IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances,

including the following:

WARNING

Always observe the following to reduce the risk of electrical shock, fire, or injury:

OPERATION

• Read all instructions before using the product.

• Use only a 220 - 240 volt outlet.

• Do not use the product if the power cord or plug is damaged or if the connection

to the wall outlet is loose.

• Periodically remove dust from the plug.

• When removing the power plug, always hold the plug and never pull on the cord.

Failure to do so can cause a short circuit resulting in electrical shock or fire.

• Be careful not to damage the power cord. Failure to do so can cause electric

shock, heat generation, or fire.

• Do not remove the plug when your hands are wet.

• Be sure to remove the power plug before performing maintenance, when

removing and attaching and replacing the filter and when not using for a long

time. Failure to do so can cause a short circuit resulting in electrical shock or fire.

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent, a Sharp authorized Service Centre or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

Contact the nearest Service Centre for any problems, adjustments, or repairs.

• Do not repair or disassemble the product yourself.

• Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the Air Inlet or Air Outlet.

• Do not expose the product to water.

Doing so can cause a short circuit or electrical shock.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of

the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall

not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

INSTALLATION

• Do not use this product near gas appliances or fireplaces.

When the product is operated with gas appliances in same room, Ventilate a room

periodically, otherwise it may cause Carbon monoxide poisoning.

• Do not operate the product in rooms where aerosol insecticides are present.

Do not operate the product in rooms where there is oily residue, incense, sparks

from lit cigarettes, or chemical fumes in the air.

• Keep the product away from water.

Do not operate the product in places where it may get wet, such as a bathroom.

MAINTENANCE

• Be cautious when cleaning the product.

Strong corrosive cleansers can damage the exterior.

CAUTION

OPERATION

• Do not block the Air Inlet or Air Outlet.

• Always operate the product in an upright position.

• When moving the product, use the handle on the back of the product.

• Do not move the product when it is in operation.

• If the product is on easily damaged flooring, an uneven surface, or thick-piled

carpet, lift it up when moving.

• Do not operate the product without the filters properly installed.

INSTALLATION

• Do not place the product near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters, or

where it may come into contact with steam.

MAINTENANCE

• Clean the exterior with a soft cloth only.

Do not use volatile fluids or detergents.

The product surface may be damaged or cracked with Benzine paint thinner or

polishing powder.

• Do not scrub the Back Panel hard during its maintenance.

• Do not wash and reuse the HEPA filter.

Doing so will not improve filter performance and can also cause electric shock or

operating malfunctions.

NOTE

What to do if the product interferes with radio or TV reception

If the air purifier interferes with radio or television reception, try one or more of the

following measures:

• Adjust or reposition the receiving antenna.

• Increase the distance between the product and the radio or TV.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that of the radio or

TV receiver.

• Consult the dealer or a qualified radio or TV technician.

INSTALLATION

• Avoid locations where furniture, fabrics, or other objects can come in contact with

the product and interfere with the intake and outtake of air.

• Avoid locations where the product is exposed to condensation or drastic changes

in temperature. Appropriate room temperature is between 0 – 35 ºC.

• Place the product on a level and stable surface with sufficient air circulation.

Strong wind or dust through the window may prevent the product’s air purifying

performance and efficacy.

When placed on heavy carpet, the product may vibrate slightly.

• Avoid locations that generate grease or oily smoke. Doing so can cause the

product exterior to crack.

• The dust collecting ability of the product is effective even when the product is

as close to 3 cm from the wall, the surrounding walls and floor may get dirty.

Please place the product at a distance from the wall. The wall directly behind the

air outlet may become dirty over time. When using the product for an extended

period of time at the same location, periodically clean the walls adjacent to it.

• Follow the instructions in this manual for proper filter care and maintenance.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE

The air puriﬁ er draws in room air through the Air Inlet, circulates it through a

Pre-Filter and a HEPA Filter inside the product, and then discharges it through the Air

Outlet. The HEPA Filter can remove 99.97% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns

that pass through the ﬁ lter.

Some odours absorbed by the ﬁ lter will break down over time, causing additional

odours. Depending on usage conditions, and especially if the product is used in

environments signiﬁ cantly more severe than a normal household, these odours may

become noticeable sooner than expected. If these odours persist, replace the ﬁ lter.

NOTE

• The air puriﬁ er is designed to remove air-suspended dust.

The air puriﬁ er is not designed to remove harmful gases such as carbon monoxide contained

in cigarette smoke.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• To maintain the quality of the ﬁ lter, it is installed in the product and packaged in a plastic

bag.

Always be sure to remove the

power plug from the wall outlet.

OPERATION

By continuously discharging strong airﬂ ow cycles in 60 minutes, the product eﬀ ectively removes

airborne dust, pollen, mold and allergens from the air as they are drawn through the ﬁ lter system.

If the product is unplugged or if there is a power failure, the product will resume operation with the

previous settings after power is restored.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Wipe with a dry, soft cloth.

For stubborn stains or dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with warm water.

