Sie enthalten wichtige Informationen über Aufstellen, Gebrauch und Wartung des Gerätes. Der Hersteller haftet nicht, wenn Sie die Hinweise und Warnungen der Gebrauchsanweisung missachten. Bewahren Sie alle Unterlagen für späteren Gebrauch oder für Nachbesitzer auf. Technische Sicherheit Das Gerät enthält in geringer Menge das umweltfreundliche, aber brennbare Kältemittel R600a. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Rohre des Kältemittel‐Kreislaufes bei Transport oder Montage nicht beschädigt werden. Herausspritzendes Kältemittel kann zu Augenverletzungen führen oder sich entzünden. Je mehr Kältemittel in einem Gerät ist, umso größer muss der Raum sein, in dem das Gerät steht. In zu kleinen Räumen kann bei einem Leck ein brennbares Gas‐Luft‐Gemisch entstehen. Pro 8 g Kältemittel muss der Raum mindestens 1 m3 groß sein. Die Menge des Kältemittels Ihres Gerätes steht auf dem Typenschild im Inneren des Gerätes. Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller, Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Unsachgemäße Installationen und Reparaturen können den Benutzer erheblich gefährden. Reparaturen dürfen nur durch den Hersteller, Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person durchgeführt werden. Es dürfen nur Originalteile des Herstellers benutzt werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen gewährleistet der Hersteller, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllen. Eine Verlängerung der Netzanschlussleitung darf nur über den Kundendienst bezogen werden. Bei Beschädigung n Offenes Feuer oder Zündquellen vom Gerät fernhalten, n Gerät ausschalten und Netzstecker ziehen, n Raum für einige Minuten gut durchlüften, n Kundendienst benachrichtigen. 5 de Beim Gebrauch n n n n n n n n n n 6 Nie elektrische Geräte innerhalb des Gerätes verwenden (z. B. Heizgeräte, elektrische Eisbereiter usw.). Explosionsgefahr! Nie das Gerät mit einem Dampfreinigungsgerät abtauen oder reinigen! Der Dampf kann an elektrische Teile gelangen und einen Kurzschluss auslösen. Stromschlaggefahr! Keine spitzen und scharfkantigen Gegenstände verwenden, um Reifund Eisschichten zu entfernen. Sie könnten damit die Kältemittel-Rohre beschädigen. Herausspritzendes Kältemittel kann sich entzünden oder zu Augenverletzungen führen. Keine Produkte mit brennbaren Treibgasen (z. B. Spraydosen) und keine explosiven Stoffe lagern. Explosionsgefahr! Sockel, Auszüge, Türen usw. nicht als Trittbrett oder zum Abstützen missbrauchen. Zum Abtauen und Reinigen Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung ausschalten. Am Netzstecker ziehen, nicht am Anschlusskabel. Hochprozentigen Alkohol nur dicht verschlossen und stehend lagern. Kunststoff‐Teile und Türdichtung nicht mit Öl oder Fett verschmutzen. Kunststoff‐Teile und Türdichtung werden sonst porös. Be‐ und Entlüftungsöffnungen für das Gerät nie abdecken oder zustellen. Dieses Gerät ist von Personen (einschließlich Kindern) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder psychischen Fähigkeiten oder mangelndem Wissen nur zu benutzen, wenn sie durch eine für Ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt werden oder von dieser Anweisung erhalten haben, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist. n Im Gefrierraum keine Flüssigkeiten in Flaschen und Dosen lagern (besonders kohlensäurehaltige Getränke). Flaschen und Dosen können platzen! n Nie Gefriergut sofort, nachdem es aus dem Gefrierraum genommen wird, in den Mund nehmen. Gefrierverbrennungsgefahr! n Vermeiden Sie längeren Kontakt der Hände mit dem Gefriergut, Eis oder den Verdampferrohren usw. Gefrierverbrennungsgefahr! Kinder im Haushalt n Verpackung und deren Teile nicht Kindern überlassen. Erstickungsgefahr durch Faltkartons und Folien! n Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug für Kinder! n Bei Gerät mit Türschloss: Schlüssel außer Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren! Allgemeine Bestimmungen Das Gerät eignet sich n zum Gefrieren von Lebensmitteln, n zur Eisbereitung. Dieses Gerät ist für den häuslichen Gebrauch im Privathaushalt und das häusliche Umfeld bestimmt. Das Gerät ist funkentstört nach EU‐Richtlinie 2004/108/EC. Der Kältekreislauf ist auf Dichtheit geprüft. Dieses Erzeugnis entspricht den einschlägigen Sicherheitsbestimmungen für Elektrogeräte (EN 60335-2-24). de Hinweise zur Entsorgung x Verpackung entsorgen Die Verpackung schützt Ihr Gerät vor Transportschäden. Alle eingesetzten Materialien sind umweltverträglich und wieder verwertbar. Bitte helfen Sie mit: Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht. Über aktuelle Entsorgungswege informieren Sie sich bitte bei Ihrem Fachhändler oder bei der Gemeindeverwaltung. x Altgerät entsorgen Altgeräte sind kein wertloser Abfall! Durch umweltgerechte Entsorgung können wertvolle Rohstoffe wiedergewonnen werden. Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG über Elektro- und Elektronikaltgeräte (waste electrical and electronic equipment - WEEE) gekennzeichnet. Die Richtlinie gibt den Rahmen für eine EU-weit gültige Rücknahme und Verwertung der Altgeräte vor. ! Kältegeräte enthalten Kältemittel und in der Isolierung Gase. Kältemittel und Gase müssen fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Rohre des Kältemittel-Kreis­ laufes bis zur fachgerechten Entsorgung nicht beschädigen. Lieferumfang Prüfen Sie nach dem Auspacken alle Teile auf eventuelle Transportschäden. Wenden Sie sich bei Beanstandungen an den Händler, bei dem Sie das Gerät erworben haben oder an unseren Kundendienst. Die Lieferung besteht aus folgenden Teilen: n Standgerät n Ausstattung (modellabhängig) n Gebrauchsanleitung n Kundendienstheft n Garantiebeilage n Informationen zu Energieverbrauch und Geräuschen n Beutel mit Montagematerial. Warnung Bei ausgedienten Geräten 1. Netzstecker ziehen. 2. Anschlusskabel durchtrennen und mit dem Netzstecker entfernen. 3. Ablagen und Behälter nicht herausnehmen, um Kindern das Hineinklettern zu erschweren! 4. Kinder nicht mit dem ausgedienten Gerät spielen lassen. Erstickungsgefahr! Gerät aufstellen Transport Zum Transport sind am Gerät leichtgängige Rollen angebracht. Bild $ ! Warnung Bei Bedarf das Gerät vor dem Wegrollen sichern. 7 de Transportsicherung entfernen Bild # (nicht bei allen Modellen) Entfernen Sie die vier Transportsicherungen die zwischen Truhendeckel und Gerät angebracht sind. Raumtemperatur und Belüftung beachten Stecken Sie zwei dieser Transportsi­ cherungen auf die dafür vorgesehenen Halterungen auf der Geräterückseite. Dadurch wird der Mindestabstand zur Wand eingehalten, der Truhendeckel lässt sich korrekt öffnen und die Be­ lüftung ist gewährleistet. Damit wird die ausgewiesene Energieaufnahme des Gerätes erreicht. Das Gerät ist für eine bestimmte Klimaklasse ausgelegt. Abhängig von der Klimaklasse kann das Gerät bei folgenden Raumtemperaturen betrieben werden. Die Klimaklasse ist auf dem Typenschild zu finden, Bild !/10. Klimaklasse zulässige Raumtemperatur Aufstellort SN +10 °C bis 32 °C Zum Aufstellen eignet sich ein trockener, belüftbarer Raum. Der Aufstellort sollte nicht direkter Sonnenbestrahlung ausgesetzt und nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle wie Herd, Heizkörper etc. sein. Wenn das Aufstellen neben einer Wärmequelle unvermeidbar ist, verwenden Sie eine geeignete Isolierplatte oder halten Sie folgende Mindestabstände zur Wärmequelle ein: N +16 °C bis 32 °C ST +16 °C bis 38 °C T +16 °C bis 43 °C n Zu Elektro‐ oder Gasherden 3 cm. n Zu Öl‐ oder Kohleanstellherden 30 cm. Wird das Gerät an die Wand gestellt, ist zur Rückwand und zu den Seitenwänden ein Mindestabstand von 70 mm erforderlich. Untergrund Der Boden am Aufstellort darf nicht nachgeben, Boden eventuell verstärken. Gerät mit einer Wasserwaage ausrichten. Eventuelle Bodenunebenheiten mit Unterlagen ausgleichen. 8 Raumtemperatur Hinweis! Das Gerät ist innerhalb der Raumtemperaturgrenzen der angegebenen Klimaklasse voll funktionsfähig. Wird ein Gerät der Klimaklasse SN bei kälteren Raumtemperaturen betrieben, können Beschädigungen am Gerät bis zu einer Temperatur von +5 °C ausgeschlossen werden. Belüftung Bild * Die Luft an der Rückwand und an den Seitenwänden des Gerätes erwärmt sich. Die erwärmte Luft muss unge­ hindert abziehen können. Die Kühlma­ schine muss sonst mehr leisten. Dies erhöht den Stromverbrauch. Daher: Nie Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen abdecken oder zustellen! de Gerät anschließen Nach dem Aufstellen des Gerätes mindestens 1 Stunde warten, bis das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird. Während des Transports kann es vorkommen, dass sich das im Verdichter enthaltene Öl im Kältesystem verlagert. Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme den Innenraum des Gerätes reinigen (siehe Kapitel ”Gerät reinigen“). Elektrischer Anschluss Die Steckdose muss nahe dem Gerät und auch nach dem Aufstellen des Gerätes frei zugänglich sein. ! Warnung Das Gerät darf auf keinen Fall an elektronische Energiesparstecker angeschlossen werden. Zum Gebrauch unserer Geräte können sinus- und netzgeführte Wechselrichter verwendet werden. Netzgeführte Wechselrichter werden bei Photovoltaikanlagen verwendet, die direkt ans öffentliche Stromnetz angeschlossen werden. Bei Insellösungen (z. B. bei Schiffen oder Gebirgshütten), die keinen direkten Anschluss ans öffentliche Stromnetz haben, müssen sinusgeführte Wechselrichter verwendet werden. Das Gerät entspricht der Schutzklasse I. Über eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzleiter das Gerät an 220-240 V/50 Hz Wechselstrom anschließen. Die Steckdose muss mit einer 10 A bis 16 A Sicherung abgesichert sein. Bei Geräten, die in nicht-europäischen Ländern betrieben werden, ist zu überprüfen, ob die angegebene Spannung und Stromart mit den Werten Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt. Diese Angaben finden Sie auf dem Typenschild, Bild +. 