If the DSC software product ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"or "SOFTWARE")is intended to
beaccompaniedbyHARDWARE,andis NOT accompaniedbynew HARDWARE, You may
not use, copy or install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT
includescomputersoftware, andmayincludeassociatedmedia, printedmaterials, and"online" or
electronicdocumentation.
Anysoftwareprovidedalongwith theSOFTWAREPRODUCT that isassociatedwitha sep-
arateenduser licenseagreementislicensedtoYouunder thetermsof thatlicenseagreement.
By installing, copying, downloading, storing, accessing or otherwise using the SOFTWARE
PRODUCT, You agree unconditionally to be bound by the terms of this EULA, even if this
EULAis deemed to be a modification of any previous arrangement or contract. If You do not
agreetothe termsof this EULA,DSC is unwillingtolicense theSOFTWARE PRODUCT to
You, andYouhavenoright touseit.
SOFTWAREPRODUCT LICENSE
TheSOFTWAREPRODUCT isprotectedby copyright lawsandinternationalcopyright treat-
ies, as wellas other intellectualproperty laws and treaties. TheSOFTWARE PRODUCT is
licensed, not sold.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE. ThisEULAgrantsYouthefollowingrights:
(a) SoftwareInstallationandUse- ForeachlicenseYouacquire, You mayhaveonly onecopy of
theSOFTWAREPRODUCT installed.
(b) Storage/NetworkUse-TheSOFTWAREPRODUCT maynot beinstalled, accessed,dis-
played, run, sharedorusedconcurrentlyon or fromdifferent computers,includinga workstation,
terminalor otherdigital electronic device("Device"). In otherwords, if Youhave several work-
stations, Youwillhave toacquirealicense for eachworkstationwhere theSOFTWAREwill be
used.
(c)Backup Copy - You maymake backup copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, but You
mayonly have onecopy per licenseinstalled at anygiven time. Youmay use theback up copy
solelyfor archivalpurposes. Exceptas expressly providedinthis EULA, Youmaynot otherwise
makecopies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, including the printed materials accompanying
theSOFTWARE.
2. DESCRIPTION OFOTHER RIGHTSAND LIMITATIONS
(a) Limitationson ReverseEngineering, Decompilation andDisassembly- Youmaynot reverse
engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the
extent that such activityis expresslypermittedby applicablelaw notwithstandingthis limitation.
Youmay not makeany changes ormodificationstotheSoftware, without thewritten permission
of anofficer of DSC. Youmaynot removeanyproprietarynotices, marksorlabelsfromtheSoft-
wareProduct. Youshallinstitute reasonablemeasurestoensure compliancewiththeterms and
conditionsof thisEULA.
(b) Separationof Components- TheSOFTWAREPRODUCT is licensedasasingle product.
Itscomponent partsmaynot beseparatedforuseonmorethanoneHARDWAREunit.
(c) Single INTEGRATED PRODUCT - If You acquired this SOFTWARE with
HARDWARE, then the SOFTWAREPRODUCT is licensed withthe HARDWARE as a
singleintegratedproduct. Inthiscase, theSOFTWAREPRODUCT mayonlybeusedwiththe
HARDWAREas set forthinthisEULA.
(d) Rental- Youmaynot rent, leaseorlendtheSOFTWAREPRODUCT. Youmaynot makeit
availabletoothersorpost it onaserver or website.
(e) SoftwareProduct Transfer-You maytransfer allofYourrights underthisEULAonlyas part
of apermanentsaleortransferoftheHARDWARE,providedYouretainnocopies, Youtransfer
allof theSOFTWARE PRODUCT (includingallcomponentparts,themediaandprintedmater-
ials, any upgrades andthisEULA),andprovidedtherecipient agreestothetermsof thisEULA. If
theSOFTWAREPRODUCT isan upgrade, anytransfer must also includeallpriorversions of
theSOFTWAREPRODUCT.
(f) Termination- Without prejudicetoanyother rights, DSC mayterminate thisEULAif You fail
tocomplywiththetermsandconditionsofthisEULA. Insuchevent, Youmust destroyall copies
of theSOFTWAREPRODUCT andallofitscomponentparts.
(g) Trademarks- ThisEULAdoes not grant Youanyrights inconnectionwithanytrademarks or
servicemarksofDSC oritssuppliers.
3. COPYRIGHT
Alltitleandintellectual propertyrights in andtotheSOFTWARE PRODUCT (includingbut not
limitedtoanyimages, photographs, andtextincorporated intotheSOFTWARE PRODUCT),
the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, are
owned by DSC or its suppliers. You may not copy the printed materials accompanying the
SOFTWAREPRODUCT. Alltitle and intellectualproperty rightsin and tothe content which
maybeaccessedthroughuseof theSOFTWAREPRODUCT arethepropertyof the respect-
ivecontent ownerandmay beprotectedbyapplicablecopyright orotherintellectualproperty laws
andtreaties. ThisEULAgrantsYounorightstousesuchcontent. Allrights not expresslygranted
underthisEULAarereservedbyDSC anditssuppliers.
