Congratulations! You are now owner of a Vermeiren wheelchair with granule seat system!
This wheelchair is made by qualified and committed personnel. It is designed and produced
according to high quality standards, guarded by Vermeiren.
Please read this manual carefully; it will help you to get familiar with the operation, capabilities
and limitations of your wheelchair.
If you still have questions after reading this manual, do not hesitate to contact your specialist
dealer. He/she will be glad to help you.
Important note
To ensure your safety, and to prolong the lifetime of your product, please take good care of it and
have it checked and serviced on a regular basis.
This manual reflects the latest product developments. Vermeiren has the right to implement
changes to this type of product without any obligation to adapt or replace similar products
previously delivered.

The granule seat system L70 in combination with the Inovys II wheelchair provides the user with
the utmost comfort by adjusting to the body contours.
1.1 Accessories

2 Before use
2.1 Intended use
• The granule seat system is designed to be used in combination with the Inovys II wheelchair
with T30 wheel system and frame alterations for the granule seat system.
• Indications and contraindications: The wheelchair with granule seat system is intended for
passive wheelchair users, such as elderly people or people with walking difficulties or no
walking abilities (e.g. paralysis, loss of limbs, limb defects or deformations, stiff or damaged
joints, heart insufficiencies and poor blood circulation, balance disturbances, cachexia
(decrease in muscle), …). The user has the wheelchair pushed by an attendant.
• This wheelchair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• This wheelchair is designed and produced solely to transport/transfer one (1) person with a
maximum weight of 135kg. It is not designed for transportation of goods or objects, nor for any
use other than previously described.
• Only use accessories and spare parts approved by Vermeiren.
• Please read all technical details and limits of your wheelchair in chapter 6.
• The warranty on this product is based on normal use and maintenance as described in this
manual. Damage to your product caused by improper use or lack of maintenance will cause
the warranty to lapse.
2.2 General safety instructions
Risk of injuries and/or damage
Carefully read and follow the instructions in this manual. Otherwise you may get injured or your
wheelchair may get damaged.
Keep the following general warnings in mind during use:
• As the attendant, do not operate the wheelchair if you are under influence of alcohol, medicines
or other substances that may influence your riding abilities.
• Be aware that some parts of your wheelchair may get very hot or cold due to ambient
temperature, solar radiation or heating devices. Be careful when touching. Wear protective
clothing if the weather is cold.
• Do not modify your wheelchair in any way.
Be aware that your wheelchair may interfere with some types of anti-theft systems, depending on
the settings used. This may cause the shop's alarm to go off.

Make sure that your wheelchair is stored in a dry environment to prevent mould from
growing and the upholstery from being damaged, see also chapter 6.

Risk of injuries
• First read previous chapters and inform yourself about the intended use. Do NOT use your
wheelchair unless you have read and fully understood all instructions.
• In case of doubts or questions, do not hesitate to contact your local specialist dealer, your care
provider or technical adviser to help you with this.
3.1 Transfer in and out of the wheelchair
Risk of injuries
• In case you cannot perform the transfer in a safe manner, ask someone to assist you.
• Do not stand on the footplates.
1. Position the wheelchair as close as possible to the chair, couch or bed to/from you wish to
transfer.
2. Make sure that both brakes of the wheelchair are activated.
3. Fold the footplates upwards to prevent standing on them.
4. Transfer to/from the wheelchair with the help of an attendant or lifting equipment.
3.1.1 Correct position in the wheelchair
Some recommendations for a comfortable use of the wheelchair:
• Position your backside as close as possible to the backrest.
• Make sure your upper legs are horizontal.
3.2 Drum brakes
Risk of injuries
• Make sure that the wheelchair is on a flat horizontal surface before releasing the brakes.
• Never release both brakes simultaneously.
• To park or stop on a slope, use the parking brakes after coming to a halt.
• Brakes may only be adjusted by your specialist dealer.
To operate the drum brakes:
1. Pull the brake levers (1) in a squeeze motion.
2. Each brake lever (1) can be blocked by pushing the lock
lever (2) down with your finger.
3. Release the brake levers (1).
To move/ride again:
1. Pull the brake levers (1) in a squeeze motion. The lock lever
(2) is released by this movement.
2. Hold the handgrips firmly, while releasing the brake levers
(1).

3.3 Comfort adjustments
3.3.1 Backrest and seat inclination
The seat inclination and backrest inclination can be adjusted
simultaneously or separately by an attendant. Make sure that the
patient sits in the chair when the attendant adjusts the backrest
inclination and that the wheelchair does not tip over.
Seat inclination:
1. Squeeze the lever (3) on the left handle (see label)
towards the handle to adjust the seat inclination.
2. Pull/Push the seat in the desired position (0° to + 30°), the gas pressure spring shall
be pressed in/out.
3. Loosen the lever (3) to block the gas pressure spring.
Backrest inclination:
1. Squeeze the lever (3) on the right handle (see label) towards the handle to adjust
the angle of the backrest.
2. Pull/Push the backrest in the desired position (0° to + 45°), the gas pressure spring
shall be pressed in/out.
3. Loosen the lever (3) to block the gas pressure spring.
3.3.2 Leg rest inclination
The leg rest is adjustable in 6 positions.
1. Slightly loosen the star knob (4) on both sides of the leg rest.
2. Lift/Lower the leg rest until the desired angle is reached.
3. Tighten the star knobs (4) again firmly.
3.3.3 Footplate angle
The footplate is adjustable in 3 positions.
1. Slightly loosen the star knob (5) on both sides of the footplate.
2. Turn the footplate up/down until the desired angle is reached.
3. Tighten the star knobs (5) again firmly.
3.3.4 Headrest
The headrest is fully adjustable in height and angle. To alter
the position of the headrest: loosen any lever/star knob as
specified below, adjust the headrest to the desired position,
and retighten firmly.
[6] To adjust the headrest sideways.
[7] To rotate the headrest (360°).
[8] To adjust the headrest forward/backward.
[9] To adjust the height of the headrest.
To remove the headrest, loosen lever (9) and lift the
headrest out of the support.

4.1 Tools
To (dis)assemble and adjust the wheelchair, the following tools are needed:
• Allen keyset n° 4
4.2 Scope of delivery
The following items are part of the delivery:
• Framework with seat, backrest, wheels, armrests, leg rest, and L70 granule seat system
• Headrest
• User manual
Before use, check if everything is included and that no products are damaged.
Please note that the basic configuration may differ in different European countries. Contact your
specialist dealer.
4.3 Assembly
The wheelchair is delivered fully assembled except for the headrest, the side support pillows of
the backrest and seat, and the optional arm pads.
• The headrest can be mounted and adjusted according to the instructions in §3.3.4 .
• The pillows are easy to attach by means of the zippers. The label on each pillow indicates the
specific place and direction of the pillow (see examples below).
Risk of injuries or damage
The wheelchair needs to be (dis)assembled and adjusted by a specialist dealer according to
the instructions in this chapter.
Only use parts and tools described in this manual.
While (dis)assembling and operating the wheelchair, make sure no objects or body parts get
caught between moving parts.
Make sure all screws are firmly secured before driving.

4.4 Adjustments
4.4.1 Leg rest length
The length of the leg rest can be adjusted in 4 positions.
1. Take off the L70 granule cushions (1) from the leg rest
frame.
2. Remove the lower foam protection (2) from the leg rest
tubes.
3. Loosen and remove the screw-nut connection (3) on
both sides of the leg rest.
4. Move the inner tubes with foot plate up/down in the outer
frame tubes until the desired length is reached.
5. Replace the screws (3) and tighten firmly by hand.
6. Replace the foam protection (2).
7. Reattach the granule cushions (1) to the leg rest frame.

5 Maintenance
Observe the maintenance instructions in the manual of Inovys II.
5.1 Points of maintenance
Risk of injuries and damage
Repairs and replacements may only be undertaken by trained persons and only genuine
replacement parts of Vermeiren should be used.
The service frequency depends on the frequency and intensity of use. Contact your dealer
to agree to a common timetable for inspection/maintenance/repair.
For the maintenance manual, refer to the Vermeiren website: www.vermeiren.com.
Before each use
Inspect the following points:
• All parts: Present and undamaged or unworn.
• All parts: Clean.
• Seat, calf rests, arm pads, footplates: Well secured.
• All zippers: closed.
• Condition of frame parts: No deformation, instability, weakness or loose connections
• Seat, backrest, arm pads, footrest and head rest: No excessive wear (like dented spots,
damage or tears).
• Brakes: Undamaged and functioning.
Contact your specialist dealer for possible repairs or part replacements.
Yearly or more often
Have your wheelchair inspected and serviced by your specialist dealer, at least once a year, or
more often. The minimum maintenance frequency depends on use and should therefore be
commonly agreed upon with your specialist dealer.
5.2 Maintenance instructions
5.2.1 Cleaning
The granule seat cushions can be cleaned with a damp cloth (not drenched), and mild household
soap if necessary. The teddy covers can be machine washed at 60° C. Do not use abrasive
cleaning agents.
5.3 Expected lifespan
The average lifespan of your wheelchair is 5 years. Depending on the frequency of use, driving
circumstances and maintenance, the lifespan of your wheelchair will increase or decrease.
5.4 Reuse
Before each reuse, have the granule seat system disinfected, inspected and serviced according
to the instructions in the Inovys II manual.
5.5 End of use
At end of life, you need to dispose your wheelchair according to the local environmental
legislation. The best way to do so, is to disassemble the wheelchair to facilitate the transport of
recyclable parts.

Lisez le manuel du Inovys II avant d’utiliser votre fauteuil roulant avec le système de siège à
granules.
2.1 Usage prévu
• Le système de siège à granules est conçu pour être utilisé en combinaison avec le fauteuil
Inovys II avec système de roues T30 et des modifications de cadre pour le système de siège
granulé.
• Indications et contre-indications: Le fauteuil roulant avec système d’assise granulée est destiné
aux personnes gériatriques ou personnes qui ont des difficultés à marcher ou sont dans
l'impossibilité de marcher, telles que paralysie, de la perte de membres, déficience ou
malformation de membres, de contractions ou d'affections articulatoires, insuffisances
cardiaques et mauvaise circulation sanguine, troubles de l'équilibre, cachexie (perte
musculaire), … L’utilisateur fait pousser le fauteuil roulant par un accompagnateur.
• Ce fauteuil roulant convient à un usage à l'intérieur et à l’extérieur.
• Ce fauteuil roulant est conçu et fabriqué uniquement pour le transport d'une (1) personne d'un
poids maximum de 135 kg. Il n'est pas destiné au transport de marchandises ou d'objets, ni à
tout autre usage que celui décrit précédemment.
• Utilisez uniquement des accessoires et des pièces de rechange approuvés par Vermeiren.
• Consultez également les détails techniques et les limites de votre fauteuil au chapitre 6.
• La garantie sur ce produit est basée sur une utilisation et un entretien normaux, tels que décrits
dans le présent manuel. Les dommages à votre produit dus à un usage inapproprié ou à un

2.2 Instructions générales de sécurité

très froides en fonction de la température ambiante, des rayons du soleil ou des dispositifs de
chauffage. Faites donc attention lorsque vous les touchez. Portez des vêtements de protection
s'il fait froid.
• Ne modifiez en aucun cas votre fauteuil roulant.
Sachez que votre fauteuil roulant peut interférer avec certains types de systèmes antivol, selon
les paramètres utilisés. Cela peut déclencher l'alarme du magasin.

