1. Installation Steps

Instructions below include thermostat installation and pairing
toRX1-S V2.
1. Installation must be done by an authorised
electrician.
2. The room thermostat should be installed at approx.
1.5 m above oor and where the eects of sunlight,
draught or other heat sources (eg. TV’s) are avoided,
see g. 1 on page 44.
3. Decide location of RX1-S V2 receiver, ensuring a
minimum space of 30cm from boiler housing. There
must be no large metal objects, such as boiler cases
or other large appliances, in line of sight between the
thermostat and the receiver as this will prevent RF
communication, see g. 1 on page 44.
4. Remove and mount RX1-S V2 back plate direct to wall
or on wall box, and wire as required for application,
see g. 2 on page 44.
5. Locate hooks at top of RX1-S V2 into top of back plate
and lower into position and tighten retaining screw.
Switch on mains power to start RF pairing.
6. Loosen lower retaining screw of thermostat and
carefully remove back plate, see g. 3 on page 44.
7. Insert 2x AA Alkaline batteries to front part taking care
to insert correctly as indicated. Check RF connection
between Thermostat and RX1-S V2 Receiver before
xing in nal position, see 3.1, RF Pairing.

8. Mount back plate direct to wall or on a wall box. The
back plate included within the product packaging
must be used for installation.
9. Locate hooks at top of front part into top of back plate
and lower into position and tighten retaining screw.

3.1 RF Pairing
1. Ensure power to RX1-S V2 receiver is switched on and
batteries are inserted into thermostat.
2. Put the thermostat in pairing mode, see thermostat
installation guide.
3. Press both PROG and CH buttons on RX1-S V2 until
button LEDs ash.
4. If pairing is successful RF icon on thermostat will stop
ashing and remain on.
5. If pairing is not successful try moving thermostat
toalternative position and retry.

3.2 Legacy - RF Pairing
Use this guide when replacing the RF receiver only,
where existing room thermostat is reused.
If both products are changed follow normal pairing
procedure, see 3.1 RF Pairing, page 5.
1. Ensure the power to RX1-S V2 receiver is switched on
and batteries are inserted into the thermostat.
2. Put the thermostat in pairing mode, see thermostat
installation guide.
3. Press and hold the PROG button on the RX1-S V2 until
the PROG button LED (green) turns on.

1. Étapes d’installation
Le guide de l’utilisateur peut être téléchargé sur:
heating.danfoss.com.
Les instructions ci-dessous incluent l’installation du thermostat et
l’appairage à RX1-S V2.
1. L’installation doit être réalisée par un électricien
agréé.
2. Le thermostat d’ambiance doit être installé à environ
1,50m au-dessus du sol et à l’écart du rayonnement
solaire, des courants d’air et d’autres sources de
chaleur ( téléviseurs, etc.) (voir g. 1 à la page 44).
3. Choisissez l’emplacement du récepteur RX1-S V2, en
assurant un espace minimum de 30cm par rapport au
capot métalliquede la chaudière. Il ne peut y avoir de
gros objets métalliques, tels que des enveloppes de
chaudière ou d’autres gros appareils, dans la ligne de
visée du thermostat et du récepteur, car ils risquent
d’empêcher la communication radio (RF) (voir g. 1 à
la page 44).
4. Retirez et montez la plaque arrière RX1-S V2
directement au mur ou sur le boîtier mural et câblez
selon les besoins de l’application.
5. Repérez les crochets au sommet du RX1-S V2 dans
le haut de la plaque arrière, abaissez-les pour les
positionner et serrez la vis de retenue. Activez
l’alimentation secteur pour démarrer l’appairage RF.
6. Desserrez la vis de retenue inférieure du thermostat
et retirez soigneusement la plaque arrière (voir g. 2
à la page 44).

7. Insérez 2 piles alcalines AA dans la partie avant en
prenant soin de les placer correctement, comme
indiqué. Vériez la connexion radio (RF) entre le
thermostat et le récepteur RX1-S V2 avant la xation
en position nale (voir la section Appairage RF ci-
dessous).
8. Montez la plaque arrière directement au mur ou
sur le boîtier mural. La plaque arrière incluse dans
l’emballage du produit doit être utilisée pour
l’installation.
9. Repérez les crochets au sommet dans le haut de la
plaque arrière, abaissez-les pour les positionner et
serrez la vis de retenue.

