Giet nooit koude vloeistoffen in de warme keramische kuip.
Vermijd het stoten van geëmailleerde onderdelen tegen een
hard oppervlak.
Door het specifieke proces van emailleren, is het bij deze
modellen soms mogelijk dat fijne randen niet volledig met
email bedekt werden. Dit wordt niet gezien als een fabricage-
of constructiefout en valt dus ook niet onder de garantie.

Handgemaakte keramiek kan door blootstelling aan hoge hitte
na enige tijd licht craqueleren. Dit is eigen aan het product en
valt niet onder de garantie.

Om roestvorming op roestvaste onderdelen te voorkomen ver-
mijd je best ieder contact met chloor, zout of ijzer.
De gebruiksomgeving kan de levensduur van je toestel negatief
beïnvloeden. Minder gunstige locaties zijn bv; kuststreken,
nabij spoorwegen, in de buurt van een zwembad.

instructions For use
A) Safety
1. Do not use indoors.
2. Use only outdoors in a wellventilated area.
3. Do not use under any overhead combustible construction.
4. Do not use in high winds.
5. Always place the barbecue on a stable floor prior to use
away from flammable and meltable objects.
6. ATTENTION PLEASE ! This barbecue will become very hot,
do not move it during operation and never leave it unat-
tended. To move it, wait until the fire is fully extinguished
and the barbecue has cooled down completely.
7. CAUTION! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or re-
lighting! Use only firelighters complying to EN 1860-3!
Never poor petrol, spirit or comparable fluids over the
grilltabs or charcoal.
8. WARNING ! Keep children and pets away from the bar-
becue, protect yourself from the fire.
9. Do not wear thin and loose fitting synthetic clothing near
the barbecue.
B) Preparation
1. Protect your table
2. Place the ceramic bowl on the table and pour 1/2l water
in the bowl.
3. Place the stainless steel inner bowl in the ceramic bowl.
C) Lighting
1. Take a unidosis of grilltabs
®
, remove the lid and place
the aluminium tray in the stainless steel inner bowl.
2. Light the woodwool using a long match. Light it left, right
and in the middle.
3. After a couple of minutes the size of the flames will
increase to approx. 35cm. The woodwool will have burned
down after approx. 20 minutes.
4. If you choose to use loose grilltabs
®
, do not use more
then 650g or 13 grilltabs
®
at a time. If you choose other
charcoal, do not use more than 500g. Always use dry
and purified charcoal that complies with EN 1860-2.
D) First use
We recommend prior to the first cooking on your barbecook
®
to heat the barbecue up and let the fuel kept red hot for at
least 30 minutes.
This burn-in period is necessary.
E) Use
1. About 40 minutes after lighting the grilltabs are covered
with a tin layer of white ash. Do not cook before the
grilltabs or fuel has a coating of ash.
2. Put the cooking grid now on the grill.
3. A unidose of grilltabs
®
will provide you around 60minutes
of cooking pleasure.
4. Never grill in the flames.
F) Maintenance
1. After use wait untill the fire is totally extinguished and
the grill has cooled down completely. Let the barbecue
extinguish by itself or pour sand over it.
2. Throw the ashes on the compost heap or use it as fertilizer
for plants. Aluminium is 100% recyclable, dispose of it in
the metal waste.
3. We recommend to use the barbecook
®
Foam Cleaner
(223.1099.600) for cleaning the inner fire bowl and the
chromed cooking grid. Always use a soft cloth or sponge.
The stainless steel inner bowl and chrome-plated grid
surface are dishwasher safe.
4. Wash the ceramic outer bowl after it has completely
cooled down with a cloth or sponge and a mild deter-
