De STREX Draadloze Deurbel is een apparaat dat je met muziek waarschuwt wanneer iemand
je bezoekt. Er zijn geen andere toepassingen voor dit product.
Gebruik de Draadloze Deurbel alleen zoals beschreven in deze handleiding. Elk ander gebruik
wordt als oneigenlijk beschouwd en kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel of materiële schade. STREX
is niet aansprakelijk voor schade of letsel als gevolg van onjuist of onzorgvuldig gebruik.
BEOOGD GEBRUIK
●CE Certicaat: De CE-markering (een acroniem voor het Franse “Conformite Europeenne”) bevestigt dat een product
voldoet aan de EU-eisen op het gebied van gezondheid, veiligheid en milieu, die de veiligheid van de consument
garanderen.
●Conform RoHS: De RoHS-richtlijn 2015/863/EU (van het Engelse Restriction of Hazardous Substances - beperking
van gevaarlijke stoen), is een EU-richtlijn met als doel het gebruik van bepaalde gevaarlijke stoen in elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur te beperken. Iedere lidstaat van de EU moet een eigen wet aannemen om deze richtlijn in te
voeren.
Als een product RoHS-gecerticeerd is, bevestigt dit dat het aandeel gevaarlijke of moeilijk te verwijderen stoen beperkt
is tot het maximaal toegestane.

VERPAKKINGSINHOUD
UITPAKKEN
De volgende componenten zijn bij de levering inbegrepen:
Haal alles uit de verpakking en controleer op beschadigingen. Als dit het geval is, gebruik of installeer de
Draadloze Deurbel dan niet. Wees zeer voorzichtig bij het openen van de verpakking om schade aan het
product te voorkomen.
Vergelijk alle onderdelen met de verpakkingsinhoud. Mis je een onderdeel, of je hebt een beschadigd
onderdeel, neem dan contact met ons op via email: [email protected].
Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal en de montageaccessoires niet achteloos rondslingeren. Het kan gevaarlijk
speelmateriaal worden voor kinderen. Gooi het verpakkingsmateriaal pas weg als de Draadloze Deurbel is
geïnstalleerd en werkt.

Dunne folies kunnen aan de neus en mond blijven plakken en de
ademhaling belemmeren.

WAARSCHUWING: BATTERIJEN.
WAARSCHUWING: KLEINE ONDERDELEN.
De Draadloze Deurbel wordt geleverd met de benodigde 23A 12V batterij.
Wees voorzichtig bij het uitpakken en/of plaatsen van batterijen.
●Houd nieuwe en gebruikte batterijen uit de buurt van kinderen.
●Een ingeslikte batterij kan binnen twee uur interne chemische brandwonden
veroorzaken en tot de dood leiden.
●Als je denkt dat batterijen zijn ingeslikt of in enig deel van het lichaam zijn geplaatst,
dien je onmiddellijk medische hulp in te roepen.
●Gooi gebruikte batterijen onmiddellijk weg.
Bevat kleine onderdelen, niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 3 jaar of
personen die de neiging hebben niet-eetbare voorwerpen in de mond
te stoppen.
Kleine onderdelen kunnen worden ingeslikt of vast komen te zitten in
de luchtpijp en verstikkingsgevaar opleveren. Als algemene richtlijn
geldt dat verstikkingsgevaar alles is met kleine onderdelen met een
diameter van minder dan 31 mm en een lengte van 57 mm.

SNELLE START
Druk op de volumeknop op de ontvanger om het volume niveau in te stellen.
Er zijn 5 volumeniveaus: 0 dB, 25 dB, 45 dB, 85 dB en 115 dB.
Wissel tussen hoog en laag volume met de volumeknop.
Druk op de achteruit- en vooruit-knoppen om je favoriete beltoon te kiezen. De ontvanger speelt de
geselecteerde beltoon af.
Volg de onderstaande koppelingsstappen om de nieuwe beltoon te synchroniseren. De nieuwe beltoon wordt
ingesteld voor de meest recent gesynchroniseerde zender.
Om de beltoon in te stellen op de 2e zender is het dus van belang dat deze opnieuw gekoppeld wordt. Tijdens
dit proces kun je een nieuwe beltoon instellen.

Koppelingsstappen
Selecteer de beltoon. Activeer de zender.Houd de volumeknop
5 seconden ingedrukt.
STAP 1:
Selecteer je favoriete beltoon
voordat je begint met koppelen.
STAP 3:
Activeer de zender door op
de drukknop te drukken. Dit
stuurt een signaal naar de
ontvanger. De nieuwe beltoon is
nu geactiveerd.
STAP 2:
Houd de volumeknop 5
seconden ingedrukt totdat
je een “Ding-dong” hoort en
de LED-indicator begint te
knipperen. Je bevindt zich nu in
de koppelmodus.
BELANGRIJKE OPMERKINGEN:
●De koppelingsmodus wordt automatisch beëindigd nadat de koppeling is voltooid.
●De koppelmodus duurt slechts 5 seconden.
●De zender die bij deze kit wordt geleverd, is al gekoppeld aan de ontvangers en
ingesteld op de standaardbeltoon “Dingdong”. Als dit niet het geval is, raadpleeg dan
het hoofdstuk “SNELLE START” om de zender aan de ontvangers te koppelen en je
favoriete beltoon in te stellen.

