TYPEPLAATJE
Op de achterzijde (zie afbeelding als voorbeeld) van het apparaat bevindt zich
het typeplaatje. Er wordt verzocht deze niet te verwijderen. Aan de hand van het
typeplaatje kan bijvoorbeeld worden achterhaald wanneer het apparaat is
aangeschaft (zie PO) en uit welke productielijn (zie SN) deze voortkomt.
Deze informatie kan essentieel zijn met betrekking tot bijvoorbeeld de garantie.
Ook bevat het belangrijke informatie zoals de spanning en het vermogen om het
apparaat veilig aan te kunnen sluiten.
TRANSPORT EN OPSLAG:
INDOOR
USE ONLY
Tijdens transport moet het apparaat te allen tijde zorgvuldig worden verpakt en mag het niet blootstaan
aan sterke trillingen of verschuivingen.
Sla het ingepakte apparaat op in een goed geventileerde ruimte zonder corrosieve gassen. Plaats het
nooit ondersteboven en bescherm het tegen regen als u het door omstandigheden een korte tijdsduur
buiten moet opslaan.
ALGEMENE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN EN GEBRUIKSOMGEVING:
1. Voordat u het apparaat op het elektriciteitsnet aansluit, dient u het apparaat 4 uur rechtop te laten staan, dit
verkleint de kans op een storing in het koelsysteem.
2. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal en eventueel aanwezige beschermfolie van het apparaat.
3. Plaats het apparaat waterpas op een stevige en goed geventileerde ondergrond, met links en rechts ten minste
20 cm vrije ruimte en aan de achterkant ten minste 20 cm vrije ruimte (tot bijv. de muur).
4. Plaats het apparaat niet op tapijt, een theedoek, een tafelkleed (vinyl) of een andere ondergrond die niet bestand is
tegen hoge temperaturen.
5. Plaats tijdens het gebruik geen spullen voor het apparaat om ervoor te zorgen dat het op elk gewenst moment kan
worden bediend.
6. Stop de stekker nooit in een verlengsnoer of stopcontact waar meerdere apparaten op aangesloten zijn.
7. Trek de stekker nooit met natte handen uit het stopcontact. Dit is levensgevaarlijk.
8. De voedingsspanning van het apparaat moet overeenkomen met de spanning van het stroomnet.
9. De gebruiker moet een geschikte voedingsschakelaar, zekering en aardlekschakelaar installeren in de buurt van
het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat de schakelaar altijd goed bereikbaar blijft, zodat hij gemakkelijk te bedienen is of er
in geval van gevaar direct actie kan worden ondernomen.
10. Het apparaat moet worden aangesloten aan een geaard stopcontact. Controleer dit voordat u begint.
11. Controleer altijd of de aansluitingen van alle elektrische onderdelen van het apparaat stevig vastzitten en dat het
apparaat veilig geaard is.
12. Trek bij het loskoppelen van het apparaat nooit aan het snoer, alleen aan de stekker.

13. Als de stroomkabel vervangen moet worden, moet dit worden uitgevoerd door een vakman.
De kabel dient te worden vervangen door eenzelfde/gelijke kabel.
14. Laat de aansluiting, de installatie en het onderhoud van het apparaat uitvoeren door een professionele (erkende)
elektro-installateur.
15. Als u iets abnormaals constateert, dient u het apparaat direct uit te schakelen en wellicht uw servicemonteur te
contacteren. Na het controleren en/of verhelpen van het probleem kunt u weer verdergaan.
16. Gebruik bij reparatie geen onderdelen anders dan die CaterCool standaard meelevert en dus niet van CaterCool
afkomstig zijn. CaterCool neemt geen verantwoordelijkheid voor schade toegebracht aan het apparaat door
gebruik van de ’verkeerde’ onderdelen.
ONTVETTEN:
Voordat u het apparaat in werking stelt dient u het apparaat grondig schoon te maken met warm water, een doek en
een kleine hoeveelheid schoonmaakmiddel. Spoel het apparaat zelf nooit af onder de kraan, dit kan de elektrische
onderdelen ernstig beschadigen.
Zorg bovendien dat voordat u het apparaat in werking stelt, u het goed heeft afgedroogd.
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR GEBRUIK
1. Het koelsysteem van het apparaat is uitgerust met geforceerde luchtkoeling.
2. Houd ventilatieopeningen vrij van obstakels.
3. Installeer de apparaat niet op een plaats waar het apparaat in contact komt met water of vocht roesten van
metalen onderdelen te minimaliseren.
4. De apparaat mag niet worden geïnstalleerd in de buurt van een warmtebron of op een locatie waar deze in direct
contact komt met het zonlicht.
REGULIER GEBRUIK
1. De apparaat moet regelmatig worden schoongemaakt.
2. De apparaat is niet ontworpen om buiten te worden geïnstalleerd, zoals een garage of veranda.
Omgevingstemperaturen lager dan 7°C of hoger dan 32°C zullen de prestaties van het apparaat belemmeren.

