ACHTUNG
• Das Ladegerät nicht in Wasser oder Flüssigkeiten legen oder dort
aufbewahren, wo es in eine Wanne oder ein Waschbecken fallen
oder gezogen werden kann. Nicht nach dem Gerät greifen, wenn
es ins Wasser gefallen ist. Sofort den Stecker ziehen.
• Dieses Gerät enthält einen nicht austauschbaren Akku. Das Gerät
darf nicht geöffnet und demontiert werden. Den Akku entsorgen
Sie bitte mit dem ganzen Gerät bei einer kommunalen Recycling-
bzw. Altgerätesammelstelle. Ein Öffnen des Handstücks würde
das Gerät zerstören und die Garantie außer Kraft setzen.
• Beim Ziehen des Steckers immer den Stecker greifen, nicht das
Kabel. Den Stecker nicht mit nassen Händen berühren. Dies
kann zu einem Stromschlag führen.
• Wenn Sie sich in zahnärztlicher Behandlung befinden, sollten Sie
vor Verwendung dieser Zahnbürste Ihren Zahnarzt kontaktieren.
• Diese Zahnbürste ist ein Gerät zur individuellen Mundpflege und
ist nicht für die Verwendung durch mehrere Patienten in
Zahnarztpraxen oder -Institutionen geeignet.
• Nur zum Zähneputzen. Nicht auf die Zahnbürste beißen oder auf
ihr kauen. Nicht als Spielzeug oder ohne Aufsicht eines
Erwachsenen verwenden.
Um einem Bruch der Aufsteckbürste vorzubeugen, was dazu führen
könnte, dass Kleinteile verschluckt oder die Zähne beschädigt
werden, beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Stellen Sie vor jeder Verwendung sicher, dass die Aufsteckbürste
korrekt aufgesetzt wurde. Verwenden Sie die Zahnbürste nicht
weiter, wenn die Aufsteckbürste nicht mehr richtig passt.
Verwenden Sie die Zahnbürste nie ohne Aufsteckbürste.
• Falls die Zahnbürste heruntergefallen ist, wechseln Sie die
Aufsteckbürste vor der nächsten Verwendung, auch wenn kein
sichtbarer Schaden entstanden ist.
• Die Aufsteckbürste alle 3 Monate wechseln oder früher, wenn der
Bürstenkopf abgenutzt ist.
• Reinigen Sie die Aufsteckbürste nach jeder Verwendung
gründlich (siehe Abschnitt «Reinigungsempfehlungen»). Eine
gründliche Reinigung stellt die sichere Nutzung und Funktionali-
tät der Zahnbürste sicher.
Wichtige Information
• Ihre Oral-B Zahnbürste kann mit Ihrem Smartphone verwendet
werden (Details finden Sie im Abschnitt «Ihre Zahnbürste mit
Ihrem Smartphone verbinden»).
• Um elektromagnetische Interferenzen und/oder Kompatibili-
tätskonflikte zu verhindern, schalten Sie die Funkübertragung
vor der Verwendung in beschränkten Umgebungen, wie z.B. in
Flugzeugen oder in bestimmten Bereichen in Krankenhäusern,
aus. Deaktivieren Sie die Funkverbindung, wenn Ihre Zahn-
bürste ausgeschaltet ist, indem Sie den Ein/Aus Schalter (c)
für 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Alle Anzeigeleuchten (b,e & f)
werden gleichzeitig blinken. Verfahren Sie genauso, um die
Funkverbindung wieder zu aktivieren.
Achtung: Jedes Mal, wenn Sie Ihre Zahnbürste nach einer
Verwendung ohne Funkverbindung ausschalten, blinken die
Anzeigeleuchten simultan.
• Personen, die einen Herzschrittmacher tragen, sollten die
Zahnbürste im eingeschalteten Zustand stets mehr als
15 Zentimeter vom Herzschrittmacher entfernt halten.
Deaktivieren Sie die Funkverbindung Ihrer Zahnbürste jedes
Mal, wenn Sie eine Interferenz vermuten.

Aufladen und Anschließen
Ihre Zahnbürste hat ein wasserfestes Handstück, ist elektrisch
sicher und kann ohne Bedenken im Bad benutzt werden.
• Sie können die Zahnbürste sofort verwenden oder sie vor der
Verwendung kurz über das am Strom angeschlossene Ladeteil
laden (g).
Anmerkung: Wenn der Akku leer ist (kein Leuchten der
Ladekontrollleuchte während des Ladevorgangs oder keine
Reaktion beim Drücken des Ein-/Ausschalters (c)), laden Sie die
Zahnbürste mindestens 30 Minuten.
• Die grüne Ladekontrollleuchte (e) blinkt, während das Handstück
aufgeladen wird. Wenn die Zahnbürste vollständig aufgeladen
ist, erlischt das Licht. Eine Vollladung dauert typischerweise
12 Stunden und ermöglicht Ihnen eine Nutzung von mindestens
zwei Wochen bei regelmäßigem Putzen (zweimal pro Tag 2
Minuten) (Bild 1). Bitte beachten Sie: Nach einer Tiefenentla-
dung ist es möglich, dass das grüne Licht nicht sofort blinkt; dies
kann bis zu 30 Minuten dauern.
• Wenn der Akkuladestand niedrig ist, blinkt die rote Niedrig-Lade-
kontrollleuchte (f) für einige Sekunden und der Motor reduziert
seine Geschwindigkeit, wenn Sie die Zahnbürste ein- bzw.
ausschalten. Sobald der Akku leer ist, stoppt der Motor; der Akku
muss für die nächste Verwendung mindestens 30 Minuten laden.

• Sie können das Handstück immer auf dem am Strom ange-
schlossenen Ladeteil aufbewahren; ein Überladen ist nicht
möglich. Bitte beachten Sie: Bewahren Sie das Handstück für
eine optimale Batteriewartung bei Raumtemperatur auf.
Achtung: Vermeiden Sie Temperaturen von über 50°C.
Putzanleitung
Putztechnik
Befeuchten Sie den Bürstenkopf und tragen Sie eine beliebige
Zahnpasta Ihrer Wahl auf. Um ein Verspritzen der Zahnpasta zu
vermeiden, führen Sie die Bürste an die Zähne, bevor Sie das Gerät
einschalten (Bild 2).
Wenn Sie eine oszillierend-rotierende Aufsteckbürste von
Oral-B benutzen, führen Sie diese langsam von Zahn zu Zahn und
halten Sie den Bürstenkopf für einige Sekunden auf der Zahnober-
fläche (Bild 5).
Unabhängig von der Aufsteckbürste beginnen Sie zunächst mit
den Außenseiten, anschließend den Innenseiten und putzen Sie
zuletzt die Kauflächen. Putzen Sie alle vier Kieferquadranten
gleichmäßig.
Um mehr über die korrekte Putztechnik für Sie zu erfahren, fragen
Sie Ihren Zahnarzt oder Dentalhygieniker.
In den ersten Tagen der Verwendung Ihrer Zahnbürste kann es zu
leichtem Zahnfleischbluten kommen. In der Regel hört dies nach
einigen Tagen auf. Falls es länger als 2 Wochen andauert, sollten
Sie Ihren Zahnarzt aufsuchen. Falls Sie empfindliche/s Zähne und/
oder Zahnfleisch haben, empfiehlt Ihnen Oral-B den «Sensitive»
Modus zu benutzen (optional in Kombination mit einer Oral-B
«Sensitive»-Aufsteckbürste).