3.1 Appairage RF (radio)
1. Assurez-vous que le récepteur RX1-S V2 est sous
tension et que les piles sont insérées dans le
thermostat.
2. Mettez le thermostat en mode d’appairage, voir le
guide d’installation du thermostat.
3. Appuyez sur les boutons PROG et CH sur RX1-S V2
jusqu’à ce que les DEL des boutons clignotent.
4. Si l’appairage est réussi, l’icône RF du thermostat
cesse de clignoter et reste allumée.

3.2 Legacy - Appairage RF (radio)
Utilisez ce guide lorsque vous remplacez uniquement
le récepteur RF, où le thermostat d’ambiance existant
est réutilisé. Si les deux produits sont modiés, suivez la
procédure d’appariement normale, voir 3.1 Appairage
RF, voir page 9.
1. Assurez-vous que le récepteur RX1-S V2 est sous
tension et que les piles sont insérées dans le
thermostat.
2. Mettez le thermostat en mode d’appairage, voir le
guide d’installation du thermostat.
3. Maintenez enfoncé le bouton PROG du RX1-S V2
jusqu’à ce que le voyant du bouton PROG (vert)
s’allume.
4. Si l’appairage est réussi, l’icône RF du thermostat
cesse de clignoter et reste allumée.
5. Si l’appairage n’a pas réussi, essayez de déplacer le
thermostat et réessayez.

1. Einbauschritte
Die Bedienungsanleitung kann unter folgender Adresse heruntergeladen
werden: Waerme.danfoss.com.
Die folgenden Anweisungen erläutern die Installation des Thermostaten
und das Herstelln der Verbindung mit dem RX1-S V2
1. Der Einbau muss durch einen autorisierten Elektriker
erfolgen.
2. Der Raumthermostat sollte in ca. 1,5m Höhe und
geschützt vor Sonneneinstrahlung, Zugluft oder anderen
Wärmequellen (z.B. Fernsehgeräten) eingebaut werden,
siehe Abb.1 auf Seite 44.
3. Wählen Sie den Standort des RX1-S V2 Empfängers
und halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 30cm
zum Kesselgehäuse ein. Es dürfen sich keine großen
Metallgegenstände, wie Kesselgehäuse oder andere
große Geräte, in Sichtlinie zwischen Thermostat und
Empfänger benden, da diese die Funkkommunikation
stören, siehe Abb.1 auf Seite 44.
4. Entfernen und montieren Sie die Rückwand des RX1-S
V2 direkt an der Wand oder an der Unterputzdose
und nehmen Sie die für die Anwendung erforderliche
Verdrahtung vor.
5. Setzen Sie die Haken oben am RX1-S V2 in die Oberseite
der Rückwand, senken Sie die Rückwand in Position
und ziehen Sie die Befestigungsschraube fest. Schalten
Sie die Netzspannung ein, um die Funkverbindung
herzustellen.
6. Lösen Sie die untere Befestigungsschraube des
Thermostaten und entfernen Sie vorsichtig die
Rückwand, siehe Abb.2 auf Seite 44.

7. Legen Sie beiden AA-Alkalibatterien in den vorderen Teil
ein und achten Sie darauf, dass sie wie angegeben richtig
eingesetzt werden. Überprüfen Sie die Funkverbindung
zwischen Thermostat und RX1-S V2 Empfänger, bevor Sie
ihn in der Endposition befestigen, siehe Funkverbindung
unten.
8. Befestigen Sie die Rückwand direkt an der Wand oder an
der Unterputzdose. Für die Installation muss die in der
Produktverpackung enthaltene Rückplatte verwendet
werden.
9. Setzen Sie die Haken oben am Vorderteil in die Oberseite
der Rückwand, senken Sie die Rückwand in Position und
ziehen Sie die Befestigungsschraube fest.

