Basic operation 3.1 Installing the driver ® Windows 98SE users: Please download the driver from www.x-micro.com and install it. After installation is complete, please restart your computer. For ® Windows Me/2000/XP users, no driver is required. 3.2 Connecting the player to a USB port z Connect the player into your PC USB port via the USB cable. z The screen displays "USB Connected", indicating that the player is in USB mode. The player is then automatically recognized (in 'My Computer') as a removable media device. 3.3 Transferring files Transfer files to or from the internal Flash RAM using Windows explorer. 4. How to use the player 4.1 Installing the battery and earphones z Inserting 1 AAA/LR3 battery into the battery compartment. z Connect the earphone to the earphone socket. 4.2 Turn on the player z Unlock the player. z Press the button to power the player on and enter the MUSIC standby mode. 5 4.3 Turn off the player z Press and hold the  button for about 3 seconds to turn off the player 5. Main menu From standby or playing mode, you can press the MENU button to enter the main menu and then press the  or  button to select a menu (Play music, Voice mode, Settings, Preview, About, Folder and Exit ) Move to the desired selection and press the MENU button to enter. 5.1 z z z Play music Use the player controls to adjust playback and volume level. Press the button to start music playback You can press the A-B/REC button while the music is playing to repeatedly listen to a designated section of a track. 5.2 Voice Mode z From music mode or voice standby mode, press the A-B/REC button for 2 seconds, and Voice Recording will start. z Press the A-B/REC button again to stop z Press the MENU button to enter the menu. z Select Voice in the Menu and press the  button to enter voice mode. z Use the Skip control pad to select the recording voice file (e.g. MIC00001.WAV). Press the  button to start playback. 6. FM Tuner 6.1 FM Radio z Press the  button to preset FM stations. Press again to exit z Press the  or  button to skip to other FM radio stations, which are found and locked automatically by the player. 6 z To manually seek an FM radio station, press and hold the  or  button. z Press the MENU button to exit the FM radio. 6.2 FM radio Recording z In FM mode, press A-B/REC for 2 seconds to begin recording. z Press the A-B/REC button again to stop FM radio recording. 6.3 z z z Playback an FM radio recording file Select Voice in the Menu to enter voice mode. Use the Skip control pad to select a voice file (e.g. FM000001.WAV). Press the  button to playback the recording. 7. Setting 7.1 Setting Menu z There are several settings, such as Equalizer, Repeat, Contrast, Backlight, Power Saving Mode, Record and Language, in the Settings menu. z Select a setting and use Skip control pad to change the setting. z Press the  button to save the selected setting. 8. Previous function z Preview all files in Music or Voice mode. z Press the  or  button to select the music preview function setting, and then press the button to enter. z The player will play the initial 10 seconds of each music file and then skip to the next one. To stop and exit the preview function, please press the MENU button. 7 9. About You can view the total memory and available memory from the “About” menu. 10. Folder function This function enables you to play or delete Music or Voice files. z Press the Menu button to enter the Folder mode. z Press the Menu button to enter the desired folder. z Press the  or  button to select the desired file and press the MENU button; it will display Play or Delete options. Dateien übertragen 3.1 Installieren des Treibers ® Für Nutzer von Windows 98SE: Bitte laden Sie den Treiber von www.x-micro.com herunter und installieren ihn. Nachdem die Installation abgeschlossen ist, starten Sie Ihren Computer bitte neu. Unter den ® Betriebssystemen Windows Me/2000/XP ist kein Treiber erforderlich. 