1. Zet de hoofdschakelaar op ON
2. Zet de controller normaal gesproken tussen "MID" en "HIGH".
De verdamper kan bevroren zijn als de controller in de "FREEZE"-stap staat en
de koelkastcapaciteit kan afnemen.
3. Het bereik van de controller wordt weergegeven in de stappen "LOW, MID,
HIGH en FREEZE".
4. De temperatuur in de koelkast gaat omlaag als je de knop met de klok mee draait, terwijl de temperatuur omhoog
gaat als je hem tegen de klok in draait.
WAARSCHUWINGEN:
• Overbelast het apparaat niet met voedsel, omdat dit de koeling beïnvloedt.
• Koel het warme voedsel af tot kamertemperatuur voordat je het in de koelkast zet.
• Raak de compressor nooit aan om brandwonden te vermijden.
VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN BIJ ONDERHOUD
1. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat niet gebruikt.
2. Haal voor het reinigen eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Reinig de motorunit en de container afzonderlijk van elkaar.
3. Dompel de motorunit niet in water en plaats hem niet in de vaatwasser.

SCHOONMAKEN EN ONDERHOUD:
Stap 1: Na gebruik dient het apparaat eerst te worden uitgeschakeld, waarna u de strekker uit het stopcontact dient
te verwijderen. Doe dit, te allen tijde, in de beschreven volgorde.
Dit voorkomt kortsluiting of ander mogelijk gevaar.
Stap 2: Gebruik bij het schoonmaken geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen. Het apparaat mag niet worden
schoongemaakt met een hogedrukreiniger of met een waterslang. Gebruik een vochtige doek en droog hem
daarna af.
SCHOONMAKEN VAN DE BUITENZIJDE:
1. Gebruik een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van de vitrinekast schoon te maken en droog hem daarna af.
SCHOONMAKEN BINNENZIJDE:
1. Haal de rekken uit de vitrinekast om ze te reinigen met water.
2. Gebruik een vochtige doek om de binnenkant van de vitrinekast schoon te maken en droog hem daarna af.
VITRINEKAST VOOR LANGE TIJD UITSCHAKELEN:
1. Verwijder al het voedsel en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Reinig zowel de binnen- als buitenkant van de koelkast grondig en laat de deur open voor ventilatie, dit voorkomt
schimmelvorming.
3. Reinig de condensbak en veeg deze droog.
• Let op! Spoel het apparaat niet af met water. (Houdt het niet onder de kraan).
Dit kan het apparaat en zijn onderdelen beschadigen en dit kan leiden tot gevaar.
• Reinig het apparaat nooit met een rvs-borstel. Dit veroorzaakt krassen en beschadigd het apparaat.
• Bewaar het apparaat binnen en droog.
• Zorg dat voordat u het apparaat wilt onderhouden, de stekker uit het stopcontact is verwijderd.
OPMERKINGEN
De volgende verschijnselen zijn geen problemen:
• Als de vitrinekast aan staat kan je het geruis van water horen. Dit is een normaal verschijnsel omdat het koelmiddel
in het systeem circuleert.
• In vochtige periodes kan er condensatie ontstaan aan de buitenkant van de vitrinekast. Dit wordt veroorzaakt door
een hoge luchtvochtigheid. Gebruik een drage doek om het af te vegen.
Als het apparaat niet werkt of is beschadigd, controleer dan het volgende:
1. Of de stekker in het stopcontact zit;
2. Of de stekker en/of het snoer beschadigd zijn.
Indien het probleem nummer 2 betreft of indien er een ander probleem optreed, dient u contact op te nemen met
uw lokale dealer of erkende servicemonteur.
Volgens de richtlijn betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (AEEA) moet AEEA
gescheiden ingezameld en verwerkt worden. Als dit product in de toekomst ooit afgedankt moet worden,
doe dit dan NIET via het huishoudelijk afval. Breng dit product indien mogelijk naar een afvalstation.

