Veiligheidsinstructies
De inbouw en montage van elektrische appara-
ten mag alleen door een elektromonteur worden
uitgevoerd.
Als de handleiding niet wordt opgevolgd, kunnen
schade aan het apparaat, brand of andere gevaren
ontstaan.
Voor werkzaamheden aan apparaat of last vrijscha-
kelen. Daarbij rekening houden met alle installa-
tieautomaten, die gevaarlijke spanningen aan het
toestel of de last leveren.

Functie
Correct gebruik
• Montage in apparatuurdoos voor realiseren van de
beschermingsklasse IP44 voor SCHUKO-wand-
contactdozen met klapdeksel, inbouwschakelaars
en andere geschikte apparaten.
• Montage op gladde, vlakke en verticale
oppervlakken.
• Montage in vlak met het pleisterwerk geïnstalleer-
de apparatuurdozen conform DIN 49073
L De IP44 beschermingsklasse wordt alleen bereikt,
wanneer alle gemonteerde apparaten geschikt zijn
voor IP44 en worden samengebouwd volgens de
montagehandleiding.

Safety instructions
Electrical devices may only be installed and tted
by electrically skilled persons.
Non-compliance with the instructions could cause
damage to the device, re or other hazards.
Before working, disconnect the power to the device
or load. In so doing, take all the miniature circuit
breakers into account which may supply danger-
ous voltages to the device or load.

Function
Intended purpose
• Installation in appliance boxes to achieve IP44
protection for SCHUKO socket outlets with hinged
cover, ush-mounted switches and other suitable
devices.
• Installation on smooth, even and vertical surfaces.
• Installation in ush-mounted device boxes accor-
ding to DIN 49073
L IP44 protection is only achieved if all of the ins-
talled devices are IP44-compatible and assembly
has been performed in accordance with the instal-
lation instructions.

Sicherheitshinweise
Einbau und Montage elektrischer Geräte dürfen nur
durch Elektrofachkräfte erfolgen.
Bei Nichtbeachten der Anleitung können Schäden
am Gerät, Brand oder andere Gefahren entstehen.
Vor Arbeiten an Gerät oder Last freischalten. Dabei
alle Leitungsschutzschalter berücksichtigen, die
gefährliche Spannungen an Gerät oder Last liefern.

Funktion
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Montage in Gerätedosen zum Erreichen der
Schutzart IP44 für SCHUKO-Steckdosen mit
Klappdeckel, UP-Schalter und andere geeignete
Geräte.
• Montage auf glatten, ebenen und senkrechten
Flächen.
• Montage in putzbündig installierten Gerätedosen
nach DIN 49073
L Die IP44-Schutzart wird nur dann erreicht, wenn
alle montierten Geräte IP44-geeignet sind und der
Zusammenbau entsprechend der Montageanlei-
tung erfolgt.

L Montage uitsluitend met frame uit de range AS, A,
CD, LS met bijbehorende IP44-markering.
L Gebruik van IP44-wandcontactdozen met klapdek-
sel alleen met IP44-SCHUKO-stekkers. Anders
wordt de IP44 beschermingsklasse tijdens gebruik
niet gehaald.

Montage

GEVAAR!
Elektrische schok bij aanraken van onderde-
len in de inbouwomgeving die onder span-
ning staan.
Elektrische schokken kunnen dodelijk letsel
tot gevolg hebben.
Schakel het apparaat vrij voor aanvang van
werkzaamheden aan het apparaat en dek
onderdelen in de omgeving die onder span-
ning staan af!

De IP44-vaan (6) markeert de beschermingsklasse in
ingebouwde toestand.
In meervoudige combinaties heeft ieder element een
eigen afdichtingsens nodig. Voor verticale installatie
blijft de IP44-vaan alleen in de onderste doos. Alle
anderen moeten worden afgesneden. (Afbeelding 2)

installation environment.
An electric shock can be fatal.
Before working on the device, disconnect the
power and cover live parts in the area.
Installation according to Figure 1
The IP44 tag (6) indicates the degree of protection in
the installed state.
In multiple combinations each insert requires its own
sealing gasket. For vertical installations the IP44 tag
is left only in the bottommost box. All of the other ones
must be cut off. (Figure 2)
L Montage ausschließlich mit Rahmen aus den
Serien AS, A, CD, LS mit entsprechender IP44-
Kennzeichnung.
L Betrieb von IP44-Steckdosen mit Klappdeckel nur
mit IP44-SCHUKO-Stecker. Ansonsten wird die
IP44-Schutzart im Betrieb nicht erreicht.

Elektrischer Schlag bei Berühren spannungs-
führender Teile in der Einbauumgebung.
Elektrischer Schlag kann zum Tod führen.
Vor Arbeiten am Gerät freischalten und
spannungsführende Teile in der Umgebung
abdecken!
Montage gemäß Bild 1
Die IP44-Fahne (6) kennzeichnet die Schutzart im
eingebauten Zustand.
In Mehrfachkombinationen benötigt jeder Einsatz einen
eigenen Dichtungsansch. Für senkrechte Installati-
onen wird die IP44-Fahne nur in der untersten Dose
belassen. Alle anderen müssen abgeschnitten werden.