9 de Gerät kennenlernen Bedienblende Bild " 1 “eco”‐Einstellung Bitte klappen Sie die letzte Seite mit den Abbildungen aus. Diese Gebrauchsanweisung gilt für mehrere Modelle. Wenn das Gerät nur teilweise gefüllt ist (bei Geräten mit Trennwand bis maximal zur Markierung “e” auf der Trennwand) kann diese Einstellung gewählt werden um Energie zu sparen. 2 Zum Einstellen der Gefrierraumtemperatur, Temperaturwähler mit einer Münze drehen. Abweichungen bei den Abbildungen sind möglich. Stellung 1: wärmste Temperatur Bild ! * nicht bei allen Modellen 1‐5 Bedienblende 6 Innenbeleuchtung * 7 Korb * 8 Lagerfach 9 Tauwasserablauf mit Ablaufstopfen 10 Typenschild 11 Vorgefrierfach * 12 Herausnehmbare Trennwand * Temperaturwähler Stellung 6: kälteste Temperatur 3 “alarm”‐Anzeige Die rote Anzeige leuchtet, wenn es im Gefrierraum zu warm ist. 4 ”power”‐Anzeige Die grüne Anzeige leuchtet, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist. 5 “super”‐Taste Zum Ein‐ und Ausschalten des Supergefrierens. Die gelbe Anzeige leuchtet, wenn das Supergefrieren eingeschaltet ist. 10 de Gerät in Betrieb nehmen Warnmeldungen Gerät einschalten Wenn die Temperatur im Gefrierraum zu warm wird (ca. -9 °C) und das Gefriergut gefährdet ist leuchtet die “alarm”‐Anzei­ ge Bild "/3. n Mit dem Anschließen ist das Gerät eingeschaltet, die grüne Anzeige Bild "/4 leuchtet. n Das Leuchten der roten Anzeige Bild "/3 zeigt, dass die Temperatur im Gerät zu warm ist, legen Sie Gefriergut erst nach Erlöschen der roten Anzeige ein. Temperatur einstellen Temperaturalarm Nutzinhalt Angaben zum Nutzinhalt finden Sie auf dem Typenschild. Bild + Der Temperaturwähler ist werksseitig auf Merkzahl 4 eingestellt. Gefriervolumen vollständig nutzen Zum Ändern den Temperaturwähler Bild "/2 drehen. Um die maximale Menge an Gefriergut unterzubringen, können die Körbe aus dem Gerät herausgenommen werden. Stellung 1: wärmste Temperatur Stellung 6: kälteste Temperatur Achtung: Temperaturänderungen wirken sich langsam aus. Gefrierraum Hinweise zum Betrieb Den Gefrierraum verwenden n n Beim Einschalten wird die Temperatur für den Gefrierraum automatisch auf ca. -18 °C eingestellt, wenn keine Temperatureingabe erfolgt. n Zum Lagern von Tiefkühlkost. n Zum Herstellen von Eiswürfeln. n Zum Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln. Sollte sich nach dem Schließen der Truhe der Deckel nicht sofort wieder öffnen lassen, warten Sie bitte zwei bis drei Minuten, bis sich der entstandene Unterdruck ausgeglichen hat. Hinweis! Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät immer geschlossen ist. Bei offenem Deckel taut das Gefriergut auf. Das Gefrierfach vereist stark. Außerdem: Energieverlust durch hohen Stromverbrauch. 11 de Max. Gefriervermögen Frische Lebensmittel einfrieren Angaben über das maximale Gefriervermögen in 24 Stunden finden Sie Verwenden Sie zum Einfrieren nur frische auf dem Typenschild. Bild + und einwandfreie Lebensmittel. Gefrieren und Lagern Tiefkühlkost einkaufen n Verpackung darf nicht beschädigt sein. n Haltbarkeitsdatum beachten. n Temperatur in der Verkaufstruhe muss -18 °C oder kälter sein. n Tiefkühlkost möglichst in einer Isoliertasche transportieren und schnell in den Gefrierraum legen. Um Nährwert, Aroma und Farbe möglichst gut zu erhalten, sollte Gemüse vor dem Einfrieren blanchiert werden. Bei Auberginen, Paprika, Zucchini und Spargel ist das Blanchieren nicht erforderlich. Literatur über das Einfrieren und Blanchieren finden Sie im Buchhandel. Hinweis! Einzufrierende Lebensmittel nicht mit bereits gefrorenen in Berührung bringen. n Zum Einfrieren geeignet sind: Backwaren, Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, Fleisch, Wild, Geflügel, Gemüse, Obst, Kräuter, Eier ohne Schale, Milchprodukte wie Käse, Butter und Quark, fertige Gerichte und Speisereste wie Suppen, Eintöpfe, gegartes Fleisch und Fisch, Kartoffelspeisen, Aufläufe und Süßspeisen. n Zum Einfrieren nicht geeignet sind: Gemüsesorten, die üblicherweise roh verzehrt werden, wie Blattsalate oder Radieschen, Eier in der Schale, Weintrauben, ganze Äpfel, Birnen und Pfirsiche, hartgekochte Eier, Joghurt, Dickmilch, saure Sahne, Crème fraîche und Mayonnaise. Beim Einordnen beachten Größere Mengen Lebensmittel vorzugsweise auf dem Geräteboden einfrieren, dort werden sie besonders schnell und somit auch schonend eingefroren. Die Lebensmittel breitflächig auf den Boden des Gerätes legen. Bereits gefrorene Lebensmittel dürfen nicht mit den frisch einzufrierenden Lebensmitteln in Berührung kommen. 12 de Gefriergut verpacken Lebensmittel luftdicht verpacken, damit sie den Geschmack nicht verlieren oder austrocknen. 1. Lebensmittel in die Verpackung einlegen. 2. Luft herausdrücken. 3. Verpackung dicht verschließen. 4. Verpackung mit Inhalt und Einfrierdatum beschriften. Als Verpackung geeignet: Kunststoff‐Folie, Schlauch‐Folie aus Polyethylen, Alu‐Folie, Gefrierdosen. Diese Produkte finden Sie im Fachhandel. Als Verpackung ungeeignet: Packpapier, Pergamentpapier, Cellophan, Müllbeutel und gebrauchte Einkaufstüten. Zum Verschließen geeignet: Gummiringe, Kunststoff‐Klipse, Bindfäden, kältebeständige Klebebänder o. Ä. Beutel und Schlauch-Folien aus Polyethylen können mit einem Folienschweißgerät verschweißt werden. Supergefrieren Lebensmittel sollen möglichst schnell bis zum Kern durchgefroren werden. Dadurch bleiben Vitamine, Nährwerte, Aussehen und Geschmack erhalten. Damit es beim Einlegen frischer Lebensmittel nicht zum unerwünschten Temperaturanstieg kommt, einige Stunden vor dem Einlegen frischer Ware das Supergefrieren einschalten. Im allgemeinen genügen 4-6 Stunden. Soll das max. Gefriervermögen genutzt werden, benötigt man 24 Stunden. Kleinere Mengen Lebensmittel (ca. 10 % des Gefriervermögens) können ohne Supergefrieren eingefroren werden. Zum Ein‐ und Ausschalten des Supergefrierens die Taste “super” Bild "/5 drücken. Die Inbetriebnahme wird durch Leuchten der “super”‐Anzeige angezeigt Bild "/5. Die Kühlmaschine arbeitet jetzt ständig. Im Gefrierraum wird eine tiefe Tempera­ tur erreicht. Haltbarkeit des Gefriergutes Die Haltbarkeit ist abhängig von der Art der Lebensmittel. Bei einer Temperatur von -18 °C: n Fisch, Wurst, fertige Speisen, Backwaren: bis zu 6 Monate. n Käse, Geflügel, Fleisch: bis zu 8 Monate. n Gemüse, Obst: bis zu 12 Monate. 13 de Herausnehmbare Trennwand Gefriergut auftauen Je nach Art und Verwendungszweck kann zwischen folgenden Möglichkeiten gewählt werden: n bei Raumtemperatur, n im Kühlschrank, n im elektrischen Backofen, mit/ohne Heißluftventilator, n im Mikrowellengerät. Hinweis! An‐ oder aufgetautes Gefriergut nicht wieder eingefrieren. Erst nach dem Verarbeiten (kochen oder braten) kann es erneut eingefroren werden. Die max. Lagerdauer des Gefriergutes nicht mehr voll nutzen. Bild & (nicht bei allen Modellen) Die Trennwand verhindert, dass frisch einzufrierende Lebensmittel im Vorgefrierfach mit bereits gefrorenen Le­ bensmitteln vom Lagerfach in Berührung kommen. Wenn man sie herauszieht und auf den Boden der Truhe legt, kann kleines Ge­ friergut, beispielsweise Erdbeeren, schnell und vor allem einzeln eingefro­ ren werden. Beim Abtauen kann sie zum Auffangen des Abtauwassers unter den Ablaufkanal gelegt werden. Gerät ausschalten und stilllegen Gerät ausschalten n Ausstattung des Gerätes Vorgefrierfach Bild !/11 (nicht bei allen Modellen) Im Vorgefrierfach werden frische Le­ bensmittel besonders schnell und somit auch schonend eingefroren. Die Lebens­ mittel breitflächig auf den Boden und an die Seitenwände des Vorgefrierfaches legen. Einsatzkorb Bild ) Zum Lagern von kleinem Gefriergut. Gerät stilllegen Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen: 1. Alle Lebensmittel aus dem Gerät herausnehmen. 2. Gerät ausschalten. 3. Gerät abtauen (siehe Kapitel ”Abtauen“). 4. Gerät innen reinigen (siehe Kapitel ”Gerät reinigen“). 5. Deckel offen lassen, um Geruchsbildung zu vermeiden. de n Äußeren Ablaufstopfen Bild '/1 her­ ausziehen, flache Schale oder sofern vorhanden Trennwand des Gerätes Bild '/2 aus dem Gerät heraus­ nehmen, zum Auffangen des Tauwas­ sers unter das Tauwasserablaufloch legen Bild '/3 und den inneren Ablaufstopfen Bild '/4 herausziehen. n Nach dem Abtauen Gerät reinigen und innen trocken wischen. n Tauwasserablauf mit beiden Ablauf­ stopfen schließen, Trennwand einsetzen, Gerät anschließen und Gefriergut wieder einordnen. Abtauen Eine Reifschicht auf den Behäl­ terwänden verschlechtert die Kälte­ abgabe an das Gefriergut und erhöht den Stromverbrauch. Entfernen Sie regelmäßig die Reifschicht. Allgemeine Tipps n Zum Be‐ und Entladen Deckel der Truhe so kurz wie möglich öffnen. n Die Gefriertruhe nicht in feuchten Räu­ men aufstellen. Hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit begünstigt die Reifbildung. n Frische Lebensmittel möglichst luft­ dicht verpacken. ! Achtung! Reifschicht oder Eis nicht mit Messer oder spitzem Gegenstand abschaben. Sie könnten damit die Kältemittel‐Rohre beschädigen. Herausspritzendes Kältemittel kann sich entzünden oder zu Augenverletzungen führen. Gerät abtauen n Ca. 4 Stunden vor dem Abtauen das Supergefrieren einschalten, damit die Lebensmittel tief durchgefroren werden. n Danach das Gefriergut ausräumen und in mehrere Lagen Zeitungspapier oder eine Decke einwickeln und an einem kühlen Ort aufbewahren. n Deckel offen lassen und den Netzste­ cker ziehen. Abtauhilfen Um den Abtauvorgang zu beschleunigen, kann zum Ablösen der Eisschicht ein Spachtel aus Kunststoff verwendet werden. ! Warnung Nie elektrische Geräte, Abtausprays oder offenes Feuer zum Abtauen verwenden wie Heizgeräte, Dampfreinigungs‐Geräte, Kerzen, Petroleumlampen u. Ä. Stellen Sie keinen Topf mit heißem Wasser in das Gerät, um das Abtauen zu beschleunigen. 