Ihre Zahnbürste startet automatisch im Modus «Tägliche
Reinigung». Um zu den anderen Modi zu wechseln, drücken Sie
den Ein-/Ausschalter (Bild 6). Um die Zahnbürste auszuschalten,
halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter gedrückt, bis der Motor stoppt.
Anmerkung: Sie können die Putzmodus-Funktionalitäten auch via
Oral-B™ App einstellen/erweitern.
Professional Timer
Ein kurzes, stotterndes Geräusch erinnert Sie in 30-Sekunden-
Intervallen, alle vier Kieferquadranten gleich lang zu putzen
(Bild 4). Ein längeres, stotterndes Geräusch zeigt das Erreichen
der vom Zahnarzt empfohlenen zweiminütigen Putzzeit an. Wenn
das Handstück kurzzeitig während des Putzens ausgeschaltet
wird, speichert die Zahnbürste die ausgeführte Putzzeit für
30 Sekunden. Der Timer wird in die Ausgangsstellung zurückge-
setzt, wenn die Unterbrechung länger als 30 Sekunden andauert.
Anmerkung: Sie können die Timer-Funktionalitäten auch via
Oral-B™ App einstellen/erweitern.
Andruckkontrolle
Wenn Sie beim Zähneputzen zu starken Druck ausüben, leuchtet
die rote Andruckkontrollleuchte (b) auf und erinnert Sie daran, den
Druck zu verringern. Zudem werden die Pulsationen langsamer
und hören schließlich auf und die oszillierende Rotation des
Bürstenkopfes wird reduziert (im Modus «Tägliche Reinigung»,
«Pro Clean» und «Sensitiv») (Bild 3).
Prüfen Sie regelmäßig die Funktion der Andruckkontrolle, indem
Sie während der Nutzung leicht gegen die Aufsteckbürste drücken.
Aufsteckbürsten
Oral-B bietet Ihnen eine Auswahl verschiedener Aufsteckbürsten,
welche auf Ihre Oral-B Zahnbürste passen.
Die Oral-B Sensi UltraThin Aufsteckbürste
verfügt über eine Kombination von normalen
Borsten, um die Zahnoberfläche zu reinigen und
ultra-dünne Borsten für ein sanftes Putzerlebnis am
Zahnfleisch.
Die meisten Oral-B Aufsteckbürsten verfügen über blaue
INDICATOR
®
-Borsten, die Ihnen anzeigen, wann die Aufsteck-
bürste getauscht werden sollte. Bei gründlichem Putzen, zweimal
täglich für zwei Minuten, verblasst die blaue Farbe in etwa 3 Mona-
ten zur Hälfte und zeigt damit an, dass die Aufsteckbürste gewech-
selt werden sollte. Falls die blaue Farbe bereits vorher erblasst,
üben Sie ggf. zu viel Druck auf Ihre Zähne und Ihr Zahnfleisch aus.
Wir empfehlen, die Oral-B «Tiefenreinigung» und «3D White»
Aufsteckbürsten nicht bei festsitzenden Zahnspangen zu
verwenden. Sie können alternativ die Oral-B «Ortho Care»
Aufsteckbürste verwenden, die speziell für Zahnspangenträger
entwickelt wurde.
Ihre Zahnbürste mit Ihrem Smartphone
verbinden
Die Oral-B™ App ist für Mobiltelefone mit iOS oder Android
Betriebssystem verfügbar. Laden Sie die Oral-B™ App gratis im
App Store
(SM)
oder bei Google Play™ herunter.
Die Oral-B™ App gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Ihren Putzfortschritt
zu erfassen und die Einstellungen Ihrer Zahnbürste zu
personalisieren.
• Starten Sie die Oral-B™ App. Die App wird Sie durch den
gesamten Bluetooth-Verbindungsprozess führen.
• Achtung: Die Funktionsweise der Oral-B™ App ist eingeschränkt,
wenn die Bluetooth-Verbindung auf Ihrem Smartphone deaktiviert
ist (eine Anleitung dazu finden Sie in der Gebrauchsanleitung
Ihres Smartphones).
• Sobald Sie die App dazu auffordert, aktivieren Sie die Bluetooth-
Verbindung, indem Sie die Zahnbürste von dem eingesteckten
Ladeteil (g) nehmen oder Ihre Zahnbürste kurz ein- und
ausschalten (c). Sie verbindet sich dann automatisch mit der
Oral-B™ App.

Smartphone während der Verwendung halten. Stellen Sie vor der
Verwendung sicher, dass Ihr Smartphone in die Halterung passt
und stabil steht.
Bitte beachten Sie: Ihr Smartphone muss Bluetooth 4.0 (oder eine
höhere Version)/ Bluetooth Smart unterstützen, um sich mit dem
Handstück Ihrer Zahnbürste verbinden zu können. Alle
kompatiblen Smartphones sind im App Store

Achtung: Beachten Sie das Benutzerhandbuch Ihres Smartphones
um sicherzustellen, dass Ihr Smartphone/Ladegerät für die
Benutzung im Badezimmer geeignet ist.
Reinigungsempfehlungen
Spülen Sie die Aufsteckbürste nach jedem Gebrauch bei
eingeschaltetem Handstück gründlich unter fließendem Wasser für
einige Sekunden ab. Schalten Sie das Handstück aus und
entfernen Sie die Aufsteckbürste. Spülen Sie beide Teile separat
unter fließendem Wasser und trocknen Sie diese vor dem
Zusammensetzen der Zahnbürste ab. Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung
den Stecker des Ladeteils aus der Steckdose. Das
Aufbewahrungsfach für Aufsteckbürsten mit Schutzabdeckung (h),
die Halterung für Aufsteckbürsten (i), und die Smartphone-
Halterung (j) sind spülmaschinengeeignet. Das Ladeteil (g), das
Reise-Etui (k) und der Aufbewahrungsbeutel für das Ladeteil (l)
sollten ausschließlich mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden
(Bild 7). Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie das Handstück/die
Aufsteckbürsten nur sauber und trocken im Reise-Etui (k)
aufbewahren.

Umweltinformation
D
ieses Gerät enthält Akkus und/oder recylingfähigen
Elektroschrott. Im Sinne des Umweltschutzes darf
dieses Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit
dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung
kann über lokal autorisierte Rückgabe- und
Sammelstellen erfolgen.
Garantie
Wir gewähren für dieses Produkt eine zweijährige Garantie, die mit
dem Kaufdatum beginnt. Innerhalb der Garantiefrist beseitigen wir
Mängel am Gerät aufgrund von Material- oder Verarbeitungsfeh-
lern kostenlos, nach unserem Ermessen entweder durch Reparatur
oder den kompletten Ersatz des Geräts. Je nach Verfügbarkeit
kann der Austausch eines Geräts dazu führen, dass Sie eine
andere Farbe oder ein gleichwertiges Modell erhalten.
Diese Garantie kann in allen Ländern in Anspruch genommen
werden, in denen dieses Gerät von Braun oder dessen autorisier-
ten Händlern vertrieben wird. Von dieser Garantie sind ausgenom-
men: Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, normaler
Verschleiß, insbesondere die Aufsteckbürsten betreffend, und
Abnutzung sowie Mängel, die den Wert oder die Gebrauchstaug-
lichkeit des Geräts nur unerheblich beeinflussen.
Diese Garantie erlischt bei Reparaturen durch nicht autorisierte
Personen sowie bei Verwendung anderer Teile als der Original-Er-
satzteile von Braun.
Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Bluetooth Smart genehmigten
Funkmodul ausgestattet. Sollte sich eine Bluetooth Smart-Verbin-
dung zu einem spezifischen Smartphone nicht herstellen lassen,
wird dieser Fall nicht von der Garantie gedeckt, außer wenn das
Bluetooth Funkmodul selbst beschädigt ist. Die Bluetooth Geräte
unterliegen der Garantie des eigenen Herstellers und nicht der von
Oral-B. Oral-B beeinflusst nicht und macht keine Empfehlungen
gegenüber den Geräteherstellern, weshalb Oral-B keine
Verantwortung für die Anzahl der kompatiblen Geräte mit unseren
eigenen Bluetooth-Systemen übernimmt.
Oral-B behält sich das Recht vor, ohne vorherige Ankündigung,
mögliche technische Modifizierungen oder Änderungen bei der
System-Implementierung von Gerätefunktionen, Schnittstellen und
Änderungen der Menüstruktur zu machen, welche für notwendig
erachtet werden, um sicherzustellen, dass Oral-B-Systeme
zuverlässig funktionieren.
Um den Service innerhalb der Garantiefrist in Anspruch zu
nehmen, reichen Sie das komplette Gerät zusammen mit Ihrem
Kaufbeleg an einem von Braun autorisierten Oral-B Kundenbetreu-
ungszentrum ein oder schicken Sie es per Post.

Bluetooth
®
Radiomodul
Auch wenn alle angezeigten Funktionen auf dem Bluetooth Gerät
unterstützt werden, garantiert Oral-B keine 100%-ige Verläss-
lichkeit hinsichtlich der Verbindung und der Beständigkeit der
Funktionsweise. Die Leistung und die Verlässlichkeit der
Verbindung hängen direkt vom jeweiligen verwendeten Bluetooth
Gerät, der Software Version und des Betriebssystems des
Bluetooth Gerätes sowie der auf dem Gerät seitens des Anbieters
installierten Sicherheitsvorkehrungen ab.
Oral-B hält sich strikt an den Bluetooth Standard, mit dem
Bluetooth Geräte mit Oral-B Zahnbürsten kommunizieren und
arbeiten können, und setzt diesen auch um. Wenn allerdings die
Gerätehersteller diesen Standard nicht implementiert haben, muss
mit Einschränkungen hinsichtlich der Kompatibilität mit Bluetooth
und bei den Eigenschaften gerechnet werden und der Verwender
kann funktionale und anwendungsspezifische Probleme haben.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Software auf dem Bluetooth Gerät die
Kompatibilität und Funktionsfähigkeit signifikant beeinträchtigen
kann.