3.2 Player mit einem USB-Port verbinden z Schließen Sie den Player über das USB-Kabel an einen freien USB-Port Ihres PCs an. z „USB-Verbindung“ erscheint im Display und zeigt an, dass sich der Player im USB-Modus befindet. Der Player wird nun automatisch erkannt und als Wechseldatenträger im „Arbeitsplatz“ angezeigt. 3.3 Dateien übertragen Dateien übertragen Sie auf die gewohnte Weise (wie beim Kopieren); dazu können Sie den Windows Explorer oder ein besseres Programm verwenden. 4. Verwenden des Players 4.1 Batterien einlegen und Kopfhörer anschließen z Legen Sie eine AAA/LR3-Batterie in das Batteriefach ein. z Verbinden Sie den Kopfhörer mit dem Kopfhöreranschluss. 4.2 Einschalten des Players z Geben Sie die Bedientasten des Players mit der Sperrtaste frei (sofern noch nicht geschehen). z Drücken Sie die Taste, um den Player einzuschalten und in den MUSIK-Standbymodus zu gelangen. 10 4.3 Player ausschalten z Halten Sie die Taste  für 3 Sekunden gedrückt, um den Player auszuschalten. 5. Hauptmenü Sie können im Standby- oder Wiedergabemodus die MENU-Taste drücken, um das Hauptmenü zu öffnen. Verwenden Sie dann die Taste  oder , um ein Untermenü (Musikwiedergabe, Voice mode, Settings, Preview , About , Folder und Beenden) auszuwählen. Drücken Sie die MENU-Taste, um Ihre Auswahl zu bestätigen. 5.1 Musikwiedergabe z Verwenden Sie die Steuerelemente am Player, um die Wiedergabe und die Lautstärke zu steuern. z Drücken Sie die Taste , um die Musikwiedergabe zu starten. z Sie können während der Musikwiedergabe die A-B/REC-Taste drücken, um einen bestimmten Abschnitt wiederholt wiederzugeben. 5.2 Sprachmodus z Drücken Sie im Musikmodus oder Sprach-Standby-Modus die A-B/REC-Taste für 2 Sekunden, um die Sprachaufnahme zu starten. z Drücken Sie erneut die A-B/REC-Taste, um die Aufnahme zu beenden. z Drücken Sie die Menu-Taste, um das Menü zu öffnen. z Wählen Sie Sprachmodus aus dem Menü und drücken dann die Taste , um in den Sprachmodus zu gelangen. z Verwenden Sie die Vorherige- oder Nächste-Taste, um die aufgenommene Datei (z.B. Drücken Sie noch einmal darauf, um die Suche zu beenden. z Drücken Sie die Taste  oder , um zu einer anderen zuvor automatisch vom Player ermittelten und gespeicherten FM-Radiostation zu springen. z Halten Sie die Taste  oder  gedrückt, um eine FM-Radiostation manuell zu suchen. z Drücken Sie die Menu-Taste, um den FM-Radioempfang zu beenden. 6.2 FM-Radioaufnahme z Drücken Sie im FM-Modus die A-B/REC-Taste für 2 Sekunden, um die Aufnahme zu starten. z Drücken Sie erneut die A-B/REC-Taste, um die FM-Radioaufnahme zu beenden. 6.3 Wiedergeben einer FM-Radioaufnahmedatei z Im UKW-Modus halten Sie die Wiedergabe-Taste kurze Zeit gedrückt und lassen sie danach los. Die aktuelle Radiosendung wird aufgezeichnet. z Verwenden Sie die Vorherige- oder Nächste-Taste, um eine Sprachdatei (z.B. MIC00001.WAV) auszuwählen. z Drücken Sie die Taste , um die Aufnahme wiederzugeben. 7. Einstellungen 7.1 Einstellungsmenü 12 z In dem Einstellungsmenü können Sie Einstellungen für verschiedene Funktionen wie z.B. den Equalizer, die Wiederholung, den Kontrast, die Hintergrundbeleuchtung, den Energiesparmodus, die Aufnahme und die Sprache vornehmen. z Wählen Sie eine Einstellung aus und ändern Sie die Einstellung mit den Vorwärts- und Rückwärtstasten. z Drücken Sie die Taste , um Ihre Einstellung zu speichern. 8. Vorschaufunktion z Mit dieser Funktionen können Sie eine Vorschau von jeder Datei im Musik- oder Sprachmodus erhalten. z Drücken Sie die Taste  oder , um die Musikvorschaufunktion zu wählen. Drücken Sie die Taste, um zu dieser Funktion zu gelangen. z Der Player gibt die ersten 10 Sekunden jeder Musikdatei wieder und springt dann zur nächsten. Utilisation de base 3.1 Installer le pilote ® Utilisateurs Windows 98SE: Veuillez télécharger le pilote à partir de www.x-micro.com et l'installer. Pour les utilisateurs Windows Me/2000/XP, aucun pilote n'est requis. 