Introductie
Bedankt voor het aanschaffen van dit Maxima product. Deze instructies dienen volledig gelezen te
worden voordat u dit product gaat installeren of gebruiken. Op deze manier kunt u optimaal van dit
product gebruik maken.
Uw nieuwe Maxima product is geproduceerd met geavanceerde productietechnieken. Elk product
wordt voor verzending geïnspecteerd en getest om veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid te kunnen
waarborgen. Alle parameters voldoen volgens de nationale standaarden.
De Maxima aardappelschrapmachines zijn ideaal voor het schillen van aardappelen, maar ook
groenten als wortelen. De machine is eenvoudig uit elkaar te halen en schoon te maken.
Bij Maxima zijn wij erg trots op onze producten en zijn volledig gecommitteerd om u van de beste
producten en service te voorzien. Uw tevredenheid is onze nummer 1 prioriteit.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
• Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor het werd ontworpen. De
fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van onjuiste
bediening en verkeerd gebruik.
• Onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat kan ernstige schade aan het
apparaat en verwonding van personen tot gevolg hebben.
• Zorg dat het apparaat en de stekker niet met water of een andere vloeistof in aanraking
komen.
• Mocht het apparaat onverhoopt in het water vallen, trek dan onmiddellijk de stekker uit het
stopcontact en laat het apparaat controleren door een erkend vakman. Het niet navolgen
van dit advies kan levensgevaar opleveren.
• Probeer nooit zelf de behuizing van het apparaat te openen.
• Steek geen voorwerpen in de behuizing van het apparaat.
• Plaats het apparaat nooit op de zijkant of ondersteboven, ook niet met eventueel transport.
Kantel het apparaat niet onder een hoek die groter is dan 45°.
• Raak de stekker niet met natte of vochtige handen aan.
• Controleer stekker en snoer regelmatig op eventuele beschadiging. Indien stekker of snoer
beschadigd is, laat de reparatie bij een erkend bedrijf uitvoeren.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet nadat het is gevallen of op andere wijze beschadigd is. Laat het bij
een erkend reparatiebedrijf controleren en zo nodig repareren.
• Probeer het apparaat niet zelf te repareren. Dit kan levensgevaar opleveren.
• Zorg dat het snoer niet met scherpe of hete voorwerpen in aanraking komt en houdt het uit de
buurt van open vuur. Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact wilt trekken, pak dan altijd de stekker
zelf beet en trek nooit aan het snoer.
• LET OP! Gebruik geen verlengsnoer, maar sluit het apparaat rechtstreeks op het stopcontact

• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het schrappen van aardappelen.
• Houdt het apparaat tijdens gebruik steeds in de gaten.
• Laat kinderen nooit zonder toezicht in de buurt van het apparaat spelen.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit buitenhuis.
• Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt en telkens
voordat het wordt schoongemaakt.
• De elektrische aansluitingen moeten voldoen aan de hiervoor bestemde richtlijnen.
• Gevaar! Zo lang de stekker in het stopcontact zit, staat het apparaat onder netspanning.
• Schakel het apparaat uit, voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt.
• Draag het apparaat nooit aan het snoer.
• Voorkom overbelasting.
Voorbereiding voor eerste ingebruikname
• Controleer of het apparaat niet beschadigd is. Neem in geval van beschadiging onmiddellijk
contact op met uw leverancier en gebruik het apparaat NIET.
• Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond, zodat het apparaat niet kan schuiven
of kantelen.
• Plaats het apparaat niet direct naast bronnen die warmte uitstralen (bijvoorbeeld oven,
verwarming).
• Plaats het apparaat in de buurt van een wateraansluiting.
• Maak uw toevoerslang (deze moet u zelf verzorgen) vast aan de kraan en maak het andere
uiteinde vast aan de aansluiting bovenop het apparaat.
• Plaats de machine boven/naast een waterafvoer en plaats de blauwe afvoerslang zo dat het
water eenvoudig weg kan stromen. Het andere einde van de blauwe afvoerslag bevestigd u
aan de opvangbak. Plaats de opvangbak geheel onder de machine.
• Plaats het apparaat zo, dat de stekker te allen tijde vrij en bereikbaar is.
• Rol het elektrische snoer volledig uit en steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
• Maak voor het eerste gebruik de accessoires en het apparaat van binnen en buiten schoon
met lauw water en een zacht doekje. Kijk voor de beste manier om alle onderdelen schoon te
maken in het hoofdstuk ‘Reiniging en Onderhoud’.
• Volg de stappen die aangegeven worden in het volgende hoofdstuk ‘Bediening’.
Bediening
• Steek de stekker in een geaard stopcontact.
• Door de ijzeren hendel omhoog te halen, zal de plastic deksel van de schrapmachine worden
gelicht, u kunt nu in de machine kijken.
• Plaats het te schillen product in het apparaat.