Wir gewährleisten eine limitierte Garantie nur für neue Geräte, die
von der oder für die Firma Procter & Gamble, deren Partnern oder
Tochtergesellschaften («P&G») hergestellt werden und die durch
das Braun- / Oral-B-Warenzeichen, den Markennamen oder das
dazugehörige Logo identifiziert werden können. Diese limitierte
Garantie gilt nicht für Nicht-P&G-Produkte inklusive Hardware und
Software. P&G ist nicht haftbar/verantwortlich für Schäden oder
Verlust jeglicher Programme, Daten oder anderer Informationen,
die auf Medien gespeichert werden, die das Produkt enthält, oder
jegliche Nicht-P&G-Produkte oder Teile, die nicht in dieser
limitierten Garantie enthalten sind.
Diese limitierte Garantie gilt nicht für (I) Schäden durch
unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, Zweckentfremdung, falsche
Anwendung oder Nicht-P&G-Produkte; (II) Schäden durch
Reparaturen von nicht von Braun befugten Personen oder nicht
von uns autorisierten Braun-Kundendienstpartnern; (III) Produkte

Before operating this toothbrush, please read these instructions
and save this manual for future reference.

unit should no longer be used. If the prod-
uct/cord is damaged, take it to an Oral-B
Service Centre. Do not modify or repair the
product. This may cause fire, electric shock
or injury.

of experience and knowledge, if they have
been given supervision or instruction con-

• This toothbrush is a personal care device and is not intended for
use on multiple patients in a dental practice or institution.
• For tooth brushing only. Do not chew or bite on brush. Do not use
as a toy or without adult supervision.
To avoid brush head breakage which may generate a small parts
choking hazard or damage teeth:
• Prior to each use, ensure the brush head fits well. Discontinue use
of the toothbrush, if brush head no longer fit properly. Never use
without a brush head.
• If the toothbrush handle is dropped, the brush head should be
replaced before the next use even if no damage is visible
• Replace brush head every 3 months or sooner if brush head
becomes worn.
• Clean brush head properly after each use (see «Cleaning
recommendations» paragraph). Proper cleaning ensures the safe
use and functional life of the toothbrush.
Important Information
• Your Oral-B toothbrush can be used with your smartphone
(find details under «Connecting your toothbrush to your
Smartphone»).
• To avoid electromagnetic interference and/or compatibility
conflicts, deactivate the radio transmission before using it in
restricted surroundings, such as aircrafts or specially marked
areas in hospitals. Deactivate radio transmission when your
toothbrush is turned off by pressing the on/off button (c) for
3 seconds. All indicator lights (b, e & f) will flash simultaneously.
Follow the same procedure to reactivate transmission again.
Note: Every time you turn your toothbrush off, when using it
without radio transmission, the indicator lights will flash
simultaneously.
• Persons with pacemakers should always keep the toothbrush
more than six inches (15 centimeters) from the pacemaker
while turned on. Anytime you suspect interference is taking
place, deactivate the radio transmission of your toothbrush.

Charging and Operating
Your toothbrush has a waterproof handle, is electrically safe and
designed for use in the bathroom.
• You may use your toothbrush right away or charge it briefly by
placing it on the plugged-in charger (g).
Note: In case the battery is empty (no charging light illuminated (e)
while charging or no reaction when pressing the on/off button (c)),
charge at least for 30 minutes.
• The green charge indicator light (e) flashes while the handle is being
charged. Once it is fully charged, the light turns off. A full charge
typically takes 12 hours and enables at least 2 weeks of regular
brushing (twice a day, 2 minutes) (picture 1).
Note: After deep discharge, the charge indicator light might not
flash immediately; it can take up to 30 minutes.
• If the battery is running low, the red charge indicator light (f) is
flashing for a few seconds when turning your toothbrush on/off and
the motor is reducing its speed. Once the battery is empty, the
motor will stop; it will need at least a 30-minute charge for one
usage.
• You can always store the handle on the plugged-in charging unit to
maintain it at full power; a battery overcharge is prevented by
device.
Note: Store handle at room temperature for optimal battery
maintenance.
Caution: Do not expose handle to temperatures higher than 50 °C.
Using your toothbrush
Brushing technique
Wet brush head and apply any kind of toothpaste. To avoid
splashing, guide the brush head to your teeth before switching on
the appliance (picture 2). When brushing your teeth with one of the
Oral-B oscillating-rotating brush heads guide the brush head
slowly from tooth to tooth, spending a few seconds on each tooth
surface (picture 5).
With any brush head start brushing the outsides, then the insides
and finally the chewing surfaces. Brush all four quadrants of your
mouth equally.
You may also consult your dentist or dental hygienist about the right
technique for you.
In the first days of using any electric toothbrush, your gums may
bleed slightly. In general, bleeding should stop after a few days.
Should it persist after 2 weeks, please consult your dentist or dental
hygienist. If you have sensitive teeth and/or gums, Oral-B recom-
mends using the «Sensitive» mode (optional in combination with an
Oral-B «Sensitive» brush head).

Your toothbrush automatically starts in the «Daily Clean» mode.
To switch to other modes, successively press the on/off button
(picture 6). Switch off the toothbrush by holding the on/off button
until the motor stops.

Professional Timer
A short stuttering sound at 30-second intervals reminds you to
brush all four quadrants of your mouth equally (picture 4). A long
stuttering sound indicates the end of the professionally
recommended 2-minute brushing time.
If the toothbrush is turned off during brushing, the elapsed
brushing time will be memorised for 30 seconds. When pausing
longer than 30 seconds the timer resets.
Note: You can set/advance the timer functionality via Oral-B
TM
App.
Pressure sensor
If too much pressure is applied, the pressure sensor light (b) will
light up in red, notifying you to reduce pressure. In addition the
pulsation of the brush head will stop and the oscillation movement
of the brush head will be reduced (during «Daily Clean», «Pro
Clean» and «Sensitive» mode) (picture 3).
Periodically check the operation of the pressure sensor by pressing
moderately on the brush head during use.
Brush heads
Oral-B offers you a variety of different Oral-B brush heads that fit
your Oral-B toothbrush handle.
Oral-B Sensi Ultrathin brush head
features a combination of regular bristles to clean
teeth surfaces and ultrathin bristles for a gentle
brushing experience on the gumline.
Most Oral-B brush heads feature light blue INDICATOR® bristles to
help you monitor brush head replacement need. With thorough
brushing, twice a day for two minutes, the blue color will fade
halfway approximately within 3 months, indicating the need to
exchange your brush head. If the bristles splay before the color
recedes, you may exert too much pressure on teeth and gums.
We do not recommend using the Oral-B «FlossAction» or Oral-B
«3D White» brush head with braces. You may use the Oral-B «Ortho»
brush head, specifically designed to clean around braces and
wires.

Connecting your toothbrush to your
Smartphone
The Oral-B
TM
App is available for mobile devices running iOS or
Android operating systems. It can be downloaded for free from App
Store
(SM)
or Google Play™.
The Oral-B™ App gives you the opportunity to chart your brushing
progress and customize your toothbrush settings.
• Start the Oral-B™ App. It will guide you through the entire
Bluetooth pairing procedure.
Note: Oral-B™ App functionality is limited if Bluetooth is
deactivated on your smartphone (for directions please refer to
your smartphone’s user manual).
• Once the app asks you, please activate Bluetooth by lifting the
toothbrush off the plugged-in charger (g) or briefly turning your
toothbrush on and off (c). It automatically connects to the
Oral-B™ App.
• Any app instructions will be displayed on your smartphone.
• Keep your smartphone in close proximity (within 5m distance)
when using it with the handle. Make sure the smartphone is safely
positioned in a dry place.
• The smartphone holder (j) (depending on model) can hold your
smartphone while using. Before use, make sure your phone fits
the stand and keeps stable.
Note: Your smartphone must support Bluetooth 4.0 (or higher)/
Bluetooth Smart in order to pair your handle.
Caution: Follow your smartphone’s user manual to ensure your
phone/charger is designed for use in a bathroom environment.
Cleaning recommendations
After brushing, rinse your brush head under running water with the
handle switched on. Switch off and remove the brush head. Clean
handle and brush head separately; wipe them dry before
reassembling. Unplug the charging unit before cleaning. Brush
head compartment/protective cover (h), brush head holder (i) and
smartphone holder (j) are dishwasher-safe. The charger (g), travel
case (k) and charger pouch (l) should be cleaned with a damp cloth
only (picture 7). Make sure to store only cleaned and dried handle/
brush heads in the travel case (k).

