utilisateur.
Merci de le lire attentivement avant la première utilisation et de le
conserver soigneusement pour toute relecture future.
Cet appareil doit être utilisé uniquement pour faire de la recharge
et/ou de l’alimentation dans les limites indiquées sur l’appareil et
le manuel. Il faut respecter les instructions relatives à la sécurité. En
cas d’utilisation inadéquate ou dangereuse, le fabricant ne pourra
être tenu responsable.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés d’au moins 8 ans
et par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales réduites ou dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance,
s’ils (si elles) sont correctement surveillé(e)s ou si des instructions
relatives à l’utilisation de l’appareil en toute sécurité leur ont été
données et si les risques encourus ont été appréhendés. Les enfants
ne doivent pas jouer avec l’appareil. Le nettoyage et l’entretien
par l’usager ne doivent pas être effectués par des enfants sans
surveillance.
A n’utiliser en aucun cas pour charger des piles ou des batteries
non-rechargeables.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil, si le cordon d’alimentation ou la fiche de
secteur sont endommagés.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil, si le cordon de charge est endommagé
ou présente un défaut d’assemblage, afin d’éviter tout risque de
court-circuit de la batterie.
Le mode de fonctionnement automatique ainsi que les restrictions
applicables à l’utilisation sont expliqués ci-après dans ce mode
d’emploi.
Risque d’explosion et d’incendie!
Une batterie en charge peut émettre des gaz explosif.
• Pendant la charge, la batterie doit être placée dans un emplacement
bien aéré.
• Éviter les flammes et les étincelles. Ne pas fumer.
Connexion / déconnexion :
• Déconnecter l’alimentation avant de brancher ou de débrancher
les connexions sur la batterie.

• La borne de la batterie non reliée au châssis doit être connectée
la première. L’autre connexion doit être effectuée sur le châssis loin
de la batterie et de la canalisation de combustible. Le chargeur de
batterie doit alors être raccordé au réseau.
• Après l’opération de charge, débrancher le chargeur de batterie
du réseau puis retirer la connexion du châssis et enfin la connexion
de la batterie, dans l’ordre indiqué.
Raccordement :
• Appareil de classe II
• Le raccordement au réseau d’alimentation doit être effectué
conformément aux règles d’installation nationales.
Entretien :
• Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé
par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou des personnes de
qualification similaire afin d’éviter un danger.

DESCRIPTION GENERALE
Votre Gysash a été spécialement conçu pour recharger la plupart des batteries au plomb avec ou sans entretien, couramment
utilisées pour les voitures et pour de nombreux autres véhicules. Ces batteries peuvent être de plusieurs types ex: GEL (électrolyte
gélié), AGM (électrolyte imprégné), WET, MF (Maintenance Free), CA (Calcium)...
Le Gysash 8.12 est adapté à la charge de batterie 12V (6 éléments de 2V) de 15Ah à 160Ah et jusqu’à 240Ah pour du maintien de
charge.
Le Gysash 12.12 est adapté pour la charge de batterie 12V (6 éléments de 2V) de 20Ah à 250Ah et jusqu’à 330Ah pour du main-
tien de charge.
Le mode alimentation (SUPPLY) assure une compensation de courant pour les véhicules de démonstration et permet un change-
ment de batterie sans perte de la mémoire du véhicule.
Le Gysash 12.12 est équipé d’une fonction spécique qui adapte automatiquement la tension de sortie
en fonction de la température de l’air ambiante. Cet ajustement se fait en mode Charge ou mode Supply, il
permet d’avoir une recharge de batterie très précise adaptée à la température ambiante.

