Warning! Safety Instructions
Do not turn on the LED strip when it is rolled up. This may create a fire hazard. Always fully roll out the
LED strip before you plug it into the socket.
●Keep the packaging material away from children. They can choke on the packaging material.
●Keep the remote control out of the reach of children. Children could swallow the battery which can cause
serious injury.
●Use and store the LED strip out of the reach of children.
●Misuse of the LED strip can result in personal injury and damage to the device.
●Only use the LED strip for the purposes indicated in this user manual. If the LED strip is not functioning
properly, has been dropped or damaged, do not use the LED strip and contact our customer service.
●Never insert objects into the open parts of this device. This can cause an electric shock.
●The LED strip is designed and intended for private use only. Do not use the LED strip for commercial and
industrial purposes.
●Misuse of the LED strip can result in personal injury and damage to the device.
●This appliance is not suitable for children or for people with physical or mental disabilities, or people who
have no experience or knowledge of the appliance.
●Do not use the appliance near kitchen worktops or humidifiers where it can be exposed to steam or oil.
●While the insulated part of the LED strip is splash proof, no other part of the LED strip, adapter and
controller is water resistant.
●Do not immerse any part of the LED strip or remote control in water or other liquids.
●Do not place this device near water or other liquids (near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub,
in a wet basement or near a swimming pool, etc.).
●If this unit accidentally gets wet, unplug the power supply and contact our customer service immediately.
Do not touch the appliance and the power cord with wet or damp hands.
●If this appliance does not operate normally - especially if it produces unusual noises or smells - unplug the
power cord immediately and contact our customer service.
●Regularly check the product for damage or wear. If so, do not use the LED strip and have the device
repaired by authorized service personnel.
●Only use the LED strip with the specified wattage / voltage / ampere.

●Always disconnect the LED strip from the power before disconnecting, reconnecting cables or cutting the
led strip.
●Do not place objects on top of the LED strip or other parts such as the controller and adapter.
●Do not disassemble the LED strip. Do not repair or restore the device. This can damage the device. The
device should only be repaired by authorized service personnel. Contact us for repairs to avoid damage and
personal injury.
●To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of this appliance. Only a qualified technician should open
this device. Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or adapters beyond their capacity, as this can
cause fire or electric shock.
●Accumulated dust can cause electric shock, leakage, or fire by the power cord's sparks and heat, or by
deteriorating insulation.
●Do not drop or hit the product. If the product is damaged, unplug the power cord and contact our
customer service.
●Place the LED strip in such a way that the cables cannot be damaged.
Shortening the Led Strip
To shorten the LED strip follow the illustrations in this manual. Always remove the LED strip from the power
before shortening the LED strip. Once cut, the separate parts CANNOT be reconnected.
Installation
Download the Smart Life App
1) Navigate to the Google Play or App Store and download the Smart Life App. Or scan the below QR code to
install it:
2) Create an account in the Smart Life App
Configure the Led Strip
Note: This led strip does not work with a router that only has one WiFi network and continuously switches
between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz via its own intelligence. To install the led strip, the 5Ghz network on this router must
be permanently disabled. This leaves only the 2.4Ghz network. Refer to the router manual for instructions.
A router with a 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi network does not have this problem. In this case, connecting to the
2.4Ghz WiFi network is sufficient.
1) Connect your smartphone to the 2.4Ghz WiFi network
2) Open the Smart Life App
3) Click on the blue plus sign in the Smart Life app to add a device
4) Select Lightning > Light Strip (Wi-Fi)
5) Follow the steps on the screen. When in one of the steps it is required for the led strip to blink and it is not
blinking, please keep pressing the round, white button on the white cable controller until the led strip
starts blinking.
6) Please note that in one of the screens you have to select a radio button “Confirm flashing light” to enable
the “next” button.
7) Wait until the Led Strip is connected
8) You can now use all the available functions in the Smart Life app. You can also use Google Home and
Amazon Alexa for voice commands

Always make sure that your phone is connected to your 2.4Ghz WiFi network.
The Led Strip cannot find my WiFi network
Check whether a 2.4Ghz WiFi network is active. This Smart Led Strip only works with the 2.4Ghz network and
not with the 5Ghz network. If no 2.4Ghz network is active, you can activate it via your router settings.
Check that the device is placed within range of the WiFi connection.
It is not possible to connect to the WiFi network
Go to your router settings:
●Configure the encryption method (security) as WPA2-PSK and authorization type as AES. Or set both to
automatic.
●Make sure the wireless MAC filtering function is active. If necessary, remove the device from the
filtered devices to make sure the router is not blocking devices from connecting
●Check if the WiFi network password is correct.
The Led Strip cannot find my WiFi network
Check whether a 2.4Ghz WiFi network is active. This Led Strip only works with the 2.4Ghz network and not
with the 5Ghz network. If no 2.4Ghz network is active, you can activate it via your router settings.
It is not possible to add the led strip to Google Home or Alexa
Check whether the Led Strip has been properly added to the Smart Life App. The Led Strip can now be added
to Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
Correct Disposal of This Product (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment)
The symbol indicates that the device cannot be disposed of as household waste, but it must be
disposed of according to the European Directive 2012/19/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronics
Equipment – WEEE) and the national derivatives legislation to prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and to human health.
Correct disposal of the batteries in this product
This marking on battery, manual or packaging indicates that the batteries in this product should not
be disposed of with other household waste at the end of their working life