Guarantee
We grant 2 years guarantee on the product commencing on the
date of purchase. Within the guarantee period we will eliminate, free
of charge, any defects in the appliance resulting from faults in
materials or workmanship, either by repairing or replacing the
complete appliance as we may choose. Depending on availability
replacement of a unit might result in a different color or an
equivalent model.
This guarantee extends to every country where this appliance is

does not cover: damage due to improper use, normal wear or use,

module. Failure to establish a Bluetooth Smart connection to
specific smart phones is not covered under the device guarantee,
unless the Bluetooth radio module of this appliance is damaged.
The Bluetooth devices are warranted by their own manufacturers
and not by Oral-B. Oral-B does not influence or make any
recommendations to device manufacturers, and therefore Oral-B
does not assume any responsibility for the number of compatible
devices with our Bluetooth systems.
Oral-B reserves the right, without any prior notice, to make any
technical modifications or changes to system implementation of
device features, interface, and menu structure changes that are
deemed necessary to ensure that Oral-B systems function reliably.
To obtain service within the guarantee period, hand in or send the
complete appliance with your sales receipt to an authorised
Oral-B Braun Customer Service Centre.

radio module
Although all indicated functions on the Bluetooth device are
supported, Oral-B does not ensure 100% reliability in connection,
and feature operation consistency. Operation performance and
connection reliability are direct consequences of each individual
Bluetooth device, software version, as well as the operating system
of those Bluetooth devices and company security regulations
implemented on the device.
Oral-B adheres to and strictly implements the Bluetooth standard
by which Bluetooth devices can communicate and function in
Oral-B toothbrushes. However, if device manufacturers fail to
implement this standard, Bluetooth compatibility and features will
be further compromised and the user may experience functional
and feature-related issues. Please note that the software on the
Bluetooth device can significantly affect compatibility and
operation.

This limited warranty applies only to the new products manufactured
by or for The Procter & Gamble Company, its Affiliates or Subsidiaries
(«P&G») that can be identified by the Braun / Oral-B trademark,
trade name, or logo affixed thereto. This limited warranty does not
apply to any non-P&G product including hardware and software.
P&G is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or
other information stored on any media contained within the product,
or any non-P&G product or part not covered by this limited warranty.
Recovery or reinstallation of programs, data or other information is
not covered under this limited warranty.
This limited warranty does not apply to (i) damage caused by acci-

to try this in a manner which will not harm your smartphone if it falls
out of the stand. Do not use in automobiles.

Chargement et information d’utilisation
Votre brosse à dents est dotée d’un manche étanche, protégé
contre les accidents électriques et conçu pour être utilisé dans une
salle de bain.
• Vous pouvez utiliser votre brosse tout de suite ou la charger en la
plaçant sur le chargeur (g) branché.
Note : Au cas où la batterie est vide (l’indicateur de charge (e) ne
s’allume pas lorsque vous chargez ou il n’y a aucune réaction
lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt (c)), chargez la
brosse pendant au moins 30 minutes.
• Le voyant lumineux vert (e) clignote indiquant que le manche est
en cours de charge. Quand la batterie est complètement
chargée, l’indicateur de charge s’éteint. Une charge complète
prend typiquement 12 heures et offre une autonomie d’au moins
2 semaines de brossage régulier (2 brossages de 2 minutes
chaque jour) (image 1).
Note : Après une décharge prolongée, il se peut que le voyant ne
s’allume pas immédiatement, cela peut prendre jusqu’à 30
minutes.
• Si la batterie est faible, l’indicateur de charge (f) clignote en
rouge pendant quelques secondes lorsque vous appuyez sur le
bouton marche/arrêt et la vitesse du moteur est réduite. Si la
batterie est vide, le moteur s’arrête; 30 minutes de charge seront
nécessaires avant le prochain brossage.
• Le manche peut rester posé sur le chargeur pour que la brosse à
dents conserve sa pleine capacité. Il n’y a aucun risque de
surcharge.
Note : Conservez le manche à température ambiante pour
l‘entretien optimal de la batterie.
Attention: Ne pas exposer le manche à des températures
supérieures à 50 ° C.
Utiliser votre brosse à dents
Technique de brossage
Humectez la brossette et appliquez du dentifrice ; vous pouvez
utiliser tous types de dentifrices. Pour éviter les éclaboussures,
placez la brossette sur vos dents avant de mettre la brosse à dents
en marche (image 2). Lorsque vous vous brossez les dents avec
une des brossettes oscillo-rotatives Oral-B, déplacez douce-
ment la brossette d’une dent à l’autre, en passant quelques
secondes sur la surface de chaque dent (image 5).
Lorsque vous vous brossez les dents avec la brossette TriZone,
placez la brosse à dents contre les dents avec une petite inclinaison
vers la gencive. Appliquez une légère pression et commencez à
brosser avec un mouvement de va-et-vient comme vous le feriez
avec une brosse à dents manuelle.
Avec toutes les brossettes, brossez les surfaces extérieures, puis
intérieures et enfin les surfaces de mastication. Brossez les quatre
quadrants de votre bouche de manière égale. Vous pouvez
également consulter votre dentiste au sujet de la technique qui
vous conviendrait.
Pendant les premiers jours d’utilisation de votre brosse à dents
électrique, il est possible que vos gencives saignent légèrement.
En général, les saignements devraient cesser au bout de quelques
jours. S’ils persistent plus de deux semaines, consultez votre
dentiste. Si vous avez des dents ou des gencives sensibles, Oral-B
vous conseille de vous brosser les dents en mode « Douceur »
(vous pouvez, si vous le souhaitez, combiner ce mode avec la
brossette Oral-B Sensitive).

Lorsque que vous pressez le bouton marche/arrêt, votre brosse à
dents se met automatiquement en mode « Propreté ». Pour passer
aux autres modes, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (image 6).
Si vous vous voulez arrêter votre brosse à dents, appuyez sur le
bouton marche/arrêt et maintenez-le enfoncé jusqu’à ce que le

Minuteur Professionnel
Un bref signal sonore toutes les 30 secondes vous rappelle de
brosser les 4 quadrants de votre bouche de manière égale
(image 4). Il indique par un long signal sonore que vous avez atteint
les 2 minutes de brossage recommandées par les dentistes. Si la
brosse à dents est arrêtée pendant le brossage, le minuteur
mémorise le temps de brossage écoulé pendant 30 secondes. Le
minuteur se remet à zéro après une pause de plus de 30 secondes.

Si trop de pression est appliquée, l’indicateur de pression lumineux
(b) s’allume en rouge, vous rappelant de réduire la pression. De
plus, les pulsations de la brosse vont s’arrêter et les mouvements
d’oscillations de la brossette vont ralentir (en mode « Propreté »,
« Pro Clean » et « Douceur » (image 3).
Vérifiez de temps en temps le bon fonctionnement du capteur en
pressant modérément sur la brossette pendant l’utilisation.
Brossettes
Oral-B vous offre un grand choix de brossettes différentes que vous
pouvez utiliser avec votre brosse à dents Oral-B.
La brossette Oral-B Sensi Ultrathin
se caractérise par une combinaison de poils
normaux pour nettoyer les surfaces des dents et des
poils ultra-fins pour une expérience de brossage en
douceur le long des gencives.
La plupart des brossettes Oral-B possèdent des poils bleus
INDICATOR
®
qui vous aident à identifier quand la brossette doit être
remplacée. Dans le cadre d’une utilisation rigoureuse, deux fois par
jour pendant deux minutes, les poils bleus se décolorent au bout
d’environ 3 mois, indiquant le besoin de remplacer la brossette. Si
les poils s’écartent avant leur décoloration, il se peut que vous
exerciez une pression trop forte sur vos dents et vos gencives.
Il est déconseillé d’utiliser les brossettes Oral-B « FlossAction » et
Oral-B « 3D White » avec des appareils orthodontiques. Dans ce cas,
nous recommandons plutôt la brossette Oral-B « Orthodontic », qui
est spécifiquement conçue pour l’hygiène des dents appareillées.
Connecter votre brosse à dents à votre
Smartphone
L’application Oral-B™ est disponible pour les appareils mobiles
sous les systèmes d’exploitation iOS ou Android. Vous pouvez la
télécharger gratuitement sur l’App Store
(SM)
ou Google Play™.
L’application Oral-B™ vous permet de suivre l’évolution de votre
brossage et de personnaliser les paramètres de votre brosse à
dents.
• Démarrez l’application Oral-B™. Elle vous guidera tout au long du
processus de couplage Bluetooth.
Remarque : Les fonctionnalités de l’application Oral-B™ seront
limitées si le Bluetooth n’est pas activé sur votre smartphone
(pour en savoir plus, veuillez vous référer au mode d’emploi de
votre smartphone).
• Une fois que l’application vous le demande, activez le Bluetooth
en soulevant le corps de brosse du chargeur branché (g) ou en
mettant en marche brièvement votre brosse (c). La brosse se
connecte automatiquement à l’application Oral-B™.
• Toute autre instruction de l’application sera affichée sur votre
Smartphone.
• Gardez votre Smartphone à proximité (à une distance de 5m)
lorsque vous l’utilisez avec votre brosse à dents. Assurez-vous
que votre Smartphone est placé en sécurité dans un endroit sec.
• Le porte smartphone (j) (suivant le modèle) sert de support pour
votre smartphone lorsque vous utilisez l’Appli. Avant toute
utilisation, assurez-vous que votre téléphone s’adapte au support
et reste stable.
Note: Votre Smartphone doit prendre en charge Bluetooth 4.0 (ou
une version supérieure)/ Bluetooth Smart afin qu’il puisse se
connecter au manche de votre brosse à dents.
Attention : Consultez la notice d’utilisation de votre Smartphone
pour vous assurer que votre téléphone/chargeur est conçu pour
être utilisé dans une salle de bain.
Recommandations d’entretien
Après le brossage, rincez la brossette à l’eau courante en laissant la
brosse à dents en marche. Arrêtez la brosse, retirez la brossette du
corps de brosse. Nettoyez les deux éléments séparément,
essuyez-les avant de les réassembler. Débranchez la base de
chargement avant de la nettoyer.
Le compartiment brossettes et le couvercle (h), le porte-brossettes
(i) et le porte smartphone (j) passent au lave-vaisselle.
Le chargeur (g), l’étui de voyage (k) et la pochette pour chargeur (l)
peuvent uniquement être nettoyés avec un chiffon humide (image
7). Ranger le manche et les brossettes dans l’étui de voyage (k)
seulement lorsqu’ils sont propres et secs.