Twee of Meer Zenders Koppelen
Resetten
De Ontvangers
Het koppelen gebeurt per zender. Wil je meer zenders koppelen? Volg dan stap 1 t/m 3 opnieuw. Zo
koppel je de zenders één voor één aan de ontvanger. Je kunt tot 50 ontvangers/zenders koppelen.
Druk 5 seconden op de vooruit-knop om de ontvangers terug te zetten naar de standaardinstelling. Als
de ontvanger “Ding Dong” laat horen terwijl de LED-indicator knippert, is de reset geslaagd. De
instelling is terug naar default: de ontvanger komt terug naar de eerste melodie en er is geen zender
meer gekoppeld.
Steek simpelweg een ontvanger in een standaard stopcontact. De ontvanger werkt direct. Werkt de
ontvanger niet? Koppel deze dan opnieuw middels de stappen beschreven op pagina 13.
ONTVANGER EN ZENDER INSTALLATIE
BELANGRIJK:
●Test eerst het deurbelbereik voordat je de zender installeert.
●Het is niet aan te raden om de zender op metalen oppervlakken te monteren, omdat
het materiaal RF-signalen tussen de zender en de ontvanger kan blokkeren. Als dit
echter de enige optie is, raden we je aan de meegeleverde 3M dubbelzijdige plakband
te gebruiken in plaats van de meegeleverde schroeven.
●Het is niet aan te raden om de zender direct buiten te monteren zonder enige
beschutting. Dit zou de veroudering van plastic materialen kunnen versnellen.

De Zender
Deze installatiemethode heeft de voorkeur.
Installatiemethode 1: Dubbelzijdig plakband
Installatiemethode 2: Schroef & Pluggen
Dit is de optionele methode.
Na het controleren van de juiste montagepositie en het testen van het deurbelbereik, reinig je het gebied waar
je de zender wilt installeren. Het gebied moet vlak zijn.
Scheur een kant van het 3M dubbelzijdige plakband af en plak het op de achterkant van de zender. Scheur de
andere kant van de tape af en hang de zender aan de muur. Druk gedurende 10 seconden op de achterkant van
de zender.
Het installeren van de zender met schroeven is heel eenvoudig. Als je de juiste tools hebt, zou het moeten
werken. Lees de instructies aandachtig voor montage.

Stap 1: Bepaal de juiste montagepositieDe zender
Stap 2: Boor de gaten
Het meten + markeren van de boorpositie is veruit de belangrijkste stap. Zorg ervoor dat de gaten die je in de muur gaat maken
heel precies worden opgemeten.
●Gebruik de kleine schroevendraaier om voorzichtig de achterkant van de zender te openen. Steek de schroevendraaier in
het gat tussen het deksel en de basis van de zender. Duw de schroevendraaier er in en kantel ondertussen naar beneden
om het deksel te openen.
●Gebruik de basis van de zender als sjabloon om de positie van de boorgaten met een potlood te markeren.
●Gebruik een klopboormachine en een boor om het gat te boren. Gebruik een steenboor voor een stenen muur en een
betonboor voor een betonnen muur.
●De diameter van de boor moet dezelfde diameter hebben als de diameter van de plug.
●De boordiepte moet gelijk zijn aan de lengte van de plug + maximaal 5mm. Boor geen diepere gaten.
●Gebruik een veiligheidsbril bij het boren van de gaten.
●Houd de boor recht voor de muur en ondersteun de boor met je andere hand. Boor altijd in een rechte hoek en verander
nooit van richting tijdens het boren.
VOLG DE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES ZORGVULDIG.
Deze vindt je in het hoofdstuk “VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES – Veilig boren”.

Stap 3: Installeren van de zenderbasis
Stap 4: Opruimen
●Steek in elk geboord gat een plug. Plaats de basis over de gaten in de muur. Gebruik een kruiskopschroevendraaier om
een schroef in elke plug te schroeven.
●Draai de schroeven niet te vast aan.
●Duw de behuizing van de zender op de zenderbasis.
●Verwijder het stof van het boren met je stofzuiger.

BATTERIJ VERVANGEN
Eerste gebruik: verwijder het plastic lipje.
Dit plastic lipje voorkomt dat de batterij leegloopt en
moet voor gebruik worden verwijderd.
STAP 1:
Gebruik de kleine schroevendraaier om voorzichtig
de achterkant van de zender te openen. Steek de
schroevendraaier in het gat tussen het deksel en de
basis van de zender. Duw de schroevendraaier er in
en kantel ondertussen naar beneden om het deksel te
openen.
STAP 3:
Installeer de batterij in het batterijcompartiment aan
de achterkant van de printplaat. De benodigde batterij
is: 23A 12V
STAP 2:
Draai de 2 kleine schroeven los.
Verwijder voorzichtig de printplaat.
STAP 4:
Plaats de printplaat terug in het deksel en zet deze vast met
beide kleine schroeven. Sluit de achterklep.

