Thank you for using the Lexus Hotspot.

Lexus Hotspot brings you a high speed wireless network connection.

This document will help you understand your Lexus Hotspot so you can start using it right away. Please read this document

carefully before using your Lexus Hotspot.

For detailed information about the functions and conﬁgurations of the Lexus Hotspot, refer to the online help on the web

management page that comes with your Lexus Hotspot.

For detailed instructions for logging in to the web management page, refer to "Getting Started".

Getting to Know Your Lexus Hotspot

! Note: The Lexus Hotspot function descriptions and illustrations in this document are for your reference only. The product you

use may vary.

! Note: Please be aware that all current vehicle hotspot have certain limitations that may aect their ability to perform properly.

The speed of the data transfer depends on GSM antennae condition, SIM card provider, SIM card network, SIM card network

loading, weather, road condition, vehicle condition or other circumstances.

! Note: Roaming is per default disabled to avoid huge cost. We advise to keep it this way. Change only to “Enable” if you are

sure you can control the costs.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

To use this system in the safest possible manner, follow all the safety tips shown below.

The driver is solely responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle and the safety of your passengers.

Do not use any feature of this system to the extent it becomes a distraction and prevents safe driving. The ﬁrst priority while

driving should always be the safe operation of the vehicle. While driving, be sure to observe all trac regulations.

Use this system only in locations where it is legal to do so. Some countries and/or provinces may have laws prohibiting its usage.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

Do not modify this system for any uses other than that speciﬁed herein. Lexus will not be held liable for damages including, but

not limited to serious injury, death or property damage resulting from installations that enable unintended operation.

When the vehicle is in motion, never take your eyes o the road to make adjustments to the main unit and operate it. You must

pay attention to the road at all times to avoid accidents.

The driver should not look at the device nor at other screens while driving. Doing so may result in an accident.

Do not disassemble or alter this main unit. Doing so may result in an accident, ﬁre or shock.

Do not let water or foreign objects enter the internal parts of this main unit. Doing so may result in smoke, ﬁre or shocks.

Always replaces fuses with fuses with identical capacity and characteristics. Never use a fuse with a higher capacity than the

original fuse. Using the wrong fuse may cause a ﬁre or severe damage.

If foreign objects or water enter the main unit, smoke or strange odor may be emitted. If this occurs, stop using the main unit and

contact your dealer. Accidents, ﬁre or shocks may result if you continue to use the main unit under these conditions.

The driver should not change the SIM card while driving. Doing so may result in an accident. You must ﬁrst stop and park the car

in a safe location and then proceed to remove or insert a new SIM card.

BEFORE USE:

The temperature inside the vehicle can increase during hot weather conditions. Wait for the temperature inside the vehicle to

drop before using this device. Otherwise it may result in damages.

When removing the SIM card from the main unit, remove it in the parallel direction it was inserted. Do not force it out while

removing it. Improper removal may result in the SIM card being damaged and or the main unit.

HANDLING SIM CARD:

Do not place the SIM card in direct sunlight.

Do not touch the SIM card contacts; do not damage the contacts.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS

Wi-Fi devices (such as smartphones, tablet computers, and game consoles) can access the Internet through the Lexus Hotspot.

The speciﬁc connection procedure depends on the operating system of the Wi-Fi device. Establish a connection according to

your device's speciﬁc instructions.

SSID AND WI-FI ACCESS KEY

When a Wi-Fi device establishes a connection to the Lexus Hotspot for the ﬁrst time, you may need to search the default

Service Set Identiﬁer (SSID) and enter Wi-Fi access key.

! Note: The default SSID and the default Wi-Fi access key are printed on the label which is on the front page of this guide. The

default SSID is LEXUS-xxxxx (where xxxxx are digits from 0 to 9). The default password is <Lexus123>.

Getting Started

INSTALLING A SIM CARD

CAUTION

Use a standard SIM card compatible with the

Lexus Hotspot, otherwise you will damage your

Lexus Hotspot.

Install the SIM card according to the illustration.

 If you don’t have a SIM card, please purchase one at your favorite mobile data provider.

 Install the SIM card before powering on the device.

 Changing the SIM card must be done while the system is turned OFF.

CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET VIA WI-FI

The Lexus Hotspot's management parameters have been preset according to your operator's requirements. You can quickly

connect to the Internet by following these steps.

Step 1: Turn on the Lexus Hotspot

Turn on the vehicle ACC power and switch on the Lexus Hotspot

until the indicators light up, indicating that the Lexus Hotspot is

turned on.

! Note: Switch the device o by either turning the vehicle o or

switching the Lexus Hotspot o.

Step 2: Establish a connection from your personnel Wi-Fi capable device (laptop, tablet, smartphone)

See the operation instruction of the above mentioned device to establish the connection.

! Note: The default SSID is LEXUS-xxxxx (where xxxxx are digits from 0 to 9). The default password is <Lexus123>.

Step 3: Select Language and view Help menu if needed

Select your own language in the drop donw list on the top right corner. The Help menu above there will be a good support if

needed as well.

Step 4: Logging In to the Web Management Page

 Make sure the connection between the Lexus Hotspot and the Wi-Fi device is working normally.

 Open the browser and enter mylexuswiﬁ.home (or 192.168.1.1) in the address box.

 Enter the password to log in to the web management page.

 If the PIN veriﬁcation function is enabled, enter the correct PIN according to the instructions. PIN/PUK codes are supplied by

your operator along with the SIM card. For details, please consult your operator.

! Note: The default username and password are <admin>.

Step 5: Quick Setup

The Quick setup, in the Settings management tab, is the wizard that helps conﬁgurate the Lexus Hotspot device. It’s devided in

steps 1 to 6.

! Note: The Proﬁle name and APN might be ﬁlled in automatically if the provider is recognized by the Lexus Hotspot.

! Note: The Proﬁle name and APN will be ﬁlled in automatically if the SIM is recognized by the Lexus Hotspot. If not, the APN

can be found on the internet or contact your operator.

! Note: Connection Mode

 Automatic: If data is transmitted, the Lexus Hotspot will automatically connect to the Internet. By default, if data is not transmitted

for 10 minutes, the Lexus Hotspot will automatically disconnect from the network connection.

 Manual: After logging in to the web management page, connect to or disconnect from the network according to the instructions.

