1. VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE
Lees zorgvuldig de meegeleverde instructies voor
installatie en gebruik van het apparaat. De fabrikant is
niet verantwoordelijk voor letsel en schade veroorzaakt
door een foutieve installatie. Bewaar de instructies van
het apparaat voor toekomstig gebruik.
1.1 Veiligheid van kinderen en kwetsbare mensen
• Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8
jaar en ouder en door mensen met beperkte
lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke vermogens
of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, indien zij onder
toezicht staan of instructies hebben gekregen over het
veilig gebruiken van het apparaat en indien zij de
eventuele gevaren begrijpen.
• Laat kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.
• Houd kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar uit de buurt of onder
permanent toezicht.
• Houd alle verpakkingsmaterialen uit de buurt van
kinderen.
• Houd alle reinigingsmiddelen uit de buurt van
kinderen.
• Houd kinderen en huisdieren uit de buurt van het
apparaat als de deur open is.
• Als het apparaat is uitgerust met een
kinderbeveiliging, raden wij aan dit te activeren.
• Reiniging en onderhoud mag niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen zonder toezicht.
1.2
Algemene veiligheid
•
De specificatie van het apparaat mag niet worden
veranderd.
• Respecteer het maximale laadvermogen van 7 kg
(raadpleeg hoofdstuk “Programmaschema”).
• De waterdruk (minimaal en maximaal) moet liggen
tussen 0,5 bar (0,05 MPa) en 8 bar (0,8 MPa)

• De ventilatie-openingen in de onderkant (indien van
toepassing) mogen niet worden afgedekt door tapijt.
• Het apparaat moet met de nieuwe slangset worden
aangesloten op een kraan. Oude slangsets mogen
niet opnieuw worden gebruikt.
• Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet de
fabrikant, een erkende serviceverlener of een
gekwalificeerd persoon deze vervangen teneinde
gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
• Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het
stopcontact voordat u onderhoudshandelingen
verricht.
• Gebruik geen waterstralen of stoom om het apparaat
te reinigen.
• Maak het apparaat schoon met een vochtige, zachte
doek. Gebruik alleen neutrale schoonmaakmiddelen.
Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen, schuursponsjes,
oplosmiddelen of metalen voorwerpen.
2. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
2.1 Installatie
• Verwijder de verpakking en de
transportbouten.
• Bewaar de transportbouten. Als u het
apparaat gaat verplaatsen, moet de
trommel worden geblokkeerd.
• Wees voorzichtig met het verplaatsen
van het apparaat, het is zwaar. Draag
altijd veiligheidshandschoenen.
• Installeer en gebruik geen
beschadigd apparaat.
• Volg de installatie-instructies op die
zijn meegeleverd met het apparaat.
• Gebruik of installeer het apparaat niet
als de temperatuur lager is dan 0 °C
of als het is blootgesteld aan het
weer.
• Zorg ervoor dat de vloer van de plaats
waar u het apparaat installeert, vlak,
stabiel, hittebestendig en schoon is.
• Zorg dat er lucht tussen het apparaat
en de vloer kan circuleren.
• Pas de stelvoeten aan om de nodige
ruimte tussen het apparaat en de
vloerbedekking te creëren.
• Plaats het apparaat niet op een plek
waar de deur niet helemaal open kan.
2.2 Aansluiting aan het
elektriciteitsnet
• Dit apparaat moet worden
aangesloten op een geaard
stopcontact.
• Gebruik altijd een correct ge?
stalleerd, schokbestendig
stopcontact.
• Controleer of de elektrische
informatie op het typeplaatje
overeenkomt met de
stroomvoorziening. Zo niet, neem dan
contact op met een elektromonteur.
• Gebruik geen meerwegstekkers en
verlengsnoeren.
• Zorg dat u de hoofdstekker en kabel
niet beschadigt. Indien de
voedingskabel moet worden
vervangen, dan moet dit gebeuren
door onze Klantenservice.
• Steek de stekker pas in het
stopcontact als de installatie is

voltooid. Zorg ervoor dat het
netsnoer na installatie bereikbaar is.
• Raak de stroomkabel of stekker niet
aan met natte handen.
• Trek niet aan het netsnoer om het
apparaat los te koppelen. Trek altijd
aan de stekker.
• Alleen voor het VK en Ierland: Het
apparaat heeft een 13 amp. stekker.
Als het noodzakelijk is om de zekering
in de stekker te verwisselen, gebruik
dan een 13 amp. ASTA (BS1362)
zekering.
• Dit apparaat voldoet aan de EU-
richtlijnen.
2.3 Aansluiting aan de
waterleiding
• Zorg dat u de waterslangen niet
beschadigt.
• Laat het water stromen tot het schoon
is voordat u het apparaat aansluit op
nieuwe leidingen of leidingen die
lang niet zijn gebruikt.
• Zorg dat er geen lekkages zijn als u
het apparaat de eerste keer gebruikt.
2.4 Gebruik
WAARSCHUWING!

• Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend in
een huishoudelijke omgeving.
• Volg de veiligheidsinstructies op de
verpakking van het vaatwasmiddel op.
• Plaats geen ontvlambare producten
of items die vochtig zijn door
ontvlambare producten in, bij of op
het apparaat.
• Zorg dat u alle metalen onderdelen
uit het wasgoed verwijdert.
• Plaats geen bak om mogelijke
waterlekkage op te vangen onder het
apparaat. Neem contact op met de
servicedienst om te raadplegen welke
accessoires gebruikt mogen worden.
• Raak het glas van de deur niet aan als
een programma in werking is. Het
glas kan heet worden.
2.5 Verwijdering

• Snij het netsnoer van het apparaat af
en gooi dit weg.
• Verwijder de deurgreep om te
voorkomen dat kinderen en

van het wasgoed.