PROBLEEM OPLOSSING
DE ONTVANGER MAAKT GEEN GELUID
HET WERKBEREIK VERMINDERD
WAARSCHUWINGEN:
●Sluit altijd de behuizing en draai de schroeven volledig vast voordat je de Draadloze
Deurbel gebruikt.
●Volg de veiligheidsinstructies vermeld in hoofdstuk “VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES –
Batterijveiligheid”.
●Controleer de zenderbatterij. Vervang de batterij indien nodig.
●Controleer of de stekker van de ontvanger goed in het stopcontact zit.
●Controleer of de ontvanger zich niet buiten het bereik van de zender bevindt.
●Controleer of de ontvanger is gekoppeld met de zender. Koppel deze voor de zekerheid opnieuw.
●Controleer of de volumeregeling niet op de minimumstand staat.
●Metalen constructies, inclusief deurkozijnen, kunnen het bereik van het product verkleinen.
●Monteer de zender of ontvangers niet op of in de buurt van metalen constructies.
●Andere apparatuur kan radiostoring veroorzaken die je zender beïnvloedt.
●Muren en plafonds verkleinen het bereik.
●Een zwakke batterij vermindert het werkbereik. Vervang de batterij elke 12 - 18 maanden.

veiligheidsinstructies en informatie over het juiste gebruik in deze handleiding niet opvolgt,
aanvaarden wij geen aansprakelijkheid voor eventueel daaruit voortvloeiend persoonlijk
letsel of schade aan eigendommen. In dergelijke gevallen vervalt de garantie.Neem ook
de waarschuwingen of veiligheidsvoorschriften in de afzonderlijke hoofdstukken van deze
handleiding in acht.
Elektrische apparaten en batterijen kunnen mensen, vooral kinderen, blootstellen
aan gevaren die zowel ernstig letsel als de dood tot gevolg kan hebben. Het gebruik
van elektrische apparaten en batterijen kan gevaren opleveren, waaronder, maar niet
uitsluitend, letsel, brand, elektrische schokken en schade aan het elektrische systeem. Deze
veiligheidsinstructies zijn bedoeld om je de informatie te geven die je nodig hebt om de
STREX Draadloze Deurbel te gebruiken en om dergelijke gevaren te voorkomen. Gezond
verstand en respect voor het apparaat helpen het risico op letsel te verminderen.

JOUW VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN:

●Gebruik de Draadloze Deurbel niet voor een ander doel dan waarvoor het bedoeld is (zie het hoofdstuk “BEOOGD
GEBRUIK”).
●De ontvangers zijn bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis (de apparaten zijn niet waterdicht).
●De zender is zowel binnen als buiten te gebruiken (het apparaat is waterdicht). Het wordt aanbevolen om de zender bij
gebruik buitenshuis gedurende langere tijd niet in direct zonlicht te plaatsen.
●Ga voorzichtig met de apparaten om. Schokken, stoten of een val, zelfs van geringe hoogte, kunnen de apparaten
beschadigen.
●Plaats de apparaten niet onder mechanische belasting.
●De zender moet goed en stevig worden gemonteerd. Volg de instructies om eventuele schade te voorkomen.
●Steek geen voorwerpen in welke opening ook.
●Oefen geen overmatige kracht uit bij het gebruik van de knop of schakelaars op de apparaten.
●Laat de ontvangers niet onbeheerd achter. Bij gebruik in de buurt van kleine kinderen is nauw toezicht noodzakelijk.
●Als het niet meer mogelijk is om een apparaat veilig te gebruiken, stel het apparaat dan buiten gebruik en bescherm het
tegen onbedoeld gebruik. Een veilige werking kan niet langer worden gegarandeerd als het apparaat:
– zichtbaar beschadigd is,
– niet meer naar behoren werkt,
– gedurende langere perioden in slechte omgevingsomstandigheden is opgeslagen of
– s blootgesteld aan ernstig transport gerelateerde belastingen.
●De Draadloze Deurbel is geen speelgoed. Houd en bewaar het apparaat buiten bereik van kleine kinderen.
●De Draadloze Deurbel kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder en personen met verminderde fysieke,
zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis als ze onder toezicht staan of instructies hebben
gekregen over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat en ze de daaruit voortvloeiende gevaren begrijpen.