15 de Gerät reinigen Energie sparen Das Reinigen des Gefrierraumes sollte zweckmäßigerweise nach jedem Abtauen erfolgen. n Gerät in einem kühlen, trockenen, gut belüftbaren Raum aufstellen! Das Gerät soll nicht direkt in der Sonne oder in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle stehen (z. B. Heizkörper, Herd). Verwenden Sie ggf. eine Isolierplatte. n Warme Lebensmittel erst abkühlen lassen, dann ins Gerät stellen! ! Achtung! n Nie das Gerät mit einem Dampfreinigungsgerät reinigen! n Verwenden Sie keine sand-, chloridoder säurehaltigen Putz- und Lösungsmittel. n n Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden oder kratzenden Schwämme. Auf den metallischen Oberflächen könnte Korrosion entstehen. Legen Sie das Gefriergut zum Auftauen in Ihren Kühlraum. Die Kälte des Gefriergutes zur Kühlung von Lebensmitteln nutzen. n Gerät so kurz wie möglich öffnen! n Reifschicht im Gefrierraum verschlechtert die Kälteabgabe an das Gefriergut und erhöht den Stromverbrauch. Gerät bei Reifbildung abtauen! n Um einen erhöhten Stromverbrauch zu vermeiden, sollte die Geräterückseite gelegentlich gereinigt werden. n Werden nur mittlere Mengen Lebens­ mittel (ca. 40 %-60 % des maximalen Gefriervermögens) eingefroren, können nach 6 Stunden Supergefri­ eren die Lebensmittel eingelegt und das Supergefrieren abgeschaltet wer­ den. n Ist das Gerät nur teilweise (bei Gerä­ ten mit Trennwand nicht höher als bis zur Markierung “e” auf der Trennwand) mit Lebensmitteln beladen, die Spar­ einstellung “eco” verwenden. n Nie Ausstattungsteile im Geschirrspüler reinigen. Die Teile können sich verformen! n Das Spülwasser darf nicht in die Bedienblende oder Beleuchtung gelangen. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor: 1. Vor dem Reinigen Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung ausschalten! 2. Gefriergut herausnehmen und an einem kühlen Ort lagern. Kälteakku (wenn beiliegend) auf die Lebensmittel legen. 3. Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen Tuch, lauwarmem Wasser und etwas ph-neutralem Spülmittel. 4. Die Türdichtung nur mit klarem Wasser abwischen und danach gründlich trocken reiben. 5. Nach dem Reinigen Gerät wieder anschließen und einschalten. 6. Gefriergut wieder einlegen. 16 de Geräusche vermeiden Betriebsgeräusche Ganz normale Geräusche Brummen - Kälteaggregat läuft. Blubbernde, surrende oder gurgelnde Geräusche - Kältemittel fließt durch die Rohre. Klicken - Motor schaltet ein oder aus. Klicken beim Öffnen des Gerätes - Licht­ schalter schaltet ein. Das Gerät steht uneben Bitte richten Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe einer Wasserwaage eben ein. Eventuelle Bo­ denunebenheiten mit Unterlagen aus­ gleichen. Das Gerät “steht an” Bitte rücken Sie das Gerät von an­ stehenden Möbeln oder Geräten weg. Körbe oder Trennplatte wackeln oder klemmen Prüfen Sie bitte die herausnehmbaren Teile und setzen Sie sie eventuell neu ein. Gefäße berühren sich Rücken Sie bitte die Gefäße leicht aus­ einander. Kleine Störungen selbst beheben Bevor Sie den Kundendienst rufen: Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie die Störung aufgrund der folgenden Hinweise selbst beheben können. Sie müssen die Kosten für Beratung durch den Kundendienst selbst übernehmen auch während der Garantiezeit! Störung Temperatur weicht stark von der Einstellung ab. Mögliche Ursache Abhilfe In einigen Fällen reicht es, wenn Sie das Gerät für 5 Minuten ausschalten. Ist die Temperatur zu warm, prüfen Sie nach wenigen Stunden, ob eine Temperaturannäherung erfolgt ist. Ist die Temperatur zu kalt, prüfen Sie am nächsten Tag die Temperatur noch mal. 17 de Störung Mögliche Ursache Abhilfe Innen‐Beleuchtung funktioniert nicht. Glühlampe ist defekt. Warning If required, secure the appliance against rolling away. en Removing the transport locks Figure # (not on all models) Remove the four transport locks that are attached between the chest lid and the appliance. Place two of these transport locks on the holders provided for them on the rear of the appliance. This will maintain the minimum distance from the wall, meaning that the chest lid can be opened properly and that adequate ventilation is ensured. This means that the appliance will achieve its stated energy consumption. Location The ideal installation location is a dry, well-ventilated room. The installation location should not be subject to direct sunlight or be near a heat source such as a cooker, heating element, etc. If setting up the appliance next to a heat source is unavoidable, use a suitable insulating plate or observe the following minimum distances from the heat source: n 3 cm from an electric or gas cooker. n 30 cm from oil or solid fuel cookers. Floor surface Ventilation The floor at the installation location must not buckle and you may have to reinforce the floor. Figure * Use a spirit level to align the appliance. Level out any unevenness in the ground using support spacers. The air on the appliance's back panel and side panels heats up. The heated air must be able to escape unimpeded. Otherwise, the refrigerating unit has to work harder, which increases the appliance's power consumption. Therefore: You must never cover or block the ventilation openings! 23 en Connecting the appliance After setting up the appliance, wait for at least 1 hour before starting the appliance up. The oil contained in the compressor may have been displaced into the refrigeration system during transport. Before starting the appliance up for the first time, clean its interior (see section "Cleaning the appliance"). Electrical connection The socket must be near to the appliance and easily accessible after the appliance has been installed. The appliance conforms to protection class I. Connect the appliance to a 220-240 V/50 Hz alternating current supply using a socket with protective earthing conductor which has been correctly installed. The socket must be protected by a fuse with a rating of 10 A to 16 A. In the case of appliances operated outside of Europe, check whether the voltage and type of current specified conform to the values of your electricity grid. You will find this information on the rating plate, figure +. 24 ! Warning The appliance must never be connected up to an electronic energy-saving socket. Sinusoidal-commutated and line-commutated inverters can be used with our appliances. Line-commutated inverters are used with photovoltaic systems that are connected directly to the national grid. Setting the temperature The temperature selector is set to position 4 at the factory. To change the temperature, turn the temperature selector, figure "/2. Notes on using the appliance n n When you switch on the appliance, the temperature for the freezer compartment is automatically set to approx. -18 °C if no temperature has been entered. Do not allow food that is to be frozen to sit right next to food that has already been frozen. n As far as possible, frozen food must be transported in an insulated container and quickly placed in the freezer compartment. n The following are suitable for freezing: Baked goods, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without their shells, dairy products such as cheese, butter and curd cheese, prepared dishes and leftovers such as soups, stews, cooked meat and fish, potato dishes, baked casseroles and sweet foods. n The following are not suitable for freezing: Types of vegetables that are usually eaten raw – such as green salad or radishes, eggs in their shells, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, crème fraîche and mayonnaise. When arranging the food, note the following: It is preferable to freeze larger quantities of food on the appliance floor because they will become frozen more quickly and gently there. Lay the food over a wide area on the floor of the appliance. Food that is already frozen must not come into contact with the food that is to be freshly frozen. 27 en Packaging frozen food Pack food so that it is airtight to prevent it from losing its flavour or drying out. SuperFreezing 1. Store food in its packaging. Food should be frozen thoroughly as quickly as possible. This ensures that vitamins, nutritional value, appearance and taste are retained. 2. Press out any air. 3. Close the packaging tightly. 4. Label packaging with its contents and date of freezing. The following are suitable as packaging: Plastic film, polyethylene hose film, aluminium foil, freezer bags. You will find these products at your specialist dealer. The following are not suitable as packaging: Wrapping paper, greaseproof paper, cellophane, rubbish bags and used shopping bags. The following are suitable for sealing packaging: Rubber bands, plastic clips, pack-twines, cold-resistant scotch tape, or similar. Polyethylene bags and hose film can be fused closed using a bag sealer. Storage life of frozen foods The storage life depends on the type of food. At a temperature of -18 °C: n Fish, sausages, prepared dishes, baked goods: Up to 6 months n Cheese, poultry, meat: Up to 8 months n Vegetables, fruit: Up to 12 months 28 To ensure that there is no undesired rise in temperature while you are placing fresh food in the freezer, switch on the SuperFreezing function a few hours beforehand. In general, 4-6 hours is sufficient. If you want to use the max. freezing capacity, you require 24 hours. Smaller quantities of food (approx. 