• LET OP! Plaats nooit meer producten in de machine dan waar de schrapwand overgaat in
gladde behuizing.
• Check nogmaals of de watertoevoerslag correct bevestigd is aan de deksel. Check ook of de
klep aan de voorkant dicht is, wanneer dit niet het geval is, zal de machine niet gaan draaien.
• LET OP! Draai de kraan open, voordat u de machine aanzet.
• Door op de groene start knop te drukken, stelt u het apparaat in werking. Het apparaat heeft
een tijd van 2 à 3 minuten nodig per cyclus. Laat de machine niet langer dan 5 minuten
achtereen draaien.
• Druk op de rode stop knop wanneer u de cyclus wilt beëindigen of bij NOOD tijdens de cyclus.
• LET OP! Stop nooit uw handen in het apparaat terwijl deze in werking is.
• LET OP! Wanneer het apparaat overbeladen of verstopt is, stopt deze automatisch. Schakel
het apparaat uit en controleer de hoeveelheid en/of de eventueel vastzittende producten.
• Wanneer het apparaat klaar is en u deze heeft uitgeschakeld, kunt u door de klep aan de
voorkant te gebruiken de producten in een door u geplaatste bak laten vallen.
• Het is mogelijk om de machine de producten uit te laten werpen. Wanneer u de klep opent en
deze aan de hendel omhoog houdt, kunt u met uw andere hand de witte knop out en de
groene knop start indrukken. De machine zal nu met een lichte snelheid de producten uit de
machine werpen.
• LET OP! Wanneer niet alle producten eruit zijn. Schakel eerst de machine UIT en steek dan
pas uw hand in de machine om de overige producten te verwijderen.
• Het water wordt afgevoerd via de opvangbak onder de machine, het filter zorgt ervoor dat er
grove delen niet in de afvoer komen.
• Wanneer u klaar bent met het gebruik van het apparaat, maak dan het apparaat schoon
volgens de richtlijnen in hoofdstuk ‘Reiniging en onderhoud’.
• LET OP! Wij adviseren alle onderdelen van het apparaat, die in aanraking zijn gekomen met
de producten, iedere dag schoon te maken, dit omdat resten schade aan de machine kunnen
brengen.
• Indien u het apparaat voor langere tijd niet gebruikt, verwijder dan de stekker uit het
stopcontact.
Reiniging en onderhoud
• LET OP! Voordat u het apparaat gaat reinigen, dan wel ter reparatie stelt, altijd eerst de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Regelmatig dient gecontroleerd te worden of de voedinigskabel niet is beschadigd, wanneer
deze beschadigd is, is het niet toegestaan het apparaat te gebruiken. De kabel dient
vervangen te worden door de leverancier of een gekwalificeerde elektricien.

