Il y a d’importantes informations sur l’installation, sur l’emploi et sur la sécurité. • Il est important de conserver ce livret pour pouvoir le consulter à tout moment: en cas de vente, de cession ou de déménagement, assurez-vous qu’elle reste avec le produit. • Le constructeur décline toute responsabilité pour tous les inconvénients, dommages ou incendies provoqués à l’appareil et dûs à la non observation des instructions de la présente notice. • Utilisez des gants de travail pour toute opération d'installation, ou de nettoyage ou d'entretien. • La hotte peut avoir des configurations esthétiques différentes par rapport à ce qui est illustré dans les dessins de ce manuel, cependant les instructions pour l’utilisation, l’entretien et l’installation restent identiques. • Ne pas effectuer des modifications électriques ou mécaniques sur le produit ou sur les conduits d’évacuation. • Avant d'installer l'appareil, vérifiez qu’il n’y a aucun composant endommagé. Sinon, contactez votre revendeur et ne pas continuer l'installation. Note: les pièces indiquées avec le symbole “(*)” sont des accessoires optionnels qui sont fournies uniquement avec certains modèles ou des pièces non fournies qui doivent être achetées. • Avant toute opération de nettoyage ou d'entretien, débranchez la hotte du circuit électrique en retirant la prise ou en coupant l'interrupteur général de l'habitation. • La hotte doit être régulièrement nettoyée à la fois à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur (AU MOINS UNE FOIS PAR MOIS); cela devrait se faire en conformité avec les instructions d'entretien. • L'utilisation d'une flamme nue est dommageable pour les filtres et peut causer un incendie, par conséquent, elles doivent être évitées de toute façon. • La friture d'aliments doit être faite avec soin afin de s’assurer que l’huile surchauffée ne prend pas feu. • Lorsque la table de cuisson est en fonctionnement, les parties accessibles de la hotte peuvent devenir très chaudes. • Ne pas brancher l'appareil au réseau électrique avant que l'installation est complètement terminée. En ce qui concerne les mesures techniques et de sécurité à prendre pour l'évacuation des fumées, respectez strictement les dispositions des règlements locales. L’air ne doit pas être envoyé dans un conduit utiliser pour évacuer les fumées d’appareils utilisant du gaz ou un autre combustible. 10 • Ne pas utiliser ou laisser la hotte sans les lampes correctement montées, car un éventuel risque de choc électrique est possible. Pour le remplacement de la lampe, utilisez uniquement le type de lampe spécifié dans la section remplacement/maintenance lampe dans ce manuel. Ne touchez pas les ampoules après avoir utilisé l’appareil, vous risquez de vous brûler. • N’utilisez jamais la hotte sans la grille montée correctement! • La hotte ne doit JAMAIS être utilisée comme une surface d'appui, sauf indication expresse. N'utilisez jamais la hotte comme plan de travail. • Utilisez uniquement les vis de fixation fournies avec le produit pour l'installation, ou, si non fournies, acheter le type correct de vis. • Utilisez la longueur correcte pour les vis qui sont identifiées dans le Guide d'installation. En cas de doute, consultez votre centre de service agréé ou du personnel qualifié. • Le défaut d'installer les vis et les dispositifs de fixation conformément à ces instructions peut entraîner des risques électriques. • Ne pas mettre en marche au moyen d’un programmateur, d’une minuterie, ou d’un système de commande à distance séparé ou tout autre dispositif qui met l’appareil sous tension automatiquement. • N’essayez pas d’examiner les filtres pendant que la hotte est en fonctionnement.La présence de flammes libres peut endommager les filtres et donner lieu à des incendies,il faut donc les éviter à tout prix. 11 DESCRIPTION La hotte est réalisée de façon qu’elle puisse être utilisée en version aspirante à évacuation extérieure, ou filtrante à recyclage intérieur. AVANT L’INSTALLATION Avant de commencer l’installation: • Assurez-vous que les dimensions de la hotte et de son conduit sont compatibles