GENERALITÀ
Il Milk Island è un dispositivo studiato e creato appositamente per emulsionare il latte e per riscaldare l’acqua,
in modo semplice e veloce. Il Milk Island può essere utilizzato solo per un uso domestico; non è indicato per un
funzionamento continuo di tipo professionale.
Attenzione. Non si assumono responsabilità per eventuali danni in caso di:
• Impiego errato e non conforme agli scopi previsti;
• Riparazioni non eseguite presso centri d’assistenza autorizzati;
• Manomissione di qualsiasi componente della macchina;
• Impiego di pezzi di ricambio e accessori non originali;
• Stoccaggio in locali al di sotto di 15°C e mancata manutenzione;
• Riscaldamento di tè o tisane eseguito direttamente nella caraffa.
In questi casi viene a decadere la garanzia.

INSTALLAZIONE MILK ISLAND
Attenzione: per collegare il Milk Island si deve posizionare su di un lato la macchina da caffè;
prima d’eseguire questa operazione rimuovere il serbatoio dell'acqua, la vasca raccogli gocce,
il contenitore raccogli fondi e vuotare il contenitore caffè in grani della macchina da caffè. Spegnere la
macchina da caffè e staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.

Estrarre dalla confezione il Milk
Island; assicurarsi che la caraffa
sia integra. Vi consigliamo di
conservare l’imballo.
Sfi lare il coperchio e conservar-
lo con cura.
Dopo aver vuotato i contenitori, ada-
giare delicatamente la macchina su
di un lato. Rimuovere il coperchio di
protezione. Con l’aiuto di una mone-
ta, sbloccare il coperchio ruotandolo
come mostrato in fi gura.

Premere nella direzione indicata
il pulsante di aggancio;
Quando la base è stata inserita
a fondo rilasciare il tasto.
Verifi care che la base sia
collegata in modo stabile con la
macchina.
Mantenendo premuto il pulsante,
agganciare il Milk Island nella
macchina da caffè facendo com-
baciare i relativi connettori.

A questo punto riposizionare
correttamente la macchina
da caffè e procedere ad
un ripristino di tutti i suoi
contenitori.
Inserire la caraffa sulla base.
Verifi care il colore del led sulla
base. Quando il led è di colore
verde, il Milk Island è inserito
correttamente ed è pronto per
essere utilizzato.
Accendendo la caffettiera
viene eseguita la confi gu-
razione automatica del Milk
Island.

USO MILK ISLAND
Attenzione: prima d’utilizzare il Milk Island si deve procedere alla pulizia della caraffa e degli altri
componenti. Verifi care che tutti i componenti siano installati correttamente. Il vetro della caraffa
può raggiungere temperature elevate: pericolo di scottature! Utilizzare il Milk Island solo con acqua e
latte. E' vietato utilizzarlo con altri liquidi di qualsiasi natura o composizione chimica.
Nota importante: la quantità di latte nella caraffa non deve essere inferiore al livello minimo
“MIN” e non deve mai superare il livello massimo “MAX”. Dopo aver utilizzato il Milk Island
procedere ad un’accurata pulizia di tutti i suoi componenti.
Per garantire un miglior risultato nella preparazione del cappuccino, consigliamo d'utilizzare latte
parzialmente scremato e freddo (0-8°C)
Riempire la caraffa con la quan-
tità di latte desiderato.
Premere e ruotare per posizionare
la caraffa sulla base del Milk Island.
Verifi care che il led posto sulla base
sia di colore verde.
Dopo aver emulsionato il latte,
prelevare la caraffa dall’impugna-
tura.
Dopo aver eseguito dei leggeri
movimenti circolari, versare il
latte nella tazza.
Posizionare la tazza con il latte
montato sotto all'erogatore.
Erogare il caffè nella tazza (vedi
manuale istruzione della caffettiera).

PULIZIA
PULIZIA MILK ISLAND
Attenzione: non immergere la base del Milk Island in alcun liquido. La manutenzione e la pulizia
della base possono essere effettuate soltanto quando la macchina è fredda e scollegata dalla rete
elettrica. Tutti i componenti descritti in questo paragrafo possono essere lavati in una lavastoviglie per
uso domestico.
Non utilizzare oggetti acuminati o prodotti chimici aggressivi (solventi) per la pulizia. Per la pulizia della
base utilizzare un panno morbido. Non asciugare il Milk Island e/o i suoi componenti utilizzando un
forno a microonde e/o un forno convenzionale.

Pulire il raccordo con un panno umido. Per eseguire una pulizia più accurata, riempire la caraffa pulita di acqua ed
erogare vapore (seguire le istruzioni dal punto 2 al punto 6 di pag.5). La caraffa ed i componenti presenti nel gruppo
emulsionatore possono essere lavati con una lavastoviglie per uso domestico.
Rimontare il gruppo emulsione ed
inserirlo sulla caraffa.
Attenzione: il gruppo
emulsione deve essere inserito
correttamente nel tubo presente
all’interno della caraffa.

Attenzione: per scollegare il Milk Island si deve posizionare su di un lato la macchina da caffè;
prima d’eseguire questa operazione rimuovere il serbatoio dell'acqua, la vasca raccogli gocce, il
contenitore raccogli fondi e vuotare il contenitore caffè in grani della macchina da caffè.
Spegnere la macchina da caffè e staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente

pulsante, estrarre la base dalla
macchina da caffè.
Dopo aver svuotato i conteni-
tori della macchina adagiare
delicatamente la macchina su
di un lato.
Inserire il coperchio di protezio-
ne nella sua sede.
Successivamente lavare tutti i componenti del Milk Island e riporli in un luogo sicuro per una successiva
installazione; si consiglia d’utilizzare l’imballo originale.

RISOLUZIONE PROBLEMI - NORME DI SICUREZZA

La macchina non monta il latte. Latte con tenore di grasso non adatto. Cambiare il tipo di latte utilizzato.
La valvola posta nel coperchio è sporca Lavare la valvola.
La spia nella base del Milk Island è

un centro assistenza.
Mai mettere a contatto dell’acqua le parti sotto tensione: pericolo di cortocircuito! Il vapore surriscaldato e l’ac-
qua calda possono provocare scottature!
DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Il Milk Island è previsto esclusivamente per l’impiego domestico.
Il Milk Island non può essere utilizzato singolarmente ma deve essere collegato ad una macchina da caffè predisposta.
È vietato apportare modifi che tecniche e ogni impiego illecito, a causa dei rischi che essi comportano!
Il Milk Island e la macchina per caffè devono essere utilizzati solo da adulti.
ALIMENTAZIONE DI CORRENTE
Il Milk Island viene alimentato in bassa tensione dalla macchina da caffè alla quale è collegato tramite lo speciale
connettore elettro-idraulico.
CONNETTORE D’ALIMENTAZIONE (ELETTRO-IDRAULICO)
Mai usare il Milk Island se il connettore elettro-idraulico d’alimentazione è difettoso.
Se il connettore elettro-idraulico è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito dal produttore o dal suo servizio assistenza
clienti.
Non mettere a contatto il connettore con liquidi, parti bagnate o altre sostanze che possano alterare l’effi cacia dei
contatti elettrici o provocare un corto circuito.
PROTEZIONE D’ALTRE PERSONE
Assicurarsi che nessun bambino abbia la possibilità d’utilizzare il Milk Island.
I bambini non si rendono conto del pericolo connesso agli elettrodomestici.
Non lasciare alla portata dei bambini i materiali utilizzati per imballare il Milk Island.
PERICOLO D’USTIONI
Evitare di dirigere contro se stessi e/o altri il getto di vapore e/o d’acqua calda.
Usare sempre l’apposita impugnatura posta sulla caraffa.
UBICAZIONE
Sistemare il Milk Island e la macchina per caffè in un posto sicuro, dove nessuno può rovesciarla o venirne ferito.