10 % of the freezing capacity) can be frozen without using SuperFreezing. To switch SuperFreezing on and off, press and hold the "super" button, figure "/5. A low temperature is reached in the freezer compartment. en Removable separating wall Defrosting frozen food You can decide between the following options, depending on the type of food and its intended use: n At room temperature, n in the refrigerator, n in the electric oven, with/without hot-air ventilator, n in the microwave oven. Note! Do not refreeze defrosted food. It can only be refrozen after it has been processed (cooked or roasted). Figure & (not on all models) The separating wall prevents fresh food that is to be frozen in the pre-freezing compartment from coming into contact with food that is already frozen in the storage compartment. If you pull out the separating wall and lay it on the floor of the chest, small items of frozen food (such as strawberries) can be quickly and – above all – individually frozen. When defrosting food, you can place the separating wall under the drainage channel to collect the defrosted water. Do not continue to use the complete max. storage time for the frozen food. Defrosting A layer of frost on the container panels impairs the cooling effect on the frozen food and increases the power consumption. You must regularly remove this layer of frost. General tips n When putting food in or taking food out, open the lid of the chest for as little time as possible. n Do not install the chest freezer in a damp room. A high level of humidity aids the formation of frost. n Package fresh food so that it is as air-tight as possible. ! Attention Do not scrape away the layer of ice using a knife or a sharp object. You could damage the refrigerant pipes. If refrigerant shoots out, it may ignite or cause eye injuries. Defrosting the appliance n Switch on the SuperFreezing function approx. 4 hours before the defrosting to ensure that the food is thoroughly frozen. n Then clear out the frozen food and store it in several layers of newspaper or wrap it in a cover and store it in a cool place. n Leave the lid open and unplug the mains plug. 30 Defrosting aids To speed up the defrosting process, you can use a plastic scraper to remove the layer of ice ! Warning Never use electrical appliances, defrosting sprays or open flames to defrost the freezer, e.g. heaters, steam-cleaning appliances, candles, oil lamps, etc. Do not place any saucepans containing hot water in the appliance in order to speed up the defrosting. en Cleaning the appliance Saving energy You should clean the freezer compartment properly after each time it is defrosted. n Install the appliance in a cool, dry, well-ventilated room. The appliance must be installed out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources (e.g. heating elements, cooker). Use an insulating plate if necessary. n Allow hot food to cool before placing it in the appliance. n Place frozen food that is to be defrosted in your cooling compartment. Use the low temperature of the frozen food to cool down food. n Open the appliance door for as little time as possible. n A layer of frost in the freezer compartment impairs the cooling effect on the frozen food and increases the power consumption. If there is a layer of frost, you must defrost the appliance. n Occasionally clean the rear of the appliance to prevent an increased power consumption. n If only medium quantities of food (approx. 40 %-60 % of the maximum freezing capacity) are frozen, you can put food into the freezer after 6 hours of SuperFreezing and switch SuperFreezing off. n If the appliance is only partially filled with food (not higher than the "e" marking on the separating wall if the appliance comes with a separating wall), use the "eco" energy-saving setting. ! Attention n Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaning appliance. n Do not use gritty, acidic or chlorine-based cleaning agents or solvents. n Do not use any abrasive materials or materials that may scratch surfaces. This may lead to corrosion of the metallic surfaces. n Never clean the equipment's accessories in the dishwasher. The parts may warp. n The water used for rinsing must not get into the control panel or lighting. Proceed as follows: 1. Congélation et rangement Achat des produits surgelés n L'emballage ne doit pas être endommagé. n Vérifiez la date limite de consommation recommandée. n n La température du congélateur du supermarché doit être de -18 °C minimum. Afin de conserver le mieux possible les valeurs nutritives, les arômes et la couleur des aliments, il est conseillé de blanchir les légumes avant de les surgeler. Il n'est pas nécessaire de blanchir les aubergines, les poivrons, les courgettes ni les asperges. Vous trouverez en librairie toute une bibliographie sur la congélation et le blanchissement. Indication ! Veillez à ce que les produits alimentaires à congeler n'entrent pas en contact avec les produits déjà surgelés. n Se prêtent à la congélation : Pains et pâtisseries, poissons et fruits de mer, viande, gibier, volailles, légumes, fruits, fines herbes, oeufs sans la coque, produits laitiers comme le fromage, le beurre et le fromage blanc, plats préparés et restes de plats tels que les soupes, les ragoûts, la viande et les poissons cuits, les plats à base de pommes de terre, les gratins et les mets sucrés. n Ne se prêtent pas à la congélation : légumes généralement consommés crus, tels que la salade ou les radis, oeufs dans leur coque, raisins, pommes, poires et pêches entières, oeuf cuits dur, yaourt, lait caillé, crème acidulée, crème fraîche et mayonnaise. Utilisez de préférence un sac isotherme pour le transport des produits surgelés, puis rangez les produits le plus rapidement possible dans le compartiment congélateur. Consignes de rangement Congeler de préférence les plus grosses quantités d'aliments au fond du congélateur, car elles congèleront particulièrement rapidement et donc également soigneusement. Déposer les aliments à plat sur le fond de l'appareil. Emballages inadaptés : Papier d'emballage, papier sulfurisé, feuilles de cellophane, sacs poubelle et sacs en plastique ayant déjà servi. Moyens d'obturation adaptés : Caoutchoucs, clips en plastique, ficelles, rubans adhésifs résistants au froid ou produits similaires. Vous pouvez fermer les sachets et les feuilles en polyéthylène au moyen d'une thermosoudeuse. Durée de conservation des produits surgelés Supercongélation Les aliments doivent congeler à cœur aussi vite que possible. Ils conservent ainsi leurs vitamines, leurs valeurs nutritives, leur aspect et leur goût. Pour qu'il ne se produise aucune augmentation non souhaitée de la température lorsque vous rangez des produits alimentaires frais, activez la supercongélation quelques heures avant de les ranger. En général, 4 à 6 heures suffisent. Si vous souhaitez congeler des quantités correspondant à la capacité de congélation maximale, 24 heures seront nécessaires. Les plus petites quantités d'aliments (env. 10 % de la capacité de congélation) peuvent être congelées sans recourir à la supercongélation. Appuyer sur la touche “super” figure "/5 pour activer et désactiver la supercongélation. La mise en service est signalée par le fait que le témoin “super” s'allume figure "/5. Le réfrigérateur fonctionne désormais en permanence. Une température très basse est atteinte dans le compartiment congélateur. La durée de conservation dépend de la nature des aliments. À une température de -18 °C : n Poisson, charcuterie, plats pré-cuisinés, pâtisseries : jusqu'à 6 mois. n Fromage, volaille, viande : jusqu'à 8 mois. n Fruits et légumes : jusqu'à 12 mois. 43 fr Panier d'insertion Décongélation des produits Selon la nature et l'utilisation des produits surgelés, vous pouvez les décongeler : n à température ambiante, n dans le réfrigérateur, n dans le four électrique, avec/sans ventilateur à air chaud, n dans le micro-ondes. Indication ! Ne remettez pas à congeler des produits alimentaires partiellement ou entièrement décongelés. Ne recongelez les produits qu'après les avoir transformés (cuisson ou rôtissage). Dans ce cas, consommez-les nettement avant la date limite de conservation. Si vous la retirez et la déposez au fond du bahut, les petits produits congelés, par exemple des fraises, peuvent être congelés rapidement et, avant tout, individuellement. Lors du dégivrage, elle peut être déposée sous le canal d'évacuation pour collecter l'eau de dégivrage. fr Coupure et mise hors service de l'appareil Coupure de l'appareil n Débranchez la fiche mâle du secteur ou ramenez le disjoncteur en position éteinte. Conseils d'ordre général Mise hors service de l'appareil n Ouvrir le couvercle du bahut aussi brièvement que possible pour déposer ou retirer un produit. n Ne pas installer le congélateur-bahut dans des pièces humides. Une humidité de l'air élevée favorise la formation de givre. n Conditionner si possible les aliments frais dans des contenants fermés hermétiquement. Si l'appareil reste longtemps inutilisé : 1. Sortez tous les produits alimentaires de l'appareil. 