avec votre cuisinière et hauteur de plafond. • Enlevez le(s) filtre(s) au charbon actif (*) si ceux-ci sont fournis (voir également le paragraphe concerné). Celui-ci(ceux-ci) est(sont) remonté(s) uniquement si l’on veut utiliser la hotte en version recyclage. • Vérifiez qu’à l’intérieur de la hotte il n’y est pas (pour des raisons de transport) d’autre matériel fourni avec l’équipement (par exemple: vis (*), garanties (*) etc., dans ce cas, enlevez-les et conservez-les. • Vérifiez que le produit est en parfait état. S’il est endommagé, ne poursuivez pas l’installation et contactez votre service après-vente. INSTALLATION Appareil excessivement lourd ; la manutention et l’installation de la hotte doivent être effectuées par deux personnes ou plus. La hotte est équipée de chevilles de fixation convenant à la plupart des parois/plafonds. Il est cependant nécessaire de s’adresser à un technicien qualifié afin 12 de s’assurer que le matériel est approprié au type de paroi/plafond. La paroi/plafond doit être suffisamment solide pour supporter le poids de la hotte. La distance minimum entre la superficie de support des récipients sur le dispositif de cuisson et la partie la plus basse de la hotte de cuisine ne doit pas être inférieure à 50cm dans le cas de cuisinières électriques et de 65cm dans le cas de cuisinières à gaz ou mixtes. Si les instructions d’installation du dispositif de cuisson au gaz spécifient une plus grande distance, il faut en tenir compte Attention ! Le fait de ne pas suivre les instructions de cette notice peut entraîner des risques électriques. En cas de doute, consultez un centre après-vente agréé ou un technicien agréé. Branchement électrique Le raccordement électrique de la hotte au circuit électrique doit être effectué par du personnel technique qualifié et spécialisé. La tension électrique doit correspondre à la tension reportée sur la plaque signalétique située à l’intérieur de la hotte. Si une prise est présente, branchez la hotte dans une prise murale conforme aux normes en vigueur et placée dans une zone accessible également après l’installation. Si aucune prise n’est présente (raccordement direct au circuit électrique), ou si la prise ne se trouve pas dans une zone accessible également après l’installation, appliquez un disjoncteur normalisé pour assurer de débrancher complètement la hotte du circuit électrique en conditions de catégorie surtension III, conformément aux règlementations de montage. Attention! Avant de rebrancher le circuit de la hotte à l’alimentation électrique et d’en vérifier le fonctionnement correct, contrôlez toujours que le câble d’alimentation soit monté correctement. La hotte est pourvue d'un câble d'alimentation spécial; en cas de détérioration du câble, en demander un neuf au service d'assistance technique 13 UTILISATION Version évacuation extérieure Les vapeurs sont évacuées vers l'extérieur à travers un conduit d'évacuation fixé à la bride de raccord qui se trouve au-dessus de la hotte. Attention! Le tuyau d’évacuation n’est pas fourni et doit être acheté à part. Le diamètre du tuyau d'évacuation doit être égal à celui de la bride de raccord. Si la hotte est équipée d'un filtre à charbon, ce dernier doit être enlevé. Relier la hotte aux tubes et trous d’évacuation de la paroi d’un diamètre équivalent à la sortie de l’air (collier de raccord). ! Utiliser un tuyau de la longueur strictement nécessaire. ! Les coudes du tuyau doivent être en nombre minime (angle maxi du coude: 90°). ! Éviter les variations excessives de section du tuyau. ! Le matériau du tuyau doit être aux norms. Version recyclage Dans le cas où l’évacuation des fumées et vapeurs vers l’extérieur n’est pas possible, la hotte peut être utilisée en mode recyclage. L'air d'aspiration sera dégraissé et désodorisé avant d'être renvoyé dans la pièce. Pour utiliser la hotte dans cette version, vous devez installer un système de filtrage supplémentaire basé sur charbon actif. 