4. EXPORT RESTRICTIONS
Youagree that You willnot export or reexport theSOFTWARE PRODUCT to any country,
person, orentitysubjecttoCanadianexport restrictions.
5. CHOICE OF LAW: This Software License Agreement is governed by the laws of the
ProvinceofOntario, Canada.
6. ARBITRATION
AlldisputesarisinginconnectionwiththisAgreement shallbedeterminedbyfinalandbindingarbit-
rationinaccordancewiththeArbitration Act, andthepartiesagree tobeboundbythe arbitrator's
decision. The place ofarbitration shall be Toronto, Canada, and thelanguage of the arbitration
shallbeEnglish.
7. LIMITED WARRANTY
(a) NO WARRANTY
DSC PROVIDES THE SOFTWARE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY. DSC DOES
NOT WARRANT THAT THESOFTWAREWILL MEETYOUR REQUIREMENTS OR
THAT OPERATION OF THESOFTWAREWILLBEUNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-
FREE.
(b) CHANGESIN OPERATINGENVIRONMENT
DSC shallnot be responsiblefor problems causedbychangesin theoperatingcharacteristics of
theHARDWARE, or for problems in the interaction of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT with
non-DSC-SOFTWAREorHARDWAREPRODUCTS.
(c)LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; WARRANTYREFLECTSALLOCATION OF RISK
The HSM2955 Audio Verification Module enables
you to listen and talk through your alarm panel
from any touch-tone phone.
Call-in Options
The HSM2955 must be set up by your installer to
use one of the following access methods:
Number of rings : The HSM2955 answers an
incoming call after a programmed number of
rings.
Double- call : The HSM2955 answers only after
receiving two calls within a programmed time.
This method is used if you have an answering
machine or a fax on your telephone line.
Calling In
1. Call the HSM2955 from an external touch-tone
phone.
2. If using the double-call method, let the phone
ring several times, hang up and then call again.
3. When the HSM2955 answers, you will hear
beeps to indicate initial access.
4. Enter your 4- or 6-digit user code (default:
1234/123456). After a valid code is accepted,
you will hear a distinctive set of tones that lets
you know your session is active.
To change your user access code, please refer to
your alarm system user manual.
5. Upon session start, the HSM2955 automatically
enters listen-only mode. The session lasts 2
minutes but may be extended. See the chart
below for all the options available to you
through your touch-tone phone.
6. Press an option key at any time during the ses-
sion to perform the available functions.

ing or removing covers may expose you to

top of the cabinet of this equipment. The cab-
inet as it is installed on the wall is not
designed to support any supplementary
weight.

SOFTWAREPRODUCT AND FIVE CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD$5.00). BECAUSE
SOMEJURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOWTHE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE
LIMITATION MAYNOT APPLYTOYOU.
(d) DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THISWARRANTYCONTAINSTHE ENTIREWARRANTYAND SHALLBEIN LIEU
OF ANY AND ALLOTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED

Aplug and jackused to connectthis equipment tothe premises wiringand telephone network

TheREN isusedtodeterminethenumberof devices that may beconnectedtoatelephone line.
ExcessiveRENs onatelephonelinemayresult inthedevicesnot ringinginresponsetoanincom-
ingcall. Inmostbutnotallareas, thesum of RENs shouldnot exceedfive(5.0). Tobecertain of
thenumberof devices that maybeconnected toa line, as determined bythe totalRENs, con-
tact thelocalTelephoneCompany. Forproducts approved afterJuly23, 2001,theREN for this
product ispart of theproduct identifierthat hastheformat

IncidenceofHarm
If thisequipment HSM2955causes harmtothetelephone network, thetelephonecompany will
notifyyouin advancethat temporary discontinuanceofservice mayberequired. But if advance
noticeis not practical, the Telephone Company willnotify the customer as soon as possible.
Also, youwill beadvised of yourright tofile acomplaint with theFCC if youbelieve it is neces-
sary.
ChangesinTelephoneCompanyEquipment orFacilities
The Telephone Company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations or pro-

Le module de vérification audio HSM2955 vous
permet d'écouter et de parler au moyen de la cen-
trale depuis un téléphone à fréquences vocales
quelconque.
Options d'appel
Le module HSM2955 doit être configuré par votre
installateur afin d'utiliser l'un des méthodes d'ac-
cès suivantes:
Nombre de sonneries : Le module HSM2955
répond à un appel entrant après un nombre des
sonneries programmé.
Double appel: Le module HSM2955 répond uni-
quement après avoir reçu deux appels dans un
intervalle programmé. Utilisez cette méthode si
vous disposez d'un répondeur ou d'un télé-
copieur sur votre ligne téléphonique.