MISE EN ROUTE
1. Brancher le chargeur sur la batterie.
2. Brancher le chargeur sur la prise secteur (réseau monophasé 220-240Vac 50-60Hz).
3. Sélectionner le mode en appuyant sur le bouton
. Après environ cinq secondes, la charge se lance automatiquement.
4. Durant la charge, l’appareil indique l’état d’avancement de la charge. Lorsque le voyant
clignote, la batterie est prête à
démarrer le moteur. Et lorsque le voyant
reste allumé, la batterie est entièrement chargée.
5. La charge peut être interrompue à tout moment en débranchant la prise secteur ou en appuyant sur le bouton
.
6. Après l’opération de charge, débrancher le chargeur du réseau puis retirer les connexions de la batterie.
MODES DE CHARGE
• Description des Modes et des Options :
Mode CHARGE (14.4V / 8A-12A) :
Mode destiné à la charge et au maintien de charge des batteries au plomb 12V. Cycle de charge automatique en huit
étapes.
Option FROID/AGM ou AGM (14.7V) :
Option modiant la tension de charge à 14.7V pour certaines batteries AGM et batteries avec bouchons.
Dans le cas du Gysash 8.12, cette option permet également la charge par temps froid (moins de 5°C).
Option REFRESH (15.8V) :
Option permettant d’ajouter une étape supplémentaire (étape 7) au cycle de charge an de recondition-
ner les batteries ayant été fortement déchargées.
: il est recommandé de ne pas activer cette option pour la charge de batteries scellées.
Conseil : Vérier et compléter, si nécessaire, le niveau d’eau de la batterie après une charge avec Refresh.
Mode SUPPLY (13.6V / 8A-12A) :
Mode permettant d’utiliser le chargeur comme une alimentation stabilisée dont la tension est régulée à 13.6V. Ce
mode est destiné à l’alimentation des véhicules de démonstration et peut également servir à réaliser un remplace-
ment de batterie tout en conservant la mémoire du véhicule. Pour ce mode, il n’y a pas de limite de temps.
Lorsque le voyant
est allumé, la tension est correctement régulée. Si le voyant clignote, cela signie que le
courant consommé sur la batterie est supérieur au courant maximum délivré par le chargeur (8A ou 12A) et que la
batterie est susceptible de se décharger à terme.

Les GYSFLASH 8.12 et 12.12 utilisent une courbe de charge évoluée en huit étapes qui garantit les performances optimales de
votre batterie.

• Protections :
Les GYSFLASH 8.12 et 12.12 possèdent un ensemble de dispositifs les protégeant contre les courts circuits et
inversions de polarités. Ils disposent d’un système qui évite toute étincelle lors du branchement du chargeur sur la
batterie. Ces chargeurs sont à double isolation et compatibles avec l’électronique des véhicules.
Votre Gysash est équipé d’un capteur de température intégré qui lui permet d’adapter son courant de charge an d’éviter toute
surchauffe de l’électronique interne.

La garantie couvre tous défauts ou vices de fabrication pendant 2 ans, à compter de la date d’achat (pièces et main d’œuvre).
La garantie ne couvre pas :
• Toutes autres avaries dues au transport.
• L’usure normale des pièces (Ex. : câbles, pinces, etc.).
• Les incidents dus à un mauvais usage (erreur d’alimentation, chute, démontage).
• Les pannes liées à l’environnement (pollution, rouille, poussière).
En cas de panne, retourner l’appareil à votre distributeur, en y joignant :
- un justicatif d’achat daté (ticket de sortie de caisse, facture….)
- une note explicative de la panne.