Acqua calda o vapore potrebbero fuoriuscire: pericolo di scottature!
Non usare il Milk Island e la macchina per caffè all’aperto.
Non tenere la macchina a temperatura inferiore a 0°C; c’è il pericolo che il gelo possa danneggiare la macchina.
Non posare la macchina su superfi ci molto calde e nelle vicinanze di fi amme libere per evitare che la carcassa fonda o
comunque si danneggi.
PULIZIA
Mai immergere la base del Milk Island nell’acqua!
È severamente vietato cercare d’intervenire all’interno della base del Milk Island.
Dopo aver utilizzato il Milk Island procedere ad un’accurata pulizia della caraffa del latte e del gruppo emulsione utiliz-
zando acqua calda e mettendola in lavastoviglie
SPAZIO PER L’USO E LA MANUTENZIONE
Per il corretto e buon funzionamento del Milk Island e della macchina per caffè si consiglia quanto segue:
Scegliere un piano d’appoggio ben livellato;
Scegliere un ambiente suffi cientemente illuminato, igienico e con presa di corrente facilmente accessibile;
Prevedere una distanza minima dalle pareti della macchina come indicato nel relativo libretto.
CUSTODIA DELLA MACCHINA
Quando il Milk Island rimane inutilizzato per un periodo prolungato, disinserirlo dalla macchina. Custodirlo in luogo
asciutto e non accessibile ai bambini. Proteggerlo dalla polvere e dallo sporco. Dopo un periodo d’inutilizzo povvedere
alla pulizia del Milk Island prima d’utilizzarlo.
RIPARAZIONI / MANUTENZIONE
Nel caso di guasti, difetti o sospetto di difetto dopo una caduta, staccare subito il Milk Island dalla macchina (vedi disin-
stallazione). Mai mettere in funzione un Milk Island difettoso. Le riparazioni vanno eseguite unicamente da un centro
di assistenza autorizzato. Nel caso di interventi non eseguiti a regola d’arte, si declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali
danni.
ANTINCENDIO
In caso di incendio utilizzare estintori ad anidride carbonica (CO
2
). Non utilizzare acqua o estintori a polvere.
SMALTIMENTO
ai sensi dell’art. 13 del Decreto Legislativo 25 luglio 2005, n. 151”Attuazione delle Direttive 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE
e 2003/108/CE, relative alla riduzione dell’uso di sostanze pericolose nelle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche,
nonché allo smaltimento dei rifi uti”
Il simbolo
del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che il prodotto alla
fi ne della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifi uti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fi ne vita agli idonei centri di raccolta differenziata dei rifi uti
elettronici ed elettrotecnici, oppure riconsegnarla al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura
di tipo equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e
allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute
e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.
Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative previste

and fastest manner possible. The Milk Island has been designed for household use only and it is not suitable for
continuous, professional operation.

• Incorrect use not in accordance with the intended uses;
• Repairs carried out by un-authorized customer service centres;
• Tampering with any part of the machine;
• The use of non-original spare parts and accessories;
• Storage at temperatures below 15°C (60°F) and failure to maintain the machine;

INSTALLING THE MILK ISLAND
Warning: Before installing the Milk Island, remove the water tank, drip tray, dregs drawer and
empty the coffee bean hopper of the espresso machine. To connect the Milk Island, turn OFF the
coffee machine, and remove the water tank, drip tray, and coffee grounds drawer. Unplug the power
cord from the socket. Place the machine on its side.
Remove the Milk Island from
the packaging. Make sure that
the carafe is intact.
Remove the cover and keep it
in a safe place.
After removing the water tank and
drip tray from the machine, gently turn
the machine onto its right side, so the
left side is up. Remove the protection
cover. Using a coin, unlock the cover
by turning it as shown in the fi gure.
Push the release button in the
direction indicated.
Release the button when the
base has been completely
inserted.
Ensure that the base is fi rmly
connected to the machine.
Hold the release button and
connect the Milk Island to the
coffee machine by inserting both
connectors into the base of the
coffee machine.
Once the support base has been
inserted properly, re-position the
coffee machine to its upright position
and replace all components that were
previously removed.
Position the carafe onto the base
by slightly rotating. Check the
LED on the base, if the light is
green the Milk Island is operating
correctly.
Milk Island is automatically
confi gured when the coffee
machine is turned on.

OPERATING THE MILK ISLAND
Warning: Before using the Milk Island, clean the carafe and all components. Ensure that all
the components have been installed properly. The glass of the carafe can reach very high
temperatures: danger of scalding! Only use the Milk Island with milk or water. DO NOT USE any other
liquid (other than milk or water) or chemical compound in the Milk Island.
Important note: The milk in the carafe should never be below the “MIN” minimum level nor exceed
the “MAX” maximum level. After using the Milk Island thoroughly clean all the components.
To guarantee better results when preparing cappuccino, we recommend using cold (0-8°C / 32-
46°F), partially skimmed milk.
Fill the milk carafe with the quantity
of milk desired (between the min
and max level).
Press and turn so as to position
the carafe onto the base of the
Milk Island. Check that the light on
the base is green.
Once the milk is done frothing
remove milk carafe using the
handle. Be sure to grip the plastic
handle as the carafe will be hot.
To make a cappuccino, gently
swirl the carafe and pour the milk
into a cup.
Position the cup with the frothed milk
under the dispensing head. Then
brew coffee into the cup. (see coffee
machine operating instructions).
OPERATION
Turn the knob until it is in the
position.
Wait for the milk to be frothed and
the desired density is reached.
Turn the knob until it is in the rest
position (
).
Note: when the milk carafe is
not being used, place the sugar
container on the base.

CLEANING
CLEANING THE MILK ISLAND
Warning: Do not immerse the Milk Island base in any liquid. Maintenance and cleaning operations
of the base can only be carried out when the machine is cold and disconnected from the power
supply. All components described in this section may be washed in a dishwasher for home use.
Do not use sharp objects or harsh chemical products (solvents) for cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth to
wipe the base. Do not dry the machine and/or its components using a microwave and/or conventional
oven.

Remove the carafe from the base.
Remove the handle holding the
carafe by the spout.
Remove the valve from the
emulsifying group.

Warning: Before removing the Milk Island, remove the water tank, drip tray and coffee grounds
drawer, and empty the coffee bean hopper. Turn the coffee machine off and unplug the machine.
To disconnect the Milk Island, gently position the coffee machine onto its right side, so the left side is
up.
Turn the coffee machine off and unplug the power cord from the socket.
Return the coffee machine
to its upright position, and
replace all components that
were previously removed.