Appel
1. Appelez le module HSM2955 depuis un télé-
phone externe à fréquences vocales.
2. Si vous mettez en œuvre la méthode du
double appel, laissez sonner la sonnerie plu-
sieurs fois, raccrochez et appelez de nouveau.
3. Lorsque le module HSM2955 répond, vous
entendrez des bips pour indiquer d'accès ini-
tial.
4. Saisissez votre code d'utilisateur à 4 ou
6chiffres (par défaut: 1234/123456). Une fois
le code valide accepté, vous entendrez une
série de tonalités distinctes qui vous indique
que votre session est active.
Pour modifier le code d'accès utilisateur, veuillez
consulter le manuel d'utilisation de votre système
d'alarme.
5. À session démarrée, le module HSM2955 entre
en mode de seule écoute. La session se
termine après 2minutes mais il est possible de
la prolonger. Voir le tableau ci-dessous pour
toutes les options disponibles sur votre télé-
phone à fréquences vocales.
6. Appuyez sur la touche d'une option à tout
moment au cours de la session pour exécuter

Deze“End-UserLicenseAgreement”(Licentieovereenkomst eindgebruiker of “EULA”)iseenjuri-
discheovereenkomst tussenu(het bedrijf, depersoonof deentiteit diedesoftwareenenigegere-
lateerdehardwareheeft verworven)en DigitalSecurityControls, eenafdeling vanTyco Safety
ProductsCanada Ltd. (“DSC”), defabrikant vande geïntegreerdebeveiligingssystemen en de
ontwikkelaar van de software en alle hieraan gerelateerde producten of componenten
(“HARDWARE”)dieuhebt verworven.
Indienhet DSC-softwareproduct (“SOFTWAREPRODUCT” of “SOFTWARE”)is bestemd
om te worden geleverdmet HARDWARE endit NIET samenmet nieuwe HARDWARE is
geleverd, mag u het SOFTWAREPRODUCT niet gebruiken, kopiëren of installeren. Het
SOFTWAREPRODUCT omvat computersoftware en kan geassocieerde media, gedrukte
materialenen“online”of elektronischedocumentatieomvatten.
Voorallesoftwarediesamenmet het SOFTWAREPRODUCT wordt geleverd, maardiegere-
lateerdisaaneenaparte licentieovereenkomst vooreindgebruikers, wordt ueenlicentieonder de
voorwaardenvandielicentieovereenkomst verleend.
Door het SOFTWAREPRODUCT te installeren,te kopiëren, tedownloaden, opte slaan, te
openenof anderszinste gebruiken, stemtu eronvoorwaardelijk mee ingebonden tezijn aan de
voorwaardenindezeovereenkomst, zelfsals dezeovereenkomst wordtbeschouwdalseen wij-
zigingvan enigeeerdere overeenkomstof contract. Indien uniet instemt met debepalingen van
dezeovereenkomst, isDSC niet bereidueenlicentievoor het SOFTWAREPRODUCT tever-
lenenenhebt ugeenrecht omhet tegebruiken.
LICENTIESOFTWAREPRODUCT
Het SOFTWAREPRODUCT wordt zowel beschermddoor auteursrechtwetgevingen inter-
nationaleauteursrechtverdragen als doorandere wetten en verdragenmet betrekking tot intel-
lectueel eigendom. Het SOFTWAREPRODUCT wordt niet verkocht, maar in licentie
gegeven.
1. VERLENEN VAN EEN LICENTIE. Dezeovereenkomst verleent udevolgenderechten:
(a) Installatie engebruik vande Software: voor elke licentiedie uaanschaft, magu slechts één
kopievanhet SOFTWAREPRODUCT installeren.
(b) Opslag/netwerkgebruik-het SOFTWAREPRODUCT magniet gelijktijdig opof vanaf ver-
schillende computers, zoals een werkstation, terminal of ander digitaal elektronisch apparaat
(“apparaat”)wordengeïnstalleerd, geopend, weergegeven, uitgevoerd, gedeeldofgebruikt. Met
anderewoorden: indienumeerderewerkstationshebt, moet uvooriederwerkstationwaarop de
SOFTWAREwordt gebruikteenlicentieaanschaffen.
(c)Back-upkopie- U magback-upkopieënvan het SOFTWAREPRODUCT maken, maar er
magop enig gegeven moment slechts één exemplaarper licentie zijn geïnstalleerd. U mag de
back-upkopieuitsluitendgebruikenvoor archiveringsdoeleinden.Behalvevoorzover dit expliciet in
deze overeenkomst wordt toegestaan, mag u verder geen kopieën maken van het
SOFTWAREPRODUCT, inclusief degedrukte materialendie met de SOFTWARE worden
geleverd.