NOTE

• Do not use volatile ﬂ uids.

Benzine, paint thinner, polishing powder, etc. , may damage the surface.

• Do not use detergents.

Detergent ingredients may damage the product.

MAIN UNIT

Always be sure to remove the

power plug from the wall outlet.

• To maintain optimum performance of this air puriﬁ er, please clean the product including

the ﬁ lter periodically.

Gently remove dust from the HEPA Filter with a vacuum

cleaner attachment or similar tool.

NOTE

• Do not WASH in water and DRY in the sunlight.

• Perform maintenance only on the side with the tag.

Do not clean the opposite side; otherwise, the ﬁ lter will be

damaged.

The ﬁ lter is fragile, be careful not to apply too much force.

Back Panel 1. Add a small amount of kitchen detergent to water

and soak for about 10 minutes.

2. Rinse oﬀ the kitchen detergent with clean water.

3. Completely dry the ﬁ lter in a well-ventilated area.

BACK PANEL (Pre-Filter)

Gently remove dust from the Back Panel, using a vacuum

cleaner attachment or similar tool.

NOTE

Do not apply excessive pressure, when scrubbing the Back

Panel.

* Lifespan of HEPA Filter and replacement suggestions are based on purifying a room in

which 5 cigarettes are smoked per day and the product’s dust collection performance has

declined to half the level of a new ﬁ lter.

Filter life varies depending on the room environment, usage conditions, and location of the

product.

We recommend replacing the ﬁ lter more frequently if the product is used in conditions

signiﬁ cantly more severe (PM2.5 etc.,) than a normal household.

See page 6 for directions on how to install the ﬁ lter when

replacing.

• Please consult your dealer for purchase of replacement ﬁ lter.

• Use only ﬁ lter designed for this product.

* The REPLACE FILTER Lamp will turn on after approximately 17,500 hours.

Filter life varies depending on the operation mode.

After the ﬁ lter is replaced, connect the power plug to the wall outlet and press the Power ON/

OFF Button, then REPLACE FILTER Button for 3 seconds.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before calling for service, please review the Troubleshooting list below, since the problem may not

be the product malfunction.

Standby Power When the product’s power plug is inserted in a wall outlet it consumes standby

power in order to operate electrical circuits. To conserve energy, unplug the power

• Das Äußere nur mit einem weichen Tuch reinigen.

Benutzen Sie keine flüchtigen Flüssigkeiten oder Reinigungsmittel.

Die Oberfläche des Produkts kann beschädigt werden oder Risse bekommen,

wenn Sie Farbverdünner, Benzol oder Polierpulver verwenden.

• Putzen Sie die hintere Abdeckung während der Wartung nicht zu stark.

• Sie dürfen den HEPA-Filter nicht waschen und wiederverwenden.

Das senkt nicht nur die Filterleistung, sondern kann sogar zu Stromschlägen oder

Fehlfunktionen führen.

HINWEIS

Wenn das Produkt den Radio- oder Fernsehempfang stört

Wenn der Luftreiniger Interferenzen mit Radio- oder Fernsehempfang auslöst,

versuchen Sie dies folgendermaßen zu beheben:

• Richten Sie die Antenne neu aus oder positionieren Sie sie an einem anderen

Ort.

• Erhöhen Sie den Abstand zwischen dem Produkt und dem Radio oder Fernseher.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät an die Steckdose eines anderen Stromkreises an dem

des Radios oder des Fernsehers an.

• Bitten Sie den Händler oder einen qualifizierten Rundfunktechniker um Hilfe.

EINBAU

• Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung an Orten, an denen Möbel, Stoffe oder andere

Gegenstände mit dem Produkt in Berührung kommen und den Lufteinzug und

-ausgang einschränken können.

• Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung an Standorten, an denen das Produkt

Kondensation oder drastischen Temperaturschwankungen ausgesetzt ist.

Geeignete Bedingungen sind ein Zimmertemperaturbereich zwischen 0 und

35 ºC.

• Stellen Sie das Produkt auf eine ebene und feste Oberfläche mit ausreichender

Luftzirkulation.

Wenn starker Wind oder Staub durch das Fenster weht, kann das die

Luftreinigungsleistung und Wirksamkeit des Produktes verhindern.

Wenn Sie das Produkt auf einen schweren Teppich stellen, kann es leicht

vibrieren.

• Vermeiden Sie Standorte, an ein Einfluss durch Fett oder öligem Rauch besteht.

Andernfalls kann es zu Rissen an der Außenseite des Produkts kommen.

• Die Staubsammelleistung des Produkts bleibt gleich, selbst wenn Sie das Produkt

nur 3 cm weit von der Wand entfernt aufstellen, jedoch können die umgebenden

Wände und der Boden verschmutzt werden. Stellen Sie das Produkt bitte in

einiger Entfernung zu einer Wand auf. Die Wand direkt hinter dem Luftauslass

kann im Laufe der Zeit verschmutzt werden. Wenn Sie das Produkt längere

Zeit am gleichen Ort benutzen, reinigen Sie die Wände um das Gerät herum

regelmäßig.

