Your scale has been designed to eliminate the damaging effects of ESD. In some extreme cases, ESD will be apparent on your scale by a lack of response or an inability to turn off the unit. In the rare case that this occurs, simply disconnect the battery, wait 1 minute and reconnect the battery. The scale will “reboot” itself and operate normally once the unit is turned on. KEY FUNCTIONS ON/OFF: Turns unit ON or OFF UNIT/SHIFT: UNIT - Select readout in lb, oz or kg SHIFT - Move from one digit to the next, to edit display / To set up tank capacity To Increase Value To Decrease Value CHARGE/PAUSE: CHARGE - To start CHARGE/RECOVERY mode PAUSE - To pause and resume in CHARGE/RECOVERY mode TARE/ENTER: TARE - zeros out display in BASIC CHARGING ENTER - to start operation or input data REPEAT: REPEAT - to repeat the last action CLEAR: Use to clear the display during PROGRAM CHARGING ONLY! (DO NOT use CLEAR for any other function!) CHECKLIST (Prior to 1st Use) Your unit includes a 9V battery. Install battery. Place the platform on a flat surface and press ON/OFF button to turn unit on. The scale will begin counting down from 999999 to 000000! (DO NOT PRESS CLEAR while the unit is counting down). Proceed to BASIC or PROGRAM CHARGING. *If the digital readout displays a small weight (±.5 Ounce or ±20 Grams ) press and hold the TARE/ENTER button for approximately 30 seconds until you hear a DOUBLE BEEP. The scale will automatically zero out. Proceed to BASIC or PROGRAM CHARGING. BASIC CHARGING 1. Remove platform from case. 2. Place platform on level surface. 3. Place DOT tank in center of platform and connect to liquid port. (Place disposable tank upside down). 4. Make sure the charging lines and the system are free of air using deep vacuum pump. (Follow vacuum instructions) 5. Press ON/OFF button to turn unit on. 6. Press TARE/ENTER button – display will read zero. (If the scale has not been used for a w  hile press and hold TARE/ ENTER button to reset the scale). 7. Open the valve to begin charging. 8. When the desired amount is reached, close the valve. 9. Press ON/OFF button to turn unit off. PROGRAM CHARGING 1. Repeat steps (1 through 5) in BASIC CHARGING. 2. Press CHARGE/PAUSE button. 3. Set amount of refrigerant you want to charge using CLEAR, , and SHIFT buttons. 4. Press ENTER to start. 5. Open the valve on the tank to begin charging. Just before charging is completed, a short alarm will sound, allowing 2 time to turn off supply. 6. When charging is completed, scale will sound an alarm again and display CH/END. Press any button to stop alarm. (If the tank is empty and the charge is not complete, Empty Tank will display. Replace the tank and press CHARGE/ PAUSE button to resume charging). 7. When the desired amount is reached, close the valve and press ON/OFF button to turn unit off. This unit is preprogrammed for minimum and maximum cylinder weight 0 oz / 240 lbs (0 kg / 110 kgs). * To change cylinder weight setting, refer to INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING TANK CAPACITIES. REPEAT CHARGING 1. Press REPEAT to start charging the previously stored amount. 2. Open the valve. 3. When desired amount is reached, close the valve and press ON/OFF to turn unit off. (If scale was turned off, follow steps (1 through 5) of BASIC CHARGING, then follow the REPEAT CHARGING steps). RECOVERY/RECYCLE 1. Repeat steps (1 through 7) in BASIC CHARGING. 2. Begin recycling. 3. The display indicates the amount of collected refrigerant when recycling is completed. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING TANK CAPACITY 1. Turn on the unit. 2. Select readout using UNIT/SHIFT. 3. Press UNIT/SHIFT again and hold down until the last digit in display “blinks”. 4. Use CLEAR, , and SHIFT to input the empty tank weight. 5. Press ENTER to set the empty tank weight. The display will read “GOOD” to confirm. 6. Use CLEAR, , and SHIFT to input full tank weight. 7. Press ENTER to set the full tank weight. The display will read “GOOD - OUT” to confirm. 8. Press ON/OFF button to turn unit off. CALIBRATION PROCEDURE 1. Turn on scale. When “HELLO” is displayed press “TARE/ENTER” and “CLEAR” together. DO NOT OPERATE with a low battery. 