3.1 Funkverbindung
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der RX1-S V2 Empfänger
eingeschaltet ist und die Batterien in den Thermostat
eingesetzt sind.
2. Versetzen Sie den Thermostat in den Pairing-Modus,
siehe Installationsanleitung für den Thermostat.
3. Drücken Sie die Tasten PROG und CH am RX1-S V2, bis die
Tasten-LEDs blinken.
4. Wenn die Verbindung hergestellt ist, hört das RF-Symbol
am Thermostat auf zu blinken und bleibt eingeschaltet.
5. Wenn die Verbindung nicht erfolgreich hergestellt wurde,
bringen Sie den Thermostat in eine andere Position und
versuchen Sie es erneut.

3.2 Hinterlassenschaft - Funkverbindung
Verwenden Sie diese Anleitung nur, wenn Sie den
HF-Empfänger austauschen, wenn vorhandenes
Raumthermostat wiederverwendet wird. Wenn beide
Produkte gewechselt werden, folgen Sie dem normalen
Pairing-Verfahren, siehe 3.1 RF-Pairing, siehe Seite 13.
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der RX1-S V2 Empfänger
eingeschaltet ist und die Batterien in den Thermostat
eingesetzt sind.
2. Versetzen Sie den Thermostat in den Pairing-Modus,
siehe Installationsanleitung für den Thermostat.
3. Halten Sie die PROG-Taste am RX1-S V2 gedrückt, bis die

Onderstaande instructies omvatten de installatie van de thermostaat en
de koppeling met de RX1-S V2
1. De installatie moet door een erkend installateur
worden uitgevoerd.
2. De kamerthermostaat moet ongeveer 1,5 m boven de
vloer worden geïnstalleerd, op een locatie uit de buurt
van zonlicht, tocht en warmtebronnen (bijv. tv’s); zie g.
1 op pagina 44.
3. Bepaal de locatie voor de RX1-S V2 ontvanger en
zorg daarbij voor een minimale afstand van 30 cm
tot de ketelbehuizing. Er mogen geen grote metalen
voorwerpen, zoals ketelbehuizingen of andere grote
apparaten, in het gezichtsveld tussen de thermostaat
en de ontvanger aanwezig zijn, aangezien de RF-
communicatie daardoor wordt belemmerd; zie g. 1 op
pagina 44.
4. Verwijder de RX1-S V2 achterplaat en monteer die
rechtstreeks op de wand of op een wanddoos en voer
de voor de toepassing vereiste bedrading uit.
5. Plaats de haken boven op de RX1-S V2 in de bovenzijde
van de achterplaat, laat die in positie zakken en draai
de borgschroef vast. Schakel de netvoeding in om de
RF-koppeling te starten.
6. Draai de onderste borgschroef van de thermostaat los
en verwijder voorzichtig de achterplaat; zie g. 2 op
pagina 44.

7. Plaats 2 AA-alkalinebatterijen aan de voorzijde van
het apparaat, zoals aangegeven. Controleer de RF-
verbinding tussen de thermostaat en de RX1-S V2
ontvanger voordat u de thermostaat op de denitieve
locatie bevestigt; zie RF-koppeling hieronder.
8. Monteer de achterplaat rechtstreeks op de wand
of op een wanddoos. De achterplaat die bij de
productverpakking zit, moet voor de installatie worden
gebruikt.
9. Plaats de haken boven op het frontje in de bovenzijde
van de achterplaat, laat die in positie zakken en draai de
borgschroef vast.

3.1 RF-koppeling
1. Verzeker u ervan dat de RX1-S V2 ontvanger is
ingeschakeld en dat de batterijen in de thermostaat
zijn geplaatst.
2. Zet de thermostaat in de koppelingsmodus, zie
thermostaatinstallatiehandleiding.
3. Houd de knoppen PROG en CH op de RX1-S V2
ingedrukt totdat de leds in de knoppen knipperen.
4. Als het koppelen is gelukt, stopt het RF-pictogram op
de thermostaat met knipperen en blijft het branden.
5. Is het koppelen mislukt? Verplaats de thermostaat dan
naar een andere locatie en probeer het opnieuw.