2. BESCHRIJVINGVAN ANDERERECHTEN EN BEPERKINGEN
(a) Beperking op reverse- engineering, decompileren en disassembleren - U mag het
SOFTWAREPRODUCT niet onderwerpen aan reverse-engineering, decompileren en dis-
assembleren, tenzij en voor zover dit, niettegenstaande deze beperking, op grond van toe-
passelijkewetgevinguitdrukkelijkistoegestaan. U magzonderschriftelijketoestemmingvan een
functionarisvan DSC geenveranderingen of wijzigingenaan de Softwareaanbrengen. U mag
geenbeschermde mededelingen, merken of etikettenvan het Softwareproduct verwijderen. U
dientredelijkemaatregelen tenemenom tevoldoenaan debepalingenen voorwaardenvan deze
overeenkomst.
(b) Scheiding vanonderdelen -het SOFTWAREPRODUCT wordt inlicentie gegevenals een
enkelproduct. De componentenmogen niet wordengescheiden voor gebruikop meer dan één
HARDWARE-eenheid.
(c) Een enkel, GEÏNTEGREERD PRODUCT - als U deze SOFTWARE met
HARDWARE hebt verkregen, is het SOFTWAREPRODUCT in licentie gegeven met de
HARDWARE als een enkel geïntegreerd product. In dat geval mag het
SOFTWAREPRODUCT alleenwordengebruikt incombinatiemet deHARDWARE,zoals in
dezeovereenkomstisuiteengezet.
(d) Verhuur: U maghet SOFTWAREPRODUCT niet verhuren,in leasegeven of uitlenen. U
maghemnietbeschikbaar makenvooranderenof het opeenserverof websiteplaatsen.
(e) Overdracht van het Softwareproduct - U magal Uw rechten dievoortvloeien uit deze over-
eenkomst uitsluitend als onderdeel van een permanente verkoop of overdracht van de
HARDWARE overdragen, op voorwaarde dat u geen exemplaar behoudt, u het volledige
SOFTWAREPRODUCT overdraagt (inclusief alleonderdelen, demediaenhet gedruktemate-
riaal, alleopwaarderingenendezeovereenkomst), en opvoorwaardedat dedeontvanger met de
bepalingenvandezeovereenkomst instemt. Indienhet SOFTWAREPRODUCT een opwaar-
dering is, moet elke overdracht tevens alle vorige versies van het SOFTWAREPRODUCT
omvatten.
(f) Beëindiging - onverminderd alzijn overige rechtenmag DSC deze overeenkomst beëindigen
indienudebepalingenvandezeovereenkomstniet nakomt. Indat gevaldient ualleexemplaren en
allecomponentenvanhet SOFTWAREPRODUCT tevernietigen.
(g) Handelsmerken- aandeze Overeenkomst kunt U geenenkel recht ontlenen inverband met
enigmerkof dienstmerkvanDSC ofzijnleveranciers.
3. AUTEURSRECHT
Alle rechten met betrekking tot de titel en het intellectuele eigendom van het
SOFTWAREPRODUCT (inclusief, maar niet beperkttot alleafbeeldingen, foto's entekst die
in het SOFTWAREPRODUCT zijn opgenomen), alsmede de begeleidende gedrukte mate-
rialenenalle kopieënvan het SOFTWAREPRODUCT, berusten bijDSC of zijn leveranciers.
U mag debegeleidende afgedruktedocumentatie vanhet SOFTWAREPRODUCT niet kopi-
ëren. Allerechtenmet betrekkingtot detitel enhet intellectueleeigendomvandeinhoud, waartoe
toegangkanwordenverkregendoorhet gebruikvanhet SOFTWAREPRODUCT, berusten bij
dedesbetreffende eigenaar vande inhoud enkunnen zijn beschermddoor toepasselijk
Met de HSM2955 audioverificatiemodule kunt u
d.m.v. uw alarmpaneel vanaf iedere telefoon met
toontoetsen luisteren en spreken.
Opties voor inbellen
De HSM2955 moet door uw installateur worden
geïnstalleerd om één van de volgende toe-
gangsmethoden te kunnen gebruiken:
Aantal keren overgaan : De HSM2955 beant-
woordt een inkomend gesprek na een gepro-
grammeerd aantal keren overgaan.
Dubbelgesprek : De HSM2955 antwoord alleen
nadat binnen een geprogrammeerde tijdsduur
twee gesprekken zijn ontvangen. Gebruik deze
methode als er een antwoordapparaat of fax op
uw telefoonlijn is aangesloten.
Inbellen
1. Bel de HSM2955 vanaf een externe telefoon
met toontoetsen.
2. Als u de methode dubbelgesprek gebruikt, laat
dan de telefoon enkele keren overgaan, hang
op en bel dan opnieuw.
3. Als de HSM2955 antwoordt hoort u pieptonen
die de initiële toegang aangeven.
4. Voer uw 4- of 6-cijferige gebruikerscode in
(standaard: 1234/123456). Als een geldige
code is geaccepteerd hoort u een kenmerkende
set tonen die u laten weten dat uw sessie actief
is.