Risque de blessures
• Lisez d'abord les chapitres précédents et informez-vous à propos de l'usage visé. N’utilisez
PAS votre fauteuil roulant sans avoir d'abord lu et bien compris toutes les instructions.
• En cas de doutes ou de questions, n’hésitez pas à prendre contact avec votre revendeur local,
votre prestataire de soins ou votre conseiller technique qui pourra vous aider.
3.1 Transfert dans et hors du fauteuil roulant
Risque de blessures
• Si vous ne pouvez pas réaliser le transfert en toute sécurité, demandez à quelqu'un de vous
aider.
• Ne vous levez pas sur les palettes.
1. Placez le fauteuil roulant aussi près que possible de la chaise, du canapé ou du lit concerné
par le transfert.
2. Vérifiez que les deux freins du fauteuil roulant sont actionnés.
3. Pliez les palettes vers le haut pour éviter de prendre appui sur elles.
4. Procédez au transfert vers/depuis le fauteuil roulant avec l'aide d'un accompagnateur ou d'un
équipement de levage.
3.1.1 Position correcte du fauteuil roulant

3.2 Les freins à tambour
Risque de blessures
• Assurez-vous que le fauteuil roulant est sur une surface plane horizontale avant de lâcher les
freins.
• Ne lâchez jamais les deux freins en même temps.
• Pour stationner ou s’arrêter dans une pente, utilisez les freins de stationnement après en arrêt.
• Seul votre revendeur spécialisé peut effectuer le réglage des freins.
Pour actionner les freins à tambour :
1. Tirez les leviers de freins (1) dans un mouvement de
compression.
2. Chaque levier de frein (1) peut être bloqué en poussant le
levier de blocage (2) vers le bas avec votre doigt.
3. Relâchez les leviers de frein (1).
Pour vous déplacer/rouler à nouveau :
1. Tirez les leviers de freins (1) dans un mouvement de
compression. Le levier de blocage (2) est libéré par ce
mouvement.
2. Tenez les poignées fermement lorsque vous libérez les
leviers de frein (1).

3.3 Réglages de confort
3.3.1 Inclinaison du dossier et du siège
Le siège et le dossier peuvent être réglés simultanément ou de
manière indépendante au niveau de leur angle que par un
accompagnateur. Assurez-vous que le patient est assis dans le
fauteuil lorsque l'accompagnateur règle le dossier et l'inclinaison du
siège et que le fauteuil roulant ne bascule pas.
Inclinaison du siège:
1. Pressez le levier (3) situé sur le côté gauche (voir
étiquette) vers la poignée pour régler inclinaison du siège.
2. Tirez/poussez le siège dans la position souhaitée (de 0° à + 30°), l'amortisseur à
gaz sera comprimé décomprimé.
3. Relâchez le levier (3) pour bloquer l’amortisseur à gaz.
Réglage du dossier:
1. Pressez le levier (3) sur le côté droit (voir étiquette) vers la poignée pour régler
l'angle du dossier.
2. Tirez/poussez le dossier dans la position souhaitée (de 0° à + 45°), l'amortisseur à
gaz sera comprimé décomprimé.
3. Relâchez le levier (3) pour bloquer l'amortisseur à gaz.
3.3.2 Inclinaison du repose-jambes
Le repose-jambes est réglable en 6 positions.
1. Desserrer légèrement le bouton étoile (4) des deux côtés du
repose-jambes.
2. Soulever/abaisser le repose-jambes jusqu'à ce que l'angle
souhaité soit atteint.
3. Resserrez fermement les boutons étoile (4).
3.3.3 Angle de la palette
La palette est réglable en 3 positions.
1. Desserrer légèrement le bouton étoile (5) des deux côtés de la
palette.
2. Tournez la palette vers le haut/bas jusqu'à ce que l'angle
souhaité soit atteint.
3. Resserrez fermement les boutons étoile (5).
3.3.4 Appuie-tête
L'appui-tête est entièrement réglable en hauteur et en
angle. Pour modifier la position de l'appui-tête : desserrez
tout levier/bouton étoile comme indiqué ci-dessous, ajustez
l'appui-tête à la position souhaitée et resserrez fermement.

[7] Pour faire pivoter l'appui-tête (360°).
[8] Pour régler l’appui tête vers l’avant et l’arrière.
[9] Pour régler la hauteur de l'appui-tête.
Pour retirer l'appui-tête, desserrez le levier (9) et soulevez
l'appui-tête du support.

4.1 Outils
Pour (dé)monter et régler le fauteuil roulant, les outils suivants sont nécessaires:
• Jeu de clés à molette n° 10
• Jeu de clés Allen n° 4
4.2 Portée de la livraison
Les éléments suivants sont compris dans la livraison:
• Cadre avec siège, dossier, roues, accoudoirs, repose-pieds et système d’assise granulée L70
• Appuie-tête
• Manuel d’utilisation
Avant utilisation, vérifiez que tout est inclus et qu'aucun produit n'est endommagé. Veuillez noter
que la configuration de base peut différer dans les différents pays européens. Prenez contact
avec votre revendeur spécialisé.
4.3 Installation
Le fauteuil roulant est livré assemble, à l'exception de l'appui-tête, des coussins de soutien latéral
du dossier et de l'assise, et des coussins de bras en option.
• L'appui-tête peut être monté et réglé conformément aux instructions du §3.3.4 .
• Les coussins sont faciles à fixer au moyen des fermetures éclair. L'étiquette sur chaque
oreiller indique l'emplacement et la direction spécifiques de l'oreiller (voir les exemples ci-
dessous).
Risque de blessures ou de dommages
• Le fauteuil roulant doit être (dé)monté et réglé par un revendeur spécialisé conformément aux
instructions fournies dans le présent chapitre.
• N'utilisez que les pièces et outils décrits dans ce manuel.
• Lors du (dé)montage et de l'utilisation du fauteuil roulant, assurez-vous de ne coincer aucun
objet ni aucune partie du corps entre les pièces mobiles.
• Assurez-vous que toutes les vis sont correctement serrées avant l’utilisation.

4.4 Réglage
4.4.1 Longueur du repose-jambes
La longueur du repose-jambes peut être réglée en 4
positions.
1. Enlevez les coussins granulés L70 (1) du châssis du
repose-jambes.
2. Retirez la protection inférieure en mousse (2) des tubes
du repose-jambes.
3. Desserrer et retirer les raccords à vis et écrous (3) des
deux côtés du repose-jambes.
4. Déplacez les tubes intérieurs avec la palette vers le
haut/le bas dans les tubes extérieurs du cadre jusqu'à ce
que la longueur souhaitée soit atteinte.
5. Replacez les vis (3) et serrez-les fermement à la main.
6. Remettre en place la protection en mousse (2).
7. Remettez les coussins de granulés (1) en place sur le
cadre du repose-jambes.

5.1 Points d’entretien
Risque de blessures et de dommages
Les réparations et les remplacements ne peuvent être réalisés que par des personnes formées,
et seules des pièces de remplacement d'origine de Vermeiren peuvent être utilisées.
La fréquence d'entretien dépend de la fréquence et de l'intensité de l'utilisation. Prenez
contact avec votre commerçant pour convenir d'un rendez-vous pour une inspection/un
entretien/une réparation.
Le mode d'entretien se trouve sur le site Internet de Vermeiren : www.vermeiren.com.
Avant chaque utilisation
Inspectez les points suivants:
• Toutes les pièces : Présentes et sans dommage ni usure.
• Toutes les pièces : Propres.
• Siège, repose-jambes, coussin de bras, palette repose-pieds: bien serrés.
• Toutes les fermetures éclair : fermées.
• État des pièces du cadre : Pas de déformation, d'instabilité, de faiblesse ou de connexions
desserrées.
• Siège, dossier, manchettes, repose-jambes et appuie-tête: Pas d'usure excessive (bosses,
dommages ou déchirures).
• Freins : Non endommagés et fonctionnant.
Contactez votre commerçant spécialisé pour les réparations et les remplacements de pièces
éventuels.
Chaque année ou plus souvent
Faites inspecter et entretenir votre fauteuil roulant par votre revendeur spécialisé au moins une
fois par an, ou plus. La fréquence d’entretien minimale dépend de l’usage et doit être déterminée
de commun accord avec votre commerçant spécialisé.
5.2 Instructions d’entretien
5.2.1 Nettoyage
Les coussins de siège à granules peuvent être nettoyés avec un chiffon humide (non trempé) et
un savon de ménage doux si nécessaire. Les housses en peluche peuvent être lavées en
machine à 60°C. N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage abrasifs.
5.3 Durée de vie attendue
La durée de vie moyenne de votre fauteuil roulant est de 5 ans. Selon la fréquence d'utilisation,
les circonstances de conduite et d'entretien, la durée de vie de votre fauteuil roulant augmentera
ou diminuera.
5.4 Réutilisation
Avant chaque réutilisation, faites désinfecter, inspecter et entretenir le système de siège granulé
conformément aux instructions du manuel Inovys II.

