SUB100S SUB100S arm for SUB-series underground drives Purpose of usage The SUB100S adapter arm is used in conjunction with swing gates, in the case of which classic installation procedures are not possible. In classic installation contexts, the pivotal point of the gate is the same as the pivotal point of the motor arm. This is very easy if the gate post is fitted at the same time as the drive; retrofitting at a later date is, however, very difficult. Either the dimensional stability is not assured or the box cannot be shifted close enough to the post. The SUB100S arm allows the pivotal points to be offset by up to 5cm in all directions around the pivotal point concerned. The maximum offset distance between the pivotal points is limited to 5cm as otherwise an extremely dangerous scissors movement between the arm and the gate may occur. Installation The arm is welded to the SUB110 or SUB180 arm with the runner roller pointing upwards. The runner roller runs in the U-rail and compensates for the pivotal point offset (max. 5cm). Installation on a wooden gate is problematical. In such cases, the U-rail needs to be extended so that it can be better screwed in place and does not loosen in the wood. Bij een klassieke installatie vormt het draaipunt van het hek tegelijkertijd het draaipunt van de motorarm. Dit is heel eenvoudig, wanneer de hekpilaren samen met de aandrijving worden geplaatst; op een later tijdstip wordt het echter moeilijker. Of de maatnauwkeurigheid kan niet worden gegarandeerd of de box kan niet dicht genoeg op de pilaar worden geschoven. Met de SUB100S-arm is een verschuiving van de draaipunten van 5 cm in alle richtingen om het draaipunt mogelijk. De verschuiving van het draaipunt is begrenst tot 5 cm omdat er anders een extreem gevaarlijke schaarbeweging tussen arm en hek ontstaat. Montage: DDe arm wordt bij de SUB-110-arm of SUB-180-arm met de looprol naar boven vastgelast. De looprol beweegt in de U-rail en compenseert het draaipuntverschil (max. 5 cm). De bevestiging aan een houten hek is kritisch en hier moet de U-rail worden verlengd, zodat deze beter kan worden vastgeschroefd en niet loslaat in het hout. 709412 Installation in cases where the space between the gate and driveway is less than 6cm The U-rail is welded to the inside of the gate frame. The lid of the drive box needs to be located at the same height as the driveway or higher. The arm no longer fits through underneath the gate. The pivotal point has to be offset on the inside of the gate. Installation where the space between gate/door and driveway is between 6cm and approx. 12cm The U-rail is welded to the inside of the gate frame. Installation where the space between the gate and driveway is more than 12cm The difference between this option and the others is that the U-rail has to be fitted directly underneath on to the gate frame. If the space is extremely large, the level has to be balanced out by putting something (flat steel bar) underneath between the motor arm and the SUB100S arm. The underground drive ought generally to be installed as close to the pivotal point as possible. The runner roller and the rail need to be greased. Lo spostamento del centro di rotazione è limitato a 5 cm, in quanto in caso contrario si avrebbe un movimento troppo pericoloso delle cesoie tra braccio e porta. Montaggio: Il braccio viene saldato sul braccio SUB-110 o SUB-180 con la carrucola di guida rivolta verso l‘alto. La carrucola scorre nella guida a U e compensa la differenza del centro di rotazione (max. 5 cm.). Il montaggio su una porta di legno presenta degli aspetti molto critici, in questo caso infatti la guida a U dovrebbe essere allungata, in modo da poterla avvitare meglio affinché non si allenti nel legno. Montaggio con una distanza inferiore a ~ 6 cm tra la porta e la via di corsa. La guida a U viene saldata sul lato interno del telaio della porta. Il coperchio della scatola di comando deve poggiare ad altezza della via di corsa o ad una altezza superiore. Il braccio non passa più sotto la porta. Il centro di rotazione deve essere spostato sul lato interno della porta. Montaggio con una distanza da 6 cm fino a circa 12 cm tra la porta e la via di corsa. La guida a U viene saldata sul lato interno del telaio della porta. Montaggio con una distanza superiore a 12 cm tra la porta e la via di corsa. La differenza rispetto alle altre varianti sta nel fatto che la guida a U viene montata direttamente sotto il telaio della porta. Se le distanze sono notevoli, tra il braccio motorizzato e il braccio SUB100S sotto viene posto per compensare il livello. In generale il comando da sottopavimento dovrebbe essere montato il più vicino possibile al centro di rotazione. La carrucola e la guida devono essere lubrificate con grasso. Het verschil met de andere varianten bestaat eruit dat de Urail direct onder aan het hekframe wordt gemonteerd. Zijn de afstanden zeer groot, wordt er tussen de motorarm en de SUB100S-arm een versteviging (plat ijzer) aangebracht om het niveau te compenseren. De ondervloeraandrijving moet in het algemeen zo dicht mogelijk bij het draaipunt worden gemonteerd. De looprol en de rail moeten worden ingevet. NL 2 709412 3
