Lisez attentivement le mode d'emploi avant d'utiliser l'appareil et conservez-le. 1/ AVERTISSEMENT ET SECURITE -Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions préalables concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil. Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil. Ne jamais laisser sans surveillance lors de son utilisation. -ATTENTION ! Danger de brûlures! Quand l'appareil est en marche, certaines surfaces s'échauffent. Toujours utiliser uniquement les poignées pour ouvrir ou fermer le gaufrier. Ne pas toucher les éléments chauds comme indiqué sur le schéma n°2. Même après avoir débranché l'appareil, ces surfaces restent encore chaudes pendant un certain temps et peuvent donc encore causer des brûlures. Laisser entièrement refroidir l'appareil avant de la déplacer, le brosser ou le ranger. -Ne pas mettre les parties électriques en contact avec l’eau. -Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des personnes de qualification similaire afin d'éviter un danger. -L'appareil doit être raccordé à la terre. -Débrancher la prise quand l'appareil n'est pas utilisé ou avant le nettoyage. -Toujours placer l'appareil sur une surface stable pour éviter que l'appareil ne puisse basculer ou glisser. Tenir éloigné de toute paroi et de tout élément sensible à la chaleur. -Pour les modèles 522xx, ne pas utiliser le gaufrier avec les deux côtés relevés (schéma 3). Seule la partie supérieur du gaufrier peut être laissée en appui sur le support si le gaufrier doit rester ouvert. -Manipuler avec précaution les plateaux en Inox ou mettre des gants pour éviter les risques éventuels de coupures. -Stocker le gaufrier dans un endroit sec et à l'abri de l'humidité. Allergie: Le gaufrier a été huilé en usine avec de l'huile d'arachide. La "recuisson" (cfr point 3/) peut laisser des traces d'arachides dans le gaufrier. 2/ AVANT TOUTE UTILISATION - Sortir le gaufrier de la boîte en carton - Fixer les poignées (voir indications spécifiques). Suivant le modèle, le montage est peut-être déjà effectué. Toujours vérifier que celles-ci sont bien fixées. -Retirer le film plastique de protection des plateaux et éléments en inox (schéma 1) -Pour les modèles 522xx: (schéma 4) * mettre le plateau de propreté en dessous du gaufrier a) * insérer le système Z pour bloquer l'ouverture b) -Vérifier que le voltage indiqué sur l'appareil est le même que votre installation. 3/ MISE EN SERVICE Avant la mise en service normale, le gaufrier AMPI doit toujours être « recuit », voici la procédure à suivre : 1.Bien graisser les deux faces du gaufrier avec de l'huile comestible prévue pour la cuisson. 2.Fermer le gaufrier à l’aide des poignées. 3.Mettre le gaufrier sous tension (mettre la prise). 4.Allumer l’interrupteur (A) et tourner le thermostat sur 10. Le laisser chauffer pendant 1 heure et veiller à bien répartir l'huile sur les deux faces. Graisser à plusieurs reprises par fine couche 5.Eteindre le gaufrier et le laisser refroidir ouvert pendant une heure. La fonte sera ainsi recouverte d'une fine pellicule de graisse. 6.Utiliser une pâte contenant uniquement un mélange de farine et d'eau et cuire quelques gaufres pour nettoyer le gaufrier. Les gaufres seront noires de saletés. 7.Après ce nettoyage, regraisser le gaufrier avant d'utiliser la pâte normale. Attention : Pendant cette mise en service l'appareil produira de la fumée. Ceci est normal... Veillez à faire cette opération dans un local bien aéré. 4/ UTILISATION DU GAUFRIER -Préparer votre pâte en fonction de la recette choisie. -Avant de cuire, préchauffer le gaufrier à la température voulue. -L'appareil est équipé d'un thermostat avec 10 positions. Chaque position est un multiple de 30°C. donc pour fixer la température voulue sur 120°C. = thermostat 4. Pour 180°C = thermostat 6, etc… -Le lampe témoin B s'éteint lorsque le gaufrier est arrivé à la température choisie. -Vous pouvez maintenant ajouter votre pâte à gaufres. Astuce: S'il arrive qu'une gaufre colle pendant la cuisson, c'est que le gaufrier est trop chaud. Réglez alors le thermostat sur une température légèrement inférieure. 