Roaming is per default disabled to avoid huge cost. We advise to keep it this way. Change only to “Enable” if you are sure you can

control the costs.

! Note: Default key is <Lexus123>

Step 6: Connect to the Internet

After successfully establishing a Wi-Fi connection, you can connect to the Internet using the following methods: click <Connect>

on the center of the Home page (if not done automatically).

! Note: Select an appropriate Internet connection mode according to your billing method. For instance, if your network

service calculates your bill by network connection time, it is recommended that you select manual connection mode. For detailed

information about your network fees, please contact your operator.

! Note:

 You can log in to the web management page and select an Internet connection mode.

 You can enable or disable the automatic dialing while roaming function. If this function is turned o, when the Lexus Hotspot

enters a roaming network, it will automatically disconnect from the Internet connection that has already been established. You will

need to manually establish this network connection again.

Restoring to Factory Settings

If you forget some conﬁguration parameters, you can restore the Lexus Hotspot to its factory settings and then conﬁgure the

Lexus Hotspot again.

Press and hold the RESET button for more than three seconds, and then loosen. The Lexus Hotspot disconnects from the

network connection and then the indicators turn o. The Lexus Hotspot restarts and then is restored to its factory settings.

! Note: After you carry out this operation, the Lexus Hotspot's personal conﬁguration parameters will all be deleted. All

conﬁgurations on the web management page will be restored to the factory settings.

Tips

If you are unable to use the Lexus Hotspot as normal, try the following:

 Consult the online help on the web management page.

 Restart the Lexus Hotspot.

 Restore the Lexus Hotspot to the factory settings.

 Consult your operator.

Update

You will receive a message on the web management page in case a software update is available. Select the update tab and

follow the instructions.

It is possible that your device loses connection to the Lexus Hotspot at the end of the update operation if another Wi-Fi device is

reached. In that case select the Lexus Hotspot again in the Wi-Fi devices list.

14 Lexus Hotspot

De eerste kennismaking met uw Lexus Hotspot

! Opmerking: De Lexus Hotspot functiebeschrijvingen en illustraties in dit document zijn louter bedoeld om u te helpen.

Het product dat u gebruikt, kan hier ook van afwijken.

! Opmerking: Gelieve er rekening mee te houden dat alle huidige voertuighotspots bepaalde begrenzingen hebben die

hun correcte werking kunnen beïnvloeden. De snelheid waarmee de gegevens worden overgedragen, hangt af van de staat van de

gsm-antenne, de simkaartprovider, de belasting van het simkaartnetwerk, het weer, de staat van de weg, de staat van het voertuig of

andere omstandigheden.

! Opmerking: Roaming is standaard gedeactiveerd om hoge kosten te vermijden. We raden u aan om dit zo te laten.

Verander deze instelling alleen naar 'Activeer', als u er zeker van bent dat u de kosten onder controle kunt houden..

VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:

Volg alle veiligheidstips hieronder om het systeem op een zo veilig mogelijke manier te gebruiken.

De bestuurder is als enige verantwoordelijk voor het veilige gebruik van het voertuig en de veiligheid van de passagiers.

Gebruik geen enkele functie van dit systeem in die mate dat uw aandacht erdoor wordt afgeleid en de veiligheid tijdens het

rijden in gevaar komt. Tijdens het rijden moet het veilige gebruik van het voertuig altijd de eerste prioriteit zijn. Houd u tijdens

het rijden aan alle verkeersregels.

Gebruik dit systeem alleen op plaatsen waar dit wettelijk is toegestaan. In sommige landen/provincies kunnen er wetten gelden,

die het gebruik ervan verbieden.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR VEILIGHEID:

Gebruik dit systeem niet voor andere doeleinden dan in dit document aangegeven. Lexus aanvaardt geen enkele

aansprakelijkheid voor schade, met inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot ernstig letsel, dood of materiële schade, veroorzaakt

door installatieprocedures die niet voorziene bediening mogelijk maken.

Tijdens het rijden mag u uw blik nooit van de weg afwenden om dingen aan te passen aan het apparaat of het te bedienen. U

moet altijd op de weg letten om ongevallen te voorkomen.

De bestuurder mag niet naar het apparaat, noch naar andere schermen kijken tijdens het rijden. Indien hij dat wel doet, kan dat

tot een ongeval leiden.

Demonteer of wijzig het apparaat niet. Indien u dat wel doet, kan dat leiden tot ongevallen, brand of schokken.

Zorg dat er geen water of vreemde voorwerpen in de inwendige delen van het apparaat terechtkomen. Dit kan namelijk leiden

tot rook, brand of schokken.

Vervang de zekeringen altijd door zekeringen met dezelfde capaciteit en kenmerken. Gebruik nooit een zekering met een

hoger vermogen dan de oorspronkelijke zekering. Het gebruik van een verkeerde zekering kan brand of ernstige schade

veroorzaken.

Als er vreemde voorwerpen of water in het apparaat terechtkomen, kan er rook of een vreemde geur worden afgegeven. Indien

dat het geval is, moet u stoppen met het gebruik van het apparaat en contact opnemen met uw dealer. Als u het apparaat onder

dergelijke omstandigheden blijft gebruiken, kan dit tot ongevallen, brand of schokken leiden.

De bestuurder mag tijdens het rijden niet van simkaart wisselen. Indien hij dat wel doet, kan dat tot een ongeval leiden. U moet

eerst stoppen en uw auto op een veilige plaats parkeren en dan pas de simkaart verwijderen of een nieuwe simkaart inbrengen.

VOOR GEBRUIK:

De temperatuur in de auto kan toenemen bij warm weer. Wacht tot de temperatuur in de auto zakt, voordat u dit apparaat

gebruikt. Zo niet, kan dit tot schade leiden.

Om de simkaart uit het apparaat te verwijderen, maakt u dezelfde beweging als bij het inbrengen, maar dan in tegengestelde

richting. Forceer de kaart niet bij het verwijderen ervan. Dit kan namelijk tot schade aan de simkaart of het apparaat leiden.

HANTERING VAN DE SIMKAART:

Stel de simkaart niet bloot aan direct zonlicht.

Raak de contactpunten van de simkaart niet aan; beschadig de contactpunten niet.

