Grüne LED zur Anzeige der Betriebsbereitschaft 2. Blaue LED zur Anzeige der aktiven Bluetooth Datenverbindung zu dem Ottobock Produkt 2.2 Funktion Der Bluetooth-Adapter BionicLink PC 60X5 ermöglicht die Kommunikation zwischen Ottobock Produkten mit integriertem Bluetooth Interface / externem Bluetooth Interface (z.B. BionicLink 60X3) und dem USB-Anschluss eines PC. 3 Verwendung 3.1 Verwendungszweck Der Bluetooth-Adapter BionicLink PC 60X5 dient ausschließlich zur Herstellung einer Datenver­ bindung zwischen dem Bluetooth Interface eines Ottobock Produkts und dem USB-Anschluss ei­ nes PC. 3.2 Qualifikation Das Produkt darf nur von Personen verwendet werden, die zuvor in der sachgemäßen Handha­ bung unterwiesen wurden. 4 Lieferumfang Anzahl 1 Stk. 1 Stk. 1 Stk. Sollte es mehrere Folgen geben, werden diese wie folgt ausgezeichnet: > z.B.: Folge 1 bei Nichtbeachtung der Gefahr > z.B.: Folge 2 bei Nichtbeachtung der Gefahr ► Mit diesem Symbol werden die Tätigkeiten/Aktionen ausgezeichnet, die beachtet/durchge­ führt werden müssen, um die Gefahr abzuwenden. 5.3 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise HINWEIS Anschluss des Produkts an einem nicht frei zugänglichen USB Anschluss des Compu­ ters Im Fehlerfall kann die Stromversorgung des Produkts nicht unverzüglich getrennt werden. ► Schließen Sie das Produkt nur an leicht zugängliche USB Anschlüsse des Computers an. HINWEIS Selbstständig vorgenommene Veränderungen bzw. Modifikationen am Produkt Fehlfunktion durch Beschädigung des Produkts. ► Lassen Sie Änderungen und Modifikationen am Produkt nur durch den autorisierten Otto­ bock Service durchführen. HINWEIS Eindringen von Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit Fehlfunktion durch Beschädigung des Produkts. ► Achten Sie darauf, dass weder feste Teilchen noch Flüssigkeit in das Produkt eindringen können. HINWEIS Mechanische Überbelastungen verursacht durch mechanische Einwirkungen bzw. Be­ lastungen von außen Fehlfunktion durch Beschädigung des Produkts. 4 | Ottobock ► Setzen Sie das Produkt keinen mechanischen Vibrationen oder Stößen aus. ► Überprüfen Sie das Produkt vor jedem Einsatz auf sichtbare Schäden. HINWEIS Betrieb des Produkts außerhalb des zulässigen Temperaturbereichs Fehlfunktion durch Beschädigung des Produkts. ► Vermeiden Sie den Betrieb des Produkts in Bereichen extremer hoher oder tiefer Tempera­ tur. Entnehmen Sie den zulässigen Temperaturbereich dem Kapitel „Technische Daten“. HINWEIS Verwendung des Produkts mit beschädigtem USB Kabel Fehlfunktion durch fehlerhafte oder unterbrochene Datenübertragung. ► Vermeiden Sie das Knicken oder Quetschen des USB Kabels. HINWEIS Unsachgemäße Pflege Beschädigung des Gehäuses durch Verwendung von Lösungsmittel wie Aceton, Benzin o.ä. ► Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Produkts ausschließlich ein feuchtes Tuch und milde Sei­ fe. HINWEIS Zu geringer Abstand zu HF Kommunikationsgeräten (z.B. Mobiltelefone, Bluetooth-Ge­ räte, WLAN-Geräte) Fehlfunktion des Produkts durch Beeinflussung der Datenübertragung. ► Es wird daher empfohlen, zu diesen HF Kommunikationsgeräten folgende Mindestabstände einzuhalten: • Mobiltelefon GSM 850 / GSM 900: 0,99m • Mobiltelefon GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 / UMTS: 0,7m • DECT Schnurlostelefone inkl. Basisstation: 0,35m • WLAN (Router, Access Points,…): 0,22m • Bluetooth Geräte (Fremdprodukte, die nicht von Ottobock freigegeben sind): 0,22m INFORMATION Beachten Sie beim Betrieb folgende Punkte: • Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht, wenn das Kabel oder das Gehäuse sichtbar beschädigt ist. Sollten Sie eine Beschädigung entdecken, schicken Sie das Produkt an eine autorisierte Otto­ bock Servicestelle. • Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig die Funktion der beiden Leuchtdioden des Produkts. Bei einem Ausfall, schicken Sie das Produkt an eine autorisierte Ottobock Servicestelle. • Die Verwendung von USB-Verlängerungen wird nicht empfohlen, da es zu Störungen kommen kann. 6 Systemanforderungen 6.1 Hardware-Voraussetzungen für den PC INFORMATION Beachten Sie zusätzlich die Hardware-Voraussetzungen der verwendeten Ottobock Software. Ottobock | 5 • • • Min. 100 MB freier Festplattenspeicher CD-ROM-/ DVD-Laufwerk USB-Anschluss 2.0 (oder höher) 6.2 Unterstützte Betriebssysteme INFORMATION Beachten Sie zusätzlich die unterstützen Betriebssysteme der verwendeten Ottobock Software. • • • • • • Microsoft Windows XP, 32 Bit Microsoft Windows Vista, 32 Bit Microsoft Windows 7, 32 Bit Microsoft Windows 7, 64 Bit Microsoft Windows 8, 64 Bit Microsoft Windows 10 7 Installation der Treibersoftware 7.1 Installation unter Windows XP Alle offenen Anwendungen schließen. 