INTENDED USE
The Milk Island is exclusively intended for household use only.
The Milk Island cannot be used alone but must be connected to a preset coffee machine.
Do not make any technical changes or use the machine for unlawful purposes since this would create serious hazards!
The Milk Island and the coffee machine must only be operated by adults.
POWER SUPPLY
The Milk Island is powered by low voltage from the coffee machine to which it is connected by a special electro-
hydraulic connector.
POWER CONNECTOR (ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC)
Never use the Milk Island if the electro-hydraulic power connector is faulty.
If damaged, the electro-hydraulic connector must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service department.
The connector must not come into contact with liquids, wet parts or other substances that could alter the effectiveness
of the electrical contacts or cause a short circuit.
PROTECTING OTHERS
Be sure that no children operate the Milk Island.
Children are not aware of the risks linked with electrical appliances.
Do not leave the Milk Island packaging within the reach of children.
DANGER OF BURNING
Never direct the jet of hot steam and/or hot water towards yourself or others.
Always use the appropriate handgrip on the carafe.
LOCATION
Place the Milk Island and the coffee machine in a safe place, where it cannot be overturned or cause injury.

or being damaged.
CLEANING
Never immerse the Milk Island base in water!
It is strictly forbidden to tamper inside the inside of the base of the Milk Island.
After having used the Milk Island, thoroughly clean the milk carafe and the emulsifying group with hot water or in the
dishwasher.
SPACE FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE
To ensure that the Milk Island and the coffee machine work properly and effi ciently, we recommend the following:
Choose a level surface;
Select a location that is suffi ciently well-lit, clean and near an easily reachable socket;
Allow for a minimum distance from the sides of the machine, as shown in the appropriate booklet.
STORING THE MACHINE
When the Milk Island remains inactive for a long period of time, disconnect it from the machine. Store it in a dry place
out of the reach of children. Keep it protected from dust and dirt. After a long period of inactivation, wash the Milk Island
before using it.
SERVICING / MAINTENANCE
In case of failure, faults or a suspected fault after a fall, immediately unplug the Milk Island from the machine (see
removing the Milk Island). Never operate a faulty Milk Island. Repairs must only be carried out by an Authorized
Service Centre. All liability for damages caused by works not carried out in a professional manner, is declined.
FIRE SAFETY
In the event of fi re, use carbon dioxide extinguishers (CO

ANSCHLUSS DES MILK ISLAND
Achtung: Das Milk Island für den Anschluss neben eine Kaffeemaschine stellen; zuvor den
Wassertank, die Abtropfschale und den Kaffeesatzbehälter entfernen und den Bohnenbehälter der
Kaffeemaschine leeren. Die Kaffeemaschine ausschalten und den Stecker von der Steckdose abziehen.
Das Milk Island aus der
Verpackung nehmen und
sicherstellen, dass die Karaffe
unbeschädigt ist. Die Verpackung
sollte aufbewahrt werden.
Die Schutzabdeckung
abnehmen und sorgfältig
aufbewahren.
Nachdem die Behälter geleert wurden,
die Kaffeemaschine vorsichtig zur
Seite legen. Die Schutzabdeckung
abnehmen, indem Sie die Abdeckung
mit einer Münze wie abgebildet
entriegeln.
Die Taste zum Einsetzen der
Basis in die Unterseite der
Maschine in die angegebene
Richtung drücken.
Nach dem Einsetzen der Basis
die Taste loslassen.

eingesetzt und betriebsbereit.

GEBRAUCH DES MILK ISLAND
Achtung: vor dem Gebrauch des Milk Island müssen die Karaffe und die anderen Bestandteile
gereinigt werden. Überprüfen, ob alle Bestandteile korrekt installiert wurden. Das Glas der Karaffe
kann hohe Temperaturen erreichen: Verbrennungsgefahr! Das Milk Island nur mit Wasser und Milch
verwenden. Die Benutzung mit anderen Flüssigkeiten jeder Art oder chemischen Zusammensetzungen
ist verboten.
Wichtiger Hinweis: die Milchmenge in der Karaffe darf nicht unter der Markierung der
Mindestfüllhöhe “MIN” liegen und sie darf die Markierung der maximalen Füllmenge “MAX”
nicht überschreiten. Nach der Benutzung des Milk Island müssen alle Bestandteile sorgfältig gereinigt
werden.
Für die Zubereitung eines optimalen Cappuccinos ist es empfohlen, teilentrahmte, kalte (0-8°C)
Milch zu verwenden.

Achtung: die Basis des Milk Island nicht in Flüssigkeiten jeder Art tauchen. Die Wartung und die
Reinigung der Basis dürfen erst dann durchgeführt werden, wenn die Maschine vom Stromnetz
getrennt wurde und abgekühlt ist. Alle im vorliegenden Abschnitt beschriebenen Bestandteile dürfen in
einem Haushalts-Geschirrspüler gewaschen werden.
Für die Reinigung dürfen keine spitzen Gegenstände oder chemisch aggressive Produkte
(Lösungsmittel) verwendet werden. Die Basis mit einem weichen Tuch reinigen. Das Milk Island und
seine Bestandteile nicht unter Verwendung eines Mikrowellen- oder herkömmlichen Backofens trocknen.

Dampf und das heiße Wasser können Verbrennungen verursachen!
SACHGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
Das Milk Island ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb in Haushalten vorgesehen. Es darf nicht als Einzelgerät verwendet
werden, sondern muss an einen dafür ausgelegten Kaffeevollautomaten angeschlossen werden. Technische
Änderungen und unsachgemäßer Gebrauch sind wegen der damit verbundenen Risiken verboten! Das Milk Island und
die Kaffeemaschine dürfen ausschließlich durch Erwachsene betrieben werden.
STROMVERSORGUNG
Das Milk Island wird mit Niederspannung von der Kaffeemaschine versorgt, an die die Vorrichtung mit einem speziellen
elektrohydraulischen Stecker angeschlossen wird.
VERSORGUNGSSTECKER (ELEKTROHYDRAULISCH)
Das Milk Island darf keinesfalls mit defektem elektrohydraulischen Stecker betrieben werden.
Bei Schäden am elektrohydraulischen Stecker muss dieser vom Hersteller oder von dessen Kundendienst
ausgetauscht werden. Der Stecker darf keinesfalls mit Flüssigkeiten, nassen Teilen oder anderen Substanzen in
Berührung kommen, die die Funktionstüchtigkeit der elektrischen Kontakte beeinträchtigen oder zu einem Kurzschluss
führen könnten.
SCHUTZ ANDERER PERSONEN
Sicherstellen, dass Kinder das Milk Island nicht benutzen können. Kinder können die Gefahrensituationen, die durch
Haushaltsgeräte entstehen können, nicht abschätzen. Die für die Verpackung des Milk Island benutzten Materialien
nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR
Den Heißwasser- oder Dampfstrahl keinesfalls auf sich selbst oder auf andere Personen richten.
Immer den entsprechenden Griff an der Karaffe verwenden.