Om kreuken in het wasgoed te beperken, regelt deze cyclus de watertemperatuur en voert een zachte
wasbeurt en centrifugeerfase uit. Het apparaat voegt extra spoelgangen toe.
2)
Tijdens deze cyclus draait de trommel zeer traag. Het kan lijken of de trommel niet draait of niet goed
draait. Dit is normaal gedrag van het apparaat.
3)
Stel de centrifugeersnelheid in. Zorg ervoor dat het geschikt is voor het soort wasgoed. Als u de optie
Niet centrifugeren instelt, is de enige afvoerfase beschikbaar.
4)
Dit programma is voor dagelijks gebruik en heeft het laagste energie- en waterverbruik voor goede
wasprestaties.

Standaardprogramma's voor de Energielabel verbruikswaarden. Volgens de regelgeving
1061/2010 zijn deze programma's respectievelijk het “standaard 60°C katoenprogramma” en het “stand-
aard 40°C katoenprogramma”. Dit zijn de meest efficiënte programma's qua elektriciteits- en waterver-
bruik bij het wassen van normaal vervuild katoenen wasgoed.
De watertemperatuur van de wasfase kan verschillen van de temperatuur die is aangeg-
even voor het geselecteerde programma.

Als u een stoomprogramma instelt met gedroogde was, zal de was aan het eind van de cyclus vochtig
aanvoelen. Het is beter om de kleren ongeveer 10 minuten in de frisse lucht te drogen om de vochtig-
heid te laten verdampen. Voor optimaal resultaat dient u het wasgoed na afloop van het programma me-
teen uit de trommel te halen. Na een stoomcyclus kunt u de items toch nog strijken, maar dan uiteraard
met veel minder moeite!

5.2 Woolmark-certificaat
De wolwascyclus van de machine is
goedgekeurd door Woolmark voor het
wassen van Woolmark producten die in
de machine gewassen kunnen worden,
onder voorwaarde dat de kledingstukken
worden gewassen volgens de instructies
op het label in het kledingstuk en die van
de fabrikant van deze wasmachine

6. VERBRUIKSWAARDEN
De gegevens van deze tabel zijn gemiddelden. Verschillende oorzaken
kunnen de gegevens wijzigen: de hoeveelheid en het type wasgoed, het
water en de omgevingstemperatuur.

Bij start van het programma toont het display de programmaduur voor
de maximale laadcapaciteit.
Tijdens de wasfase wordt de programmaduur automatisch berekend en
deze kan flink worden verlaagd als de wasgoedlading lager is dan de
maximale laadcapaciteit (bijv. katoen 60°C, maximale laadcapaciteit 7
kg, de programmaduur is langer dan 2 uur, lading 1 kg, de programma-
duur is nog geen uur).
Als het apparaat de echte programmaduur berekent, knippert er een
punt in het display.

7. INSTELLINGEN
7.1 Geluidssignalen
De geluidssignalen weerklinken wanneer:
• U het apparaat inschakelt
• U het apparaat uitschakelt
• U op een toets drukt.
• Het programma is voltooid
• Er een storing in het apparaat
optreedt.
Voor het uitschakelen/inschakelen van
de geluidssignalen, drukt u tegelijkertijd
op Vlekken - Taches en Extra Spoelen -
Rinçage + gedurende 6 seconden.
Als u de geluidssignalen
uitschakelt, werken ze wel
als er een storing optreedt.
7.2 Kinderslot
Met deze optie kunt u voorkomen dat
kinderen met het bedieningspaneel
spelen.
• Voor het inschakelen/uitschakelen
van deze optie, drukt u tegelijkertijd
op Temp.°C en T/min. tot het
indicatielampje aan/uit gaat.
U kunt deze optie inschakelen:
• Nadat u op Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause heeft gedrukt: worden de
opties en de programmaknop
vergrendeld.
• Voordat u op Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause heeft gedrukt: kan het apparaat
niet starten.
7.3 Permanent extra spoelen
Met deze optie kunt bij elke programma
automatisch een extra spoelbeurt
instellen.
• Voor het inschakelen/uitschakelen
van deze optie, drukt u tegelijkertijd
opTijd Besparen - Gain de Temps en
Startuitstel - Départ Différé tot het
indicatielampje Extra Spoelen -
Rinçage+ aan/uit gaat.
8. OPTIES
8.1 Programmaknop
Draai deze knop om een programma in
te stellen. Het bijbehorende programma-
indicatielampje gaat branden.
8.2 Start/Pauze - Départ/Pause
Druk op toets Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause om het programma te starten of te
onderbreken.
8.3 Startuitstel - Départ
Différé
Met deze optie kunt u de start van een
programma uitstellen van 30 minuten tot
20 uur.
Op de display verschijnt de
bijbehorende indicatie en uitsteltijd.
8.4 Tijd Besparen - Gain de
Temps
Met deze optie kunt u de
programmaduur inkorten.
• Eenmaal drukken om 'Verkorte duur'
in te stellen voor voorwerpen met
dagelijks vuil.
• Druk twee keer voor het instellen van
een extra snel programma voor
wasgoed dat bijna niet vuil is.
Sommige programma's
accepteren alleen één van
de twee opties.
8.5 Extra Spoelen - Rinçage+
Met deze optie kunt u spoelingen
toevoegen aan een wasprogramma.
Gebruik deze optie voor personen die
allergisch zijn voor wasmiddelen en in
gebieden waar het water erg zacht is.