5.5 Mise au rebut
À la fin de sa durée de vie, votre fauteuil roulant doit être évacué conformément à la législation

Proficiat! u bent eigenaar van een Vermeiren-rolstoel met korrelzitsysteem!
Deze rolstoel werd vervaardigd door gekwalificeerd en toegewijd personeel. Hij werd ontworpen
en geproduceerd volgens hoge kwaliteitsnormen, bewaakt door Vermeiren.
Lees deze handleiding zorgvuldig door: het zal u helpen om vertrouwd te raken met de besturing,
mogelijkheden en beperkingen van uw rolstoel.
Indien u na het lezen van deze handleiding nog vragen heeft, aarzel dan niet om contact op te

2.1 Beoogd gebruik
• Het korrelzitsysteem werd ontworpen voor gebruik in combinatie met de Inovys II rolstoel met
T30 wielsysteem en framewijzigingen voor het korrelzitsysteem.
• Indicaties en contra-indicaties: De rolstoel met korrelzitsysteem is bedoeld voor passieve
rolstoelgebruikers zoals oudere personen of mensen die moeilijk of niet kunnen lopen, onder
andere door verlamming, verlies van ledematen, defect of aandoeningen van ledematen,
contracturen of gewrichtsaandoeningen, hart- en bloedsomloopinsufficiëntie,
evenwichtsstoornissen , cachexie (afname van het spierweefsel), … De gebruiker laat de
rolstoel duwen door een begeleider.
• Deze rolstoel is geschikt voor gebruik binnen en buiten.
• Deze rolstoel is uitsluitend ontworpen voor het vervoer/transfer van één (1) persoon met een
maximumgewicht van 135 kg. Het is niet bedoeld om goederen of objecten te vervoeren, noch
voor enig ander gebruik dan hiervoor beschreven.
• Gebruik enkel accessoires en reserveonderdelen die werden goedgekeurd door Vermeiren.
• Lees eerst alle technische details en limieten van uw rolstoel in hoofdstuk 6.
• De garantie op dit product is gebaseerd op normaal gebruik en onderhoud zoals beschreven
in deze handleiding. De garantie vervalt bij schade die werd veroorzaakt door verkeerd gebruik
of gebrek aan onderhoud.
2.2 Algemene veiligheidsmaatregelen
Gevaar voor letsel en/of beschadiging
Lees de instructies in deze handleiding en volg ze nauwkeurig op. Zo niet, kan dit leiden tot
lichamelijk letsel of beschadiging aan uw rolstoel.
Houd rekening met de volgende algemene waarschuwingen tijdens het gebruik:
• Als begeleider dient u de rolstoel niet te bedienen indien u onder invloed bent van alcohol,
medicijnen of andere substanties die uw rijvermogen verminderen.
• Houd er rekening mee dat sommige onderdelen van uw rolstoel zeer warm of koud kunnen
worden door omgevingstemperatuur, de zon of verwarmingstoestellen. Wees daarom
voorzichtig bij het aanraken. Draag beschermende kleding bij koud weer.
• Wijzig uw rolstoel op geen enkele manier.
Houd er rekening mee dat uw rolstoel, afhankelijk van de gebruikte instelling, bij sommige
diefstalsystemen interferentie kan geven. Hierdoor kan het winkelalarm in werking gesteld
worden.

Gevaar voor letsel
• Lees eerst de voorgaande hoofdstukken en informeer uzelf over het beoogde gebruik. Gebruik
uw rolstoel NIET voordat u alle instructies gelezen en begrepen heeft.
• Als u nog vragen heeft of als u ergens aan twijfelt, aarzel dan niet om contact op te nemen met
uw lokale vakhandelaar, zorgverlener, of technisch adviseur om u te helpen.
3.1 Transfer in en uit de rolstoel
Gevaar voor letsel
• Indien u de transfer niet veilig op eigen kracht kan uitvoeren, vraag dan hulp van iemand
anders.
• Niet op de voetplaten gaan staan.
1. Plaats de rolstoel zo dicht mogelijk bij de stoel, zetel of bed van/naar waar u zich wilt
verplaatsen.
2. Zorg dat beide remmen van de rolstoel aan staan.
3. Vouw de voetplaten naar boven zodat u er niet op gaat staan.
4. Verplaats u van of naar de rolstoel met behulp van een begeleider of tilapparatuur.
3.1.1 Correcte positie in de rolstoel
Enkele aanbevelingen om comfortabel van uw rolstoel gebruik te maken:
• Plaats uw zitvlak zo dicht mogelijk bij de rug.
• Zorg dat uw bovenbenen horizontaal zijn.
3.2 Trommelremmen
Gevaar voor letsel
• Zorg ervoor dat de rolstoel op een vlakke ondergrond staat vooraleer de rem te lossen.
• Los nooit beide remmen tegelijk.
• Om te parkeren of stoppen op een helling, gebruik dan de remmen wanneer u tot stilstand
gekomen bent.
• De remmen mogen enkel aangepast worden door uw vakhandelaar.
Om de trommelremmen te bedienen:
1. Trek aan de remhendels (1) in een knijpende beweging.
2. Iedere remhendel (1) kan vergrendeld worden door de
vergrendelingshendel (2) naar beneden te duwen met uw
vinger.
3. Laat de remhendels (1) los.
Om weer te bewegen/rijden:
1. Trek aan de remhendels (1) in een knijpende beweging. De
vergrendelhendel (2) wordt door deze beweging gelost.
2. Houd de hangrepen stevig vast terwijl u de remhendels (1)
los zet.

3.3 Aanpassingen voor comfort
3.3.1 Rug- en zitinclinatie
Een begeleider kan de hoek van de zit en de rug gelijktijdig of
onafhankelijk van elkaar verstellen. Zorg ervoor dat de patiënt in de
rolstoel zit wanneer de begeleider de ruginclinatie verstelt en dat de
rolstoel niet achterover kantelt.
Zitinclinatie:
1. Knijp de hendel (3) aan de linkse kant (zie label) tegen
de handgreep om de zitinclinatie te verstellen.
2. Trek/duw de zit in de gewenste positie (0° tot +30°), de gasdrukveer wordt in/uit
gedrukt.
3. Laat de hendel (3) los om de gasdrukveer te blokkeren.
Ruginclinatie:
1. Knijp de hendel (3) aan de rechterkant (zie label) tegen de handgreep om de
ruginclinatie te verstellen.
2. Trek/duw de hoek in de gewenste positie (0° tot +45°), de gasdrukveer wordt in/uit
gedrukt.
3. Laat de hendel (3) los om de gasdrukveer te blokkeren.
3.3.2 Hoek van de beensteun
De beensteun is verstelbaar in 6 standen.
1. Draai de sterknop (4) aan beide kanten van de beensteun een
beetje los.
2. Beweeg de beensteun omhoog/omlaag tot de gewenste hoek.
3. Draai de sterknoppen (4) weer stevig aan.
3.3.3 Hoek van de voetplaat
De voetplaat is verstelbaar in 3 standen.
1. Draai de sterknop (5) aan beide kanten van de voetplaat een
beetje los.
2. Draai de voetplaat omhoog/omlaag tot de gewenste hoek.
3. Draai de sterknoppen (5) weer stevig aan.
3.3.4 Hoofdsteun
De hoofdsteun is volledig verstelbaar in hoogte en hoek.
Om de positie van de hoofdsteun te veranderen: draai een
van de hendels/sterknoppen los zoals hieronder
aangegeven, pas de hoofdsteun aan naar de gewenste
positie, en zet weer stevig vast.
[6] Om de hoofdsteun zijdelings te verstellen.
[7] Om de hoofdsteun te draaien (360°).
[8] Om de hoofdsteun naar achter/voor te verstellen.
[9] Om de hoogte van de hoofdsteun aan te passen.
Om de hoofdsteun te verwijderen, draai hendel (9) los en til
de hoofdsteun uit de bevestiging.

4.1 Gereedschap
Om de rolstoel te (de)monteren, is volgend gereedschap nodig:
• Set moersleutels nr. 10
• Set Allen-sleutels nr. 4
4.2 Omvang van de levering
De volgende onderdelen maken deel uit van de levering:
• Frame met zit, rug, wielen, armsteunen, beensteun en L70 korrelzitsysteem
• Hoofdsteun
• Gebruiksaanwijzing
Voor gebruik, controleer of alles is meegeleverd en of er geen beschadiging is aan de onderdelen.
Denk eraan dat de basisconfiguratie kan variëren in de verschillende Europese landen. Neem
contact op met uw vakhandelaar.
4.3 Montage
De rolstoel wordt volledig gemonteerd geleverd met uitzondering van de hoofdsteun, de
zijdelingse steunkussens voor de rug en zit, en de optionele armkussens.
• De hoofdsteun kan bevestigd en versteld worden volgens de instructies in §3.3.4 .
• De kussens kunnen makkelijk bevestigd worden door middel van de ritssluitingen. Het label
op ieder kussen geeft de specifieke plaats en richting van het kussen aan (zie
onderstaande voorbeelden).
Gevaar voor letsel of beschadiging
De rolstoel moet ge(de)monteerd en afgesteld worden door een vakhandelaar volgens de
instructies in dit hoofdstuk.
Gebruik enkel onderdelen en gereedschap zoals beschreven in deze handleiding.
Bij het (de)monteren en bedienen van de stoel, zorg ervoor dat er geen objecten of
lichaamsdelen gekneld raken tussen bewegende onderdelen.

4.4 Instellingen
4.4.1 Lengte van de beensteun
De lengte van de beensteun kan in 4 standen worden
ingesteld.
1. Neem de L70 korrelkussens (1) van het frame van de
beensteun.
2. Verwijder de onderste schuimbescherming (2) van de
buizen van de beensteun.
3. Draai de schroef-moer verbinding (3) los en verwijder ze
aan beide kanten van de beensteun.
4. Beweeg de binnenbuizen en voetplaat omhoog/omlaag
tot de gewenste lengte bereikt is.
5. Plaats de schroeven (3) terug en draai stevig aan met
de hand.
6. Plaats de schuimbescherming (2) terug.
7. Maak de korrelkussens (1) weer vast aan het frame van
de beensteun.

5 Onderhoud
Volg de onderhoudsinstructies in de handleiding van Inovys II.
5.1 Tijdstippen voor onderhoud
Gevaar voor letsel of beschadiging
Reparaties en vervangingen mogen enkel uitgevoerd worden door opgeleid personeel, en enkel
originele onderdelen van Vermeiren mogen hierbij gebruikt worden.
De onderhoudsfrequentie hangt af van de frequentie en intensiteit van gebruik. Neem
contact op met uw vakhandelaar om een tijdschema vast te leggen voor
nazicht/onderhoud/reparatie.

Voor ieder gebruik
Kijk de volgende punten na:
• Alle onderdelen: aanwezig en niet beschadigd of versleten.
• Alle onderdelen: schoon.
• Zit, kuitsteunen, armkussens, voetplaten: stevig bevestigd.
• Alle ritsen: gesloten.
• Staat van de frameonderdelen: geen vervorming, instabiliteit, zwakte of losse verbindingen
• Zit, rugsteun, armleggers, kuitsteunen en hoofdsteun: geen overmatige slijtage (bijv.
gedeukte plekken, schade of scheuren).
• Remmen: onbeschadigd en werkend.
Contacteer uw vakhandelaar voor eventuele reparaties of vervanging van onderdelen.
Jaarlijks of vaker
Laat uw rolstoel nakijken en onderhouden door uw vakhandelaar, ten minste één keer per jaar of
vaker. De minimale onderhoudsfrequentie is afhankelijk van het gebruik en moet daarom
besproken worden met uw vakhandelaar.
5.2 Onderhoudsinstructies
5.2.1 Schoonmaak
De korrelzitkussens kunnen worden schoongemaakt met een vochtig doek (niet doorweekt), en
indien nodig een milde huishoudelijke zeep. De badstofhoes kan gewassen worden in de
wasmachine op 60° C. Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen.
5.3 Verwachte levensduur
De gemiddelde levensduur van uw rolstoel is 5 jaar. De levensduur zal toenemen of afnemen
afhankelijk van de gebruiksfrequentie, rijomstandigheden en onderhoud.
5.4 Hergebruik
Voor ieder gebruik moet het korrelzitsysteem ontsmet, geïnspecteerd en onderhouden worden
volgens de instructies in de handleiding van Inovys II.
5.5 Beëindiging van gebruik
Op het einde van de levensduur moet u de rolstoel vernietigen volgens de lokale milieuwetgeving.
De beste manier om dit te doen, is de rolstoel te demonteren om het vervoer van de recycleerbare
onderdelen te vergemakkelijken.