2. Éteignez l'appareil. 3. Dégivrage de l'appareil (voir le chapitre ”Dégivrage“). 4. Nettoyez l'intérieur de l'appareil (voir le chapitre « Nettoyage de l'appareil »). 5. Pour éviter l'apparition de mauvaises odeurs, laissez le couvercle ouvert. ! Attention Ne pas racler la couche de givre ou la glace à l'aide d'un couteau ou d'un objet tranchant. Vous risqueriez d'endommager les tuyaux de fluide réfrigérant. Si le fluide réfrigérant jaillit, il peut provoquer des lésions oculaires ou s'enflammer. Dégivrage de l'appareil n Env. 4 heures avant de procéder au dégivrage, activer la supercongélation de façon à ce que les aliments soient congelés en profondeur. n Retirer ensuite les produits congelés et les envelopper dans plusieurs couches de papier journal ou un tissu et les conserver dans un endroit frais. n Laisser le couvercle ouvert et débrancher la prise mâle. 45 fr n n n Retirer le bouchon d'évacuation extérieur figure '/1, enlever du réfrigérateur les plateaux plats ou la paroi de séparation déjà présente dans l'appareil figure '/2, et la placer sous le trou d'évacuation afin de collecter l'eau de dégivrage figure '/3 et retirer le bouchon d'évacuation intérieur figure '/4. Une fois le dégivrage effectué, nettoyer l'appareil et essuyer l'intérieur pour le sécher. Fermer l'évacuation de l'eau de dégivrage en repositionnant les deux bouchons d'évacuation, remettre la paroi de séparation en place, brancher l'appareil et ranger à nouveau les produits congelés. Aide au dégivrage Une petite spatule en plastique peut être utilisée pour enlever la couche de glace et accélérer ainsi le processus de dégivrage. ! Mise en garde Ne jamais utiliser d'appareils électriques, de sprays de dégivrage ou une flamme nue pour procéder au dégivrage, comme des radiateurs, des appareils de nettoyage à la vapeur, des bougies, des lampes à pétrole ou des dispositifs similaires. Ne placez pas de casserole remplie d'eau chaude dans l'appareil pour accélérer le dégivrage. 46 Nettoyage de l'appareil Le nettoyage du compartiment congélateur devrait être effectué de façon appropriée après chaque dégivrage. ! n n n n n Attention Ne nettoyez jamais l'appareil à l'aide d'un nettoyeur à vapeur ! N'utilisez aucun produit de nettoyage contenant du sable, du chlorure ou de l'acide, ni aucun solvant. N'utilisez jamais d'éponges abrasives ou susceptibles de rayer. Des zones corrodées pourraient apparaître sur les surfaces métalliques de l'appareil. Ne jamais nettoyer les pièces de l'équipement dans le lave-vaisselle. Ces pièces pourraient se déformer ! L'eau de nettoyage ne doit pas pénétrer dans le panneau de commande ni l'éclairage. Procédure : 1. Avant le nettoyage, débranchez la fiche mâle du secteur ou ramenez le disjoncteur en position éteinte. 2. Retirez les produits congelés et rangez-les dans un endroit frais. Posez les accumulateurs de froid (s'ils ont été fournis avec l'appareil) sur ces produits. 3. Nettoyez l'appareil avec un chiffon doux, de l'eau tiède et du produit à vaisselle présentant un pH neutre. 4. Essuyez le joint de porte uniquement avec un chiffon et de l'eau propre. Ensuite, séchez-le à fond. 5. Après le nettoyage, rebranchez la fiche mâle de l'appareil, puis remettez-le en marche. 6. Remettez en place les produits congelés. fr Économies d'énergie n n Placer l'appareil dans un endroit frais, sec et bien aéré ! L'appareil ne doit pas être exposé directement aux rayons du soleil et ne doit pas se trouver à proximité d'une source de chaleur (par ex., radiateur, cuisinière). Utilisez le cas échéant une plaque isolante. Laisser d'abord refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les ranger dans l'appareil ! n Rangez les produits surgelés dans le compartiment réfrigérateur pour qu'ils dégèlent. Utilisez l'excédent de froid de ces produits surgelés pour refroidir les aliments. n Ouvrez la porte de l'appareil le moins possible et le plus vite possible ! n La présence d'une couche de givre dans le compartiment congélation détériore la diffusion du froid aux produits congelés et accroît la consommation de courant. En cas de formation de givre, dégivrer l'appareil ! n De temps en temps, nettoyez le dos de l’appareil, ceci pour éviter une hausse de la consommation d’électricité. n Si seulement des quantités moyennes d'aliments (env. 40 % à 60 % de la capacité maximale) sont congelées, les aliments peuvent être rangés après 6 heures de supercongélation et la fonction de supercongélation peut être désactivée. n Si l'appareil n'est que partiellement chargé d'aliments (pour des appareils disposant d'une paroi de séparation, pas au-dessus du repère “e” figurant sur la paroi), utiliser le réglage économique “eco”. Bruits de fonctionnement Bruits parfaitement normaux Ronronnement - le groupe de refroidissement fonctionne. Bruits de gargouillis, de bourdonnements ou de gargarismes - le fluide réfrigérant circule dans les tuyaux. Clic - le moteur s'allume ou s'éteint. Clic lors de l'ouverture de l'appareil commutateur de l'éclairage se déclenche. 47 fr Prévention des bruits Instabilité de l'appareil Vérifiez l'horizontalité de l'appareil à l'aide d'un niveau à bulle. Compensez les éventuelles inégalités du sol à l'aide de cales. Appareil en contact avec autre chose Veuillez éloigner l'appareil des meubles ou des appareils voisins. Paniers ou plateaux de séparation branlants ou coincés Vérifiez les pièces amovibles puis remettez-les en place correctement. Les récipients se touchent Éloignez légèrement les récipients les uns des autres. Remédier soi-même aux petites pannes Avant d'appeler le service après­vente (SAV) : Vérifiez si vous ne pouvez pas remédier vous-même à la panne à l'aide des indications qui suivent. Vous éviterez ainsi des dépenses inutiles car le coût des appels passés au service après-vente est à votre charge, même pendant la période de garantie ! Panne La température dévie fortement par rapport au réglage. Cause possible Solution Dans certains cas, il suffit d'éteindre l'appareil pendant 5 minutes. Si la température est trop élevée, vérifiez après quelques heures si la température est devenue plus proche de celle réglée. Si la température est trop basse, vérifiez à nouveau la température le lendemain. 48 fr Panne Cause possible Solution L'éclairage intérieur ne fonctionne pas. L'ampoule est défectueuse. Le groupe frigorifique s'enclenche de plus en plus souvent et longtemps. Ouverture fréquente du couvercle du bahut. Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle inutilement. Les orifices de ventilation sont recouverts par des objets. Figure * Retirez les obstacles. Le témoin “alarm” figure "/3 s'allume. (la température est trop élevée dans l'appareil) Ouverture fréquente du couvercle du bahut. Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle inutilement. Beaucoup d'aliments ont été rangés. Activer la supercongélation avant de déposer des aliments. Les orifices de ventilation sont recouverts par des objets. Figure * Retirez les obstacles. L'appareil se trouve près d'une source de chaleur. Respecter un écart minimum ou utiliser une plaque isolante. L'appareil est éteint. Branchez la fiche mâle. Panne de courant ; le disjoncteur est désarmé ; la fiche mâle n'est pas complètement branchée dans la prise secteur. Vérifiez s'il y a du courant si le disjoncteur est en position armée. Le voyant vert figure "/4 ne s'allume pas. 49 fr Panne Cause possible Solution Formation renforcée de givre au niveau du bord supérieur de l'appareil. Les bouchons d'évacuation de l'eau de dégivrage ne sont pas correctement positionnés. Positionner correctement les bouchons d'évacuation de l'eau de givrage au fond et sur l'avant de l'appareil. Les fixations de transport n'ont pas été retirées Retirer les quatre fixations de transport figure # (voir le chapitre « Installation de l'appareil »). Ouverture fréquente du couvercle du bahut. Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle inutilement. Il luogo di installazione non deve essere esposto all'irraggiamento solare diretto e non deve essere in prossimità di una fonte di calore come fornello, calorifero, ecc. Se l'installazione vicino a una fonte di calore è inevitabile, utilizzare un pannello isolante idoneo o rispettare le seguenti distanze minime dalla fonte di calore: n n Da cucine elettriche o a gas 3 cm. Per utilizzare il nostro apparecchio possono essere impiegati invertitori pilotati da rete o sinusoidali. Gli invertitori commutati dalla rete vengono utilizzati negli impianti fotovoltaici che vengono direttamente collegati alla rete elettrica pubblica. Avvertenze per il funzionamento n n Se non si immette alcuna temperatura, all'accensione la temperatura viene regolata automaticamente a ca. -18 °C. Se subito dopo la chiusura del congelatore lo sportello resiste all'apertura, attendere due o tre minuti finché la depressione formatasi nell'interno non è stata compensata. Non è però necessario sbollentare le melanzane, i peperoni, le zucchine e gli asparagi. Informazioni relative al congelamento e allo sbollentamento sono contenute all'interno dei manuali specifici. Caution! Non mettere a contatto alimenti che devono essere congelati con altri già surgelati. n Gli alimenti adatti al congelamento sono: prodotti da forno, pesce e frutti di mare, carne, selvaggine, pollame, verdure, frutta, erbe aromatiche, uova senza il guscio, latticini quali formaggio, burro e quark, cibi pronti e avanzi come zuppe, stufati, carne e pesce già cotti, piatti a base di patate, sformati e dolci. n Gli alimenti non adatti al congelamento sono: alcuni tipi di verdura che solitamente vengono consumati crudi, come l'insalata o i rapanelli, le uova con il guscio, grappoli di uva, mele, pere e pesche, uova sode, yogurt, latte rappreso, panna acida, creme fraîche e maionese. Trasportare gli alimenti surgelati possibilmente in una busta termica e disporli repentinamente nel congelatore. Durante la sistemazione osservare Congelare grandi quantità di pietanze ponendole di preferenza sul fondo dell'apparecchio perché vengono congelate in maniera particolarmente rapida e delicata. Disporre gli alimenti allargati sul fondo dell'apparecchio. Gli alimenti già congelati non devono entrare in contatto con i cibi freschi da congelare. 