Filterpflege und -wartung.

FUNKTIONSPRINZIP

Der Luftreiniger saugt Raumluft durch den Lufteinlass ein, lässt diese durch einen

Vorﬁ lter und einen HEPA-Filter im Produkt zirkulieren und gibt sie dann durch den

Luftauslass wieder in den Raum ab. Der HEPA-Filter kann 99,97 % der Staubpartikel

mit einer Mindestgröße von 0,3 Mikron, die den Filter passieren, entfernen.

Einige der vom Filter absorbierten Gerüche werden womöglich erst im Laufe der Zeit

aufgespalten, was zu zusätzlichen Gerüchen führen kann. Je nach Einsatzbereich,

besonders in geruchsintensiven Umgebungen, können die Gerüche im Vergleich

zum Hausgebrauch schon früher verstärkt auftreten. Wenn diese Gerüche

weiterbestehen, ersetzen Sie den Filter.

HINWEIS

• Der Luftreiniger ist dazu bestimmt, Staub aus der Luft zu entfernen.

Der Luftreiniger ist nicht dazu bestimmt, schädliche Gase wie Kohlenstoffmonoxid im

Zigarettenrauch zu entfernen.

INSTALACIÓN

• No coloque el producto cerca de objetos calientes, como fogones o calefactores,

encima de estos, ni en ningún lugar donde puedan entrar en contacto con vapor.

MANTENIMIENTO

• Limpie el exterior solamente con un trapo suave.

No utilice líquidos volátiles ni detergentes.

La superficie del producto puede dañarse o agrietarse si se utiliza benceno,

disolventes de pintura y polvo para pulir.

• No frote con fuerza el panel trasero durante las tareas de mantenimiento.

• No lave ni reutilice el filtro HEP.

Hacerlo no solo no mejora el funcionamiento de los filtros, sino que puede

provocar una descarga eléctrica o una avería.

¿Qué hacer si el producto interfiere en la recepción de radio

o televisión?

Si el purificador de aire interfiere en la recepción de radio o televisión, intente

aplicar una o varias de las medidas siguientes:

• Aumente la distancia entre la unidad y la radio o el televisor.

• Conecte el equipo a una toma de un circuito distinto al cual esté conectado el

receptor de radio o televisión.

INSTALACIÓN

• Evite lugares con presencia de muebles, tejidos u otros objetos que puedan

entrar en contacto con el producto e interferir en la entrada y la salida de aire.

• Evite usar el producto en lugares en los que pueda resultar expuesto

a condensación o cambios drásticos de temperatura. La temperatura ambiente

adecuada se sitúa entre 0 y 35 °C.

• Coloque el producto sobre una superficie nivelada y estable con suficiente

circulación de aire.

El viento o polvo procedente de una ventana abierta puede afectar al rendimiento

y la eficacia de la purificación del aire.

Si coloca el producto sobre una alfombra gruesa, es posible que la unidad vibre

ligeramente.

• Evite lugares con presencia de grasa o humo grasiento.

De lo contrario, se pueden producir grietas en el exterior del producto.

• El producto puede captar el polvo incluso si se encuentra a una distancia de

tan solo 3 cm de la pared, pero las paredes y el suelo circundantes pueden

ensuciarse. Coloque el producto lejos de la pared. La pared situada detrás de

la toma de aire puede llegar a ensuciarse con el tiempo. Si utilice el producto

durante mucho tiempo en el mismo lugar, limpie periódicamente las paredes

adyacentes.

PRINCIPIO DE FUNCIONAMIENTO

El puriﬁ cador de aire capta el aire de la estancia a través de la entrada de aire, hace

circular el aire a través de un preﬁ ltro y un ﬁ ltro HEPA en el interior del producto,

y luego descarga el aire a través de la salida de aire. El ﬁ ltro HEPA es capaz de

eliminar el 99,97 % de las partículas de polvo con un tamaño de tan solo 0,3 micras

que lo atraviesan.

Algunos olores absorbidos por el ﬁ ltro se descomponen con el tiempo y dan lugar

a otros. Dependiendo de las condiciones de uso, en particular si el producto se

utiliza en entornos mucho más exigentes que el uso doméstico normal, estos

olores pueden volverse más intensos en menos tiempo de lo previsto. Si los olores

persisten, cambie el ﬁ ltro.

Mediante la descarga de ciclos de ﬂ ujo de aire intensos durante 60 minutos, el producto elimina de

réparation.

• Ne réparez pas et ne démontez pas l’appareil vous-même.

• N’introduisez pas les doigts ou le moindre objet dans les ouïes d’entrée ou

d’évacuation de l’air.

• N’exposez pas l’appareil à l’eau.

Cela pourrait provoquer un court-circuit ou une décharge électrique.

• Branchez l’équipement sur une prise d’un circuit différent de celui de la radio ou

du récepteur de télévision.