Sitzsystem!
Dieser Rollstuhl wurde von versierten und engagierten Mitarbeitern gefertigt. Es entspricht
hinsichtlich Konstruktion und Fertigung den hohen Qualitätsstandards von Vermeiren.
Bitte lesen Sie dieses Handbuch aufmerksam durch, um sich mit der Bedienung, den Fähigkeiten
und Beschränkungen Ihres Rollstuhls vertraut zu machen.
Sollten Sie nach der Lektüre dieses Handbuchs noch Fragen haben, können Sie sich jederzeit

2.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
• Das Granulat-Sitzsystem ist für den Einsatz in Kombination mit dem Rollstuhl Inovys II mit T30-
Radsystem und Rahmenmodifikationen für das Granulat-Sitzsystem vorgesehen.
• Indikationen und Kontraindikationen: Der Rollstuhl mit Granulat-Sitzsystem ist für den
Transport von passive Rollstuhlfahrer vorgesehen, so wie ältere Menschen oder
gehbehinderten oder gehunfähigen Menschen wie z.B. Lähmungen, Gliedmaßenverlust,
Gliedmaßendefekt oder -deformation, Gelenkkontrakturen oder -schäden, Herzkrankheiten
oder schwachem Blutkreislauf, Gleichgewichtsstörungen, Kachexie (Muskelschwund), … Der
Benutzer lässt den Rollstuhl von einer Begleitperson schieben.
• Dieser Rollstuhl ist für den Innen- und Außenbereich geeignet.
• Er ist ausschließlich dafür konzipiert und gefertigt, eine (1) Person mit einem Gewicht von
maximal 135 kg zu transportieren. Er ist nicht dafür vorgesehen, Sachen oder Objekte zu
transportieren oder zu anderen Zwecken als zuvor beschrieben benutzt zu werden.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich von Vermeiren genehmigte Zubehör- oder Ersatzteile.
• Sehen Sie sich auch die technischen Daten und die Einschränkungen Ihres Rollstuhls in
Abschnitt 6 an.
• Die Garantie für dieses Produkt beruht auf dessen normaler Benutzung und Wartung wie in
diesem Handbuch beschrieben. Schäden an Ihrem Produkt, die auf unsachgemäße Benutzung
oder mangelnde Wartung zurückzuführen sind, führen zum Erlöschen der Garantie.
2.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Gefahr von Personen- und/oder Sachschäden
Bitte lesen und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung, da andernfalls
Verletzungsgefahr besteht oder Ihr Rollstuhl beschädigt werden könnte.
Beachten Sie bei der Benutzung die folgenden allgemeinen Warnhinweise:
• Bedienen Sie als Begleitperson den Rollstuhl nicht, wenn Sie unter dem Einfluss von Alkohol,
Medikamenten oder anderen Substanzen stehen, die Ihre Fahrtüchtigkeit beeinträchtigen
könnten.
• Beachten Sie, dass bestimmte Teile dieses Rollstuhls infolge der Umgebungstemperatur,
Sonneneinstrahlung, Heizkörpern usw. sehr warm oder sehr kalt werden können. Seien Sie
daher vorsichtig beim Berühren. Tragen Sie bei kaltem Wetter Schutzbekleidung.
• Nehmen Sie keinerlei Veränderungen an Ihrem Rollstuhl vor.
Bitte beachten sie, dass Ihr Rollstuhl je nach den verwendeten Einstellungen einige Arten von
Diebstahlsicherungssystemen beeinträchtigen kann. Dies kann dazu führen, dass der
Sicherungsalarm des Shops ausgelöst wird.

3 Benutzung des Rollstuhls
Verletzungsgefahr
• Lesen Sie bitte zunächst die vorhergehenden Abschnitte, um sich über die
Benutzungsbedingungen zu informieren. Benutzen Sie den Rollstuhl NICHT, bevor Sie alle
Anweisungen aufmerksam gelesen und vollständig verstanden haben.
• Bei Zweifeln oder Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte zwecks Hilfe an Ihren Fachhändler,
Pflegedienst oder Fachberater.
3.1 Setzen in den Rollstuhl
Verletzungsgefahr
• Falls Sie sich nicht allein sicher in den Rollstuhl oder aus diesem heraus umsetzen können,
bitten Sie jemanden um Hilfe.
• Stellen Sie sich nicht auf die Fußplatten.
1. Positionieren Sie den Rollstuhl so nah wie möglich an den Stuhl, die Couch oder das Bett, zu
dem bzw. von dem das Umsetzen vorgenommen werden soll.
2. Achten Sie darauf, dass beide Bremsen des Rollstuhls betätigt sind.
3. Klappen Sie die Fußplatten nach oben, damit Sie sich nicht versehentlich darauf stellen.
4. Setzen Sie sich in den Rollstuhl mit Hilfe einer Begleitperson oder einer Hebevorrichtung.
3.1.1 Korrekte Sitzposition im Rollstuhl
Einige Empfehlungen für die komfortable Verwendung des Rollstuhls:
• Setzen Sie sich möglichst weit nach hinten, so dass der Rücken an der Rückenlehne
anliegt.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Oberschenkel möglichst horizontal stehen.
3.2 Trommelbremsen
Verletzungsgefahr
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich der Rollstuhl auf einer flachen, horizontalen Oberfläche
befindet, bevor Sie die Bremsen lösen.
• Lösen Sie niemals beide Bremsen gleichzeitig.
• Stoppen oder Parken an einem Hang die Feststellbremse betätigen, nachdem Sie angehalten
haben.
• Bremsen dürfen nur von Ihrem Fachhändler eingestellt werden.
So betätigen Sie die Trommelbremse:
1. Ziehen Sie die Bremshebel (1) in einer Druckbewegung.
2. Jeder Bremshebel (1) kann durch Drücken des
Verriegelungshebels (2) mit dem Finger nach unten
blockiert werden.
3. Lösen Sie die Bremshebel (1).
So bewegen/fahren Sie wieder:
1. Ziehen Sie die Bremshebel (1) in einer Druckbewegung.
Durch diese Bewegung wird der Sperrhebel (2)
freigegeben.
2. Halten Sie die Handgriffe fest, während Sie die Bremshebel
(1) loslassen.

3.3 Komforteinstellungen
3.3.1 Einstellen der Rückenlehne / Sitzneigung
Sitz und Rückenlehne können mit Unterstützung einer zweiten
Person gemeinsam oder unabhängig voneinander im Winkel
verstellt werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Patient im Rollstuhl
sitzt, wenn die zweite Person die Einstellung der Rückenlehne und
der Sitzneigung vornimmt. Verhindern Sie ein Kippen des Rollstuhls!
Sitzneigung:
1. Drücken Sie den Hebel (3) an der linken Seite (siehe
Aufkleber) zum Handgriff um die Sitzneigung einzustellen.
2. Ziehen bzw. drücken Sie den Sitz in die gewünschte Position (0 bis + 30°). Die
Gasdruckfeder wird dabei zusammen- bzw. auseinandergedrückt.
3. Lösen Sie den Hebel (3), um die Gasdruckfeder zu arretieren.
Neigung der Rückenlehne:
1. Drücken Sie den Hebel (3) an der rechten Seite (siehe Aufkleber) zum Handgriff um
die Rückenlehne einzustellen.
2. Ziehen bzw. drücken Sie die Rückenlehne in die gewünschte Position (0 bis + 45°).
Die Gasdruckfeder wird dabei zusammen- bzw. auseinandergedrückt.
3. Lösen Sie den Hebel (3), um die Gasdruckfeder zu arretieren.
3.3.2 Neigung der Beinauflage
Die Beinstütze ist in 6 Positionen einstellbar.
1. Lösen Sie den Sterngriff (4) auf beiden Seiten der Beinstütze
leicht.
2. Heben/senken Sie die Beinstütze, bis der gewünschte Winkel
erreicht ist.
3. Ziehen Sie die Sterngriffe (4) wieder fest an.
3.3.3 Fußplattenwinkel
Die Fußplatte ist in 3 Positionen einstellbar.
1. Lösen Sie den Sterngriff (5) auf beiden Seiten der Fußplatte
leicht.
2. Drehen Sie die Fußplatte nach oben/unten, bis der
gewünschte Winkel erreicht ist.
3. Ziehen Sie die Sterngriffe (5) wieder fest an.
3.3.4 Kopfstütze
Die Kopfstütze ist in der Höhe und im Winkel voll einstellbar.
So ändern Sie die Position der Kopfstütze: Lösen Sie einen
Hebel/Sterngriff wie unten angegeben, stellen Sie die
Kopfstütze in die gewünschte Position und ziehen Sie sie
wieder fest an.
[6] Um die Kopfstütze seitlich zu verstellen.
[7] Zum Drehen der Kopfstütze (360°).
[8] Zum Verstellen der Kopfstütze nach vorne/hinten.
[9] Um die Höhe der Kopfstütze einzustellen.
Um die Kopfstütze zu entfernen, lösen Sie den Hebel (9)
und heben Sie die Kopfstütze aus der Halterung.