3.2 Connecter le lecteur à un port USB z Connectez le lecteur au port USB du PC avec le câble USB. z L'écran affiche "USB Connecté", indiquant que le lecteur est dans le mode USB. Le lecteur est ensuite automatiquement reconnu (dans "Poste de travail") comme périphérique multimédia amovible. 3.3 Transférer des fichiers Transférer des fichiers de et vers la RAM instantanée interne avec l'explorateur Windows. 4. Comment utiliser le lecteur 4.1 Installation de la pile et des écouteurs z Insérez 1 pile AAA/LR3 dans le logement à pile z Branchez les écouteurs sur la prise écouteurs 4.2 Allumer le lecteur z Déverrouillez le lecteur. z Appuyez sur le bouton pour mettre sous tension le lecteur et entrer dans le mode de veille MUSIQUE. 16 4.3 Éteindre le lecteur z Appuyez et maintenez le bouton pendant environ 3 secondes pour éteindre le lecteur. 5. Menu principal A partir du menu de veille ou de lecture, vous pouvez appuyer sur le bouton MENU pour entrer dans le menu principal, puis appuyer sur le bouton  ou  pour sélectionner un menu (Lecture de musique, Mode vocal, Réglages, Prévisualisation, A propos, Dossier et Quitter ) Déplacez-vous vers la sélection souhaitée et appuyez sur le bouton MENU pour y entrer. 5.1 Lire de la musique z Utilisez les commandes du lecteur pour régler la lecture et le niveau du volume. z Appuyez sur le boutonpour démarrer la lecture de musique z Vous pouvez appuyer sur le bouton A-B/ENREG pendant la lecture de musique pour écouter en boucle un passage choisi du morceau. 5.2 Mode vocal z A partir du mode musique ou du mode de veille vocale, appuyez sur le bouton A-B/ENREG pendant 2 secondes, pour démarrer l'Enregistrement Vocal. z Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton A-B/ENREG pour arrêter z Appuyez sur le bouton Menu pour entrer dans le menu. z Sélectionnez Voix dans le Menu et appuyez sur le bouton  pour entrer en mode vocal. z Utilisez le pavé de commande Sauter pour sélectionner le fichier vocal d'enregistrement (ex: MIC00001.WAV). Appuyez sur le bouton pour démarrer la lecture. 17 6. Syntoniseur FM 6.1 Radio FM z Appuyez sur le bouton  pour les stations FM prédéfinies. Appuyez de nouveau pour quitter z Appuyez sur les boutons  ou  pour sauter à d'autres stations radio FM, qui sont trouvés et verrouillées automatiquement par le lecteur. z Pour chercher manuellement une radio station FM, appuyez et maintenez les boutons  ou . z Appuyez sur le bouton Menu pour quitter la radio FM. 6.2 Enregistrement radio FM z En mode FM, appuyez sur A-B/ENREG pendant 2 secondes pour commencer à enregistrer. z Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton A-B/ENREG pour arrêter l'enregistrement de la radio FM. 6.3 Lecture d'un fichier d'enregistrement radio FM z Utilisez le pavé de commande Sauter pour sélectionner un fichier vocal (ex: FM000001.WAV). z Appuyez sur le bouton pour relire l'enregistrement. 7. Réglages 7.1 Menu réglages z Il y a plusieurs réglages, tels que Égaliseur, Répétition, Contraste, Rétroéclairage, Mode d'économie d'énergie, Enregistrement et Langue, dans le menu Réglages. z Sélectionnez un réglage et utilisez le pavé de commande de saut pour modifier le paramètre. z Appuyez sur le bouton  pour enregistrer le réglage sélectionné. 18 8. Basisgebruik 3.1 Het stuurprogramma installeren ® Onder Windows 98SE: download het stuurprogramma van www.x-micro.com en installeer het. Na de installatie herstart u de computer. ® Onder Windows Me/2000/XP is er geen stuurprogramma nodig. 