• Consultez votre revendeur ou un technicien radio/TV qualifié.

INSTALLATION

• Évitez l’utilisation dans des emplacements où des meubles, des tissus ou autres

objets peuvent entrer en contact avec l’appareil et interférer avec l’entrée et/ou la

sortie d’air.

• Évitez l’utilisation dans des emplacements où l’appareil est exposé à de la

condensation ou des changements radicaux de température. La température

ambiante appropriée se situe entre 0 et 35 ºC.

• Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable avec une circulation d’air

suffisante.

Un vent fort ou de la poussière à travers la fenêtre peuvent empêcher le produit

de purifier l’air et d’être efficace.

Lorsqu’il est placé sur un tapis épais, l’appareil peut vibrer légèrement.

• Évitez les endroits qui génèrent de la graisse ou de la fumée huileuse. Cela

risquerait de provoquer des fissures à l’extérieur de l’appareil.

• La capacité de collecte de la poussière de l’appareil est efficace même lorsqu’il

se trouve à de 3 cm du mur. Les murs et le sol environnants peuvent se salir.

Veuillez placer l’appareil à distance du mur. Le mur situé directement derrière la

sortie d’air peut se salir avec le temps. Lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil pendant

une période prolongée au même endroit, nettoyez périodiquement les murs

adjacents.

• Suivez les instructions de ce manuel pour un entretien et un entretien corrects

des filtres.

PRINCIPE DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Le puriﬁ cateur d’air achemine l’air de la pièce par l’entrée d’air, le fait passer

à l’intérieur de l’appareil par un pré-ﬁ ltre, un ﬁ ltre désodorisant et un ﬁ ltre HEPA,

puis l’évacue par la sortie d’air. Le ﬁ ltre HEPA peut arrêter 99,97 % des particules de

poussière, jusqu’à une taille de 0,3 microns, passant par le ﬁ ltre.

Certaines odeurs absorbées par le ﬁ ltre se dissipent avec le temps, causant des

odeurs supplémentaires. En fonction des conditions d'utilisation, et surtout si le

produit est utilisé dans des environnements beaucoup plus rudes que dans le cas

d'un ménage normal, ces odeurs peuvent se manifester plus tôt que prévu. Si ces

odeurs persistent, remplacez le ﬁ ltre.

REMARQUE

• Le puriﬁ cateur d’air est conçu pour éliminer les poussières suspendues dans l’air.

Le puriﬁ cateur d’air n’est pas conçu pour éliminer les gaz nocifs tels que le monoxyde de

carbone contenu dans la fumée de cigarette.

efﬁ cacement la poussière, le pollen, les moisissures et les allergènes de l’air lorsqu’ils sont aspirés

Si l’appareil est débranché ou s’il y a une panne de courant, il reprend son fonctionnement avec les

Seguire sempre le precauzioni di sicurezza di base quando si usano

apparecchi elettrici, incluse le seguenti:

ATTENZIONE

Osservare sempre quanto segue per ridurre i rischi di shock elettrico, incendio

o lesioni:

IL FUNZIONAMENTO

• Leggete tutte le istruzioni prima di utilizzare il prodotto.

• Usare solamente una presa da 220-240 volt.

• Non utilizzare l’unità se il filo elettrico o la presa sono danneggiati o se la

connessione con l’attacco al muro è allentata.

• Togliete sempre la polvere dalla presa.

• Quando si rimuove la spina, afferrarla sempre per la spina e mai tirare dal filo.

In caso contrario, potrebbe verificarsi un cortocircuito che potrebbe generare uno

shock elettrico o un incendio.

• Fare attenzione a non danneggiare il cavo elettrico: potrebbero verificarsi corti

circuiti, surriscaldamento o incendi.

• Non staccate la spina con le mani umide.

• Assicurarsi di rimuovere la spina prima di eseguire manutenzione, quando si

rimuove, fissa o sostituisce il filtro e quando l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato

a lungo. Il mancato rispetto di queste precauzioni può provocare un cortocircuito

che può generare shock elettrico o incendio.

• Se il cavo elettrico è rovinato, deve essere sostituito dal produttore, un suo

agente di servizio, un Centro assistenza della Sharp o una persona similmente

qualificata, in modo da evitare rischi. Contattare il Centro assistenza più vicino

per qualsiasi problema, regolazione o riparazione.

• Non riparare o smontare l'unità principale da sé.

• Non inserite dita od oggetti estranei nella presa o nello scarico d’aria.

• Non esporre l'unità principale ad acqua, altrimenti c'è rischio di cortocircuiti

e shock elettrici.

• Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini dagli 8 anni in su e da

persone con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali e mentali o senza esperienza

e conoscenza se sotto supervisione o se hanno ricevuto istruzioni riguardo

l'uso dell'apparecchio in maniera sicura e ne hanno compreso i potenziali

rischi. La pulizia e la manutenzione non possono essere fatti da bambini senza

supervisione.

INSTALLAZIONE

• Non usare questo prodotto in vicinanza di apparecchi a gas o caminetti.