3.2 Nalatenschap - RF-koppeling
Gebruik deze handleiding alleen bij het vervangen van
de RF-ontvanger, waar de bestaande kamerthermostaat
opnieuw wordt gebruikt. Als beide producten volgens de
normale koppelingsprocedure worden gewijzigd, zie 3.1
RF-koppeling, zie pagina 17.
1. Verzeker u ervan dat de RX1-S V2 ontvanger is
ingeschakeld en dat de batterijen in de thermostaat
zijn geplaatst.
2. Zet de thermostaat in de koppelingsmodus, zie
thermostaatinstallatiehandleiding.

1. Installationstrin
Brugervejledningen kan downloades fra: varme.danfoss.dk.
Instruktionerne nedenfor omfatter installation af termostat og
parring til RX1-S V2.
1. Installationen skal udføres af en autoriseret
elektriker.
2. Rumtermostaten skal monteres ca. 1,5 m over gulvet
og et sted, hvor påvirkninger fra sollys, træk eller
andre varmekilder (f.eks. et tv-apparat) undgås. Se
g. 1 på side 44.
3. Fastslå RX1-S V2-modtagerens placering, idet der
sikres en minimumsafstand på 30 cm fra kedelhuset.
Der må ikke være store metalgenstande,
ekasempelvis en kedel eller andre store apparater,
i sigtelinjen mellem termostaten og modtageren,
da det vil forhindre RF-kommunikation. Se g. 1 på
side 44.
4. Fjern og montér RX1-S V2-bagpladen direkte på
væggen eller i en vægboks, og før ledningerne som
påkrævet til applikationen.
5. Placér kroge øverst på RX1-S V2 og ind på
bagpladens top, og sænk dem ned i position, og
spænd holdeskruen. Tænd for netstrømmen for at
starte RF-parringen.
6. Løsn den nedre holdeskrue på termostaten, og ern
forsigtigt bagpladen. Se g. 2 på side 44.
7. Isæt 2 x alkaliske AA-batterier i den forreste del,
og vær opmærksom på at isætte dem korrekt
som angivet. Kontrollér RF-forbindelsen mellem

1. Procedimiento de instalación
La guía del usuario se puede descargar desde la página www.heating.
danfoss.com.En las siguientes instrucciones se detallan los procesos de
instalación del termostato y su conexión con el RX1-S V2.
1. La instalación debe ser realizada por un electricista
autorizado.
2. El termostato de ambiente debe instalarse
aproximadamente a 1,5m del suelo, en un lugar donde
no sufra los efectos de la luz solar, las corrientes de aire
u otras fuentes de calor (p.ej., un televisor) (g.1 en la
página 44).
3. Decida la ubicación del receptor RX1-S V2, dejando
libre un espacio mínimo de 30cm desde la cubierta de
la caldera. No debe haber objetos metálicos de gran
tamaño a la vista entre el termostato y el receptor,
como por ejemplo la cubierta de una caldera u otros
electrodomésticos grandes, ya que impedirían la
comunicación mediante RF entre ambos (consulte la
g.1 en la página 44).
4. Extraiga la placa posterior del RX1-S V2 para instalarla
directamente en la pared, o en una caja de montaje en
pared, y conecte los cables según corresponda para
laaplicación.
5. Coloque los ganchos de la parte superior del RX1-S V2
sobre la parte superior de la placa posterior, bájelos
hasta su posición y apriete el tornillo de retención.
Conecte la alimentación de red eléctrica para iniciar la
conexión RF.
6. Aoje el tornillo de retención inferior del termostato y
retire con cuidado la placa posterior (g.2 en la página 44).

7. Con cuidado, coloque del modo indicado dos pilas
alcalinas AA en la parte delantera. Compruebe la
conexión RF entre el termostato y el receptor RX1-S V2
antes de jarlo en su ubicación denitiva; consulte el
apartado «Conexión RF».
8. Fije la placa posterior directamente a la pared o a una
caja de montaje en pared. Para la instalación debe
utilizarse la placa trasera incluida en el embalaje del
producto.
9. Coloque los ganchos de la parte superior del frontal
sobre la parte superior de la placa posterior, bájelos
hasta su posición y apriete el tornillo de retención.