14 Fonctionnement La hotte est équipée d’un panneau de contrôle doté d’une commande de vitesse d’aspiration et d’une commande d’éclairage du plan de cuisson. a. Interrupteur lumières ON/OFF. b. Interrupteur OFF/vitesse 1 c. Sélection vitesse 2 d. Sélection vitesse 3 Note : le bouton b. correspond à la vitesse 1 mais il sert également d'interrupteur marche-arrêt. Par conséquent, il doit être enfoncé si vous souhaitez sélectionner la vitesse 2 ou 3. Conseils d’économie d’énergie Allumer la hotte à la vitesse minimum pendant la cuisson et la laisser fonctionner pendant quelques minutes après la fin de la cuisson. Augmenter la vitesse uniquement en présence d’une grande quantité de fumée ou de vapeur et n’utiliser la/les vitesse(s) accélérées que dans les cas extrêmes. Remplacer le(s) filtre(s) au charbon lorsque cela est nécessaire afin de maintenir une réduction efficace des odeurs. Nettoyer le(s) filtres à graisse lorsque cela est nécessaire afin de maintenir un filtrage efficace des graisses. Utiliser un système de tuyauterie du diamètre maximum indiqué dans ce manuel afin d’optimiser le rendement et de minimiser le bruit. 15 NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN Nettoyage Attention ! Avant toute opération de nettoyage ou d’entretien, débranchez la hotte du circuit électrique en enlevant la prise ou en coupant l’interrupteur général de l’habitation. L’intérieur et l’extérieur de la hotte doivent être nettoyés régulièrement (environ une fois par mois). Pour cela, utilisez un chiffon humidifié avec un détergent liquide neutre. N’utilisez pas de produit contenant des abrasifs. N’UTILISEZ PAS D'ALCOOL! ATTENTION: Il y a risque d’incendie si vous ne respectez pas les instructions concernant le nettoyage de l’appareil et le remplacement ou le nettoyage du filtre. Nettoyage de la surface extérieure • Pour protéger la surface extérieure de la hotte de la corrosion pouvant apparaître sur le long terme, veillez à la nettoyer tous les deux mois avec de l’eau chaude et un détergent non abrasif. • Le moteur et les autres pièces ne doivent pas entrer en contact avec de l’eau. • Les filtres à charbon ne doivent pas être exposés à la chaleur. Filtre anti-gras Fig. 9-14 Il retient les particules de graisse issues de la cuisson. Le filtre anti-graisse métallique doit être nettoyé une fois par mois avec des détergents non agressifs, à la main ou dans le lave-vaisselle à faibles températures et cycle rapide. Le lavage du filtre anti-graisse métallique au lave-vaisselle peut en provoquer la décoloration. Toutefois, les caractéristiques de filtrage ne seront en aucun cas modifiées. Pour démonter le filtre anti-graisse, tirer la poignée de décrochement à ressort. Filtre à charbon actif (uniquement pour version recyclage) Fig. 13 Retient les odeurs désagréables de cuisson. La saturation du charbon actif se constate aprés un emploi plus ou moins long, selon la fréquence d'utilisation et la régularité du nettoyage du filtre à graisses. En tout cas, il est nécessaire de changer le filtre aprés, au maximum, quatre mois. IL NE PEUT PAS être nettoyé ou régénéré. Enlever les filtres anti-graisse. Appliquer un filtre au charbon par côté et l’accrocher à la hotte. Remettre les filtres anti-graisse. Remplacement des lampes La hotte est dotée d’un système d’éclairage basé sur la technologie LED. Les LEDS garantissent un éclairage optimal, une durée jusqu’à 10 fois supérieures aux ampoules traditionnelles et permettent une économie de 90% en énergie électrique. Pour accéder aux lampes, débranchez d'abord l'appareil du réseau électrique, puis retirez le couvercle. Attention ! Avant de toucher les lampes, assurez-vous qu’elles soient froides.Pour l'achat des LED à remplacer, il faut contacter le service après-vente (assistance technique). 