Probeer het toestel nooit eigenhandig te repareren. Dompel het toestel, de voedingskabel of de stekker nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof. Dit om elektrische schokken of brand te voorkomen. Gebruik dit toestel niet met natte handen. Dit toestel is voorzien van een korte voedingskabel, om het risico te verminderen dat personen of objecten vast komen zitten of vallen over een langere voedingskabel. GEBRUIK HET TOESTEL NOOIT MET EEN VERLENGKABEL. Rol de voedingskabel volledig af om oververhitting op de kabel te voorkomen. Laat de voedingskabel niet op een heet oppervlak of over de rand van een tafel of aanrecht hangen. Laat de voedingskabel niet onder of rond het toestel hangen. Wees uitermate voorzichtig bij het vastnemen van de scherpe accessoires, zoals messen. Raak de accessoires pas aan van zodra ze volledig tot stilstand gekomen zijn in het toestel. Als het toestel niet goed onderhouden wordt, kan dit de levensduur van het toestel drastisch verminderen en een gevaarlijke situatie veroorzaken. Ongevallen of schade veroorzaakt door het niet volgen van deze regels zijn op eigen risico. Noch de fabrikant, de importeur of leverancier kan daar dan verantwoordelijk voor geacht worden. Messen Handvatten van de messen Uitwerpknop Aan-uitknop Motoreenheid 1 2 3 5 4 VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK · · Verwijder voor het eerste gebruik alle verpakkingsmaterialen en eventuele promotionele stickers. Reinig de messen voor gebruik. Zie rubriek «Reiniging en onderhoud». GEBRUIK 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Vergrendel beide messen aan elkaar voor je deze in het apparaat bevestigt. Schuif het knopje van het ene mes in het gleufje van het andere mes. ! Wees voorzichtig: de messen zijn erg scherp. Gebruik de handvatten van de messen wanneer je deze hanteert. Schuif de messen in het apparaat. Doe dit door, met de hand van het snijvlak weg, de messen vast te pakken aan de handvatten en het uiteinde in het apparaat te steken totdat je een klik hoort. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact. Plaats de te snijden etenswaar op een snijplank. Druk de aan-uitknop in en begeleid het mes door de etenswaar. Gebruik eventueel een vork om de etenswaar bij elkaar te houden. Om te stoppen met snijden, laat je de aan-uitknop weer los. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. ! Opgelet: plaats nooit je hand op de messen om deze te begeleiden terwijl het apparaat in gebruik is. De messen zijn gemaakt om heen en weer te gaan tijdens het snijproces, dit zou dan worden verstoord. Tips: · Gebruik steeds een snijplank. Snijd je voeding niet op keramiek, porselein, je aanrecht,... · Begeleid de messen van boven naar onder. Een zaagbeweging is niet nodig. · Snijd geen bot, pitten van fruit, stenen of andere harde voeding. Dit kan de messen beschadigen. · Slijp de messen niet. · Bij het snijden van bijvoorbeeld brood kan je een kleine hoeveelheid olie of boter op het mes doen om de weerstand te verkleinen. · Verwijder eventuele spiesjes bij het snijden van vlees. Verwijder de messen uit de motoreenheid door op de uitwerpknop te drukken. Neem de messen vast bij de handvatten en schuif de messen uit elkaar. De messen mogen gereinigd worden met water en een mild afwasmiddel. Of reinig de messen in de vaatwasmachine. Wrijf de motoreenheid schoon met een vochtige doek. Spoel de messen grondig en droog af. Bewaar de messen in de plastic hoes. ! Opgelet: Wees voorzichtig: de messen zijn erg scherp. Dompel de motoreenheid nooit onder in water. Gebruik geen schurende, bijtende of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen. MILIEURICHTLIJNEN Dit symbool op het product of op de verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huishoudafval mag worden behandeld. Het moet naar een plaats worden gebracht waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur wordt gerecycleerd. Veillez à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec les matériaux d’emballage. Nettoyez les lames avant de les utiliser. Voir la rubrique « Nettoyage et entretien ». · UTILISATION 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Accrochez les deux lames ensemble avant de les fixer à l’appareil. Faites glisser le rivet de l’une des lames dans l’ouverture de l’autre. ! Soyez prudent: les lames sont très aiguisées. Utilisez les poignées des lames pour les manipuler. Insérer les lames dans les fentes de la poignée en les saisissant par les appuiedoigt et en éloignant le côte tranchant de la main. Un déclic se fait entendre lorsque les lames sont enclenchées en place. Branchez l’appareil. Placer l’aliment à tracher sur une planche à découper. Appuyer sur l’interrupteur de mise en marche et diriger les lames du couteau vers le bas dans l’aliment. Utiliser une fourchette pour retenir l’aliment, le cas échéant. Pour arrêter de trancher, relâchez le bouton marche/arrêt. Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique. ! Attention: Ne jamais placer la main au-dessus de la lame pour la soutenir pendant l’utilisation du couteau. Les lames glissent vers l’avant et vers l’arrière pendant la coupe. Conseils : · Utilisez toujours une planche à découper. Ne tranchez jamais vos aliments sur de la céramique, de la porcelaine, votre plan de travail... · Tranchez vos aliments de haut en bas. Il n’est pas nécessaire d’effectuer un mouvement de va-et-vient. · N’utilisez pas votre couteau pour découper des os, des pépins, des noyaux de fruits ou tout autre aliment dur. Cela pourrait endommager les lames. · N’aiguisez pas les lames. · Pour couper du pain, par exemple, ajoutez une petite quantité d’huile ou de beurre sur le couteau pour atténuer la résistance. www.domo-elektro.be DO9234EM 9 · Avant de couper de la viande, retirez les éventuels bâtonnets en bois. Retirez les lames du bloc moteur en appuyant sur le bouton d’éjection. Saisissez les lames par les poignées, puis faites-les glisser pour les séparer. Nettoyez les lames avec de l’eau et un détergent doux ou mettez-les au lave-vaisselle. Nettoyez le bloc-moteur uniquement avec un chiffon humide. Rincez soigneusement les lames, puis séchez-les. Conservez les lames dans la housse en plastique. ! Attention: Soyez prudent: les lames sont très aiguisées. N’immergez jamais le bloc-moteur dans l’eau. N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage abrasifs, corrosifs ou agressifs. MISE AU REBUT Ce symbole sur le produit ou son emballage indique que ce produit ne peut être traité comme déchet ménager.