Wichtige Hinweise

4.1 Werkzeuge
Um den Rollstuhl zu (de)montieren und einzustellen, werden folgende Werkzeuge benötigt:

4.2 Lieferumfang
Folgende Teile gehören zum Lieferumfang:
• Rahmen mit Sitz, Rückenpolster, Räder, Armlehnen, Beinstützen und L70 Granulat-
Sitzsystem
• Kopfstütze
• Benutzerhandbuch
Überprüfen Sie vor dem Gebrauch, ob alle Teile vorhanden und unbeschädigt sind. Beachten Sie
bitte, dass diese Basiskonfiguration in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern abweichen kann.
Wenden Sie sich diesbezüglich an Ihren Fachhändler.
4.3 Montage
Der Rollstuhl wird fertig montiert geliefert, mit Ausnahme der Kopfstütze, der seitlichen
Stützkissen der Rückenlehne und des Sitzes sowie der optionalen Armauflagen.
• Die Kopfstütze kann gemäß den Anweisungen in §3.3.4 montiert und eingestellt werden.
• Die Kissen lassen sich mit Hilfe der Reißverschlüsse leicht anbringen. Das Etikett auf jedem
Kissen gibt die spezifische Position und Richtung des Kissens an (siehe Beispiele unten).
Gefahr von Verletzungen und Schäden
Der Rollstuhl muss von einem Fachhändler gemäß den Anweisungen in diesem Abschnitt
(de)montiert und eingestellt werden.
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die in diesem Handbuch beschriebenen Teile.
Achten Sie beim (De)Montieren und Betrieb des Rollstuhls darauf, dass keine Gegenstände
oder Gliedmaßen zwischen beweglichen Teilen eingeklemmt werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass alle Schrauben korrekt angezogen sind, bevor Sie den Rollstuhl
benutzen.

4.4 Einstellungen
4.4.1 Länge der Beinstütze
Die Beinstützenlänge kann in 4 Positionen eingestellt werden.
1. Nehmen Sie die Granulatkissen L70 (1) vom
Beinstützenrahmen ab.
2. Entfernen Sie den unteren Schaumstoffschutz (2) von den
Beinstützenrohren.
3. Lösen und entfernen Sie die Schraub-Mutter-Verbindung
(3) auf beiden Seiten der Beinstütze.
4. Verschieben Sie die Innenrohre mit Fußplatte in den
äußeren Rahmenrohren nach oben/unten, bis die
gewünschte Länge erreicht ist.
5. Setzen Sie die Schrauben (3) wieder ein und ziehen Sie
sie mit der Hand fest an.
6. Setzen Sie den Schaumstoffschutz (2) wieder ein.
7. Bringen Sie die Granulatkissen (1) wieder am
Beinstützenrahmen an.

5 Wartung
Beachten Sie die Wartungshinweise im Handbuch des Inovys II.
5.1 Wartungspunkte
Gefahr von Verletzungen und Schäden
Reparaturen und Teileaustausch dürfen nur von geschultem Personal durchgeführt werden und
es dürfen nur Originalersatzteile von Vermeiren verwendet werden.
Die Wartungshäufigkeit hängt von der Häufigkeit und Intensität der Nutzung ab. Wenden
Sie sich an Ihren Händler, um einen allgemeinen Zeitplan für
Inspektion/Wartung/Reparatur zu vereinbaren.

Vor jeder Benutzung
Kontrollieren Sie folgende Punkte:
• Alle Komponenten: Vorhanden und nicht beschädigt oder verschlissen sind.
• Alle Komponenten: Reinigung.
• Sitz, Wadenlehnen, Armkissen, Fußplatte: Sind korrekt gesichert.
• Alle Reißverschlüsse: geschlossen.
• Zustand der Rahmenteile: Keine Deformation, Instabilität, Schwachstelle oder lose
Verbindungen
• Sitz, Rückenlehne, Armpolster, Wadenpolster und Kopfstütze: Kein übermäßiger
Verschleiß (wie Eindellungen, Beschädigungen oder Risse).
• Bremsen: Unbeschädigt und funktionsfähig.
Wenden Sie sich wegen etwaiger Reparaturen oder Ersatzteile an Ihren Fachhändler.
Jährlich oder häufiger
Lassen Sie Ihren Rollstuhl mindestens einmal pro Jahr oder häufiger von Ihrem Fachhändler
inspizieren und warten. Die minimale Wartungshäufigkeit ist von der Benutzung abhängig und
sollte daher zusammen mit Ihrem Fachhändler abgesprochen werden.
5.2 Wartungshinweise
5.2.1 Reinigung
Die Granulat-Sitzauflagen können mit einem feuchten Tuch (nicht durchnässt) und ggf. milder
Haushaltsseife gereinigt werden. Die Teddybezüge können bei 60° C in der Maschine gewaschen
werden. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.
5.3 Voraussichtliche Nutzungsdauer
Die durchschnittliche Nutzungsdauer Ihres Rollstuhls beträgt 5 Jahre. Je nach
Nutzungshäufigkeit, Betriebsbedingungen und Wartung kann die Nutzungsdauer Ihres Rollstuhls
länger oder kürzer sein.
5.4 Wiederbenutzung
Lassen Sie das Granulat-Sitzsystem vor jeder Wiederbenutzung desinfizieren, inspizieren und
entsprechend den Anweisungen im Inovys II-Handbuch.
5.5 Nutzungsende
Am Ende seiner Nutzungsdauer muss Ihr Rollstuhl gemäß den geltenden Umweltvorschriften
entsorgt werden. Dazu wird er im besten Fall zerlegt, um den Transport wiederverwertbarer Teile
zu erleichtern.

2.1 Uso previsto
• Il sistema di seduta con imbottitura granulare è studiato per l'abbinamento con le carrozzine
Inovys II dotate del sistema di ruote T30 e delle modifiche del telaio necessarie per il sistema
con imbottitura granulare.
• Indicazioni e controindicazioni: La carrozzina dotata del sistema di seduta con imbottitura
granulare è studiata per utenti passivi, come persone anziane oppure con difficoltà o disabilità
a livello di deambulazione (ad esempio paralisi, perdita, difetti o malformazioni degli arti, rigidità
o danni delle articolazioni, forme di insufficienza cardiaca, cattiva circolazione sanguigna,
disturbi dell'equilibrio, cachessia (riduzione della massa muscolare) e così via). Un assistente
deve spingere la carrozzina per l'utente.
• Questa carrozzina è adatta per l'uso al coperto e all'aperto.
• Essa è progettata e realizzata esclusivamente per il trasporto/trasferimento di una (1) persona
di peso non superiore a 135 kg. Essa non è viceversa progettata per il trasporto di merci od
oggetti, né per qualunque uso diverso da quello descritto in precedenza.
• Utilizzare esclusivamente accessori e ricambi approvati da Vermeiren.
• Leggere tutte le informazioni tecniche di dettaglio e le limitazioni della carrozzina, riportate nel
capitolo 1.
• La garanzia del prodotto presuppone un uso e una manutenzione normali del medesimo, come
descritti in questo manuale. I danni al prodotto dovuti a uso improprio o manutenzione carente
causano la decadenza della garanzia.
2.2 Istruzioni generali di sicurezza
Rischio di lesioni e/o danni
Leggere attentamente e osservare scrupolosamente le istruzioni contenute in questo manuale.
In caso contrario, è possibile ferirsi o danneggiare la carrozzina.
Durante l’uso, tenere presenti le seguenti avvertenze generali:
• L'assistente non deve azionare la carrozzina se è sotto l’effetto di alcool, farmaci o altre
sostanze in grado di influire sulle sue capacità di manovra.
• Non dimenticare che alcune parti della carrozzina possono diventare molto calde o fredde a
causa della temperatura ambiente, della radiazione solare o di dispositivi di riscaldamento.
Prestare attenzione quando si tocca la carrozzina. In condizioni climatiche fredde, indossare
indumenti protettivi.
• Non modificare in alcun modo la carrozzina.
Prestare attenzione alla possibilità che la carrozzina interferisca con alcuni tipi di sistemi antifurto,
a seconda delle impostazioni utilizzate. Ciò può fare scattare l'allarme dei negozi.

3 Uso della carrozzina
Rischio di lesioni
• Leggere anzitutto il capitolo precedente per familiarizzarsi con l’uso previsto. NON utilizzare la
carrozzina senza avere letto e compreso a fondo tutte le istruzioni.
• In caso di dubbi o domande, non esitare a rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore specializzato di zona,
al proprio fornitore di cure sanitarie o a un consulente tecnico per un aiuto al riguardo.
3.1 Trasferimento sulla o dalla carrozzina
Rischio di lesioni
• Se non si è in grado di effettuare il trasferimento in condizioni di sicurezza, richiedere
l’assistenza di un’altra persona.
• Non salire in piedi sulle pedane.
1. Avvicinare il più possibile la carrozzina alla sedia, al divano o al letto sul/dal quale si desidera
trasferirsi.
2. Accertarsi che entrambi i freni della carrozzina siano inseriti.
3. Ripiegare le pedane verso l'alto, per evitare di salirvi.
4. Trasferirsi sulla/dalla carrozzina con l'ausilio di un assistente o di un dispositivo di
sollevamento.
3.1.1 Posizione corretta sulla carrozzina
Alcuni consigli per un uso confortevole della carrozzina:
• Portare la schiena il più vicino possibile allo schienale.
• Accertarsi che la parte superiore delle gambe sia orizzontale.
3.2 Freni a tamburo
Rischio di lesioni
• Prima di rilasciare i freni, accertarsi che la carrozzina si trovi su una superficie piana
orizzontale.
• Non rilasciare mai entrambi i freni contemporaneamente.
• Per parcheggiare o arrestarsi su una superficie inclinata, utilizzare i freni di parcheggio dopo
essersi fermati.
• La regolazione dei freni deve essere eseguita esclusivamente da un rivenditore specializzato.
Azionamento dei freni a tamburo:
1. Tirare le leve (1) dei freni con un movimento di
compressione.
2. È possibile bloccare ciascuna leva (1) dei freni spingendo
verso il basso la leva di bloccaggio (2) con un dito.
3. Rilasciare le leve (1) dei freni.
Riavvio del movimento / dell'uso:
1. Tirare le leve (1) dei freni con un movimento di
compressione. Tale movimento rilascia la leva di
bloccaggio (2).
2. Afferrare saldamente le impugnature rilasciando allo stesso
tempo le leve (1) dei freni.

3.3 Regolazioni per il comfort
3.3.1 Inclinazione dello schienale e del sedile
L'assistente ha la possibilità di regolare l'inclinazione del sedile e
quella dello schienale contemporaneamente o separatamente.
Durante la regolazione dello schienale, l'assistente deve accertarsi
che il paziente sia seduto sulla carrozzina e che la stessa non si
ribalti.
Inclinazione del sedile:
1. Per regolare l'inclinazione del sedile, premere la leva
(3) situata sulla maniglia sinistra (vedere l'etichetta) verso la maniglia stessa.
2. Tirare/spingere il sedile portandolo nella posizione desiderata (0° - +30°); la molla a
gas viene spinta all'interno/all'esterno.
3. Rilasciare la leva (3) per bloccare la molla a gas.
Inclinazione dello schienale:
1. Per regolare l'inclinazione dello schienale, premere la leva (3) situata sulla maniglia
destra (vedere l'etichetta) verso la maniglia stessa.
2. Tirare/spingere lo schienale portandolo nella posizione desiderata (0° - +45°); la
molla a gas viene spinta all'interno/all'esterno.
3. Rilasciare la leva (3) per bloccare la molla a gas.
3.3.2 Inclinazione dell’appoggio per le gambe
L'appoggio per le gambe è regolabile su 6 posizioni.
1. Allentare leggermente le manopole a stella (4) presenti su
entrambi i lati dell'appoggio per le gambe.
2. Sollevare/abbassare l'appoggio per le gambe fino a
raggiungere l'angolazione desiderata.
3. Serrare nuovamente a fondo le manopole a stella (4).
3.3.3 Angolazione della pedana
La pedana è regolabile su 3 posizioni.
1. Allentare leggermente le manopole a stella (5) presenti su
entrambi i lati della pedana.
2. Ruotare la pedana verso l'alto / il basso fino a raggiungere
l'angolazione desiderata.
3. Serrare nuovamente a fondo le manopole a stella (5).