5/ NETTOYAGE DU GAUFRIER -Pour nettoyer le gaufrier, ne jamais plonger celui-ci dans l'eau ou dans un autre liquide.. Cette opération va créer de la fumée. Veillez à effectuer cette opération dans un local bien aéré. -Quand le gaufrier est encore chaud, mettre le thermostat au maximum (position 10) et une fois arrivé à température, le laisser chauffer pendant +/- 60 minutes afin de brûler toutes les matières. -Eteindre le gaufrier et retirer la fiche de la prise. -Attendre qu'il refroidisse et ensuite brosser le gaufrier à l'aide d'une brosse métallique. Voir schéma 6 -Graisser le gaufrier juste après nettoyage avant de le ranger. -Seuls les plateaux de propreté amovibles en inox peuvent être immergés, nettoyés à l'eau ou au lave vaisselle. (schéma 4 ou 5 suivant modèle) EN Please read the instruction manual carefully before you take the appliance into use. Save these instructions ! 1.SAFETY PRESCRIPTIONS - This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. -ATTENTION ! Burning danger ! When using this appliance, certain surfaces will be get hot. Only touch the handles to open or close the appliance. Never touch the parts mentioned ( see image 2). Even after switching off the appliance, some surfaces will; remain hot for some times, causing the risk of burns. Let the appliance cool off entirely before moving, brushing or storing it. - Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid. - If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer or by an authorized service center to avoid risk. -the appliance is the same as your installation -Remove the plug from the power point when the appliance is not in use or before cleaning or moving. - Always place the appliance on a solid and flat base, so that the appliance won’t move or turn over. Keep away from wall and any items sensitive to heat. -Do not use and let the appliance as showed in image 3. Only open the upper part of the waffle machine. - Handle with care stainless steel trays or wear gloves to avoid possible risks of cuts. - Keep the appliance in a dry place and protected from moisture. Allergy: The appliance has been oiled the first time with Peanut oil (arachis oil). The over-heated procedure may let some trace of Peanut oil in the iron.(see point 3/) 2.BEFORE THE FIRST USE: Take the appliance out of the box Fix strongly the handles ( see specific instructions). Depending on the model, the handles will be already fixed. Control if the handles are well fixed. Remove the plastic and foam protection from the trays if needed (see image 1) For model 522xx (see image 4) * Place the protect tray as showed a) * Place the Z system as showed b) Check that the voltage on 3. STARTUP Before it is put into normal use for the first time, the waffle iron must always be “over-heated”. To do so, it is essential to proceed in the following manner: 1.Carefully grease the two inner surfaces of the appliance with cooking oil 2.Close the appliance with handles 3.Connect the power 4.Turn the switch and set the thermostat to the maximum, i.e. l0. Let the closed iron heat up for about 1 hour. If it is a reversible type of iron, tip it occasionally from one side to the other, to spread the oil over the two surfaces. Ensure that the surfaces of the appliance are always sufficiently greased during the recooking operation 5.After that, turn off the switch and let the appliance cool down 6.It is advisable at the end of this operation to clean it and to cook a batter consisting solely of a mixture of flour and water. But a normal batter can also be used… The first waffles are black with dirt… When the waffles are clean, re-grease the appliance and start cooking normally. Attention: Upon the first use, there might be a slight odor or smoke output. This is normal. Be sure to do this operation in a well-ventilated place . 4. USE - Based on your recipe, prepare your dough - Before cooking, prewarm the appliance to the temperature requested The appliance is equipped with a thermostatic control with 10 positions. Each level is a multiple of 30°C. For example to put the appliance on 120°C, put on the level 4. For 180°C, put on 6, etc... The lamp B is off when appliance as reached the requested temperature. You can start cooking... Tip:If a waffle sticks while it is being cooked, it is because the appliance is too hot. The temperature should therefore be turned down slightly and duration of the cooking increased. 