●Je mag de Draadloze Deurbel niet reconstrueren, zelf repareren of demonteren. Dit kan de zender en/of de ontvangers
beschadigen.
●Onderhoud, modicaties en reparaties mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door een deskundige of een gekwaliceerde
winkel.
●Controleer de apparaten af en toe op beschadigingen. Gebruik een apparaat nooit als het tekenen van beschadiging
vertoont.
●Zorg ervoor dat je stopcontact de juiste voedingsspanning levert om schade aan de ontvangers te voorkomen.
●Het stopcontact voor de ontvangers moet gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn.
●Haal de ontvangers uit het stopcontact als je de apparaten langere tijd niet gebruikt en voordat je ze schoonmaakt.
●Forceer de stekker van de ontvangers nooit in een stopcontact; als het niet gemakkelijk in het stopcontact past, gebruik
het dan niet meer. Zorg er altijd voor dat de stekker van de ontvanger goed in het stopcontact zit.
●Als de stroom uitvalt tijdens het gebruik, trek dan de ontvanger onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact.
●Als er rook, vuur of een vreemde geur uit je ontvanger komt, moet je de hoofdschakelaar van de stroomonderbreker of
zekeringkast uitschakelen en de ontvanger uit het stopcontact halen.
●Trek om veiligheidsredenen altijd de ontvangers uit het stopcontact bij onweer.
●Dek een ontvanger niet af terwijl deze in werking is, omdat deze oververhit kan raken. Dit vormt een risico op brand,
elektrische schokken of letsel.
●Houd de apparaten uit de buurt van warmtebronnen en in of nabij gebieden waar de omgevingstemperatuur relatief
hoog is (bijv. fornuizen of andere warmtebronnen). Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van open vuurbronnen (zoals
brandende kaarsen) of op hete oppervlakken.
●De apparaten zijn ontworpen om het beste te werken bij normale omgevingstemperaturen tussen 0° en 35°C en te
worden bewaard bij temperaturen tussen 0° en 45°C. De apparaten kunnen beschadigd raken en de levensduur van de
batterij van de zender kan verkorten als de apparaten buiten deze temperatuur bereiken wordt bewaard of gebruikt. Stel
je apparaten niet bloot aan dramatische veranderingen in temperatuur. Bewaar je apparaten niet gedurende langere tijd
in direct zonlicht.

Water
Batterij Veiligheid
De ontvangers zijn niet waterdicht.
WAARSCHUWING:
●Gebruik de ontvangers nooit met vochtige of natte handen. Vocht kan leiden tot elektrische schokken of kortsluitingen.
●Gebruik de ontvangers niet in of nabij een bad, douche, zwembad of een met water gevulde container, zoals bijv. een
wasbak.
●Gebruik de ontvangers niet in natte omgevingen en dompel ze niet onder in vloeistof. Giet nooit vloeistoen over of in de
buurt van de ontvangers. Er bestaat gevaar voor een elektrische schok! Raak een ontvanger niet aan als er toch vloeistof in
de behuizing komt, maar zet eerst de stroomonderbreker of de hoofdschakelaar van de zekeringkast uit.
●Plaats de zender niet in de buurt van vuur of in direct zonlicht. De opwarming van het apparaat kan extra verwarming,
breuk of ontsteking van de batterij veroorzaken.
●Probeer de batterij niet op te laden. Deze batterij is daarvoor niet geschikt.
●Probeer de batterij niet aan te passen of uit elkaar te halen.
●Gebruik je zender niet als een batterij geur begint af te geven, oververhit raakt of begint te lekken.
●Raak geen lekkende materialen aan en adem de dampen van de batterij niet in. Lekkende of beschadigde batterijen
kunnen bij contact met de huid bijtend letsel veroorzaken, draag daarom in dat geval geschikte veiligheidshandschoenen.
●Een batterij bevat gevaarlijke stoen. Open de batterij niet en plaats niets in een blootliggende batterij.
●Sta niet toe dat kinderen en dieren een blootgestelde batterij aanraken.
●Gooi de batterij nooit in het vuur.
●Niet kortsluiten. Bij kortsluiting kan een batterij exploderen of lekken.
●Een lege batterij kan nog steeds gevaarlijk zijn.
●Slik een batterij niet in. Roep onmiddellijk medische hulp in als een batterij wordt ingeslikt.
●Reinig de batterijcontacten en ook die van het apparaat voordat je de batterij installeert.
●Zorg ervoor dat de batterij correct is geplaatst met betrekking tot polariteit (+ en -).
●Onderzoek je apparaat en zorg ervoor dat het batterijvak goed is vastgemaakt.
●Vervang de batterij alleen door batterijen van hetzelfde formaat en hetzelfde type.
●Gebruik de batterij binnen de aanbevolen gebruiksperiode.
●Houd de batterijen uit de buurt van kinderen, baby’s of dieren.