Zet de led strip niet aan wanneer deze opgerold is. Dit zorgt mogelijk voor brandgevaar. Rol de led strip
altijd volledig uit voordat je de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.
●Houd het verpakkingsmateriaal uit de buurt van kinderen. Zij kunnen in het verpakkingsmateriaal stikken.
●Houd de afstandsbediening buiten bereik van kinderen. Kinderen kunnen de batterij inslikken wat serieus

●Als dit apparaat per ongeluk nat wordt, trek dan de stekker van de stroomvoorziening uit het stopcontact
en neem onmiddellijk contact op met onze klantenservice. Raak het apparaat en het stroomsnoer niet met
natte of vochtige handen aan.
●Als dit apparaat niet normaal werkt - in het bijzonder als er ongebruikelijke geluiden of geuren uit komen -
trek de stekker dan onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact en neem contact op met onze klantenservice.
●Controleer regelmatig of het product schade of slijtage heeft. Indien daar sprake van is, gebruik de led strip
dan niet en laat het apparaat repareren door geautoriseerd onderhoudspersoneel.
●Gebruik de led strip alleen met de aangegeven wattage/voltage/ampère.
●Haal de led strip altijd eerst van het stroom voordat je kabels loskoppelt, opnieuw verbind of de led strip
knipt.
●Plaats geen objecten bovenop de led strip of andere onderdelen zoals de controller en adapter.
●Haal de led strip niet uit elkaar. Repareer en herstel het apparaat niet. Dit kan schade aan het apparaat
aanbrengen. Het apparaat mag alleen gerepareerd worden door geautoriseerd onderhoudspersoneel.
Neem contact met ons op voor reparaties om schade en persoonlijk letsel te voorkomen.
●Raak de binnenkant van dit apparaat nooit aan om elektrische schokken te voorkomen. Alleen een
gekwalificeerde technicus mag dit apparaat openen. Overbelast stopcontacten, verlengsnoeren of adapters
niet boven hun capaciteit, aangezien dit brand of elektrische schokken kan veroorzaken.
●Opgehoopt stof kan een elektrische schok, elektrische lekkage of brand veroorzaken doordat het netsnoer
vonken en hitte afgeeft, of doordat de isolatie verslechtert.
●Laat het product niet vallen en sla er niet op. Als het product is beschadigd, koppel dan het netsnoer los en
neemt contact op met onze klantenservice.
●Plaats de led strip zo dat de kabels niet beschadigd kunnen raken.

Inkorten van de Led Strip
Om de led strip in te korten volg de illustraties in deze handleiding. Haal altijd eerst de led strip van het stroom
alvorens je de led strip inkort. Eenmaal geknipt kunnen de losse delen NIET meer opnieuw verbonden worden.
Installatie
Download de Smart Life App
1) Ga naar de Google Play of App Store en download de Smart Life App. Of scan de onderstaande QR code om
de App te installeren:
2) Creëer een account in de Smart Life App
Configureer de Led Strip
Let op: Deze led strip werkt niet bij een router die maar één WiFi netwerk heeft en via eigen intelligentie
continu wisselt tussen 2.4Ghz en 5Ghz. Om de led strip te installeren moet het 5Ghz netwerk op deze router
definitief uitschakeld worden. Hiermee blijft alleen het 2.4Ghz netwerk over. Raadpleeg de handleiding van de
router voor de instructies. Voor de KPN ExperiaBox staat verderop in deze handleiding een instructie.
Een router met een 2.4Ghz én 5Ghz WiFi netwerk heeft dit probleem niet. In dit geval is verbinden met het
2.4Ghz WiFi netwerk voldoende.
1) Verbind je smartphone met het 2.4Ghz WiFi netwerk
2) Open de Smart Life App
3) Klik op het blauwe plusteken in de Smart Life App om een apparaat toe te voegen
4) Selecteer Verlichting > Light Strip (Wi-Fi)
5) Volg de stappen op het scherm.
6) Als in het scherm wordt gevraagd om een knipperende led strip en deze knippert niet, hou dan de ronde
witte knop op de witte kabelcontroller ingedrukt totdat de led strip knippert.
7) Let erop dat je in één van de schermen een vinkje moet zetten bij “Bevestiging licht in de flitser” om de
“doorgaan” knop te activeren.

