This guide briefly describes the appearance of the CAR WiFi and the
procedures for using the CAR WiFi. To access CAR WiFi 's web
management page, use a connected device's browser and visit
http://192.168.1.1. The default user name and password is admin.
Getting to Know Your CAR WiFi
The following figure shows the CAR
WiFi. It is provided only for your
reference. The actual product may be
different.

Wi-Fi indicator
Steady green: A Wi-Fi connection is set up.
Off: The Wi-Fi function is turned off or fails, or the CAR WiFi has
been removed.
SMS indicator
Steady green: There are unread messages in your inbox.
Blinking green once every 2s: The message storage is full.
Off: The CAR WiFi is powered off, there are no unread messages, or
the message storage is not full.
2G/3G/LTE indicator
Blinking green twice every 2s: The CAR WiFi is powered on.
Blinking green once every 0.2s: The software of the CAR WiFi is

being upgraded.
Blinking green once every 2s: The CAR WiFi is registered with a 2G
network.
Steady green: The CAR WiFi is connected to a 2G network .
Blinking blue once every 2s: The CAR WiFi is registered with a 3G
network.
Steady blue: The CAR WiFi is connected to a 3G network.
Blinking cyan once every 2s: The CAR WiFi is registered with a LTE
network.
Steady cyan: The CAR WiFi is connected to a 3G+/LTE network.
Off: The CAR WiFi is removed.

Reset button
Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds to restore all the settings
to factory defaults.
Installing the SIM Card
1. Slide the cover off.
2. Insert the SIM card into the card slot.
3. Slide the cover back onto the CAR WiFi until it snaps into place.

Inserting the microSD Card (optional)
Insert the microSD card into the CAR WiFi, as shown in the following
figure.
Note:
Do not remove the microSD or SIM card when the card is in use.
Otherwise, the card as well as your CAR WiFi may get damaged
and the data stored on the card may be corrupted.
Do not use any SIM card that is not
standard or is incompatible with the CAR

WiFi. Otherwise, the card as well as your CAR WiFi may get
damaged and the data stored on the card may be corrupted.
Connecting to Your CAR WiFi
1. Connect the CAR WiFi into the
in-car charger, and then connect
the in-car charger into your car’s
power socket.
2. Wait for the Wi-Fi indicator of the
CAR WiFi to turn on.
3. Search for wireless connections
on your device.
4. Select SSID of your CAR WiFi and
enter the Wi-Fi key.

Note:
Only use in-car charger compatible with the CAR WiFi and provided
by a designated manufacturer (in-car charger: HWCC02 ).
Wi-Fi devices, such as an iPhone, iPod touch, PS3 and NDSi, can all
access the Internet through the CAR WiFi. For specific operations,
refer to the Wi-Fi device's user manual.
If a security mechanism is enabled for the wireless network
connection, enter the correct Wi-Fi
key.
The SSID and the Wi-Fi key are
printed on the CAR WiFi, as shown
in the following figure.

Bouton Reset (Réinitialiser)
Appuyez pendant cinq secondes sur le bouton Reset (Réinitialiser) pour
restaurer tous les paramètres d'usine par défaut.

Insérer la carte microSD (facultatif)

Remarque :
Ne retirez pas la carte microSD ou la carte SIM lorsque la carte est

Se connecter à votre CAR
WiFi

Connectez le CAR WiFi au
chargeur de voiture, puis
connectez ce dernier à la prise
électrique de votre véhicule.

Attendez que le voyant Wi-Fi du
CAR WiFi s'allume.

Recherchez des connexions sans fil sur votre appareil.

Sélectionnez le SSID de votre CAR WiFi et entrez la clé Wi-Fi.
Remarque :
Utilisez exclusivement un chargeur de voiture compatible avec le CAR
WiFi et fourni par un fabricant désigné (chargeur de voiture :
HWCC02).
Les appareils Wi-Fi (iPhone, iPod Touch, PS3 et NDSi) peuvent tous
accéder à Internet via le CAR WiFi. Pour une utilisation spécifique,
reportez-vous au manuel de l'utilisateur de l'appareil Wi-Fi.
Si un mécanisme de sécurité est activé

Reset-Taste
Drücken und halten Sie die Reset-Taste für 5 Sekunden, um alle

Einsetzen der SIM-Karte
1. Schieben Sie die Abdeckung wie abgebildet zurück.
2. Setzen Sie die SIM-Karte in den Steckplatz ein.
3. Schieben Sie die Abdeckung wieder auf das CAR WiFi; sie muss
einrasten.

Einsetzen der microSD-Karte (optional)
Setzen Sie die microSD-Karte in das CAR WiFi ein, wie in der folgenden
Abbildung dargestellt.
Hinweis:
Entfernen Sie die microSD- oder die SIM-Karte nicht, wenn auf die
Karte zugegriffen wird. Dies kann zur
Beschädigung Ihrer Karte, Ihres CAR
WiFi, sowie der auf der Karte
gespeicherten Daten führen.

Verwenden Sie nur Standard-SIM-Karten oder solche, die mit dem

Anschluss des CAR WiFi
1. Verbinden Sie das CAR WiFi mit
dem Kfz-Ladegerät und schließen
Sie das Kfz-Ladegerät an den
Zigarettenanzünder Ihres Autos
an.
2. Warten Sie, bis die
WLAN-Anzeige des CAR WiFi
leuchtet.

3. Suchen Sie nach Drahtlosverbindungen auf Ihrem Gerät.
4. Wählen Sie die SSID Ihres CAR WiFi und geben Sie den
WLAN-Schlüssel ein.
Hinweis:
Verwenden Sie nur Kfz-Ladegeräte, die mit dem CAR WiFi
kompatibel sind und von einem empfohlenen Hersteller bezogen
wurden (Kfz-Ladegerät: HWCC02).
WLAN-Geräte wie iPhone, iPod Touch, PS3 und NDSi können
ebenfalls über das CAR WiFi auf das Internet zugreifen.
Informationen zur genauen Vorgehensweise finden Sie in der
Bedienungsanleitung des jeweiligen WLAN-Gerätes.
Falls ein Sicherheitsmechanismus für die drahtlose
Netzwerkverbindung aktiviert ist, geben Sie den korrekten

Botão Reiniciar
Prima continuamente o botão Reiniciar durante 5 segundos para
restaurar as predefinições de fábrica.

1. Deslize a tampa para a retirar.
2. Insira o cartão SIM na entrada de cartões.
3. Volte a deslizar a tampa para a respectiva posição no CAR WiFi até
encaixar.

Power adapter safety