STANDORT
Das Milk Island an einem sicheren Ort aufstellen, an dem es nicht umgekippt werden kann und sich niemand daran
verletzen kann.
Es besteht die Möglichkeit des Austritts von heißem Wasser oder Dampf: Verbrennungsgefahr!
Das Milk Island und den Kaffeevollautomaten dürfen nicht im Freien betrieben werden.
Die Maschine keinen Temperaturen unter 0°C aussetzen. Es besteht die Gefahr, dass sie durch gefrierendes Wasser
beschädigt wird. Die Maschine nicht auf heißen Flächen oder in der Nähe von offenem Feuer aufstellen, da das
Gehäuse schmelzen oder auf andere Art beschädigt werden könnte.
REINIGUNG
Die Basis des Milk Island keinesfalls ins Wasser tauchen! Der Versuch von Eingriffen im Inneren der Basis des Milk
Island ist strengstens verboten. Nach der Verwendung des Milk Island müssen die Milchkaraffe und der Aufschäumer
sorgfältig mit warmem Wasser oder in der Spülmaschine gereinigt werden.
RAUMBEDARF FÜR DEN BETRIEB UND DIE WARTUNG
Für einen korrekten und einwandfreien Betrieb des Milk Island sollten folgende Empfehlungen berücksichtigt werden:
Eine ebene Aufl agefl äche auswählen. Der Raum sollte ausreichend beleuchtet und hygienisch unbedenklich sein und
die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein.
Gemäß den Angaben in der entsprechenden Bedienungsanleitung einen Mindestabstand von den Maschinenwänden
berücksichtigen.
AUFBEWAHRUNG DES MILK ISLAND
Wenn das Milk Island längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, musses von der Maschine getrennt werden. Die Vorrichtung an
einem trockenen und für Kinder unzugänglichen Ort aufbewahren. Vor Staub und Schmutz schützen. Nach längerer
Nichtbenutzung das Milk Island reinigen, bevores wieder benutzt wird.
REPARATUREN/WARTUNGSARBEITEN
Das Milk Island bei Störungen, Defekten oder dem Verdacht auf Defekte nach einem Sturz unverzüglich von der
Kaffeemaschine trennen (siehe Deinstallation). Ein defektes Milk Island keinesfalls in Betrieb setzen. Reparaturen
dürfen nur bei einer autorisierten Kundendienststelle durchgeführt werden. Im Falle von nicht fachgerecht ausgeführten
Eingriffen wird jede Haftung für eventuelle Schäden abgelehnt.
BRANDSCHUTZ
Im Fall eines Brandes einen Kohlensäurelöscher (CO

) verwenden. Keinesfalls sind Wasser- oder Pulverlöscher
einzusetzen.

GÉNÉRALITÉS
Le Milk Island est un accessoire optionnel conçu et fabriqué spécialement pour émulsionner le lait et faire chauffer
l’eau, de façon simple et rapide. Le Milk Island ne doit servir qu’à un usage domestique ; il n’est pas indiqué pour un
fonctionnement continu de type professionnel.
Attention Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour les dommages éventuels dans les cas suivants :
• emploi inapproprié et non conforme à l’usage prévu ;
• réparations n’ayant pas été faites dans un Centre d’assistance agréé ;
• altération de tout composant de la machine ;
• emploi de pièces de rechange et d’accessoires qui ne sont pas d’origine ;
• Stockage dans un local où la température est inférieure à 15°C ou défaut d’utilisation, d’entretien ;
• Chauffage de thé ou de tisanes directement dans la carafe.
Il y a alors annulation de la garantie.
Le triangle d’avertissement indique toutes les instructions importantes pour la sécurité de l’utilisateur.
Se conformer scrupuleusement à ces indications pour éviter tout risque de blessures graves !
Ce symbole indique les informations dont il faut tenir compte en priorité pour mieux utiliser la machine.
Conserver ces instructions dans un lieu sûr. Les joindre à l’accessoire en cas de changement de propriétaire.

MONTAGE
MONTAGE DU MILK ISLAND
Attention : faire reposer la machine à café sur le côté pour y accoupler le Milk Island ; avant
d’exécuter cette opération, enlever le réservoir d’eau, le bac d’égouttement et le tiroir à marc et
vider le réservoir à café en grains de la machine à café. Arrêter la machine à café et la débrancher.
Retirer le Milk Island de l’em-
ballage ; s’assurer que la carafe
est en bon état. Il est conseillé
de conserver l’emballage.
Retirer le couvercle et le garder
avec soin.
Après avoir vidé les réservoirs, faire
reposer délicatement la machine
sur le côté. Enlever le couvercle de
protection. Débloquer le couvercle à
l’aide d’une pièce de monnaie, en le
tournant comme le montre la fi gure.
Appuyer sur le bouton de mon-
tage dans le sens indiqué.
Relâcher le bouton quand la
base est encastrée à fond.
Vérifi er si la base est accouplée
correctement à la machine.
Tout en continuant à appuyer
sur le bouton, accoupler le Milk
Island à la machine à café en
faisant coïncider les connecteurs
correspondants.
Remettre la machine à café
dans sa position initiale et
remonter tous ses composants.
Placer la carafe sur la base.Vérifi er
la couleur de la DEL (diode électro-
luminescente) sur la base. La DEL,
quand elle est verte, indique que le
Milk Island est placé correctement
et prêt à l’emploi.
La confi guration du Milk
Island se fait automati-
quement en mettant en
marche la machine à café.

UTILISATION DU MILK ISLAND
Attention : nettoyer la carafe et les autres composants avant d’utiliser le Milk Island. Vérifi er
que tous les composants sont montés correctement. Le verre de la carafe peut atteindre des
températures élevées : risque de brûlures ! N’utiliser le Milk Island qu’avec de l’eau et du lait. Il est
interdit de l’utiliser avec des liquides d’une autre nature ou composition chimique.
Remarque importante : la quantité de lait dans la carafe ne doit pas être inférieure au niveau
minimal « MIN » et ne doit jamais dépasser le niveau maximal « MAX ». Après avoir utilisé le Milk
Island, nettoyer soigneusement tous ses composants.
Il est conseillé d’utiliser du lait demi-écrémé et froid (0-8°) pour préparer le cappuccino, afi n
d’obtenir le meilleur résultat.
Remplir la carafe avec la quan-
tité de lait souhaitée.
Appuyer et tourner pour positionner
la carafe sur la base du Milk Island.
Vérifi er si la DEL qui se trouve sur
la base est verte.
Prélever la carafe en la prenant
par la poignée.
Verser le lait dans la tasse après
avoir fait quelques mouvements
circulaires.
Mettre la tasse avec le lait monté
sous le distributeur. Distribuer le café
dans la tasse (voir mode d’emploi de
la machine à café).

Remarque : mettre le réservoir
à sucre sur la base quand la
carafe de lait n’est pas utilisée.
Tourner le bouton jusqu’à ce qu’il
se place sur la position

Attention : ne pas plonger la base du Milk Island dans un liquide, quel qu’il soit. Débrancher la
machine et attendre qu’elle soit froide avant de nettoyer la base ou de procéder à l’entretien. Tous
les composants décrits dans ce paragraphe peuvent être lavés au lave-vaisselle pour usage domestique.
Ne pas utiliser d’objets pointus ou de produits chimiques agressifs (solvants) pour le nettoyage. Se
servir d’un chiffon doux pour nettoyer la base. Ne pas faire sécher la machine et/ou ses composants
dans un four à micro-ondes ou traditionnel.