REINIGING
Het boren van een gaatje lijkt onschuldig, maar toch kan dit best gevaarlijk zijn. Er gebeuren namelijk regelmatig
ongelukken wanneer er gebruik wordt gemaakt van een boormachine. Het kan namelijk zo zijn dat wanneer je
een gat aan het boren bent in de muur, je onverwachts uitschiet. Een ander probleem kan zijn dat je gewoon
niet goed hebt opgelet of dat je wordt afgeleid. Het is daarom belangrijk dat wanneer je gaat boren je altijd
goed blijft opletten en je bezighoudt met je klus.
Om te zorgen dat je veilig aan de slag kunt, volgen hieronder een aantal belangrijke veiligheidstips. Volg
deze tips op en verklein het risico op verwondingen tijdens het boren.
●Wanneer je gaat beginnen met boren is het belangrijk dat je van tevoren goed controleert of er geen elektriciteitskabels of
andere dingen in de muur zitten.
●Bij het boren van een gat is het belangrijk dat je gebruik maakt van veiligheidskleding. Denk hierbij aan een veiligheidsbril,
gehoorbescherming en werkhandschoenen. Op deze manier ga je in ieder geval veilig te werk.
●Zorg dat lang haar in een speld of elastiekje zit en niet in de boor terecht kan komen.
●Indien er een vergrendelingsmogelijkheid op de AAN/UIT-knop van de boormachine zit, gebruik deze dan niet. Als er in de
vergrendelde stand bij het boren iets misgaat dan draait de boor namelijk gewoon door.
●Controleer van tevoren of de boormachine nog in goede staat is. Zorg dat de boor schoon is en het juiste type voor je klus.
Tevens is het van belang om te controleren of de boor goed vastzit in de boormachine.
●Wanneer je alles klaar hebt staan en gaat beginnen is het belangrijk dat je een stabiele houding neemt en dat je de
boormachine altijd met twee handen vasthoudt. Op deze manier zorg je ervoor dat je ongelukken voorkomt. Sta ook altijd
recht voor het te boren gat.
●Haal de stekker altijd uit het stopcontact als je de boor monteert, verwisseld of verwijderd. Doe dit ook als je het geschikte
toerental voor de boormachine instelt.
●Zet de boormachine altijd op de veilige stand wanneer je hem niet gebruikt. Een ongeluk zit in een klein hoekje.
●Haal de ontvangers altijd uit het stopcontact voordat je ze schoonmaakt.
●Een licht vochtige of droge doek wordt aanbevolen voor het reinigen van de buitenkant van de apparaten. Droog af met
een zachte doek.

ONDERHOUD & SERVICE
●Pas op dat je tijdens het schoonmaken niet te veel druk uitoefent op de schakelaars van de ontvangers of de knop van de
zender.
●Dompel de apparaten niet onder in water of andere vloeistoen. Het is niet toegestaan om de ontvangers met water af te
spoelen, om te voorkomen dat het water in het elektrische circuit lekt en storingen veroorzaakt.
●Gebruik in geen geval agressieve reinigingsmiddelen, reinigingsalcohol of andere chemische oplossingen, omdat deze de
behuizing kunnen binnendringen of de functionaliteit kunnen aantasten.
●Gebruik voor het schoonmaken geen staalborstel, staalwol of andere schurende voorwerpen.
●Reiniging mag niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij onder toezicht.
●De Draadloze Deurbel heeft geen onderhoud nodig.
●Je mag de apparaten niet reconstrueren, zelf repareren of demonteren.
●Controleer regelmatig op beschadigingen en sterke slijtage.
●Controleer regelmatig de bevestiging van de zender.
● Probeer de apparaten niet te openen voor onderhoud. Het verwijderen van
de behuizing of een onjuiste hermontage kan elektrische schokken, schade,
kortsluitingen of brand veroorzaken.
●Als je om welke reden dan ook de behuizing opent, vervalt de garantie. De apparaten
bevatten geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden gerepareerd. Alleen
de batterij van de zender kan worden vervangen.
●Om onderhoud of service te verkrijgen, neem dan eerst contact met ons op via ons
mailadres [email protected]. Reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door een
deskundige of in een gekwaliceerde winkel.

Verwijdering van het Product
●We raden aan om de apparaten schoon te maken voordat je ze voor lange tijd opbergt.
●Bewaar de apparaten op een stofvrije plaats die niet wordt blootgesteld aan zonlicht en vochtigheid.
●Bewaar de apparaten niet bij extreem hoge of extreem lage temperaturen. Dit kan de apparaten beschadigen.

●Verwijder de batterij uit de zender voor langdurige opslag.
●Na transport of opslag bij zeer koude temperaturen, moet de ontvangers gedurende ca. 30 minuten aan
kamertemperatuur wennen in verband met mogelijke condensatie. Daarna kunnen de apparaten gebruikt worden.
AFVALVERWERKING & RECYCLING
Dit product voldoet aan de richtlijn voor afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur
2012/19/EU (WEEE).
Het symbool met de doorstreepte vuilnisbak op het apparaat geeft aan dat het product op het
einde van zijn levenscyclus afzonderlijk van het gewoon huishoudelijk afval moet worden afgedankt
en hiervoor naar een centrum voor gescheiden afvalophaling voor de recyclage van elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur moet worden gebracht

Verwijdering van de Batterij
Verwijdering van het Verpakkingsmateriaal
De zender bevat een batterij die niet met het huishoudelijk afval mag weggegooid
worden. De batterij moet worden gerecycled volgens de plaatselijke voorschriften.
Verwijder de batterij uit de zender voordat je deze weggooit.
Je bent als eindverbruiker volgens de KCA-voorschriften (Klein chemisch afval) wettelijk verplicht alle
lege batterijen in te leveren.
Zorg ervoor dat plastic zakken, verpakkingen enz. op een juiste milieuvriendelijke manier worden
weggegooid. Deponeer deze materialen niet zomaar bij het normale huisvuil, maar zorg ervoor dat ze
worden ingezameld voor hergebruik.
Volg de aanwijzingen en markeringen op de verpakking.