8) Wacht totdat de led strip is geconfigureerd
9) Je kunt nu gebruik maken van alle functies in de Smart Life App.
Probleemoplossing
Zorg er altijd voor dat je telefoon met het 2.4Ghz WiFi netwerk verbonden is.

Heb jij een KPN ExperiaBox en lukt het verbinden niet?
Soms is het niet mogelijk om zelf te kiezen uit een 2.4Ghz of 5Ghz netwerk. Dit is echter op te lossen door het
5Ghz netwerk in je routerinstellingen te deactiveren.
Dit doe je als volgt:
1. Ga in je browser naar http://192.168.2.254/
2. Als het de eerste keer is dat je inlogt moet je een wachtwoord kiezen dat aan de aangegeven vereisten
voldoet
3. Als je in het menu bent ga je naar Wifi > Geavanceerd > 5Ghz > SSID Verbergen. Zet het knopje bij "Ja"
aan zodat het 5Ghz netwerk verborgen is.
4. Sla de instellingen op
5. Deactiveer en activeer de wifi op je telefoon.
6. Installeer de slimme stekker.
De Led Strip vindt mijn WiFi netwerk niet
Controleer of er een 2.4Ghz WiFi netwerk actief is. Deze Led Strip werkt alleen met het 2.4Ghz netwerk en niet
met het 5Ghz netwerk. Als er geen 2.4Ghz netwerk actief is kun je deze via jouw router instellingen activeren.
Controleer dat het apparaat binnen het bereik van de WiFi verbinding geplaatst is.
Het is niet mogelijk om met het WiFi netwerk te verbinden
Ga naar je routerinstellingen:
●Configureer de encryptiemethode (beveiliging) als WPA2-PSK en authorisatietype als AES. Of zet beide
op automatisch.
●Zorg ervoor dat het draadloos MAC filtering functie actief is. Verwijder het apparaat eventueel uit de
gefilterde apparaten om zeker te weten dat de router geen apparaten blokkeerd om te verbinden
●Controleer of het WiFi netwerk wachtwoord correct is.
Het lukt niet om de Led Strip aan Google Home of Alexa toe te voegen
Controleer of de Led Strip goed is toegevoegd aan de Smart Life App. De Led Strip is nu toe te voegen aan
Google Home of Amazon Alexa.

Attention ! Consignes de sécurité
N'allumez pas la bande LED lorsqu'elle est enroulée. Cela peut créer un risque d'incendie. Déroulez
toujours complètement la bande LED avant de la brancher sur la prise.
●Gardez le matériel d'emballage hors de portée des enfants. Ils pourraient s'étouffer avec.
●Gardez la télécommande hors de portée des enfants. Les enfants sont susceptibles d’ingérer les piles, ce
qui peut provoquer des blessures graves.
●Utilisez et rangez la bande LED hors de portée des enfants.
●Une mauvaise utilisation de la bande LED peut entraîner des blessures corporelles et endommager
l'appareil.
●N'utilisez la bande LED qu'aux fins indiquées dans ce manuel d'utilisation. Si la bande LED ne fonctionne
pas correctement, est tombée ou est endommagée, n'utilisez pas la bande LED et contactez notre service
client.
●N'insérez jamais d'objets dans les parties ouvertes de l’appareil. Cela peut causer un choc électrique.
●La bande LED est conçue et destinée à un usage privé uniquement. N'utilisez pas la bande LED à des fins
commerciales ou industrielles.
●Une mauvaise utilisation de la bande LED peut entraîner des blessures corporelles et endommager
l'appareil.
●Cet appareil ne convient pas aux enfants ou aux personnes souffrant d'un handicap physique ou mental, ou
aux personnes qui n'ont aucune expérience ou connaissance de l'appareil.
●N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité de plans de travail de cuisine ou d'humidificateurs où il peut être
exposé à la vapeur ou à l'huile.
●Si la partie isolée de la bande LED est étanche aux projections d'eau, toutes les autres parties de la bande
LED, de l'adaptateur et du contrôleur ne sont étanches.
●N'immergez aucune partie de la bande LED ou de la télécommande dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide.
●Ne placez pas cet appareil près de l'eau ou d'autres liquides (près d'une baignoire, d'un lavabo, d'un évier
de cuisine ou d'une cuve à lessive, dans un sous-sol humide ou près d'une piscine, etc.).
●Si cet appareil est accidentellement mouillé, débranchez l'alimentation électrique et contactez
immédiatement notre service clientèle. Ne touchez pas l'appareil et le cordon d'alimentation avec les
mains mouillées ou humides.
●Si cet appareil ne fonctionne pas normalement - en particulier s'il émet des bruits ou des odeurs
inhabituels - débranchez immédiatement le cordon d'alimentation et contactez notre service clientèle.
●Vérifiez régulièrement que le produit n'est pas endommagé ou usé. Si tel est le cas, n'utilisez pas la bande
LED et faites réparer l'appareil par un technicien agréé.
●Utilisez uniquement la bande LED avec la puissance / tension / ampère spécifiés.
●Débranchez toujours la bande LED de l'alimentation avant de déconnecter, de reconnecter les câbles ou de
couper la bande LED.
●Ne placez pas d'objets au-dessus de la bande LED ou d'autres pièces telles que le contrôleur ou
l'adaptateur.
●Ne démontez pas la bande LED. Ne réparez pas et ne restaurez pas l'appareil. Cela peut l’endommager.
L'appareil ne doit être réparé que par du personnel de service autorisé. Contactez-nous pour les
réparations afin d'éviter les dommages et les blessures.
●Pour éviter tout choc électrique, ne touchez jamais l'intérieur de cet appareil. Seul un technicien qualifié
doit ouvrir cet appareil. Ne surchargez pas les prises murales, les rallonges ou les adaptateurs au-delà de
leur capacité, car cela peut provoquer un incendie ou un choc électrique.
●L'accumulation de poussière peut provoquer un choc électrique, une fuite ou un incendie en raison des
étincelles et de la chaleur du cordon d'alimentation, ou en détériorant l'isolation.