Module Radio Bluetooth
®
Même si toutes les fonctions indiquées sur le dispositif Bluetooth
sont prises en charge, Oral-B ne garantie pas une fiabilité de
connexion à 100% et un fonctionnement homogène des caractéris-
tiques. Le fonctionnement et la fiabilité de la connexion dépendent
directement de chaque dispositif Bluetooth, de la version du logiciel
et du système d’exploitation du dispositif Bluetooth, et des règles
de sécurité que l’entreprise a installé sur le dispositif.
Oral-B applique et met en place de manière rigoureuse le standard
Bluetooth selon lequel les dispositifs Bluetooth peuvent communi-
quer et fonctionner avec les brosses à dents Oral-B. Cependant, si
le fabricant du dispositif ne met pas en place ce standard, la
compatibilité Bluetooth et les caractéristiques seront par consé-
quent compromises et l’utilisateur peut constater des problèmes de
fonctionnement ou des problèmes liés aux caractéristiques. Il faut
noter que le logiciel du dispositif Bluetooth peut affecter significati-
vement la compatibilité et le fonctionnement.

La garantie Oral-B ne sera pas appliquée si les dommages du corps
de brosse électrique rechargeable se trouvent être attribués à

Qualora il cavo o il prodotto fossero dan-
neggiati, rivolgersi a un Centro Assistenza
Oral-B. Non modificare o riparare il prodot-
to. Ciò potrebbe causare incendi, scosse
elettriche o lesioni.

Non si raccomanda l’uso da parte di bam-
bini di età inferiore a 3 anni. Gli spazzolini
possono essere utilizzati dai bambini e da
persone con capacità fisiche, sensoriali o
mentali ridotte, o che non dispongono

sarie, solo se queste vengono supervisio-

AVVERTENZA
• Non immergere il caricatore in acqua o altri liquidi e non riporlo in
luoghi da cui potrebbe cadere o essere tirato nella vasca da
bagno o nel lavandino. In caso di caduta del caricatore in acqua,
non tentare di recuperarlo. Scollegarlo immediatamente dalla
presa di alimentazione.
• Il dispositivo contiene batterie non sostituibili. Per il riciclo della
batteria smaltire l’intero dispositivo attenendosi alle normative
ambientali locali. L’apertura del manico comporta la distruzione
dell’apparecchio e invalida la garanzia.
• Quando si scollega l’unità, impugnare la spina e non il cavo di
alimentazione. Non toccare la spina con le mani bagnate: rischio
di scossa elettrica.
• In caso di trattamento concomitante a causa di disturbi del cavo
orale, consultare il dentista prima dell’uso.
• Questo spazzolino è un dispositivo per l’igiene personale e non
è inteso per l’uso su più pazienti in studi odontoiatrici o cliniche
specializzate.
• Usare solo per spazzolare i denti. Non mordere o masticare lo
spazzolino. Non usare come giocattolo o senza la supervisione di
un adulto.
Per evitare il rischio di soffocamento a causa di piccole parti in caso
di rottura della testina o eventuali danni ai denti:
• Assicurarsi che la testina sia ben inserita prima di ogni utilizzo.
Interrompere l’utilizzo dello spazzolino qualora non sia più
possibile inserire correttamente la testina. Non utilizzare mai lo
spazzolino senza una testina inserita.
• Se il manico dello spazzolino cade, sostituire la testina prima
dell’utilizzo successivo, anche in assenza di danni visibili.
• Sostituire la testina dello spazzolino ogni 3 mesi o prima se la
testina appare consumata
• Pulire la testina accuratamente dopo ogni utilizzo (consultare il
paragrafo «Consigli per la pulizia del dispositivo»). Una pulizia
corretta dello spazzolino ne assicura il funzionamento in termini di
sicurezza ed efficacia.
Informazioni importanti
• Gli spazzolini Oral-B possono essere utilizzati con uno
smartphone (per maggiori dettagli, consultare la sezione
«Collegamento dello spazzolino a uno Smartphone»).
• Per evitare interferenze elettromagnetiche e/o problemi di
compatibilità, disattivare la trasmissione radio prima di
utilizzare l’apparecchio in aree in cui è vietato, ad esempio a
bordo di velivoli, o in aree appositamente contrassegnate, ad
esempio negli ospedali. Per disattivare la trasmissione radio
quando lo spazzolino è spento, premere il tasto on/off (c) per
3 secondi. Tutte le spie (b, e, f) lampeggeranno contemporane-
amente. Per riattivare la trasmissione, seguire la stessa
procedura.
Nota: le spie lampeggiano contemporaneamente ogni volta
che si spegne lo spazzolino o lo si utilizza senza attivare la
trasmissione radio.
• I portatori di pacemaker devono sempre tenere lo spazzolino
a più di 15 centimetri dal pacemaker stesso, quando lo
spazzolino è in funzione. Ogni qualvolta si sospetti
un’interferenza, disattivare la trasmissione radio dello
spazzolino.

Ricarica e Funzionamento
Lo spazzolino ha un manico impermeabile, è sicuro dal punto di
vista elettrico e progettato per essere usato in bagno.
• E’ possibile utilizzare subito lo spazzolino oppure ricaricarlo per
poco tempo posizionandolo sull’unità di ricarica collegata (g).
Nota: In caso di batteria scarica (nessuna luce illuminata
sull’indicatore del livello di carica (e) durante la ricarica o nessuna
reazione premendo il pulsante on/off (c)), ricaricare per almeno
30 minuti.
• La spia verde lampeggiante (e) indica che il manico si sta
caricando. Quando la carica è completa, la spia si spegne. Una
carica completa richiede generalmente 12 ore e garantisce
almeno 2 settimane di utilizzo regolare (2 volte al giorno per
2 minuti) (figura 1).
Nota: Quando il livello di carica è molto basso, le spie potrebbero
non lampeggiare immediatamente; la loro attivazione può
richiedere fino a 30 minuti.
• Quando la batteria si sta scaricando, la spia rossa dell‘indicatore
di carica (f) lampeggia per alcuni secondi quando si accende lo
spazzolino con il pulsante on/off e il motore riduce la velocità.
Quando la batteria è scarica, il motore si spegne; sarà necessaria
una ricarica di almeno 30 minuti per un singolo utilizzo.
• È sempre possibile riporre il manico sull’unità di ricarica collegata
per mantenerlo sempre carico; il sovraccarico della batteria è
impedito dal dispositivo.
Nota: Conservare il manico a temperature ambiente per la
manutenzione ottimale della batteria.
Attenzione: Non esporre il manico a temperature superiori a 50
°C.
Uso dello spazzolino
Tecnica di spazzolamento
Bagnare la testina e applicare il dentifricio; si può usare qualsiasi
tipo di dentifricio. Per evitare schizzi, posizionare la testina sui denti
prima di accendere il dispositivo (figura 2). Se si spazzolano i denti
con testine oscillanti-rotanti Oral-B, spostare lentamente la
testina da un dente all’altro, tenendola sulla superficie di ogni dente
per alcuni secondi (figura 5).
Indipendentemente dal modello della testina, iniziare a spazzolare
l’esterno, poi l’interno e infine le superfici di masticazione dei denti.
Spazzolare allo stesso modo tutti i quattro quadranti della bocca.
Per la tecnica più adatta a te, chiedi consiglio al dentista o
all’igienista dentale.
Nei primi giorni di utilizzo di uno spazzolino elettrico, può verificarsi
un lieve sanguinamento delle gengive, che dovrebbe generalmente

interrompersi dopo qualche giorno. Se il sanguinamento dovesse
protrarsi per oltre 2 settimane, consultare il dentista o l’igienista
dentale. Per chi soffre di denti e/o gengive sensibili, Oral-B
raccomanda di utilizzare la modalità «Denti Sensibili» (eventual-
mente in combinazione con una testina Oral-B «Denti Sensibili»).

Lo spazzolino si attiva automaticamente in modalità «Pulizia
Quotidiana». Per cambiare modalità, premere nuovamente il
pulsante on/off (figura 6). Spegnere lo spazzolino premendo il tasto
on/off fino a quando il motore si ferma.