8.6 Vlekken - Taches
Stel deze optie in om de vlekkenfase toe
te voegen aan een programma.
Gebruik deze optie voor wasgoed met
vlekken die moeilijk te verwijderen zijn.
Als u deze functie instelt, doet u
vlekkenverwijderaar in het vakje
.
Deze optie verlengt de duur
van het programma.
Deze optie is niet
beschikbaar bij een
temperatuur lager dan 40

8.7 T./min
Met deze optie kunt u de
standaardcentrifugeersnelheid verlagen.
Het indicatielampje van de ingestelde

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
1. Giet 2 liter water in het

3. Stel het programma voor katoen in
op de hoogste temperatuur zonder
wasgoed en start het programma.
Dit verwijdert al het mogelijke vuil uit de
trommel en de kuip.

• Op het display verschijnt: de
standaard temperatuur, de
centrifugesnelheid, de
indicatielampjes van de
programmafasen en de
programmaduur.
2. Indien nodig, wijzig de temperatuur,
de centrifugeersnelheid, de
cyclusduur of voeg extra opties toe.
Als u een optie activeert, gaat het
indicatielampje van de ingestelde
optie branden.
Als u iets niet goed instelt,
toont het display de melding
Err.
10.6 Een programma starten
zonder een uitgestelde start
Druk op toets Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause om het programma te starten.
Het bijbehorende indicatielampje stopt
met knipperen en blijft branden.
Op het display gaat de aanduiding van
de werkende fase knipperen.
Het programma start en de deur wordt
vergrendeld. Op het display verschijnt
het symbool .
De afvoerpomp kan even
werken als het apparaat
gevuld wordt met water.
10.7 Gedrag van het apparaat
Na ongeveer 15 minuten na
de start van het programma:
• Het apparaat past de
cyclustijd automatisch
aan op het wasgoed dat
u in de trommel hebt
gedaan, voor perfecte
wasresultaten binnen een
minimaal benodigde tijd.
• Op de display verschijnt
de nieuwe tijdwaarde.
10.8 Een programma starten
met een uitgestelde start
1. Druk herhaaldelijk op toets
Startuitstel - Départ Différé tot het
aantal minuten of uren op de display
verschijnt.
Het bijbehorende indicatielampje gaat
branden.
2. Als u op de toets Start/Pauze -
Départ/Pause drukt:
Het aftellen van de uitgestelde start
wordt op het display weergegeven.
Nadat het aftelproces voltooid is, wordt
het wasprogramma automatisch gestart.
Voordat u op toets Start/
Pauze - Départ/Pause drukt
om het apparaat te starten,
kunt u de instelling van de
uitgestelde start annuleren
of wijzigen.

10.11 Een actief programma
annuleren
1. Druk op toets Aan/Uit - Marche/Arrêt
om het programma te annuleren en
om het apparaat uit te schakelen.
2. Druk opnieuw op toets Aan/Uit -
Marche/Arrêt om het apparaat in te
schakelen.
U kunt nu een nieuw wasprogramma
kiezen.
Het apparaat voert het water
af voordat u een nieuw
programma start. Zorg er in
dit geval voor dat het
wasmiddel nog in het
doseerbakje zit, zo niet vul
het dan bij.
10.12 De deur openen
Als de temperatuur en het
waterniveau in de trommel
te hoog zijn en de trommel
nog draait, kunt u de deur
niet openen.
Als een programma of het startuitstel in
werking is, is de deur van de wasmachine
vergrendeld.
1. Als u op de toets Start/Pauze -
Départ/Pause drukt:
Op het display gaat het indicatielampje
van de deurvergrendeling uit.
2. Open de deur van het apparaat.
3. Sluit de deur en druk op toets Start/
Pauze - Départ/Pause.
Het programma of startuitstel gaat
verder.
10.13 Einde programma
Wanneer het programma is voltooid,
stopt het apparaat automatisch. Als het
geluidssignaal actief is, weerklinkt het
signaal.
Op het display gaat
aan en het
indicatielampje deur vergrendeld
gaat uit.
Het lampje van toets Start/Pauze -
Départ/Pause gaat uit.
1. Druk op toets Aan/Uit - Marche/Arrêt
om het apparaat uit te schakelen.
Vijf minuten na afloop van het

U moet het water afvoeren om de deur
te kunnen openen:
1. De centrifugeersnelheid zo nodig
verlagen.
2. Druk op de knop Start/Pauze -
Départ/Pause.
Het apparaat voert het water af en
centrifugeert.
3. Als het programma is voltooid, gaat
het deurvergrendelingssymbool
uit en kunt u de deur openen.
4. Druk een paar seconden op Aan/Uit -
Marche/Arrêt om het apparaat uit te
schakelen.
Na ongeveer 18 uur begint
het apparaat automatisch
met het afvoeren van water
en centrifugeren.
10.15 AUTO Stand-by-optie
De AUTO Stand-by-optie schakelt het
apparaat automatisch uit om stroom te
besparen als:
• Het apparaat is 5 minuten voordat u
op de knop Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause drukt niet gebruikt.
Druk opnieuw op de toets Aan/Uit -
Marche/Arrêt om het apparaat in te
schakelen.
• 5 minuten na afloop van het
wasprogramma
Druk opnieuw op de toets Aan/Uit -
Marche/Arrêt om het apparaat in te
schakelen.
De tijd van het laatst ingestelde
programma wordt weergegeven op
het display
Draai aan de programmaknop om
een nieuwe cyclus in te stellen.
11. AANWIJZINGEN EN TIPS
WAARSCHUWING!
Raadpleeg de hoofdstukken
Veiligheid.
11.1 Voor u het wasgoed in de
trommel doet
• Verdeel het wasgoed in: wit, bont,
synthetisch, fijne was en wol.
• Volg de wasinstructies die u op de
waslabels van het wasgoed vindt.
• Was witte en bonte artikelen niet
samen.
• Sommige bonte weefsels kunnen
uitlopen als zij de eerste keer worden
gewassen. We raden daarom aan om
dit soort kleding de eerste keer dan
ook apart te wassen.
• Knoop kussenslopen dicht, sluit ritsen,
haakjes en drukknopen. Rol riemen
op.
• Maak alle zakken leeg en vouw alle
artikelen open.
• Draai meerlagige stoffen, wollen en
kleding met geverfde opdrukken
binnenstebuiten.
• Verwijder hardnekkige vlekken.
• Was delen met zware vervuiling met
een speciaal wasmiddel.
• Wees voorzichtig met gordijnen.
Verwijder de haken of stop de
gordijnen in een zak of kussensloop.
• Was geen wasgoed in het apparaat
zonder zomen of met scheuren.
Gebruik een waszakje om kleine items
te wassen (Bijv. beugelbh's, riemen,
panty's, etc.).
• Een zeer kleine lading kan problemen
veroorzaken bij de centrifugefase. Als
dit gebeurt, kunt u de artikelen
handmatig verdelen in de trommel en
de centrifugefase opnieuw starten.
11.2 Hardnekkige vlekken
Voor sommige vlekken is water en
wasmiddel niet voldoende.
We raden u aan om deze vlekken te
verwijderen voordat u deze artikelen in
de machine stopt.
Er zijn speciale vlekverwijderaars
verkrijgbaar. Gebruik een speciale
vlekverwijderaar die geschikt is voor het
type vlek en stof.