Quando il prodotto viene messo in funzione con apparecchi a gas nella stessa

stanza, ventilare la stanza periodicamente, in caso contrario potrebbe causare

intossicazione da monossido di carbonio.

• Non utilizzare l’unità in stanze dove è presente dell’insetticida nell’aria. Non

utilizzare l’unità principale in stanze dove ci sono residui oleosi, incenso, scintille

da sigarette accese o vapori chimici nell’aria.

• Tenere il prodotto lontano dall’acqua.

Non mettere in funzione il prodotto in luoghi dove potrebbe bagnarsi, come in

bagno.

MANUTENZIONE

• Fate attenzione durante la pulizia dell’unità. Pulitori potentemente corrosivi

potrebbero danneggiare la parte esterna.

PRECAUZIONI

IL FUNZIONAMENTO

• Non bloccare la presa e/o lo scarico dell’aria.

• Usate sempre l’unità in posizione verticale.

• Quando si sposta il prodotto, usare la maniglia sulla parte posteriore.

• Non spostare l’unità mentre è in funzione.

• Se l'unità si trova su un pavimento che può facilmente essere danneggiato, una

superficie irregolare o un tappeto spesso, sollevarla prima di spostarla.

• Non azionare l’unità principale senza che tutti i filtri siano correttamente inseriti.

INSTALLAZIONE

• Non utilizzare l’unità vicino o su oggetti caldi, come una stufa o un termosifone,

o dove potrebbe venire in contatto con del vapore.

MANUTENZIONE

• Pulire l'esterno soltanto con un panno morbido.

Non usare fluidi o detergenti volatili.

L'unità principale potrebbe subire danni o crepe causate da benzina, diluente per

vernice e polvere per lucidare.

• Non strofinare con eccessiva energia il pannello posteriore durante la

manutenzione.

• Non lavare e riutilizzare il filtro HEPA.

Una tale operazione non migliorerà il rendimento del filtro e potrebbe anche

causare shock elettrico o malfunzionamenti.

NOTA

Cosa fare se l'unità crea interferenze con la ricezione della

radio o del televisore

Se il purificatore d’aria interferisce nella ricezione della radio o del televisore,

provare uno dei seguenti suggerimenti:

• Riorientare o ricollocare l’antenna di ricezione.

• Aumentare la distanza tra l'unità principale e la radio o la TV.

• Collegare l’apparecchio a una presa o un circuito diverso da quello a cui

è collegata la radio o la TV.

• Consultare il fornitore o un tecnico qualificato per la radio o il televisore.

CARTAMODELLO

• Evitare luoghi in cui mobili, tessuti o altri oggetti possano entrare in contatto con

l'unità e interferire con l'ingresso o l'uscita dell'aria.

• Evitare luoghi in cui l'unità possa essere esposta a condensa o a variazioni

drastiche della temperatura. La temperatura appropriata della stanza è 0-35ºC.

• Collocare il prodotto su una superficie stabile e a livello con sufficiente

circolazione dell’aria. Forti venti o polvere dalla finestra potrebbero impedire

l’operazione di purificazione dell’aria e l’efficacia del prodotto.

• Evitare luoghi che generano fumo da grasso o olio.

In caso contrario, l'involucro esterno dell'unità principale potrebbe spaccarsi.

• La capacità di raccolta della polvere dell'unità principale è efficace anche quando

essa è a una distanza dal muro di 3 cm, ma le pareti circostanti e il pavimento

potrebbero sporcarsi. Collocare l'unità principale a distanza dalla parete. La

parete direttamente dietro lo sbocco dell'aria potrebbe sporcarsi nel corso del

tempo. Quando si utilizza l'unità esterna per un lungo periodo di tempo in uno

stesso posto, pulire periodicamente le pareti adiacenti a essa.

• Seguire le istruzioni di questo manuale per corrette cura e manutenzione dei filtri.

PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO

Il puriﬁ catore incamera l’aria della stanza dalla presa d’aria, la fa passare all’interno

dell’unità attraverso un pre-ﬁ ltro, un ﬁ ltro deodorizzante e un ﬁ ltro HEPA e poi la

rilascia attraverso lo scarico d’aria. Il ﬁ ltro HEPA rimuove il 99,97% delle particelle di

polvere ﬁ no alla grandezza di 0,3 micron che passano attraverso il ﬁ ltro.

Alcuni odori assorbiti dai ﬁ ltri si libereranno nel corso del tempo, causando odori

aggiuntivi. A seconda delle condizioni di uso, e in particolare se l’unità viene usata in

ambienti signiﬁ cativamente più complessi di un normale ambiente casalingo, questi

odori potrebbero notarsi prima del previsto. Se questi odori persistono, sostituire

i ﬁ ltri.

NOTA

• Il puriﬁ catore d'aria è progettato per rimuovere polvere sospesa e odori, ma non gas dannosi

(per esempio, monossido di carbonio contenuto nel fumo di sigaretta.)