GEBRUIKSSCENARIO'S

WiFi-apparaten (zoals smartphones, tabletcomputers en speelconsoles) kunnen verbinding maken met het internet via de

Lexus Hotspot. De speciﬁeke verbindingsprocedure hangt af van het besturingssysteem van het WiFi-toestel. Breng een

verbinding tot stand volgens de speciﬁeke instructies van uw apparaat.

Wanneer een WiFi-apparaat voor het eerst een verbinding tot stand brengt met de Lexus Hotspot, kan het zijn dat u de default

! Opmerking:

 Als u geen simkaart heb, koop er dan een bij de mobiele dataprovider van uw keuze.

 Breng de simkaart in, voordat u het toestel aanschakelt.

 Het vervangen van de simkaart moet gebeuren met het systeem uitgeschakeld.

VERBINDING MAKEN MET HET INTERNET VIA WIFI

De managementparameters van de Lexus Hotspot werden vooringesteld volgens de eisen van uw operator. Om snel

verbinding te maken met het internet, doet u het volgende:

Stap 1: Schakel de Lexus Hotspot aan.

Schakel de ACC-stroom van het voertuig aan en doe hetzelfde

met de Lexus Hotspot totdat u de controlelampjes ziet oplichten,

die aangeven dat de Lexus Hotspot is aangeschakeld.

! Opmerking: Schakel het apparaat uit door ofwel

het voertuig, ofwel de Lexus Hotspot uit te schakelen.

Stap 2: Breng een verbinding tot stand met uw persoonlijk toestel met WiFi-functie (laptop, tablet, smartphone).

Voor het tot stand brengen van deze verbinding verwijzen we u graag naar de gebruiksaanwijzing van het desbetreende

toestel.

! Opmerking: De default SSID is LEXUS-xxxxx (waarbij xxxxx voor cijfers van 0 tot 9 staat). Het default paswoord is

<Lexus123>.

Stap 3: Selectie van de taal en bekijken van het 'Help'-menu, indien nodig

Selecteer uw eigen taal uit de dropdownlijst in de rechter bovenhoek. Het 'Help'-menu erboven zal goed van pas komen, als u

hulp nodig hebt met iets.

Stap 4: Inloggen op de webmanagementpagina

 Zorg ervoor dat de verbinding tussen de Lexus Hotspot en het WiFi-toestel normaal werkt.

 Open de browser en geef mylexuswiﬁ.home (of 192.168.1.1) in het adresvenster in.

 Geef het paswoord in om in te loggen op de webmanagementpagina.

 Als de PIN-veriﬁcatiefunctie geactiveerd is, geeft u de correcte PIN-code in volgens de instructies. De PIN/PUK-code krijgt u

samen met de simkaart van uw operator. Raadpleeg uw operator voor meer details.

! Opmerking: De default gebruikersnaam en het default paswoord zijn <admin>.

Stap 5: Snelle installatie

De 'Snelle installatie', in de 'Instellingen'-tab, is de naam van de wizard die u helpt om het Lexus Hotspot-toestel te conﬁgureren.

Hij is onderverdeeld in 6 stappen.

! Opmerking: De Proﬁelnaam en de APN kunnen automatisch ingevuld zijn, als de Lexus Hotspot de provider herkent.

! Opmerking: De Proﬁelnaam en de APN zullen automatisch ingevuld zijn, als de Lexus Hotspot de simkaart herkent. Zo

niet, kunt u de APN online terugvinden of neemt u contact op met uw operator.

! Opmerking: Verbindingsmodus

 Automatisch: Als er gegevens worden overgedragen, zal de Lexus Hotspot automatisch verbinding maken met het internet.

Volgens de default instelling is het zo dat, als er 10 minuten lang geen gegevens worden overgedragen, de Lexus Hotspot de

netwerkverbinding automatisch zal verbreken.

 Handmatig: Na u ingelogd te hebben op de webmanagementpagina, kunt u verbinding maken met het netwerk of de verbinding

verbreken volgens de instructies.

Roaming is standaard gedeactiveerd om hoge kosten te vermijden. We raden u aan om dit zo te laten. Verander deze instelling

alleen naar 'Activeer', als u er zeker van bent dat u de kosten onder controle kunt houden.

! Opmerking: De default sleutel is <Lexus123>.

Stap 6: Verbinding maken met het internet

Na met succes een WiFi-verbinding tot stand te hebben gebracht, kunt u online gaan via de volgende methoden: klik op

<Verbind> in het midden van de homepagina (als dit niet automatisch gebeurt).

! Opmerking: Kies een gepaste internetverbindingsmodus in functie van uw factureringsmethode. Als uw netwerkdienst

uw factuur bv. berekent op basis van de netwerkverbindingstijd, raden we u aan om de manuele verbindingsmodus te selecteren.

Voor gedetailleerde informatie over uw netwerktarieven neemt u best contact op met uw operator.

! Opmerking:

 U kunt op de webmanagementpagina inloggen en een internetverbindingsmodus selecteren.

 U kunt het automatisch verbinden activeren of deactiveren bij de roamingfunctie. Als deze functie is uitgeschakeld, wanneer

de Lexus Hotspot in contact komt met een roamingnetwerk, dan zal de internetverbinding die al tot stand werd gebracht,

automatisch worden verbroken. U zult dan handmatig de verbinding met dit netwerk moeten herstellen.

Terug naar de fabrieksinstellingen

Als u bepaalde conﬁguratieparameters bent vergeten, kunt u de Lexus Hotspot naar zijn fabrieksinstellingen terugzetten en de

Lexus Hotspot vervolgens opnieuw conﬁgureren.

Druk op de RESET-knop, houd deze langer dan drie seconden ingedrukt en laat deze daarna los. De Lexus Hotspot zal de

netwerkverbinding verbreken, waarna de controlelampjes zullen doven. Vervolgens zal de Lexus Hotspot opnieuw opstarten

en daarbij terugkeren naar de fabrieksinstellingen.

! Opmerking: Nadat u dit hebt gedaan, zullen de persoonlijke conﬁguratieparameters van de Lexus Hotspot allemaal

gedeleted zijn. Alle conﬁguraties op de webmanagementpagina zullen teruggezet zijn naar hun fabrieksinstellingen.