1) Die beiliegende CD in das CD/DVD-Laufwerk einlegen. 2) Den Stecker des BionicLink PC an die USB-Buchse des PC anschließen. → Die grüne LED des BionicLink PC 60X5 leuchtet. → Windows XP erkennt automatisch den BionicLink PC 60X5 und startet den Installations­ assistenten. 3) Im Dialogfenster zur Herstellung der Verbindung mit Windows Update die Option Nein, dies­ mal nicht wählen und die Schaltfläche Weiter anklicken. 4) Im Dialogfenster zur Treibersuche die automatische Treibersuche wählen und die Schaltflä­ che Weiter anklicken. INFORMATION: Sollte die automatische Treibersuche nicht vollständig funktionieren, den Laufwerksbuchstaben des CD/DVD Laufwerks manuell eingeben. 5) Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. INFORMATION: Bei Erscheinen des Hinweisfensters, in dem auf den nicht bestande­ nen Windows-Logo-Test hingewiesen wird, kann die Installation trotzdem bedenken­ los fortgesetzt werden. Dazu die entsprechende Schaltfläche anklicken. → Die Installation der Treiber erfolgt in zwei Schritten (zuerst „USB Controller“ und anschlie­ ßend „COM-Port“). Daher startet nach der Installation des „USB Controllers“ ein weiterer In­ stallationsvorgang wie im Schritt 3 bis 5 beschrieben ist. INFORMATION: Um die korrekte Installation der Treiber sicherzustellen, darf der zweite Installationsvorgang nicht abgebrochen werden. 7.2 Installation unter Windows Vista und Windows 7 Alle offenen Anwendungen schließen. 1) Die beiliegende CD in das CD/DVD-Laufwerk einlegen. 2) Im Dialogfenster die Option Setup.exe ausführen anklicken. 3) Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. INFORMATION: Bei Erscheinen des Dialogfensters, in dem auf einen nicht überprüf­ baren Herausgeber der Treibersoftware hingewiesen wird, kann die Installation trotz­ dem bedenkenlos fortgesetzt werden. Dazu im Dialogfenster die entsprechende Opti­ on anklicken. 4) Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. 6 | Ottobock 5) Beim Erscheinen des Dialogfensters über die erfolgreiche Installation des Treibers, die Schaltfläche Fertig stellen anklicken. 6) Den Stecker des BionicLink PC an die USB-Buchse des Rechners anschließen. → Die grüne LED des BionicLink PC 60X5 leuchtet. 7.3 Installation unter Windows 8 Alle offenen Anwendungen schließen. 1) Die beiliegende CD in das CD/DVD-Laufwerk einlegen. 2) Mit der Tastenkombination [Windows-Logo-Taste +E] „Computer“ öffnen. 3) Im rechten Fenster das CD-Laufwerk mit der rechten Maustaste anklicken. 4) Den Menüeintrag „Programm installieren oder ausführen“ mit der linken Maustaste ankli­ cken. → Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. INFORMATION: Bei Erscheinen des Dialogfensters, in dem „Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH“ als Herausgeber der Software angeführt ist, die Installation durch Anklicken der entsprechenden Schaltfläche fortsetzen. 1) Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. 2) Beim Erscheinen des Dialogfensters über die erfolgreiche Installation des Treibers, die Schaltfläche Fertig stellen anklicken. 3) Den Stecker des BionicLink PC an die USB-Buchse des Rechners anschließen. → Die grüne LED des BionicLink PC 60X5 leuchtet. 7.4 Installation unter Windows 10 Alle offenen Anwendungen schließen. 1) Die beiliegende CD in das CD/DVD-Laufwerk einlegen. 2) Mit der Tastenkombination [Windows-Logo-Taste +E] „Computer“ öffnen. 3) Im linken Fenster das CD-Laufwerk mit der rechten Maustaste anklicken. 4) Den Menüeintrag „Programm installieren oder ausführen“ mit der linken Maustaste ankli­ cken. → Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. INFORMATION: Bei Erscheinen des Dialogfensters, in dem „Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH“ als Herausgeber der Software angeführt ist, die Installation durch Anklicken der entsprechenden Schaltfläche fortsetzen. 1) Den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsassistenten folgen. 2) Beim Erscheinen des Dialogfensters über die erfolgreiche Installation des Treibers, die Schaltfläche Fertig stellen anklicken. 3) Den Stecker des BionicLink PC an die USB-Buchse des Rechners anschließen. → Die grüne LED des BionicLink PC 60X5 leuchtet. 8 Rechtliche Hinweise 8.1 Haftung Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den vorgegebenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller empfiehlt, das Produkt sachgemäß zu handhaben und entsprechend der Gebrauchsanweisung zu pflegen. 