16 SPECIFICATIONS Voici la fiche produit de votre hotte, conformément au règlement Européen No 65/2014. It contains important information about installation, use and safety. • It is important to keep this booklet for future reference at any time: in the case of sale, cession or move, make sure it is kept together with the product. • The manufacturer declines all responsibility, for any eventual inconveniences, damages or fires caused by not complying with the instructions in this manual. • Use work gloves for all installation, cleaning or maintenance operation. • The hood can have different aesthetic configurations with respect to what is illustrated in the drawings of this manual, however the instructions for use, maintenance and installation remain the same. • Do not carry out electrical or mechanical modifications to the product or the exhaust ducts. • Before installing the appliance, check that there is no damaged component. Otherwise, contact your dealer and do not continue the installation. Note: the elements marked with the symbol ‘(*)’ are optional accessories that are supplied only with some models or parts not supplied that must be purchased. • Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the hood from the mains by unplugging it or turning off the main switch of the house. • The hood must be regularly cleaned both inside and outside (AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH); this should be done in accordance with the maintenance instructions. • The use of an open flame is damaging to the filters and may cause fire, therefore they should be avoided under any circumstances. • Frying foods must be done carefully to ensure that the cooking oil does not catch fire. • When the hob is in use, accessible parts of the hood may become very hot. • Do not connect the appliance to the mains until the installation is completely finished. Regarding the technical and safety measures to be taken for the evacuation of fumes, strictly observe the provisions of local regulations. The air should not be sent into a duct used to evacuate fumes from appliances using gas or another fuel. • Do not use or leave the hood without the bulbs correctly mounted because a potential risk of electric shock is possible. To replace the lamp, use only the type specified in the lamp replacement/lamp maintenance section of this manual. Do not touch the bulbs after using the appliance, you may get burned. • Never use the hood without the grill mounted properly! • The hood must NEVER be used as a support surface unless specifically indicated. Never use the hood as a work plan. • Use only the screws provided with the product for installation, or, if not included, purchase the correct type of screws. • Use the correct length for the screws that are identified in the Installation Guide. If in doubt, consult your authorized service centre or qualified personnel. • Failure to install the screws and fasteners in accordance with the instructions may cause electrical hazards. • Do not start using a programmer, a timer or a separate remote control system or any other device that turns the power on automatically. • Do not attempt to examine the filters while the hood is operating. The presence of open flames can damage the filters and result in fire, so avoid them at all costs. 2 DESCRIPTION The hood is designed so it can be used in the exhaust ducting version or filtering version with internal recycling. BEFORE INSTALLATION Before starting the installation: • Make sure the size of the hood and its duct are compatible with your cooker and ceiling height. • Remove the activated charcoal filter(s) (*) if provided (see also related paragraph). It (these) is (are) assembled only if you want to use the hood in the recycling version. • Check that inside the hood there is not (for shipping purposes) other materials provided with the equipment (eg screw (*), warantee certificates (*) etc. In this case, remove them and keep them. • Make sure the product is in perfect condition. If damaged, do not continue with the installation and contact your after‐sales service. INSTALLATION Excessively heavy appliance; handling and installation of the hood should be made by two or more people. The hood features fixing plugs suitable for most types of walls/ceilings. However, it is necessary to contact a qualified technician to ensure that the material is appropriate to the type of wall/ceiling. The wall/ceiling must be strong enough to support the weight of the hood. 3 The minimum distance between the container support area on the cooking appliance