58 it Confezionamento di alimenti da surgelare Conservare gli alimenti in confezioni ermetiche per evitare che perdano il loro gusto o possano seccarsi. 1. Introdurre gli alimenti nel sacchetto o nel contenitore. 2. Far fuoriuscire l'aria. 3 Chiudere la confezione ermeticamente. 4 Riportare sulla confezione il contenuto e la data di congelamento. Come imballaggio si addicono: Pellicola in plastica, pellicola tubolare in polietilene, pellicola in alluminio e vaschette per congelare. Questi prodotti sono reperibili nei negozi specializzati. Come imballaggio non si addicono: Carta da pacchi, carta pergamena, cellofan, sacchetti per la spazzatura e sacchetti della spesa usati. Per la chiusura sono indicati: Anelli in gomma, clip in plastica, spago, nastro adesivo resistente al freddo ecc. Sacchetti e pellicole tubolari in polietilene possono essere saldati con una sigillatrice. Durata di conservazione dei surgelati Congelamento rapido Gli alimenti devono essere surgelati fino al centro il più rapidamente possibile affinché vengano conservati le vitamine, le sostanze nutritive, l'aspetto e il sapore. Affinché durante l'introduzione di alimenti freschi non si verifichino aumenti di temperatura indesiderati, attivare il raffreddamento rapido qualche ora prima dell'introduzione di alimenti freschi. A seconda del tipo di alimento e dell'utilizzo, si può scegliere tra le seguenti possibilità: Se necessario è possibile acquistare altri cestelli presso i negozi specializzati indicando il codice dell'apparecchio figura ,. n a temperatura ambiente, n nel frigorifero, n nel forno elettrico, con/senza ventilatore ad aria calda, n nel forno a microonde. Caution! Non congelare nuovamente alimenti parzialmente o completamente scongelati. Solo dopo la preparazione (cottura o arrosto) è possibile un nuovo congelamento. Non utilizzare più la durata massima di conservazione dell'alimento. Dotazione dell'apparecchio Precongelatore Figura !/11 (non per tutti i modelli) Nel precongelatore gli alimenti freschi vengono congelati in maniera particolarmente rapida e delicata. Disporre gli alimenti allargati sul fondo dell'apparecchio e sulle pareti laterali del precongelatore. Cestello inseribile Figura ) Per il deposito di piccole quantità di alimenti congelati. 60 Parete divisoria estraibile Figura & (non per tutti i modelli) La parete divisoria impedisce che le pietanze fresche da congelare nel precongelatore entrino in contatto con le pietanze già congelate poste nello scomparto. Se la parete divisoria viene rimossa e disposta sul fondo, gli alimenti di piccole dimensioni, come ad esempio le fragole, possono essere congelati in maniera rapida e soprattutto singolarmente. Durante lo scongelamento può essere disposta sotto al canale di scarico per raccogliere l'acqua di scongelamento. Spegnimento e messa fuori servizio dell'apparecchio Spegnimento dell'apparecchio n Disattivare il fusibile o estrarre la spina dalla presa. Messa fuori servizio dell'apparecchio Se l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un periodo prolungato: 1. Estrarre tutti gli alimenti dall'apparecchio. 2. Spegnere l'apparecchio. it 3. Scongelare l'apparecchio (vedere il capitolo ”Scongelamento“). Scongelamento dell'apparecchio 4. Pulire l'interno dell'apparecchio (vedere il capitolo ”Pulizia dell'apparecchio“). n Ca. 4 ore prima dello scongelamento attivare il congelamento rapido, in modo tale che il congelamento delle pietanze sia più duraturo. n Di seguito rimuovere le pietanze congelate, disporle su più strati avvolgendole in carta di giornale o in un panno, quindi conservare in una luogo fresco. n Lasciare aperto lo sportello ed estrarre la spina elettrica. n Rimuovere il tappo di scarico esterno figura '/1, rimuovere dall'apparecchio la vaschetta piana, oppure se disponibile la parete divisoria, figura '/2, e metterla sotto il foro di scolo per raccogliere l'acqua di sbrinamento figura '/3 e rimuovere il tappo di scarico interno figura '/4. n Dopo lo sbrinamento, pulire l'apparecchio e asciugare l'interno. n Richiudere il foro di scolo con i due tappi di scarico, inserire la parete divisoria, collegare l'apparecchio e sistemare di nuovo gli alimenti surgelati. 5. Lasciare aperto lo sportello dell'apparecchio per evitare la formazione di odore. Sbrinamento Uno strato di brina sulle pareti del congelatore peggiora le prestazioni dell'apparecchio e aumenta il consumo di energia. Rimuovere regolarmente lo strato di brina. Consigli generali n Per svuotare e riempire aprire lo sportello il meno possibile. n Non collocare il congelatore in locali umidi. L'elevata umidità dell'aria favorisce la formazione di brina. n Conservare gli alimenti in confezioni più ermetiche possibili. ! Attenzione Non rimuovere lo strato di brina o ghiaccio con un coltello o con oggetti appuntiti. Così facendo si potrebbero danneggiare i tubi del refrigerante. Il refrigerante fuoriuscito a pressione può infiammarsi oppure danneggiare gli occhi. Mezzi ausiliari di sbrinamento Per accelerare lo sbrinamento, è possibile utilizzare una spatola di plastica per staccare lo strato di ghiaccio. ! Pericolo Non utilizzare mai apparecchi elettrici, spray per lo sbrinamento o fiamma libera, come apparecchi di riscaldamento, apparecchi per la pulizia a vapore, candele, lampade a petrolio e simili. Non disporre nell'apparecchio una pentola con acqua bollente, per accelerare lo sbrinamento. 61 it Pulizia dell'apparecchio Risparmio energetico La pulizia dell'interno del congelatore deve essere eseguita opportunamente dopo ogni sbrinamento. ! Collocare l'apparecchio in un ambiente fresco, asciutto e ben ventilato! L'apparecchio non deve essere esposto alla luce solare diretta o vicino a una fonte di calore (ad es. calorifero, fornello). Utilizzare eventualmente un pannello isolante. n Lasciar raffreddare gli alimenti prima di introdurli nell'apparecchio! n Disporre la pietanza da scongelare all'interno del frigorifero. Si sfrutta così il freddo del cibo congelato per raffreddare gli alimenti nel frigorifero. n Aprire l'apparecchio per il minor tempo possibile. n Uno strato di brina nel congelatore peggiora le prestazioni dell'apparecchio e aumenta il consumo di energia. In caso di formazione di brina, scongelare l'apparecchio! n Per evitare un consumo eccessivo di energia elettrica, la zona del motore dell’apparecchio dovrebbe essere pulita saltuariamente. n Se si congelano solo quantità medie di alimenti (ca. 40 %-60 % della capacità massima di congelamento), dopo 6 ore di attivazione del congelamento rapido, gli alimenti possono esser introdotti e il congelamento rapido può essere disattivato. n Se l'apparecchio viene riempito soltanto parzialmente (negli apparecchi con parete divisoria non oltre la tacca “e” sulla parete divisoria), utilizzare l'impostazione risparmio “eco”. Attenzione n Non pulire mai l'apparecchio con una pulitrice a vapore! n Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi, solventi o contenenti acidi o sabbia. n Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi o spugnette abrasive. Sussiste la possibilità che le superfici in metallo vengano corrose. n Non lavare mai in lavastoviglie i pezzi forniti in dotazione. Potrebbero deformarsi! n n Non lasciare penetrare l'acqua di lavaggio negli elementi di comando o di illuminazione. Procedere come segue: 1. Prima della pulizia estrarre la spina di alimentazione o disattivare il fusibile! 2. Estrarre gli alimenti e conservarli in un luogo fresco. Disporre l'accumulatore di freddo sugli alimenti (qualora fornito in dotazione). 3. Lavare l'apparecchio con un panno morbido, acqua tiepida e un detersivo con PH neutro. 4. Flessen en verpakking kunnen uit elkaar barsten! n Nooit bevroren goederen direct, nadat het uit de vriesruimte is genomen, in de mond nemen. Kinderen in het huishouden n Verpakking en onderdelen daarvan niet aan kinderen geven. Verstikkingsgevaar door karton en folie! n Het apparaat is geen speelgoed voor kinderen! n Bij apparaat met deurslot: sleutel buiten bereik van kinderen bewaren! Algemene bepalingen Het apparaat is geschikt n voor het invriezen van levensmiddelen, n voor ijsbereiding. n Kunststof onderdelen en deurafdichting niet met olie of vet vervuilen. Kunststofdelen en deurafdichting worden ander poreus. n Be- en ontluchtingsopeningen voor het apparaat nooit afdekking of afsluiten. Het apparaat is radio-ontstoord conform EU-richtlijn 2004/108/EC. n Dit apparaat mag door personen (inclusief kinderen) met beperkte fysische, sensorische of psychische capaciteiten of gebrekkige kennis alleen worden gebruikt, wanneer zij door een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon onder toezicht staan of door deze instructies hebben gekregen, hoe het apparaat moet worden gebruikt. Het koelcircuit is op lekdichtheid gecontroleerd. Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het huishoudelijk gebruik in een privé huishouden en de huiselijke omgeving. Dit object voldoet aan de geldende veiligheidsbepalingen voor elektrische apparaten (EN 60335-2-24). 67 nl Instructies betreffende het afvoeren x Verpakking afvoeren De verpakking beschermt uw apparaat tegen transportschade. Alle gebruikte materialen zijn milieuvriendelijk en weer herbruikbaar. Help a.u.b. mee: voer de verpakking milieuvriendelijk af. Informeer naar de plaatselijk voorschriften bij uw dealer of uw gemeente. x Oud apparaat afvoeren Oude apparaten zijn geen waardeloos afval! Door een milieuvriendelijke afvoer kunnen waardevolle grondstoffen worden teruggewonnen. Dit apparaat is conform de Europese richtlijn 2002/96/EG betreffende elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (waste electrical and electronic equipment - WEEE) gemarkeerd. De richtlijn schrijft het kader voor terugname en verwerking van oude apparaten in de EU voor. ! Koelapparaten bevatten koelmiddelen en in de isolatie gassen. Koelmiddel en gassen moeten correct worden afgevoerd. Leiding van het koelmiddelcircuit tot en met het afvoeren niet beschadigen. Leveringsomvang Controleer na het uitpakken alle onderdelen op eventuele transportschade. Neem bij vragen contact op met de dealer waar u het apparaat heeft gekocht of moet onze servicedienst. De levering bestaat uit de volgende onderdelen: n Zelfstandig apparaat n Uitrusting (afhankelijk van het model) n Gebruiksaanwijzing n Servicebijlage n Garantiebijlagen n Informatie over het energieverbruik en geluiden n Zak met montagemateriaal. Waarschuwing Bij af te danken apparaten 1. Netstekker lostrekken. Apparaat opstellen 2. Aansluitkabel doorknippen en met de netstekker verwijderen. Transport 3. Plateaus en bakken niet uitnemen, om kinderen het naar binnen klimmen te bemoeilijken! Voor het transport zijn onder het apparaat lichtlopende rollen aangebracht. Fig. $ 4. Kinderen niet met het afgedankte apparaat laten spelen. Verstikkingsgevaar! 68 ! Waarschuwing Indien nodig het apparaat tegen wegrollen borgen. nl Transportborgingen verwijderen Fig. # (niet bij alle modellen) Verwijder de vier transportborgingen die zijn aangebracht tussen het deksel en het apparaat. Steek twee van deze transportborgingen in de daarvoor bedoelde houders op de achterkant van het apparaat. Daardoor wordt de minimale afstand tot de wand aangehouden, het deksel van de vrieskist kan correct worden geopend en de ventilatie is gewaarborgd. Zo wordt het vermelde energieverbruik van het apparaat gerealiseerd. Opstellingsplaats Een droge, ventileerbare ruimte is geschikt voor het opstellen. De opstellingsplaats mag niet aan direct zonlicht blootstaan en niet in de buurt van een warmtebron liggen zoals een open haard, radiator, enz. Wanneer opstelling naast een warmtebron niet te vermijden is, gebruik dan een geschikte isolatieplaat of houd de volgende minimale afstanden aan tot de warmtebron: n Tot elektrisch of gaskachels 3 cm. n Tot olie- of kolengestookte kachels 30 cm. Wanneer het apparaat tegen de muur wordt geplaatst, dan is bij de achterwand en zijwanden een minimale afstand van 70 mm noodzakelijk. Let op de kamertemperatuur en de ventilatie Kamertemperatuur Het apparaat is ontworpen voor een bepaalde klimaatklasse. Afhankelijk van de klimaatklasse kan het apparaat bij de volgende ruimtetemperaturen worden gebruikt. De klimaatklasse is te vinden op de typeplaat, Fig. !/10. Klimaatklasse Toegestane kamertemperatuur SN +10 °C ... 32 °C N +16 °C ... 32 °C ST +16 °C ... 38 °C T +16 °C ... 43 °C Aanwijzing! Het apparaat is binnen de kamertemperatuurgrenzen van de opgegeven klimaatklasse volledig functioneel. Wanneer een apparaat met klimaatklasse SN bij koudere kamertemperaturen wordt gebruikt, dan kan schade aan het apparaat tot een temperatuur van +5°C worden uitgesloten. Ondergrond De vloer op de opstellingsplaats mag niet meeveren, vloer eventueel versterken. Apparaat met een waterpas horizontaal stellen. Eventuele oneffenheden in de vloer compenseren. 69 nl Ventilatie Fig. * De lucht bij de achterwand en zijwanden van het apparaat warmt op. De opgewarmde lucht moet ongehinderd kunnen wegtrekken. Het koelapparaat moet anders meer vermogen leveren. Dat verhoogt het stroomverbruik. Daarom: nooit de be- en ontluchtingsopeningen afdekken of afsluiten! Apparaat aansluiten Na het opstellen van het apparaat minimaal 1 uur wachten, tot het apparaat in bedrijf wordt genomen. Tijdens het transport kan het gebeuren, dat in de compressor aanwezige olie zich in het koelsysteem afzet. Voor de eerste ingebruikname de binnenruimte van het apparaat reinigen (zie hoofdstuk ”Apparaat reinigen”). Elektrische aansluiting De contactdoos moet dicht bij het apparaat zitten en ook na het opstellen van het apparaat vrij toegankelijk zijn. Het apparaat voldoet aan veiligheidsklasse I. Via een conform de voorschriften geïnstalleerde contactdoos met randaarde het apparaat op 220-240 V/50 Hz wisselspanning aansluiten. De contactdoos moet met een 10 A tot 16 A zekering zijn gezekerd. 70 Bij apparaten, die in niet-Europese landen worden gebruikt, moet worden gecontroleerd, of de opgegeven spanning en stroom overeenkomen met die van het elektriciteitsnet. Deze informatie kunt u vinden op de typeplaat, Fig. +. ! Waarschuwing Het apparaat mag in geen geval op een elektronische energiespaarstekker worden aangesloten. Voor het gebruik van onze apparaten kunnen sinus- en netgestuurde omvormers worden gebruikt. Netgestuurde omvormers worden bij zonne-energie installaties gebruikt, die direct op het openbare stroomnet worden aangesloten. Bij eilandoplossingen (bijv. schepen of berghutten), die geen directe aansluiting op het openbare stroomnet hebben, moeten sinusgeregelde omvormers worden gebruikt. nl Apparaat leren kennen Bedieningspaneel Fig. " 1 “eco”‐instelling Klap a.u.b. de laatste pagina met de afbeeldingen uit. Deze gebruiksaanwijzing geldt voor meerdere modellen. Wanneer het apparaat slechts voor een deel is gevuld (bij apparaten met scheidingswand maximaal tot de markering “e” op de scheidingswand) dan kan deze instelling worden gekozen om energie te besparen. 2 Voor het instellen van de vriestemperatuur, temperatuurkiezer met een munt verdraaien. "/4 brandt. n Het brandende rode lampje fig. "/3 geeft aan dat de temperatuur in het apparaat te hoog is. Pas diepvriesproducten in het apparaat plaatsen wanneer het rode lampje gedoofd is. Temperatuur instellen De temperatuurkiezer is af-fabriek op stand 4 ingesteld. Om de temperatuur te wijzigen moet u temperatuurkiezer fig. "/2 draaien. Stand 1: warmste temperatuur Stand 6: koudste temperatuur Opgelet: Het duurt lang voordat een verandering van de temperatuurinstelling effect heeft. Gebruiksinstructies n n Wanneer de temperatuur in de vriesruimte te hoog wordt (ca. -9 °C) en de diepvriesproducten gevaar lopen, dan gaat de “alarm”‐indicatie fig. "/3 branden. Effectieve inhoud Informatie over de effectieve inhoud vindt u op de typeplaat. Fig. + Vriesvolume volledig gebruiken Om de maximale hoeveelheid diepvriesproducten te kunnen plaatsen, kunnen de manden uit het apparaat genomen worden. Vriesruimte Bij het inschakelen wordt de temperatuur voor de vriesruimte automatisch op ca. -18 °C ingesteld, wanneer er geen temperatuur wordt gekozen. De vriesruimte gebruiken Mocht na het sluiten van de vrieskist het deksel niet gelijk weer geopend kunnen worden, wacht dan tot drie minuten, tot de gevormde onderdruk is vereffend. 72 n Voor het opslaan van diepvriesproducten. n Voor het maken van ijsblokjes. n Voor het bevriezen van levensmiddelen. Aanwijzing! Let er op dat het apparaat altijd gesloten is. Bij een open deksel ontdooien de diepvriesproducten. Er treedt veel ijsvorming op in het vriesvak. Bovendien: energieverlies door hoog stroomverbruik. nl Max. vriesvermogen Informatie over de maximale invriescapaciteit in 24 uur vindt u op de typeplaat. Fig. + Invriezen en bewaren Diepvriesproducten inkopen n De verpakking mag niet beschadigd zijn. n Houdbaarheidsdatum aanhouden. n Temperatuur in de verkoopkist moet -18 °C of kouder zijn. n Diepvriesproducten indien mogelijk in isolerende tas transporteren en zo snel mogelijk in de vriezer doen. Verse levensmiddelen bevriezen Gebruik voor het invriezen alleen verse levensmiddelen. Om voedingswaarde, aroma en kleur zo goed mogelijk te behouden, moeten groenten voor het invriezen geblancheerd worden. Bij aubergines, paprika, courgettes en asperges is blancheren niet nodig. Boeken over invriezen en blancheren vindt u in de boekwinkel. Aanwijzing! Laat in te vriezen levensmiddelen niet in contact komen met al bevroren levensmiddelen. n Geschikt om in te vriezen zijn: Gebak, vis en zeevruchten, vlees, wild, gevogelte, groenten, fruit, kruiden, eieren zonder schaal, melkproducten zoals kaas, boter en kwark, bereide gerechten en etensresten zoals soep, eenpansgerecht, klaargemaakt vlees en klaargemaakte vis, aardappelgerechten, ovenschotels en zoete gerechten. n Niet geschikt om in te vriezen zijn: Groenten die doorgaans rauw worden gegeten, zoals sla, radijsjes, eieren in de schaal, druiven, hele appels, peren en perziken, hardgekookte eieren, yoghurt, zure-melk, zure room, crème fraîche en mayonaise. Let op bij het indelen Grote hoeveelheden levensmiddelen bij voorkeur op de bodem van het apparaat invriezen, daar worden ze heel snel en dus ook op de beste manier ingevroren. De levensmiddelen zo uitgespreid mogelijk op de bodem van het apparaat leggen. Al ingevroren levensmiddelen mogen niet met de vers in te vriezen levensmiddelen in contact komen. 