3 USING THE ELECTRONIC CHARGING SCALE AND THE MASTERCOOL CONNECT APP 1. Download the Mastercool Connect app to a hand-held smart device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Press the power key on the digital scale keypad to turn on the device. 3. Launch the Mastercool Connect app on the mobile device. 4. Touch “SEARCH” on the Mastercool Connect app. 5. From the list of available devices, pick the digital scale. The digital scale should be listed as Raytac AT-UART. 6. Once the digital scale and the Mastercool Connect app are both linked the app will display what the digital scale is measuring in the selected unit. 7. To access the app options click on the main menu icon ( ) and the app options will be displayed. 8. To disconnect the app from the device open the main menu and hit disconnect. NOTE: Incompatibility issues may arise due to changes passed down from Apple® and Android™ platforms. Mastercool will continually monitor and update our app software. Waagenladeplatte auf ebene Oberfläche stellen. 3. Füllzylinder auf Waagenlade-Plattenmitte stellen und zur Kältemittelzufuhr anschließen. (Verfügbare Flasche umkehren und auf den Kopf stellen). 4. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Fülschläuche bei Benutzung der Tiefvakuum Pumpe luftfrei sind. (Vakuumgebrauchsanweisung befolgen). 5. Auf “ON/OFF” Schalterknopf drücken um einzuschalten. 6. Auf “TARE/ENTER” Taste drücken, auf der Anzeige steht eine Null “zero”. (Sollte es nicht die Null anzeigen, dann Gebrauchsanweisung für Flascheninhalt seinstellung zu Null für leere Flaschen befolgen) 7. Das Ventil öffnen und mit dem Füllen beginnen. 8. Wenn die gewünschte Menge erreicht ist, das Ventil schließen. 9. Auf den “ON/OFF” Knopf drücken zum Ausschalten. FÜLLUNGSPROGRAMMIERUNG 1. Etappen 1-5 der Beschreibung “normale Füllung” wiederholen. 2. Auf “CHARGE/PAUSE” Knopf drücken. 3. Einstellung der Kältemittelmenge, welche geladen wird bei Benutzung der “CLEAR” 4. Zum Starten auf “ENTER” drücken. , und “SHIFT” Tasten. 5 5. Das Ventil auf der Füllflasche öffnen und Ladung anfangen. Kurz vor dem Ende der Ladung ertönt, ein kurzer Alarm, der aber genügend Zeit lässt, um die Zufuhr zu schließen. 6. Wenn die Ladung zu Ende ist, ertönt nochmals der Alarm der Waage und auf der Anzeige sieht man “CH/END”. Jeder Knopfdruck wird den Alarm stoppen. Wenn die Flasche leer ist und die Füllung noch nicht been det ist, auf den “CHARGE/PAUSE” Knopf drücken, Flasche wechseln und wieder auf “CHARGE/PAUSE” drücken, um weiter zu füllen. 7. Wenn die gewünschte Menge erreicht wird, Ventil schließen und auf den “ON/OFF” Knopf drücken zum Ausschalten. Das Gerät erhält eine im “Vorauseinstellung” für minimal and maximal Zylindergewicht 0 kg/110 kg (0 Oz/240 lbs) Das ist ein Beispiel des fertigen Etiketts. WIEDERHOLUNG EINER FÜLLUNG 1. (Wenn die Waage ausgeschaltet war, die Etappen 1 bis 5 der normalen Füllung befolgen, (dann WIEDER HOLUNG der LADUNGSEtappen befolgen). FLASCHENINHALT-GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Gerät einschalten. Ablesung wählen bei Benutzung von “UNIT/SHIFT”. Noch einmal auf “UNIT/SHIFT” drücken und Taste gedruckt festhalten bis die letzte Ziffer der Anzeige “blinkt”. “CLEAR” , und “SHIFT” benutzen, um leeres Flaschengewicht zu speichern. Für Flaschentara Gewichteinstellung auf “ENTER” drücken. Die Anzeige mit “Good” bestätigt. Für Flaschenvollgewichtspeicherung auf “CLEAR” , und “SHIFT” Taste drücken Für Flaschenvollgewichteinstellung auf “ENTER” Taste drücken. Das Display bestätigt mit “Good-Out”. Auf “ON/OFF” drücken zum Ausschalten. VORSCHRIFTEN ZUM KALIBRIEREN 1. Waage einschalten. Beim “HELLO” Anzeige gleichzeitig die Tasten “TARE/ENTER” und “CLEAR” eindrücken. Die Anzeige wird jetzt angeben. 2. “TARE/ENTER“ Taste eindrücken. Display zeigt für Kalibrierung in Kg (falls benötigt in Lb, die eindrücken – Display zeigt ). “TARE/ENTER” eindrücken zur Bestätigung. 3. Auf Display erscheint ein Zahl mit 5 Digits “-----.” Die Taste Taste eindrücken. 4. Ein Kalibrierungsgewicht auf Plattform stellen. 