8.2 Warenzeichen Alle innerhalb des vorliegenden Begleitdokuments genannten Bezeichnungen unterliegen unein­ geschränkt den Bestimmungen des jeweils gültigen Kennzeichenrechts und den Rechten der je­ weiligen Eigentümer. A green LED to indicate that the adapter is ready for operation 2. A blue LED to indicate an active Bluetooth connection to the Ottobock product 2.2 Function The 60X5 BionicLink PC Bluetooth Adapter enables communication between Ottobock products with an integrated Bluetooth interface or an external Bluetooth interface (e.g., 60X3 BionicLink) and the USB port of a PC. 3 Application 3.1 Indications for use The 60X5 BionicLink PC Bluetooth Adapter is to be used solely for establishing a data connec­ tion between the Bluetooth interface of an Ottobock product and the USB port of a PC. 3.2 Qualification The product may only be used by persons who have previously been instructed in its proper use. 4 Scope of delivery Quantity Product 1 pc. If you notice that the product has been damaged in any way, please send it to an authorized Ottobock Service Centre. Check the function of the two light-emitting diodes on the product regularly. Should they fail, please return the product to an authorized Ottobock Service Centre. • The use of USB extensions is not recommended, as it may lead to disruptions. Ottobock | 11 6 System Requirements 6.1 PC hardware requirements INFORMATION Please also note the hardware requirements for the Ottobock software that is in use. • • • Min. 100 MB free hard drive space CD-ROM/DVD drive USB connector 2.0 (or higher) 6.2 Supported operating systems INFORMATION Please also note the operating systems supported by the Ottobock software. • • • • • • Microsoft Windows XP, 32 Bit Microsoft Windows Vista, 32 Bit Microsoft Windows 7, 32 Bit Microsoft Windows 7, 64 Bit Microsoft Windows 8, 64 Bit Microsoft Windows 10 7 Driver software installation 7.1 Installation in Windows XP Close all open applications. 1) Insert the enclosed CD into the CD or DVD drive. 2) Connect the BionicLink PC plug to the USB port on the PC. → The green LED on the 60X5 BionicLink PC is illuminated. → Windows XP recognises the 60X5 BionicLink PC automatically and launches the installa­ tion wizard. 3) In the dialogue window for establishing the connection to Windows Update, select the option No, not this time and click the Next button. 4) In the dialogue window for the driver search, select the automatic driver search and click the Next button. INFORMATION: If the automatic driver search does not work fully, enter the drive let­ ter of the CD/DVD drive manually. 5) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. INFORMATION: If the information window that references the failed Windows logo testing appears, the installation can still be continued regardless. To do so, click the corresponding button. → The driver is installed in two steps (first "USB Controller" and then "COM-Port"). An addition­ al installation process then starts after the installation of the "USB Controller", as described in steps 3 to 5. INFORMATION: To ensure the correct installation of the driver, the second installation process must not be cancelled. 7.2 Installation in Windows Vista and Windows 7 Close all open applications. 1) Insert the enclosed CD into the CD or DVD drive. 2) In the dialogue window, select the option Run Setup.exe. 12 | Ottobock 3) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. INFORMATION: If the information window that references a driver software publisher that cannot be verified appears, the installation can still be continued regardless. To do so, click the corresponding option in the dialogue window. 4) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. 5) When the dialogue window informing you that the driver has been installed successfully appears, click the Finish button. 6) Connect the BionicLink PC plug to the USB socket on the computer. → The green LED on the 60X5 BionicLink PC is illuminated. 7.3 Installation in Windows 8 Close all open applications. 1) Insert the enclosed CD into the CD or DVD drive. 2) Open "Computer" with the key combination [Windows logo key +E]. 3) Right-click the CD drive in the right-hand window. 4) Left-click the menu item "Install or run program". → Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. INFORMATION: When the dialogue window stating that "Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH" is the publisher of the software appears, continue the installation by clicking the corresponding button. 1) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. 2) When the dialogue window informing you that the driver has been installed successfully appears, click the Finish button. 