Timer professionale
Con un breve segnale ad intermittenza ad intervalli di 30 secondi
ricorda di spazzolare i quattro quadranti della bocca per lo stesso
periodo di tempo (figura 4). Con un segnale prolungato indica la
fine del periodo di spazzolamento consigliato dai dentisti di 2
minuti. Se lo spazzolino viene spento durante lo spazzolamento,
il tempo trascorso resterà memorizzato per 30 secondi. Se si
superano i 30 minuti di pausa, il timer si azzera.
Nota: E’ possibile impostare/preimpostare la funzione per
memorizzare il tempo di spazzolamento tramite l’App di Oral- B
TM
.
Sensore di pressione
In caso di eccessiva pressione sui denti, la spia del sensore di
pressione (b) si illumina di rosso per avvertire che bisogna ridurre la
pressione di spazzolamento. Inoltre la pulsazione della testina dello
spazzolino si bloccherà e l’oscillazione della testina si ridurrà (con
le modalità «Pulizia Quotidiana», «Pro Clean (Pulizia Profonda)» e
«Denti Sensibili») (figura 3).
Verificare il funzionamento del sensore a intervalli regolari
premendo leggermente sulla testina durante l’uso.
Testine
Oral-B offre una gamma di testine diverse, utilizzabili con gli
spazzolini elettrici Oral-B.
Testina Oral-B Sensi Ultrathin
Setole regolari per pulire la superficie dei denti con
setole ultrasottili per un delicato spazzolamento sulle
gengive.
La maggior parte delle testine Oral-B hanno setole INDICATOR
®
di
colore azzurro, che indicano quando è necessario sostituire la
testina. Eseguendo uno spazzolamento accurato, due volte al
giorno per due minuti, il colore azzurro si scolorirà nell‘arco di circa
3 mesi, indicando la necessità di sostituire la testina. Se le setole
risulteranno deformate prima dello scolorimento, probabilmente si
esercita troppa pressione sui denti e sulle gengive.
L’uso delle testine Oral-B «FlossAction» o Oral-B «3D White» è
sconsigliato per chi porta apparecchi ortodontici. Si consiglia
invece l’utilizzo di Oral-B «Ortho» appositamente studiate per pulire
attorno a fili e placchette.

Smartphone
L’app Oral-B

è disponibile per dispositivi mobili con sistema
operativo iOS o Android. È possibile scaricarla gratuitamente
dall’App Store
(SM)
o da Google Play™.
L’app Oral-B™ consente di tracciare i miglioramenti ottenuti e
personalizzare le impostazioni dello spazzolino.
• Lanciare l’app Oral-B™. L’app ti guiderà attraverso l’intera
procedura di collegamento al Bluetooth.
Nota: L’app Oral-B™ avrà funzionalità limitata se la tecnologia
wireless Bluetooth è disattivata sullo smartphone (per istruzioni,
consultare il manuale dello smartphone).
• Quando l’app lo richiede, attivare il Bluetooth sollevando lo
spazzolino dal caricabatterie collegato (g) oppure accendere e
spegnere velocemente lo spazzolino (c). Lo spazzolino si
collegherà automaticamente all’app Oral-B™.
• Tutte le istruzioni dell’app verrano visualizzate sul tuo
smartphone.
• Tenere lo smartphone a stretta vicinanza (entro 5m di distanza)
quando lo si utilizza insieme allo spazzolino. Accertarsi che lo
smartphone sia in posizione sicura, in un luogo asciutto.
• Il supporto per lo smartphone (j) (in base al modello) può
mantenere lo smartphone durante l’uso. Prima dell’uso,
assicurarsi che il telefono si adatti al supporto e si mantenga
stabile.
Nota: Per poter effettuare il collegamento con lo spazzolino, lo
smartphone deve supportare il protocollo Bluetooth 4.0 (o
superiore)/Bluetooth Smart. Puoi trovare l’elenco degli
Smartphones compatibili nell’App Store(SM) oppure Google
Play™.
Attenzione: Controlla sul manuale d’istruzioni del tuo smartphone,
il tuo telefono/caricatore dev’essere progettato per l’utilizzo in
ambienti come il bagno.
Consigli per la pulizia
Dopo l’uso, sciacquare la testina dello spazzolino sotto l’acqua corrente
tenendo il manico acceso. Quindi spegnere il manico e rimuovere la
testina. Sciacquare le 2 parti separatamente, poi asciugarle con un
panno prima di assemblare lo spazzolino. Scollegare il caricatore prima
della pulizia. Vano testina/coperchio di protezione (h), supporto testina
(i) e supporto smartphone (j) possono essere lavati in lavastoviglie. Il

dovrebbero essere puliti esclusivamente con un panno umido (figura 7).
Assicurarsi di riporre manico/testine puliti e asciutti nella custodia da
viaggio (k).
INFORMAZIONE AGLI UTILIZZATORI
Il prodotto contiene batterie e/o rifiuti elettrici
riciclabili. Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato
sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica
che il prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile deve
essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fine
vita agli idonei centri comunali di raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti
elettrotecnici ed elettronici. In alternativa alla gestione autonoma è
possibile consegnare l’apparecchiatura che si desidera smaltire al
rivenditore, al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura
di tipo equivalente. Presso i rivenditori di prodotti elettronici con
superficie di vendita di almeno 400 m2 è inoltre possibile
consegnare gratuitamente, senza obbligo di acquisto, i prodotti
elettronici da smaltire con dimensioni inferiori a 25 cm. L’adeguata
raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura

ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti
negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o
riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.
Garanzia
Il prodotto è garantito per 2 anni a partire dalla data di acquisto.
Entro il periodo di garanzia, il produttore si impegna ad eliminare,
gratuitamente, qualsiasi difetto dell’apparecchio derivante da
imperfezioni dei materiali o del processo produttivo, mediante
riparazione o sostituzione di tutto l’apparecchio, a propria
discrezione. In base alle disponibilità, la sostituzione di un’unità
potrebbe essere di un colore diverso o di un modello equivalente.
La presente garanzia si estende a tutti i Paesi nei quali l’apparecchio
è fornito da Braun o da un distributore autorizzato. La garanzia non
copre: danni dovuti ad uso improprio, normale usura o utilizzo (in
particolare le testine), né difetti che possano avere un effetto
trascurabile sul valore o sul funzionamento dell’apparecchio.
La presente garanzia decade in caso di riparazioni da parte di
personale non autorizzato e in caso di utilizzo di ricambi non originali
Braun.
Questo apparecchio è dotato di un modulo radio approvato
Bluetooth Smart. La mancata connessione Bluetooth Smart a
specifici smartphone non è coperta dalla garanzia del dispositivo, a
meno che il modulo radio Bluetooth di questo apparecchio non sia
danneggiato.
I dispositivi Bluetooth sono garantiti dai rispettivi produttori e non da
Oral-B. Oral-B non influenza o fornisce raccomandazioni ai
produttori di tali dispositivi e, pertanto, Oral-B non si assume alcuna
responsabilità per i dispositivi compatibili con i nostri sistemi
Bluetooth.
Oral-B si riserva il diritto, senza alcun preavviso, di apportare
modifiche tecniche o cambi all’implementazione del sistema delle
caratteristiche del dispositivo, dell‘interfaccia e della struttura dei
menu ritenuti necessari per garantire che i sistemi Oral-B funzionino
in modo affidabile.

®
Nonostante il supporto di tutte le funzioni indicate nel dispositivo
Bluetooth, Oral-B non garantisce un’affidabilità di connessione del
100% e un funzionamento omogeneo delle caratteristiche. Il
funzionamento e l’affidabilità della connessione dipendono
direttamente dal singolo dispositivo Bluetooth, dalla versione
software e dal sistema operativo supportato dal dispositivo
Bluetooth, nonché dalle disposizioni aziendali in materia di
sicurezza implementate nel dispositivo.
Oral-B osserva e implementa in maniera rigorosa lo standard
Bluetooth, che permette ai dispositivi Bluetooth di comunicare e
funzionare all’interno degli spazzolini Oral-B. Tuttavia, se i
produttori dei dispositivi non implementano tale standard, la
compatibilità e le caratteristiche Bluetooth possono risultare
ulteriormente compromesse e l’utente potrebbe sperimentare
problemi funzionali o legati alle caratteristiche del dispositivo.
Si ricorda inoltre che il software del dispositivo Bluetooth può
influenzarne sensibilmente la compatibilità e il funzionamento.

Service Center. Wijzig of repareer het pro-
duct niet. Dit kan brand, een elektrische
schok of verwondingen veroorzaken.

Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik
door kinderen onder de 3 jaar. De tanden-
borstels kan gebruikt worden door kinde-
ren, door personen met een lichamelijke,
zintuiglijke of mentale beperking, of door

neer zij het apparaat onder toezicht en op
een veilige manier kunnen gebruiken of
instructies hebben ontvangen over het
gebruik van het apparaat op een veilige

WAARSCHUWING
• Plaats de oplader niet in water of vloeistof of op een plaats waar
deze in het bad of in de wastafel kan vallen. Haal de oplader nooit
uit het water wanneer deze erin is gevallen. Haal de oplader on-
middellijk uit het stopcontact.
• Dit apparaat bevat batterijen die niet kunnen worden vervangen.
Het toestel niet openen en demonteren. Gelieve voor het recycle-
ren van de batterij het volledige toestel weg te gooien volgens de
lokale milieuwetgeving. Door het handvat te openen wordt het ap-
paraat vernietigd en is de garantie ongeldig. Bij het verwijderen
van de stekker uit het stopcontact houdt u altijd de stekker vast,
nooit het snoer. Raak de stekker niet aan met natte handen. Dit
kan een elektrische schok veroorzaken.
• Wanneer u onder behandeling bent voor dentale zorg, raadpleeg
uw tandarts voor gebruik van dit apparaat.
• Deze tandenborstel is een persoonlijk mondverzorgingsapparaat
dat niet bestemd is voor gebruik bij meerdere patiënten in een
tandartsenpraktijk.
• Enkel te gebruiken om tanden te poetsen. Niet op de tandenbor-
stel kauwen of bijten. Niet als speelgoed gebruiken. Uitsluitend
gebruiken onder toezicht van een volwassene.
Om te voorkomen dat de opzetborstel kapot gaat en kleine deeltjes
produceert die kunnen leiden tot stikken of de tanden kunnen
beschadigen:
• Zorg er voor elk gebruik voor dat de opzetborstel goed past. Stop
met het gebruik van de tandenborstel als de opzetborstel niet
meer goed past. Gebruik nooit zonder opzetborstel.
• Als het handvat van de tandenborstel is gevallen, dient de opzet-
borstel voor het volgende gebruik te worden vervangen, ook als er
geen zichtbare schade is.
• Vervang de opzetborstel elke 3 maanden of sneller indien de bor-
stelkop versleten is.
• Maak de opzetborstel na elk gebruik goed schoon (bekijk de para-
graaf «Adviezen voor het reinigen»). Goed schoonmaken zorgt er-
voor dat de tandenborstel veilig en langdurig functioneel kan wor-
den gebruikt.
Belangrijke informatie
• Uw Oral-B tandenborstel kan gebruikt worden met uw
smartphone (meer informatie onder «Uw tandenbortel met uw
Smartphone verbinden»).
• Om elektromagnetische en/of compatibiliteitsstoringen te
vermijden, gelieve de radiotransmissie van uw tandenborstel uit
te schakelen alvorens hem te gebruiken in een beveiligde
omgeving zoals vliegtuigen of speciaal afgebakende zones
in ziekenhuizen. Deactiveer de radiotransmissie wanneer de
tandenborstel uitgeschakeld is door gedurende 3 seconden
de aan/uit toets (c) in te drukken. Alle indicatielampjes
(b, e & f) zullen gelijktijdig knipperen. Volg dezelfde procedure
om de radiotransmissie weer te activeren.
Opmerking: Elke keer dat u de tandenborstel uitschakelt,
wanneer u hem zonder radiotransmissie gebruikt, zullen de
indicatielampjes simultaan knipperen.
• Personen met een pacemaker dienen de tandenborstel
minimaal 15 centimeter van de pacemaker af te houden als hij
aan staat. Als u op enig ogenblik een storing vermoedt, schakel
dan de radiotransmissie van de tandenborstel uit.

Voor specificaties gerelateerd aan voltage, gelieve zich te wenden

Opladen en gebruik
Uw tandenborstel heeft een waterbestendig handvat dat veilig is en
ontwikkeld voor gebruik in de badkamer.
• Je kunt je tandenborstel direct gebruiken of kort opladen door hem
op de aangesloten oplader (g) te plaatsen.
Let op: Wanneer de batterij leeg is (lampjes branden niet (e) tijdens
het opladen of als hij niet reageert wanneer je de aan/uit-knop (c)
indrukt), laat hem dan minimaal 30 minuten opladen.
• Het groene indicatorlichtje (e) knippert als het handvat aan het
opladen is. Het lichtje gaat uit zodra het handvat volledig
opgeladen is. Volledig opladen duurt over het algemeen 12 uur en
hiermee kun je minstens 2 weken regelmatig poetsen (twee keer
per dag, 2 minuten) (afbeelding 1).
Let op: Nadat hij volledig leeg is, knipperen de lampjes misschien
niet direct bij het opladen; dit kan tot 30 minuten duren.
• Wanneer de batterij leeg raakt, knippert het rode lampje (f) bij het
opladen een paar seconden wanneer je je tandenborstel aan/uit
zet en vermindert de snelheid van de motor. Als de batterij leeg is,
stopt de motor; hij zal dan ten minste 30 minuten moeten worden
opgeladen voor één gebruik.
• Je kunt het handvat altijd op de aangesloten oplader bewaren om
hem op volle kracht te houden; het toestel voorkomt dat de batterij
overladen wordt.
Let op: Bewaar het handvat op kamertemperatuur voor optimaal
onderhoud van de batterij.
Waarschuwing: Stel het handvat niet bloot aan temperaturen
hoger dan 50 °C.
Gebruik van de tandenborstel
Poetstechniek
Maak de opzetborstel nat en breng tandpasta aan; u kunt elke soort
tandpasta gebruiken. Om spetteren te voorkomen, plaats de
tandenborstel tegen uw tanden voor u de tandenborstel aan zet
(afbeelding 2). Wanneer u uw tanden poetst met een oscillerend-
roterend Oral-B opzetborsteltje, verplaats de borstelkop
langzaam van tand naar tand en blijf een aantal seconden op het
tandoppervlak (afbeelding 5).
Wanneer u de Oral-B «TriZone» opzetborstel gebruikt, plaats de
tandenborstel tegen de tanden iets schuin naar het tandvlees toe.
Oefen lichte druk uit en start met poetsen met heen- en weer-
gaande bewegingen, precies zoals u zou doen met een manuele
tandenborstel. Ongeacht de opzetborstel, poets eerst de
buitenkant, dan de binnenkant en dan de kiezen. Poets elk van de
vier kwadranten van uw mond met evenveel zorg. U kan ook uw
tandarts raadplegen voor de techniek die het best bij u past.
Het zou kunnen dat uw tandvlees licht gaat bloeden tijdens de
eerste dagen dat u de elektrische tandenborstel gebruikt. Over het
algemeen stopt het bloeden na een paar dagen. Als dit na 2 weken
aanhoudt, raadpleeg dan uw tandarts. Als u gevoelig tandvlees of
gevoelige tanden heeft, raadt Oral-B aan de poetsstand «Gevoelig»
te gebruiken (u kunt dit, als u dat wenst, combineren met een
Oral-B Sensitive opzetborstel).

poetsstand. Druk achtereenvolgend op de aan/uit-knop om van

Professionele Timer
Een kort signaal klinkt elke 30 seconden zodat u eraan herinnerd
wordt elk kwadrant van uw mond even lang te poetsen (afbeelding
4). Een lang signaal geeft aan dat u de door tandartsen aanbevolen
poetstijd van 2 minuten bereikt heeft. Wanneer de tandenborstel uit
staat tijdens het poetsen, zal de verstreken poetstijd voor
30 seconden worden onthouden.Wanneer de onderbreking
langer dan 30 seconden duurt gaat de timer terug naar starttijd.
Let op: Je kunt de functionaliteit van de timer instellen/bevorderen
via de Oral- B
TM
app.
Poetsdruksensor
Wanneer je te hard poetst, zal de poetsdruksensor (b) rood
oplichten, als waarschuwing om zachter te poetsen. Daarnaast zal
de opzetborstel stoppen met pulseren en zullen de trillende
bewegingen van de opzetborstel langzaam afnemen (tijdens
poetsstanden Dagelijkse reiniging, Pro Clean en Gevoelige tanden)
(afbeelding 3). Controleer af en toe de werking van de
poetsdruksensor door zacht op de opzetborstel te drukken tijdens
het gebruik.
Opzetborstels
Oral-B biedt een grote variatie aan verschillende opzetborstel die bij
uw Oral-B tandenborstel passen.
Oral-B Sensi Ultrathin opzetborstel
bevat een combinatie van normale borstelhaartjes
om tandoppervlakken te reinigen en superdunne
borstelhaartjes voor een zachte poetservaring op de
tandvleesrand.
De meeste Oral-B opzetborstels hebben lichtblauwe INDICATOR
®
borstelharen die je helpen bijhouden wanneer de opzetborstels aan
vervanging toe zijn. Bij grondig poetsen, tweemaal per dag
gedurende twee minuten zal de blauwe kleur vervagen in ongeveer
3 maanden en aangeven dat de opzetborstel vervangen dient te
worden. Wanneer de borstelharen wijd gaan staan vooraleer de
kleur vervaagd is, kan het zijn dat u teveel druk uitoefent op de
tanden en het tandvlees.