• Eventueel ander onderhoud- en reparatiewerkzaamheden mogen alleen door gekwalificeerde
vaklui worden uitgevoerd met gebruikmaking van originele onderdelen en accessoires.
• LET OP! Probeer nooit zelf het apparaat te repareren.
• LET OP! Nooit het apparaat, dan wel de stekker, in water of een andere vloeistof
onderdompelen.
• De binnen- en buitenkant van het apparaat maakt u schoon met een zacht, vochtig doekje
(water met mild reinigingsmiddel). Voor de schrapplaat kunt u eventueel ook een borstel
gebruiken. Droog het apparaat na het schoonmaken.
• De losse onderdelen kunnen in warm water met sop schoon worden gemaakt. Stop de
onderdelen niet in de vaatwasser, aangezien de gebruikte reinigingsmiddelen te aggresief
kunnen zijn. Ook kunt u de onderdelen niet met een harde straal afspuiten. Droog de
onderdelen na het schoonmaken.
• Door de ijzeren hendel omhoog te halen, zal de plastic deksel van de schrapmachine worden
gelicht, u kunt nu in de machine kijken.
• Vervolgens kunt u de klemmen van het deksel losmaken en de deksel van de machine
verwijderen.
• Door de klemmen onderaan de ronde ton los te halen, is het mogelijk om de ton voorzichtig te
verwijderen en de ton los van de voet schoon te maken.
• LET OP! Gebruik geen agressieve of bijtende reinigingsmiddelen. Gebruik ook geen benzine
houdende of oplosmiddelen. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het apparaat komt.
• Na het schoonmaken moet u de onderdelen weer terugplaatsen op de manier waarop deze
gedemonteerd zijn.

• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op de juiste manier is schoongemaakt voordat u het opslaat.
• Rol het snoer op en stop het netjes weg.
• Berg het apparaat op in een droge en koele plaats.
Garantie
Hartelijk bedankt dat u onze producten gebruikt. Ons bedrijf hanteert bepalingen zoals beschreven in
onze "Algemene Voorwaarden", en geven u ondersteuning wanneer u een factuur kunt overleggen.
Wij verlenen 12 maanden garantie na aankoopdatum. In de garantieperiode is ons bedrijf
verantwoordelijk voor onderdelen onder garantie in geval van materiaalfouten, fabricagefouten of
kwaliteitsproblemen. Alleen bij correct gebruik en orginele onderdelen.
De volgende zaken vallen niet onder de garantie:
1. Schade als gevolg van transport, installatie of verkeerde aansluitingen.
2. Component schade veroorzaakt door verkeerde elektrische- of water aansluiting.
3. Schade als gevolg van demontage of aanpassingen aan de orginele machine, zonder
toestemming.

6. Het niet lezen of volgen van de gebruikershandleiding.
7. Verbruiksonderdelen en aan slijtage onderhevige onderdelen.
8. Aangepaste factuur of geen factuur.

product, please read these instructions completely before attempting to install or use this product.
Your new Maxima product is manufactured with advanced production techniques. Every product is
inspected before shipment and tested to ensure operator safety and product quality. All parameters
have reached or exceeded the national standard.
The Maxima potato peelers can be used to peel different food products. The machines are safe, stable
and easy-to-use. This appliance can be used for example to peel potatoes, but can also be used to
peel carrots. All parts in contact with food are made of stainless steel or food grade materials.

Safety regulations
• Incorrect operation and improper use of the appliance can seriously damage the appliance
and injure users.
• The appliance may only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and designed. The
manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
• This appliance may only be used for the peeling of food.
• Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and any other liquids. In the unlikely
event that the appliance should fall into water, immediately pull the plug out of the socket and
have the appliance checked by a certified technician. Not following these instructions
could give rise to life-threatening situations.
• Never try to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
• Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.
• Do not place the appliance on its side or upside down, also not while the appliance is being
transported. Do not turn the appliance in an angle of more than 45°.
• Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
• Regularly check the plug and cord for any damage. When the plug or cord is damaged, you
should have it repaired by a certified repair company.
• Do not use the appliance after it has fallen or is damaged in any other way. Have it checked