3.3.4 Poggiatesta
Il poggiatesta è totalmente regolabile in altezza e
angolazione. Per variare la posizione del poggiatesta,
allentare la leva / manopola a stella come indicato di seguito,
portare il poggiatesta nella posizione desiderata e serrare
nuovamente a fondo la leva / manopola a stella in questione.

Per rimuovere il poggiatesta, allentare la leva (9) e sollevarlo

4.1 Attrezzi
Per (s)montare e regolare la carrozzina sono necessari i seguenti attrezzi:
• Serie di chiavi per brugole n. 4
4.2 Oggetto della fornitura
Gli articoli indicati di seguito fanno parte della fornitura standard:
• Telaio con sedile, schienale, ruote, braccioli, appoggio per le gambe e sistema di seduta
L70 con imbottitura granulare
• Poggiatesta
• Manuale di istruzioni
Prima dell'uso, verificare che siano presenti tutti gli articoli e che nessuno di essi sia danneggiato.
Si noti che la configurazione di base può differire nei diversi Paesi europei. Rivolgersi al proprio
rivenditore specializzato.
4.3 Montaggio
La carrozzina viene consegnata completamente montata ad eccezione del poggiatesta, dei
cuscini di supporto laterali dello schienale e del sedile e dei braccioli opzionali.
• l poggiatesta può essere montato e regolato secondo le istruzioni al §3.3.4 .
• I cuscini sono facili da fissare tramite le cerniere. L'etichetta su ogni cuscino indica il posto
specifico e la direzione del cuscino (vedi esempi sotto).
Rischio di lesioni o danni
La carrozzina deve essere (s)montata e regolata da un rivenditore specializzato secondo le
istruzioni fornite in questo capitolo.
Utilizzare esclusivamente i componenti e gli attrezzi descritti in questo manuale.
Quando si (s)monta e si utilizza la carrozzina, accertarsi che nessun oggetto o parte del corpo
venga schiacciato fra i componenti in movimento.
Prima di mettersi in movimento, accertarsi che tutte le viti siano serrate a fondo.

4.4 Regolazioni
4.4.1 Lunghezza degli appoggi per le gambe
La lunghezza dell'appoggio per le gambe è regolabile su 4
posizioni.
1. Togliere dal telaio dell'appoggio per le gambe i cuscini
L70 (1) con imbottitura granulare.
2. Rimuovere la protezione inferiore in schiuma (2) dai tubi
dell'appoggio per le gambe.
3. Allentare e rimuovere i collegamenti a vite (3) con dado
presenti su entrambi i lati dell'appoggio per le gambe.
4. Spostare verso l'alto / il basso i tubi interni con la pedana
facendoli scorrere all'interno di quelli esterni, fino a
raggiungere la lunghezza desiderata.
5. Reinserire le viti (3) e serrarle saldamente a mano.
6. Rimontare la protezione inferiore in schiuma (2).
7. Fissare nuovamente al telaio dell'appoggio per le
gambe i cuscini (1) con imbottitura granulare.

5 Manutenzione
Osservare le istruzioni per la manutenzione riportate nel manuale della carrozzina Inovys II.
5.1 Punti di manutenzione
Rischio di lesioni e danni
Riparazioni e sostituzioni devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da personale con un’opportuna
formazione e utilizzando unicamente ricambi originali Vermeiren.
La frequenza dell'assistenza dipende dalla frequenza e dall’intensità dell’uso. Concordare
con il proprio rivenditore un calendario comune per le attività di ispezione / manutenzione
/ riparazione.
Per il manuale di manutenzione, fare riferimento al sito Web di Vermeiren all’indirizzo
www.vermeiren.com.
Prima di ciascun utilizzo
Verificare i seguenti punti:
• Tutti i componenti: presenza, integrità e assenza di usura.
• Tutti i componenti: puliti.
• Sedile, poggiapolpacci, imbottiture dei braccioli e pedane: fissati saldamente.
• Tutte le cerniere lampo: chiuse.
• Condizioni dei componenti del telaio: assenza di deformazioni, instabilità, punti deboli o
raccordi allentati
• Sedile, schienale, poggiapiedi e poggiatesta: assenza di usura eccessiva (come
ammaccature, danni o lacerazioni).
• Freni: integri e funzionanti.
Rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore specializzato per le riparazioni o i ricambi eventualmente
necessari.
Annualmente o con maggiore frequenza
Almeno una volta all’anno, o con maggiore frequenza, richiedere al proprio rivenditore
specializzato un intervento di ispezione e manutenzione della carrozzina. La frequenza minima
di manutenzione dipende dall’uso, e deve pertanto essere concordata con il proprio rivenditore
specializzato.
5.2 Istruzioni per la manutenzione
5.2.1 Pulizia
È possibile pulire i cuscini del sedile con imbottitura granulare servendosi di un panno umido (non
zuppo) e, se necessario, di un con sapone delicato per uso domestico. Le fodere in pile possono
essere lavate in lavatrice a 60 °C. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi.
5.3 Durata prevista
La carrozzina ha una durata media prevista di 5 anni. Tale valore aumenta o diminuisce a seconda
della frequenza di utilizzo, delle condizioni di guida e della manutenzione.
5.4 Utilizzi successivi
Prima di ogni utilizzo successivo, fare disinfettare, ispezionare e sottoporre a manutenzione il
sistema di seduta con imbottitura granulare secondo le istruzioni riportate nel manuale della
carrozzina Inovys II.

5.5 Fine vita
A fine vita, occorre smaltire la carrozzina conformemente alla legislazione ambientale locale. Il
modo migliore per farlo consiste nello smontare la carrozzina per agevolare il trasporto dei
componenti riciclabili.

granulado.
Esta silla de ruedas ha sido fabricada por personal experto y cualificado. Se ha diseñado y
fabricado según los más altos estándares de calidad implementados por Vermeiren.
Lea este manual detenidamente. Le ayudará a familiarizarse con el manejo, las capacidades y
limitaciones de su silla de ruedas.

2 Antes de su uso
2.1 Uso previsto
• El sistema de asiento granulado está diseñado para usar en combinación con la silla de ruedas
Inovys II con el sistema de rueda T30 y con alteraciones del bastidor para el sistema de asiento
granulado.
• Indicaciones y contraindicaciones: La silla de ruedas con el sistema de asiento granulado está
diseñada para usuarios pasivos de sillas de ruedas, como personas mayores o personas con
problemas o sin capacidad para andar (p.ej. parálisis, pérdida de extremidades, defectos o
deformaciones de las extremidades, articulaciones rígidas o dañadas, insuficiencias cardíacas
y una mala circulación, perturbaciones del equilibrio, caquexia...). La silla de ruedas en la que
se sienta el usuario la debe conducir un auxiliar.
• Esta silla de ruedas es apta para su uso en interiores y exteriores.
• Esta silla de ruedas está diseñada y fabricada exclusivamente para transportar a una (1)
persona con un peso máximo de 135kg. No está diseñada para transportar mercancías u
objetos, o para otros usos que no sean los descritos anteriormente.
• Utilizar solo accesorios y piezas de repuesto aprobados por Vermeiren.
• Consulte todos los datos técnicos y las limitaciones de la silla de ruedas en el capítulo 6.
• La garantía de este producto se basa en el uso y mantenimiento normales descritos en este
manual. La garantía se invalida si el producto sufre cualquier daño causado por un uso

2.2 Instrucciones generales de seguridad
Riesgo de lesiones y daños
Leer detenidamente y seguir las instrucciones que se recogen en este manual. De no seguirlas,
puede acabar lesionándose a sí mismo, o acabar rompiendo la silla de ruedas.
Tener en cuenta las siguientes advertencias durante su utilización:
• El auxiliar no debe manejar la silla de ruedas si ha consumido alcohol, medicamentos u otras
sustancias que afecten a la conducción.
• Tener en cuenta que algunas piezas de la silla de ruedas pueden calentarse o enfriarse mucho
debido a la temperatura ambiente, a la radiación solar o a aparatos de calefacción. Tener
siempre cuidado al tocar la silla de ruedas. Llevar ropa protectora cuando haga frío.
• No alterar la silla de ruedas de ningún modo.
Tener en cuenta que la silla de ruedas puede llegar a interferir con algunos sistemas antirrobos,
dependiendo de la configuración que se use. Esto puede hacer que salte la alarma de las tiendas.

2.5 Almacenamiento

Riesgo de lesiones
• Leer antes los capítulos anteriores e informarse sobre el uso previsto. NO utilizar la silla de
ruedas si no se han leído detenidamente y entendido completamente todas las instrucciones.
• En caso de tener dudas o preguntas, contacte con su distribuidor especializado local,
proveedor de cuidados o asesor técnico para recibir asesoramiento.
3.1 Traslado hacia y fuera de la silla de ruedas
Riesgo de lesiones
• En caso de que no se pueda hacer el traslado de manera segura, pedir ayuda a alguien.
• No ponerse de pie encima de los reposapiés.
1. Colocar la silla de ruedas lo más cerca posible a la silla, el sillón o la cama a la que se quiera
trasladar.
2. Asegurarse que de ambos frenos de la silla de rueda están activados.
3. Plegar las paletas de los reposapiés hacia arriba para evitar apoyarse en ellas.
4. Trasladarse hacia o fuera de la silla de ruedas con ayuda de un auxiliar o un equipo de
elevación.
3.1.1 Posición correcta en la silla de ruedas
Algunas recomendaciones para un uso cómodo de la silla de ruedas:
• Posicionar la espalda lo más cerca posible al respaldo.
• Asegurarse que los muslos están en horizontal.
3.2 Frenos de tambor
Riesgo de lesiones
• Asegurarse de que la silla de ruedas se encuentra en una superficie plana horizontal antes de
soltar los frenos.
• No soltar nunca ambos frenos a la vez.
• Para estacionar o parar en una pendiente, utilizar los frenos de estacionamiento solo cuando
haya parado.
• Los frenos solo pueden ser ajustados por un distribuidor especializado.
Para accionar los frenos de tambor:
1. Tirar de las palancas de freno (1) como si estuviera
cerrando los puños.
2. Cada una de las palancas de freno (1) puede bloquearse
accionando la palanca de bloqueo (2) hacia abajo con el
dedo.
3. Soltar las palancas de freno (1).
Para circular de nuevo:
1. Tirar de las palancas de freno (1) como si estuviera
cerrando los puños. La palanca de bloqueo (2) se suelta en
ese momento.
2. Sujetar con firmeza las empuñaduras mientras se sueltan las palancas de freno (1).