TYPE PLATE
The type plate (the picture is an example) is located on the device.
You are requested not to remove it. The type plate can for example be used to
determine, when the item was purchased (view PO) and from which production
line (view SN) it originates. This information may be essential with regard to
warranty. It also contains important information such as the voltage and power
supply which determines the ability to connect the device safe.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE:
INDOOR
USE ONLY
As long as the products are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down. This could
damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully. Make sure you
prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store this product outside or in
open air for a longer period of time than a few hours (not even packed). It should be stored in a
well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store
them temporarily outside, you should take measures to protect them from rain or moisture.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT:
1. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, let the unit stand upright for 4 hours, which will reduce the
possibility of the cooling system malfunctioning due to improper handling.
2. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device.
3. This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should be free from
obstacles for more than 20cm. It’s back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a wall etc.) for more than 20cm.
4. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another similar surface.
5. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at any time
needed.
6. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are connected.
7. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands.
8. The power pressure of this equipment should conform to the supply voltage of this product.
9. The user should install the suitable power switch, fuse and leakage-protector near to the equipment.
10. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.
11. Ensure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not, and whether the safety
grounding is reliable or not.
12. When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.

13. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model cable and: it is only allowed to let a
professional electrician do this.
14. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the applaince, do not do this by yourself.
This is forbidden. This must always be done by a professional electrician.
15. If there are any abnormal phenomenons during usage, you must stop the appliance directly.
After checking you can continue to use it as long as it is safe. Do not repair the appliance by yourself.
This should always been done by a technical professional.
16. Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterCool.
CaterCool is not taking any responsibilty for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.
DEGREASE:
Before operating for the first time, clean the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do
not rinse the appliance under the tap, this could cause serious damage to the appliance.
In addition, make sure that you have dried it properly before you start operating the device.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
1. Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
2. Please avoid installing the ice maker in a location where the appliance will come in contact with water or moisture
to minimize rusting of metal parts.
3. The ice maker should not be installed near any heat source or in a location where it will come in direct contact with
the sunlight.
REGULAR USE
1. The ice maker should be cleaned on a regular basis.
2. The ice maker is not designed to be installed in an outside area such as a garage or a porch.
Ambient temperatures of below 7°C or above 32°C will hinder the performance of the appliance.

1. Set the main switch to ON
2. Normally put the controller at "MID-HIGH" step.
The evaporator might be frosted if the controller is at the "FREEZE" step and the
refrigerator capability might be decreased.
3. The range of the controller is shown, which is divided into steps of "LOW, MID,
HIGH and FREEZE".
4. The temperature inside the refrigerator goes down if you turn the knob clockwise while the temperature goes up if
you turn it anti-clockwise.
CAUTIONS
• Do not overload the appliance with food as this will influence the cooling process
• Cool the hot food down to room temperature before you put it into the refrigerator.
• Never touch compressor to avoid from scald
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS REGARDING MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the device when not in use.
2. Remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning. Clean the motor unit and the jug separately.
3. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or place it in the dishwasher.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:.
Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the socket.
Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents when cleaning. The appliance must not be cleaned with a
high-pressure cleaner or with a water hose. Use a damp cloth and then dry it.
CLEANING OUTSIDE:
1. Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the display cabinet and then dry it.
CLEANING INSIDE:
1. Remove the racks from the display case to clean them with water.
2. Use a damp cloth to clean the inside of the display cabinet and then dry it.
TO TURN OFF DISPLAY FOR LONG TIME:
1. Remove all food and unplug it.
2. Clean inside and outside of the refrigerator and leave the door open for ventilation to prevent for mold.
3. Clean the condensate tray and wipe it dry.
• Pay attention! Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap).
This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations;
• Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device;
• Always store the appliance inside and keep it dry.
• Before attempting to service the device, make sure that the plug is removed from the mains socket.
NOTE
Following phenomena are not troubles:
• The murmur of water is heard when the refrigerator is working. It is a normal phenomenon as the coolant is
circulating in the system.
• In wet season, condensation might be found on the outside of the refrigerator. It is not a trouble, which is caused by
high humidity. Simply use cloth to wipe it.
If the appliance does not work or is damaged, check the following:
1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
2. Whether the plug and/or the cord is damaged.
If it is nr. 2 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.
According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be separately
collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product please do NOT dispose of
this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE collecting points where available.