Tips

Als u de Lexus Hotspot niet normaal kunt gebruiken, probeer dan het volgende:

 Raadpleeg de online helpfunctie op de webmanagementpagina.

 Herstart de Lexus Hotspot.

 Zet de Lexus Hotspot terug naar de fabrieksinstellingen.

 Raadpleeg uw operator.

Update

Als er een softwareupdate beschikbaar is, zult u een bericht ontvangen op de webmanagementpagina. Selecteer de updatetab

en volg de instructies.

Connaître son Lexus Hotspot

! Important : Tous les accès Wi-Fi actuels des véhicules ont certaines restrictions pouvant les empêcher de fonctionner

correctement. La vitesse du transfert des données dépend de l'état de l'antenne GSM, du fournisseur de la carte SIM, du réseau

de la carte SIM, des conditions d'utilisation du réseau de la carte SIM, des conditions météorologiques, de l'état de la route, les

conditions de fonctionnement du véhicule et d'autres circonstances.

! Important : Par défaut, l'itinérance est désactivée aﬁn d'éviter des frais élevés. Nous vous conseillons de ne rien modiﬁer.

Procédez à une modiﬁcation uniquement pour "Activér" si vous avez la certitude de contrôler les coûts.

Le conducteur ne doit regarder ni l'appareil ni d'autres écrans lorsqu'il conduit. Dans le cas contraire, il risque de provoquer un

Ne pas démonter ou modiﬁer cette unité principale. Dans le cas contraire, un accident, un incendie ou un choc électrique pourrait

se produire.

Veillez à ce que ni de l'eau ni des corps étrangers ne pénètrent dans les pièces internes de cette unité principale. Dans le cas

contraire, de la fumée, un incendie ou des chocs électriques pourraient se produire.

Remplacez toujours les fusibles par d'autres fusibles dont les capacités et caractéristiques sont identiques. N'utilisez jamais un

fusible dont la capacité est supérieure à celle du fusible d'origine. L'utilisation d'un fusible inapproprié peut provoquer un incendie

ou d'importants dégâts.

Si des corps étrangers ou de l'eau pénètrent dans l'unité principale, de la fumée ou une odeur inhabituelle peut être produite. Le cas

échéant, cessez d'utiliser l'unité principale et contactez votre distributeur. Si l'unité principale continue d'être utilisée dans ces

conditions, des accidents, un incendie ou des impacts risquent de se produire.

Le conducteur ne doit pas changer la carte SIM lorsqu'il conduit. Dans le cas contraire, il risque de provoquer un accident. Vous

devez tout d’abord arrêter ou garer votre véhicule dans un endroit sûr, puis retirer ou insérer une nouvelle carte SIM.

AVANT TOUTE UTILISATION :

Par temps chaud, la température à l’intérieur du véhicule risque d’augmenter. Attendez que la température à l’intérieur du

véhicule baisse avant d’utiliser l'appareil. Dans le cas contraire, des dégâts risquent d'être occasionnés.

Lors du retrait de la carte SIM de l'unité principale, celle-ci doit être extraite dans le sens parallèle auquel elle a été insérée. Ne

forcez pas pour la retirer. Un retrait incorrect de la carte SIM risque d'endommager cette dernière et/ou l'unité principale.

MANIEMENT DE LA CARTE SIM :

N'exposez pas la carte SIM dans une zone ensoleillée.

Ne touchez pas aux contacts de la carte SIM et n'endommagez pas les contacts.

Il est possible d'accéder à internet avec les appareils Wi-Fi (smartphones, tablettes et consoles de jeu) via le Lexus Hotspot. La

Etape 2 : Connectez-vous à partir de votre appareil Wi-Fi personnel (ordinateur portable, tablette, smartphone)

Reportez-vous aux instructions d'utilisation de l'appareil mentionnées ci-dessus pour établir la connexion.

défaut est <Lexus123>.

Etape 3 : Sélectionnez la langue et utilisez le menu d'assistance, si nécessaire

Choisissez votre langue dans la liste déroulante en haut à droite. En cas de besoin, le menu d'assistance disponible peut s'avérer

également utile.

Etape 4 : Accès à la page web de gestion

 Assurez-vous que la connexion entre le Lexus Hotspot et l'appareil Wi-Fi fonctionne normalement.

 Ouvrez le navigateur et allez sur mylexuswiﬁ.home (ou 192.168.1.1) dans la boîte d'adresse.

 Saisissez le mot de passe pour accéder à la page web de gestion.

 Si la fonction de vériﬁcation de code PIN est activée, entrez le code PIN correct en suivant les instructions. Les codes PIN/PUK

sont fournis par votre opérateur avec la carte SIM. Pour plus de détails, veuillez contacter votre opérateur.

! Important : Le nom d'usager et mot de passe par défaut sont <admin>.

Etape 5 : Conﬁguration rapide

La fonction de conﬁguration rapide, dans l'onglet de gestion des paramètres, est l'assistant qui aide à conﬁgurer le Lexus

Hotspot. Cette opération est divisée en 6 étapes.

! Important : Le nom du proﬁl et l'APN peuvent être remplis automatiquement si le fournisseur est reconnu par le Lexus

Hotspot.

! Important : Le nom du proﬁl et l'APN seront remplis automatiquement si la carte SIM est reconnue par le Lexus

Hotspot. Si ce n'est pas le cas, l'APN peut être retrouvé sur internet, ou alors contactez votre opérateur.

! Important : Mode de connexion

 Mode "Auto" : Si les données sont transmises, le Lexus Hotspot se connectera automatiquement à internet. Par défaut, si les

données ne sont pas transmises pendant 10 minutes, la connexion au réseau du Lexus Hotspot cessera automatiquement.

 Mode "Manuel" : Après être entré sur la page web de gestion, respectez les instructions pour la connexion ou déconnexion à/

du réseau.

Par défaut, l'itinérance est désactivée aﬁn d'éviter des frais élevés. Nous vous conseillons de ne rien modiﬁer. Procédez à une

modiﬁcation uniquement pour "Activér" si vous avez la certitude de contrôler les coûts.

Etape 6 : Connexion à internet

Une fois la connexion Wi-Fi bien établie, vous pouvez vous connecter à internet en utilisant les méthodes suivantes : cliquez sur

<Connecter> au centre de la page d'accueil (si cela n'est pas fait automatiquement).

