READ CAREFULLY THIS INSTRUCTION BEFORE USE
AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
HOW TO USE
Voor eerste gebruik:
Remove all packages before use. There is cleaning oil
residue before the first use. (To clean and protect the urn,
manufacturer used food grade cleaning oil) It is
recommended you clean your urn before the first use.
Verwijder alle verpakkingen voor gebruik.
Reinig de waterkoker voor eerste gebruik grondig om de
oliën die tijdens het fabricatie process gebruikt worden te
verwijderen.
Fill the urn with water to “MAX” level, boil, discard
the water, and then rinse. Repeat the procedure severaltimes
to remove any dust, residues, etc., from the urn.
Lees eerst zorgvuldig de veiligheids maatregelen (zie
hieronder) en volg pas daarna de volgende stappen. Vul de
waterkoker tot het maximaal aangegeven punt "MAX" met
water, schakel de "HEATING" knop in en kook het water. Als
het water gekookt is, dan laat je de waterkoker voorzichtig
leeglopen door het kraantje ingedrukt te houden.
Gebruiksaanwijzingen:
Turn the lid counter clockwise to open.
Draai het deksel tegen de klok in om te openen.
Fill the tank with tap water. Make sure the water is below
the "MAX " water level indicator.

Vul de tank met kraanwater. Zorg ervoor dat het water
onder de "MAX" waterpeil staat.
Replace the lid and turn clockwise to lock into place.
Plaats het deksel terug en draai het met de klok mee om het
op zijn plaats te vergrendelen.
Connect the plug and the socket.
Plaats de stekker in het stopcontact.
Switch on the heating switch, the “HEATING” pilot lamp will
light up and the water starts to heat up, until the water is
boiling, close the heating switch to stop heat up. Then
switch on the keep warm switch, the “KEEP WARM” pilot
lamp will be light up and it shows that the appliance is in the
state of keep warm.
Schakel de "HEATING" schakelaar in, het controlelampje
"HEATING" gaat branden en het water begint op te warmen.
Eens het water gekookt is, schakel de "HEATING" switch uit
om het opwarmen te stoppen. Schakel vervolgens de "KEEP
WARM" schakelaar aan, het controlelampje “KEEP WARM”
gaat branden en geeft aan dat het apparaat in de
warmhoudstand staat.
Use the faucet to dispense water.
Gebruik de kraan om heet water af te tappen.
When about three cups of water are remaining in the tank,
turn the appliance off and unplug it from the electric outlet.
Always make sure at least three cups of water are remaining
in the tank to prevent the boil-dry accident.
Wanneer het water bijna leeg is, zet u het apparaat uit en
haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Zorg er altijd voor dat er ten minste drie kopjes water ( 4
centimeter ) in de tank achterblijven om het droogkoken te
voorkomen.
SAFETY CUT OUT
Urns feature a boil dry protection system, which will switch
off the element if the water level is too low. To reset the
safety cut out, switch off and unplug the urn and allow it to
cool. Empty out the water and press the RESET button
underneath the urn. Refill with cold water and switch the
urn back on again. The urn will automatically reboil.
Automatische uitschakel functie
Deze heetwater dispenser is voorzien van een
droogkookbeveiliging, die het verwarmingselement uitschakelt als
het waterpeil te laag is. Om de veiligheidsuitschakeling te resetten,
schakelt u het toestel uit, haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact en

Do not touch metal parts of the urn as they become hot
during use.
Raak de metalen delen van de waterkoker niet aan, deze

Be mindful of hot steam coming from the lid vents.

deksel komt.
Do not leave electrical appliances unattended when in use.

ze in gebruik zijn.
Always put the urn on a clean, level surface that can
withstand the weight of the urn - including water.
Plaats de waterkoker altijd op een schone, vlakke
ondergrond die bestand is tegen het gewicht van de
waterkoker - inclusief water.
Always switch off and disconnect the urn from the mains
supply before cleaning or when not in use.
Schakel de waterkoker altijd uit en trek de stekker uit het

NEVER attempt to move the urn when it is full of hot (or
cold) water.

Do not allow the urn to be immersed in liquid.

Do not attempt to disassemble the urn – there are no user
serviceable parts inside.

ALWAYS disconnect from the mains supply and allow the
water to cool completely before attempting to clean or
descale the urn.

te maken of te ontkalken.
NEVER OVERFILL THE URN.

Do not allow cold water to sit in the urn for more than 2
days as it could stagnate, which is very unhygienic. Empty
the water out completely and refill if the urn has been stood
idle over the weekend.
Laat koud water niet langer dan 2 dagen in de waterkoker
staan, dit kan stagneren, wat erg onhygiënisch is. Leeg het

water volledig, spoel de waterkoker grondig af en vul
opnieuw als de waterkoker 2 dagen heeft gestaan.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an
external timer or any kind of separate remote control
system.
Uw apparaat mag nooit worden ingeschakeld via een
externe timer of een ander afzonderlijk
afstandsbedieningssysteem.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliances by a dedicated person who has been
trained and qualified.
Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen
(inclusief kinderen) met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of
mentale vermogens, of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis,

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

POWER SUPPLY
STROOMVOORZIENING
If the unit uses a mains supply, ensure that the plug is
securely inserted into the mains socket and it is easily
accessible.

Protect the power lead from sharp objects, excessive heat
and damp or wet locations.
Check the power lead periodically, and replace if damaged.

overmatige hitte en vochtige of natte plaatsen.
Controleer het stroomkabel regelmatig en vervang tijdig bij
slijtage of schade.
Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your product
corresponds with your local electricity supply which must be
A.C. (Alternating Current).
Controleer of de spanning op het typeplaatje van uw
product overeenkomt met uw plaatselijke
elektriciteitsvoorziening.
Any repairs should only be carried out by a fully qualified
electrician or an authorized service agent.
Eventuele reparaties mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door
een volledig gekwalificeerde elektricien of een
geautoriseerde reparatiedienst.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
Als het stroomkabel beschadigd is, moet het worden
vervangen door de fabrikant, zijn servicevertegenwoordiger