• Activeer de Oral-B™ App. De App zal u door de ganse Bluetooth
procedure loodsen.
Opmerking: de Oral-B™ App functie is beperkt wanneer
Bluetooth uitgeschakeld is (voor uitleg gelieve de
gebruiksaanwijzing van uw smartphone te raadplegen).
• Wanneer de App hierom vraagt, activeer Bluetooth dan door de
tandenborstel van de aangesloten oplader (g) af te halen of kort
je tandenborstel aan en uit (c) te zetten. Hij wordt automatisch
met de Oral-B™ App verbonden.
• Verdere App instructies zullen getoond worden op uw
smartphone.
• Houd uw smartphone in de buurt (binnen een straal van 5m)
wanneer u uw tandenborstel gebruikt. Leg de smartphone op een
veilige, droge plek.
• Uw smartphone mag in de houder (j) (afhankelijk van het model)
blijven zitten, wanneer u hem gebruikt. Voor gebruik, wees zeker
dat uw telefoon in de houder past en stabiel blijft zitten.
Opmerking: Uw smartphone moet Bluetooth 4.0 (of hoger)/
Bluetooth Smart ondersteunen om verbinding te kunnen maken
met uw tandenborstel.
Waarschuwing: Raadpleeg de gebruikershandleiding van je
smartphone om te controleren of je telefoon/oplader ontworpen is
voor gebruik in een badkamer.
Aanbevelingen voor het reinigen
Spoel na het poetsen de opzetborstel af onder stromend water
terwijl de tandenborstel nog aan staat. Zet de tandenborstel uit en
verwijder de opzetborstel. Reinig het handvat en de opzetborstel
afzonderlijk onder stromend water en droog beide af alvorens ze
terug in elkaar te zetten. Haal de stekker van de oplader uit het
stopcontact alvorens deze te reinigen.
Het opbergbakje voor opzetborstels/beschermende cover (h), de
houder voor opzetborstels (i) en de smartphonehouder (j) zijn
vaatwasmachinebestendig. De oplader (g), het reisetui (k) en het
tasje voor de oplader (l) dienen alleen met een vochtige doek te
worden schoongemaakt (afbeelding 7). Stop uitsluitend een
schoon en droog handvat/schone en droge opzetborstels in het
reisetui (k).
Wijzigingen voorbehouden
Mededeling ter bescherming van het
milieu
Dit product bevat oplaadbare batterijen en/of
recycleerbaar elektrisch afval. Om het milieu te
beschermen, gooi het product niet weg bij het
huishoudelijk afval. U kunt uw product inleveren bij
een goedgekeurd recyclingpunt in overeenstemming
met lokale regelgeving.
Garantie
Op dit product verlenen wij een garantie van 2 jaar geldend vanaf de
datum van aankoop. Binnen deze garantieperiode zullen eventuele
materiaal- en/of fabricagefouten gratis door ons worden verholpen,
hetzij door reparatie, hetzij door vervanging van de onderdelen of
het omruilen van het apparaat. Afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid kan
het zijn dat je een andere kleur of een gelijkwaardig model krijgt
wanneer we besluiten om je apparaat te vervangen.
Deze garantie is van toepassing in elk land waar dit apparaat wordt
geleverd door Braun of een officieel aangestelde vertegenwoordi-
ger van Braun.
Beschadigingen ten gevolge van oneigenlijk gebruik, normale
slijtage, vooral met betrekking tot de opzetborstels, evenals de
defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de waarde of
de werking van het apparaat vallen niet onder de garantie.
De garantie vervalt bij reparatie door niet door Braun erkende
service afdelingen en/of gebruik van niet originele Braun
onderdelen.
Dit toestel is voorzien van een Bluetooth Smart goedgekeurde
radiomodule. Het niet tot stand kunnen brengen van een Bluetooth
Smart verbinding met een specifieke SmartPhone valt niet onder de
garantie van het toestel, tenzij de Bluetooth radiomodule van het
toestel beschadigd is.
Bluetooth toestellen vallen onder garantie van hun producent en
niet onder die van Oral-B. Oral-B beïnvloedt noch adviseert
producenten van Bluetooth toestellen en hierdoor kan Oral-B niet
verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor het aantal toestellen dat
verenigbaar is met onze Bluetooth systemen.
Oral-B behoudt het recht om, zonder voorafgaande waarschuwing,
technische aanpassingen, wijzigingen aan systeemimplementatie
van toestelfuncties, interface en structuurwijzigingen aan het menu
uit te voeren die nodig geacht worden om de betrouwbare werking
van Oral-B systemen te verzekeren.
Om gebruik te maken van deze service binnen de garantieperiode,
dient u het complete apparaat met uw originele aankoopbewijs af te
geven of op te sturen naar een geautoriseerd Oral-B Braun Service
Center.
Informatie over de Bluetooth
®
radio module
Zelfs wanneer alle aangeduide functies op het Bluetooth toestel
ondersteund worden, garandeert Oral-B geen 100% betrouw-
baarheid voor verbinding en samenwerking van functies. De
werking en betrouwbaarheid van verbinding hangen direct samen
met elk individueel Bluetooth toestel, software versie, als ook met
het werkingssysteem van de Bluetooth toestellen en veiligheids-
regels die de producent op het toestel heeft geïnstalleerd.
Oral-B houdt vast aan en implementeert strikt de Bluetooth
standaard waarmee Bluetooth toestellen kunnen communiceren en
functioneren met Oral-B tandenborstels. Echter, wanneer
producenten nalaten deze standaard te implementeren, zullen
de Bluetooth verenigbaarheid en functies in het gedrang komen
en kan de gebruiker problemen ondervinden met de werking of
functies. Weet dat de software van het Bluetooth toestel de
verenigbaarheid en werking ernstig kan beïnvloeden.
1) Garantie – Wat niet onder garantie valt en beperkingen
Deze garantie geldt enkel voor nieuwe apparaten geproduceerd
door of voor Procter & Gamble, zijn filialen of subfilialen («P&G») die
door het Oral-B merkteken, merknaam of daartoe behorende logo

geïdentificeerd kunnen worden. Deze garantie geldt niet voor elk
apparaat dat niet van P&G is, inclusief hard- en software. P&G is
niet aansprakelijk voor beschadiging of verlies van programma’s,
data of enig andere informatie dat op dit apparaat werd opgeslaan,
of enig ander niet P&G apparaat die niet onder deze garantie valt.
Herstellen of opnieuw installeren van programma’s, data of enig
andere informatie valt niet onder deze garantie.
De garantie vervalt bij (i) beschadiging door ongeval, misbruik,
verkeerd gebruik, verwaarlozing, verkeerde toepassing of een
niet-P&G product; (ii) schade veroorzaakt door reparatie uitgevoerd
door niet erkende Braun service-afdelingen; (iii) een product of
onderdeel werd gewijzigd zonder het schriftelijke toestemmen van
P&G, en (iv) schade veroorzaakt door gebruik of het niet kunnen
gebruiken van de Oral-B Smartphone standaard/puck,
spiegelhouder voor smartphone, of het oplaadbare reisetui (zie
«Accessoires»)
2 ) Gebruik van de smartphone houder
De Oral-B Accessoires die in deze verpakking zijn inbegrepen,
zijn ontworpen om u een gemakkelijke manier aan te bieden u
smartphone te gebruiken samen met de Oral-B app. Voor gebruik,
probeer uw smartphone uit in verschillende richtingen terwijl hij in
de Oral-B houder zit om zo de beste positie te bepalen. Wanneer u
dit probeert, wees er dan zeker van dat uw smartphone niet
beschadigd kan raken wanneer hij uit de houder zou vallen. Gebruik
niet in de wagen.

Garantie opzetborstels
De Oral-B garantie vervalt wanneer de beschadiging van de Oral-B
elektrische tandenborstel te wijten is aan het gebruik van
opzetborstels anders dan die van Oral-B.
Oral-B raadt aan enkel Oral-B opzetborstels te gebruiken
• Oral-B heeft geen controle over de kwaliteit van andere dan
Oral-B opzetborstels. Bijgevolg kunnen we de reinigingswerking
van de opzetborstels niet garanderen zoals vermeld bij aankoop
van de elektrische tandenborstel.
• Oral-B kan niet garanderen dat andere dan Oral-B opzetborstels
goed passen op de elektrische tandenborstel.
• Oral-B kan het langetermijn effect van andere dan Oral-B
opzetborstels op het handvat niet voorspellen.
Alle Oral-B opzetborstels hebben het Oral-B logo en beantwoorden
aan de hoge kwaliteitsnormen van Oral-B. Oral-B verkoopt geen
opzetborstels of onderdelen onder een andere merknaam.