UTILIZZO

Rilasciando continuativamente un potente ﬂ usso d’aria per 60 minuti, l’unità rimuove effettivamente

polvere, polline, muffa e allergeni sospesi nell’aria poiché vengono assorbiti dal sistema di ﬁ ltraggio.

Se l'unità principale viene scollegata dall'alimentazione o se c'è una mancanza di elettricità,

l'unità principale riprenderà a funzionare con le impostazioni precedenti dopo che l'elettricità viene

puriﬁ cazione di una stanza dove vengono fumate 5 sigarette al giorno e le prestazioni di

raccolta della polvere del prodotto sono ridotte alla metà di quelle di un nuovo ﬁ ltro. La

durata del ﬁ ltro varia a seconda dell’ambiente della stanza, delle condizioni di uso, e la

posizione del prodotto. Noi suggeriamo di sostituire il ﬁ ltro con maggior frequenza se è usato

in condizioni signiﬁ cativamente più difﬁ cili (PM2.5, ecc.) di una normale casa.

Consultare la pagina 6 per istruzioni su come installare il

ﬁ ltro durante la sostituzione.

• Consultare il fornitore per l'acquisto dei ﬁ ltri sostitutivi.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES

Bij het gebruik van elektrische apparaten dient u altijd enkele fundamentele

veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht te nemen, waaronder:

WAARSCHUWING

Neem altijd het onderstaande in acht om het gevaar voor een elektrische schok,

brand of lichamelijk letsel te voorkomen:

BEDIENING

• Lees alle instructies goed door voordat u het product in gebruik neemt.

• Gebruik uitsluitend een stopcontact van 220 - 240 volt.

• Gebruik het product niet als het netsnoer of de stekker beschadigd is of als de

aansluiting op het stopcontact los zit.

• Stof de stekker regelmatig af.

• Houd bij het verwijderen van het netsnoer altijd de stekker vast en trek nooit aan

het snoer.

Als u dit niet doet, kan dit resulteren in kortsluiting hetgeen leidt tot een

elektrische schok of brand.

• Let op dat u het netsnoer niet beschadigt. Als u dit niet doet en het netsnoer raakt

beschadigd, dan kan dit leiden tot een elektrische schok, warmteontwikkkeling of

brand.

• Hanteer de stekker niet met natte handen.

• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u onderhoud uitvoert, als u de filter

verwijdert, bevestigt en terugplaatst of als u het apparaat gedurende langere tijd

niet gebruikt. Als u dit niet doet, kan dit resulteren in kortsluiting hetgeen leidt tot

een elektrische schok of brand.

• Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet dit worden vervangen door de fabrikant,

zijn onderhoudsvertegenwoordiger, door Sharp erkend onderhoudspersoneel of

ander bevoegd personeel om alle mogelijke risico’s uit te sluiten.

Neem in geval van problemen of voor afstelling of reparatie contact op met het

dichtstbijzijnde servicecenter.

• Repareer of demonteer het product niet zelf.

• Steek geen vingers of vreemde voorwerpen in de luchtinlaat of luchtuitlaat.

• Stel het product niet bloot aan water.

Als u dit wel doet, kan dit leiden tot kortsluiting of een elektrische schok.

• Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder en personen

met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke vermogens of gebrek

aan ervaring en kennis, zolang ze onder toezicht staan of zijn geïnstrueerd

over het gebruik van het apparaat op een veilige manier en op de hoogte zijn

van het gevaar tijdens het gebruik. Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat

spelen. Reiniging en onderhoud mag niet zonder toezicht door kinderen worden

uitgevoerd.

INSTALLATIE

• Gebruik dit product niet in de buurt van gastoestellen of een open haard.

Als het product wordt gebruikt met gasapparaten in dezelfde ruimte,

dan moet u de ruimte regelmatig ventileren. Anders kan dit leiden tot

koolmonoxidevergiftiging.

• Gebruik dit product niet in ruimtes waar met insecticiden gespoten is.

Gebruik het product niet in ruimtes waar oliebestanddelen, wierook, vonken van

brandende sigaretten of chemische dampen in de lucht aanwezig zijn.

• Stel het product niet bloot aan water.

Gebruik het product niet in ruimtes waar deze nat kan worden, zoals in een

badkamer.

ONDERHOUD

• Wees voorzichtig bij het schoonmaken van het product.

Agressieve reinigingsmiddelen kunnen de buitenkant beschadigen.

VOORZICHTIG

BEDIENING

• Blokkeer de luchtinlaat en/of luchtuitlaat niet.

• Gebruik het product altijd rechtopstaand.

• Gebruik het handvat aan de achterzijde van het product om het product te

verplaatsen.

• Verplaats het product niet als dit in gebruik is.

• Als het product op een vloer staat die gemakkelijk beschadigd raakt, op een

ongelijke ondergrond of op een dikt tapijt, til deze dan op als u deze verplaatst.

• Gebruik het product niet als de filters niet correct geïnstalleerd zijn.