Raadpleeg de gebruiksaanwijzing van het alarm-
systeem om uw toegangscode als gebruiker te wij-
zigen.
5. Bij het starten van de sessie gaat de HSM2955
automatisch naar de modus alleen luisteren.
De sessie duurt 2 minuten, maar kan worden
verlengd. Zie onderstaande tabel voor alle
opties die u via uw telefoon met toontoetsen
beschikbaar hebt.
6. Druk tijdens de sessie op ieder willekeurig
moment een optietoets om de beschikbare func-
ties uit te voeren.

l Probeer dit product niet zelf te repareren. Het
openen of verwijderen van de behuizing kan
de gebruiker blootstellen aan gevaarlijke span-
ningen of andere risico's.
l Enig onderhoud dient uitsluitend te worden
uitgevoerd door onderhoudspersoneel.
l Plaats of laat geen object achter op de boven-
kant van de kast van dit apparaat. De kast,
zoals geïnstalleerd op de muur, is niet ont-
worpen om enig extra gewicht te dragen.
l Voer gebruikte batterijen af in over-
eenstemming met de plaatselijke regels en voor-
schriften.
WAARSCHUWING: Als er gebruik wordt
gemaakt van apparatuur die is aangesloten op
het lichtnet en/of aan het tele-
communicatienetwerk, dan zijn er algemene
veiligheidsaanwijzingen die altijd moeten
worden opgevolgd. Zie bovenstaande vei-
ligheidsaanwijzingen en bewaar ze om ze
later te kunnen raadplegen.
BELANGRIJK- LEESDIT ZORGVULDIG DOOR: Het auteursrecht van DSC Software
diemet of zonderproductenen componentenisaangeschaft, isgedeponeerden wordt onder de
volgendelicentievoorwaardenaangeschaft:
auteursrecht ofanderewettenenverdragenmet betrekkingtotintellectueeleigendoms.Deze
overeenkomst verleent u geenrecht dergelijke inhoudte gebruiken.Allerechten dieniet expli-
cietkrachtens dezeOvereenkomst wordenverleend, berustenbijDSC enzijnleveranciers.
4. EXPORTBEPERKINGEN
U stemtermeeinhetSOFTWAREPRODUCT naargeenenkel(e)land, persoonof entiteit,
waarvoor inCanadaexportbeperkingenvankracht zijn,teexporterenof herexporteren.
5. TOEPASSELIJKRECHT: Opdeze softwarelicentieovereenkomst is dewetgeving van
deprovincieOntario, Canadavantoepassing.
6. ARBITRAGE
Allegeschillen dievoortkomen uit of inverband met deze overeenkomst worden definitief en
bindendbepaalddoorarbitrageinovereenstemmingmetdeArbitrationAct, endepartijenstem-
menermeein gebondente zijnaan debeslissing vande arbiter. De plaats van dearbitrage is
Toronto, Canadaendearbitragevindt plaatsindeEngelsetaal.
7. BEPERKTEGARANTIE
(a) GEEN GARANTIE
DSC VERSTREKT DE SOFTWARE "IN DE HUIDIGE VORM" ZONDER
GARANTIE. DSC GARANDEERT NIET DAT DE SOFTWARE VOLDOET AAN
UW EISEN OF DAT DE SOFTWARE ZONDER ONDERBREKINGEN OF
FOUTEN ZALWERKEN.
(b) WIJZIGINGEN IN GEBRUIKSOMGEVING
DSC isniet verantwoordelijk voorproblemendie zijnontstaanalsgevolg vanwijzigingenin de
gebruikskenmerkenvande HARDWARE, of voorproblemenmet dewisselwerking tussen
het SOFTWAREPRODUCT enSOFTWARE of HARDWAREPRODUCTEN die niet
afkomstigzijnvanDSC.
(c) BEPERKING VAN AANSPRAKELIJKHEID; GARANTIE REFLECTEERT DE
ALLOCATIEVAN RISICO
IN ALLE GEVALLEN, ALS ENIGE WETGEVING GARANTIES OF
VOORWAARDEN IMPLICEERT DIE NIET ZIJN OPGENOMEN IN DEZE
LICENTIEOVEREENKOMST, ZAL DE VOLLEDIGE AANSPRAKELIJKHEID VAN
DSC ONDER ENIGE BEPALING IN DEZE LICENTIEOVEREENKOMST
BEPERKT ZIJN TOT HET HOOGSTED BEDRAG VAN HET FEITELIJKDOOR U
BETAALDEBEDRAGVOOR DELICENTIEVAN DIT SOFTWAREPRODUCT OF
VIJF CANADESE DOLLARS (CAD$5,00). AANGEZIEN BEPAALDE
RECHTSGEBIEDEN GEEN UITSLUITING OF BEPERKING VAN
AANSPRAKELIJKHEID VOOR GEVOLGSCHADE OF INCIDENTELE SCHADE
TOESTAAN, KAN HET ZIJN DATBOVENSTAANDE BEPERKING NIETVOOR U
VAN TOEPASSING IS.