• Never let children use appliances without supervision.
• Always pull the plug out of the socket when the appliance is not being used and always before
cleaning.
• Warning! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power source.
• Turn off the appliance before pulling the plug out of the socket.
• Never carry the appliance by the cord.
• Avoid overloading the appliance.
• Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with the appliance.
• The electrical installation must satisfy the applicable national and local regulations.
Preparations before using for the first time
• Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your
supplier immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
• Remove all the packing material.
• Place the appliance in the middle of a steady place and level the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance is not placed next to any sources that radiate heat (for example a
heater, stove or oven).
• Make sure the appliance is placed 10 cm from every other object or walls.
• Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
• Clean the accessories and the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
• Place the appliance close to a water tap.
• Place the appliance close to a drain.
• Place your water inlet tube (you have to supply this yourself) with one end to the water tap and
the other end on top of the appliance.
• Connect the blue outlet tube with the filter tank and place the filter tank completely underneath
the appliance. Place the other end in the drain where water can flow away easily.
• Follow the steps in chapter ‘Operation’.
Operation
• Plug the appliance into the main socket. Make certain the socket is earthed.
• By lifting up the iron handle, the plastic lid will be lifted from the appliance, you can now look
within the appliance.
• Place the product you want to peel in the appliance.
• Warning! Do not place more products within the appliance than the abrasive band within the
appliance.
• Check again whether the inlet and outlet tube are placed correctly. Check whether the door at
the front of the appliance is closed correctly, when this is not the case, the appliance will not
work.

• Warning! Turn on the water tap before starting the appliance.
• Use the green button to start the appliance. The appliance needs 2 – 3 minutes for one
peeling cycle. Do not let the machine work longer than 5 minutes.
• Press the red button to end the cycle or in case of an EMERGENCY.
• Warning! Do not go with your hands in the appliance when the appliance is turned on.
• Warning! When the appliance is overloaded or stuck, the appliance will stop automatically.
Turn off the appliance and control whether something has got stuck and check the amount
that is placed in the appliance.
• It is possible to let the appliance eject the contents. When you open the door at the front and
hold it up by the handle, you can use your other hand to press the white and green button at
the same time. The machine will eject the products at a lower speed. We advise you to put a
bucket or similar underneath to catch the contents.
• Warning! When not all the products left the appliance, do not put your hands into the
appliance. Turn off the appliance first and then it is possible to put your hand in the appliance
and take out the products which are still left.
• The water will fall into the filter tank, the filter will make certain coarse peel will not fall into the
drain.
• When the appliance will not be used for a longer period, please remove the plug from the main
socket.
• When you are finished with the appliance, make sure it is cleaned according to the steps in
chapter ‘Cleaning and maintenance’.
• Warning! We advise you to clean daily, because parts of the products that stay behind may
cause damage to your appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always remove the plug from the socket before any cleaning or maintenance is being done to
the appliance.
• Warning! Do not use any aggressive detergents or scourers, which may cause scratches. Do
not use gasoline containing or solvents while cleaning. Make sure no water enters the
appliance.
• Warning! Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
• By lifting up the iron handle, the plastic lid will be lifted from the appliance, you can now look
within the appliance.
• Next it is possible to remove the clamps on the side of the iron lid and remove the lid from the
appliance.

• By removing the clamps on the bottom of the appliance, it is possible to remove the cask
carefully and clean it.
• Warning! Do not remove any parts violently, this will be excluded from warranty.
• Clean the accessories and the appliance with a damp cloth and brush (water with mild
detergent). Dry the appliance and parts totally by making use of a dry towel.
• Warning! Do not put parts in the dishwasher; the detergents might be too aggressive.

Discarding
• When discarding the appliance at the end of its useful life, please observe the regulations and
guidelines in force at that time.