STREX garandeert dat dit product gedurende één jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum vrij zal zijn van materiaal- en fabricagefouten.
STREX zal, naar eigen goeddunken, dit product of enig onderdeel van het product dat defect blijkt te zijn tijdens de
garantieperiode vervangen of repareren. Vervanging vindt plaats door een nieuw of gereviseerd product of onderdeel. Als het
product niet langer beschikbaar is, kan een vervanging worden gemaakt door een vergelijkbaar product van gelijke of hogere
waarde. Dit is jouw exclusieve garantie. Je vervangende apparaat wordt kosteloos aan je geretourneerd en valt gedurende de
rest van de garantieperiode onder deze garantie.
De verzendingskosten zijn niet inbegrepen in de garantie, de koper is verantwoordelijk voor de verzendingskosten en de kosten

QUICK START
Press the volume control button on the receiver.
There are 5 volume levels: 0dB, 25dB, 45dB, 85dB and 115dB.
Toggle between high and low volume with the volume control button.
Press the backward and forward buttons to choose your favorite ringtone. The receiver is playing the
selected ringtone.
Follow the pairing steps below to sync the new ringtone. The new ringtone will be set for the most
recently synced transmitter.

Two or More Transmitters Pairing
Reset
The Receivers
Pairing is done per transmitter. Do you want to link more transmitters? Then follow steps 1 to 3 again.
This way you can pair the transmitters to the receiver one by one.
Press the forward button for 5 seconds to reset the receivers to the default setting. When the receiver
sounds “Ding Dong” with the LED indicator ashing, then the reset was successful. The setting is back
to default: the receiver comes back to the 1st melody and there is no transmitter paired anymore.
Just plug a receiver into a standard mains socket in the room, and then it will work. If the receiver does
not respond, pair it again using the steps described on page 39.
RECEIVER AND TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT:
●Test the doorbell range rst before the installation of the transmitter.
●It is not advisable to mount the transmitter onto metal surfaces as the material can
block RF signals between the transmitter and the receiver. However, if this is the
only option then we recommend that you use the 3M double-sided adhesive tape
provided as opposed to using the provided screws.
●It is not advisable to mount the transmitter outdoors directly without any shelter
which could accelerate the aging of plastic materials.

After ensuring the right mounting position and testing the doorbell range, clean the area where you intend to
install the transmitter. The area has to be at.
Tear o one side of the 3M double-sided adhesive tape and stick it to the backside of the transmitter.
Tear o the other side of the tape and put the transmitter onto the wall. Press for 10 seconds.
Installing the transmitter with screws is very easy. If you have the right tools, it should work. Read the
instructions carefully before mounting.

Step 1: Determine the correct mounting position
Step 2: Drill the holes
Measuring + marking the drill position is by far the most important steps. Make sure that the holes you are going to make in the
wall are measured very precisely.
●Use the small screwdriver to open carefully the backside of the transmitter. Insert the screwdriver into the hole between
the cover and the base of the transmitter. Squeeze the screwdriver in, meanwhile tilt downwards to open the cover.
●Use the base of the transmitter as a template to mark the position of the drill holes with a pencil.
●Use an impact drill and a drill bit to drill the hole. Use a masonry drill for a stone wall, and a concrete drill for a concrete
wall.
●The diameter of the drill bit must have the same diameter as the diameter of the plug.
●The drilling depth must be equal to the length of the plug + a maximum of 5mm. Do not drill any deeper holes.
●Use safety glasses when drilling the holes.
●Hold the drill directly in front of the wall and support the drill with your other hand. Always drill at right angles and never
change direction while drilling.

STEP 1:
Use the small screwdriver to open carefully the
backside of the transmitter. Insert the screwdriver
into the hole between the cover and the base of the
transmitter. Squeeze the screwdriver in, meanwhile tilt
downwards to open the cover.
STEP 3:
Install the battery in the battery compartment
located at the back of the printed circuit board. Check
specications for the correct battery.
STEP 2:
Unscrew the 2 small screws.
Remove carefully the printed circuit board.
STEP 4:
Place the printed circuit board back in the cover and x it with
both small screws.
Close the back cover.