73 nl Vriesproducten verpakken Verpak levensmiddelen luchtdicht, zodat deze geen smaak verliezen of uitdrogen. Super-invriezen 1. Levensmiddelen in de verpakking doen. Levensmiddelen moeten zo snel mogelijk tot de kern worden bevroren. Daardoor blijven vitamines, voedingswaarde, uiterlijk en smaak behouden. 2. Lucht er uit drukken. 3. Verpakking goed afsluiten. 4. Verpakking voorzien van label met inhoud en invriesdatum. Als verpakking geschikt: Kunststoffolie, polyethyleen slangfolie, aluminiumfolie, invriesdozen. Deze producten vindt u in de vakhandel. Niet geschikt als verpakking: Pakpapier, perkament, cellofaan, vuilniszakken en gebruikte plastic winkeltassen. Geschikt voor het afsluiten zijn: Rubber ringen, kunststof clips, koudebestendige tape, etc. Zakken en slangfolie van poly-ethyleen kunnen met een folielasapparaat worden gelast. Houdbaarheid van het diepvriesproduct De houdbaarheid is afhankelijk van het soort levensmiddel. Bij een temperatuur van -18 °C: n Vis, wordt, bereide gerechten, brood en gebak: tot max. 6 maanden. n Kaas, gevogelte, vlees: tot max. 8 maanden. n Groenten, fruit: tot max. 12 maanden. 74 Om te zorgen dat bij het plaatsen van verse levensmiddelen geen ongewenste temperatuurtoename ontstaat, moet enkele uren voor het plaatsen van verse waren de ”super-vriezen” functie worden ingeschakeld. Over het algemeen is 4-6 uur voldoende. Wanneer de maximale invriescapaciteit gebruikt moet worden, dan heeft men 24 uur nodig. Kleine hoeveelheden levensmiddelen (ca. 10 % van de invriescapaciteit) kunnen zonder "super-vriezen" worden ingevroren. Voor het in-/uitschakelen van het ”super-vriezen”de toets “super” fig. "/5 indrukken. De inbedrijfstelling wordt door het oplichten van de “super”‐indicatie aangegeven fig. "/5. De vriezer werkt nu continu. In de vriezer wordt een lage temperatuur bereikt. nl Diepvriesproduct ontdooien Afhankelijk van het soort en het gebruiksdoel kan worden gekozen uit de volgende mogelijkheden: n Bij kamertemperatuur, n in de koelkast, n in elektrische oven, met/zonder heteluchtventilator, n in magnetron. Aanwijzing! Ontdooide waren niet weer invriezen. Pas na het bereiden (koken of braden) kan het opnieuw worden ingevroren. De maximale bewaartijd van het product niet meer volledig opgebruiken. Indien nodig kunnen extra manden bij de vakhandel worden gekocht onder vermelding van het apparaattype Fig. ,. Uitneembare scheidingswand Fig & (niet bij alle modellen) De scheidingswand, dat vers in te vriezen levensmiddelen in het vriesvak met al ingevroren levensmiddelen van het bewaarvak in aanraking komen. Wanneer men deze er uit trekt en op de bodem van de vrieskist legt, kunnen kleine producten, bijv. aardbeien, snel en afzonderlijk worden ingevroren. Bij het ontdooien kan deze voor het opvangen van het dooiwater onder het afvoerkanaal worden gelegd. Apparaat uitschakelen en stil zetten Uitrusting van het apparaat Apparaat uitschakelen Voorvriesvak Apparaat stil zetten Fig. !/11 (niet bij alle modellen) In het voorvriesvak worden de verse levensmiddelen bijzonder snel en daarmee op de beste manier ingevroren. De levensmiddelen zo uitgespreid mogelijk op de bodem en tegen de zijwanden van het voorvriesvak leggen. Mand Fig. ) Voor het bewaren van kleine diepvriesproducten. Wanneer manden op de boden van het apparaat geplaatst moeten worden, eerst de grepen verwijderen of naar binnen klappen. n Netstekker lostrekken of zekering uitschakelen. Wanneer u het apparaat langere tijd niet gebruikt: 1. Alle levensmiddelen uit het apparaat nemen. 2. Apparaat uitschakelen. 3. Apparaat ontdooien (zie hoofdstuk ”Ontdooien“). 4. Apparaat inwendig reinigen (zie hoofdstuk ”Apparaat reinigen“). 5. Deksel open laten, om geurvorming te voorkomen. 75 nl n Externe afvoerplug fig. '/4 er uit trekken. n Na het ontdooien het apparaat reinigen en van binnen droog maken. n Dooiwaterafvoer met beide stoppen afdichten, scheidingswand plaatsen, apparaat aansluiten en diepvriesproducten er weer in plaatsen. Ontdooien Een ijslaag op de wanden verslechterd de koude-afgifte aan de diepvriesproducten en verhoogt het stroomverbruik. Verwijder regelmatig de ijslaag. Algemene tips n Bij het plaatsen of uitnemen van producten de vriezer zo kort mogelijk openen. n De vrieskist niet in vochtige ruimtes plaatsen. Een hoge luchtvochtigheid bevordert de ijsafzetting. n Verse levensmiddelen zo veel mogelijk luchtdicht verpakken. ! Attentie IJslaag niet met messen of scherpe voorwerpen verwijderen. U kunt daarmee de koelmiddelleidingen beschadigen. Ontsnappend koelmiddel kan oogletsel veroorzaken of ontbranden. Apparaat ontdooien n Ca. 4 uur voor het ontdooien "super-vriezen" inschakelen, zodat de levensmiddelen extra koud worden ingevroren. n Daarna de diepvriesproducten uit de vrieskist nemen en in meerdere lagen krantenpapier of een deken wikkelen en op een koele plek bewaren. n Deksel open laten en de stekker uit het stopcontact halen. 76 Ontdooihulpmiddelen Om het ontdooien te versnellen, kan om de ijslaag te verwijderen een kunststof spatel worden gebruikt ! Waarschuwing Nooit elektrische apparaten, ontdooisprays, of open vuur voor het ontdooien gebruiken zoals verwarmingsapparaten, stoomreinigers, kaarsen, petroleumlampen, etc. Geen pan met heet water in het apparaat plaatsen om het ontdooien te versnellen. nl Apparaat reinigen Energie besparen De vrieskist kan handig na het ontdooien worden gereinigd. n Apparaat in een koele, droge, goed geventileerde ruimte plaatsen! Het apparaat mag niet direct in de zon of in de nabijheid van een warmtebron staan (bijv. radiator, open haard). Gebruik eventueel een isolatieplaat. n Warme levensmiddelen eerst laten afkoelen, dan in het apparaat zetten! n Plaats de diepvriesproducten voor het ontdooien in uw koelruimte. De koude van het diepvriesproduct gebruiken voor het koelen van levensmiddelen. n Apparaat zo kort mogelijk openen! n IJslaag in vrieskast verslechterd de koude-afgifte aan de producten en verhoogt het stroomverbruik. Apparaat bij ijsafzetting ontdooien! n Om een verhoogd stroomverbruik te vermijden, dient de achterkant van het apparaat af en toe gereinigd te worden. n Wanneer slechts gemiddelde hoeveelheden levensmiddelen (ca. 40 %-60 % van de maximale invriescapaciteit), dan kunnen de producten na 6 uur "super-vriezen" worden geplaatst en kan het "super-vriezen" worden uitgeschakeld. n Wanneer het apparaat slechts deels (bij apparaten met scheidingswand niet hoger dan de markering “e” op de scheidingswand) met levensmiddelen is gevuld, de spaarstand “eco” gebruiken. ! Attentie n Nooit het apparaat met een stoomreiniger reinigen! n Gebruik geen zand-, chloor- of zuurhoudende schoonmaak- en oplosmiddelen. n Gebruik geen schurende of krassende sponzen. Op metalen oppervlakken kan corrosie ontstaan. n Nooit onderdelen in de vaatwasser reinigen. De delen kunnen vervormen! n Het schoonmaakwater mag niet in het bedieningspaneel of de verlichting komen. Ga als volgt te werk: 1. Voor het reinigen de stekker uit het stopcontact halen of de zekering uitschakelen! 2. Diepvriesproducten wegnemen en op een koele plaats bewaren. Koelelement (indien aanwezig) op de levensmiddelen leggen. 3. Reinig het apparaat met een zachte doek, lauwwarm water en wat pH-neutraal afwasmiddel. 4. De deurafdichting alleen met schoon water afvegen en daarna grondig droog wrijven. 5. Na het schoonmaken het apparaat weer aansluiten en inschakelen. 6. Diepvriesproducten weer terugleggen. 77 nl Geluiden voorkomen Bedrijfsgeluiden Normale geluiden Brommen - Het koelaggregaat draait. Borrelende, zoemende of gorgelende geluiden - Koelmiddel stroomt door de leidingen. Klikken - De motor schakelt in of uit. Klikken bij het openen van het apparaat De lichtschakelaar schakelt aan. Het apparaat staat niet horizontaal Stel het apparaat m.b.v. een waterpas horizontaal. Eventuele oneffenheden in de vloer compenseren. Het apparaat staat ergens tegen aan Plaats het apparaat los van meubels of apparaten. Manden of scheidingsplaat wiebelen of klemmen Controleer de uitneembare onderdelen en plaats deze eventueel opnieuw. Dozen komen met elkaar in contact Duw de dozen iets uit elkaar. Kleine storingen zelf opheffen Voordat u contact opneemt met de servicedienst: Controleer of u de storing aan de hand van de volgende instructies kunt verhelpen. U moet de kosten voor de klantenservice zelf dragen, ook tijdens de garantieperiode! Storing Temperatuur wijkt sterk af van de instelling. Mogelijke oorzaak Oplossing In bepaalde gevallen is het voldoende wanneer u het apparaat gedurende 5 minuten uitschakelt. Wanneer de temperatuur te hoog is, controleer dan na enkele uren, of een temperatuurverbetering heeft plaatsgevonden. Wanneer de temperatuur te laag is, controleer dan de volgende dag de temperatuur nogmaals. 78 nl Storing Mogelijke oorzaak Oplossing Binnenverlichting doet het niet. Gloeilamp defect. Gloeilamp vervangen: 1. Netstekker lostrekken resp. zekering uitschakelen. 2. Lampafdekking fig. ( verwijderen. 3. Gloeilamp vervangen (vervangende lamp, 220-240 V wisselstroom, voet E14, Watt zie defecte lamp). Compressor schakelt steeds vaker en langer in. Indicatie “alarm” fig. "/3 brandt. (in het apparaat is het te warm). Groen controlelampje fig. "/4 brandt niet. Frequent openen van deksel van de vrieskist. Deksel niet onnodig openen. Be- en ontluchting­ sopeningen zijn be­ dekt.