! Important : Choisissez un mode de connexion internet approprié en fonction du mode de facturation. Par exemple, si

votre réseau de service vous facture en fonction de la durée de connexion au réseau, il est recommandé de choisir le mode manuel

de connexion. Pour plus de détails sur vos tarifs d'accès au réseau, veuillez contacter votre opérateur.

! Important :

 Vous pouvez accéder à la page web de gestion et choisir un mode de connexion à internet.

 Vous pouvez activer ou désactiver la composition automatique lors de la fonction d'itinérance. Si cette fonction est désactivée,

lorsque le Lexus Hotspot accède au réseau d'itinérance, la connexion à internet déjà établie sera automatiquement annulée.

Vous devrez rétablir manuellement cette connexion au réseau.

Restauration des paramètres d'origine

Si vous oubliez certains paramètres de conﬁguration, vous pouvez restaurer les paramètres d'origine du Lexus Hotspot, puis

conﬁgurer de nouveau ce Lexus Hotspot.

Maintenez enfoncé le bouton RESET pendant plus de trois secondes, puis le relâcher. Le Lexus Hotspot se déconnecte du

réseau, puis les témoins s'éteignent. Le Lexus Hotspot redémarre, puis ses paramètres d'origine sont restaurés.

! Important : Une fois cette opération terminée, les paramètres personnels de conﬁguration du Lexus Hotspot seront tous

Astuces

S'il vous est impossible d'utiliser le Lexus Hotspot normalement, tentez ce qui suit :

 Rendez-vous sur l'assistance en ligne sur la page web de gestion.

 Redémarrez le Lexus Hotspot.

 Restaurez les paramètres d'origine du Lexus Hotspot.

 Contactez votre opérateur.

Mise à jour

En cas d'une mise à jour du logiciel disponible, vous recevrez un message sur la page web de gestion. Sélectionnez l'onglet de

mise à jour et suivre les instructions.

Il est possible que votre appareil perde la connexion au Lexus Hotspot une fois la mise à jour terminée si un autre appareil Wi-Fi

est atteint. Le cas échéant, sélectionnez à nouveau le Lexus Hotspot dans la liste des appareils Wi-Fi.

! Hinweis: Beachten Sie, dass alle gegenwärtigen Fahrzeug-Hotspots gewissen Einschränkungen unterliegen, die den

einwandfreien Betrieb beeinträchtigen können. Die Geschwindigkeit der Datenübertragung hängt von mehreren Faktoren wie z. B.

Zustand der GSM-Antenne, Anbieter der SIM-Karte, SIM-Kartennetzwerk, Belastung des SIM-Netzwerks, Wetter, Zustand der

Straße oder Zustand des Fahrzeugs ab.

! Hinweis: Roaming ist standardmäßig deaktiviert, um hohe Kosten zu vermeiden. Es wird empfohlen, diese Einstellung nicht

zu ändern. Aktivieren Sie nur dann die Funktion, wenn Sie die Kosten zuverlässig überwachen können.

Modiﬁzieren Sie dieses System nicht für einen anderen als den hier angeführten Gebrauch. Lexus übernimmt keinerlei Haftung für

Schäden – z. B. schwere Verletzungen, Tod oder Sachschäden – aufgrund eines Einbaus, der einen nicht bestimmungsgemäßen

Betrieb ermöglicht.

Wenn sich das Fahrzeug in Bewegung beﬁndet, sehen Sie niemals von der Straße weg, um Einstellungen an der Haupteinheit

vorzunehmen oder das System zu bedienen. Achten Sie stets auf den Verkehr, um Unfälle zu vermeiden.

Während der Fahrt darf der Fahrer weder das Gerät noch sonstige Bildschirme betrachten. Anderenfalls kann es zu einem Unfall

kommen.

Zerlegen Sie die Haupteinheit nicht und bauen Sie sie nicht um. Andernfalls kann es zu Unfällen, Brand oder Stromschlägen

kommen.

Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser und keine Fremdkörper ins Innere der Haupteinheit gelangen. Andernfalls kann es zu

Rauchentwicklung, Brand oder Stromschlägen kommen.

Ersetzen Sie Sicherungen stets durch Sicherungen, die die gleiche Kapazität und die gleichen Merkmale aufweisen. Verwenden

Sie niemals eine Sicherung, deren Kapazität höher ist als die der ursprünglichen Sicherung. Wird eine falsche Sicherungsart

verwendet, kann dies zu Feuer und schwerwiegenden Beschädigungen führen.

Gelangen Wasser bzw. Fremdkörper ins Innere der Haupteinheit, können Rauch oder Gerüche entstehen. Stellen Sie in diesem

Fall die Nutzung der Haupteinheit ein und setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem Händler in Verbindung. Wenn Sie den Gebrauch der Einheit

unter diesen Bedingungen fortsetzen, kann es zu Unfällen, Brand oder Stromschlägen kommen.

Während der Fahrt darf der Fahrer die SIM-Karte nicht wechseln. Anderenfalls kann es zu einem Unfall kommen. Halten Sie das

Auto zuerst an einer sicheren Stelle an und wechseln Sie erst dann die SIM-Karte.

VOR DER VERWENDUNG:

Die Innentemperatur im Fahrzeug kann bei Hitze ansteigen. Warten Sie vor der Verwendung des Geräts, bis die Temperatur im

Fahrzeug gesunken ist. Andernfalls können Schäden auftreten.

Ziehen Sie zum Wechseln der SIM-Karte parallel zur Richtung, in der die Karte hineingesteckt wurde. Ziehen Sie nicht mit

Gewalt an der Karte. Andernfalls können die SIM-Karte bzw. die Haupteinheit beschädigt werden.

UMGANG MIT DER SIM-KARTE:

Setzen Sie die SIM-Karte nicht der direkten Sonneneinstrahlung aus.

Berühren Sie nicht die Anschlüsse der SIM-Karte, um Beschädigungen vorzubeugen.

ANWENDUNGSBEREICHE

Wi-Fi-Geräte (z. B. Smartphones, Tablet-Computer und Spielkonsolen) können mithilfe des Lexus Hotspot mit dem Internet

verbunden werden. Wie das jeweilige Wi-Fi-Gerät mit dem Internet verbunden wird, ist vom Betriebssystem abhängig.