(d) AFWIJZING VAN GARANTIES
DEZE GARANTIE BEVAT DE VOLLEDIGE GARANTIE EN DIENT TER

IlContrattodi Licenzacon l'Utentefinale(“EULA”) èun contrattolegalefra l'Utente(la società,
singoloo entità, che haacquisito ilsoftware equalsiasi hardwarecorrelato) ela Digital Security
Controls, divisione di Tyco Safety Products Canada Ltd. (“DSC”), il produttore dei sistemi
integratidi sicurezza e sviluppatoredel software e diqualsiasi prodotto o componente correlati
(“HARDWARE”)acquistatidall'Utente.
Se il prodotto software DSC (“PRODOTTO SOFTWARE” o “SOFTWARE”) è stato
concepito per essere accluso all'HARDWARE e NON è accluso a nuovo HARDWARE,
l’Utentenonpuò utilizzare, copiareo installareilPRODOTTO SOFTWARE.Il PRODOTTO
SOFTWARE include il software del computer e gli eventuali supporti, materiali stampati e
documentazione“online”oelettronicaassociati.
Qualsiasi software fornito con il PRODOTTO SOFTWARE e associato a un Contratto di
Licenzaconl'Utentefinaleseparatoèconcessoinlicenzaall'Utenteconformementeaitermini del
suddettoContratto.
Installando, copiando, scaricando, archiviando, accedendo a o altrimenti utilizzando il
PRODOTTO SOFTWARE, l'Utente accetta incondizionatamente di essere vincolato dalle
condizioni del presente Contratto di Licenza, anche se questo Contratto di Licenza è da
considerarsi come modifica di qualsiasi precedente accordo o contratto. Qualora l'Utente non
accetti i termini del presente Contratto di Licenza, la DSC non concederà la licenza per il
PRODOTTOSOFTWARE, impedendonecosì l'utilizzodapartedell'Utente.
LICENZAPER ILPRODOTTO SOFTWARE
IlPRODOTTO SOFTWAREè protettoda leggie datrattati internazionalisul copyright, oltre
che da altre leggi e trattati sulla proprietà intellettuale. Il PRODOTTO SOFTWARE viene
concessoinlicenza, nonvenduto.
1. CONCESSIONE DI LICENZA. Il presente Contratto di Licenza concede all'Utente i
seguentidiritti:
(a) InstallazioneeutilizzoSoftware -Perognilicenzaacquisita, l’Utentepuòavereunasola copia
delPRODOTTOSOFTWAREinstallato.
(b) Memorizzazione/Usoinrete- L’Utente nonpuòinstallare, accederea,visualizzare, eseguire,
condivideree utilizzare ilPRODOTTO SOFTWARE inconcomitanza su eda altri computer,
inclusestazioni di lavoro, terminali e altrodispositivo elettronico digitale (“Dispositivo”). In altre
parole, se l'Utente dispone di varie stazioni di lavoro, dovrà acquisire una licenza per ciascuna
stazionedilavorosucuiilSOFTWAREvieneutilizzato.
(c)Copiadi backup-L'Utente puòcrearecopie dibackupdel PRODOTTO SOFTWARE, ma
puòpossederesolounacopiaperlicenzainstallatainqualsiasimomento.L'Utentepuòutilizzare la
copia di backup solo per l'archiviazione. Ad eccezione di quanto espressamente stabilito nel
presente Contratto di Licenza, l’Utente non può altrimenti copiare il PRODOTTO
SOFTWARE, inclusiimaterialistampatiacclusialSOFTWARE.
2. DESCRIZIONEDI ALTI DIRITTI ERESTRIZIONI
(a) Restrizioni sulla decodificazione, decompilazione e disassemblaggio - L’Utente non può
decodificare, decompilare o disassemblare il PRODOTTO SOFTWARE, salvo quanto
espressamenteconsentito dallalegge applicabile, nonostantetale limitazione. L’Utente non può
effettuarecambiamenti o modificheal Software senza l’autorizzazionescritta di un funzionario
dellaDSC. L'Utente nonpuòeliminare qualsiasinotarelativa aproprietà, marchio oetichetta dal
Prodotto Software. L’Utente deve adottare misure ragionevoli per garantire la conformità ai
terminieallecondizionidelpresenteContrattodiLicenza.
(b) Separazione dei Componenti - Il PRODOTTO SOFTWARE è concesso in licenza quale
singolo prodotto. Le sue parti componenti non possono essere separate per l’utilizzo su più di
un’unitàHARDWARE.