and the lowest part of the range hood must not be less than 50cm in the case of electric cookers and 65cm in the case of gas or mixed cooker. If the installation instructions for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be taken into account Warning ! Failure to follow the instructions in this Instruction Book may cause electrical hazards. If in doubt, consult an authorized service centre or an authorized technician. Electrical connection The electrical connection of the hood to the electrical system must be performed by qualified and specialized technical staff. The voltage must correspond to the rating indicated on the nameplate located inside the hood. If there is a socket, connect the hood to a wall socket compliant with the standards in force and located in an area accessible after installation as well. If there is no socket (direct connection to the electrical circuit), or if it is not in an area accessible after installation too, apply a standard circuit breaker to ensure the complete disconnection of the hood from the mains under conditions of overvoltage category III, in accordance with installation instructions. Attention! Before reconnecting the hood circuit to the power supply and checking the efficient operation, always check that the power cable is correctly assembled. The hood is equipped with a special power cable; in the event of cable damage, you must order a new one to the Technical Support Service 4 USE Ducting version Fumes are vented to the outside through a exhaust duct attached to the connection flange which is located above the hood. Beware! The exhaust pipe is not supplied and must be purchased separately. The diameter of the exhaust pipe must be equal to that of the connection flange. If the hood is equipped with a charcoal filter, it must be removed. Connect the hood to the tubes and vent holes of the wall of a diameter equivalent to the air outlet (connection collar). ! ! ! ! Use a pipe having strictly the required length. Pipe bends must be of minimum number (maximum bend angle: 90°). Avoid excessive variations in pipe section. Pipe material must be according to norms. Recirculation/Filtering version In the case where the evacuation of fumes and vapours towards the outside is not possible, the hood can be used in recirculation mode. The suctioned air will be degreased and deodorized before being sent back into the room. To use the hood in this version, you must install an additional filtering system based on activated charcoal. 5 Operation The hood is fitted with a control panel with a suction speed control and a cooking hob lighting control. a. Switch ON/OFF lights. b. Switch OFF/speed 1 c. Selection speed 2 d. Selection speed 3 Note : button b. corresponds to speed 1 but it also serves as an on‐off switch. Therefore, it must be pressed if you want to select speed 2 or 3. Energy Saving Tips Turn on the hood to the minimum speed during cooking and let it run for a few minutes after cooking. Increase speed only in the presence of a large amount of fumes or vapour and use accelerated speed(s) only in extreme cases. Replace charcoal filter(s) when necessary in order to maintain an effective odour reduction. Clean grease filter(s) when necessary in order to maintain an effective filtering of grease. Use a piping system having the maximum diameter indicated in this manual in order to optimize performance and minimize noise. 6 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning Beware! Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the hood from the mains by unplugging it or turning off the main switch of the house. The inside and outside of the hood must be cleaned regularly (about once a month). For this, use a cloth moistened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use products containing abrasives. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL! ATTENTION: There is risk of fire if you do not observe the instructions on cleaning the appliance and changing or cleaning the filter. Cleaning of the external surface • To protect the external surface of the hood from corrosion that can occur in the long run, be sure to clean it every two months with warm water and a mild detergent. • The motor and other parts must not come into contact with water. • Charcoal filters should not be exposed to heat. Grease filter Fig. 9-14 The grease filter retains grease particles from cooking. The metal grease filter must be cleaned once a month with non aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher at low temperatures and short cycle. Washing the metal grease filter in the dishwasher may cause its discolouration. However, the filter characteristics shall not be modified in any case. To remove the grease filter, pull the release spring handle. Activated charcoal filter (recirculation/filtering version only) Fig. 13 It retains unpleasant cooking odours. Het bevat belangrijke informatie over montage, gebruik en veiligheid. • Het is belangrijk om dit boekje te bewaren zodat het op elk moment kan worden geraadpleegd; zorg ervoor dat het bij het product blijft in geval van verkoop, verplaatsing of verhuizing. • De fabrikant kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor elk soort ongemak, schade of vuur aan het apparaat en gevolg van het niet opvolgen van de voorschriften in deze handleiding. • Gebruik werkhandschoenen voor alle montage, reinigingsof onderhoudswerkzaamheden. • De afzuigkap kan er anders uitzien dan afgebeeld op de afbeeldingen in deze handleiding, maar de instructies voor gebruik, onderhoud en montage zijn hetzelfde. • Geen elektrische of mechanische veranderingen uitvoeren aan het product of de afvoerkanalen. • Controleer, voordat u het apparaat monteert, of er geen beschadigde componenten zijn. Neem anders contact op met uw dealer en ga niet verder met de montage. Let op: de elementen met het symbool ‘(*)’ zijn optionele accessoires die alleen worden geleverd bij sommige modellen, of onderdelen die niet meegeleverd worden en die moeten worden aangeschaft. • Voordat u reinigings- of onderhoudswerkzaamheden uitvoert, moet u eerst de afzuigkap afkoppelen van het elektriciteitsnet door de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen of de hoofdschakelaar van het huis uit te schakelen. • De afzuigkap moet regelmatig schoongemaakt worden, zowel van binnen als van buiten (MINSTENS EENS PER MAAND); dit dient gedaan te worden volgens de onderhoudsvoorschriften. • Het gebruik van een open vuur is schadelijk voor de filters en kan brand veroorzaken, daarom moet dit absoluut vermeden worden. • Frituren moet zorgvuldig gedaan worden om ervoor te zorgen dat de olie geen vlam vat. • Wanneer de kookplaat in gebruik is, kunnen delen van de afzuigkap die binnen handbereik zijn zeer heet worden. • Sluit het apparaat niet aan op het elektriciteitsnet, totdat de installatie volledig is voltooid. Voor de technische- en veiligheidsmaatregelen voor de afvoer van rook, moeten de bepalingen van plaatselijke voorschriften in acht worden genomen. De lucht mag niet worden afgevoerd in een afvoerkanaal dat gebruikt wordt om rook van apparaten, die werken op gas of een andere brandstof, af te voeren. • De afzuigkap niet achterlaten of gebruiken zonder dat de lampjes juist geplaatst zijn want er bestaat gevaar voor een elektrische schok. Om de lamp te vervangen, moet u alleen het soort lamp gebruiken dat beschreven staat in deze handleiding in het hoofdstuk: vervangen van de lamp / lamp onderhoud. Raak de lampen niet aan na het gebruik van het apparaat, u kunt brandwonden oplopen. • Gebruik de afzuigkap nooit zonder dat het rooster juist gemonteerd is! • De kap mag nooit gebruikt worden om voorwerpen op te plaatsen, tenzij uitdrukkelijk aangegeven. Gebruik de afzuigkap nooit als werkplek. 