Schritt 2: Verbindung aus Ihrem persönlichen Wi-Fi-Gerät (Laptop, Tablet-Computer, Smartphone) herstellen

Lesen Sie hierzu die Anleitung des betreenden Geräts.

! Hinweis: Der standardmäßige SSID hat das Format LEXUS-xxxxx (wobei xxxxx für Zahlen zwischen 0 und 9 steht). Das

Standard-Passwort lautet <Lexus123>.

Schritt 3: Sprache auswählen und Hilfe-Menü bei Bedarf aufrufen

Wählen Sie die gewünschte Sprache aus der Dropdown-Liste an der oberen rechten Ecke aus. Das dort oben beﬁndliche

Hilfe-Menü kann bei Bedarf in Anspruch genommen werden.

Schritt 4: Anmeldung auf der Webmanagement-Seite

 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Verbindung zwischen dem Lexus Hotspot und dem Wi-Fi-Gerät richtig funktioniert.

 Önen Sie den Browser und geben Sie „mylexuswiﬁ.home“ (oder 192.168.1.1) in die Adresszeile ein.

 Geben Sie zum Anmelden auf der Webmanagement-Seite Ihr Passwort ein.

 Ist die PIN-Veriﬁzierungsfunktion aktiviert, geben Sie die richtige PIN gemäß den Anweisungen ein. PIN/PUK-Codes erhalten

Sie zusammen mit der SIM-Karte von Ihrem Anbieter. Wenden Sie sich bei Fragen hierzu an Ihren Anbieter.

! Hinweis: Standard-Benutzername und -Passwort lauten <admin>.

Schritt 5: Schnellkonﬁguration

Die Schnellkonﬁguration – unter der Registerkarte „Einstellungen“ – ist ein Assistent, der Sie durch die Konﬁguration des Lexus

Hotspot führt. Die Konﬁguration besteht aus 6 Schritten.

! Hinweis: Proﬁlname und APN können automatisch eingetragen werden, wenn der Anbieter vom Lexus Hotspot erkannt

wird.

Andernfalls ﬁnden Sie den APN im Internet oder Sie erhalten ihn von Ihrem Anbieter.

! Hinweis: Verbindungsmodus

 Automatisch: Wenn Daten übertragen werden, verbindet sich der Lexus Hotspot automatisch mit dem Internet. Werden 10

Minuten lang keine Daten übertragen, unterbricht der Lexus Hotspot automatisch die Internetverbindung (Standardeinstellung).

 Manuell: Nach der Anmeldung auf der Webmanagement-Seite können Sie die Internetverbindung gemäß den Anweisungen

herstellen bzw. unterbrechen.

Roaming ist standardmäßig deaktiviert, um hohe Kosten zu vermeiden. Es wird empfohlen, diese Einstellung nicht zu ändern.

Aktivieren Sie nur dann die Funktion, wenn Sie die Kosten zuverlässig überwachen können.

! Hinweis: Der Standard-Schlüssel lautet <Lexus123>.

Schritt 6: Internetverbindung herstellen

Nach der erfolgreichen Herstellung einer Wi-Fi-Verbindung können Sie folgendermaßen eine Internetverbindung herstellen:

Klicken Sie auf <Verbinden> in der Mitte der Startseite (falls nicht automatisch geschehen).

! Hinweis: Wählen Sie den Internetverbindungsmodus, der Ihrem Vertrag entspricht. Beispiel: Wenn bei Ihnen nach

Verbindungszeit abgerechnet wird, empﬁehlt es sich, den manuellen Verbindungsmodus zu wählen. Weitere Informationen zu

Ihren Verbindungsgebühren erhalten Sie von Ihrem Anbieter.

! Hinweis:

 Sie können sich auf der Webmanagement-Seite anmelden und einen Internetverbindungsmodus auswählen.

 Bei aktiviertem Roaming können Sie die automatische Einwahl aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren. Ist die Funktion deaktiviert,

unterbricht der Lexus Hotspot die gerade hergestellte Internetverbindung, sobald das Gerät sich in einem Roaming-Netz

beﬁndet. Die Verbindung zum Netz muss dann manuell wiederhergestellt werden.

Werkseinstellungen wiederherstellen

Sollten Sie Konﬁgurationsparameter vergessen, können Sie die Werkseinstellungen des Lexus Hotspot wiederherstellen und

anschließend den Lexus Hotspot erneut konﬁgurieren.

Halten Sie hierfür die RESET-Taste mindestens 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt und lassen Sie sie dann los. Der Lexus Hotspot

unterbricht die Netzverbindung, woraufhin die Anzeigen erlöschen. Anschließend startet der Lexus Hotspot neu. Die

Werkseinstellungen sind damit wiederhergestellt.

Aktualisieren

Ist eine Aktualisierung erforderlich, werden Sie über die Webmanagement-Seite darüber benachrichtigt. Gehen Sie zur

Es kann vorkommen, dass die Verbindung zwischen Ihrem Gerät und dem Lexus Hotspot am Ende des

Aktualisierungsvorgangs unterbrochen wird, wenn ein anderes Wi-Fi-Gerät erkannt wird. Wählen Sie in diesem Fall den Lexus

inﬂuire sulla loro capacità di funzionare correttamente. La velocità di trasferimento dei dati dipende dalla condizione dell'antenna

GSM, dalla carta SIM del fornitore gestore telefonico, dalla rete della carta SIM volume di traco sulla rete della carta SIM, dalle

condizioni meteo, da quelle stradali, dalle condizioni del veicolo o altri fattori.

! Importante: Le impostazioni predeﬁnite prevedono il roaming disabilitato per evitare costi elevati. Consigliamo di

mantenere tale impostazione. Modiﬁcarlo su “Attivato” se si è certi di poter controllare i costi.

Durante la guida il conducente non deve guardare il dispositivo né altri schermi. Tale operazione potrebbe causare un incidente.

Non smontare o trasformare questo dispositivo. Tale operazione potrebbe causare un incidente, un incendio o scosse elettriche.

Evitare che acqua o oggetti estranei penetrino nelle parti interne di questo dispositivo. Tale operazione potrebbe causare fumo,

incendio o scosse elettriche.

Sostituire sempre i fusibili con altri di capacità e caratteristiche identiche. Non utilizzare mai un fusibile con capacità superiore

rispetto all’originale. L'utilizzo di un fusibile sbagliato potrebbe causare un incendio o danni gravi.