This manual contains safety and operating instructions, to be
followed for your safety.
Please read it carefully before using the device for the first time and
keep it for future reference.
This device may only be used for charging and/or power supply
within the limits indicated on the device and manual. The operator
must observe the safety precautions. In case of improper or unsafe
use, the manufacturer cannot be held liable.
This unit can be used by children aged of at least 8 years and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience or knowledge, if they are properly monitored
or if instructions for using the equipment safely was given to them
and if they have been made aware of the risks. Children must no
play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance should not be
performed by unsupervised children.
Do not use to charge small batteries or non rechargeable batteries.
Do not operate the device with a damaged power supply cord or
a damaged mains plug.
Do not use the device if the charging cable appears to be damaged
or assembled incorrectly in order to avoid any risk of short circuiting
the battery.
The operating mode of the automatic charger and the restrictions
applicable to its use are explained below in this manual.
Fire and explosion risks!
A charging battery can emit explosive gases.
• During the charge, the battery must be placed in a well ventilated
area.
• Avoid flames and sparks. Do not smoke.
Connection / disconnection:
• Ensure that the charger’s power supply is disconnected before
plugging or unplugging the connections on the battery.
• Always ensure the Red clamp is connected to the «+» battery
terminal first. If it is necessary to connect the black clamp to the
vehicle chassis, make sure it is a safe distance from the battery and
the fuel/exhaust pipe. The charger must be connected to the mains.
• After charging, disconnect the charger from the mains, then
disconnect the clamp from the car body and then disconnect the
clamp from the battery, in the indicated order.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Your Gysash is ideal to charge most lead-acid batteries, often used for cars and many other vehicles. These batteries can be of
many types ex: GEL (gel electrolyte), AGM (absorbed glass mat), WET, MF (Maintenance Free), CA (Calcium)...
The Gysash 8.12 is designed to charge 12V batteries (6*2V elements) from 15Ah to 160Ah and up to 240Ah for oating charge.
The Gysash 12.12 is designed to charge 12V batteries (6*2V elements) from 20Ah to 250Ah and up to 330Ah for oating charge.
Its power supply mode (SUPPLY) provides current for demonstration vehicles and enables battery replacement without vehicle
system’s memory loss.
The GYSFLASH 12.12 is tted with an integrated temperature probe that ensures that the voltage output
is adapted to the ambient temperature. This adjustment is done in charge or in supply mode, it ensures a
highly precise charge adapted to the ambient temperature.
START UP
1. Connect the charger to the battery.
2. Plug the charger to the mains (single phase 220-240Vac 50-60Hz).
3. Select the mode by pressing the
button. After roughly 5 seconds, the charge starts automatically.
4. During the charge, the device indicates the charge’s progress. When the indicator
blinks, the battery is ready to start the
vehicle. Once the indicator
stays on, the battery is completely charged.
5. The charge can be interrupted at any time by unplugging the mains plug or pressing the
button.
6. After charging, disconnect the charger from the mains, then disconnect the charger’s connections from the battery.

COLD/AGM or AGM Option (14.7V):
Modies the charging voltage at 14.7V for some AGM batteries or batteries with caps. For the Gysash
8.12, this option allows to charge the battery during cold weather (Less than 5°C).
REFRESH Option (15.8V):
Option which add an extra step (step 7) to the charge cycle to restore deeply discharged batteries.
: this option is not recommended for charging sealed batteries.
Recommendation: Check the battery’s water level and if necessary, perform with a Refresh charge.
SUPPLY Mode (13.6V/7A):
This mode enables to use the charger as a stabilised power supply, with a voltage regulated at 13.6V. This mode is
designed for providing a power supply to demonstration vehicles and can also be used to replace a vehicle’s battery
while maintaining the system’s memory. With this mode, there is no time limit.
When the
indicator is on, the volyage is properly regulated. If the indicator blinks, this means that the
current absorbed by the battery is higher than the charger’s maximum current (8A or 12A) and that the battery might
end up being discharged.
• Charging curve:
The GYSFLASH 8.12 and 12.12 use an 8 steps charging curve which guarantees optimal performance for your battery.

• Protections :
The GYSFLASH 8.12 and 12.12 have several features to protect them against short-circuits or polarity inversions.
They have an anti-spark feature which prevents sparks whilst connecting the device to the battery. This charger has
double insulation and is compatible with vehicle’s onboard electronics.
The GYSFLASH is tted with an integrated temperature probe that ensures that the charging current is adapted to the ambient
temprature to prevent internal electronics’ overheating.