INSTALLATIE

• Plaats het product niet in de buurt van of boven hete voorwerpen, zoals een

kachel of oven, noch op plaatsen waar deze aan stoom kan worden blootgesteld.

ONDERHOUD

• Reinig de buitenkant alleen met een zachte doek.

Gebruik geen vluchtige vloeistoffen of reinigingsmiddelen.

Het oppervlak van het product kan beschadigd raken of barsten als

u verfverdunner met benzeen of schuurpoeder.

• Vermijd hard borstelen bij het onderhoud van het achterpaneel.

• De HEPA-filter kan niet worden gewassen of opnieuw worden gebruikt.

Als u dit wel doet, worden de filterprestaties niet verbeterd en het kan eveneens

resulteren in elektrische schokken of storingen.

OPMERKING

Wat u moet doen als het product de radio- of tv-ontvangst

verstoort

Als de luchtreiniger de radio- of televisie-ontvangst verstoort, voer dan een of

meerdere van de volgende maatregelen uit:

• Pas de ontvangstantenne aan of positioneer deze opnieuw.

• Vergroot de afstand tussen het product en de radio of tv.

• Sluit de luchtreiniger aan op een stopcontact in een andere stroomgroep dan de

groep waarop de radio- of televisie-ontvanger is aangesloten.

• Raadpleeg uw dealer of een gekwalificeerde radio- of tv-monteur.

INSTALLATIE

• Vermijd plaatsen waar meubels, stoffen of andere objecten in contact kunnen

komen met het product en de in- en uitlaat van lucht kunnen verstoren.

• Vermijd plaatsen waar het product wordt blootgesteld aan condens of grote

temperatuurswijzigingen. Een geschikte kamertemperatuur ligt tussen 0 en 35ºC.

• Plaats het product op een vlakke en stabiele ondergrond en zorg dat een goede

luchtcirculatie mogelijk is.

Sterke wind of stof door het raam kan de luchtzuiverende werking en de

doeltreffendheid van het product belemmeren.

Als u het product op een zwaar tapijt plaatst, dan kan het product licht trillen.

• Vermijd plaatsen waar vet of olieachtige rook ontstaat. Als u dit niet doet, kan dit

ertoe leiden dat er scheurtjes in de buitenzijde van het product ontstaan.

• De stofverzamelingsfunctie van het product is zelfs effectief als de afstand tussen

het product en de wand slechts 3 cm bedraagt. De omringende wanden en

vloer kunnen vuil worden. Plaats het product op afstand van de wand. De wand

direct achter de luchtuitlaat kan na verloop van tijd vuil worden. Als u het product

gedurende langere tijd op dezelfde plaats gebruikt, reinig dan regelmatig de

omringende wanden.

ONDERHOUD

• Volg de instructies in deze handleiding voor een juiste verzorging en correct

onderhoud van de filters.

BEDIENINGSPRINCIPE

De luchtreiniger neemt via de luchtinlaat de kamerlucht op, laat de lucht

achtereenvolgens circuleren door een voorﬁ lter en een HEPA-ﬁ lter in het product en

blaast de lucht dan via de luchtuitlaat weer de kamer in. De HEPA-ﬁ lter verwijdert

99,97% van stofdeeltjes groter dan 0,3 micron.

Sommige geuren die de ﬁ lters absorberen, worden na verloop van tijd

afgebroken waardoor er bijkomende geuren ontstaan. Afhankelijk van de

gebruiksomstandigheden, voornamelijk als het product wordt gebruikt in een

omgeving die aanzienlijk veeleisender is dan een huishoudelijke omgeving, kunnen

deze bijkomende geuren sneller dan verwacht sterker worden. Als deze geuren

aanhouden, vervangt u de ﬁ lters.

OPMERKING

• De luchtreiniger is bedoeld om luchtgedragen stofdeeltjes uit de lucht te verwijderen.

De luchtreiniger is niet ontworpen voor de verwijdering van schadelijke gassen, zoals

koolmonoxide dat in sigarettenrook zit.

• Om de kwaliteit van de ﬁ lter te waarborgen, is deze verpakt in een plastic zak, die in het

product is geplaatst.

Door de afvoer in continu sterke luchtstroomcycli in 60 minuten, verwijdert het product effectief stof,

pollen, schimmels en allergenen uit de lucht terwijl het ﬁ ltersysteem deze aanzuigt.

Als het stroomsnoer van het product is losgekoppeld of als er een stroomstoring is, hervat de unit

de werking met vorige instellingen zodra er stroom is.

VERZORGING EN ONDERHOUD

Veeg deze af met een droge, zachte doek.

Voor hardnekkige vlekken of vuil, gebruikt u een zachte doek die in warm water

is gedoopt.

OPMERKING

• Gebruik geen vluchtige vloeistoﬀ en.

Benzine, verfverdunner, schuurpoeder etc. kunnen het oppervlak beschadigen.

• Gebruik geen schoonmaakmiddelen.