11.3 Wasmiddelen en
nabehandelingsmiddelen
• Gebruik alleen wasmiddelen en
nabehandelingsproducten die
bedoeld zijn voor gebruik in een
wasautomaat:
– waspoeder voor alle soorten
weefsels,
– waspoeder voor delicate stoffen
(40 °C max) en wol,
– vloeibare wasmiddelen, bij
voorkeur voor wasprogramma's
op lage temperatuur (60 °C max.)
voor alle soorten weefsels, of
speciaal voor alleen wol.
• Vermeng geen verschillende soorten
wasmiddel met elkaar.
• Gebruik niet meer dan de benodigde
hoeveelheid wasmiddel om het milieu
te beschermen.
• Volg altijd de instructies die u vindt
op de verpakking van deze
producten.
• Gebruik de juiste producten voor het
type en de kleur stof, de
programmatemperatuur en de mate
van vervuiling.
• Als uw machine geen
wasmiddeldoseerbakje heeft met
klepje, voeg dan het vloeibare
wasmiddel toe met een doseerbol
(meegeleverd bij het wasmiddel).
11.4 Milieutips
• Stel een programma in zonder de
voorwasfase om wasgoed dat
normaal vervuild is te wassen.
• Start een wasprogramma altijd met
de maximum hoeveelheid wasgoed.
• Gebruik indien nodig een
vlekkenverwijderaar als u een
programma met een lage
temperatuur instelt.
• Controleer de waterhardheid van uw
plaatselijke systeem om de juiste
hoeveelheid wasmiddel te gebruiken
11.5 Waterhardheid
Als de waterhardheid in uw gebied hoog
of gemiddeld is, raden we u het gebruik
van waterverzachter voor wasautomaten
aan. In gebieden waar de waterhardheid
zacht is, is het gebruik van een
waterverzachter niet nodig.
Neem contact op met het plaatselijke
waterleidingbedrijf voor de
waterhardheid in uw gebied.
Gebruik de juiste hoeveelheid van de
waterverzachter. Volg altijd de instructies
die u vindt op de verpakking van het
product.
12.
ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING
WAARSCHUWING!

12.1 Buitenkant reinigen
Het apparaat alleen schoonmaken met
zeep en warm water. Maak alle
oppervlakken volledig droog.
LET OP!
Gebruik geen brandspiritus,
oplosmiddelen of chemische
producten.
12.2 Ontkalken
Als de waterhardheid in uw gebied hoog
of gemiddeld is, raden we u het gebruik
van waterontharder voor wasautomaten
aan.
Controleer de trommel regelmatig om
kalk en roestdeeltjes te voorkomen.
Gebruik alleen speciale producten voor
wasmachines om roestdeeltjes te
verwijderen. Doe dit apart van het
wassen van wasgoed.
Volg altijd de instructies die
u vindt op de verpakking van
het product.
12.3 Onderhoudswasbeurt
Bij programma's met lage temperaturen
is het mogelijk dat er wat wasmiddel
achterblijft in de trommel. Voer

regelmatig een onderhoudswas uit. Om
dit te doen:
• Haal al het wasgoed uit de trommel.
• Stel het katoenprogramma in met de
hoogste temperatuur met een kleine
hoeveelheid wasmiddel.
12.4 Deurrubber
Controleer het deurrubber regelmatig en
verwijder voorwerpen uit de binnenkant.

door een storing.

afvoersysteem opnieuw te activeren:

12.9 Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij
vorst
Als het apparaat is geïnstalleerd in een
gebied waar de temperatuur lager is dan
0° C, dan dient u het resterende water uit
de afvoerslang en de afvoerpomp te
verwijderen.
1. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Draai de waterkraan dicht.
3. Plaats de twee uiteinden van de
toevoerslang in een bak en laat het
water uit de slang stromen.
4. Leeg de afvoerpomp. Raadpleeg de
noodafvoerprocedure.
5. Als de afvoerpomp leeg is, installeert
u de toevoerslang opnieuw.
WAARSCHUWING!
Zorg ervoor dat de
temperatuur hoger is dan 0
°C voordat u het apparaat
opnieuw gebruikt.
De fabrikant is niet
verantwoordelijk voor
schade die door lage
temperaturen is veroorzaakt.
13. PROBLEEMOPLOSSING
WAARSCHUWING!