5. Die Taste eindrücken, dann die “TARE/ENTER” Taste eindrücken. Die angezeigte Zahl muss mit dem Kalibrierungsgewicht übereinstimmen. Wenn ein Digit abgeändert werden muss, “UNIT/SHIFT” drücken zum Aktivierung (blinkt). oder eindrücken um Digit zu ändern. (NE PAS APPUYEZ sur CLEAR pendant l’initialisation!). Puis procéder à la CHARGE DE BASE ou le REMPLISSAGE PROGRAMME. CHARGE DE BASE 1. Enlevez la balance de la mallette. 2. Placez la balance sur une surface horizontale. 3. Placez la bouteille au centre du plate-forme et raccordez-la vers la connexion d’accès de liquide (si besoin, placer la bouteille à l’envers) 4. Utilisez la pompe à vide pour dégager l´air des flexibles et du système. (Suivez les instructions concernant la mise à vide). 5. Appuyez sur la touche “ON/OFF” pour la mise en marche. 6. Appuyer sur la touche TARE/ENTER – la lecture sera à zéro. (si la balance n’a pas été utilisée pendant quelque temps, appuyer en permanence sur TARE/ENTER pour la mise à zéro) 7. Ouvrir la vanne pour commencer la charge. 8. Lorsque la quantité désirée est atteinte, fermer la vanne. 9. Appuyez sur la touche “ON/OFF” pour arrêter le fonctionnement. CHARGE PROGRAMMEE 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Répétez les étapes (1 à 5) de la charge de base. Appuyez sur la touche “CHARGE/PAUSE”. Indiquez la quantité de fluide frigorigène à mettre en charge en utilisant les touches “CLEAR” et “SHIFT”. Appuyez sur entrée “ENTER” pour commencer. Appuyez sur «REPEAT» pour débuter une charge identique à la précédente. 2. Ouvrez la vanne. 3. Lorsque vous obtenez la quantité requise, fermez la vanne et appuyez sur “ON/OFF” pour arrêter. Indien er een cijfer moet gewijzigd worden, druk op “UNIT/SHIFT” om de digit te activeren (zal knipperen). of om te wijzigen. Herhaal totdat alle digits gewijzigd zijn. Druk op 6. Wanneer het getal overeenkomt met het geijkte gewicht op het platform, druk dan op “TARE/ENTER.” De ijking is nu teneinde. Wanneer “HELLO” weer verschijnt op het scherm, kan u het gewicht wegnemen. Tenha certeza que o sistema esteja em vácuo usando uma bomba de vácuo. 5. Pressione o botão ON/OFF ligando assim a balança. 6. Pressione o botão TARE/ENTER – O visor irá exibir zero. 7. Abra a válvula para iniciar o processo de carga. 8. Quando a escala alcançar o valor desejado, feche a válvula. 9. Pressione o botão ON/OFF desligando a balança. CARGA PROGRAMADA 1. Repita os passos (1 a 5) do processo de Carga Básica. 2. Pressione o botão de “CHARGE/PAUSE”. , e “SHIFT” . 3. Indique a carga desejada utilizando os botões “CLEAR” 4. Pressione “ENTER” para confirmar o valor. 5. Abra a válvula do tanque de refrigerante para iniciar a carga. Com aproximadamente 90% da carga completada soará uma alarme sonoro curto, alertando o operador para o término do processo de carga . 6. Quando a carga for completada, soará um novo alarme e o visor exibirá “CH/END”. Pressionar qualquer tecla para interromper o alarme. (Se o tanque foi esvaziado e carga não tiver sido completada pressione a tecla “CHARGE/ 21 PAUSE”, troque o tanque vazio por um novo e pressione “CHARGE/PAUSE”). 7. Quando a quantidade desejada for alcançada, feche a válvula do tanque e pressione “ON/OFF” para desligar a balança. Pressione “REPEAT” para iniciar uma carga previamente programada (o montante de carga será exibido no visor). 2. Abra a válvula do tanque. 3. Quando a carga é atingida, feche a válvula e pressione “ON/OFF” para desligar a balança. (Caso a escala esteja desligada, os passos de 1 a 5 do processo de Carga Básica deve ser refeito, então poderemos aplicar esta função de repetir a Carga). RECOLHIMENTO E RECICLAGEM 1. Repita os passos (1 a 7) do processo de carga básica. 2. Inicie a reciclagem ou recolhimento. 3. O visor indicará o montante de refrigerante recolhido do sistema quando o recolhimento estiver completo. INSTRUÇÕES PARA PROGRAMAR CAPACIDADE DO TANQUE 1. Ligue a unidade. 2. Ligue a balança. Quando “HELLO” aparecer pressione “TARE/ENTER” e “CLEAR” simultaneamente. 2. Pressione “TARE/ENTER”. Visor ira mostrar SET-11 para calibração quilo (para lb pressione exibido). Novamente “HELLO” aparecerá e voce pode remover o peso calibrado.