(c)Singolo PRODOTTO INTEGRATO - Sel'Utente ha acquisitoquesto SOFTWARE con
HARDWARE, allorailPRODOTTO SOFTWARE èconcessoinlicenzacon l'HARDWARE
come singolo prodotto integrato. In questo caso, il PRODOTTO SOFTWARE può essere
utilizzatosoloconl'HARDWAREsecondoquantoèstabilitonelpresenteContrattodiLicenza.
(d) Locazione- L'Utentenon puòconcedere inlocazione, inleasing oin prestitoil PRODOTTO
SOFTWARE. L'UtentenonpuòrenderlodisponibileadaltrioriportarlosuunserverositoWeb.
(e) Trasferimento delProdotto Software -L’Utente può trasferiretutti i suoidiritti concessi dal
presente Contratto di Licenza solo come parte di una vendita permanente o trasferimento
dell’HARDWARE, a condizione che non trattenga alcuna copia, che trasferisca tutto il
PRODOTTO SOFTWARE (comprese tutte le parti componenti, i supporti, i materiali
stampati, qualsiasiaggiornamentoeil presenteContrattodiLicenza)e cheildestinatarioaccetti i
termini del presente Contratto di Licenza. Se il PRODOTTO SOFTWARE è un
aggiornamento, qualsiasi trasferimentodeve comprendereanche tuttele versioniprecedenti del
PRODOTTOSOFTWARE.
(f) Risoluzione - La DSC può risolvere il presente Contratto di Licenza, senza per questo
pregiudicare altri suoi diritti, se l’Utente non si attiene ai termini e alle condizioni del presente
ContrattodiLicenza. In talcaso, l'Utenteè tenutoadistruggeretutte lecopiedel PRODOTTO
SOFTWAREetuttelesueparticomponenti.
(g) Marchidifabbrica-Il presenteContrattodiLicenzanon concedeall’Utentedirittiinrelazione a
qualsiasimarchiodifabbricaodiservizidellaDSC odeisuoifornitori.
3. COPYRIGHT
IltitoloeidirittidiproprietàintellettualerelativialPRODOTTO SOFTWARE(compresi, ma non
limitatamentea, qualsiasiimmagine, fotografiaetestointegratinlPRODOTTO SOFTWARE),

conversazione e ascolto attraverso il proprio
pannello di allarme da qualsiasi telefono touch-
tone.
Opzioni Chiamata in arrivo
Il modulo HSM2955 deve essere configurato dal
proprio installatore per utilizzare uno dei seguenti
metodi di accesso:
Numero di squilli : Il modulo HSM2955
risponde alle chiamate in arrivo dopo un numero
programmato di squilli.
Chiamata doppia: Il modulo HSM2955 risponde
solo dopo aver ricevuto due chiamate entro un
tempo programmato. Utilizzare questo modulo se
si ha una segreteria telefonica o un fax sulla
propria linea telefonica.
Chiamata in arrivo
1. Chiamare il modulo HSM2955 da un telefono
touch-tone esterno.
2. Se si sta utilizzando un metodo di chiamata
doppia, far squillare il telefono più volte,
agganciare e quindi richiamare.
3. Quando il modulo HSM2955 risponde, si
sentiranno dei bip che indicano l'accesso
iniziale.
4. Immettere il proprio codice a 4 o 6 cifre
(predefinito: 1234/123456). Dopo l'accettazione
di un codice valido, si sentirà un set distinto
di suoni che permette di capire che la sessione
è attiva.
Per modificare il proprio codice di accesso utente,
fare riferimento al manuale utente del sistema di
allarme.
5. All'avvio della sessione, HSM2955 accede
automaticamente alla modalità di solo ascolto.
La sessione dura 2 minuti, ma può essere
estesa. Si veda la tabella seguente per tutte le
opzioni disponibili attraverso il proprio
telefono touch-tone.
6. Premere in qualsiasi momento un tasto opzione
durante la sessione per eseguire le funzioni
disponibili.

PRODOTTOSOFTWARE. Iltitoloeidirittidiproprietàintellettualerelativiaicontenuti, acui
èpossibileaccedere attraversol'utilizzo delPRODOTTO SOFTWARE, sonoproprietà del
relativoproprietario deicontenuti epossono essereprotetti dacopyright applicabilee da altre
leggi e trattati sulla proprietà intellettuale. Il presente Contratto di Licenza non concede
all'Utentei diritti per l'utilizzo di tali contenuti. Tutti i diritti non espressamente concessi dal
presenteContrattodiLicenzasonoriservatiallaDSC eaisuoifornitori.
4. LIMITAZIONI DI ESPORTAZIONE
L'Utenteaccetta dinon esportareo riesportareil PRODOTTO SOFTWARE inaltri paesi,
personeoentitàsoggettearestrizioniall'esportazioneprevistedalCanada.
5. DIRITTO APPLICABILE: IlpresenteContrattodiLicenzadelsoftwareèdisciplinatodalle
leggidellaProvinciadell’Ontario, Canada.