13.1 Introductie
Het apparaat start niet of stopt niet
tijdens de werking.
Probeer eerst het probleem zelf op te
lossen (zie tabel). Neem indien dit niet
lukt contact op met de Servicedienst.
Bij sommige problemen werken de
geluidssignalen en toont de display
een alarmcode:
• - Het apparaat wordt niet goed
gevuld met water.
• - Het apparaat pompt geen
water weg.
• - De deur is open of niet goed
gesloten. Controleer de deur!
• - De stroomtoevoer is onstabiel.
Wacht tot de stroomtoevoer stabiel is.
•
- Het beschermingssysteem
tegen waterlekkage is in werking
getreden. Koppel het apparaat los en
draai de waterkraan dicht. Neem
contact op met de klantenservice.
WAARSCHUWING!
Schakel het apparaat uit
voordat u controles uitvoert.
13.2 Mogelijke storingen

Zorg ervoor dat de filter van de toevoerslang en de filter van
de klep niet verstopt zijn. Zie het hoofdstuk "Onderhoud en
reiniging".
Controleer of er geen knikken of bochten in de watertoevoer-
slang aanwezig zijn.
Zorg ervoor dat de positie van de watertoevoerslang correct is.
Het apparaat vult zich
niet met water en pompt
dit direct weg.
Zorg dat de afvoerslang zich op de juiste hoogte bevindt. De
slang kan te laag hangen.
Het apparaat pompt
geen water weg.
Controleer of de gootsteenafvoer niet verstopt is.
Controleer of er geen knikken of bochten in de waterafvoer-
slang aanwezig zijn.
Controleer of het afvoerfilter niet verstopt is. Reinig indien no-
dig het filter. Zie het hoofdstuk "Onderhoud en reiniging".
Zorg ervoor dat de aansluiting van de waterafvoerslang correct
is.
Stel het afvoerprogramma in als u een programma zonder af-
voerfase instelt.
Stel het afvoerprogramma in als u een optie heeft gekozen
waarbij water in de kuip blijft.
De centrifugeerfase
werkt niet of de wascy-
clus duurt langer dan
normaal.
Stel het centrifugeprogramma in.
Controleer of het afvoerfilter niet verstopt is. Reinig indien no-
dig het filter. Zie het hoofdstuk "Onderhoud en reiniging".
Verdeel het wasgoed handmatig in de trommel en start de
centrifugefase opnieuw. Dit probleem wordt mogelijk veroor-
zaakt door problemen met de balans.
Er ligt water op de vloer. Zorg ervoor dat de aansluitingen van de waterslangen goed
vast zitten en dat er geen lekken zijn.
Controleer of de waterafvoerslang niet is beschadigd.

Zorg ervoor dat u het juiste wasmiddel en de juiste hoeveel-
heid gebruikt.
U kunt de deur van het
apparaat niet openen.
Zorg ervoor dat het wasprogramma voltooid is.
Stel het afvoer- of centrifugeerprogramma in als er zich water
in de trommel bevindt.
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat stroom krijgt.
Dit probleem kan veroorzaakt worden door een storing van het
apparaat. Neem contact op met de Servicedienst. Als u de
deur moet openen, lees dan zorgvuldig “Nooddeuropening”.
Het apparaat maakt een
abnormaal geluid.
Zorg dat het apparaat waterpas staat. Raadpleeg "Montage".
Zorg ervoor dat de verpakking en/of de transportbouten ver-
wijderd zijn. Raadpleeg "Montage".
Voeg meer wasgoed aan de trommel toe. De lading is te klein.
De cyclus is korter dan
de weergegeven tijd.
Het apparaat berekent een nieuwe tijd aan de hand van de
wasgoedlading. Zie het hoofdstuk ‘Verbruikswaarden’.
De cyclus is langer dan
de weergegeven tijd.
Een wasgoedlading die niet in balans is verlengt de duur. Dit is
normaal gedrag van het apparaat.
Het wasresultaat is niet
bevredigend.
Gebruik meer wasmiddel of gebruik een ander middel.
Gebruik voor het verwijderen van hardnekkige vlekken speciale
producten voordat u het wasgoed wast.
Zorg dat u de juiste temperatuur instelt.
Verminder de hoeveelheid wasgoed.
U kunt geen optie instell-
en.
Zorg dat u alleen op de gewenste knop(pen) drukt.
Schakel het apparaat na de controle in. Het programma gaat verder vanaf het punt waar het
werd onderbroken.
Als het probleem opnieuw optreedt, neemt u contact op met de Servicedienst.
Als de display andere alarmcodes aangeeft. Het apparaat uit en weer aanzetten. Als het
probleem opnieuw optreedt, neemt u contact op met de Servicedienst.
14. NOODDEUROPENING
In het geval van een stroomstoring of
apparaatstoring blijft de deur van het
apparaat vergrendeld. Het
wasprogramma gaat verder als er weer
stroom is. Als de deur door een storing
vergrendeld blijft, is het mogelijk om de
deur te openen met een
noodontgrendeling.

1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the installation and use of the appliance,
carefully read the supplied instructions. The
manufacturer is not responsible if an incorrect
installation and use causes injuries and damages. Always
keep the instructions with the appliance for future
reference.
1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
• Do not let children play with the appliance.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away
unless continuously supervised.
• Keep all packaging away from children.
• Keep all detergents away from children.
• Keep children and pets away from the appliance door
when it is open.
• If the appliance has a child safety device, we
recommend you activate it.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

General Safety
•
Do not change the specification of this appliance.
• Obey the maximum load volume of 7 kg (refer to the
“Programme chart” chapter).
• The operating water pressure (minimum and
maximum) must be between 0,5 bar (0,05 MPa) and 8
bar (0,8 MPa).
• The ventilation openings in the base (if applicable)
must not be obstructed by a carpet.

• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains
using the new supplied hose-sets. Old hose sets must
not be reused.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its Authorised Service Centre or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and
disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Do not use water spray and steam to clean the
appliance.
• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use
neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products,
abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Installation
• Remove all the packaging and the
transit bolts.
• Keep the transit bolts. When you
move the appliance again you must
block the drum.
• Always be careful when you move the
appliance because it is heavy. Always
wear safety gloves.
• Do not install or use a damaged
appliance.
• Obey the installation instruction
supplied with the appliance.
• Do not install or use the appliance
where the temperature is less than 0
°C or where it is exposed to the
weather.
• Make sure that the floor where you
install the appliance is flat, stable,
heat resistant and clean.
• Make sure that there is air circulation
between the appliance and the floor.
• Adjust the feet to have the necessary
space between the appliance and the
carpet.
• Do not install the appliance where the
appliance door can not be fully
opened.
2.2 Electrical Connection
• The appliance must be earthed.
• Always use a correctly installed
shockproof socket.
• Make sure that the electrical
information on the rating plate agrees
with the power supply. If not, contact
an electrician.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and
extension cables.
• Make sure not to cause damage to
the mains plug and to the mains
cable. Should the mains cable need
to be replaced, this must be carried
out by our Authorised Service Centre.
• Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket only at the end of the
installation. Make sure that there is
access to the mains plug after the
installation.
• Do not touch the mains cable or the
mains plug with wet hands.
• Do not pull the mains cable to
disconnect the appliance. Always pull
the mains plug.
• Only for UK and Ireland: The
appliance has a 13 amp mains plug. If
it is necessary to change the fuse in
the mains plug, use a 13 amp ASTA
(BS 1362) fuse.
• This appliance complies with the
E.E.C. Directives.

2.3 Water connection
• Make sure not to cause damage to
the water hoses.
• Before you connect the appliance to
new pipes or pipes not used for a
long time, let the water flow until it is
clean.
• The first time you use the appliance,
make sure that there is no leakage.

To reduce the creases of the laundry, this cycle regulates the water temperature and performs a soft
wash and spin phase. The appliance adds some rinses.

During this cycle the drum rotates slowly to ensure a gentle washing. It can seem that the drum
doesn't rotate or doesn't rotate properly. Consider this as a normal functioning of the appliance.

Set the spin speed. Make sure it agrees with the laundry. If you set No Spin option the only drain
phase is available.

This programme is for daily use and has lowest energy and water consumption maintaining a good
washing performance.

Standard programmes for the Energy Label consumption values. According to regulation
1061/2010, these programmes are respectively the «Standard 60°C cotton programme» and the «Stand-
ard 40°C cotton programme». They are the most efficient programmes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption for washing normally soiled cotton laundry.
The water temperature of the washing phase may differ from the temperature declared
for the selected programme.

If you set a Steam programme with dried laundry, at the end of the cycle the laundry could be humid.
It is better to expose the items to the fresh air for about 10 minutes to let the humidity dry. When the
programme is completed, quickly remove the laundry from the drum. After a steam cycle, items may to
be ironed anyway, but with less effort!

Steam does not remove animal odours.

data: the quantity and type of laundry, the water and ambient tempera-

At programme start the display shows the duration programme for the
maximum load capacity.
During the washing phase the programme duration is automatically cal-
culated and can be greatly reduced if the laundry load is lower than the
maximum load capacity (e.g. Cotton 60°C, maximum load capacity 7 kg,
the programme duration exceeds 2 hours; real load 1 kg, the pro-
gramme duration don’t reach 1 hour).
When the appliance is calculating the real programme duration a dot
blinks in the display.

7. SETTINGS
7.1 Acoustic signals
The acoustic signals operate when:
• You activate the appliance.
• You deactivate the appliance.
• You press the buttons.
• The programme is completed.
• The appliance has a malfunction.
To deactivate/activate the acoustic
signals, press Vlekken - Taches and Extra
Spoelen - Rinçage + at the same time for
6 seconds.
If you deactivate the
acoustic signals, they
continue operate when the
appliance has a malfunction.
7.2 Child Lock
With this option you can prevent that the
children play with the control panel.
• To activate/deactivate this option,
press Temp.°C and T/min. at the
same time until the indicator
comes on/goes off.
You can activate this option:
• After you press Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause : the options and the
programme knob are locked.
• Before you press Start/Pauze -
Départ/Pause : the appliance cannot
start.
7.3 Permanent Extra Rinse
With this option you can permanently
have an extra rinse when you set a new
programme.

9. BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Put 2 litre of water in the detergent
compartment for washing phase.
This activates the drain system.
2. Put a small quantity of detergent in
the compartment for washing phase.
3. Set and start a programme for cotton
at the highest temperature without
laundry.
This removes all possible dirt from the
drum and the tub.
10. DAILY USE
10.1 Activating the appliance
1. Open the water tap.
2. Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket.
3. Press button Aan/Uit - Marche/Arrêt
to activate the appliance.
A short tune sounds.
10.2 Loading the laundry
1. Open the appliance door
2. Put the laundry in the drum, one item
at a time.
3. Shake the items before you put them
in the appliance.
Make sure not to put too much laundry
in the drum.
4. Close the door.