2 • • • • • Gebruik alleen de schroeven die bij het product geleverd zijn voor de montage, of, indien niet inbegrepen, moet u het juiste type schroeven aanschaffen. Gebruik de juiste lengte voor de schroeven zoals aangegeven in de montagehandleiding. Neem, in geval van twijfel, contact op met uw servicecentrum of met gekwalificeerd personeel. Indien de schroeven en bevestigingsmiddelen niet juist worden gemonteerd in overeensteming met de installatie-instructies kan dit elektrische gevaren tot gevolg hebben. Begin niet met het gebruiken van een programmeur, een timer of een apart afstandsbediening systeem of een ander apparaat dat de stroom automatisch inschakelt. Probeer niet om de filters te onderzoeken terwijl de afzuigkap in werking is. De aanwezigheid van open vuur kan de filters beschadigen en leiden tot brand, dus dit moet absoluut voorkomen worden. 3 BESCHRIJVING De afzuigkap is ontworpen zodat het kan worden gebruikt in de afzuigversie met luchafvoer naar buiten, of filteren met interne luchtcirculatie. VÒÒR DE MONTAGE Alvorens met montage te beginnen: • Verzeker u ervan dat de grootte van de afzuigkap en het afvoerkanaal geschikt zijn voor de afmetingen van uw kookplaat en plafondhoogte. • Verwijder de actieve koolfilter (s) (*) indien aanwezig (zie ook gerelateerde paragraaf). Dit (deze) is (zijn) alleen gemonteerd als u de afzuigkap wilt gebruiken in de luchtcirculatie-functie. • Controleer of er in de afzuigkap (voor transport doeleinden) geen andere materialen zijn die bij de apparatuur worden bijgesloten (bijv schroeven (*), garantiebewijs (*) enz. Verwijder het in dat geval, en bewaard het. • Verzeker u ervan dat het product in perfecte staat is. Als het beschadigd is, niet verder gaan met de montage en contact opnemen met de klantenservice. 4 MONTAGE Buitengewoon zwaar apparaat; het hanteren en de montage van de afzuigkap moet door twee of meer mensen gedaan worden. De afzuigkap is voorzien van pluggen die geschikt zijn voor de meeste soorten muren / plafonds. Het is echter noodzakelijk om contact op te nemen met een vakman om te waarborgen dat het materiaal geschikt is voor het soort muur / plafond. De muur / plafond moet stevig genoeg zijn om het gewicht van de afzuigkap te kunnen dragen. De minimale afstand tussen de kookzone op het kooktoestel en het laagste deel van de afzuigkap mag niet minder zijn dan 50 cm in het geval van elektrische kooktoestellen en 65 cm in het geval van gas of gemengde kooktoestellen. Als de montage-instructies voor het gasfornuis een grotere afstand aangeven, moet hiermee rekening gehouden worden. Waarschuwing! Als de instructies van deze handleiding niet opgevolgd worden kan dat elektrische gevaren veroorzaken. Neem bij twijfel contact op met een erkend servicecentrum of een erkende monteur. Elektrische aansluiting De elektrische aansluiting van de afzuigkap op het elektriciteitsnet moet worden uitgevoerd door gekwalificeerd en gespecialiseerd technisch personeel. De spanning moet overeenstemmen met de maatstaf die is aangegeven op het typeplaatje dat u vindt binnenin de afzuigkap. Als er een stopcontact is, de afzuigkap aansluiten op een stopcontact aan de muur overeenkomstig de geldende normen, en geplaatst op een toegankelijke plek, ook nà de montage. Als er geen stopcontact is (directe verbinding met het elektriciteitsnet), of indien het niet op een plek is die ook toegankelijk is na de installatie, moet een standaard stroomonderbreker gebruikt worden die totale afsluiting van de hoofdleiding garandeerd in geval van overspanning categorie III, overeenkomstig de montage instructies. Let op! Voordat u de afzuigkap aansluit op de voeding en de efficiënte werking ervan controlleert, altijd eerst controlleren dat de stroomkabel correct gemonteerd is. De afzuigkap is voorzien van een speciale stroomkabel; in het geval dat de kabel beschadigd is, moet u een nieuwe bestellen bij de Technische Klantenservice 5 GEBRUIK Luchtafvoer versie De aangezogen lucht wordt naar buiten afgevoerd door een afvoerbuis dat is aangesloten aan de koppelingsflens dat zich bevindt aan de bovenkant van de afzuigkap. Let op! De afvoerslang is niet meegeleverd en moet apart worden aangeschaft. De diameter van de afvoerbuis moet gelijk zijn aan die van de koppelingsflens. Indien de afzuigkap is voorzien van een koolstoffilter moet dat worden verwijderd. Sluit de afzuigkap aan de buizen en ventilatieopeningen van de muur, deze moeten eenzelfde diameter hebben als de luchtuitlaat (koppelingsring). ! ! ! ! Gebruik een buis met exact