Nettoyer le raccord avec un chiffon humide. Pour nettoyer plus à fond, remplir la carafe propre d’eau et distribuer de
la vapeur (suivre les instructions du point 2 jusqu’au point 6 de pag.35). La carafe et les composants qui se trouvent
dans le groupe d’émulsion peuvent être lavés au lave-vaisselle pour usage domestique.

Arrêter la machine à café et la débrancher.

de mise en service comme

Après avoir vidé les réservoirs
de la machine, faire reposer
délicatement cette dernière sur

Insérer le couvercle de protec-
tion dans son logement.
Laver tous les composants du Milk Island et les ranger dans un endroit sûr pour la prochaine fois ; il est conseillé

USAGE PRÉVU
Le Milk Island n’est prévu que pour un usage domestique.
Le Milk Island ne peut pas être utilisé seul mais doit être accouplé à une machine à café prévue à cet effet.
Les modifi cations techniques et l’usage impropre sont interdits car ils comportent des risques !
Le Milk Island et la machine à café ne doivent être utilisés que par un adulte.
ALIMENTATION SECTEUR
Le Milk Island est alimenté en basse tension par la machine à café à laquelle il est accouplé à l’aide du connecteur
électro-hydraulique spécial.
CONNECTEUR D’ALIMENTATION (ÉLECTRO-HYDRAULIQUE)
Ne jamais utiliser le Milk Island si le connecteur électro-hydraulique d’alimentation est défectueux.
Le connecteur électro-hydraulique doit être remplacé uniquement par des Centres-Service agréés SAECO. Les inter-
ventions erronées effectuées par un personnel non qualifi é risquent d’entraîner des accidents matériels ou corporels.
Veiller à ce que le connecteur ne soit pas en contact avec des liquides, des parties mouillées ou d’autres substances
pouvant réduire l’effi cacité des contacts électriques ou provoquer un court-circuit.
PROTECTION DES PERSONNES
S’assurer qu’aucun enfant n’ait la possibilité d’utiliser le Milk Island.
En effet, les enfants ne se rendent pas compte des risques liés à l’utilisation des appareils électroménagers..
Les matériaux utilisés pour l’emballage du Milk Island doivent être gardés hors de la portée des enfants.
RISQUE DE BRÛLURES
Ne pas diriger le jet de vapeur surchauffé et/ou d’eau chaude vers soi et/ou vers d’autres personnes.
Toujours utiliser la poignée prévue sur la carafe.

EMPLACEMENT
Mettre le Milk Island et la machine à café dans un endroit sûr, où personne ne peut les faire basculer ni être blessé.
L’eau chaude ou la vapeur surchauffée pourrait s’échapper : risque de brûlures !
Ne pas utiliser le Milk Island et la machine à café en plein air.
Éviter les températures inférieures à 0°C : le gel pourrait endommager la machine.
Ne pas poser la machine sur une surface trop chaude ou à proximité d’une fl amme nue : le bâti pourrait fondre ou
s’abîmer.
NETTOYAGE
Ne jamais plonger la base du Milk Island dans l’eau !
Il est strictement interdit d’essayer d’intervenir à l’intérieur de la base du Milk Island.
Nettoyer soigneusement la carafe et le groupe d’émulsion à l’eau chaude ou au lave-vaisselle après avoir utilisé le Milk
Island.
ESPACE POUR L’UTILISATION ET L’ENTRETIEN
Pour un bon fonctionnement du Milk Island et de la machine à café, il convient de :
choisir un plan d’appui plat et de niveau ;
choisir un endroit bien éclairé, propre et avec une prise de courant facilement accessible.
prévoir une distance minimale entre la machine et le mur, comme indiqué dans la notice correspondante.
RANGEMENT DE LA MACHINE
Démonter le Milk Island de la machine quand il doit rester longtemps inactif. Le conserver dans un lieu sec et non
accessible aux enfants. Le protéger de la poussière et de la saleté. Nettoyer le Milk Island avant de l’utiliser après une
période d’inactivité.
RÉPARATIONS / ENTRETIEN
En cas de panne ou de défaut possible après une chute, séparer immédiatement le Milk Island de la machine (voir
démontage). Ne jamais mettre le Milk Island en marche s’il est défectueux. Les réparations ne doivent être effectuées
que par un Centre d’assistance agréé. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommages si les interven-
tions n’ont pas été faites dans les règles de l’art.
EN CAS D’INCENDIE
En cas d’incendie, utiliser des extincteurs à anhydride carbonique (CO
2
). Ne pas utiliser d’eau ni d’extincteurs à poudre.

L’ appareil est en conçu et fabriqué pour faciliter sa valorisation, son recyclage ou sa réutilisation conformément à la
directive européenne 2002/96/CEE relative aux appareils électriques et électroniques usagés (waste electrical and
electronic equipment - WEEE).
Le logo
ci-contre apposé sur l’appareil indique que ce produit ne peut pas être éliminé avec les déchets ména-
gers non triés.
Lorsque vous aurez décidé de vous en séparer défi nitivement, il convient de faire procéder à la collecte sélective de cet
appareil en vous conformant au mode de reprise mis en place dans votre commune (collecte ponctuelle des encom-
brants, déchèterie), ou en faisant appel au service de reprise proposé par votre distributeur, ou bien, en le confi ant à

INSTALACIÓN MILK ISLAND
¡ATENCIÓN! para conectar el Milk Island es necesario apoyar sobre un lateral la máquina de café.
Antes de realizar esta operación extraer el depósito de agua, la bandeja de goteo y el cajón de
recogida de posos y vaciar el contenedor de café en grano de la máquina de café. Apagar la máquina de
café y desconectar el enchufe de la toma de corriente.
Extraer el Milk Island del
envase y asegurarse de que la
jarra esté intacta. Se aconseja
conservar el embalaje.
Retirar la tapa y guardarla con
cuidado.
Después de haber vaciado los
contenedores, apoyar la máquina sobre
un lateral con mucho cuidado. Retirar
la tapa de protección. Usando una
moneda, desbloquear la tapa girándola
tal y como se muestra en la fi gura.
Presionar el pulsador de
enganche en la dirección
indicada;
Cuando se haya introducido la
base hasta el fondo, soltar el
pulsador. Comprobar que la base
se haya conectado a la máquina
de forma estable.
Mientras se mantiene presionado
el pulsador, enganchar el Milk
Island a la máquina de café de
forma que coincidan los conectores
correspondientes.
Volver a colocar correctamente
la máquina de café y todos sus
contenedores.
Introducir la jarra en la base.
Comprobar el color del piloto
luminoso que se encuentra en la
base. Cuando el piloto esté de color
verde, signifi ca que el Milk Island se
ha colocado correctamente y que
está listo para usar.
Cada vez que se enciende
la máquina de café, el
Milk Island se confi gura
automáticamente.