10.5 Setting a programme
1. Turn the programme knob and set
the programme:
• The related programme indicator
comes on.
• The indicator of Start/Pauze -
Départ/Pause flashes.
• The display shows: the default
temperature, the spin speed, the
indicators of the programme
phases and the programme
duration.
2. If necessary, change the
temperature, the spin speed, the
cycle duration, or add available
options. When you activate an
option, the indicator of the set
option comes on.
If you set something
incorrect, the display shows
the message Err.
10.6 Starting a programme
without the delay start
Press button Start/Pauze - Départ/Pause
to start the programme.
The relevant indicator stops to flash and
stays on.
On the display the indicator of the phase
is operation starts to flash.
The programme starts, the door is
locked. The display show the indicator
.
The drain pump can operate
for a short time when the
appliance fills water.
10.7 Behaviour of the
appliance
After approximately 15
minutes from the start of the
programme:
• The appliance adjusts
automatically the cycle
time to the laundry you
have put in the drum to
have perfect washing
results in the minimum
necessary time.
• The display shows the
new time value.
10.8 Starting a programme
with the delay start
1. Press button Startuitstel - Départ
Différé again and again until the
display shows the number of minutes
or hours of delay.
The related indicator comes on.
2. Press button Start/Pauze - Départ/
Pause.
The appliance starts the countdown of
the delay start.
When the countdown is completed, the
programme starts automatically.

10.11 Cancelling a running
programme
1. Press button Aan/Uit - Marche/Arrêt
to cancel the programme and to
deactivate the appliance.

again to activate the appliance.
Now, you can set a new washing
programme.
Before starting the new
programme the appliance
could drain the water. In this
case, make sure that the
detergent is still in the
detergent compartment, if
not fill the detergent again.
10.12 Opening the door
If the temperature and level
of the water in the drum are
too high and the drum still
rotates you cannot open the
door.
While a programme or the delay start
operates, the appliance door is locked.

The indicator of Start/Pauze - Départ/

1. Press button Aan/Uit - Marche/Arrêt
to deactivate the appliance.
After five minutes from the end of the
programme, the energy saving function
automatically deactivates the appliance.
When you activate the
appliance again, the display
show the end of the last set
programme. Turn the
programme knob to set a
new cycle.

10.14 Draining water out after
end of cycle
The washing programme is completed,
but there is water in the drum:
The drum turns regularly to prevent the
creases in the laundry.
The door lock indicator
is on. The
door stays locked.
You must drain the water to open the
door:
1. If necessary, decrease the spin
speed.
2. Press the Start/Pauze - Départ/Pause
button.

The appliance drains the water and

3. When the programme is completed
and the door lock indicator goes
off, you can open the door .
4. Press Aan/Uit - Marche/Arrêt some
seconds to deactivate the appliance.
The appliance drains and

10.15 AUTO Stand-by option
The AUTO Stand-by option automatically
deactivates the appliance to decrease
the energy consumption when:
• You do not use the appliance for 5
minutes before you press Start/Pauze
- Départ/Pause button.
Press the button Aan/Uit - Marche/
Arrêt to activate the appliance again.
• After 5 minutes from the end of the
washing programme
Press the button Aan/Uit - Marche/
Arrêt to activate the appliance again.
The display shows the end of the last
set programme.
Turn the programme knob to set a
new cycle.
11. HINTS AND TIPS
WARNING!

11.1 The laundry load
• Divide the laundry in: white, coloured,
synthetics, delicates and wool.
• Obey the washing instructions that
are on the laundry care labels.
• Do not wash together white and
coloured items.
• Some coloured items can discolour
with the first wash. We recommend
that you wash them separately for the
first times.
• Button up pillowcases, close zippers,
hooks and poppers. Tie up belts.
• Empty the pockets and unfold the
items.
• Turn inside out multilayered fabrics,
wool and items with painted
illustrations.
• Remove hard stains.
• Wash with a special detergent heavy
soil stains.
• Be careful with the curtains. Remove
the hooks or put the curtains in a
washing bag or pillowcase.
• Do not wash in the appliance laundry
without hems or with cuts. Use a
washing bag to wash small and/or
delicate items (e.g. underwired bras,
belts, tights, etc. ).
• A very small load can cause balance
problems with the spin phase. If this
occurs, adjust manually the items in
the tub and start the spin phase
again.
11.2 Stubborn stains
For some stains, water and detergent is
not sufficient.
We recommend that you remove these
stains before you put the items in the
appliance.
Special stain removers are available. Use
the special stain remover that is
applicable to the type of stain and fabric.
11.3 Detergents and additives
• Only use detergents and additives
specially made for washing machines:
– powder detergents for all types of
fabric,
– powder detergents for delicate
fabrics (40 °C max) and woollens,
– liquid detergents, preferably for
low temperature wash
programmes (60 °C max) for all
types of fabric, or special for
woollens only.
• Do not mix different types of
detergents.
• To help the environment, do not use
more than the correct quantity of
detergent.
• Obey the instructions that you find on
the on packaging of these products.

• Use the correct products for the type
and colour of the fabric, the
programme temperature and the
level of soil.
• If your appliance has not the
detergent dispenser with the flap
device, add the liquid detergents with
a dosing ball (supplied by the
detergent's manufacturer).
11.4 Ecological hints
• Set a programme without the
prewash phase to wash laundry with
normal soil.
• Always start a washing programme
with the maximum load of laundry.
• If necessary, use a stain remover when
you set a programme with a low
temperature.
• To use the correct quantity of the
detergent, check the water hardness
of your domestic system
11.5 Water hardness
If the water hardness in your area is high
or moderate, we recommend that you
use a water softener for washing
machines. In areas where the water
hardness is soft it is not necessary to use
a water softener.
To know the water hardness in your area,
contact your local water authority.
Use the correct quantity of the water
softener. Obey the instructions that you
find on the packaging of the product.
12. CARE AND CLEANING
WARNING!
Refer to Safety chapters.
12.1 External cleaning
Clean the appliance only with soap and
warm water. Fully dry all the surfaces.
CAUTION!
Do not use alcohol, solvents
or chemical products.
12.2 Descaling
If the water hardness in your area is high
or moderate, we recommend that you
use a water descaling product for
washing machines.
Regularly examine the drum to prevent
limescale and rust particles.
To remove rust particles use only special
products for washing machine. Do this
separately from the laundry wash.
Always obey the instructions
that you find on the
packaging of the product.
12.3 Maintenance wash
With the low temperature programmes it
is possible that some detergent stays in
the drum. Make regularly a maintenance
wash. To do this:
• Remove the laundry from the drum.
• Set the cotton programme with the
highest temperature with a small
quantity of detergent.
12.4 Door seal
Regularly examine the seal and remove
all objects from the inner part.