6. ARBITRATO
Tullelecontroversiechedovesseroinsorgere inrelazionealpresentecontrattosaranno risolte
mediantearbitrato finalee vincolantesecondo il Regolamentoarbitrale. Leparti accettano di
vincolarsi alla decisione dell’arbitro. La sede dell’arbitrato sarà Toronto, Canada, e la lingua
l’inglese.
7. GARANZIALIMITATA
(a) NESSUNAGARANZIA
LA DSC FORNISCE IL SOFTWARE“SENZA GARANZIE ACCESSORIE” OSSIA
SENZA GARANZIA DI ALCUN TIPO. LA DSC NON GARANTISCE CHE IL
SOFTWARE SODDISFERÀ I REQUISITI DELL’UTENTE O CHE IL
FUNZIONAMENTO DEL SOFTWARE SARÀ ININTERROTTO O PRIVO DI
ERRORI.
(b) CAMBIAMENTI DELL'AMBIENTE OPERATIVO
La DSC non sarà responsabile per problemi causati da modifiche delle caratteristiche
operative dell'HARDWARE o per problemi legati all'interazione del PRODOTTO
SOFTWARE con SOFTWARE o con PRODOTTI HARDWARE che non sono di
proprietàdiDSC.
(c) LIMITAZIONE DI RESPONSABILITÀ; LA GARANZIA RIMANDA
ALL'ALLOCAZIONEDEI RISCHI
IN QUALSIASI CIRCOSTANZA, SE QUALSIASI STATUTO COMPORTA
GARANZIEOCONDIZIONI NON ESPRESSENELPRESENTECONTRATTO DI
LICENZA, LA RESPONSABILITÀ COMPLESSIVA DELLA DSC IN BASE ALLE
DISPOSIZIONI DEL PRESENTE CONTRATTO DI LICENZA SARÀ LIMITATA
ALL'AMMONATREEFFETTIVAMENTEPAGATO DALL'UTENTEPER LALICENZA
D'USO DEL PRODOTTO SOFTWARE PIÙ CINQUE DOLLARI CANADESI
(CAD$5.00). POICHÈ ALCUNE GIURISDIZIONI NON AMMETTONO
L’ESCLUSIONE O LA LIMITAZIONE DI RESPONSABILITÀ PER DANNI
CONSEQUENZIALI O INCIDENTALI, LA LIMITAZIONE DI CUI SOPRA
POTREBBENON TROVAREAPPLICAZIOENEI CONFRONTI DELL’UTENTE.
(d) ESCLUSIONE DI GARANZIE
LA PRESENTE GARANZIA CONTIENE L'INTERA GARANZIA E SOSTITUIRÀ
OGNI ALTRA GARANZIA, ESPRESSA O IMPLICITA (COMPRESE TUTTE LE
GARANZIE IMPLICITE DI COMMERCIABILITÀ O IDONEITÀ PER SCOPI
PARTICOLARI), ETUTTI GLI ALTRI OBBLIGHI ORESPONSABILITÀDA PARTE
DELLA DSC. LA DSC NON FORNISCE ALTRE GARANZIE. LA DSC NON SI
ASSUME ULTERIORI RESPONSABILITÀ NÉ AUTORIZZA TERZI AD AGIRE
PER CONTO SUO PER MODIFICAREO CAMBIARELA PRESENTE GRANZIA,
NÉAD ASSUMERSI ALCUNA ULTERIOREGARANZIA O RESPONSABILITÀ IN
SUA VECERELATIVAMENTEAQUESTO PRODOTTOSOFTWARE.
(e) RIMEDIO ESCLUSIVO ELIMITAZIONEDELLAGARANZIA
IN NESSUN CASO LADSC SARÀRESPONSABILE NEI CONFRONTI DI TERZI
PER ALCUN DANNO SPECIALE, INCIDENTALE, CONSEQUENZIALE O
INDIRETTO BASATO SU VIOLAZIONE DI GARANZIE PRODOTTI,
INADEMPIENZA CONTRATTUALE, NEGLIGENZA, RESPONSABILITÀ
INCONDIZIONATA O QUALSIASI ALTRA TEORIA LEGALE. TALI DANNI
INCLUDONO, MA NON MA NON SONO LIMITATI A, PERDITA DI PROFITTI,
PERDITA DEL PRODOTTO SOFTWARE O DI QUALSIASI ATTREZZATURA
ACCLUSA, COSTO DEL CAPITALE, COSTO ATTREZZATURE SOSTITUTIVE,
MEZZI O SERVIZI, TEMPI DI FERMO, TEMPO DEGLI ACQUIRENTI,
RIVENDICAZIONI DI TERZI, CLIENTI INCLUSI, E DANNEGGIAMENTI ALLA
PROPRIETÀ.
AVVERTENZA: la DSC consiglia di testare regolarmente l’intero sistema. Tuttavia,

funzioni come previsto a causa di, ma non limitatamente a, manomissione indebita o