3.1 Conexión RF
1. Asegúrese de que el receptor RX1-S V2 esté conectado
y el termostato tenga pilas.
2. Ponga el termostato en modo de emparejamiento,
consulte la guía de instalación del termostato.
3. Pulse los botones «PROG» y «CH» del RX1-S V2 hasta
que parpadeen los LED de los botones.
4. Si la conexión es correcta, el icono de RF del termostato
dejará de parpadear para permanecer encendido.
5. Si la conexión no funciona correctamente, pruebe
a colocar el termostato en otra parte e inténtelo de
nuevo.

3.2 Legado - Conexión RF
Utilice esta guía cuando reemplace solo el receptor
de RF, donde se reutiliza el termostato de ambiente
existente. Si se cambian ambos productos siguiendo el
procedimiento normal de emparejamiento, consulte 3.1
Emparejamiento RF, consulte la página 25.
1. Asegúrese de que el receptor RX1-S V2 esté conectado
y el termostato tenga pilas.
2. Ponga el termostato en modo de emparejamiento,
consulte la guía de instalación del termostato.
3. Mantén pulsado el botón PROG de la RX1-S V2 hasta
que se encienda el LED del botón PROG (verde).
4. Si la conexión es correcta, el icono de RF del termostato
dejará de parpadear para permanecer encendido.
5. Si la conexión no funciona correctamente, pruebe
a colocar el termostato en otra parte e inténtelo de
nuevo.

1. Passaggi per l’installazione
La guida all’uso può essere scaricata da: heating.danfoss.com.
Le istruzioni riportate di seguito includono l’installazione del
termostato e l’accoppiamento con RX1-S V2
1. L’installazione deve essere eseguita da un
elettricista autorizzato.
2. Il termostato ambiente deve essere installato a circa
1,5 m dal pavimento e dove gli eetti della luce solare,
delle correnti d’aria o di altre fonti di calore (es. TV)
non sono presenti, vedere g. 1 a pagina 44.
3. Decidere la posizione del ricevitore RX1-S
V2, assicurando uno spazio minimo di 30 cm
dall’alloggiamento della caldaia. Accertarsi che non
siano presenti oggetti metallici di grandi dimensioni,
come ad esempio le casse delle caldaie o altri grandi
elettrodomestici, frapposti tra il termostato e il
ricevitore, in quanto ciò impedisce la comunicazione
RF, vedere g. 1 a pagina 44.
4. Rimuovere e montare la piastra posteriore RX1-S
V2 direttamente alla parete o sulla scatola a muro e
cablare come richiesto per l’applicazione.
5. Individuare i ganci in cima alla piastra RX1-S V2 nella
parte in alto della piastra posteriore e abbassarli
in posizione, quindi serrare la vite di ssaggio.
Accendere l’alimentazione di rete per avviare
l’accoppiamento RF.
6. Allentare la vite di ssaggio inferiore del termostato e
rimuovere con cautela la piastra posteriore, vedere g.
2 a pagina 44.

7. Inserire due batterie alcaline AA nella parte anteriore
facendo attenzione a inserirle correttamente come
indicato. Controllare il collegamento RF tra il
termostato e il ricevitore RX1-S V2 prima di ssarlo in
posizione nale, vedere Accoppiamento RF di seguito.
8. Montare la piastra posteriore direttamente sulla
parete o sulla scatola a muro. Per l’installazione è
necessario utilizzare la piastra posteriore inclusa nella
confezione del prodotto.
9. Individuare i ganci nella parte superiore della parte
anteriore della piastra posteriore e abbassarli in
posizione, quindi serrare la vite di ssaggio.

3.1 Accoppiamento RF

3.2 Legacy - Accoppiamento RF
Utilizzare questa guida quando si sostituisce solo
il ricevitore RF, dove viene riutilizzato il termostato
ambiente esistente. Se entrambi i prodotti vengono
modicati, seguire la normale procedura di associazione,
vedere 3.1 RF Pairing, vedere pagina 29.