12.8 Emergency drain
Because of a malfunction, the appliance
cannot drain the water.
If this occurs, do steps (1) through (9) of
'Cleaning the drain filter'. If necessary,
clean the pump.
When you drain the water with the
emergency drain procedure, you must
activate again the drain system:

Put 2 litres of water in the main wash
compartment of the detergent
dispenser.

12.9 Frost precautions
If the appliance is installed in an area
where the temperature can be less than
0° C, remove the remaining water from
the inlet hose and the drain pump.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket.
2. Close the water tap.
3. Put the two ends of the inlet hose in
a container and let the water flow out
of the hose.
4. Empty the drain pump. Refer to the
emergency drain procedure.
5. When the drain pump is empty,
install the inlet hose again.
WARNING!
Make sure that the
temperature is more than 0
°C before you use the
appliance again.
The manufacturer is not
responsible for damages
caused by low temperatures.

13. TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING!
Refer to Safety chapters.
13.1 Introduction
The start of the appliance does not occur
or it stops during operation.
First try to find a solution to the problem
(refer to the table). If not, contact the
Authorised Service Centre.
With some problems, the acoustic
signals operate and the display shows
an alarm code:
• - The appliance does not fill with
water properly.
• - The appliance does not drain
the water.
• - The appliance door is open or
not closed correctly. Please check the
door!
• - The mains supply is unstable.
Wait until the mains supply is stable.
• - The anti-flood device is on.
Disconnect the appliance and close
the water tap. Contact the Authorised
Service Centre.
WARNING!
Deactivate the appliance
before you do the checks.
13.2 Possible failures

The programme does
not start.
Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains sock-
et.
Make sure that the appliance door is closed.
Make sure that there is not a damaged fuse in the fuse box.
Make sure that the Start/Pause has been pressed.
If the delay start is set, cancel the setting or wait for the end of
countdown.
Deactivate the Child Lock function if it is on.
The appliance does not
fill with water properly.
Make sure that the water tap is open.
Make sure that the pressure of the water supply is not too low.
For this information, contact your local water authority.
Make sure that the water tap is not clogged.
Make sure that the filter of the inlet hose and the filter of the
valve are not clogged. Refer to “Care and cleaning”.
Make sure that the inlet hose has no kinks or bends.
Make sure that the connection of the water inlet hose is cor-
rect.
The appliance does not
fill with water and drain
immediately.
Make sure that the drain hose is in the correct position. The
hose may be too low.

phase.
Set the drain programme if you set an option which ends with
water in the tub.
The spin phase does not
operate or the washing
cycle lasts longer than
usually.
Set the spin programme.
Make sure that the drain filter is not clogged. Clean the filter, if
necessary. Refer to 'Care and cleaning'.
Adjust manually the items in the tub and start the spin phase
again. This problem may be caused by balance problems.
There is water on the
floor.
Make sure that the couplings of the water hoses are tight and
there is not water leakages.
Make sure that the drain hose have no damages.
Make sure you use the correct detergent and the correct quan-
tity of it.
You cannot open the ap-
pliance door.
Make sure that the washing programme is finished.
Set the drain or the spin programme if there is water in the
drum.
Make sure that the appliance receives electrical power.
This problem may be caused by a failure of the appliance.
Contact the Authorised Service Centre. If you need to open
the door, please read carefully «Emergency door opening».
The appliance makes an
unusual noise.
Make sure the levelling of the appliance is correct. Refer to 'In-
stallation'.
Make sure that the packaging and/or the transit bolts are re-
moved. Refer to 'Installation'.
Add more laundry in the drum. The load may be too small.

The cycle is shorter than
the time displayed.
The appliance calculates a new time according to the laundry
load. See the ‘Consumption Values’ chapter.
The cycle is longer than
the time displayed.
An unbalanced laundry load increases the duration time. This
is a normal behaviour of the appliance.
The washing results are
not satisfactory.
Increase the detergent quantity or use a different detergent.
Use special products to remove the stubborn stains before you
wash the laundry.
Make sure that you set the correct temperature.
Decrease the laundry load.
You cannot set an op-
tion.
Make sure that you press only the wanted button(s).
After the check, activate the appliance. The programme continues from the point of
interruption.
If the problem occurs again, contact the Authorised Service Centre.
If the display shows other alarm codes. Deactivate and activate the appliance. If the
problem continues, contact the Authorised Service Centre.
14. EMERGENCY DOOR OPENING
In case of power failure or appliance
failure the appliance door remains
locked. The washing programme
continues, when the power is restored. If
the door remains locked in case of
failure, it is possible to open it using the
emergency unlock feature.
Before opening the door:
CAUTION!
Make sure that the water
temperature and the
laundry are not hot. Wait
till they cool down, if
necessary.
CAUTION!
Make sure that the drum is
not rotating. Wait till the
drum stops rotating, if
necessary.
Make sure that the water
level inside the drum is not
too high. Proceed with an
emergency drain, if
necessary (refer to
«Emergency drain» in
«Care and cleaning»
chapter).
To open the door, proceed as follows:
1. Press the button Aan/Uit - Marche/
Arrêt to switch the appliance off.
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket.
3. Open the filter flap.
4. Keep the emergency unlock trigger
pulled downward and, at the same
time, open the appliance door.

5. Take out the laundry and then close

6. Close the filter flap.