3) Connect the BionicLink PC plug to the USB socket on the computer. → The green LED on the 60X5 BionicLink PC is illuminated. 7.4 Installation in Windows 10 Close all open applications. 1) Insert the enclosed CD into the CD or DVD drive. 2) Open "Computer" with the key combination [Windows logo key +E]. 3) Right-click the CD drive in the left window. 4) Left-click the menu item "Install or run program". → Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. INFORMATION: When the dialogue window stating that "Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH" is the publisher of the software appears, continue the installation by clicking the corresponding button. 1) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard. 2) When the dialogue window informing you that the driver has been installed successfully appears, click the Finish button. 3) Connect the BionicLink PC plug to the USB socket on the computer. → The green LED on the 60X5 BionicLink PC is illuminated. 8 Legal Information 8.1 Liability The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used under the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer recommends that the device be used properly and maintained in accordance with the instructions for use. INFORMATION: Si la recherche de pilote automatique ne devait pas fonctionner cor­ rectement, entrez manuellement la lettre du lecteur CD/DVD. 5) Suivez les nouvelles instructions de l’assistant d’installation. INFORMATION: Lorsque la fenêtre d’avertissement apparaît, indiquant l’échec du test d’obtention du logo Windows, vous pouvez tout de même poursuivre sans problème l’installation. Pour cela, cliquez sur le bouton correspondant. → L’installation des pilotes s’effectue en deux étapes (d’abord « USB Controller », puis « COMPort »). Après l’installation du « USB Controller », une autre procédure d’installation est donc lancée, comme cela est décrit de l’étape 3 à 5. INFORMAZIONE: Se la ricerca dei driver automatica non dovesse funzionare a pieno, immettere manualmente la lettera dell'unità del lettore CD/DVD. 5) Seguire le ulteriori istruzioni dell'installazione guidata. INFORMAZIONE: Se appare un messaggio che indica che il testing del programma Windows Logo non è stato superato, si può comunque tranquillamente procedere con l'installazione. Per proseguire cliccare sul tasto corrispondente. 26 | Ottobock → L'installazione dei driver avviene in due fasi (in primo luogo il controller USB e in secondo luogo la porta COM). Dopo l'installazione del controller USB si avvia un'ulteriore procedura d'installazione come descritto nelle fasi da 3 a 5. INFORMAÇÃO: Caso a procura automática do driver não funcione corretamente, digi­ tar a letra da unidade de CD/DVD manualmente. 5) Seguir as demais instruções do assistente de instalação. INFORMAÇÃO: Após a exibição da janela de instrução, que faz referência ao teste fracassado do logotipo Windows, a instalação pode continuar sem problemas. Para isso, clicar no botão correspondente. → A instalação dos drivers é realizada em dois passos (primeiro "Controlador USB" e depois "Porta COM"). Por isso, um outro processo de instalação começará após a instalação do "Controlador USB", conforme descrito nos passos 3-5. INFORMATIE: Wanneer het automatisch zoeken naar een driver niet naar behoren functioneert, voert u de letter van het cd-/dvd-station met de hand in. 5) Volg vervolgens de aanwijzingen van de installatiewizard. INFORMATIE: Wanneer het mededelingenvenster wordt geopend dat u erop wijst dat de test op het Windows-logo geen positief resultaat oplevert, kan de installatie des­ ondanks zonder problemen worden voortgezet. INFORMATION: Om den automatiska drivenhetssökningen inte fungerar riktigt anger du drivenhetsbokstaven för CD/DVD-enheten manuellt. 5) Följ anvisningarna i installationsassistenten. INFORMATION: När informationsfönstret visas där du informeras om att Windows-Lo­ go-Test inte har genomförts, kan du ändå fortsätta installationen utan problem. Klicka på motsvarande knapp för att göra det. → Installationen av drivenheten sker i två steg (först "USB Controller" och sedan "COM-port"). Efter installationen av "USB-Controller" startar därför ytterligare en installationsprocedur en­ ligt beskrivningen i steg 3 till 5. INFORMATION: För att säkerställa korrekt installation av drivenheten får den andra installationsproceduren inte avbrytas. 7.2 Installation under Windows Vista och Windows 7 Stäng alla öppna tillämpningar. 1) Lägg den bifogade CD:n i CD/DVD-enheten. 2) I dialogfönstret klickar du på alternativet Utföra Setup.exe . 3) Följ anvisningarna i installationsassistenten.