La presenza di oggetti all'interno del dispositivo, potrebbe dare luogo a fumo o strani odori. In tal caso, interrompere

La temperatura interna del veicolo può aumentare nei mesi più caldi dell’anno. Attendere che la temperatura interna del veicolo

diminuisca prima di utilizzare il dispositivo. Altrimenti potrebbero veriﬁcarsi danni.

Quando si rimuove la carta SIM dal dispositivo, rimuoverla in direzione parallela rispetto alla direzione di inserimento. Non

forzarne l'uscita durante la rimozione. Una rimozione impropria potrebbe causare danni alla carta SIM e/o al dispositivo.

MODO D'IMPIEGO DELLA CARTA SIM:

Non esporre la carta SIM alla luce solare diretta.

Non toccare i contatti della carta SIM; non danneggiare i contatti.

SCENARI DI APPLICAZIONE

I dispositivi Wi-Fi (come smartphone, tablet, e console giochi) possono accedere ad Internet attraverso Lexus Hotspot. La

procedura di connessione dipende dal sistema operativo del dispositivo Wi-Fi. Stabilire una connessione in base alle istruzioni

Attivare l'alimentazione del veicolo (girando la chiave), porre su

ON il pulsante di accensione del Lexus Hotspot e veriﬁcare che

gli indicatori a LED si accendano, indicando che il Lexus

Punto 2: Stabilire una connessione dal proprio dispositivo Wi-Fi (laptop, tablet, smartphone)

Punto 3: Selezionare la lingua e se necessario visualizzare il menu "Aiuto"

Selezionare la propria lingua dal menu a tendina nell'angolo in alto a destra. Anche il menu di Aiuto può essere un buon

supporto se necessario.

Punto 4: Registrazione nella pagina di gestione web

 Veriﬁcare che la connessione fra il Lexus Hotspot e il dispositivo Wi-Fi funzioni normalmente.

 Aprire il browser, e inserire mylexuswiﬁ.home (o 192.168.1.1) nella barra degli indirizzi.

 Inserire la password per entrare nella pagina di gestione web.

 Se la funzione di veriﬁca del PIN è abilitata, inserire il PIN corretto in base alle istruzioni. I codici PIN/PUK sono forniti dal

proprio operatore assieme alla carta SIM. Per i dettagli, si prega di consultare il proprio operatore.

! Importante: Lo username e la password predeﬁniti sono <admin>.

Punto 5: Installazione rapida

L'installazione rapida, nella gestione pagina di gestione delle impostazioni, è lo strumento che consente di conﬁgurare il

dispositivo Lexus Hotspot. Essa è suddivisa in 6 passaggi.

! Importante: Il Nome Proﬁlo e l'APN dovrebbero inserirsi automaticamente se il gestore telefonico è riconosciuto dal

Lexus Hotspot.

In caso contrario è possibile trovare l'APN in navigando su Internet o contattando il proprio operatore.

! Importante: Modalità di connessione

 Automatica: Una volta trasmessi i dati, il Lexus Hotspot si collega automaticamente a Internet. Come impostazione predeﬁnita,

se la trasmissione dei dati non è completata entro 10 minuti, il Lexus Hotspot si scollega automaticamente dalla connessione di

rete.

 Manuale: Dopo la registrazione nella pagina di gestione web, collegarsi o scollegarsi dalla rete in base alle istruzioni.

Le impostazioni predeﬁnite prevedono il roaming disabilitato per evitare costi elevati. Consigliamo di mantenere tale impostazione.

Modiﬁcarlo su “Attivato” se si è certi di poter controllare i costi.

Punto 6: Connessione a Internet

Dopo aver stabilito con successo la connessione Wi-Fi, è possibile collegarsi a Internet adottando i seguenti metodi: Fare clic su

<Connetti> al centro della Home page (se non viene eseguito automaticamente).

! Importante: Selezionare una modalità di connessione Internet appropriata in base al metodo di pagamento. Ad

esempio, se il costo della connessione è calcolato in base al tempo di collegamento alla rete, si raccomanda di selezionare la

modalità di connessione manuale. Per informazioni dettagliate sulle proprie tarie, contattare il proprio operatore.

! Importante:

 Per selezionare una modalità di connessione Internet, entrare nella pagina di gestione web.

 La funzione di connessione automatica in roaming può essere attivata o disattivata. Se questa funzione è disattivata, quando il

Lexus Hotspot entra in una rete in roaming, si scollega automaticamente dalla connessione Internet che è stata appena eseguita.

Sarà necessario quindi stabilire nuovamente la connessione manualmente.

Ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica

Nel caso in cui si dimentichino i parametri di conﬁgurazione, è possibile ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica del Lexus

Hotspot e quindi conﬁgurarlo nuovamente.

Tenere premuto il pulsante RESET per più di tre secondi, quindi lasciarlo. Il Lexus Hotspot si scollega dalla rete e gli indicatori si

spengono. Il Lexus Hotspot si riavvia con le impostazioni di fabbrica ripristinate.

Aggiornamenti

Un messaggio sulla pagina di gestione web informa se sono disponibili aggiornamenti del software. Selezionare Aggiorna e

seguire le istruzioni.

È possibile che il Vostro dispositivo perda la connessione al Lexus Hotspot alla ﬁne dell'aggiornamento se si raggiunge un altro

dispositivo Wi-Fi. In tal caso selezionare nuovamente Lexus Hotspot nella lista dei dispositivi Wi-Fi.

Substitua sempre os fusíveis daniﬁcados por fusíveis de capacidade e características idênticas. Nunca utilize um fusível com

uma capacidade mais elevada do que o fusível original. A utilização do fusível errado poderá causar um incêndio ou danos

graves.

Se objectos estranhos ou água entrar na unidade principal, poderão ser emitidos fumos ou um odor estranho. Se tal ocorrer,

deixe de utilizar a unidade principal e contacte o seu concessionário. A utilização da unidade principal nestas condições poderá

resultar em acidentes, incêndio ou choques.

O condutor não deve mudar o cartão SIM enquanto estiver a conduzir. Se o ﬁzer, poderá provocar um acidente. Deverá

primeiro parar e estacionar o veículo em lugar seguro e só depois retirar ou inserir um novo cartão SIM.