WARRANTY
The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:
• Transit damage.
• Normal wear of parts (eg. : cables, clamps, etc..).
• Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
• Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).
In case of failure, return the unit to your distributor together with:
- The proof of purchase (receipt etc ...)
- A description of the fault reported

Sicherheitshinweise müssen in jedem Fall beachtet werden. Im Fall
einer unangemessenen oder gefährlichen Verwendung kann der

Wenn das Ladekabel beschädigt ist oder ein Verbindungsfehler
auftritt, bitte das Gerät nicht benutzen, um jeglichen Kurzschluss
der Batterie zu vermeiden.
Der Automatik-Modus sowie die Einschränkungen bei der Benutzung
werden nachfolgend in der Betriebsanleitung erklärt.
Explosions- und Brandgefahr!
Während des Ladevorgangs können explosive Gase entstehen.
• Während des Ladevorgangs muss die Batterie in einem gut
belüfteten Bereich plaziert werden.
• Vermeiden Sie Funken und Flammen. Rauchen Sie nicht!
Verbinden/Trennen:
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Spannungsnetz bevor Sie Kabel und
Zangen anschließen oder trennen.
• Versichern Sie sich immer, dass die rote Klemme zuerst mit dem
«+» Pol der Batterie verbunden wird. Falls es nötig ist die schwarze
Klemme mit der Fahrzeugkarosserie zu verbinden, versichern
Sie sich, dass es einen Sicherheitsabstand von der Batterie zum
Benzintank/Aufspuff gibt. Achten Sie während der Ladung auf
einen frei zugänglichen Netzanschluss.
• Beachten Sie am Ende des Ladevorgangs folgendes: Trennen
Sie erst das Gerät vom Stromnetz und entfernen Sie dann erst die
Klemmen von der Batterie.

PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Die GYSFLASH-Geräte wurden entwickelt um die meisten Fahrzeugbatterietypen zu laden. Geeignete Batterietypen die angeschlos-
sen werden können: Flüssig, GEL, AGM, CA.
Das GYSFLASH 8.12 kann 12V Batterien (6x2V Elemente) von 15Ah bis 160Ah vollladen oder zur Ladungserhaltung bei 12V Batte-
rien bis 240Ah.
Das GYSFLASH 12.12 kann 12V Batterien (6x2V Elemente) von 20Ah bis 250Ah vollladen oder zur Ladungserhaltung bei 12V Batte-
rien bis 330Ah.
Der SUPPLY-Modus versorgt die Batterie während der Präsentation eines Vorführwagens mit Strom und ermöglicht einen Batte-
riewechsel ohne Datenverlust im Fahrzeugspeicher.
Das GYSFLASH 12.12 verfügt über eine spezielle Funktion, die automatisch die Ladespannung der Umge-
bungstemperatur anpasst. Die Anpassung ndet im Charge- und Supply-Modus statt und garantiert eine
den Umweltbedingungen entsprechend aufgeladene Batterie.

SUPPLY-Modus (13.6V / 8A-12A) :
Im SUPPLY-Modus dient das GYSFLASH als stabile Spannungsversorgung mit einer Spannung von 13,6V. Das Gerät
versorgt dann während der Präsentation eines Vorführswagens die elektrischen Verbraucher im Fahrzeug mit Energie
ohne die Batterie zu belasten. Bei einem Batteriewechsel bleiben die gespeicherten Daten des Bordnetztes erhalten.
Für diesen Modus gibt es keine Dauergrenze.
Im regulären Betrieb leuchtet die
Kontrollleuchte konstant. Blinkt sie , ist die Stromentnahme zu hoch
(größer 8A oder 12A), dieses kann die Batterie möglicherweise entladen.

• Tras la operación de carga, desconecte el cargador de la red
eléctrica, retire la conexión del chasis y la conexión de la batería,

DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL
Su GYSFLASH 7.12 ha sido especialmente diseñado para recargar la mayoría de baterías al plomo con o sin mantenimiento, utiliza-
das de forma corriente en los automóviles y otros vehículos. Las baterías pueden ser de varios tipos, por ejemplo: GEL (electrolito
gelicado), AGM (electrolito impregnado), WET, MF (Libre de mantenimiento), CA (Calcio)...
El Gysash 8.12 está adaptado para la carga de baterías al plomo de 12V (6 elementos de 2V) de 15Ah a 160Ah y hasta 240Ah
para el mantenimiento de carga.
El Gysash 12.12 está adaptado para la carga de baterías al plomo de 12V (6 elementos de 2V) de 20Ah à 250Ah y hasta 330Ah
para el mantenimiento de carga.
El modo alimentación (SUPPLY) asegura una compensación de corriente para vehículos de demostración y permite un cambio de
batería sin pérdida de la memoria del vehículo.
El GYSFLASH 12.12 posee una función especíca que adapta automáticamente la tensión de salida en fun-
ción de la temperatura ambiente. Este ajuste se hace en modo Carga o modo Supply, lo cual permite tener
una recarga muy precisa adaptada a la temperatura ambiente.
PUESTA EN MARCHA
1. Conecte el cargador a la batería.
2. Conecte el cargador sobre la toma de corriente (red monofásica 220-240Vac 50-60Hz).
3. Seleccione el modo presionando sobre el botón
. Tras aproximadamente cinco segundos, la carga se inicia automática-
mente.
4. Durante la carga, el aparato indica el estado de avance de esta. Cuando el indicador
parpadea, la batería está lista para
arrancar el motor. Y cuando el indicador
sigue encendido, la batería está completamente cargada.
5. La carga se puede interrumpir en todo momento desconectando el aparato de la red eléctrica o presionando el botón
.
6. Tras la operación de carga, desconecte el cargador de la red eléctrica y luego retire la conexión de la batería.

Consejo: Compruebe y complete, si es necesario, el nivel de agua de la batería tras una carga con Refresh.
Modo SUPPLY (13.6V / 8A-12A) :
Modo que permite el uso del cargador como una alimentación eléctrica estabilizada cuya tensión está regulada a
13.6V. Este modo está destinado a la alimentación de vehículos de demostración y se puede usar para realizar un
reemplazo de batería conservando la memoria del vehículo. Para este modo, no hay límite de tiempo.
Cuando el indicador
está encendido, la tensión está correctamente regulada. Si el indicador parpadea, esto

аккумуляторов с пробками. Для аппарата Gysash 8.12, эта опция позволяет также заряжать при
холодной погоде (менее 5°C).

разряженных АКБ.

ALGEMENE OMSCHRIJVING
De Gysash is speciaal ontworpen voor het opladen van de meeste loodaccu’s, met onderhoud of onderhoudsvrij, die gebruikt wor-
den voor auto’s en voor veel andere voertuigen. Dit kunnen verschillende types accu zijn, bijvoorbeeld : GEL (gegeleerde elektro-
lyt), AGM (geïmpregneerd elektrolyt), WET, MF (Maintenance Free), CA (Calcium)....
De Gysash 8.12 is geschikt voor het laden van 12V accu’s (6 elementen van 2V) van 15Ah tot 160Ah en tot 240 Ah bij druppella-
den.
De Gysash 12.12 is geschikt voor het laden van 12V accu’s (6 elementen van 2V) van 20Ah tot 250Ah en tot 330Ah bij druppella-
den.
De voedingsmodus (SUPPLY) zorgt voor een compensatielading voor demonstratie voertuigen, en maakt het mogelijk de accu te
verwisselen zonder geheugenverlies.
De Gysash 12.12 is uitgerust met een speciale functie, die automatisch de uitgaande spanning aanpast
op basis van de omgevingstemperatuur. Deze aanpassing wordt gedaan in de Laad modus of de Supply
modus, en maakt het mogelijk de accu met grote precisie te laden, afgestemd op de omgevingstempera-
tuur.