3.2 De speler aansluiten met usb z Sluit de speler aan op de usb-aansluiting van de computer met behulp van de usb-kabel. z Het scherm toont "USB Connected" (Usb-verbinding), wat betekent dat de speler in de usb-stand staat. De speler wordt automatisch herkend (in 'Deze computer') als een verwisselbaar media-apparaat. 3.3 Bestanden versturen U kunt bestanden met het interne flashgeheugen uitwisselen met de Verkenner van Windows. 4. De speler gebruiken 4.1 De batterij en oortelefoon installeren z Plaats 1 AAA/LR3-batterij in het batterijvak. z Sluit de oortelefoon aan op de oortelefoonaansluiting. 4.2 De speler inschakelen z Deblokkeer de speler. z Druk op de knop  om de speler in te schakelen en naar de 21 stand-bymodus van MUSIC (MUZIEK) te gaan. 4.3 De speler uitschakelen z Houd de knopongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt om de speler uit te schakelen. 5. Hoofdmenu Vanaf de stand-by- of weergavemodus kunt u op de knop MENU drukken om het hoofdmenu te openen en vervolgens op de knop  of  drukken om een menu te selecteren (Play music (Muziek afspelen), Voice mode (Spraakmodus), Settings (Instellingen), Preview (Voorbeeld), About (Info), Folder (Map) en Exit (Afsluiten)). Ga naar de gewenste selectie en druk op de knop MENU om deze te openen. 5.1 Play music (Muziek afspelen) z Gebruik de bedieningselementen van de speler om de weergave en het volumeniveau aan te passen. z Druk op de knop  om het afspelen van de muziek te starten z U kunt op de knop A-B/REC drukken terwijl de muziek wordt afgespeeld om een bepaald gedeelte van een nummer herhaald te beluisteren. 5.2 Voice Mode (Spraakmodus) z Druk in de muziekmodus of de stand-bymodus van de spraak gedurende 2 seconden op de knop A-B/REC. De spraakopname wordt gestart. z Druk opnieuw op de knop A-B/REC om de opname te stoppen z Druk op de knop Menu om het menu te openen. z Selecteer Voice (Spraak) in het Menu en druk op de knop  om de spraakmodus te openen. 22 z Gebruik het bedieningselement Skip (Overslaan) om het spraakopnamebestand (bijv. MIC00001.WAV) te selecteren. Druk op de knop om het afspelen te starten . 6. FM-radio 6.1 FM Radio z Druk op de knop  om FM-stations vooraf in te stellen. Druk opnieuw om af te sluiten. z Druk op de knoppen  or  om naar andere radiostations te zoeken. De speler zal zich automatisch op de gevonden stations instellen. z Om handmatig een FM-zender te zoeken, houdt u de knop  or  ingedrukt. z Druk op de knop Menu om de FM-radio af te sluiten. 6.2 FM-radio-opname z Druk in de FM-modus gedurende 2 seconden op A-B/REC om de opname te starten z Druk opnieuw op de knop A-B/REC om de FM-radio-opname te stoppen. 6.3 Een FM-radio-opnamebestand afspelen z Ga naar de muziekstand door de knop Menu ingedrukt te houden. z Gebruik het bedieningselement Skip (Overslaan) om een spraakbestand (bijv. FM000001.WAV) te selecteren. z Druk op de knop om het afspelen te starten. 23 7. Setting (Instelling) 7.1 Setting Menu (Menu Instelling) z Het menu Settings (Instellingen) bevat verschillende instellingen, zoals Equalizer, Repeat (Herhalen), Contrast, Backlight (Achtergrondverlichting), Power Saving Mode (Energiespaarstand), Record (Opname) en Language (Taal). z Selecteer een instelling en gebruik het bedieningspaneel Skip (Overslaan) om de instelling te wijzigen. z Druk op de knop  om de geselecteerde instelling op te slaan.. 8. Functie Preview (Voorbeeld) z Bekijk een voorbeeld van alle bestanden in de muziek- of spraakmodus. z Druk op de knop  of  om de instelling voor de muziekvoorbeeldfunctie te selecteren en druk vervolgens op de knop  om de instellingen te openen.. z De speler zal de eerste 10 seconden van elk muziekbestand afspelen en vervolgens naar het volgende nummer springen. Om te stoppen en de voorbeeldfunctie af te sluiten, drukt u op de knop MENU. 9. About (Info) U kunt het totale geheugen en het beschikbare geheugen controleren via het menu “About (Info)”. 10.