TROUBLESHOOTING
THE RECEIVER DOESN’T SOUND
THE OPERATING RANGE IS REDUCED
WARNINGS:
●Always close the case and tighten the screws completely before using the Wireless
Doorbell.
●Follow the safety instructions mentioned in chapter “SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – Battery
safety”.”.
●Check the transmitter battery. Replace the battery if necessary.
●Check if the plug of the receiver is properly connected to the mains socket.
●Check if the receiver is not out of range of the transmitter.
●Check if the receiver is paired with the transmitter. To be sure, repeat the proces.
●Check if the volume control is not at the minimum setting.
●Metal structures, including doorframes, can reduce the range of the product. Avoid mounting the transmitter or receivers
on or near metal structures.
●Other equipment can cause radio interference that aects your transmitter.
●Walls and ceilings will reduce the range.
●A weak battery will reduce the operating range. Replace the battery every 12 - 18 months.

that can cause serious injury or death. The use of electrical appliances and batteries can
present hazards including, but not limited to, injury, re, electric shock, and damage to the

need to use the STREX Wireless Doorbell and avoid such hazards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

●Do not use the Wireless Doorbell for any other purpose other than its intended use (see the chapter “INTENDED USE”).
●The Wireless Doorbell receivers are meant for indoor use (the devices are not waterproof).
●The Wireless Doorbell transmitter can be used both indoors and outdoors (the device is waterproof). It is recommended to
keep the transmitter out of direct sunlight for extended periods when used outdoors.
●Handle the devices carefully. Jolts, impacts, or a fall even from a low height can damage the devices.
●Do not place the devices under mechanical stress.
●The transmitter needs to be properly and securely mounted. Follow the instructions to prevent any possible damage.
●Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
●Do not apply excessive force when using the button or switches on the devices.
●Do not leave the receivers unattended. Close supervision is necessary when used near small children.
●If it is no longer possible to operate a device safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any accidental use. A safe
operation can no longer be guaranteed if the device:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
●The Wireless Doorbell is not a toy. Keep and store the transmitter and the receivers out of the reach of small children.
●The Wireless Doorbell can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the device safely and they understand the resulting hazards.

●You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the Wireless Doorbell. This can damage the transmitter and/or the
receivers.
●Maintenance, modications, and repairs may only be carried out by an expert or a qualied shop.
●Check the devices from time to time for damage. Never use a device if it shows signs of damage.
●Make sure your mains socket supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the receivers.
●The mains socket for the receivers must be easily accessible.
●Unplug the receivers from the mains socket if you do not use the devices for an extended period, and before cleaning.
●Never force the mains plug of the receivers into a mains socket; if it does not t easily into the mains socket, please stop
using it. Always make sure that the mains plug of the receiver is properly connected to the mains socket.
●If the power fails during the operation, pull the receiver immediately from the mains socket.
●If there’s a smoke, re, or a strange odor coming from your receiver, you should turn o the circuit breaker or fuse box’s
main switch and remove the receiver from the mains socket.
● For safety reasons, always unplug the receivers in case of a thunderstorm.
●Do not cover a receiver while it is in operation as this may cause the it to overheat. This poses a risk of re, electric shock,
or injury.
●Keep the devices away from heat and in or close to areas where the surrounding temperature is relatively hot (e.g. stoves
or other sources of heat). Never use the devices near naked ames.
●The devices are designed to work best in normal ambient temperatures between 0° and 35°C and to be stored at
temperatures between -20° and 50°C. The devices may be damaged and the battery life of the transmitter may be
shortened if the devices are stored or used outside this temperature range. Do not subject your devices to dramatic
changes in temperature. Do not store your devices in direct sunlight for extended periods.
●Do not use the devices in a tropical climate.

Water
Battery Safety
The receivers are not waterproof.
WARNING:
●Never use the receivers with damp or wet hands. Moisture can cause electric shock or short circuits.
●Do not use the receivers near a bath, shower, swimming pool, or any container lled with water, such as a sink.
●Do not use the receivers in wet environments and do not immerse in liquid. Never pour liquids over or near the receivers.
There is a risk of electric shock! Do not touch a receiver if a liquid does get into the housing, but rst turn o the circuit
breaker or fuse box’s main switch.
●Do not place the transmitter near a re, or in direct sunlight. The heating of the device can cause additional heating,
breaking, or ignition of the battery.
●Do not attempt to charge the battery. This battery is not suitable for this.
●Do not attempt to modify or disassemble your battery.
●Do not use your transmitter if the battery begins to emit odor, overheats, or begins to leak.
●Do not touch any leaking materials or breathe fumes emitted from the battery. A leaking or damaged battery can lead to
caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
●The battery contains dangerous substances, do not open the battery or insert anything into the exposed battery.
●Do not allow children and animals to touch an exposed battery.
●Never throw the battery into a re.
●Do not short circuit the battery. The battery can explode or leak if shorted.
●A at battery can still be dangerous.
●Do not swallow the battery. Immediately seek medical advice if the battery is swallowed.
●Clean the battery contacts and also those of the transmitter before battery installation.
●Ensure the battery is installed correctly concerning polarity (+ and -).
●Examine the transmitter and make sure the battery compartment is correctly closed and secured.
●Only replace the battery with the same size and the same type of battery.
●Use the battery within the recommended usage period.
●Keep the battery away from children, babies, or animals.