3.3 Ajustes de comodidad
3.3.1 Respaldo e inclinación del asiento
La inclinación del respaldo y la del asiento pueden ajustarse
simultáneamente o por separado por un auxiliar. Asegurarse de que
el paciente esté sentado en la silla cuando auxiliar ajuste la
inclinación del respaldo y de que la silla de ruedas no se vuelque.
Inclinación del asiento:
1. Apretar la palanca (3) en la empuñadura izquierda
(véase el símbolo) en dirección de la empuñadura
para ajustar la inclinación del asiento.
2. Tirar o empujar el asiento en la posición deseada (desde 0° hasta + 30°), el resorte
neumático se presionará debidamente.
3. Soltar la palanca (3) para bloquear el resorte neumático.
Inclinación del respaldo:
1. Apretar la palanca (3) en la empuñadura derecha (véase el símbolo) en dirección
de la empuñadura para ajustar el ángulo del respaldo.
2. Tirar o empujar el respaldo en la posición deseada (desde 0° hasta + 45°), el resorte
neumático se presionará debidamente.
3. Soltar la palanca (3) para bloquear el resorte neumático.
3.3.2 Inclinación del reposapiernas
El reposapiernas puede ajustarse en 6 posiciones.
1. Aflojar levemente las perillas estrelladas (4) en ambos lados del
reposapiernas.
2. Subir o bajar el reposapiernas hasta conseguir el ángulo
deseado.
3. Volver a apretar bien las perillas estrelladas (4).
3.3.3 Ángulo de las paletas del reposapiés
Las paletas del reposapiés pueden ajustarse en 3 posiciones.
1. Aflojar levemente las perillas estrelladas (5) en ambos lados de
la paleta.
2. Girar la paleta hacia arriba o abajo hasta alcanzar el ángulo
deseado.
3. Volver a apretar bien las perillas estrelladas (5).
3.3.4 Reposacabezas
Se puede totalmente ajustar la altura y el ángulo del
reposacabezas. Para cambiar la posición del
reposacabezas: aflojar cualquiera de las perillas estrelladas
que se especifican a continuación, ajustar el
reposacabezas en la posición adecuada y volver a apretar
bien.
[6] Para ajustar el reposacabezas de lado.
[7] Para girar el reposacabezas (360º).
[8] Para ajustar el reposacabezas hacia delante o atrás.
[9] Para ajustar la altura del reposacabezas.
Para retirar el reposacabezas, aflojar la palanca (9) y
sacarlo de su soporte.

4.1 Herramientas
Para montar, ajustar y desmontar la silla de ruedas, se necesitan las siguientes herramientas:
• Juego de llaves Allen n.º 4
4.2 Paquete de entrega
Los siguientes objetos forman parte de la entrega:
• Bastidor con asiento, respaldo, ruedas, reposabrazos, reposapiernas y sistema de asiento
granulado L70.
• Reposacabezas
• Manual de usuario
Antes del uso, comprobar que todo viene incluido y que ninguna de las piezas esté dañada.
Téngase en cuenta que la configuración básica puede variar en diferentes países de Europa.
Consulte con su distribuidor especializado al respecto.
4.3 Montaje
La silla de ruedas se entrega completamente montada, excepto el reposacabezas, las
almohadillas de apoyo lateral del respaldo y del asiento, y los cojines opcionales para los brazos.
• El reposacabezas puede montarse y ajustarse según las instrucciones del apartado §3.3.4 .
• Las almohadas son fáciles de colocar mediante las cremalleras. La etiqueta de cada
almohada indica el lugar y la dirección específicos de la almohada (véanse los ejemplos
siguientes).
Riesgo de lesiones o daños
La silla de ruedas debe montarla, desmontarla y ajustarla un distribuidor especializado
siguiendo las instrucciones contenidas en este capítulo.
Solo utilizar las piezas y herramientas descritas en este manual.
Mientras se (des)monta y utiliza la silla de ruedas, asegurarse de que no se queden atrapados
objetos o partes del cuerpo entre las piezas móviles.
Asegurarse de que todos los tornillos estén bien fijados antes de ir con la silla de ruedas.

4.4 Ajustes
4.4.1 Longitud del reposapiernas
La longitud del reposapiernas se puede ajustar en 4
posiciones.
1. Retirar los cojines granulados L70 (1) del bastidor del
reposapiernas.
2. Retirar la espuma protectora (2) en la parte inferior de
los tubos del reposapiernas.
3. Aflojar y retirar la conexión del tornillo y la tuerca (3) en
ambos lados del reposapiernas.
4. Mover los tubos internos con paletas hacia arriba o
abajo en los tubos exteriores del batidor hasta
conseguir la longitud deseada.
5. Volver a colocar los tornillos (3) y apretarlos firmemente
con la mano.
6. Volver a colocar la espuma protectora (2).
7. Volver a colocar los cojines granulados (1) en el bastidor
del reposapiernas.

5 Mantenimiento
Síganse las instrucciones de mantenimiento en el manual de instrucciones para Inovys II.
5.1 Puntos de mantenimiento
Riesgo de lesiones y daños
Cualquier reparación o cambios solo pueden llevarse a cabo por personal debidamente
cualificado y solo pueden utilizarse piezas de recambio Vermeiren originales.
La frecuencia de los mantenimientos depende de la frecuencia e intensidad de uso.
Póngase en contacto con su distribuidor para acordar un horario común para realizar
inspecciones, mantenimientos y reparaciones.
Para consultar el manual de mantenimiento, visitar el sitio web de Vermeiren:

Antes de cada uso
Inspeccionar los siguientes aspectos:
• Todas las piezas: Presentes y sin daños o desgastes.
• Todas las piezas: Limpias.
• Asiento, soporte para pantorrillas, almohadillas para reposabrazos, paletas: Bien
asegurados.
• Todas las cremalleras.
• Estado de las piezas del bastidor: Sin deformaciones, inestabilidad, debilidad o
conexiones sueltas
• Asiento, respaldo, almohadillas para reposabrazos, reposapiés y reposacabezas: Sin
desgaste excesivo (como abolladuras, daños o grietas).
• Frenos: Sin deterioro y en buen estado de funcionamiento.
Póngase en contacto con el distribuidor especializado para posibles reparaciones o sustitución
de piezas.
Anualmente o más regularmente
La silla de ruedas debe superar una inspección y una sesión de mantenimiento realizados por el
distribuidor especializado por lo menos una vez al año, o con mayor frecuencia. La frecuencia
mínima de mantenimiento depende del uso y debe, por tanto, acordarse mutuamente con el
distribuidor especializado.
5.2 Instrucciones de mantenimiento
5.2.1 Limpieza
Los cojines de asiento granulados pueden lavarse con un paño húmedo y con un jabón suave si
fuera necesario. Las fundas acolchadas pueden lavarse a máquina a 60 °C. No usar productos
de limpieza abrasivos.
5.3 Vida útil prevista
La vida útil media de la silla de ruedas es de 5 años. La vida útil aumentará o disminuirá
dependiendo de la frecuencia de uso, las circunstancias de conducción y el mantenimiento.
5.4 Reutilizar
Antes de reutilizar, desinfectar, inspeccionar y hacer un mantenimiento del sistema de asiento
granulado según como se indica en manual de instrucciones para Inovys II.

5.5 Fin de vida útil
Al final de la vida útil, deberá desechar la silla de ruedas siguiendo las leyes medioambientales
de su localidad. Para transportar materiales reciclables de la silla de ruedas de manera más
cómoda, se recomienda que se desmonte primero.

2.1 Przewidziane zastosowanie
• System siedziska granulkowego jest przeznaczony do stosowania z wózkiem inwalidzkim
Inovys II z kołami T30 i modyfikacjami ramy, które dostosowują wózek do systemu siedziska
granulkowego.
• Wskazania i przeciwwskazania: Wózek inwalidzki z systemem siedziska granulkowego jest

3.1 Przesiadanie się na wózek i z niego
Ryzyko obrażeń

3.3 Regulacje elementów mających wpływ na wygodę użytkowania
3.3.1 Nachylenie oparcia i siedziska
Asystent może jednocześnie lub niezależnie regulować nachylenie siedziska i oparcia. Upewnij
się, że pacjent siedzi na wózku, podczas gdy asystent reguluje nachylenie oparcia. Dopilnuj, aby
wózek nie mógł się przewrócić.
Nachylenie siedziska:
1. Ściśnij dźwignię (3) na lewym uchwycie (patrz
etykieta) w kierunku uchwytu, aby ustawić nachylenie
siedziska.
2. Pociągnij/popchnij siedzisko do żądanego położenia
(od 0° do + 30°), sprężyna gazowa zostanie
ściśnięta/wysunięta.
3. Puść dźwignię (3), aby zablokować sprężynę gazową.
Nachylenie oparcia:
1. Ściśnij dźwignię (3) na prawym uchwycie (patrz etykieta) w kierunku uchwytu, aby
ustawić kąt oparcia.
2. Pociągnij/popchnij oparcie do żądanego położenia (od 0° do + 45°), sprężyna
gazowa zostanie ściśnięta/wysunięta.
3. Puść dźwignię (3), aby zablokować sprężynę gazową.

1. Lekko odkręć pokrętło (4) po obu stronach podnóżka.

Podpórkę pod stopę można ustawić w jednym z 3 położeń.
1. Lekko odkręć pokrętło (5) po obu stronach podpórki.
2. Obróć podpórkę w górę/w dół do uzyskania żądanego kąta.
3. Mocno dokręć pokrętła (5).
3.3.4 Zagłówek
Wysokość i kąt zagłówka można dowolnie ustawić. Aby
zmienić położenie zagłówka: poluzuj odpowiednią
dźwignię/odpowiednie pokrętło, jak podano poniżej, ustaw
zagłówek w żądanym położeniu i zaciśnij dźwignię/dokręć
pokrętło.