Passo 3: Seleccione o idioma e, se necessário, consulte o menu Ajuda.

Seleccione o seu próprio idioma na lista pendente no canto superior direito. O menu Ajuda por cima da mesma será

igualmente um bom auxiliar quando necessário.

Passo 4: Iniciar sessão na Página de gestão da Internet

 Assegure-se que a ligação entre o Lexus Hotspot e o dispositivo Wi-Fi está a funcionar normalmente.

 Abra o seu motor de busca, e introduza mylexuswiﬁ.home (ou 192.168.1.1) na caixa de endereço.

 Introduza a palavra-passe para iniciar a sessão na página de gestão da Internet.

 Se a função de veriﬁcação do PIN estiver activa, introduza o PIN correcto de acordo com as instruções. Os códigos PIN/PUK

são fornecidos pelo seu operador juntamente com o cartão SIM. Para detalhes, consulte o seu operador.

Passo 5: Conﬁguração rápida

A Conﬁguração rápida, no separador de gestão de Deﬁnições, é o assistente que o ajuda a conﬁgurar o dispositivo Lexus

Hotspot. Este está subdividido nos passos 1 a 6.

! Nota: O Nome do perﬁl e APN poderão estar já automaticamente preenchidos se o fornecedor for reconhecido pelo

Lexus Hotspot.

 Automático: Se forem transmitidos dados, o Lexus Hotspot ligar-se-á automaticamente à Internet. Por predeﬁnição, se não

forem transmitidos dados durante 10 minutos, o Lexus Hotspot irá desligar-se automaticamente da ligação à rede.

 Manual: Depois de iniciar a sessão na página de gestão da Internet, ligue-se ou desligue-se da rede de acordo com as

instruções.

O roaming está desactivado por deﬁnição para evitar custos avultados. Aconselhamos a mantê-lo neste modo. Mude apenas para

"activar" se tiver a certeza que consegue controlar os custos.

Passo 6: Ligue-se à Internet

Depois de estabelecer com sucesso uma ligação Wi-Fi, poderá ligar-se à Internet utilizando os seguintes métodos: clique em

<Ligar> no centro da página inicial (se não o ﬁzer automaticamente).

! Nota: Seleccione um modo adequado de ligação à Internet de acordo com o seu método de facturação. Por exemplo, se o

seu serviço de rede calcular a sua factura pelo tempo de ligação à rede, recomenda-se que seleccione o modo de ligação manual.

! Nota:

 Poderá iniciar a sessão na página de gestão da Internet e seleccionar um modo de ligação à Internet.

 Poderá activar e desactivar a marcação automática quando estiver na função roaming. Se esta função estiver desligada, quando

o Lexus Hotspot entrar na rede de roaming, desligar-se-á automaticamente da ligação à Internet que já tinha sido estabelecida.

Precisará de estabelecer a ligação a esta rede de modo manual.

Repor as deﬁnições de fábrica

Se se esquecer de algum dos parâmetros de conﬁguração, poderá repor o Lexus Hotspot nas deﬁnições de fábrica e de

seguida conﬁgurar novamente o Lexus Hotspot.

Mantenha pressionado o botão RESET durante mais do que três segundos, e de seguida solte-o.

O Lexus Hotspot desliga-se da rede e os indicadores desligam-se. O Lexus Hotspot reinicia e volta a estar com as suas

deﬁnições de fábrica.

Conociendo su Lexus Hotspot

¡Nota!: La función de itinerancia ("Roaming") está deshabilitada como opción predeterminada a ﬁn de evitar costes muy

elevados. Sugerimos mantenerla de esta manera. Cambie a "Activar" únicamente si está seguro de que puede controlar los costes.

Sustituya siempre los fusibles por otros fusibles de idéntica capacidad y características. No utilice nunca un fusible con una

Si entran objetos extraños o agua en la unidad principal, podrían causar humo o la emisión de olores extraños. Si esto ocurre,

El conductor no debe cambiar la tarjeta SIM mientras conduce. Si lo hace, podría provocar un accidente. Deténgase y

estacione el vehículo en un lugar seguro y luego proceda a retirar o insertar una nueva tarjeta SIM.

ANTES DEL USO:

La temperatura interior del vehículo puede aumentar si el tiempo es cálido. Espere a que disminuya la temperatura interior del

vehículo antes de utilizar este dispositivo. De lo contrario podría provocar daños.

Cuando retire la tarjeta SIM de la unidad principal, extráigala en dirección paralela a la dirección en la que la introdujo. No la

fuerce durante la extracción. La extracción inapropiada podría causar daños a la tarjeta SIM y/o a la unidad principal.

MANIPULACIÓN DE LA TARJETA SIM:

No exponga la tarjeta SIM a la luz solar directa.

No toque los contactos de la tarjeta SIM; no dañe los contactos.

Paso 6: Conéctese a Internet

Una vez establecida exitosamente una conexión Wi-Fi, puede conectarse a Internet utilizando los siguientes métodos: haga clic

en <Conectar> del centro de la página de inicio (si no se hace automáticamente).

¡Nota!: Seleccione un modo de conexión a internet apropiado de acuerdo con su método de facturación. Por ejemplo, si su

servicio de red calcula su factura por tiempo de conexión a la red, se recomienda que seleccione un modo de conexión manual.

¡Nota!:

 Puede iniciar sesión en la página web de gestión y seleccionar un modo de conexión a internet.

 Puede activar o desactivar el discado automático durante la función de itinerancia ("Roaming"). Si se apaga esta función, cuando

el Lexus Hotspot ingresa en una red de itinerancia, se desconecta automáticamente de la conexión a internet que ya se ha

establecido. Es necesario establecer manualmente esta conexión de red nuevamente.

Restauración a la conﬁguración de fábrica

Si se olvida de algunos parámetros de conﬁguración, puede restaurar el Lexus Hotspot a su conﬁguración de fábrica y

conﬁgurar el Lexus Hotspot nuevamente.

Presione y mantenga el botón RESET durante más de tres segundos y luego suéltelo. El Lexus Hotspot se desconecta de la

conexión de red y los indicadores se apagan. El Lexus Hotspot se reinicia y se restaura a su conﬁguración de fábrica.

Actualización