Raccourcir la bande LED
Pour raccourcir la bande LED, suivez les illustrations de ce manuel. Retirez toujours la bande LED de
l'alimentation avant de raccourcir la bande LED. Une fois coupées, les pièces séparées NE PEUVENT PAS être
reconnectées.
Installation
Téléchargez l'application Smart Life
1) Accédez à Google Play ou à l'App Store et téléchargez l'application Smart Life.
2) Créez un compte dans l'application Smart Life
Configurer la bande LED intelligente
Remarque: cette bande de LED ne fonctionne pas avec un routeur qui n'a qu'un seul réseau WiFi et qui bascule
en permanence entre 2,4 GHz et 5 GHz via sa propre intelligence. Pour installer la bande LED, le réseau 5Ghz de
ce routeur doit être éteint en permanence. Cela ne laisse que le réseau 2.4Ghz. Reportez-vous au manuel du
routeur pour obtenir des instructions.
Un routeur avec un réseau WiFi 2.4Ghz et 5Ghz n'a pas ce problème. Dans ce cas, la connexion au réseau WiFi
2.4Ghz est suffisante.
1) Connectez votre smartphone au réseau WiFi 2.4Ghz
2) Ouvrez l'application Smart Life
3) Cliquez sur le signe plus dans l'application pour ajouter un appareil
4) Sélectionnez les bandes LED (Wi-Fi)
5) Suivez les étapes à l'écran
6) Si l'écran demande une bande LED clignotante et qu'elle ne clignote pas, appuyez et maintenez le bouton
rond blanc sur le contrôleur de câble blanc jusqu'à ce que la bande LED clignote.
7) Attendez que la bande LED soit connectée
8) Vous pouvez désormais utiliser toutes les fonctions disponibles dans l'application Smart Life. Vous pouvez
également utiliser Google Home et Amazon Alexa pour les commandes vocales.
Dépannage
Assurez-vous toujours que votre téléphone est connecté au réseau WiFi 2,4 GHz.

La bande LED ne trouve pas mon réseau WiFi
Vérifiez si un réseau WiFi 2,4 GHz est actif. Cette bande LED ne fonctionne qu'avec le réseau 2.4Ghz et non avec
le réseau 5Ghz. Si aucun réseau 2.4Ghz n'est actif, vous pouvez l'activer via les paramètres de votre routeur.
Vérifiez que l'appareil est placé à portée d’une connexion WiFi.
Il n'est pas possible de se connecter au réseau WiFi
Accédez aux paramètres de votre routeur :
●Configurez la méthode de cryptage (sécurité) comme WPA2-PSK et le type d'autorisation comme AES. Ou
réglez les deux sur automatique.
●Assurez-vous que la fonction de filtrage MAC sans fil est active. Si nécessaire, retirez l'appareil des appareils
filtrés pour vous assurer que le routeur n'empêche pas les appareils de se connecter
●Vérifiez que le mot de passe du réseau WiFi est correct.
Il n'est pas possible d'ajouter la bande LED à Google Home ou Alexa
Vérifiez que la bande LED a été correctement ajoutée à l'application Smart Life. La bande LED peut maintenant
être ajoutée à Google Home ou Amazon Alexa.