Naudotojo vadovą galite atsisiųsti iš danfoss.lt.
Toliau instrukcijose pateikiamas termostato montavimas ir
susiejimas su RX1-S V2
1. Montavimą atlikti privalo įgaliotasis elektrikas.
2. Kambario termostatą montuoti reikia maždaug
1,5m. aukštyje. Montavimo vietos negali veikti
saulės spinduliai, skersvėjis ar kiti šilumos šaltiniai
(pvz., televizorius), žr. 1 pav nuo 44 psl.
3. Nuspręskite dėl RX1-S V2 imtuvo vietos, užtikrindami
minimalų 30 cm atstumą nuo šildymo katilo
korpuso. Tarp termostato ir imtuvo neturi būti jokių
didelių metalinių daiktų, tokių kaip šildymo katilo
korpusas ar kiti stambūs įrenginiai. Jie gali pakenkti
RF ryšiui, žr. 1 pav nuo 44 psl.
4. Nuimkite ir sumontuokite RX1-S V2 galinę plokštę
tiesiai ant sienos arba ant sieninės dėžutės ir
sujunkite laidus pagal taikymo tipą.
5. Įdėkite ant RX1-S V2 viršaus esančius kabliukus
galinės plokštės viršuje ir nuleiskite įstatydami juos į
vietą, tada pritvirtinkite laikančiuoju varžtu. Įjunkite
elektros maitinimą, kad pradėtumėte RF susiejimą.
6. Atsukite apatinį termostato laikantįjį varžtą ir
atsargiai nuimkite galinę plokštę, žr. 2 pav nuo 44
psl.
7. Rūpestingai, kaip nurodyta, įdėkite 2 x AA šarmines
baterijas į priekinę dalį. Patikrinkite RF ryšį tarp
termostato ir RX1-S V2 imtuvo prieš užksuodami

galutinėje padėtyje, žr. RF susiejimą toliau.
8. Montuokite galinę plokštę tiesiai prie sienos arba
prie sieninės dėžės. Montuojant reikia naudoti galinę
plokštę, esančią gaminio pakuotėje
9. Įdėkite ant priekinės dalies viršaus esančius
kabliukus galinės plokštės viršuje ir nuleiskite
įstatydami juos į vietą, tada pritvirtinkite
laikančiuoju varžtu.

3.1 RF susiejimas
1. Įsitikinkite, kad įjungtas RX1-S V2 imtuvo maitinimas
ir į termostatą įdėtos baterijos.
2. Įjunkite termostatą į poravimo režimą, žiūrėkite
termostato montavimo vadovą.
3. Paspauskite RX1-S V2 mygtukus PROG ir CH, kol
sumirksės šviesos diodo mygtukas.
4. Jei susiejimas sėkmingas, termostato RF piktograma
nustos mirksėti ir švies ištisai.
5. Jei susieti nepavyko, pabandykite perkelti
termostatą į alternatyvią vietą ir pabandykite susieti
iš naujo.

3.2 Palikimas - RF susiejimas
Naudokite šį vadovą keisdami tik RF imtuvą, kai
pakartotinai naudojamas esamas kambario termostatas.
Jei abu produktai keičiami pagal įprastą susiejimo
procedūrą (žr. 3.1 RF susiejimas), žr. 38 psl.
1. Įsitikinkite, kad įjungtas RX1-S V2 imtuvo maitinimas ir
į termostatą įdėtos baterijos.
2. Įjunkite termostatą į poravimo režimą, žiūrėkite
termostato montavimo vadovą.
3. Paspauskite ir palaikykite RX1-S V2 mygtuką PROG, kol
įsijungs PROG mygtuko šviesos diodas (žalias).
4. Jei susiejimas sėkmingas, termostato RF piktograma
nustos mirksėti ir švies ištisai.
5. Jei susieti nepavyko, pabandykite perkelti termostatą į
alternatyvią vietą ir pabandykite susieti iš naujo.