USO MILK ISLAND
¡ATENCIÓN! antes de usar el Milk Island es necesario limpiar la jarra y los demás componentes.
Comprobar que todos los componentes se hayan instalado correctamente. El cristal de la jarra
puede alcanzar temperaturas elevadas: ¡Riesgo de quemaduras! Usar el Milk Island sólo para agua y
leche. Está prohibido usarlo con otros líquidos de naturaleza o composición química diferente.
Nota importante: la cantidad de leche en la jarra no tiene que ser inferior al nivel mínimo “MÍN”
y nunca debe superar el nivel máximo “MÁX”. Después de haber utilizado el Milk Island, limpiar
todos sus componentes con mucho cuidado.
Para obtener un mejor resultado en la preparación del capuchino, se aconseja utilizar leche
semidesnatada fría (0-8°C).
Llenar la jarra con la cantidad
de leche deseada.
Presionar y girar para colocar la
jarra sobre la base del Milk Island.
Comprobar que el piloto luminoso
de la base esté de color verde.
Retirar la jarra agarrándola de
la empuñadura.
Después de haber movido la
leche con pequeños movimientos
circulares, verterla en la taza.
Colocar la taza con la leche montada
bajo el suministrador de la máquina.
Suministrar el café en la taza (véase
el manual de instrucciones de la
máquina de café).

Girar el mando hasta la
posición

Esperar hasta que se monte la
leche.
Girar el mando hasta la posición
de reposo (

Nota: cuando no se use la jarra
de la leche, se puede colocar
el contenedor de azúcar sobre

LIMPIEZA MILK ISLAND
¡Atención! ¡No sumergir nunca la base del Milk Island en ningún líquido! El mantenimiento y la
limpieza de la base se pueden realizar sólo cuando la máquina está fría y desconectada de la red
eléctrica. Todos los componentes descritos en el presente apartado se pueden lavar en un lavavajillas
de uso doméstico.
No usar objetos puntiagudos o productos químicos agresivos (disolventes) para limpiar. Para limpiar la
base usar un paño humedecido. No secar la máquina ni sus componentes usando un horno microondas
y/o un horno convencional.

apretándola ligeramente en los
lados. Se recomienda el uso con
la válvula limpia y bien seca.

Limpiar la base con un paño humedecido. Para poder realizar una mejor limpieza, llenar la jarra limpia de agua y
suministrar vapor (véanse las instrucciones del punto 2 al punto 6 de pág. 45) . La jarra y los componentes presentes
en el grupo montador se pueden lavar en un lavavajillas de uso doméstico.

¡Atención! para desconectar Milk Island es necesario apoyar sobre un lateral la máquina de café.
Antes de realizar esta operación extraer el depósito de agua, la bandeja de goteo y el cajón de
recogida de posos y vaciar el contenedor de café en grano de la máquina de café.
Apagar la máquina de café y desconectar el enchufe de la toma de corriente.
Volver a colocar
correctamente la máquina
de café y todos sus
componentes.

USO PREVISTO
Usar el Milk Island sólo en ámbito doméstico.
El Milk Island no se puede utilizar de forma individual sino que se tiene que conectar a una máquina de café adecuada.

El Milk Island y la máquina de café deben usarse sólo por personas adultas.
ALIMENTACIÓN DE CORRIENTE ELÉCTRICA
El Milk Island se alimenta a baja tensión a través de la máquina de café a la que se conecta mediante el conector
electrohidráulico especial.
CONECTOR DE ALIMENTACIÓN (ELECTROHIDRÁULICO)
No usar nunca el Milk Island si el conector electrohidráulico de alimentación es defectuoso.
Si el conector electrohidráulico está dañado, solicitar al fabricante o al servicio de asistencia clientes la sustitución del
mismo.
El conector no puede entrar en contacto con líquidos, partes mojadas u otras sustancias que puedan alterar la efi cacia
de los contactos eléctricos o provocar un cortocircuito.
PROTECCIÓN DE OTRAS PERSONAS
Asegurarse de que el Milk Island esté fuera del alcance de los niños.
Los niños no se dan cuenta de los peligros relacionados con el uso indebido de un electrodoméstico.
No dejar al alcance de los niños los materiales usados para embalar el Milk Island.

COLOCACIÓN
Colocar el Milk Island y la máquina de café en un lugar seguro donde nadie los pueda volcar o quedar herido.
Agua caliente o vapor sobrecalentado podrían salir de los tubos: ¡Riesgo de quemaduras!
No usar el Milk Island y la máquina de café en lugares abiertos.
No colocar la máquina en un lugar con temperatura inferior a 0°C; se corre el riesgo de que las bajas temperaturas
estropeen la máquina.
No apoyar la máquina sobre superfi cies muy calientes ni cerca de llamas abiertas a fi n de evitar que su carrocería se
derrita o que de cualquier manera se dañe.
LIMPIEZA
¡No sumergir nunca la base del Milk Island en el agua!
Queda prohibido tratar de intervenir en la estructura interna de la base del Milk Island.
Después de usar el Milk Island, limpiar con cuidado la jarra de leche y el grupo montador con agua caliente o lavarlos
en el lavavajillas.
ESPACIO PARA EL USO Y EL MANTENIMIENTO
Para un funcionamiento correcto del Milk Island y de la máquina de café se recomienda lo siguiente:
elegir una superfi cie de apoyo bien nivelada;
elegir un ambiente sufi cientemente iluminado e higiénico. La toma de corriente debe ser de fácil acceso.
Calcular una distancia mínima de la máquina con respecto a la pared como se indica en el relativo manual.
CONSERVACIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA
En caso de que no se vaya a usar el Milk Island durante largos períodos de tiempo, se deberá desconectar de la
máquina. Guardar la máquina en un lugar seco y fuera del alcance de los niños. Proteger la máquina del polvo y de la
suciedad. Después de no haber usado el Milk Island durante un cierto período de tiempo, se deberá
limpiar antes de
usarlo.
REPARACIONES / MANTENIMIENTO
En caso de averías, desperfectos o sospecha de desperfectos tras una caída, se recomienda desconectar en seguida
el Milk Island de la máquina (véase el apartado relativo a la desinstalación). No poner nunca en funcionamiento un
Milk Island que presente desperfectos. Las reparaciones se efectúan únicamente en centros de asistencia autorizados.

INSTALAÇÃO DO MILK ISLAND
Atenção: para ligar o Milk Island será preciso colocar a máquina de café de lado; antes de realizar
esta operação remova o reservatório de água, a bandeja de limpeza, o recipiente de recolha das
borras e esvazie o recipiente de café em grãos da máquina de café. Desligue a máquina de café e retire a
fi cha da tomada de corrente.
Retire o Milk Island da embalagem;
certifi que-se de que a jarra esteja
íntegra. Aconselha-se a guardar a
embalagem.
Retire a tampa e guarde-a com
cuidado.
Depois de esvaziados os
recipientes, deite delicadamente
a máquina de lado. Remova a
tampa de protecção. Utilize uma
moeda para desbloquear a tampa,
virando-a como indicado na fi gura.
Pressione o botão de engate
para a direcção indicada;
Depois de introduzida a base até
o fundo, solte a tecla.
Certifi que-se de que a base esteja
ligada de uma forma estável com
a máquina.
Ao manter pressionado o botão,
engate o Milk Island na máquina
de café fazendo coincidir os
respectivos conectores.
Nesse ponto volte a posicionar
correctamente a máquina de
café e recoloque todos os seus
recipientes.
Introduza a jarra na base.
Verifi que a cor do indicador
luminoso na base. Se o indicador
se tornar de cor verde, o Milk Island
estará introduzido correctamente e
será pronto para ser utilizado.