OPSTARTEN

LAAD MODUS
• Beschrijving van de Modes en Opties :
LAAD modus (14.4V / 8A-12A) :
Modus bestemd voor het laden en druppelladen van 12V lood accu’s. Automatische laadcyclus in acht etappes.
Optie KOUD/AGM of AGM (14.7V) :
Optie die de laadspanning aanpast tot 14.7V voor bepaalde AGM accu’s en accu’s met doppen. Gysash
8.12 : deze optie maakt het ook mogelijk te laden bij lage temperaturen (minder dan 5°C).
Optie REFRESH (15.8V) :
Optie waarmee een extra etappe aan de laadcyclus toegevoegd kan worden (etappe 7), om sterk ontla-
den accu’s weer te herstellen.
: het wordt aanbevolen deze optie niet te activeren voor het laden van verzegelde accu’s.
Advies : Controleer en completeer, indien nodig, het waterpeil van de accu na het opladen met de Refresh
functie.
SUPPLY Modus (13.6V / 8A-12A) :
Deze modus maakt het mogelijk om de lader te gebruiken als gestabiliseerde voedingsbron, met een gereguleerde
spanning van 13.6V. Deze modus is geschikt voor het opladen van demonstratie voertuigen, maar kan ook gebruikt
worden bij het vervangen van een accu, om het geheugen van het voertuig te behouden. Voor deze modus is er
geen tijdslimiet.
Wanneer het
lampje brandt is de spanning correct afgesteld. Als het lampje knippert, betekent dit dat de
door de accu verbruikte stroom hoger is dan de maximale stroom die geleverd kan worden door de lader (8A of 12A)
en dat de accu waarschijnlijk op termijn leeg zal raken.

• Beschermingen :
De GYSFLASH 8.12 en 12.12 hebben een reeks beveiligingen die het apparaat beschermen tegen kortsluiting en
polariteitswisseling. Het apparaat beschikt over een systeem dat vonkvorming bij het aankoppelen van de acculader
op de accu voorkomt. De lader heeft een dubbele isolatie en is compatibel met de elektronica van auto’s.
Uw Gysash is uitgerust met een ingebouwde temperatuur sensor, die het apparaat in staat stelt om de laadstroom aan te passen,

caso del Gysash 8.12, questa opzione permette anche la carica con temperature fredde (inferiore a 5°C).
Opzione REFRESH (15.8V) :
Opzione che permette di aggiungere una fase supplementare (passo 7) al ciclo per ricondizionare le batte-
rie fortemente scariche.
: si consiglia di non attivare questa opzione per la carica di batterie sigillate.
Consiglio: Vericare e completare, se necessario, il livello d’acqua della batteria dopo una carica con
Refresh.
Modo SUPPLY (13.6V / 8A-12A) :
Modo che permette l’uso del caricabatterie con un’ alimentazione stabilizzata con una tensione regolata a 13.6V.
Questo modo è destinato all’alimentazione dei veicoli di dimostrazione e può servire anche a realizzare un cambio di

• Protezioni:
I GYSFLASH 8.12 e 12.12 possiedono un’insieme di dispositivi che lo proteggono contro i corto-circuiti e le inversioni
di polarità. Dispongono di un sistema che evita le scintille durante il collegamento del caricabatterie alla batteria. Il
caricabatterie è a doppio isolamento ed è compatibile con l’elettronica dei veicoli.
Il Gysash è provvisto di un sensore di temperatura integrato che gli permette di adattare la corrente di carica per evitare ogni
surriscaldamento dell’elettronica interna.
RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI

• Inversione di polarità
• Tensione batteria troppo elevata
• Morsetti in corto circuito
• Vericare che i morsetti siano correttamente
collegati.
• Vericare che si tratti di una batteria 12V.

Fallimento durante la carica, batteria
irrecuperabile.
Cambiare di batteria e premere su

rimane accesa anche dopo aver

Difetto termico.
Temperatura ambiente troppo elevata (>50°C),
aerare il locale e lasciare il caricabatteria raffred-

GARANZIA
La garanzia copre qualsiasi difetto di fabbricazione per 2 anni, a partire dalla data d’acquisto (pezzi e mano d’opera).
La garanzia non copre:
• Danni dovuti al trasporto.
• La normale usura dei pezzi (Es. : cavi, morsetti, ecc.).
• Gli incidenti causati da uso improprio (errore di alimentazione, cadute, smontaggio).
• I guasti legati all’ambiente (inquinamento, ruggine, polvere).
In caso di guasto, rinviare il dispositivo al distributore, allegando:
- la prova d’acquisto con data (scontrino, fattura...)
- una nota esplicativa del guasto.