de vereiste lengte. Er moeten zo min mogelijk bochten in de buisen zijn (maximale bocht hoek: 90 °). Vermijd overmatige variaties in het gedeelte van de buis. Buis materiaal moet volgens de normen zijn Luchtcirculatie/Filter versie In het geval dat de afvoer van lucht en dampen naar buiten niet mogelijk is, kan de afzuigkap gebruikt worden in de luchtcirculatie-modus. De aangezogen lucht wordt ontvet en reukloos gemaakt voordat het in de kamer wordt teruggeleid. Om de kap in deze versie te gebruiken, moet u een extra filter monteren op basis van actieve kool. 6 Werking De afzuigkap is uitgerust met een bedieningspaneel met toetsen voor het afzuigvermogen en een toets voor de kookplaatverlichting. a. b. c. d. Toets AAN/UIT lichten. Toets UIT/snelheid 1 Keuzetoets snelheid 2 Keuzetoets snelheid 3 Opmerking: toets b. is voor snelheid 1 maar het is ook de aan-uit knop. Daarom moet het worden ingedrukt als u snelheid 2 of 3 wilt selecteren. Energiebesparing tips Zet de afzuigkap op de minimale snelheid tijdens het koken en laat het voor een paar minuten aanstaan na het koken. Verhoog de snelheid alleen bij een grote hoeveelheid rook of damp en gebruik de hoge snelheid alleen in extreme gevallen. Vervang koolfilter(s) wanneer dit nodig is om een goede geurreductie te blijven behouden. Reinig vetfilter(s) wanneer dit nodig is zodat de filters het vet goed blijven filteren. Gebruik een buissysteem met de maximale diameter die is aangegeven in deze handleiding om de prestaties te optimaliseren en het geluid te minimaliseren. 7 REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD Reiniging Let op! Voordat u reinigings- of onderhoudswerkzaamheden uitvoert altijd eerst de afzuigkap afkoppelen van het elektriciteitsnet door de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen of de hoofdschakelaar van het huis uit te schakelen. De afzuigkap moet regelmatig schoongemaakt worden, zowel van binnen als van buiten (ongeveer één keer per maand). Gebruik hiervoor een doek met een neutraal, vloeibaar reinigingsmiddel. Gebruik geen producten met schuurmiddel. GEBRUIK GEEN ALCOHOL! WAARSCHUWING: Er is kans op brand als u niet de instructies in acht neemt voor het reinigen van het apparaat en voor de vervanging van de filters of het reinigen van de filters. Reiniging van het buitenste oppervlak • Om het buitenste oppervlak van de afzuigkap te beschermen tegen corrosie, dat op de lange termijn kan voordoen, moet u het elke twee maanden schoonmaken met warm water en een mild schoonmaakmiddel. • De motor en andere onderdelen mogen niet in contact komen met water. • Koolstoffilters mogen niet worden blootgesteld aan hitte. Vetfilter Fig. 9-14 Het neemt vetdeeltjes uit keukendampen op De metalen vetfilter moet eens per maand worden gereinigd met neutrale reinigingsmiddelen (geen agressieve reinigingsmiddelen), met de hand of in de vaatwasmachine, op lage temperatuur en een kort programma. Het reinigen van de vetfilters in de afwasautomaat kan tot verkleuringen leiden. Deze verkleuringen hebben echter geen effect op het gebruik en de werking van de filters. Om het vetfilter te verwijderen, trekt u aan het veer handvat. Actieve koolstoffilter (alleen voor de luchtcirculatie/filter versie) Fig. 13 Het neemt kookluchtjes op. Verzadiging van de actieve kool kan optreden na een vrij lang gebruik afhankelijk van de mate van gebruik en de regelmaat van het schoonmaken van het vetfilter. In elk geval is het noodzakelijk om de filter na maximaal vier maanden te vervangen. HET KAN NIET worden schoongemaakt of worden hergebruikt. Verwijder de vetfilters. Een koolstoffilter apart aanbrengen en aan de afzuigkap hangen. De vetfilters terugplaatsen. Lampjes vervangen De afzuigkap is voorzien van een verlichtingssysteem op basis van LED-technologie. De LED's zorgen voor een optimale verlichting, die tot 10 keer langer duurt dan traditionele gloeilampen en bespaart 90% in elektriciteit. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Verwijder de lampafdekking om bij te lampjes te komen. Waarschuwing! Verzeker u ervan dat de lampjes koud zijn, alvorens ze aan te raken.