De ingrediënten van schoonmaakmiddelen kunnen het product beschadigen.

HOOFDUNIT

Trek altijd de stekker uit het

stopcontact.

• Om zeker te zijn van optimale prestaties van de luchtreiniger, moet het product

regelmatig worden schoongemaakt, inclusief de ﬁ lter.

HEPA-FILTER Verwijder voorzichtig het stof van de HEPA-ﬁ lter met het

borstelhulpstuk van een stofzuiger of een vergelijkbaar

gereedschap.

OPMERKING

• Niet WASSEN met water en niet laten DROGEN in het

zonlicht.

• Voer het onderhoud alleen uit aan de zijde waar het label zit.

Maak de andere zijde niet schoon, anders kan de ﬁ lter

beschadigd raken.

De ﬁ lter is breekbaar, dus pas niet te veel druk toe.

OPMERKING Grondige reiniging om vuil te verwijderen

Achterpaneel 1. Voeg een kleine hoeveelheid keukenreiniger toe aan

water en laat gedurende ongeveer 10 minuten weken.

2. Spoel de keukenreiniger weg met schoon water.

3. Laat de ﬁ lter volledig drogen in een goed geventileerde

ruimte.

ACHTERPANEEL (voorfilter)

Verwijder voorzichtig al het stof met het borstelhulpstuk van

een stofzuiger of een vergelijkbaar gereedschap.

OPMERKING

Oefen niet te veel druk uit als u het achterpaneel schoon

veegt.

De levensduur van een HEPA-ﬁ lter en de vervangingssuggesties zijn gebaseerd op de

luchtreiniging in een ruimte waarin 5 sigaretten per dag worden gerookt en waarbij de

stofverzameling door het product verslechterd zijn tot halverwege het niveau van een nieuwe

ﬁ lter.

De levensduur van de ﬁ lter hangt af van de gebruiksomstandigheden, het gebruik en de

locatie van het product.

We raden u aan de ﬁ lter regelmatiger te vervangen als het product gebruikt wordt onder

omstandigheden die aanzienlijk veeleisender (PM2.5 etc.) zijn dan

dan normale omstandigheden.

Zie pagina 6 voor aanwijzingen over de installatie van een

vervangend ﬁ lter.

• Neem a.u.b. contact op met uw dealer voor de aankoop van een

vervangende ﬁ lter.

• Gebruik alleen een ﬁ lter dat ontworpen is voor dit product.

ONJUISTE VERWIJDERING kan vanwege bepaalde substanties schadelijk

zijn voor de gezondheid en het milieu! Breng GEBRUIKTE APPARATUUR

naar een plaatselijk, meestal gemeentelijke, inzamelpunt, indien mogelijk.

Als u twijfels hebt over de verwijdering, neem dan contact op met de lokale

autoriteiten en vraag naar de juiste verwijderingsmethode.

ALLEEN VOOR GEBRUIKERS IN DE EUROPESE UNIE EN ENKELE

ANDERE LANDEN; BIJVOORBEELD NOORWEGEN EN ZWITSERLAND:

U bent wettelijk verplicht deel te nemen aan gescheiden inzameling.

Het bovenstaande symbool staat op elektrische en elektronische apparatuur

(of de verpakking) om gebruikers hieraan te herinneren.

Gebruikers uit PARTICULIERE HUISHOUDENS zijn verplicht gebruik te

maken van bestaande inzamelingsinrichtingen voor gebruikte apparatuur.

Retourneren is gratis.

Als de apparatuur gebruikt is voor ZAKELIJKE DOELEINDEN, neem

dan contact op met uw SHARP-dealer die u zal informeren over de

terugname. Het kan zijn dat u een bijdrage voor de terugname moet

betalen. Kleine producten (en kleine hoeveelheden) kunnen door de lokale

inzamelingsinrichtingen worden verwerkt. Voor Spanje: Neem contact op met

de inzamelingsinrichting of de lokale autoriteiten voor de terugname van uw

afgedankte producten.

2. In andere landen buiten de Europese Unie

Als u dit product wilt weggooien, neem dan contact op met de plaatselijke

autoriteiten voor informatie omtrent de juiste verwijderingsprocedure.

Voor Zwitserland: U kunt afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur

kosteloos bij de distributeur inleveren, zelfs als u geen nieuw product koopt.

1. In de Europese Unie

Als u het product voor zakelijke doeleinden heeft gebruikt en als u dit wilt

weggooien:

Neem contact op met uw SHARP-dealer die u inlichtingen verschaft over

de terugname van het product. Het kan zijn dat u een bijdrage voor de

terugname en recycling moet betalen.

Kleine producten (en kleine hoeveelheden) kunnen door de lokale

inzamelingsinrichtingen worden verwerkt.

Voor Spanje: Neem contact op met de inzamelingsinrichting of de lokale

autoriteiten voor de terugname van uw afgedankte producten.

2. In andere landen buiten de Europese Unie

Als u dit product wilt weggooien, neem dan contact op met de plaatselijke