5.CLEANING -To clean the appliance, never immerse it in water ! The heating elements will be destroyed. This operation will create smoke, be sure to do this operation in a well-ventilated place . -When the appliance is still hot , put the thermostat on the maximum 10 during more than 60 minutes to burn the waste matter., -Turn off the appliance -Wait until the appliance has cooled and then brush it with a metal brush (like showed picture 6) -Grease the appliance after cleaning and before storage - The trays in stainless steel are removable, enabling them to be washed in plenty of water or in a dishwasher (see image 4 or 5). Handle them carefully (or ware gloves) to cancel risk of cutting because of some sharping ridge. NL Lees aandachtig de gebruiksaanwijzing vooraleer het toestel te gebruiken en bewaar deze. 1/ WAARSCHUWINGEN EN VEILIGHEID - Dit toestel is niet voorzien voor gebruik door personen (onder wie kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten, of personen zonder enige ervaring of kennis, behalve als ze onder toezicht staan van iemand die instaat voor hun veiligheid of als ze vooraf instructies gekregen hebben over het gebruik van het toestel. Houd kinderen in het oog om ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet met het toestel spelen. Laat het toestel niet onbewaakt achter tijdens het gebruik. - OPGEPAST! Gevaar voor brandwonden! Wanneer het toestel werkt, worden sommige oppervlakken heet. Gebruik uitsluitend de handvatten om het wafelijzer open of dicht te doen. Raak de hete delen die weergegeven zijn op schema (2) niet aan. Zelfs nadat de stekker uit het toestel is getrokken, blijven die oppervlakken nog een tijdje heet en kunnen dus nog brandwonden veroorzaken. Laat het toestel volledig afkoelen vooraleer het te verplaatsen, schoon te borstelen of op te bergen. - Breng de elektrische onderdelen niet in contact met water. - Om gevaar te vermijden, moet een beschadigd snoer vervangen worden door de fabrikant, zijn dienst na verkoop of iemand met een vergelijkbare kwalificatie. - Het toestel moet geaard worden. - Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het toestel niet gebruikt wordt of om het te reinigen. - Plaats het toestel altijd op een stabiel oppervlak om te vermijden dat het kantel of wegglijdt. Houd het ver van wanden en van elk element dat gevoelig is voor warmte. - Voor model 52xxx, gebruik het wafelijzer nooit met beide zijden rechtop (schema (3)). Alleen het bovenste deel van het wafelijzer mag tegen de houder steunen als het moet open blijven. - Behandel de roestvaststalen platen voorzichtig of doe handschoenen aan om eventuele risico's op snijwonden te vermijden. - Bewaar het wafelijzer op een droge plaats, beschut tegen vocht. Allergie: Het wafelijzer werd in de fabriek ingeolied met arachideolie. Door het "inbakken" (zie verder onder punt 3/) kunnen sporen van arachideolie in het wafelijzer achterblijven. 2/ VOOR ELK GEBRUIK - Haal het wafelijzer uit zijn kartonnen doos - Bevestig de handvatten (zie specifieke aanduidingen). Bij bepaalde modellen zijn de handvatten al aangebracht. Controleer of ze stevig bevestigd zijn. - Verwijder de plastic beschermfolie van de platen en de roestvaststalen elementen (zie schema 1) -Bij modellen 52xxx (zie schema 4) : De vuilopvangschaal onder het wafelijzer aan [a)] Breng het systeem Z aan om openen te beletten [b)] - Controleer of de opgegeven spanning op het toestel dezelfde is als van uw elektrische installatie. 3/ INDIENSTSTELLING Vóór de normale indienststelling moet het AMPI-wafelijzer altijd "ingebakken" worden. Doe dit als volgt: 1.Smeer de twee zijden van het wafelijzer in met voor het bakken geschikte voedingsolie. 2.Sluit het wafelijzer met behulp van de handgrepen. 3.Zet het wafelijzer onder spanning (door de stekker in het stopcontact te steken). 4.Schakel het toestel in door de schakelaar aan te zetten en zet de thermostaat op 10. Laat gedurende 1 uur opwarmen en zorg ervoor dat de olie goed over de twee zijden verdeeld wordt. Smeer de twee zijden herhaaldelijk met telkens een dun laagje olie in. 5.Schakel het wafelijzer uit en laat het in de open stand gedurende een uur afkoelen. Het gietijzeren gedeelte zal bedekt zijn met een fijn vettig laagje. 6.Gebruik deeg dat uitsluitend gemaakt is van bloem en water en bak daarmee enkele wafels om het wafelijzer te reinigen. De wafels zullen zwart zijn van het vuil. 7.Na deze initiële reinigingsbeurt smeert u het wafelijzer weer in vooraleer normaal deeg te gebruiken. Aandacht: Tijdens deze indienststelling zal het toestel rook produceren. Dit is normaal. Zorg er dus voor dit te doen in een goed verlucht lokaal.