USO DO MILK ISLAND
Atenção: antes de utilizar o Milk Island será preciso limpar a jarra e os demais componentes.
Certifi que-se de que todos os componentes estejam instalados correctamente. O vidro da jarra
pode alcançar temperaturas elevadas: perigo de queimaduras! Utilize o Milk Island só com água e leite.
É proibido utilizá-lo com outros líquidos de qualquer natureza ou composição química.
Nota importante: a quantidade de leite na jarra não deve ser inferior ao nível mínimo “MIN”
e nunca deve ultrapassar o nível máximo “MAX”. Depois de utilizado o Milk Island, limpe
cuidadosamente todos os seus componentes.
Para garantir um resultado melhor durante a preparação do cappuccino, aconselha-se a utilizar
um leite parcialmente desnatado e frio (0-8°C).
USO
Encha a jarra com a quantidade
de leite desejado.
Pressione e rode para posicionar
a jarra na base do Milk Island.
Certifi que-se de que o indicador
luminoso led posicionado na base
esteja de cor verde.
Retire a jarra utilizando a pega.
Depois de executados uns leves
movimentos circulares, deite o leite
na chávena.
Posicione a chávena com o leite batido
por baixo do distribuidor. Distribua
o café na chávena (veja manual de
instruções da máquina de café).
Vire o botão até a posição

LIMPEZA DO MILK ISLAND
Atenção: não mergulhe a base da Milk Island em nenhum líquido. A manutenção e a limpeza da
base poderão ser realizadas só quando a máquina estiver fria e desligada da rede eléctrica. Todos
os componentes descritos neste parágrafo podem ser lavados numa máquina de lavar louça para uso
doméstico.
Não utilize objectos pontiagudos ou produtos químicos agressivos (solventes) para a limpeza. Para
limpar a base utilize um pano macio. Não seque a máquina e/ou seus componentes utilizando um forno
microondas e/ou um forno convencional.

ESPAÇO PARA O USO E A MANUTENÇÃO
Para um correcto e bom funcionamento do Milk Island e da máquina de café aconselha-se a:
Escolher uma superfície de apoio bem nivelada;
Escolher um ambiente sufi cientemente iluminado, higiénico e com uma tomada de corrente facilmente acessível;
Prever uma distância mínima das paredes da máquina como indicado no respectivo livro.
CUSTÓDIA DA MÁQUINA
Quando o Milk Island fi car inutilizado por um período prolongado, desligue-o da máquina. Guarde-o em lugar seco e
fora do alcance das crianças. Proteja-o contra o pó e a sujeira. Depois de um período de inutilização, providencie a
lavar do Milk Island antes de utilizá-lo de novo.
CONSERTOS / MANUTENÇÃO
No caso de avarias, defeitos ou suspeito de defeito após uma queda, desligue logo o Milk Island da máquina
(veja desinstalação). Nunca ponha a funcionar um Milk Island defeituoso. Os consertos devem ser efectuados
exclusivamente em um centro de assistência autorizado. Em caso de intervenções não realizadas correctamente,
declina-se toda e qualquer responsabilidade para danos eventuais.

INSTALLATIE
INSTALLATIE MILK ISLAND
Opgelet: voor het aansluiten van de Milk Island moet u de koffi emachine op zijn kant zetten;
verwijder vóór deze handeling eerst het waterreservoir, het lekbakje, de koffi ediklade en leeg
het koffi ebonenreservoir van de koffi emachine. Schakel de koffi emachine uit en trek de stekker uit het
stopcontact.
Haal de Milk Island uit de
verpakking; controleer of de
karaf heel is. We raden u aan
de verpakking te bewaren.
Draai de deksel los en bewaar
hem goed.
Zet de machine, nadat alle
reservoirs leeggemaakt zijn,
voorzichtig op zijn kant. Verwijder
de beschermdeksel. Draai de
deksel met behulp van een muntje
los zoals getoond in de fi guur.
Druk in de richting die
aangegeven staat op de
bevestigingsknop.
Laat de knop los wanneer de
steun volledig in de machine
is geplaatst. Controleer of de
steun stevig op de machine
aangesloten is.
Houd de knop ingedrukt en
haak de Milk Island in de
koffi emachine door ervoor
te zorgen dat de betreffende
aansluitingen op elkaar passen.
Zet de koffi emachine nu weer
rechtop en vul alle reservoirs.
Plaats de karaf op de steun.
Controleer de kleur van de led op
de steun. Als de led groen is, is de
Milk Island correct aangesloten en
klaar voor gebruik.
Bij het inschakelen van de
koffi emachine wordt de
Milk Island automatisch
geconfi gureerd.

GEBRUIK MILK ISLAND
Opgelet: maak de karaf en de andere onderdelen schoon alvorens de Milk Island te gebruiken.
Controleer of alle onderdelen correct geïnstalleerd zijn. Het glas van de karaf kan hoge
temperaturen bereiken: gevaar voor brandwonden! Gebruik alleen melk en water in de Milk Island. Het is
verboden andere vloeistoffen met andere chemische samenstellingen te gebruiken in het apparaat.
Belangrijke opmerking: De hoeveelheid melk in de karaf mag nooit lager zijn dan het
minimumniveau “MIN” en nooit hoger zijn dan het maximumniveau “MAX”. Na het gebruik van de
Milk Island alle onderdelen zorgvuldig reinigen.
We raden aan voor de bereiding van de cappuccino koude melk (0-8°C) te gebruiken, voor een
beter resultaat.
GEBRUIK
Vul de melkkaraf met de
gewenste hoeveelheid melk.
Druk en draai om de karaf op de
steun van de Milk Island te plaatsen.
Controleer of de led van de steun
groen is.
Pak de karaf bij de handgreep
vast en haal hem weg.
Na kleine cirkelvormige bewegingen
te hebben gemaakt, de melk in het
kopje gieten.
Plaats het kopje met de geklopte
melk onder de koffi e-uitloop.
Laat de koffi e in het kopje lopen
(zie handleiding koffi emachine).
Draai de knop tot op het

Opmerking: als de melkkaraf
niet wordt gebruikt, kunt u het
reservoir van de suiker op de
steun zetten.
Wacht tot de melk stijf

REINIGING
REINIGING MILK ISLAND
Opgelet: dompel de steun van de Milk Island nooit onder in vloeistoffen. Het onderhoud en de
reiniging van de steun mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd wanneer de machine koud is en niet
is aangesloten op het elektriciteitsnet. Alle in deze paragraaf beschreven onderdelen kunnen in een
vaatwasser voor huishoudelijk gebruik gewassen worden.
Gebruik geen scherpe voorwerpen of agressieve chemische producten (oplosmiddelen) voor de
reiniging. Gebruik voor de reiniging van de steun een zachte doek. Droog de machine en/of onderdelen
ervan niet in een magnetron en/of conventionele oven.