2.1 Určené použití
• Granulový sedací systém je konstruován k použití spolu s invalidním vozíkem Inovys II se
systémem kol T30 a úpravami rámu pro tento granulový sedací systém.
• Indikace a kontraindikace: Invalidní vozík s granulovým sedacím systémem je určen pro
pasivní uživatele invalidního vozíku, jako jsou staří lidé či osoby s obtížemi při chůzi nebo
nechodící (např. ochrnutí, ztráta končetin, defekty či deformace končetin, ztuhlé nebo
poškozené klouby, srdeční nedostatečnost a špatný krevní oběh, poruchy rovnováhy, kachexie
(snížení svalové hmoty) atd.). Uživatel musí nechat invalidní vozík tlačit asistentem.
• Tento invalidní vozík je vhodný pro domácí a venkovní použití.
• Tento invalidní vozík je konstruován a vyroben výhradně k přepravě/přemístění jedné (1)
osoby o max. hmotnosti 135 kg. Není konstruován pro přepravu zboží či předmětů ani pro
jakýkoli jiný účel, než je popsán výše.
• Používejte pouze příslušenství a náhradní díly schválené společností Vermeiren.
• Přečtěte si všechny technické detaily a omezení tohoto invalidního vozíku v kapitole 6.
• Záruka na tento výrobek je založena na běžném použití a údržbě, jak je to popsáno v tomto
návodu. V případě poškození výrobku způsobeného nesprávným použitím či absencí údržby

2.2 Obecné bezpečnostní pokyny

3 Používání invalidního vozíku
Riziko zranění
• Nejprve si přečtěte předchozí kapitoly a seznamte se se zamýšleným použitím. Invalidní vozík
NIKDY nepoužívejte, dokud si nepřečtete a plně neporozumíte všem pokynům.
• V případě pochybností či dotazů bez obav požádejte svého místního odborného prodejce,
poskytovatele péče nebo technického poradce, aby vám pomohl.
3.1 Přesun na invalidní vozík nebo z něj
Riziko zranění
• Nemůžete-li přesun provést bezpečně, požádejte někoho o asistenci.
• Nestůjte na nožních deskách.
1. Umístěte invalidní vozík co nejblíže k židli, posteli či pohovce, kde se chcete přesunout na
vozík nebo z něj.
2. Ověřte, že jsou zaktivovány obě brzdy invalidního vozíku.
3. Sklopte nožní desky nahoru, aby se na nich nedalo stát.
4. Přesuňte se na invalidní vozík či z něj s pomocí asistenta či zdvihacího zařízení.
3.1.1 Správná poloha v invalidním vozíku
Doporučení pro komfortní použití invalidního vozíku:
• Zajistěte polohu zad co nejblíže k opěradlu.
• stehenní část nohou musí být vodorovně.
3.2 Bubnové brzdy
Riziko zranění
• Před uvolněním brzd ověřte, že je invalidní vozík na rovném vodorovném povrchu.
• Nikdy neuvolňujte obě brzdy současně.
• Při parkování nebo stání ve svahu použijte po zastavení parkovací brzdy.
• Seřízení brzd smí provádět pouze odborný prodejce.
Obsluha bubnových brzd:
1. Stisknutím zatáhněte za brzdové páčky (1).
2. Každou brzdovou páčku (1) lze zaaretovat stlačením
pojistné páčky (2) prstem dolů.
3. Uvolněte brzdové páčky (1).
Opětovný pohyb/jízda:
1. Stisknutím zatáhněte za brzdové páčky (1). Pojistná páčka
se (2) se tímto pohybem sama uvolní.
2. Přidržte pevně rukojeti a současně s tím uvolněte brzdové
páčky (1).

3.3 Úpravy komfortu
3.3.1 Nastavení sklonu opěradla a sedadla
Sklon sedadla a opěradla může být nastaven asistentem společně
nebo odděleně. Při nastavení sklonu opěradla asistentem dbejte na
to, aby pacient seděl v invalidním vozíku a aby nedošlo k jeho
překlopení.
Sklon sedadla:
1. Sklon sedadla nastavíte stisknutím páčky (3) na levé
rukojeti (viz štítek) směrem k rukojeti.
2. Vytáhněte/zatlačte sedadlo do potřebné polohy (0 až +30°); dojde ke stlačení
tlakové pružiny dovnitř/ven.
3. Povolením páčky (3) tlakovou pružinu zaaretujte.
Sklon opěradla:
1. Úhel opěradla nastavíte stisknutím páčky (3) na levé rukojeti (viz štítek) směrem
k rukojeti.
2. Vytáhněte/zatlačte opěradlo do potřebné polohy (0 až +45°), dojde ke stlačení

3. Povolením páčky (3) tlakovou pružinu zaaretujte.
3.3.2 Náklon nožní opěrky
Nožní opěrku lze nastavit do 6 poloh.
1. Trochu povolte hvězdicový knoflík (4) na každé straně nožní
opěrky.
2. Zvedněte/snižte nožní opěrku nahoru/dolů, dokud není dosažen
potřebný úhel.
3. Znovu řádně utáhněte hvězdicové knoflíky (4).
3.3.3 Úhel nožní desky
Nožní desku lze nastavit do 3 poloh.
1. Trochu povolte hvězdicový knoflík (5) na každé straně nožní
desky.
2. Otočte nožní desku nahoru/dolů, dokud není dosažen potřebný
úhel.
3. Znovu řádně utáhněte hvězdicové knoflíky (5).
3.3.4 Opěrka hlavy
Opěrka hlavy je plně výškově a úhlově nastavitelná. Změna
polohy opěrky hlavy: povolte příslušnou páčku/hvězdicový
knoflík, viz níže, nastavte opěrku hlavy do potřebné polohy
a řádně ji/jej utáhněte.
[6] nastavení opěrky hlavy do stran,
[7] otáčení opěrky hlavy (360°),
[8] nastavení opěrky hlavy dopředu/dozadu,
[9] nastavení výšky opěrky hlavy.
Chcete-li opěrku hlavy vyjmout, povolte páčku (9) a
vytáhněte opěrku hlavy z držáku.

4 Instalace a seřízení
Důležité poznámky
• Uvědomte si technické údaje a limity zamýšleného použití.
• Pro další informace se obraťte na společnost Vermeiren.
4.1 Nástroje
Pro (de)montáž a seřízení invalidního vozíku jsou potřeba následující nástroje:
• Sada inbusových klíčů č. 4
4.2 Rozsah dodávky
Součástí dodávky jsou následující položky:
• rám se sedadlem, opěradlo, kolečka, loketní opěrky, nožní opěrka a granulový sedací
systém L70,
• opěrka hlavy,
• návod k obsluze.
Před použitím zkontrolujte, že nic nechybí a že nejsou poškozeny žádné výrobky.
Poznámka: základní konfigurace se může v různých evropských zemích lišit. Obraťte se na
odborného prodejce.
4.3 Sestavení
Invalidní vozík je dodáván plně sestaven s výjimkou opěrky hlavy, bočních opěrných polštářů
opěradla a sedadla a volitelných podložek pod ruce.
• Opěrku hlavy lze namontovat a nastavit podle pokynů v §3.3.4 .
• Polštáře se snadno připevňují pomocí zipů. Štítek na každém polštáři označuje konkrétní
místo a směr umístění polštáře (viz příklady níže).
Riziko zranění či poškození
Invalidní vozík musí být (de)montován a seřízen odborným prodejcem podle pokynů v této
kapitole.
Používejte pouze díly a nástroje popsané v tomto návodu.
Při (de)montáži a provozu invalidního vozíku musíte zajistit, aby se mezi díly neskříply žádné
předměty ani části těla.
Před jízdou ověřte, že jsou všechny šrouby řádně utaženy.

4.4 Seřízení
4.4.1 Délka nožní opěrky
Délku nožní opěrky lze nastavit do 4 poloh.
1. Sejměte granulové čalounění L70 (1) z rámu nožní
opěrky.
2. Odeberte dolní pěnovou ochranu (2) z trubek nožní
opěrky.
3. Povolte a odeberte spoj šroub-matice (3) na každé
straně nožní opěrky.
4. Posouvejte vnitřními trubkami s nožní opěrkou
nahoru/dolů ve vnějších trubkách rámu, dokud
nedocílíte potřebné délky.
5. Vložte zpět šrouby (3) a rukou je řádně utáhněte.
6. Vraťte zpět pěnovou ochranu (2).
7. Nasaďte zpět granulové čalounění (1) na rám nožní
opěrky.

5 Údržba
Dodržujte pokyny k údržbě v návodu k obsluze Inovys II.
5.1 Body údržby
Riziko zranění a poškození
Opravy a výměny smějí provádět pouze vyškolené osoby. Přitom je třeba používat pouze
originální náhradní díly společnosti Vermeiren.
Servisní intervaly závisejí na intenzitě a frekvenci používání. Požádejte svého prodejce o
společnou dohodu na rozvrhu kontrol/údržby/servisu/oprav.

Před každým použitím
Zkontrolujte následující body:
• Všechny části: Přítomné a nepoškozené či neopotřebené.
• Všechny části: Čisté.
• Sedadlo, lýtkové opěrky, loketní opěrky, nožní desky: Dobře zajištěné.
• Všechny zipy: zavřené.
• Stav součástí rámu: Žádná deformace, nestabilita, zeslabení nebo uvolněné spoje
• Sedadlo, opěradlo, loketní opěrky, nožní opěrka a opěrka hlavy: Bez nadměrného
opotřebení (např. promáčknutá místa, poškození nebo roztržení).
• Brzdy: Nepoškozené a funkční.
Pro případné opravy či výměny částí se obraťte na svého odborného prodejce.
Ročně nebo častěji
Tento invalidní vozík nechte u odborného prodejce ke kontrole a provedení servisu alespoň
jednou ročně nebo častěji. Minimální četnost údržby závisí na používání, a proto by měla být
společně dohodnuta s vaším odborným prodejcem.
5.2 Pokyny k údržbě
5.2.1 Čištění
Granulové čalounění sedadla lze čistit vlhkou (ne mokrou) textilií a v případě potřeby jemným
domácím mýdlem. Plyšové potahy lze prát v pračce při teplotě 60 °C. Nepoužívejte abrazivní
čisticí prostředky.
5.3 Životnost výrobku
Průměrná životnost tohoto invalidního vozíku je 5 let. V závislosti na četnosti použití, jízdních
podmínkách a údržbě se životnost tohoto invalidního vozíku prodlouží nebo zkrátí.
5.4 Znovupoužití výrobku
Před každým dalším použitím nechte granulový sedací systém dezinfikovat, zkontrolovat a
provést servis podle pokynů v návodu Inovys II.
5.5 Likvidace výrobku
Po skončení životnosti musí být invalidní vozík zlikvidován podle místní legislativy pro životní
prostředí. Nejlepším způsobem likvidace je rozebrání invalidního vozíku pro usnadnění přepravy
recyklovatelných součástí.