Safe Drilling
CLEANING
Drilling a hole seems harmless, but it can be quite dangerous. Accidents regularly happen when a drill is used.
It is possible that when you are drilling a hole in the wall, you unexpectedly slip. Another problem could be that
you just haven’t been paying attention or that you’re being distracted. It is therefore important that when you
start drilling you always pay attention, and that you are busy with your job.
To make sure you can get started safely, here are some important safety tips. Follow these tips and
reduce the risk of injury while drilling.
●When you start drilling, you must check beforehand that there are no electrical cables or other things in the wall.
●When drilling a hole, you must use safety clothing. Think of safety glasses, hearing protection, and work gloves. In this way,
you will in any case work safely.
●Make sure that long hair is in a pin or elastic band and cannot get caught in the drill.
●If there is a locking feature on the ON/OFF button of the drill, do not use it. If something goes wrong when drilling in the
locked position, the drill will continue to rotate.
●Check beforehand whether the drill is still in good condition. Make sure the drill is clean and the right type for your job. It
is also important to check whether the drill is properly secured in the drill.
●When you have everything ready and are ready to start, it is important that you take a stable position and that you always
hold the drill with both hands. In this way, you ensure that you avoid accidents.
●Always stand straight in front of the hole to be drilled.
●Always remove the plug from the socket when assembling, changing, or removing the drill. Also, do this when you set the
appropriate speed for the drill.
●Always put the drill in a safe position when not in use to avoid accidents.
●Unplug the receivers always from the mains socket before cleaning.
●A slightly moist or dry cloth is recommended for cleaning the exterior of the devices. Dry with a soft
●cloth.

MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
●Be careful not to put too much pressure on the switches of the receivers or the button of the transmitter while cleaning.
●Do not immerse the devices in water or any other liquids. It is not allowed to rinse the receivers with water, to prevent the
water from leaking into the electrical circuit and causing malfunctions.
●Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol, or other chemical solutions since these can
penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
●Do not use a wire brush, steel wool, or other abrasive objects for cleaning.
●Cleaning must not be performed by children unless supervised.
●The Wireless Doorbell does not require any maintenance.
●You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the devices.
●Check regularly for damage and severe wear.
●Check the xation of the transmitter regularly.
●Do not attempt to open the devices for maintenance. Removing the housing or
improper reassembly may cause electric shocks, damage, short circuit, or re.
●If for any reason you open the housing, the warranty will become null and void. The
devices contain no user-serviceable parts. Only the battery of the transmitter can be
replaced.
●To obtain maintenance or service, please contact us rst at our email address info@
strex.nl. Repairs should only be carried out by an expert or a qualied shop.

STORAGE & TRANSPORT
Device Disposal
●We advise cleaning the devices before long-time storage.
●Store the devices in a place not exposed to sunlight & humidity, which is dust-free.
●Do not store the devices in extremely high or extremely low temperatures. This can damage the devices.
●Store the devices beyond the reach of small children.
●Remove the battery from the transmitter before long-time storage.
●After transport or storage at cold temperatures, the receivers must be accustomed to room temperature for approx. 30
minutes due to possible condensation. After that, the devices can be used.
DISPOSAL & RECYCLING
This product complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EU
(WEEE).
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the appliance indicates that, at the end of its life, the product
must be disposed of separately from normal household waste and taken to a separate collection
center for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment or returned to the seller at the time a
new similar device is purchased.
The user is responsible for taking the device to a waste collection service at the end of its service
life. Correct separate collection of waste with a view to subsequent recycling, processing, and
environmentally friendly disposal of the device helps to prevent possible negative impacts on
the environment and health and promotes the recycling of the materials of which the product is
composed. The unlawful disposal of the product by the user results in administrative sanctions laid
down by law. For more detailed information on the recycling of this product and the collection systems
available, please contact your local waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the
product.

Battery Disposal
Packing Material Disposal
The transmitter contains a battery that cannot be disposed of with normal household waste. The
battery should be recycled following your local regulations.
Remove the battery from the transmitter before disposal.
As an end consumer, you are legally obliged to hand in all empty batteries following KCA regulations
(small chemical waste)
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these
materials with your normal household waste, but make sure they are collected for recycling.
Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.

WARRANTY & LIABILITY
STREX guarantees that for one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in materials and
workmanship. STREX, at its discretion, will replace or repair this product or any component of the product found to be defective
during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished product or component. If the product is no
longer available, a replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.
Your replacement unit will be returned to you for no charge and will be covered under this warranty for the balance of the
warranty period.
Shipping charges are not included in the warranty; the buyer is responsible for shipping charges and after-sales service charges.
Please pack the package carefully if you want to return the product or require service, the buyer is responsible for any damage
or loss in transit.
This warranty is valid for the original purchaser from the date of initial purchase and is not transferrable. Proof of purchase is
required to obtain support under the warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
●negligent use or misuse of the product;
●use with incorrect voltage or current;
●use contrary to the operating instructions;
●disassembly, repair, or modication by anyone other than STREX;
●damage caused by accidents or disasters, such as re, ood, earthquake, war, vandalism, or theft;
●accessories such as batteries;
●normal wear and tear.
Damage caused by failure to observe this manual will void the warranty! We do not accept any liability for consequential
damage! We accept no liability for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety
instructions! In such cases, the warranty becomes void!