Maak het verbindingsstuk schoon met een vochtige doek. Vul de karaf met water en laat de machine stoom maken
als u een grondige reiniging wenst (volg de aanwijzingen vanaf punt 2 tot punt 6 op pag. 65). De karaf en de
onderdelen van de opschuimeenheid kunnen in een vaatwasser voor huishoudelijk gebruik gewassen worden.
Monteer de opschuim-eenheid
weer en plaats hem op de karaf.
Opgelet: de opschuim-eenheid
dient correkt aangesloten te

Opgelet: om de Milk Island los te koppelen moet u de koffi emachine op zijn kant zetten;
verwijder vóór deze handeling eerst het waterreservoir, het lekbakje, de koffi ediklade en leeg het
koffi ebonenreservoir van de koffi emachine.
Schakel de koffi emachine uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Zet de koffi emachine nu
weer rechtop en vul alle
reservoirs.

De machine klopt de melk niet op. De melk heeft een niet geschikt

Breng de onder stroom staande delen nooit in contact met water: gevaar voor kortsluiting! De oververhitte stoom
en het hete water kunnen brandwonden veroorzaken!
GEBRUIKSBESTEMMING
De Milk Island is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
De Milk Island kan niet losstaand gebruikt worden maar moet aangesloten worden op een hiervoor geschikte
koffi emachine.
Het aanbrengen van technische wijzigingen en elk ongeoorloofd gebruik is verboden, in verband met de risico’s die dit
met zich meebrengt!
De Milk Island mag alleen door volwassenen worden gebruikt.
STROOMVOEDING
De Milk Island heeft een laagspanningsvoeding die geleverd wordt door de koffi emachine, waarop hij is aangesloten via
een speciale elektrohydraulische aansluiting.
VOEDINGSKABEL (ELEKTROHYDRAULISCH)
Gebruik de Milk Island nooit wanneer de voedingskabel defect is.
Indien de elektrohydraulische voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet deze door de fabrikant of door zijn klantenservice
vervangen worden.
Laat de aansluiting geen contact maken met vloeistoffen, natte delen of andere stoffen die invloed kunnen hebben op
de werking van de elektrische contacten of kortsluiting kunnen veroorzaken.
BESCHERMING VAN ANDERE PERSONEN
Verzeker u ervan dat kinderen niet de mogelijkheid hebben om de Milk Island te gebruiken.
Kinderen realiseren zich niet welke gevaren verbonden zijn aan elektrische apparaten.
Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal van de Milk Island buiten het bereik van kinderen.
VERBRANDINGSGEVAAR
Richt de oververhitte stoomstraal en/of heetwaterstraal nooit op uzelf of op anderen.
Gebruik altijd de speciale handgreep van de karaf.

PLAATSING
Zet de Milk Island en de koffi emachine op een veilige plek waar niemand het kan omstoten of zich eraan kan
verwonden.
Er kan heet water of oververhitte stoom uitkomen: gevaar voor brandwonden!
Gebruik de Milk Island en de koffi emachine niet buiten.
Bewaar de machine niet bij een temperatuur van minder dan 0°C; het apparaat kan door bevriezing worden
beschadigd.
Zet het apparaat niet op erg warme oppervlakken en in de buurt van open vuur om te voorkomen dat de behuizing
smelt of anderszins beschadigd raakt.
REINIGING
Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water!
Pogingen tot reparaties aan de binnenkant van de steun van de Milk Island zijn ten strengste verboden.
Na het gebruik van de Milk Island de melkkaraf en de opschuim-eenheid zorgvuldig reinigen met warm water of in de
vaatwasser.
RUIMTE VOOR GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUD
Voor een correcte en goede werking van de Milk Island en de koffi emachine wordt het volgende aanbevolen:
Kies een vlakke ondergrond;
Kies een voldoende verlichte, hygiënische omgeving met een gemakkelijk toegankelijk stopcontact;
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op een minimumafstand van de wanden staat, zoals in het bijbehorende boekje staat
aangegeven.
OPSLAG VAN DE MACHINE
Als de Milk Island langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt dient hij van de machine losgekoppeld te worden. Bewaar het
apparaat in een droge ruimte en buiten het bereik van kinderen. Bescherm hem tegen stof en vuil. Reinig de Milk Island
indien hij, na een tijd niet gebruikt te zijn, weer gebruikt wordt.
REPARATIES / ONDERHOUD
Haal de Milk Island meteen los van de machine (zie Uitschakelen) bij storingen, defecten of vermoedelijke
defecten na een val. Gebruik de Milk Island nooit wanneer hij defect is. De reparaties mogen alleen door een
erkend servicecentrum worden uitgevoerd. Bij ondeskundig uitgevoerde werkzaamheden wordt iedere vorm van
aansprakelijkheid van de hand gewezen.
BRANDBESTRIJDING
Gebruik in geval van brand koolzuurblussers (CO
2
). Gebruik geen water of poederblussers.
AFDANKEN
Dit product voldoet aan de EU-richtlijn 2002/96/EG.
Het symbool
op het product of op verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huishoudafval mag worden
behandeld.
Het moet echter naar een plaats worden gebracht waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur worden gerecycleerd.

UWAGA: aby podłączyć przystawkę Milk Island należy położyć urządzenie na boku; przed
wykonaniem tej czynności wyjąć pojemnik wody, tacę ociekową i pojemnik na fusy i opróżnić
pojemnik ekspresu na kawę ziarnistą. Wyłączyć ekspres do kawy i wyciągnąć wtyczkę z gniazdka
elektrycznego.
Wyjąć dzbanek z opakowania
i upewnić się czy nie jest
uszkodzony. Zaleca się
zachować opakowanie.
Wyciągnąć pokrywę i zachować
ją do ponownego użytku.

UWAGA: przed zastosowaniem przystawki Milk Island należy przeprowadzić oczyszczenie
dzbanka i innych części. Upewnić się czy poszczególne elementy zostały poprawnie
zainstalowane. Ścianki dzbanka mogą osiągać wysokie temperatury: niebezpieczeństwo poparzeń!
Używać przystawkę Milk Island jedynie do wody i mleka. Jest zabronione stosowanie jej z płynami
innych typów i o innym składzie chemicznym.
Ważna informacja: ilość mleka w dzbanku nie może być mniejsza od poziomu minimalnego “MIN”
i nie może nigdy przewyższać poziomu maksymalnego “MAX”. Po użyciu Milk Island oczyścić
dokładnie wszystkie jego elementy.
Aby zapewnić jak najlepsze rezultaty w przygotowywaniu cappuccino, zaleca się stosować mleko
częściowo odtłuszczone i zimne (0-8°C).

UWAGA: nie zanurzać podstwawy przystawki Milk Island w żadnych płynach. Konserwacja
i czyszczenie podstawy przystawki mogą być wykonywane wyłącznie kiedy urządzenie jest
ochłodzone i odłączone od sieci elektrycznej. Wszystkie części opisane w tym paragrafi e mogą
być myte w zmywarce do naczyń przeznaczonej do domowego użytku. Nie używać do czyszczenia
